LG freezers are UNSAFE and do not work. I know others are having the same issue that we are; the freezer and refrigerator randomly stop working and the food has to be thrown out. And then you’re stuck in a customer service loop that never goes anywhere. LG is obviously aware of the issue and refuses to do anything for their customers. Does anyone know how to get a class action lawsuit going?

I bought my washer 2007, and have been disappointed because my clothes are not getting clean. The washer does not have a lot of water in it and the only way I can get any in it is with Water Plus. Sometime my clothes come out not even clean. I tried everything to get more water in it. I always had a top loaders that filled the tub. I thought that one of my hot or cold water valves was not working but, they do. I know somehow I am saving on water, but I would rather have clean clothes. Thought I was the only one until I seen these reviews. I am putting up with machine for now, but when I buy another one I will try to find one that is not he and probably not a LG.

We bought our brand new LG front load washing machine 2 years ago. It already has a bad bearing. LG will not warranty it because I dont have an extended warranty. This is clearly either cheap parts, or terrible quality assurance on LGs part. Bearings shouldnt go bad this fast. Car wheels have bearings that last up to 200,000 miles. The customer service department there expressed that it wasnt really their problem, and continued to ask me to pay a deposit on service for the unit. Will never buy an LG appliance again.

Wow! Before I bought the LG Model WT5101HW in Aug. 2010, I could not find bad reviews on this washing machine. I wish Id investigated further. It is just as noted in other reviews; not enough water in most cycles, not energy efficient (1:09 hr. cycle will take up to 1:55 hr.), water levels will sometimes leave clothes dry and still dirty. Machine has been recalled and fixed by service representative (which took three trips), constantly going UE and adding water, etc. There is no way to shorten a cycle except rinse and spin or spin only. I found the only thing that works reasonably well for cleaning is the Bulky/Bedding cycle. This seems to load the water based on level rather than the weight method. But it always fills it full, so I make sure the loads warrant the extra water used. I am considering biting the bullet on a different washing machine when the extended warranty expires in about ten months. I will NEVER purchase another LG product. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced.

My mother who lives in LA got a high tech LG fridge about 4 years ago which 2 months ago its compressor stopped operating and from that time she has made 6 different appointments with LG customers service to fix it! Every time they go and have look at the fridge and they say well, its the compressor and we dont have it with us!!! Thats all they do. Then my mom has to call them again and book another appointment which usually takes 2 weeks for them to appear, and the same story goes on! Its such a shame that the summer is going to finish and my mom couldnt use her fridge for 2 months. I wonder if LGs customer service has any ideas about living without a fridge in the summer time at all??? Its while my mom paid about $4000 for an useless huge box to sit in her kitchen! Thats not acceptable, frustrating and were not only gonna stop buying LG products, but also well get a lawyer to fix this problem ASAP!!!!

I have the same issue on my fridge that everyone else has (bad compressor) on a refrigerator that is only 2 years old. I have LG phones, TVs, dishwasher, stove, microwave, washer and dryer. But now I find out that the refrigerators are nothing more than junk due to issues with the compressor. There is a class action lawsuit on this. I spent about 3600.00 for something that lasted 2 years. Unacceptable. Really should be 0 stars.

My refrigerator stopped cooling after only 3 years. It is under warranty and the manual says that service is 365 days per year and 24 hours per day. It is a lie. After 11 days it has not been fixed and we have had no help. We have a household of 6 with 2 seniors, 1 essential worker and 3 young children. This has been a hardship and we let the company know this. We have spent many hours calling, texting and emailing without any end in sight.

We bought this electric oven with the convection option because it was a super deal. We would buy again because of the ease of usage, the easy self cleaning and the extra cooking rack. We especially like the options in two of the top burners to change size of heating element to better accommodate the pan being used. Lastly it has a warming/maintenance burner option also. We love this stove!

My LG refrigerator (Model: LFX25971ST) is not cooling. I bought an LG stainless steel fridge about three years ago. Last night, water started leaking from the ice maker on the door. Later, I found out that the water was leaking because the fridge was no longer cooling the upper part, nor freezing the freezer compartment.I called LG Customer Service to complain, but all I received was Im sorry. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was put on hold for over 15 minutes. The supervisor said that he would look into approving reimbursement for parts, but not for labor (no promises). I now have to wait until Monday (now Saturday) to get a reply. If I went to an authorized repairman prior to receiving a reply, then they will not cover anything. So, do I wait three days for a possible partial covered repair (and not have a fridge) or do I call a repairman today? By the way, this is the second major repair to my fridge in the last few months. The first came when the water line (on the fridge, not the connection to the house) cracked and leaked behind the fridge, causing considerable damage to my floor and the ceiling in the basement. My insurance company was involved and asked for the cracked tube after I had it replaced. They said that they would consider legal actions to recover the insurance claim.

