This is an EXTREMELY dangerous range. The burner knobs leak - turn on with just a bump and leak gas. Any slight movement causes the knob to move and allows the gas to leak before the igniter ignites the gas. Has happened THREE times!!!! Has this product been recalled???

Absolutely the worst hot water heater I have ever owned. Broke within first year which Whirlpool sent me a replacement valve assy which I had to install myself. That one failed in 3 month and unit was out of warranty so I received no help from Whirlpool. Had a serviceman fix it again and it failed again. So I ended trashing the unit. I would not buy another Whirlpool product as long as I live. The last 5 appliances I purchased from Whirlpool all failed within a few months after warranty expired. This is no joke. Everything they sell is farmed out to other countries than the US and the workmanship and quality is the worst I have ever seen. The service people are nice when they tell you that they cant help you with your problem. Dont waste another dime on Whirlpool! Very bad product.

Cabrio washer broken lid, asked WP to fix warranty. They offered $250 off $500 Amana washer. Said just send me the new lid that would cost me $210. They said no. I have bought Whirlpool washer (small size) and dryer less than 2 years ago. The washer started to develop an error f6, as it shown. Finally, machine could not work as far as warranty was expired. The Sears technician made very quick overlook and told that probably engine was gone and advised to buy a new machine, as repairing parts are not available in Canada. He charged me 96 dollars for that.

Whirlpool wrf560seyw00 refrigerator plastic tasting water - Purchased 22 months ago. Did not think a warranty was necessary. Even if I had a warranty, they say they wouldnt have paid on the claim. I called Whirlpool asking for a one time goodwill policy adjustment considering Ive outfitted my home in all new Maytag/Whirlpool appliances over the past 3 years. In a nutshell, their plastic water lines to the dispenser in my fridge are deteriorating. There are plastic floaters and a horrible plastic smell and taste. You cannot drink it. First, they blame the filter mixing with the chlorine from my city water (go ahead and laugh... because thats just nuts) and when I told them I removed the filter two weeks ago and there are floaters in the water, they said my water still was to blame. Heres a thought... Dont use cheap plastic lines when you sell someone an expensive appliance! Is it really that difficult to offer a quality product? This is a smaller three-door unit (French on top w/ bottom freezer). There is no water holding tank because its small and we have a copper supply line. My neighbors dont have trouble with theirs either. I may be female but Im not an idiot. Maytag/Whirlpool corporation has lost a loyal 20 plus year customer.

We bought a Cabrio washer less than three years ago. I have never felt that it got my clothes clean. The washer recently stopped spinning and agitating. We were told by a very experienced repair technician today that the gear case and bearings in the tub need to be replaced at a cost of $700.00. Needless to say, I am very upset. I called the Whirlpool Company and after being on hold for almost 15 minutes, I was told that my washer is too old to qualify for any help with repair cost or part replacement. My household consists of two adults. We do on average three loads a week. This is an inferior appliance and after this experience I will never purchase another Whirlpool product.

I bought the most deluxe and expensive washer and dryer I have ever owned. It is a Whirlpool Cabrio. The clothes come out of the washer dry, and all tangled up. I bought it new from Sears on July 2009. Now only two years old, and the washer sounds like a jet plane. I paid a repairman $90.00 only to be told this is common in this machine. The repair is expensive, and I would be better off buying a new one! I owned a cheap, little GE washer, which cost me $300; ten years, and never had a problem. Now my dream machine turned out to be a piece of crap. I will never buy a Whirlpool again!

Just bought this washer, its making a lot of noise, sounds like something is grinding (metal, gears, etc). I thought Whirlpool was suppose to be good. I just had my Maytag go out after 18 years of service, thought about getting another Maytag but found out Whirlpool makes those. As many complaint as I see, seems there needs to be a class action lawsuit against Whirlpool for shoddy work.

This refrigerator is less than 1 yr. Old and this repair will be the FOURTH. The severe lack of craftsmanship and customer service is shocking! Most states do not have lemon laws for appliances, however something needs to be done to compensate me for THE TIME and inconvenience this caused my family. Tried for several days to schedule service call for my leaking whirlpool ref/freezer. Waiting on hold to speak to a rep... transferred to another dept. - on hold again listening to a recording advising me of the unusual high volume of calls to call back at a later time (should have been my clue of all the problems with their product). I had three different Whirlpool phone numbers given to me from the reps I spoke with. I would like a refund for my extended warranty. I have called an independent service company and will pay for the repair. I will not buy or recommend Whirlpool or their products.

I spent the extra money and bought a very nice looking Whirlpool range and oven. Within months, it started rusting. I keep a meticulously clean kitchen and Ive never had this problem with any other appliance. I sent letters to no avail. They said that their warranty on rust was 30 days! They refused to do anything about it and told me to go ahead and sue them. Terrible product. Defective from the factory. Do not ever buy a Whirlpool product as they do not stand behind it.

Have a Whirlpool side-by-side with water and ice dispenser on the door. It has lasted over 20 years. It has a large ice maker which makes more than enough ice and it has never broken. Since it is older it does not have gallon depth shelves on the door, but I have never missed not having them there is plenty of internal shelf space.

We purchased an electric range model WFE371LVQ O in June 2010. This range is only used during the winter months in our vacation home. In January 2016 the oven turned on by itself. The control panel was replace. It happened again on 1/25/19. IT IS A FIRE HAZARD!! Thankfully we were home both times. The only way we got it to turn off was to flip the circuit breaker. If this would have happened when we werent home and a fire started and it killed our dogs I have no idea what I would do. Im not even attempting to have the control panel replaced again. Well be buying another brand. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE. The company must have known about the issue because when we called the first time it happened, which was several years PAST the warranty period, they didnt hesitate to do the repair free of charge.

This Whirlpool Water heater was purchased through Lowes on March 29, 2011. This past weekend, water started leaking out of the thermostat/natural gas control located on the side of the tank. I called a plumber to take a look. He stated that a new thermostat/natural gas control was needed. Although the tank has a 12 year warranty, this item does not. Whirlpool did agree to replace the part but would charge me $30 to overnight the item which still would have taken 4 days because of a weekend. To install the item would have cost me almost $500.00.To purchase a new Rheem Water heater was $999. I chose the second choice as the first choice would have still left me with a subpar water heater obviously already out of warranty. The reason for my review is that I saw the number of complaints on the failure of this part. When I purchased this water heater, it was the better model due to the 12 year tank warranty. What use is the tank warranty when the other items dont last? There should be some type of reimbursement but Im not holding my breath. Please buy a contractor grade water heater and not the cheaper models.

