I purchased a brand new washing machine and had service come to repair the machine approximately five times within the first year. Every time the machine was repaired, it was for different reasons. I contacted the main office and spoke to a woman named Sherry who is a supervisor and she was very nasty. This is a brand new machine and I feel that it should be replaced with a new one. Sherry said that there was nothing she can do for me. Is there a lemon law for appliances? The machine is used for my son and me only. I have all appliances in my house by General Electric and this is my first and last experience with Whirlpool.

New water making loud pinging noises when burner shut off. Whirlpool referred plumber. Plumber stated this is normal. After few months heater would make loud humming noise when burner turned on. Called Whirlpool again. Said I had to pay for plumber to troubleshoot and if part needed I had to pay labor to replace part. Would never recommend this product to anybody.

Purchased the Cabrio top loading washer and dryer. Huge mistake. The clothes come out of the washer a tangled wrinkle mess. Have tried different cycles and water levels to no avail. Dark clothes have detergent streaks and lint. The dryer has a steam refresh cycle which Ive used to try and remove some of the wrinkles caused to no avail. Clothes come out with water spots. Ive only owned this dual for about 6 months. Take my advice and DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

I bought this Whirlpool America dishwasher because it was cheap. Even though Im Canadian, I like patriotism and I could get behind the American flag logo on the washer. Let me just say, if you like when food comes off your plates, and attaches to your cups, then this is the dishwasher for you. It is always a surprise when you open the door to discover which dishes have been cleaned, and which dishes have inherited the food particles from the now clean dishes. This appliance really helps you work on time management as you are required to wash all your dishes before you put them into the dishwasher. 0/10 would not recommend for anyone who wants clean dishes.

I have a Whirlpool Cabrio washer (Model: wtw6400sw2 / Serial Number: cu0271913) and I am very disappointed with it. The spin cycle is the worst--sounds like a jet engine and gives me the UL error message of unbalance load. The machine was purchased in 2007 but was kept indoors. I contacted customer service and they advised me to contact the repair service in my area to get a diagnostic analysis of the issue. Hello! I already know what the problem is after reading all these reviews! I cannot tell you how pissed off I am. I will never purchase anything Whirlpool and I will contact BBB as soon as possible. Bought a Whirlpool Freezer on bottom in Feb 2012. Its December 2015. Only had gotten a 2-yr warranty. Wished I would have gotten a longer one. About a yr ago the freezer started leaking water all over the bottom of the freezer which turned into a sheet of ice... then leaking water all over the floor. Now there is a knocking/clicking noise coming from the back of it. This product is only 4 yrs old and Im praying it doesnt give out on us. That was an almost $2,000 purchase. I was hoping to at least get 10 yrs out of it. Never buying a Whirlpool Fridge again.

My Whirlpool refrigerator, a side by side refrigerator, doesnt stay cold. Now it is 60 inside and my ice is melting but temp says it is 40 in freezer. It is only little over a year old and warranty is no longer good. Hard to believe it didnt last any longer. I paid an expensive price for it. Now I have to have a repair man come and fix it.

I bought this Whirlpool Duet Sport washer and dryer, and I have had to constantly bleach out because our laundry smells like mold. I found out that Tide sells a special cleanser for this washer so I have been using that for the past two years. It did not really help. Well, today I accidentally put laundry soap in the wrong dispenser, so I took the dispenser out and was horrified to find mold that was all in the back where the fluid is dispensed, I mean way back in there. I have been suffering with sinus problems, and swelling in my eyes and face. I even went to the doctor, but no one has figured out why. I now know it is the mold from my washer making me sick. Well, my son and daughter-in-law were staying with me, and commented on how bad it was when they used my towels. I am stuck with a $1,600 washer and dryer that is making my family sick.

Whirlpool did send out a Whirlpool certified technician, which they paid for, who stated this has been a common issue with these and other models of Whirlpool Cabrio wash machines. Says in his 3 yrs with the company he has seen and diagnosed over 30 machines with basically the same issues (bearings are SHOT) and Whirlpool refuses to accept any responsibility for the defective design and that, in his opinion, they shouldve never been released. He gave me an estimate of $257.13 to repair. We decided to go ahead with the repair and technician came out only to tell me that there has been a re-work in the design of the replacement parts as Whirlpool realized they were faulty. So I now have to wait for the NEW designed replacement parts to come in as they are back ordered. WTF does that mean??? Shouldnt there be a RE-CALL and shouldnt they accept responsibility for this??? This has been, without a doubt, the most disappointment weve had with any purchase of a NEW appliance or, anything else for that matter, in our lives. After reading through some of these same complaints Im wondering if this machine is nothing, but a money pit and whats going to go wrong next. We also purchased the Cabrio dryer at the same time and have had no issues with it as of this time, but I assure you, I wait with baited breath. Their customer service department is piss poor AT BEST!! Please, stay away from ALL Whirlpool appliances in the future.

We purchased our oven in February 2012. In April 2013, we began smelling gas. I called the gas company. They came within thirty minutes and determined the gas was coming from within the oven by using a gas detecting probe. The gas was turned off by the gas company. I contacted an appliance company who came out for $95.00 and used some type of spray looking device to check for leakage or bubbles to tell us we had no problem. Our warranty was only good for the one year. The appliance company ripped us off and Whirlpool was a bad deal. After reading of all the complaints of Whirlpool, I will not buy Whirlpool ever again. I will admit that the stove worked fine for the year. I was hoping for a longer life of this stove. Now, Im afraid to use it.

We have had this Cabrio washer/dryer pair for 8 years now. I didnt want to buy a front loader at the time since they were relatively new and was afraid to roll the dice. We saw the ads for this pair, the washer was the largest top loader at the time and didnt have the agitator (which I liked) so we bought them from Best Buy. I purchased the extended service plan (thank God) because we started having issues within the first month. First was the dryer, it was making a funny squeaking noise. We called to have it looked at and the tech said the drum was out of round. He ordered a new one and it showed up almost oblong. Returned it and got a second (same thing). We straightened it out and put it in. Two weeks later the control panel went out. Repaired it. Then the washer started. In the first 3 years of owning these we had called to repair the washer 4 times and the dryer 4 times. We could have got them replaced after the 5th call. Of course we had replaced all the faulty stuff and the pair settled down for 2 years.Now I have had to repair the washers control panel myself, the dryer sounds like it is coming apart and sometimes runs for hours, and now the washer cant wash in any cycle but delicate because the drum bangs around and cant self balance any more. What junk!!! I know people that have purchased low end machines and have had no issues for decades, maybe a random belt or something simple. I wouldnt buy another Whirlpool set if they were the last manufacturer on the planet. They should be ashamed that they didnt recall these things for all the problems they had.

We bought our washer, dryer, stove, microwave, and dishwasher in September of 2010. In 3 years we have had to replace our Whirlpool over the stove venting microwave, have spent over $550.00 on repairs on the Whirlpool refrigerator, and now have to replace our Whirlpool Cabrio washer. This of course does not include our time, effort & frustrations, especially with Whirlpool customer service. Will NEVER buy Whirlpool again. Were all for a class action lawsuit.