Sealed system on 18 month old LG refrigerator (LFXS30766D-01) failed. It was under warranty, but LG has been unable to find anyone in our area to service our refrigerator. It has been over 3 weeks now. They have passed the buck to someone else to try to find someone to service it. Nothing has been done. I have spent hours on the phone trying to find someone to fix it. One LG approved company came to diagnose the issue, charging $100 and stating they were unable to fix the problem and good luck finding someone - no-one around here wants to work on these refrigerators. LG is NOT standing behind their warranty and is not fixing nor reimbursing for their failed product.

After one year, washer has started leaking or rather pouring water out of the bottom of the washer. Additionally, the clothes do not get clean. My experience was pleasant and effortless. It had an ice-making machine in the door and kept my food cold correctly. My food was never too warm. It worked and kept my food cold, its pretty simple. I would include more space, especially for bigger freezer storage. If it had room for bigger items that would be an improvement as well. It was included with the house we lived at. It met our initial expectations. Since I got it for free my expectations were pretty low. Its a refrigerator, if it keeps my food cold and works properly, Im happy.

A year later the front water dispenser didnt shut off. Called again, there are only two of us in the house so the refrigerator is lightly used, we should not have any problems in the first 2 years. In 2015 I bought all my LG appliances just to get to the 4 yr with them when all came apart. Just in this yr my microwave stop working, my stove supposed to be fitting 5 pots, it only fits 3 on it. My wall oven broke as well, but my worse nightmare is the experience I’m going through with my refrigerator, a MODEL: LMXS30776S/01. This refrigerator has stop cooling and making ice 3 times this yr, between April and November. I called the warranty company and they throw the ball to LG, LG keep sending this A&E Factory service to work on this refrigerator and for the second time in this month they supposedly fixed and leave saying that it would take 24 hrs for the fridge to cool again, 24 hrs passed and The fridge still not working.LG customer service keep say that they can’t replace the unit until the technician writes in his report that the unit is unrepairable. Meanwhile they have the customer without a fridge for almost a month. Christmas is around the corner and this is becoming a nightmare. All I keep hearing from the technician is that this is happening a lot with LG Appliances and LG stead of replacing or reimburse the money prefers to keep expending money paying to service companies.

If there was a way to give this LG True Balance Top-load Washer less than one star I would do it. I absolutely HATE HATE HATE this machine. There is no sized load, small or large, that goes thru a complete cycle without the unbalanced signal going on. This is NOT a washer you can leave alone for any length of time. I am constantly standing over it to readjust the clothing in the load to prevent yet another rinse and the washers attempt to even out the load before the spin. Unless there is a fix for this, I will NEVER buy another LG product.

Weve had this washer for about 2 years now and it is a terrible machine (the model is WM2050CW). When I wash shirts (4 or 5), I get soap stains on the shirts. The shirts have developed little pills (I do small loads at a time). If we dont keep the door open at all times we get a smell from the washer. It uses such little water I cant see how clothes could possibly be clean. We bought this at a Sears Outlet store. The washer and dryer were returned by a customer and we know now why. These were issues with the washer right from the start, but its just getting worse (and more and more frustrating). I wish wed bought a cheap top load washer. It takes forever to do a load of laundry and while it uses less water, it takes twice as much electricity. I thought it only fair to alert you to our dissatisfaction before we start to share with others. We had only heard good things about LG, but we will never buy another LG product, and we will urge anyone that will listen not to either.

My husband bought this horrible piece of crap without me. We had it a couple of months when it started to fail. Getting stuck on spin cycle and the clothes were SOAKED. Tech came in and said we have to put it on BULK (never had this problem with other machines). So, he cleared it, and worked on the drain motor. A couple months later (while using bulk setting), the machine did the same thing. In the year and a half since we bought it, it had done this about 25 times. Second time we had a tech come out... tried to tell us the same thing. This item is faulty. Just found out a friend with a front load LG is having the same issue. Never buying an LG again.