The refrigerator is not repairable according to 2 different servicemen. The refrigerator just stopped making ice and not cooling all of a sudden. The problem seems to be inside the panel between the refrigerator and freezer portion. Its a side by side. First time I ever bought Whirlpool Appliances. To make things worse my Whirlpool oven does not work either. Even worse, the Microwave pretty much popped and never worked again. A Whirlpool microwave. The only thing still working is the Whirlpool dishwasher but I wonder for how long. Ive talked to Whirlpool and they said I only had a 1 yr warranty and they could not help. I am writing to their corporate office to complain. I have an old Maytag refrigerator that still works and puts out ice in my garage. I went to look at Maytag appliances and just found out that in 2006 Whirlpool took over Maytag. So I will not ever, ever buy another Whirlpool or Maytag again.

This refrigerator well paid for itself. I had over 25 years and it was still in good working condition. I had to leave it behind. I moved to a place where fridge was already. A Whirlpool dishwasher was installed by Skyline, a modular home manufacturer, and we occupied the house on August 21, 2014. The appliance never worked and Whirlpool sent repairmen 9 times over 9 months to either repair or determine if it should be replaced. It washed the dishes exactly 4 times in that time. Complaining to Whirlpool only caused a supervisor to scream at my wife that we were the cause of the malfunction. Nearly every part was replaced & they still refused to exchange it for a replacement new one. The modular home manufacturer received the same treatment appealing for us.

We bought this Gold series refrigerator in 2013.. Less than a year we started having problems with rust on doors. It was so embarrassing people could see this. After that it was like one part after another, the motherboard, the ice on fridge, the ice maker. They changed the same part several times. Now April 2015 they say vapor cooling is not good and they have to put coolant and replace another kit.. Now we have to wait 1 week for that part. Meanwhile our food is going to go bad. Ive been calling for years about this lemon of a fridge. And the last time I spoke to somebody they say buy another fridge while youre waiting on the part to come out. Wow. This is literally driving my family insane.. I cant believe they just expect us to let this happen.. We paid about 2,500 for this lemon of a fridge.. Purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio WTW7340XW2 washer approx 2 years ago. The machine runs so loud on the spin cycle you cant have a phone conversation or hear the TV over it and is leaking grease from the bottom. My mistake to not purchase the extended warranty but you would think a machine would last more than 2 years. I contacted Whirlpool online and by mail and they do not stand behind their product. I did contact a local repair shop and by our phone conversation was told it would be approx 300-350 to fix it and Im not putting that kind of money into a repair. The first one told me that I have not been doing a good enough job of prewashing the dishes so the arms were clogged. While cleaning them, he broke the top arm. When he came back to replace the top arm, he added that the dishes were not drying because I didnt use enough jet dry so I would have to dry by hand, and that the arms were clogging because I didnt prewash well enough. I told him to leave and never come back. I called customer service and they sent out a new company.The rep today told me that even on time delay or overnight settings I must run the hot water prior to starting the unit. And that since the water wasnt hot enough; the undissolved detergent was clogging the spray arms. This was confirmed by your phone support person who told me that for best results thats what I had to do. The result I want is for the thing to wash dishes. It doesnt do that. The current rep ordered a heater, motor pump and spray arms. My previous dishwasher operated perfectly (until the pump failed) for the 18 years I have lived in this house plus however long it was here before I moved in. I will never buy a Whirlpool product or anything built by subsidiaries or parent AGAIN.

Whirlpool provides free replacement parts to repair this design problem but wont pay the service charges to repair their design problem. I purchased a KitchenAid french door style refrigerator (KBFS25EWMS10, SN K31902118) and it leaks water on the kitchen floor. At first I just mopped it up but later discovered they have a design problem in their drain system and water backs up into the freezer dept and eventually on to the floor. Customer Service provides free improved replacement parts for this design problem but wont pay the service charges to have the parts replaced. Simply put, Whirlpool/KitchenAid do not stand behind their product quality, instead they pass the problem and service charge cost for their design problem on to the consumer. Beware of this appliance supplier!

The washing machine is making inviolable noise. I had purchase a semi-auto Whirlpool washing machine from Lotus Koh-e-fiza, Bhopal two months ago. Initially, the company sent a man for demonstration, and at that time, the machine was making a sound and the mechanic removed his back plate and his components and saw that the plate of heating rod is unscrewed. He temporarily tightened that plate with normal screw, and after two months, the same sound is coming again.At present, we are not using the product for the past 5 days and launched a complaint to customer care. The call attender said that the problem will be solved in 20 hours but no one came within 4 days. Today, 21 September 2011, I called to customer care. He was telling me that the complaint has been attended by our attender and at present, no complaint is pending. The washing machine is in warranty period and I am not satisfied with the service of Whirlpool. At present, I am using the product of Godrej and LG, and the service of both company is very good then Whirlpool.

I purchased a Whirlpool Duet HE front end loading washing machine. Less than two years after purchase, the machines tub and bearings failed amounting to a repair bill of $1035.00. Fortunately for me, or so I thought, I purchased an extended warranty for the machine. However, even though the complaint department was aware of the failure, the amount of the repair and the fact that I declined repair and was opting for the $500 reimbursement option, I was told that the claim, as it was called, would take 2-3 business days to process and if I was awarded (his words) the reimbursement, I could only use this money on a new machine at a Sears store and not on any new, but previous year model, or at a Sears outlet. None of these things were related to me when they took my $214.00 for the warranty. In all, my original washing machine of 22 months will have cost me $1414.00. My new washing machine, if awarded one, will cost approximately $400. The total cost to wash clothes for 10 months will exceed $1,800.00. Do not purchase Whirlpool front end loaders because the drum bearings will break (that is why they exclude them from extended warranties) and do not buy extended warranties as Sears makes out in the end.

2012 1st year water dispenser stuck, would not stop pouring water until I shut water valve off behind refrigerator. Replaced switch under warranty. 1st year bottom mount freezer stopped working, replaced condenser under warranty. Handle coming off freezer door not replaced. Today Nov 5th past warranty date Oct. 21st 2012. There is ice buildup in bottom of freezer due to a duckbill valve that I just found out about... This is junk and I already replaced the washing machine. Now I am going to replace this fridge if I have to have money to fix this out of pocket. Dont buy whirlpool and i think they make the same thing under other brands like Kitchenaid. My fridge was registered with whirlpool and no one contacted me from whirlpool about the problem they were aware of, to tell me that the valve is free and labor was free for first two years. Now only part is free. What a rip off. My appliances were part of the purchase price of a new home from a developer.