I purchased a top load Whirlpool Washer and Dryer in April 2021. When it was installed I commented about how noisy it was. I was told it was because it was empty, but it will be much quieter once you put in a load of laundry. That did not make any difference. I called Whirlpool customer service and explained I had just purchased it less than a week ago and it appeared to be very noisy. I was told they could send someone out, but if they determined there was not a problem I would be charged a service call. I said the machine is not even a week old why would I be charged a service call shouldnt this be a warranty issue. Again I was told there would be a service call charge.I am completely baffled at the customer service response. This is the first and only time I called. I contacted the store where I purchased both the washer and dryer and was told it should not be that loud, this is the first time anyone has complained about the noise level and there should not be charge. Whirlpool has terrible customer service and I will NEVER purchase another Whirlpool product again because of the customer service. I have purchased numerous appliances in my lifetime and have never been treated so poorly. If I could return both the washer and dryer I would not hesitate. I would not recommend Whirlpool to anyone.

I bought a water heater in 2008 from Lowes department store. The heater would continually go out causing no hot water. The company had sent several technical repair men out to resolve this problem, and still the problem remains. The Technical Support requested that they will pay for the part and I could install it, not knowing if I am able to do such a job. The technicians who were sent to my home were not able to do the job. How do they expect me to do the job without proper experience? Whirlpool products are not reliable nor is their maintenance contract. Stay away from this company.

Ive had a Whirlpool range for not even a year yet and the thing is on its third repair! First, the motherboard goes out twice. Then, a month after the second motherboard replacement, the broiler drawer handles melts off! ABT has been good at repairing it but seriously, I got the appliance last May! Now, Ive been waiting two months for some insulation piece on the handle. I think this product is a lemon and I am highly disappointed in this brand. I had called Whirlpool regarding this and they said their technicians would have to inspect the product and repair it. I trust them less to repair the stove than ABT!

We purchased the 36 inch Wide 4 Door Refrigerator with Exterior Drawer about three years ago and it broke down twice in that time frame. Horrible. We purchased the set In October 2010. It worked great for a little over a year. (Go figure, just out of the manufacturers warranty.) The washer stopped spinning out water. Every other cycle completes successfully. The diagnostic cycle is also successful but once there is clothes in the machine, it wont spin. I called customer service and was told that a one year warranty was $230 and service is $130 plus parts. After reading another horror story, it seems that this venture is going to cost us around $450 for a new circuit board. Where is that class action suit at again?

I purchased my Cabrio Whirlpool washer 4 years ago and have had problems every since I bought it! Thank goodness I bought the extended warranty! The last two repair bills were over $1000 each! My warranty just ran out and I had it repaired last two months ago! This is not my first complaint! When will they start listening to consumers? This is ridiculous! We bought our new Whirlpool Cabrio Washer & Dryer combo from Lowes on the north side of San Antonio, TX, for delivery when our new home was completed in Blanco, TX. Delivery & setup went smoothly. But it wasnt long before we both noticed something wrong with the washer. What was supposed to be one of the quietest washers on the market was far from it! -- loud grinding & thumping noises when the spin cycle would kick in. Whirlpool service dept was called and a repair tech was dispatched - 4 TIMES! The tech from Appliance Science spends most of his time on his phone talking to tech support, and has pretty much changed out parts at will! The motherboard, the pump, the clutch, the splutch have all been changed, to no use!We still experience problems with the washer NOT spinning, or only spinning for a short time, and the clothes still soaking wet! Its a good thing the dryer works well, because the washer is a dud, and we cant do a damn thing about it! Weve been told by Whirlpool service that since we have a repair warranty, we cannot get a replacement washer because we dont have a replacement warranty. Ive never heard something so ridiculous! Color us highly dissatisfied in TX!

I wrote down names, but I will not say them here. I found many recall sites on Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6200vwo for washer tub bearings. Which mine are bad. I called and logged my complaint but they say they have NO recall on any of their products and will send someone out but will charge me a service call unwarranted and parts if needed. I told them there are many websites that recall their tub bearings but they refused to fix the problem on recall. I dont have photos due to bearings are under the tub.

Whirlpool Cabrio washer - Absolute piece of garbage! Doesnt clean clothes at all. Too bad there isnt a glass top to this machine where you can witness the inefficient operations as it goes through a cycle. Whoever came up with the idea of this AquaLift oven cleaning method should be fired! This method does not work. Ive barely used my oven but had some cheese pizza drip on it so thought I should clean before using again. What a JOB! The spill did not come off the bottom entirely and using the non-scratch scrubbing sponge was a joke. There is some soil on the sides and back of the oven that I will have to use elbow grease to get off and Im going to have to crawl into the oven to see if they can be remove. Welcome back to the old days before self-cleaning ovens!

We purchased a Whirlpool washing machine for $600 from a local retailer and it broke down within three months. It is now been two months and two repairman visits later and still not fixed. I called them and talked to customer service who then transferred me to another department. So far it’s just been the typical runaround with no results. I demanded an immediate replacement but was told that would need approval from yet another department. I don’t remember what departments are involved nor do I care. I purchased a WhirlPool dishwasher in 2016. The primary motor had to be replaced in 2018. WP paid for the part; however, I had to cover the labor, which was expensive. In 2019 the drying element broke. Again, WP will replace the part but leave me to cover the labor. Ive decided to purchase a new dishwasher (none of the Whirlpool brands) with a 5 year warranty. This was a substitute for model I actually wanted, I was told the one I would receive was the newest model version of the model I wanted. What that meant was it was the stripped down version. It does not get clothes clean nor does it spin/balance the load which causes it to walk around the room. It is only 9 months old and I need a repairman.

I bought a complete kitchen set of the Whirlpool Gold Series Appliance from Brand-Smart in 2/2013. The first problem I had was the compressor on the refrigerator. It started making a noise & stopped cooling in 04/2014. I called Whirlpool and they said there was only a year warranty on parts and service. I was not notified that I could get an ext. warranty. Therefore I will have to pay for the repair. I called a service tech out and he said I needed a new compressor, total cost 255.00. Then in 11/2014 it started making the same noise & stopped cooling another $255.00. Now its doing the same thing. It needs another compressor, will cost me $255.00 more! A total of $765.00!! And I have only had the refrigerator 2 years 2/2015.

The washer was 5 months old and broke. Three service appointments and multiple phone calls, it still wasn’t fixed. When I grew up, my mom and dad had a Whirlpool dishwasher and it was the ONLY dishwasher we EVER had. The SAME one, for over 20 years! So, with confidence, I purchased a mid-range unit. (over $600 2015). By 2016, ONE year later, I was already buying replacement parts because the top rack was falling apart and the bottom spinner broke as well. The parts were extremely expensive and hard to find. Now, a mere 4 years later, you cannot find ANY parts for this machine and there are so many issues with the unit. It is no longer functioning. When it did work it ran for 4 HOURS!! Even then, the dishes are filthy. I am so upset by whirlpool. I want a full refund from the company for treating their loyal customer so badly.

Four months after purchasing an $1,800 stainless French door fridge it began to not cool even though it was running. I called and was on hold for 45 minutes, then transferred to a different service company that could only come 3 days later. They were here a total of 3 times and each time they could not fix it. It would run for a few days or weeks then die again. Each time I lost a few hundred dollars in food. Each time I was on the phone for almost an hour, and each time it was days later before they would come. Whirlpool refused to refund or swap out the unit. I would have been stuck if it were not for Home Depot finally agreeing to exchange it for an LG.I have never been so upset with any companies customer service in my 45 yrs. The only reason that I am writing this is because my Sony 65 TV died the other day. It was 6 months old and I called Sony. They answered within four minutes and quickly decided to exchange it for a new one and extend my warranty for 2 additional years. There are still decent companies out there. I will never buy another Whirlpool product again.

I finally called Whirlpool and they basically said, were a big company and you must for the rusty, broken drive shaft, pay for all new computer face plate, and service repair. I contacted the FTC and they told me they needed more complaints in order to make them do a recall on Cabrios. Good luck!

I bought a French door, counter depth, Whirlpool refrigerator model GIOFSAXVY05 in 2011. It leaks water under the front of the freezer on to my cherry wood floor. This has caused much damage to my new house and floor. It is noisy, runs a lot, but its the leaking that has me most disgusted. I wish I would have known about this defect before purchase and ruining my floor.

We did our research and wanted to buy a new washer and dryer with a trusted brand that would last. Our previous washer and dryer (different brand) lasted almost 20 years. Our new Whirlpool Duet HE Front Load washer only lasted about 2 years. The washer started making a terribly loud noise when spinning. We had a repair guy come out to evaluate the problem and provide an estimate for repairs. He said the drum, bearings, and truing was all one unit and the repairs would cost more than the washer. The factory warranty is only a year. BIG disappointment in Whirlpool.

I bought my Whirlpool refrigerator (Fresh door with Ice maker) from Best Buy in July 2017. By 2019 December the ice maker had stopped working and the refrigerator turns off / shuts down automatically. Have confirmed that the power is still on because of the display on the door. So it is not a power issue. Paid $180 for a Whirlpool authorized consultation and they said the Ice maker motor does has stopped working and the computer board needs to be repaired. This will cost me around $800. Called up customer service to see if the cost can be lowered but of course they said a NO. I am truly upset with the brand and with Customer Service for their lack of empathy.

We purchased our oven from Sears, and less than two years later, the oven would not cook a chicken. We do not use the oven very often. We grill out and use the top burners often. We had the oven repaired through our home warranty program, and now 8 months later, it seems to be occurring again.

What a horrible experience. I purchased a Whirlpool Duet HE Front Loading Steam Washer in 9/9. I have used it no more than 15 times. It has an error code F70. I called Whirlpool and used one of their recommended technicians. He was there for no more than five minutes and he informed me that it was one of the two parts--one is $300, the other is $500. Both these parts are computer chips. He instructed me to call Whirlpool stating that they would give me the parts for free. I did, and they refused stating that the product is now out of the one-year warranty. This is clearly defective. I am now faced with $1,000 fix. I feel that I was further misled by Whirlpool because they should have told me before the service call that I was going to have to pay $1,000. The customer service reps and the manager were both unresponsive and rude.

A top loading washing machine with an agitator in my opinion, gets my clothes 100xs cleaner than one without. Ive owned front loaders and top without agitators. Never again. Top with agitator is my personal preference from now on. Also Whirlpool has never failed me unlike other brands.

I purchased the Whirlpool Cabrio washer in 2011. It has been nothing but trouble since. I have had repair people out here several times, because the machine twists and tangles the clothes, doesnt get the clothes clean. Sometimes the clothes come out dry without even getting them wet. I purchased a WP side by side refrigerator and made sure I purchased an extended warranty. I paid the extended warranties faithfully each year since the initial purchase. In the last few weeks we had to call the phone number on the last WP extended warranty invoice and they sent a repairman. He said the refrigerator was un-repairable. The repairman gave my husband SR#** and a Cust. Service telephone #800-253-1301. I called and they gave me another SR#** and phone #866-931-7390 to call the following Friday. I called the number (Team Resolution Specialists) Friday 6/26/20 and was offered an amount that wouldnt even pay half of a refrigerator like that. They did not even offer to replace the refrigerator.The company where I work (for 20 years) sells Whirlpool appliances. We have purchased thousands and thousands of dollars of WP appliances. I work in Accounts Payable. I print a check for the appliances to pay for them promptly. I am so disappointed in Whirlpool. What has happened to Whirlpools quality of product and quality of service. I am so disappointed.

We have our stove for over five years and we have had no problems with it over the years. It has a black top and this seems like it is a little harder to clean, but other from that we have had no problems with either stove or oven.

I bought my Whirlpool top loading washing machine 07-22-14. I so dislike the locking mechanism and will be certain to never, ever buy a machine with that feature again. It is so irritating to try to add something but cant because its locked so have to hold the button 3 seconds to unlock and start all over. If there was any way to get around it I would. I will stay away from Whirlpool products in the future and will be sure to check the next time I buy that the lid of the washer can be lifted when not spinning. Also, I do not like that it sticks on rinse sometimes and the only way to end a cycle is to hold the button and then start over with much wasted water.

I purchased a Whirlpool 40 gallon gas water heater from Lowes approximately 4 years ago. As of yesterday, the pilot will not light. I assume the t-couple is bad. But in the process of doing some research, I could not help but see that there is a quality problem with heaters manufactured around the time mine was. I dont have the model number with me at the moment. I would like to know what the permanent fix is for these heaters.

After reading all of the nightmare stories concerning this washer one would think Whirlpool would offer a recall and try to correct their wrong doing. Do not buy a Whirlpool Cabrio. I cant believe they can get away with treating their customers so unfairly, taking their hard earned money for crap like this, then not offering to help after so many have had issues. The Cabrio is loud, doesnt get clothes clean, and is always flashing UL for uneven load (when it works at all). My local repairman has made many trips to fix my problem Cabrio. I purchased a Whirlpool range from Lowes for $750.00. After 13 months, the digital circuit board went out and cost $580.00 to repair. I thought this was odd since the range was fairly new. The service tech said the boards are a common problem. Two years later, when using the self-cleaning mode, the door was locked and the board was out again. So this must be the issue because that is the same problem that happened the first time. This must be a design flaw! The board cannot handle the heat generated in self-clean mode. Way to go Whirlpool, put the board near the oven door where it is subjected to extreme heat and melts!