In September 2011, we purchased a Cabrio Washer and Dryer. Both appliances are extremely inferior. My first complaint to Whirlpool was in reference to the dryer. It kept overheating to the point that you couldnt even touch the clothes. In doing research I found this was a common problem and in some cases, even caused fires. After finding this out and contacting Whirlpool to complain and see if there were any recalls, they indicated they knew nothing about the problem and recalls would have to come from their legal department. I asked to speak with someone in that department and was told that was not possible. We threw the machine away and purchased a new no frills dryer. Now the washer has totally died. It would make noises, lockup, not spin, not clean, etc. Basically all the complaints other consumers have listed. It is now on the curb and I will again have a purchase a new washer. The Whirlpool refrigerator I bought at the same time is a whole other story. Please do not buy Whirlpool. When contacted they show no empathy or concern about the inferiority of their products. There are only the 2 of us now and we do laundry one time a week. It amazes me how much money I am out between the initial purchases, repairs, and replacements. My daughter has also had the bad luck of purchasing Whirlpool appliances and is now experiencing the same problems. Get the word out to all of your friends to NEVER purchase Whirlpool. They are apparently only concerned with their profits and not making good products or caring about their consumers problems. I made a very expensive mistake and will never purchase their products again. I have made them aware that I would be placing my review on your website along with the other 1,690 complaints. I have all my documentation re purchases, repairs, replacements and emails sent to Whirlpool. Unfortunately I cannot document all the calls made to this company. I bought the Whirlpool WTW 5000DW1 washer and dryer to go with it. Within the first 2 weeks the plastic handle broke on the dryer. Ive been using the corner of the plastic handle ever since to open the dryer. The washer is the worst washer I have ever purchased in my life. The tub doesnt fill up over the clothes half the time. It is perfectly balanced on the floor but it always bounces around and you cannot open it to rearrange the clothes because they lock the lid. The only option is to try to hold it and wait for it to finish or start over by pressing the button for at least 3 seconds. I have had a few items get shredded by it and a lot of times the clothes dont get cleaned and rinsed properly. Even on 2 rinse option. Just the fact that it has a 2 rinse option is a big red flag. It is supposed to be a energy saver and water saver but that isnt true. If you have to wash and rinse the clothes twice because it has spots from the detergent still on the sheets, something just isnt right. Whirlpool shouldnt even put a product like this on the market. I have owned many Whirlpool products before this but this is the last Whirlpool product I will ever buy. Obviously Whirlpool doesnt test its products or care about quality.

We bought a new stove from Lowes in 2015 which is a Whirlpool with an AquaLift self-cleaning function. This function is totally useless. We have tried it several times and it does not remove the grime from the oven. We did not even have a very dirty oven. It doesnt clean the sides at all and the bottom is still dirty. I complained to the store and they told me the AquaLift function should be used every time the oven has been used. They recommend that I use a spray for the oven (which is porcelain) and scrub off the dirt. Give me back my old self-cleaning oven with the high heat. This new technology doesnt work.

We purchased the pair a year ago and its been nothing but headaches. First of all, half the clothes dont even get wet. They say its high efficiency but I dont think theres any efficiency when it doesnt even wash them. Second, when it actually does wash them, it leaves detergent all over the clothes. Imagine your black dress pants with white bleach like streaks all over them. We called because we were under warranty and a repair man came out. Totally useless. Is there some other use for it Im unaware of?? He told us to try using deep water setting and extra rinse. So now we can wash 3 pair of socks at a time instead of one. This dishwasher is poorly constructed. I cannot use it now, as the top racks assemblies have both fallen apart and the rack will not hang. The bottom rack is functioning on 1 wheel assembly out of four. And the one that is functioning is a new one I put on it three weeks ago. The dishwasher is 2 years old. I am very disappointed in Whirlpool, and I will certainly not purchase another one when I buy a new dishwasher.

2 TOP of the line fridges in 3 years!!! First replaced by company CO after I contacted him with outrage as fridge was nonrepairable at 1.2 years of life. Second diagnosed with similar same issue less than 2 years later on same model fridge. What a horrible machine! From the day that it was installed not one time it gave me good cleaning. I spent so much money servicing it. Costed me over $700! I am done putting money into it! I am washing by hand! If you want a dishwasher where you can hand wash and God forbid your rinse with the machine (you will have to rewash everything) then this is the machine for you!

I hate this washing machine (Whirlpool Cabriolet) with every ounce of my being. That may sound harsh when talking about a washing machine. But, I assure you it is warranted. I have owned many washers in my day. This machine came to me after a family member passed away. The machine was almost new and had not been used very much at all. I found out very quickly that in order to simply wash a load of laundry could take as much as four hours. Every time you go to do laundry you get continuous codes and alarms. So it is a series of trips up and down the stairs to reset the machine, try to equalize the balance, and in many cases I have to unplug the machine and reset it all together. I have researched it extensively. And I have followed the instructions in the manual and from online instructional videos trying to resolve the multiple issues. I cannot wait to get an average everyday washing machine that is not too smart for its own good. I hate, hate, hate this machine!!!

We purchased an Estate Washer for my 89-year-old mother in 2008. The paint has been peeling down to bare metal on the left top quarter from the corner down to the lid hinge for the past 2 years. I contacted customer service and was given probable causes, one of which was the washer might have gotten dusty! He said that could cause chipping. I reminded him the problem is peeling chunks, no chips, layers of paint. The warranty expired of course. The solution he offered was for me to buy paint from Whirlpool or Lowe’s, and paint it. I have had a Kenmore washer for 24 years. The paint is perfect, and it still runs great. I would never buy another Whirlpool product. The quality is atrocious.

I purchased a side-by-side Whirlpool fridge and the ice maker stopped working 2 weeks after I purchased it. The retailer said that I would have to go through Whirlpool to resolve the matter. This has gone on for almost six months now. Ive had two service companies do 7 service calls to fix the problem and today, the 8th service call was supposed to happen and the guy never showed up. The company has lied to me telling me that it will just be one more service call each and every time.I want my refrigerator exchanged for a new one. They are refusing to do so until each service call is completed. I think they sold me a lemon based on the fact that nobody seems to be able to fix the issue. I cant seem to get anywhere with Whirlpool at this point and dont feel that I should have to keep a product that never worked from the start. Help! Is there some kind of lemon law on appliances?

We purchased a Whirlpool gas range for $600 in Aug 2015.. On May 2015 the range had an internal board failure (F2E0) and the panel does not control the oven or other features. We found out the part ranged from $350-$400!! Plus service installation! The one year warranty of course ran out but I think this is an outrage to sell an appliance that has such a poor electronic part. I have read a few similar complaints as this is also a Frigidaire model as well.

I bought Whirlpool Dishwasher from Lowes. This is just 2 years old. Model number is WDTA50SAHZ. This is gently used Dishwasher. Suddenly it stopped working. After water fill up, dishwaher is not working. I thought whirlpool is superb brand. Now its waste brand. Do not buy whirlpool dishwasher.

I see that I am not the only one with the same pilot problem. I just purchased this new model that came out last summer. I bought my new water heater in September and just this past weekend, it messed up. I have not had it for 8 months. Whirlpool sent out a technician yesterday and he said the assembly is not good and the pilot would not light. Well they sent me a replacement part and they are coming out today to install it. The funny thing was that the technician said, Oh, these are hard to work with. We have a lot of problems with these models and they just came out last summer. Its the on that has the little box and you push the pilot button in and hold it until the red light comes on. Anyway, he said he didnt carry parts for that one, only the old ones which last longer. The ones that have the black round circle that looks like a thermostat. I said, Really? Well the reason I bought this water heater is because my last one that I bought 2 years ago kept having the same issue. Whirlpool sent me the assembly with the pilot and all 3 times and would never replace it. I got tired of it always messing up so after having it for 2 years, we just dumped it and went and bought this new model. Here we are 8 months since we bought it and the same thing is happening. I am so furious. I am pissed off that they dont recall these if they are defective. Why do they keep selling them if people have problems? My cousin called me a couple of months ago and asked if my husband could check her water heater and its the same type I had and it was doing the same thing. I will never buy another Whirlpool water heater again.

We purchased the WRX988SIBM00, delivered 6-26-14. Immediately upon plugging it in, we noticed a seemingly loud hum to it. Thought maybe it would go away once the fridge cooled off, but the hum continues. SO sad because I love the features.

Purchased the Cabrio top loading washer and dryer. Huge mistake. The clothes come out of the washer a tangled wrinkle mess. Have tried different cycles and water levels to no avail. Dark clothes have detergent streaks and lint. The dryer has a steam refresh cycle which Ive used to try and remove some of the wrinkles caused to no avail. Clothes come out with water spots. Ive only owned this dual for about 6 months. Take my advice and DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

Bought this Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine 4 years ago not knowing it was a low level water washing machine. A man would have had to design this piece of crap. Not only does it not clean the clothes because the agitation on it is as slow as sloth. On top of that the clothes tie themselves in a knot when finished. If you don’t want the frustration of clothes washing, I would highly recommend you not buy this type, if you enjoy cussing then this machine is for you.

All JUNK!! Replaced all new within the last two years. The washer I replaced was twenty + years and was still working fine was just upgrading, big mistake! Washer is sounding like it is going to walk out the door. Replaced dishwasher after twenty years and the new one was leaking within one year and recently got replaced. I bought a Whirlpool Duet Front Load Washer in 2008 and it began showing F71 and F70 error code in 2011. I paid approximately $1,000 for the machine. The washer wont finish the cycles and often wont start. When I press the power button, I hear the 3 beeps and after a while, shows the F71 error over and over. The information I gathered online indicates that many people have the same problem. The repair cost is at least $550 to replace the user interface circuit board and is no guarantee. This is ridiculous.How could GE sell consumers this kind of junk that fails to work only after 2 years. I had a top loader for 12 years with no problems, not a single repair call. My wife and I are extremely frustrated with piles of dirty clothes and no washer to clean them. I want GE to refund the cost of the washer on a 10-year prorated basis. This is only fair.

My Gold Series Whirlpool Electric Range is 3 years old. The main board for driving the burners, oven, etc burned up which caused my oven to go from the 200 degree setting to 450 in about 3 minutes burning everything that was in the oven. They want $400.00 + installation to replace it and that is if one can be found to actually install. The stove was purchased for $850.00 because of the Brand and now they want half that value to replace a board that will likely fry again in a year or two. I find there is no value for money and will not ever buy a Whirlpool brand again.

I bought a 50 Gallon Whirlpool Gas Water Heater with an extended warranty from Lowes, it has not been delivering hot water as it should. I checked with Lowes and they told me I needed to call Whirlpool first and get a number from them before they could do anything. I called Whirlpool and they had me do a water volume and a hot water time test. By their own time test guide, my water temperature fell 30 degrees in 13 minutes and 52 seconds, when it should not have dropped 30 degrees until 18 minutes. When I reported this to Whirlpool I was told that there was nothing wrong with the water heater. I then lodged a complaint with the representative but it sounds as if nothing was going to be done.So I am out $999 for a faulty water heater and an extended warranty. Will update if anything changes. One of the reasons we bought this product was it said: MADE IN AMERICA. We wont buy any product made by Whirlpool again, We feel they dont stand behind their product.

I purchased it new in July 2008 for $550, a single homeowner average 4-5 loads a week. First time it broke down, it was just inside the one-year limited warranty. It broke down again Sept. 2011, the basket separated from spinning mechanism. I learned that after $75+ missing day of work, repair tech quoted cost of repair $885 and a minimum of 10 days waiting for part to arrive.I called Whirlpool, the guy on the phone was nice but told me I was out of luck. Even if I had purchased the 3-year warranty, I would still be out of luck. The washer was manufactured in April 2008. What a piece of junk. Save your money and skip it. I wish I had. Aside: Whirlpool, whatever happened to standing behind your products? I used to think you were a quality brand. Im extremely disappointed and wont be purchasing any of your products in the future.

I have Whirlpool 25 in. Side by side. I love the space freezer size is bigger than the old one I had. Makes ice as it should. Overall solid appliance that I trust. I purchased this refrigerator a year ago after research.

Whirlpool Gold Convection Oven - I bought this new oven, cleaned it once. The bottom cracked where the spills had been. Since Id had it only two months, repair tried to say it was only cosmetic but had to replace it. Next time I cleaned the oven for multiple spills, (a year later) it cracked again, giving the bottom a shattered look where the spills were. I only cleaned it once and the bottom is ruined. I dont expect Whirlpool to stand behind this, but I agree these Convection Ovens require a Class Action Suit because they are selling faulty merchandise. Period.

Suddenly I get a person who sounds enthusiastic about customer service after a day of writing bad reviews on Lowes and Whirlpool sites and as many consumer review sites as I could find! I had even called Lowes corporate offices! A repairman is coming out tomorrow (after being told that one could not show up until September!) to check the NEW refrigerator that has frozen all of my produce and soften my frozen foods! I am 12 miles from the nearest town and took over half of my food for the month to the dumpster site today because it was spoiled. If you have a problem and no one has instructions to help you or is listening or even cares.....MAKE NOISE! IT WORKS. Know if your state has a consumer protection bureau through its government (usually Sec of State or Atty General offices).