I purchased a washer Type: 587-08, MOD: 1CWTW48004QO, Serial # C21920164 about two years ago. The appearance of the machine is in an excellent condition but its not working. The tub inside is slanted and makes a loud banging sound when rinsing. It is no longer in warranty. All my appliances are Whirlpool brand because my mom has items that are still 15years and over. This machine that I purchased did not even give me a quarter of that. The prices of these items are expensive and increasing all the time but the quality, durability and lifetime is diminishing at a faster rate. I am worried about all the other items I purchased: dryer, refrigerator, stove and microwave. I am most dissatisfied. I STRONGLY believe that this unfair and unlawful....I work hard and save up to buy these items to only get two years from it......Whirlpool please render some assistance!!!

I have used my Maytag washing machine weekly for the last 11 years... Never a problem. Just a well made, basic machine to wash clothes thoroughly. It does not have all the bells and whistles some of the newer models have, but it is a washing machine, not a video game.

Whirlpool has a terrible customer service! I have an almost new washer broken and I had it repaired. The company is having the same issues in another model and yet, they would not offer to even refund the repair.

Whirlpool 500galaxy gas water heater - First week ran great. Now Im lighting every day. Called Whirlpool and just getting run around. Had it a month today, still lighting every day. Cant afford to buy another.

We wanted the ease of use and longevity of a top loader WITHOUT a full touch screen. Whirlpool has such units in a choice of price levels to accommodate most everybody. The agitator free design and automatic water level feature is amazing. Clothes are nice and clean and uses about the same amount of water as flushing a toilet.

Weve owned this refrigerator for about 6 weeks now. It is a 23 cu. ft. model with a bottom freezer. It is working great, and we have no problems with temperature control in either the refrigerator or freezer sections.

I currently rent, and so when our literally 30-yr. old GE dishwasher broke down, our landlords went out and installed us a new Whirlpool Dishwasher. I was excited because FINALLY I would have clean dishes and a dishwasher that didnt leak a bucket of water all over the floor. Well, weve had it for about 6-8 months now and I have to say that I am not impressed. It is not as great as I thought itd be. First of all, my dishes still look cloudy (despite using various brands - even homemade - detergent). Second, one out of every three washes gives me still-dirty dishes (food still on them, even though I rinse before loading the dishes). Now, Im not talking about tough stuck-on, need a jack-hammer to remove food. Just normal food. Mostly it is oil, like if I had a plate that I had eaten French fries on and there was grease left behind that normal rinsing didnt remove. A new dishwasher SHOULD be able to clean that! Third, it guzzles Jet Dry liquid (or whatever rinse aid you use) like an alcoholic in a bar. I have used a BIG bottle in one month. One month. With the old 30 yr. old dishwasher, it took me around 2 YEARS to use a big bottle. And lastly, it takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R to wash a load. My old dishwasher took an hour tops - to rinse, wash, rinse, and dry - and it was 30 years old. This new Whirlpool takes 3 HOURS!!! I can literally hand-wash all of my dishes (and with a family of 4 thats a lot of dirty dishes in one day), sit them out to air dry, and take a nap and it take LESS TIME than using the dishwasher. The dishwasher has all the bells and whistles to make it look good, but trust me, if I could have had the 30-year old dishwasher rebuilt to newness, I would have begged my landlord to do that instead. Dont waste your money on Whirlpool appliances. I left another less than friendly review for my Whirlpool Cabrio washer (only 5 years old), if you care to see it. Learned my lesson, dont buy Whirlpool. So disappointed because they used to be (USED TO BE) a reputable dependable brand.

I bought a Whirlpool fridge. On the 2/29, I called service for Whirlpool on 3/2. No one was able to come out until 3/5. So, I had the inconvenience of food being stored, time away from work, and food spoilage. The fridge was fixed and worked until I wake up today (not even a week) and the freezer is thawing out yet again. Again, I removed food and there’s more spoilage. I’m waiting for service to arrive some time today. I called Whirlpool and there is no compensation of any kind. I’m never buying a Whirlpool product again.

Our new Whirlpool Side-by-Side Refrigerator is very versatile as it serves the needs of a busy, family kitchen. It is heavily used storing cold foodstuffs to feed our family of four, plus two active grandsons. The electronic panel on my 4 year old barely used wall oven went out when I used the self cleaning function for the first time. It is going to cost $400 to fix it and another $100 to replace the stainless steel sides. They will have to remove to get the oven out of the wall. The oven door is locked and cant be opened so of the wall will have to torn out as well. I called Whirlpool 3 times and have offered no assistance.

Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum Option - Very stylish. Well built - very solid and heavy constructions. Full features from quick wash to sanitary wash, very energy efficient, steam setting on dryer for touch-ups. Quick loads, etc. We were looking for a washer and dryer set that would accommodate large quilts and blankets and still have the flexibility to handle small and delicate loads, and be energy efficient. The Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum Option is solidly built and very sturdy. It handles small and large loads and is very energy efficient. Both the washer and dryer handle sheets and pillowcases without a problem. Wed recommend them to anyone.

IM single, and my current refrigerator meets my basic needs quite well. One drawback -- it has an ice making machine which I never use. Therefore, that takes up room in the freezer which could be used for frozen foods.

All of sudden without any notice there was such a clatter. We dashed downstairs to see what was the matter. My washer Cabrio was on its side off balance. I hollered what is the matter. We sit it up, see the back side bulge out and with some searching we discovered the balance thingy was broke. Now I bought April 2012 while going through Chemo May 2014. I burying my washing. Call Whirlpool. Well they say I file this away sorry about your luck - lol. Do not buy this washer unless you want another one in two years junk and they will not help. Well they will if you give them more. The 1400 dollars I already gave them for the set is not enough.

The first Front load Whirlpool washer leaked. 5 repair techs visits. Wasted days. Finally located the leak, in the main basket. Replaced washer. Second washer the clothes come out smelling like a horse blanket. Mold. Clean the washer every month still mold. Plan on junking the washer a getting a new model. Never expected this much trouble and time on a basic appliance.

I got a new Whirlpool washing machine and dryer last year and Im very happy with both. I like the fact that it offers a quick cycle if you have a small load or need something quickly. If youre debating on what brand of washing machine you should buy I highly recommend Whirlpool or the other brands because Ive had really good luck with mine.

I bought a compact washing machine and 4 months later it broke, needed a CCU board. To make a long story short now the machine is 7 months old and still broke. Whirlpool cant locate a part for it nor do they want to replace it. I think its time to get a Lawyer involved. Ive been calling for weeks now and have gotten nothing but the run around from all very Rude employees. Im turning this over to a lawyer. Im done dealing with Whirlpool. For a large corp Im very aggravated and severely disappointed with them. Wish I never bought their appliances. NEVER AGAIN.