Whirlpool/Ikea Renlig dishwasher - Since installing this integrated dishwasher it has continuously destroyed the decorative panel door. On my model (they have recently changed in 2014) the steam exits at the top, this damages whatever it comes into contact with it. Today they are saying that it has not been installed correctly and that it should actually sit out from the countertop, i.e. jut out from the rest of the kitchen so that the steam can vent into the room. The panel should also be lower than the other doors of the kitchen cabinetry too. Hardly integrated and would be a bloody eyesore. I am about to call them back again and inform them that I will be making a scene about this in my local Ikea and with anyone else who cares to listen.

I purchased a new home and then purchased 4 appliances, all Whirlpool Gold. In less than a year, the stoves electronic ignition and the microwave hood keypad went out. Since they were under warranty, a repairman replaced a bunch of parts and now they are working fine. One month after the refrigerator was out of warranty, the water line to the ice cube maker split about an inch and a half and water would spew out onto the hardwood floor under the unit. We were on vacation for all that month and didnt see any damage until one day there was a puddle in front of the refrigerator. When we pulled it out, we saw that the floor was ruined under the unit, the cabinet next to it black with mold and of course, the line had to be replaced. Whirlpool wasnt interested in the fact that the refrigerator had probably still been under warranty when the split occurred, only that we hadnt reported it before the warranty expired. Next to go was the water seal that goes on the inside of the door of the dishwasher. I was running it about a month after the refrigerator debacle and water came spewing out of the side. The seal had come out and nothing was stopping the water from exiting out the side of the door. Thats 4 for 4 in less than 15 months. I will never buy a Whirlpool product. They couldnt be any worse.

We purchased this Kitchen Aid stove December 7, 2016. I dont use the oven much, but have found that when it gets a little dirty and I use the Aqua Life function, it does not clean. Have tried by setting a pan of water in the bottom and raising the temperature to 300 degrees, but nothing cleans. We went with this feature to be more environmentally responsible. Leons, where we purchased the stove, claims that they have heard nothing of this issue and have not been informed of this by their head office.

I have a gas range Model WFG540HOESO Airlift self clean. When anyone reaches across or leans against the range, ever so slightly, the knobs turn and gas is released. It is EXTREMELY dangerous. The Airlift self clean has never worked. When the repairman contacted the technicians at Whirlpool, they told him that there was nothing they could do. In other words, I am stuck with an oven that will not self clean. The water in the bottom does not even come to a boil.

We bought this Whirlpool electric range in late July when our old stove literally blew up at breakfast. Unlike the local big stores, a small local store had this in stock. They assured us that the oven was self-cleaning. It is not self cleaning. It only cleans the bottom. We have spoken both to the local store and Whirlpool several times. The local store will do nothing. Whirlpool sent us a sponge and a plastic scraping stick. They told us to clean it BY HAND every time we used the oven and were very condescending. We are 75 and 77; we are not about to climb into an oven to attempt cleaning an oven that will not clean. Stay away from the Aqua Clean products like the plague. They do nothing, and Whirlpool will also do nothing. Next step -- court.

Whirlpool refrigerator WRT1LTZW00 - Bought refrigerator, works ok but makes noises that will wake you up in any room of the house. Had Whirlpool products for over 40 years. Why would someone make something that noises. Service came, said they all like that with new gas, cant do anything. Find hard to believe this was consumer tested. 6 weeks old, cant sleep with noise. Has anyone had same problem?

I bought a Whirlpool model GI7FVCXWY00 over and under refrigerator directly from Whirlpool through DirectBuy on April 19, 2010. The unit was a relatively high-end model (over $2,000) that came with a 12-month warranty. Thirteen months after purchase and 1 month after warranty expiration, the ice maker stopped working flooding the kitchen in the process. We called Whirlpool who recommended one of their authorized maintenance subcontractors (GuinCo) to appraise the problem. GuinCo came out, diagnosed that a valve in the ice maker had gone bad and the repair cost us $364. We chalked that up to Murphys Law (repair needed immediately after warranty expiration). Not 4 months later, the kitchen comes up flooded again and again and the ice makers not working. We call GuinCo, the repairman come out and said this time that its a heater and ice maker defect which will cost $643 to repair. He also said that the unit has been designated as having a design defect. We held off on the repair until we could contact Whirlpool for some remediation since it has become obvious that the unit is a lemon. I called Whirlpool, laid out the problems, timelines and potential cost (ice maker failures are going to cost us almost half of what the entire refrigerator cost before the unit is a year and a half old) and the only response they had netted out to was: Sorry, you should have had extended warranty. This is a prime example of an American manufacturer, marketing an inferior product and offering the customer nothing when the lack of quality becomes obvious. I will recommend to anyone I know to stay as far away from Whirlpool products as long as I live.

We purchased it from Best Buy. It was a good thing we got the extended warranty. They completely rebuilt it two times. In the 6 years we have had the washer. The motherboard went out. The bearings went out. The only thing nice I can say is that it’s a top loader and doesn’t get smelly like the front loaders do.

Bought a built in oven August 30, 2018. Oven stopped heating two weeks before Thanksgiving. Repairman fixed it. It is not working again, two weeks later. Bought from Best Buy. They will not take it back. Whirlpool will not replace it. UGH!!! $ 1,600 down the drain. Will no one help?

My Whirlpool Cabrio cannot wash sheets, blankets or any of this size. It balls up in the middle and form a bubble and only part of the items is washed and washing powders are trapped. I have purchased more sheets in the past 4 years than I have in the past 45 years of doing laundry, because the washing powders are not washed out. I wash on second rinse also, never fails and it still does not get all of it out. The clothing gets off balance if it was more than 3 small items. I have a leveling tool that I put on it often to make sure it is level. It’s something within the machine. I will never, never, never purchase any more Sears’ product. If anyone has jury-rigged this machine to work, please let me know. Sears has refused to help me, even today.

Yes, Whirlpool makes Maytag, Im still paying for this junk. Too much to go into detail. I had to bypass the crummy fuse system in the Bravo dryer and hook up my own 15amp automotive fuse in the dryer to keep it working. This after two lame under-contract Maytag repairmen replaced the dreaded board, which did nothing. The washer goes cabunk, cabunk, cabunk throughout the house and shuts down with an unlevel code (no matter how level the load is) every time it does its load during the spin cycle. The dishwasher handle broke off and had to use a screwdriver to pry the handle latch open, until realized it doesnt even lock anyway and just pulled the door open. Now, the dishwasher has this noise problem which means they designed it to allow pieces of debris to escape past the trap like my other dishwasher had that was easy to remove and clean. Do not, I repeat, do not pay the $3,500+ I paid for this junk. Go buy a Kenmore thats 15 years old off of Craigslist! Youll be better off and it will last longer.

I have an oven hood Whirlpool Microwave. Even though its more of a basic model it has worked terrific so far at about 5 years old. Only draw back is the extremely loud 4 beep alarm upon completion of warming up food. I actually cringe when it is about to go off especially early in the morning. Ours doesnt have the handy options button to turn it off. I have tried other combos with the buttons to see if they have it set up different but to no avail. Does anyone know if you can shut it off. The people who design these things must not have babies because they would think of this at nap time Im sure. Truly the sound this thing emits could wake the dead! I also had the fancy Whirlpool before like some folks mentioned about the handle and door frame cracking and disintegrating. Guess what, so did my parents, sisters, aunts and my neighbors. Definitely a major design flaw or faulty materials. My sister, mom got new doors and they began cracking again within a year!

GB2SHDXTS02 - Bought the Unit and an additional 4 yr protection plan. Shortly after the plan expired the plastic drip pan cracked and spilled water all over the laminate floor. It is still bucked from the water. Repairman came out and confirmed the crack, but we were without the refrig for a couple of weeks. Now the top doesnt cool, but the freezer does. Problem probably the defrost system, the fan, the control assy, or the thermistor, but I am too old to fix it myself. My fault for not checking ratings before I bought, but built in obsolescence is obvious here. Whirlpool used to be a good company, but I will never or will my family ever buy another appliance from them.

Refrigerator model # wrs325fdam04 - Refrigerator shelves and drawers are made of flimsy material. Water dispensed is never cold enough - almost at room temperature. Every six months one has to change the water filter cartridge, Filter1 w10295370a, which costs at least $49.99. Cheaper versions that cost 50-60% less, I have purchased and returned 2 different brands, are not compatible with this refrigerator. I do not recommend this refrigerator.

We bought a Whirlpool Refrigerator - Model ES5FHAXS in 2006. Right off the bat, a line in the back of the refrigerator was leaking. We paid for the repair. Next after just one year, the refrigerator would be warm and the freezer part ran super cold. The settings did not work. After much haggling with Whirlpool, they paid for someone to come out and repair it. It worked for several weeks then the same problem came back again. We argued with Whirlpool again and someone from AES or AAA came out. The problem was fixed but once again came back again after a couple months. We called Whirlpool again. This time was much haggling and arguing but got them to come out a third time. Once again, the problem was fixed but came back again after several months. The repair company stated that if they found it was something other than what they fixed, we would be charged. I said either it was not fixed right or the refrigerator is a total lemon. I said you will probably just say it is something else to cover your costs. Whirlpool acted like they did enough, even though 3 repairs could not get it right. If we paid or each repair ourselves, it would have been nearly the cost of the refrigerator and it still would not have worked. We bought a refrigerator back in 1992 and never had any problems after 16 years when we moved. The refrigerator was not cheap but could not do what refrigerators are supposed to do - keep things cold all the time. What a disappointment.

This refrigerator is a disaster. You will never be able to leave your home for any length of time for fear of a storm putting your electricity out which turns it off and if it DOES NOT TURN BACK ON WHEN THE POWER IS RESTORED. If you happen to be away for several days you will come back to a freezer that has defrosted all over your floor and your food in the refrigerator spoiled.

This is a defect due to the removal of the dispenser heater being removed. The insulation is inadequate behind the ice/water dispenser (@ 3 feet from the bottom of the door.) Replaced the line, thawed it out multiple times, added extra line under the fridge in the coils to try and warm up the water in the line between the 90 degree elbow connector and the dispenser... no luck. Since all the manufacturers models are being assembled in Mexico, using the same designs, other models are have the same issue. GE is backing theirs with a replacement freezer door. Well see if Whirlpool backs theirs. This whirlpool Gold is @ 3 years old and the issue started around a year ago.

Whirlpool is the manufacturer of most appliances including the Kenmore dishwasher. Your products are made horribly for the mother board to go out in 2 years is ridiculous. I purchased a stainless steel dishwasher from Sears in August of 2014. 2 weeks ago I received error codes E2 and F2. A technician came out and the mother board needs replaced because water got into it... its a dishwasher. The cost to fix $465. I paid $673. The sales person informed me that I should have purchased the extended warranty because the appliances now only last a few years. Seriously... fleecing of America. This is my last purchase from Sears. We have bought appliances for 30 years from Sears and this is the end. They could care less about customer service or their products. Apparently everything is now made by Whirlpool who will also be getting a review. Shame on you for making poor products.

I purchased a Whirlpool microwave at the end of November 2015. Since then it has needed repair 3 times. Now I am being told it is not repairable. Microwave is only 1.5 years old and Whirlpool would not stand behind its product and provide additional warranty service or even a discount toward a new one. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was just left on hold, 20 minutes later I hung up! Poor customer service!

Whirlpool water heater with the sensor for fumes. First time it failed, they talked me into replacing the control box on the front panel which was the WRONG fix. It took me nearly an hr to get it off because it was screwed on so tight I had to pound it with a hammer. After reading all the reviews its evident the underside gets clogged with dust and dirt. Just outright POOR ENGINEERING. My washer/dryer are also Whirlpool and I wish I had my old Sears Kenmore back. Will NEVER buy Whirlpool again. Worst brand EVER!!!

Buyers beware! I have had the Cabrio top loader washing machine for less than 18 months and it is already giving me problems. During the wash cycle, it sounds as though the gears are grinding to the point it wakes my family up two floors up! The spin cycle is a joke. The washer sounds as though it is going to spin off into another room! When I called Whirlpool, they told me to shut the circuit breaker. That might reset the computer. No go which I figured as much. I have had washers that lasted 10 plus years with no problems. It is not worth your time or your money. Never again, Whirlpool!

MODELGR673LXOQ WHIRLPOOL RANGE - I purchased this range in January 2014. It is a good-looking range with a ceramic top and a convection oven. It has burned more food in a year than I had burned in several years. The top burners get red hot no matter where you have them set. They turn on very hot, then turn off and after a while they are red hot again. Cooking anything that requires a medium or less heat burns to the pan bottom. The oven works alright as a regular oven but when put on convection it burns the food closest to the fan before the rest is cooked. The company sent a technician to check the stove. He checked the temperature of the oven and said it was running too hot. He changed that setting and the first time I tried to bake it took forever. I reset the oven back to where it had been. The tech made no attempt to check the top burners as he said they couldnt all be bad. I hate this stove I had my former stove for thirty years and never had problems with it.

Purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washer WTW5800BW0 September 2014. Two years and 8 months later it no longer works. Call Sears and Whirlpool and was basically told I should have purchased a warranty. Whirlpool tried to sell me an extended warranty for $495.00 which is about 80% of the original sale price of the washer. Was told it is my responsibility to care for the maintenance of my purchase. WOW. Way to stand by your product. So now its my fault they sell a product that does not last longer than 3 years. So we tried option 2 - called a repairman. His response save your money and buy a new washer. WOW. A repairman rather lose money than try and fix this washer. Save your money and pass on Whirlpool products.

I have a 2 year old Whirlpool refrigerator with french door refrigerator on top & freezer on the bottom. I am now spending almost $700 to have a new compressor put in because Whirlpool wont back their products.

I purchased my Whirlpool gas range about 5 yrs ago as brand new. Two and a half years after purchase, I started getting the F2 error and always had to pull the breaker to stop the oven. Whirlpool would not do a thing, they wouldnt even listen to me. So I bought a new control panel. Now once again here it is the holidays and Ive started getting the F2 error when I try to use the oven. So needless to say this is my last Whirlpool appliance. And the Service Officer wont even listen to me when I say I have to buy a new oven.

We purchased our Whirlpool Cabrio platinum washer about 3 years ago. I am completely frustrated with it. When it is on spin cycle, it sounds like a freight train going through my house. During the rest of the washing... it squeaks. And right now this is the 5th attempt to wash the same load of laundry. Because it keeps getting unlevel and it will not continue after I move the clothes around to get it level. So I have to start all over. There is not a spin cycle option that is available by itself. Every time I have to choose the rinse/drain/spin option. Obviously it is not under warranty anymore! Only a one year warranty... really pathetic! And when we called they offered us a little discount to buy another one. No thank you!!! Wont ever buy Whirlpool again.

We purchased our a model WTW7800XWO 7 years ago. Our lid kept falling down when loading and unloading. Very annoying. 3 years ago it failed to lock down which means the washer will not start. We learned to press down on the lid sides to get it to lock. Then it became loose where it connects to washer and we duct taped it to make it work. We put up for that for a year before having a repairman attach a new lid. 1 year later it did the same thing... And we put up with it hoping it wouldnt totally fail. Today it failed. Since the 1st repair cost 250.00 we decided that we will get a new washer rather than spend another 250.00. We will go with American made Speed Queen. We have had Whirlpool appliances since we were married 50 years ago.

We our adding our name to a list that is remarkably long. We purchased a top loading Cabrio washing machine just over a year ago and the problems with the balancing of the unit are the same as everyone else who has written in. The service company A&E has promised a lot but has done little to resolve the issues we have had with the machine. One representative told us that she would order the part and have it sent to our home. When the part did not arrive, we called A&E back only to find out it was never ordered because the service technician would not return their phone calls. I find this excuse ridiculous and similar to other false statements they have given us on the other four phone calls made to address the problem. After reading these reviews, we realize that this is only the beginning of what will be a frustrating and costly experience. Never again will we buy a Whirlpool!

Just cleaning the outside of our piece of ** oven. Must have hit either the on or off button to lock because the damn thing locked. Tried unplugging it, pushing all the buttons suggested on these websites, etc. Hell, even tried to call Whirlpool, where I just talked to a computer. Lesson learned: Whirlpool wont get our business again. Period.

We purchased a Cabrio top loading washer (WTW6400SW2) and a Cabrio dryer (WGD6200SW1) in 2007. From day one the washer has tied clothes in knots, never cleaned the clothes properly, and sputters the detergent and bleach unevenly. The fabric softener dispenser clogs up too, rendering it useless. The knotting of the clothes leaves them so tightly wrinkled they come out of the dryer very wrinkled. The water level, determined by the washers self-sensor that weighs each load, does not fully submerge the clothes. The manual says this is normal operation for this model and that it will not affect the cleaning process. Wrong. The small agitator is insufficient to clean the clothes but does a wonderful job of twisting them in long, tight knots. I want to kick myself every time I walk past the washer for paying so much money for such a poorly designed washer. I was very sick when they were first delivered and wasnt able to do much laundry. By the time I was well enough to do more with it, I noticed the clothes werent getting clean and were actually being damaged by the washers process thanks to uneven detergent distribution/spotting from the clothes sitting above the water level, and being poorly agitated and rinsed. Before I knew it, my warranty had expired. It was a very hectic year. Ive been very sick. We purchased it from Lowe’s. I had their techs out a time or two to check it in the beginning, but they always smoothed it over with some waffy, generic explanation. Eventually, I was past my 30-day trial period. I was on my own with Whirlpool, whod refer me to the manual and make me feel like I just had to get used to the new technology of the self-sensoring washer. Ive read that Whirlpool is aware of this issue and doing nothing. Ive read other complaints that describe the same problems I have and its obvious this is a design flaw. I appreciate these posts because I least I dont feel like Im insane anymore. No, just horribly ripped off by Whirlpool.

Amazing pice. Would recommend to anyone. The heat is great. The oven is amazing. I got this for my birthday and my kids were helping me to get it and I was so excited to receive it I was crying. Amazing machine, wish I had two. Would definitely buy again. I especially love how clean the oven top looks and how the knobs for the burners are easy to use.

I bought a Whirlpool water heater not even 3 years ago, and I am already replacing parts; thermostat,thermocouple, and as of yet, no fix. We contacted Whirlpool, and they said that everything has been tried, and if the thermocouple doesnt fix it, well have to hire a plumber at our expense. Its kinda ridiculous. The water heater that we replaced, had been in the home for almost 17 years.This one didnt even make it to 4.

Washer does not clean clothes period. Darks come out covered with white soap residue and smell dirty regardless of how little soap is used or with using extra rinse, which takes 84 minutes by the way. Whites only seem slightly cleaner since hot water is used and you cant see the soap residue. If you wash more than 5 or 5 items at a time some do not even get completely wet. Just waiting for it to break down next according to the other reviews. I spent a lot of money to get a nice washer and dryer and ended up with junk. Id rather have an old 1970 washer, probably designed better and most likely would clean better.