We had purchased a Whirlpool Duet Sport Washer and Dryer in 2007. Since that time we have had several repairs on the dryer, resulting in us having to purchase an entire new unit in 2011 (4 years old), along with mold that has accumulated in the washing machine on the tub and rubber seal that cannot be removed after several attempts utilizing several products that were recommended. The end result is our laundry that has been washed - comes out with a musty odor. Not happy at all with the top of the line, best possible machine to produce clean laundry as was sold to us! This has been a nightmare, and a totally dysfunctional appliance that should have lasted longer than 5 years!

We bought a Whirlpool Washing machine a couple of years ago. We have been having problems. It does not get the clothes clean and laundry has an odor to it. We bought it at HHGreg by the Dayton mall in Centerville, Ohio and also bought the extended warranty. It was the largest capacity machine they had in Whirlpool so I dont need to mention what we spent for this thing. We have had a service tech out 3 times. The first time he replaced a part. It still didnt fix it. So they were out two other times saying nothing was wrong with it. Not only is it not getting the clothes clean, but is putting lint pieces all over the laundry. The warranty place already said if they come out again and they cannot find out what is wrong, then we would have to pay for the service call. We then went to the store we bought the machine and talked to the manager. We got no help from him. All he did was throw us back to the warranty place. Not to mention, the family is having itching problems with their skin because the clothes are not only not getting clean but the soap is not rinsing out. In other words, we are suppose to eat this expense and move on. This is a new machine!!!!! And all it is worth is taking it to a metal place to scrap out!!!!! We will never buy another Whirlpool product again. It is really **. They don’t back their products up and do the consumer right. There are a lot of complaints online about the same identical thing I am writing about. They should reimburse the people the money that they wasted. Thank you.

I am 72 years old and this Whirlpool Energy Star HE Washing Machine is just useless. It does not clean clothes properly. It always leaves a stinky washing machine smell which never goes away despite no matter what you do. A completely useless, faulty washing machine! Never ever buy a Whirlpool HE washing machine! Some websites say that you need to buy a washer fan at a cost of $69.99 and attach it to the back of your washing machine as this is the only way you can get rid of the smell. Who has that kind of money? Why is this fan not already included in this washing machine if Whirlpool is aware of the smelly washing machine/smelly clothes problem? This is such a joke! We would like to be reimbursed for our deficient Whirlpool Washing Machine or at the very least, have a recall of this inefficient, poorly designed washing machine. Report them to the Better Business Bureau and anyone else you think can resolve this problem - thanks!! - Unhappy camper

My front load washer doesn’t get my clothes clean. I have to rinse twice and still there is soap in my towels and they smell bad. I’ve followed all the tips without much luck. Now I use only Oxyclean and rinse with 1/4-1/8 c vinegar. The machine doesn’t pump all of the water out of the machine either. To me it is low-efficiency!

2 years of use the wash plate went. $150 later, one year later wash plate went again (the wash plate is all plastic, the motor spline in metal total stripes the plastic teeth in the wash plate) I replace myself. 3 weeks later the shift actuator failed which cost another $60 which I replaced. Now the bearing is going. There are only 3 people living in the house. I would stay away from the top loader washers from Whirlpool h2 low series. Huge disappointment.

We purchased Model # WFG231LVQ from Appliance Connections. Its a 5 burner with oven. When my husband went to clean the stove door, the bottom handle fell off because the heat from the oven had melted it brittle. Weve had this stove less than 3 months. Then we see where the clips that hold the glass on the front door have melted. The plate that separates the burner from the oven has bowed and splintered the porcelain. And the oval griddle burner only puts out flames on one side. Whirlpool sends a repairman out. He states that they really make them cheap these days. Writes down the whole list of things wrong with it. Repairman calls us back and reports that Whirlpool only wants to replace the parts. Im afraid to use my oven. I want it replaced or my money back!

We have a 2 1/2 yr. old Whirlpool gas stove. We have had the mechanic here several times as it would not ignite. We also have had the control panel repaired twice as it melted. It is melted again but they will do nothing. I tried to clean the oven with their AquaLift technology and had to re-do it four times and still have residue which appears to be permanent. We are very frustrated with it. We have used Whirlpool appliances for over 40 yrs. but will not buy another. Model#WFG710HOASO, Serial#R21712236.

I purchased a Whirlpool French door fridge 6 years ago. In less than a year, it was not cooling and I was able to retroactively purchase an extended warranty which ended up saving me a ton. Less than 3 years later it had broken 3 times with three different part problems with a total down time of 6 months. Despite saying it didn’t qualify for lemon law, I was able to get it replaced after presenting all the facts. 3 years later, the new one is now currently experiencing the same problem and running a toasty 58 degrees and my food is once again in coolers on ice. Shopping for a different brand and I recommend you do as well. Whirlpool used to be a brand you could rely on. No more.

The Whirlpool Quiet Partner II is a horrible dishwasher and should have never made it to a store to be sold. We have had the dishwasher for 4 years and about 6 months ago it started shutting off minutes after it was started. We would have to press the Cancel Button and try it again several more times prior to it finally completing the wash. After contacting our home warranty for help the tech said it is not worth fixing and will only give us a SMALL amount towards a new dishwasher.

We purchased this dishwasher (Gold Dishwasher WDF60SADB) because of its low 49-decibel rating. It goes over 60 decibels regularly and occasionally up to 70 during operation (not including drain noises which cannot be controlled by the dishwasher). We used a tablet app to confirm. Decibels are not linear, they are exponential. 70 decibels is what your average shower or dishwasher sounds like. 50 is about as quiet as a refrigerator. You have to talk over this dishwasher. And yes there was a big price difference between it and Whirlpools next loudest rated washer.Whirlpools customer service says they will not replace or repair based on sound ever, only for functional failure. Bottom line, dont pay any attention to Whirlpool sound ratings. They dont stand by them and do not consider gross overages a defect. Fortunately the retailer (Lowes) does stand by what they sell and will trade for any other machine by any other manufacturer. We have only good things to say about Lowes in this process. This machine arrived Wednesday, and we pick a replacement Sunday. It will not be a Whirlpool. I will never buy a Whirlpool anything again. We said it will do X but we dont care if a brand new one wont is no way to do business.

WORST EXPERIENCE USING WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR. I purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator in July 2013 (Model - Whirlpool Ref New 495 CLUB IMPERIA). Suddenly it stopped working on May 12 and I registered a compliant to the customer care. Engineer came in same and I was surprised by the service, he checked and said he rectified the problem and he left. But the problem was still there and it was never rectified. I launched the complaint again on May 13 and engineer came again and said there is gas problem in Compressor and he left by saying that another engineer will come to refill the gas in compressor. Next day new engineer came in he checked everything and said this compressor is not working and needs to be replaced. I said go ahead and replace it, he said it will take 1-2 days. I said “ok lets do it.” But now theyre saying that they do not have the compressor in stock and they will change the appliance. Again as I do not have another option I said “ok lets do it.”Now the drama start: they are saying I need to pay 20% as a depreciation of the total cost of the refrigerator + INR 1000/- (Cartage) + difference of the new refrigerator which comes to around INR 21,000/-. Well can someone tell me why I need to pay this huge amount when my appliance is still in 10 years of warranty and its just compressor problem and rest of the product is just fine. After fighting with them come to a conclusion that I need pay INR 10,200/- and I will get the new appliance. Now when I already paid the DEMAND DRAFT (DD) of this amount now no one is responding to me on when I will be getting a delivery of the new Refrigerator. Only God knows when I will be getting this. In this HOT summer we are facing a lot of issues just because of their bad service. No one from Customer Care is giving me any response nor are they taking my calls now.Now can someone tell me what I should do? I am left with no option and thinking of taking a legal action against them and thinking of launching a complaint in Consumer Court against them. Please give me your suggestions and send me your response at **. If anyone from WHIRLPOOL is look into this, please help on this matter urgently and respond me back ASAP.

Purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher less than 2 years ago, began noticing a mildew buildup inside. Cleaned it, and bought dishwasher cleaner products, but the problem continued. Realized the dishwasher heater was not working. The dishwasher was staying wet, therefore causing mold. Called appliance repair, and spent 3/4 of the price of the 2 year old dishwasher to repair it. The control box malfunctioned. I was told by the repairman that that was unusual. At the suggestion of the repairman called Whirlpool. I was told since it was beyond the 1 year warranty they will comp us nothing. As a consumer I have no other recourse but to warn others, and to never buy a Whirlpool product again!

Bought my 5 door refrigerator from Lowes in December 2016. Was delivered in January. Had a dent in the door so another new one was ordered that arrived in late January. From day one the dual ice makers have not made enough ice for our family. I called Lowes to have it checked out thru warranty. The repairman came out and said Its making ice. I cant fix something that is not broke. He suggest I buy a under the counter ice maker. What the heck! I pay over $3000.00 For dual ice makers and still dont have enough ice to supply my family. Cant believe Whirlpool puts out a dual ice maker in a refrigerator and it cant even supply a family of 5. The repairman said a normal family size is 3. I dont know where he came from but to me thats not normal. He was from Tutor Appliance Repair and was very rude until he realized he pissed me off then he blamed it on Whirlpool. The refrigerator is beautiful but Id rather have my old one. It made more ice than this new one does. Will I buy whirlpool again? No I wouldnt. If they cant stand behind their product and what its suppose to do then I dont need it. Bad thing I have to deal with this one for a while until I can purchase a new and better one. Bought a Whirlpool refrigerator December 2011, it is now 3 yrs. old, keeps shutting itself off. There is nothing under the troubleshooting area of the instructions for this. I called Whirlpool, they said I have to pay a tech to come here and troubleshoot. The warranty is 1 years, so after paying over 1k for an appliance, that gets you 1 year! I try to support American made, but no more Whirlpools here! I have all Whirlpool appliances, but Im guessing they wont last either. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service.

Washing clothes is a nightmare. I am constantly removing clothing from the washing machine that have been torn and left with holes. I am utterly frustrated. Because the machine is more than three years old, there has been no solution to my problem. I have now replaced clothing items in excess of $2,000. I am always here that they will send a repairman and yet there is still the problem. This machine is costing me too much money. The newer machines have fixed the problem. There is no gap between the drum and the doorway or rubber piece. I want that piece to stop this nightmare. This machine has taken a dream of mine and demolished the experience. I hate washing clothes but more so having a machine at home and then going to the laundromat to stop the chaos with doing laundry at home.

Started researching online about a week ago because my dryer was making an awful noise. Found out that the new idler pulley system the company used in my Whirlpool cabrio washer & dryer model (WED5500XW0) was so ineffective that they have since started replacing it with the old part #691366 they used to use. Also I am having a problem with my washer not spinning all of the water out of the clothes. Found out that this is a common problem with this model (WTW5500XW0).Had a certified repairman out to replace the dryer idler pulley system. He also calibrated the washer to see if that may help (it did not). The repairman said that some of the Whirlpool washers had been recalled and he had actually replaced some control panels and that seemed to work. He suggested that I contact Whirlpool. So I contacted Whirlpool, thinking that they obviously knew that there have been many problems with these machines (idler pulley part being discontinued & and recall on SOME models), and thought they would be more than willing to rectify this problem. Well think again! The two young ladies that I spoke with sounded like robots, Unfortunately, you are not within your 1 year manufacturers warranty so there would be nothing we could do at this time. Although I must tell you, the second young lady I spoke with did offer to sell me a new washer at a deep discounted price of $386 (which is only $86 more than fixing the washer). I think everyone who has a problem should contact Whirlpool and express this dissatisfaction. And if you are shopping for a washer and dryer, stay away from Whirlpool because their customer service is disheartening.

Bought a Whirlpool Cabrio. Noticed it was getting really loud less than a year into owning it. Called while it was under warranty. The tech said it was fine. Within the next year and a half it got so loud, you cant hear anything else in the house while it is running. Now it is leaking from the tub seals and the bearings are going out according to two service techs I have had come look at it. They say it is more expensive to fix than the washer is even worth. This is due to the parts that would be used to fix it are the same cheap Whirlpool parts that were put in it in the first place. They both said that these are not good washers and commonly go out about a year and half to three years old. Shame on Whirlpool for making such a low quality product and not being willing to do anything about it.

I bought a new Whirlpool gas hot water 40 gal tank from Lowes. I Installed it, but the pilot light would not light. So Cal Gas Co came out and said they did not like the new design, but that was how they were now making them. Gas is shot out from a pipe into the tank, however its fairly open. The pilot ignitor is similar to the one on barbarques that often do not last. You cannot get to it to light it manually. Several calls were made to Whirlpool and they sent a repair man out to fix it. You can imagine buying a new hot water heater and having it work part time. The repair man explained that the unit needed a new thermopile, but he could not put one on until whirlpool authorized it, which they would not. After a rather heated conversation with whirlpool they agreed to FedEx a part overnight. Of course the repairman could not wait for me to call and had to come back again. The pilot light still does not stay lit, and Whirlpool now wants to talk about how the tank is vented. This has nothing to do with the pilot light, nor did putting in a new 1/2 gas line and valve as per Whirlpools request. Whirlpool has a problem and they refuse to acknowledge it. However, it is Lowes that chose to buy from whirlpool and they do little if anything to stand behind their product and gain consumer confidence. My suggestion would be dont buy whirlpool, and shop at Home Depot.