My wife and I made the unfortunate mistake of purchasing the Whirlpool Gold Series, model #WRF989SDAM00 refrigerator two years ago...yes TWO YEARS AGO! We have experienced numerous issues with the appliance but our latest (no cold air in both the fridge and freezer) prompted a call to a service center. The serviceman that showed up knew immediately what the issue was, our compressor and evaporator had malfunctioned and according to him, We have seen the same problem in a number of these models and that Whirlpool has since redesigned the casing to prevent this issue in new models. What about those of us who purchased the previous model?! Now shame on us I guess for not purchasing the extended warranty...I suppose I just took it for granted that in todays competitive manufacturing world Whirlpool would be committed to building a quality product! Because of this I was offered two options from Whirlpool. #1 - pay for the parts yourself...over $800 or #2 - purchase their 1 year warranty program @ $350/year, this warranty will cover all parts and labor for an entire year. Based on my experiences though, I will need to purchase a 1 year warranty @ $350/year for the life of this lemon, potentially costing me $5500 over a 10 year period. I ultimately took option 3...tossed the piece of junk and bought a new fridge from their competition. Dont be fooled by the attractive design and appearance, the Whirlpool Gold Series refrigerator is a money pit waiting to happen!

I bought a Whirlpool water heater in 2009. I paid $588.46 at Lowes. Turns out it is in a class action lawsuit for faulty thermocouple. I was given a coupon from Whirlpool for 2 new thermocouples as part of the class action lawsuit. The thermocouple goes out on it every 1-3 months. You never know when youre going to have a cold shower getting ready for work in the morning. I literally could have bought a new water heater for what Ive spent on thermocouples the last few years. The last two times it went out, I had to replace it twice within 1 day. Im sick of replacing it and have decided to install a new hot water heater. I am disgusted with Whirlpool and tried to contact them about it but have gotten no response. I will never buy another Whirlpool product and would not recommend them to anyone!

I bought a Whirlpool 5-burner gas range with double oven at a cost of $1700. Almost immediately, the finish above the oven started cracking and now is starting to chip off. When I contacted them, they stated cosmetics were only good for 30 days. We had just moved and were getting settled so we didnt use the range much for the first 30 days. I am very unhappy with this product and also unhappy with Sears for their lack of effort.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Dishwasher less than 2 years old and pump & motor assembly went out. You would think and hope that an appliance would last longer than that... Contacted Whirlpool and they were not helpful at all. Will not be buying anything made by Whirlpool again...

My Whirlpool refrigerator, model number ET8MHJKXM005, constantly leaks water into the bottom inside of the refrigerator. Its only 4 years old, for crying out loud! I have a repairman coming over in a few days who tells me the newer Whirlpool refrigerators are notorious for having the drain ice up. Why would Whirlpool design such garbage? They should all be recalled.

The machine Will Not Clean the Clothes. Had to Buy A Maytag Washer.

The electronic panel on my 4 year old barely used wall oven went out when I used the self cleaning function for the first time. It is going to cost $400 to fix it and another $100 to replace the stainless steel sides. They will have to remove to get the oven out of the wall. The oven door is locked and cant be opened so of the wall will have to torn out as well. I called Whirlpool 3 times and have offered no assistance.

I bought my Whirlpool washer/gas dryer 13 years ago and up till now I havent had one service call or repair done on either one of them. I have owned a Whirlpool washer/dryer before and I didnt have any problems with them either. When the time comes and I have to buy another set, there is no doubt in my mind that I purchase Whirlpool products again!

My whirlpool Duet Washer has been repaired twice in three years for more than half the cost of the original product. Now it faces another repair--not worth it!Shouldnt a major appliance last longer than three years? Whirlpool will do absolutely nothing.

Purchased 12/15/14 > Two weeks. Freezer 1/2 working, no cooling refrigerator. Contacted whirlpool, a service tech was sent out, tech contacted factory for assistance. Factory service had limited information on new production model, replacement part availability unknown. 48 business hours to conduct research. Six days to figure out what part to order/replace. No further assistance will be provided by whirlpool.

My husband and I remodeled our home and needed a new refrigerator... I wanted to try a Samsung, but after exhaustive research on my husbands part, he insisted we purchase a Whirlpool fridge... From the get go, I have regretted that decision. The main reason being the door on the L side of the fridge does not close completely. Sure, it alarms for a time, but what about all the times I close the door and leave the house. I have had to dispose of more groceries than I care to think about... Never again will I purchase anything by Whirlpool!

Great front loading machine. Dont have the smell problems a lot of people that I know who have front load. Cleans all types of clothing very well. 13 years of reliable service with very little maintenance.

I purchased a 40-gal Whirlpool water heater model 40t91-403 last week and paid a plumber to have it installed. The old one (GE 40 gal) worked fine except for a leak. The new one used all of the old connections except the 2-inch in and out pipes. Same connections, hot, cold and gas. At first I got about a quart of hot water and then all cold. Whirlpool changed the valve and cold water pipe (inside the tank) and still the same. They are trying to tell me that the tank is fine - I have a plumbing problem. Two plumbers have told me different, but still they insist. Yes, I am upset. The old GE, even with a leak, performed better!

I paid big bucks for a five burner, convection stove. I had a pot of boiling water on and the steam melted the plastic cover over the controls. Whirlpool said I had to buy the whole electronic panel. Close to $175.00!

I have a refrigerator model wrs325fdam. Its not a year old and I cant believe the runaround that I am getting from Whirlpool customer service. Come one day everything in freezer melting. Call a repair person. He come out, diagnose the problems, orders $825 worth of parts for a $899 refrigerator, puts the parts in. On the temperature in the freezer reads 80 degrees. No its order $200 more parts for this scrap metal pile. At what point do the people give a damn at the consumer, its not like anybody has common sense. Im going on two weeks without a ten-month-old refrigerator and four days waiting for them to figure this out. Would not recommend Whirlpool to anyone who cares about fair treatment.

I had purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator Side-by-Side ED2KHAXVS in Jan. 2013, the fridge had stopped working in the last week in 2014. I am out of a fridge as of today 01/13/2015. I did not have an extended warranty, I have called Whirlpool in Michigan and inquire if there has been any complain about the fridge, my question was not answered! I had bought the refrigerator from Karls in Fairfield, NJ. I found out from the repair person that I needed a new starter and a new compressor, I was surprised to have learn that the major parts do not have any guarantee on them beyond the warranty. WHY IS THIS REFRIGERATOR IS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST?

Please do not buy a Whirlpool range, they are dangerous. The ovens when they shut down still let gas into the stove. My whole house filled up with gas twice. Whirlpool will not honor the replacing of this stove and give me a replacement. They will repair the range on what they think is wrong but will not put it in writing that it is safe. The fear of using this range after repair is not worth risk I will have to take since Whirlpool does not stand behind their product.