On Dec 18, 2015, my hot water heater located in my garage started spewing water out into my garage, driveway, and into the street. I called Lowes, whom I purchased the water heater in Jan 2011, in which it was still under warranty. I was told to call (Whirlpool) 877 817 6750, the order was placed for a gas shut out valve after going through a check system. I was then given the names of two local preferred technicians to repair water heater, whom was not available. The representative from Whirlpool (American water heater) told me I can get the plumber of my choice, authorization number was given. I had to call the (Whirlpool) (American Water Heater) back and was told the part was ordered 2 times. The first part will come on Dec 19, 2015 by UPS, and that the second part will come on Dec 21 by UPS, that a prepackaged label for return will be attached, and to tape the 2 boxes together to send back to the company--one box with the old part, and one box with the new. So, I sent the boxes to an address in Junction City, Tn. But I was not sent prepaid label, so I kept by word and spent $14. I will not be reimbursed according to American Water in which I followed their directions to a tee. So the walk away, the customer is always wrong, staff is not being trained the right way, and as a customer I am out of money and making adjustments to the way of customer service. No service. Just a waste of time, effort, and money.

My review merely echoes the other 1-star reviews Ive read below, but Im including it anyway. We bought the Whirlpool Cabrio from Lowes in 2013. Two weeks ago, a mere five years after purchase and shortly after our warranty expired, it broke. It kept showing the UL code and took multiple cycles to wash the clothes. Unacceptable. We called the technician; he came out; told us it was the bearing that busted; and quoted us $800 to fix it (I noticed below another customer was quoted $400 for the same issue). We told the technician thanks but no thanks and purchased a $450 Samsung washer. Our family will never purchase any Whirlpool product again. From their customer service to the performance of their machines-- its all very much lacking.

My fridge is less than a year old. Ive had issues with the part where the ice comes out to fill the trays. Now, I have no ice at all!! My product is less than a year old and this will be the third time Ive had to have someone out to fix it. I called corporate to ask them to stand by their product and ask them at what point they would just replace the whole fridge! The girl I spoke to never once said, Im sorry for your inconvenience! I now have to go without ice for a whole weekend and again wait around from 1-5 p.m. in Arizona with four kids to have ice!!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!

Whirlpool WRT351SFYW 21.1 cu.ft. White Top Freezer Refrigerator - Energy... Puts out a very irritating high pitch noise, unlike my previous Whirlpool Refrig. The old one was perfectly quiet. I believe Whirlpool is going down hill in every way. WP is buying refrigerators from 3rd world countries and slapping the name on them. The delivery people were very rude with me when I was unable to give them a tip, even though I had to supply my truck to shuttle the refrig. up to my house and help them unload it. I also had to go and find them when they would not follow my directions to my house. So, they kept the wrench I loaned them; they did not have their own tools for the installation. And they refused to return it when I asked them to do so. Denvers customer service refused to respond in any way to my requests for information or complaints about the noise and delivery. Finally, their head office contacted me a month or two later, and the customer service person had initiated the discussion in argumentative attitude despite my saying I did not care anymore. I gave up on them and dont expect anything from Whirlpool anymore. While she told me that there are standard levels of acceptable noise that come from their refrigerator, she refused to acknowledge that they are not my standards, and I am the customer. Besides, I had an older Whirlpool refrig. that did not make any noise. I am sorry trusted WP. When I tried to upgrade the old refrig. - it was an expensive downgrade! Buy LG or Amana - wished I did!

First one had major problems. The bladder they call it. They took out the whole system out, replaced the tube that goes to the top of the refrigerator which is where it always starts leaking so they worked on it three times, junked it, gave me a new one and here I am again same thing. Ruined my hardwood floor and Im stuck with it. Never again will I buy WHIRLPOOL.

I have a Whirlpool Gas Water Heater, product #0733136, that was installed in 2010. The pilot has repeatedly gone out and had to be re-lit. After reading some of the comments, I am amazed that other people were told to verify gas supply with the gas company (done) and clean the air intake (done) and then to call customer service and be told to do the intake cleaning again (done professionally six days ago). I will never buy another Whirlpool appliance, and fortunately, I am in property management and can advise others to avoid this company as well. I am extremely disappointed in Lowes for not doing a better job of providing reliable choices for their customers especially after these many complaints over the years. I have decided to replace the water heater with another brand immediately.

French door style leaking water on the floor. Is Whirlpool covering the repair?

This is about my Whirlpool washing machine that has abruptly stopped working. My Whirlpool washing machine was bought in 2013 and was running [absolutely] great until Tuesday October 3, 2017. I called customer service and they said it was out of warranty. My Whirlpool washing machine model number is: WTW48008Q0. Serial number is: C34923747. I do not have the money to get this machine fixed. I am already a struggling mom, working hard to pay bills and I am already falling behind on most of them. I just had death in my family and now the machine dies - well there seems to be no end to all of this. I would really appreciate Whirlpools help in getting my machine up and running again. I have been a loyal Whirlpool customer over the span of more than two decades. I am a Whirlpool fan. My past machines have lasted 12 plus years on upwards to 15 years each.Let me share exactly what my washing machine is doing: I went to wash clothes as usual the other day; the machine filled up and stopped abruptly - that was it! It did not spin but instead emptied the water without washing the clothes and made some loud chitty chitty bang bang noises before it was all over. I unplugged it after wasting a lot more water thinking that it might just suddenly start working. It did not start working again, it just continued its non-working status.My family has bought Whirlpool washing machines and dryers for years from Sears; we were totally satisfied with the products we purchased, however, this washing machine did not make the five year mark. I really do not know what is going on with the machine; what I do know is this - it stopped working and I would like to get it working again. Hopefully it is not defective by design. #WhirlpoolWasherDefectiveByDesign. I found Whirlpool washing machines to be very reliable and would love to continue my great relationship with Whirlpool.

I purchased new dishwasher, range, microwave, refrigerator, washer and dryer 16 months ago. I have had problems with everything except the dryer! Lowes even traded my washer in for another because it could not be fixed.

Washer is very mobile. Dryer does not dry. Refrigerator temp is never correct. After reading complaints, I firmly believe you know what the consequences of your products. I would never recommend Whirlpool again. I have used Whirlpool products since 1970 and always had good appliances. Your new products are worthless and you are spending more money on legal protection and lobbying than making a worthy product that actually cleans clothes and cools food. You are charging thousands of dollars for a worthless product and paying thousands of dollars for legal protection with warranties written to excuse your worthless product. Put your money on improving your products.

I purchased a gas range with JDR8895 last 09/06/2007 at Home Depot in Metro Denver for approximately $1700.00. I will make my final payment on my Home Depot account next month. I was preparing dinner last September 10, 2011. I had the pans on the cooktop, one on the right rear and one on the left front burners. This was the set up because the right front burner has stopped working some time ago. Both burners were on a low setting as I was simmering pasta sauce and just warming water as I was later going to boil it for the noodles. I was in my living room when I started to smell something odd. When I approached my kitchen, there was a fire coming from the rear of the cooktop and beneath the three burner knobs. It smelled like an electrical fire. I immediately turned off the burners with my hand wrapped in a towel and started putting out the fire by hitting it with the towel and blowing. The towel caught on fire. I grabbed my fire extinguisher and was ready to spray when finally, it looked like it burned out. The smell in my home is terrible, when I tried to test the lower burner it looked like it was catching on fire underneath the knob as well, so i immediately turned it off and batted it with a towel. Im not sure what happened here. I will make my final payment on this range next month and had the previous range in here since 1977 and that still worked fine. I spent a small fortune on this Jenn-Air, only to have it catch on fire that could have potentially burned my house down.On various web sites including consumer affairs, JDR8895 has many reports of fires. If this is a known problem, why has it not been addressed as a recall? My 9-year old was making soup the day before while I was in the living room. This could of easily happened to her! It is a very dangerous situation to put your consumers in!Whirlpool Corporation contacted the appliance repair company, Columbine Appliances, to inform them that they would only be covering the cost of their visit and not the cost of the parts to be replaced in the range (the ones that caught on fire). Through Columbine Appliance, Whirlpool wanted to inform me that this is not a safety hazard and that it was my fault as I got water in the control knobs. This is not true. If I did, I was not aware and was unable to find any literature about that being a safety hazard or that it could cause a fire. I have found and have forwarded to the CPSC many instances of this exact problem, often when the range was not even in use and are happening to other consumers. I am working on combining the data, contacting the other consumers and have since refused service on the range by Columbine Appliances. Whirlpool only tried to contact me after I left them a message regarding the status of the range and that I had no interest in paying for what I viewed as a defect in their range and a safety hazard. I found a news story of this range going up in flames. Its unbelievable that this company continues to stand behind this product and blame these fires on the consumers actions. I am disabled and have an oxygen machine in my home. I have no desire to have this unit catch on fire again and potentially die, especially since water does, on occasion, end up on cooktops. A disaster from start to finish. I would give it zero stars if possible. Purchased from Home Depot online in September, 2020. The first delivery was scheduled for October 11, 2020 at 7am on a Sunday. I spent hours on the phone trying to get the time changed. I was assured it would take place later. That didnt happen. The delivery service Temco called at 6:30a and refused to come back later. I had to make a new appointment. A week later they delivered the dishwasher, left it on the porch, refused to uncrate it or bring it inside the house, refused to haul away the old machine and stole the Dishwasher parts kit that I had paid for which delayed installing the dishwasher. After the machine was installed I discovered the machine did not come with a manual. I was told I had to download and print the manual.When I complained that I should not have to use my paper and ink to print a users manual after paying $800 for a dishwasher. I was promised a check to offset my costs. I was supposed to get a credit for my inconvenience but that never happened either. The first time I ran the machine using the one hour cycle water was all over the machine and I had to dry inside. I was told that I had to use a longer wash cycle so I did the second time. After 4 hours of washing, the glasses had a film on them, even though I rinse the dishes before putting them in the machine the dishes had some debris on them and water had still collected on the top of the glasses.Whirlpool sent a repair company out and the technician said motor pump and display control were faulty and it would probably be cheaper to replace the dishwasher rather than repair it. I was told I would get an email the next day telling me what would happen. I never got the email. During the week I called Whirlpool and Home Depot many times to complain about the faulty dishwasher, stolen parts and the promised refunds for my inconvenience as well as having to print the manual. Calling Whirlpool or Home Depot customer care will take hours and gets you nowhere. A week after the repair person came out I called the repair company to request a report as to what had been done and was told that they were coming back out the following Monday to fix the machine again. Monday, The repair technician came out and replaced the control panel but not the pump. The machine wont heat up to dry the dishes--the heating coil wasnt even warm after being on for 8 min. I am supposed to be contacted again for a 3rd visit!! I have a dishwasher that is faulty (read lemon) and Home Depot wont allow me to return it because their return policy is 48 hours after delivery. Whirlpool refuses to replace it unless the technician says it cant be fixed. Obviously, that will never happen. I should have repaired my old dishwasher rather than waste my money on this horrible machine. Whirlpool used to make fine products but those days are over. How does running a dishwasher for four hours saving energy? My old over 10 year old Whirlpool dishwasher was perfect until the pump broke. The dishes were always clean, dry and came out of the machine hot and sanitized. I am so disappointed in both Whirlpool and Home Depot.

This aqua clean is garbage. Had Whirlpool with heat clean perfect. Now have to clean my oven with self cleaning over easy off. I am so disappointed. I always thought of Whirlpool as a good choice. And have bought Whirlpool before. But not after this. Bad, real bad.

We have a Whirlpool Refrigerator, Model # ED5HHEXTQ00. And every shelf has cracked, the water and ice dispensing levers have broken off. Now our produce trays are broken as well. I do not recommend Whirlpool products to anyone. They will not stand behind their product! There is obviously a problem with the plastic used on the shelves and trays. I have read of others complaining of the same issues!Whirlpool! You need to step up to the plate and recall these shelves, and replace them for your customers!

I have had my refrigerator for more than 10 years. It is a standard refrigerator with no extras and I have never had any problems with it. I think things that dont have too many extra built into them are better with not so many things to break down.

The new? improved model with NO center agitator is the worst - clothes tangle badly and the load becomes very unbalanced, wobbly and noisy. How I got talked into this model by a Sears salespeople was a big mistake!!!

The machine Will Not Clean the Clothes. Had to Buy A Maytag Washer.

Whirlpool Cabrio Top Load, Short Agitator to protect clothing, cost reasonable, on sale $800.00 both (Aug. 2013) - Sears credit no interest. Moved, and had to sell after a year, but I anticipated a long life r/t rating/reviews online. One Problem: no setting to soak clothing that may need it. I bought the largest Whirlpool Cabrio to make sure my Queen bedspread (heavy blanket type fur on one side) would fit. Because of the short agitator I could have bought the smaller one I discovered. I could fit 6 regular side and 4 beach heavy beach size towels in it easily, or two Queen quilts in at a time. I rarely needed an Xlg water setting. The dryer had a steam only setting but I never tried it because it was set up in the apartment when I arrived and the delivery people were not very bright. Put the Dryer farthest from the vent, washer farthest from faucets, and put hot and cold hoses on opposite spigots. I did not want to chance they set up the steam section wrong, as well. I moved across country 1 year later, but have trust the W/D would do well. My last Sears brand (made by Whirlpool) only had one minor problem (on warranty) and lasted a good 8-10 years before moving and selling them to another couple. They were still in wonderful working order (front loader).

I purchased a brand new Whirlpool Cabrio Washer from Sears less than 5 years ago and am junking it! It has all the same problems everyone else has mentioned. I have had it serviced for faulty motherboard, unbalanced tub, broken lock mechanism. It had rusted out on the inside. Clothes are never clean and it constantly becomes unbalanced in spin cycle. We have to stop and rebalance every single load 3 or 4 times--or more if trying to wash a set of sheets or two or more towels. Cant leave the machine unattended for even a few minutes. I might as well be hand washing on a scrub board at the edge of a river! Waste of money and Whirlpool Customer Service wont say anything but should have purchased extended warranty! What a load of crap from what was once a reputable company that used to make a reliable product. WARNING--NEVER BUY A WHIRLPOOL WASHING MACHINE!!!!!