When we purchased our house 3 1/2 years ago we purchased a new LG French Door refrigerator. We had checked the reviews and all were good. The fridge worked great for the first 3 years or so. About 4 months ago the ice maker stopped working. We did some troubleshooting of the issue but to no avail. It was no big deal at the time, we just started using ice trays. We should have known at the time that something was very wrong. So about 4 weeks ago the refrigerator died. We lost all of our food and had no back up at the time. The day it died I called LG customer service and they set me up with a company called A&E Factory Service. After a day A&E called me and said the soonest they could get a technician to my house was 2 weeks away!I complained enough to the point where I worked it down to a week (again no refrigerator).. A week of eating out goes by and the technician shows up for my service call. He troubleshoots the refrigerator and says the compressor is toast. He says he needs to order everything in since he doesnt keep anything on his truck. He schedules another appointment with me which is 3 WEEKS AWAY. So now Im looking at four weeks without a refrigerator. So after the 3 weeks the new technician shows up and replaces everything on the fridge (compressor, coil, and two other heater items?). 3 hours later he says, Were all set. give it a day or two and itll be all set. Well 2 days later its not all set. Still broken, still not cooling at all..I called LG again and demanded they send me a new refrigerator and was told that I needed to have a service technician back to the house to see if it really needs to be replaced or if they can fix the problem. IS THAT NOT WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE DURING THE FIRST TWO CALLS!!I have now been without a refrigerator for over 4 weeks. I have taken two days off from work, one for each visit, which has cost me a lot of income, and will now have to take at least an additional day off for a third visit. I have a family of five and we are continuing to either eat quick made meals or eating out which is costing a fortune. I am completely fed up at this point. Never will I purchase another LG product. Which is very unfortunate since I already have 2 LG tvs, 2 LG soundbars and an LG microwave.

We bought an LG Refrigerator 4 years ago. The compressor recently failed. We were astonished to learn that it would take 3 weeks before it could be repaired. However, it got much worse. A few days before the scheduled repair, we were notified the repair would be delayed another week. Then on the day of the newly scheduled repair the repair technician called in sick. We were delayed another day. The next day the technician went to the wrong address. The repair was delayed another 2 weeks. At the next repair date a tech finally showed up at our house, only to inform us that LG shipped us a generic compressor and he had not been provided the tools to install this generic compressor. The next available appointment for a tech with the appropriate tools is 3 weeks away. The tech also informed us that he couldnt even guarantee that the compressor would fix the problem and we might be back in the same boat in a matter of weeks or months. I will never buy another LG product. After being without a refrigerator for over 2 months, we are likely to just go buy a new refrigerator at this point. What a horrible, frustrating and maddening experience.

LRE3083ST - After a year and 4 days of limited use there is enamel flaking off inside the stove. There appears to be rust underneath this area and this is a manufacturers defect. The range is not usable as food is not safe to eat any food. Flakes are airborne during cooking this range. The safety issues with this range are of great concern and the lack of response and support from LG on their product, which obviously has a manufacturers defect, is alarming. Hoping someone else will read this (and the feedback from countless other discontented LG customers) before buying an LG product. We remodeled our kitchen two years ago and bought all new appliances, including one of LGs expensive refrigerators - model LXFS30726S. About two weeks ago the unit stopped cooling and we called LG to have it repaired (parts are covered under warranty after year 1, labor is not). A repairman came out four days later and deduced that we needed a new compressor and three other parts to fix it. Ordered them and gave us an ETA of one week to be back and have the repair completed. We had to text him on the day it was supposed to be fixed to find out that the part wasnt in yet. Called LG and was told by the hard to understand customer service rep that the parts had shipped and would be in the next day. That didnt prove to be true.Called again two days later and got the Escalation department (which apparently means the excuses keep escalating but the customer service quality does not). At least I could understand this representative, who called the repairman while she put me on hold and said she had confirmed with the repairman (he also works for LG) that the parts were in and hed be out in a week to fix it. We called the repairman because hed said he would be out as soon as the parts were in and we didnt want to wait another week - we have already been without a refrigerator for two weeks and he said the parts were not in and that he hadnt told the customer service rep hed be out the following Monday. So, basically LGs customer service representative lied to me just to get me off the phone. It is sad that such a large corporation cannot get its act together and is acting so shady in dealing with its customers. Im hoping that eventually we have a working refrigerator but not holding my breath at this point. This is apparently an epidemic with LG. Do yourself a huge favor and buy a different brand of refrigerator - we sure wish we had at this point.

We ALWAYS bought SEARS products, so when the time came to purchase a new refrigerator, we went to our local SEARS store. We bought one with a bottom freezer (LG). Its beautiful, BUT started malfunctioning less than 1 year later (it wouldnt stay cold). After several calls (and hours of being on HOLD) to their customer service department, and answering the same questions over and over, I finally reached a sympathetic rep who actually listened and realized that my fridge was STILL under the manufacturers warranty, as well as the purchased extended warranty. She ordered a replacement refrigerator, and we got it about 10 days later. Two years after receiving the 2nd fridge, that one started malfunctioning! We opted to get the home warranty, but still had to pay around $600 out of pocket. Now, another two year later... here we go AGAIN!!! Same fridge, same issue. But, due to the pandemic, we tried to lower our expenses, and recently cancelled the home warranty. So, again on the phone with SEARS trying to see if there was anything that could be done (like maybe there was a recall on this model). Now some may say Bad luck, but I say CHEAP QUALITY... Do not buy LG or Sears products!! BUYER BEWARE!!

I purchased a LSC27921SW from my local SEARS a few years back. The front left door ice and water dispenser opening area under the drip tray is now rusting under white paint. I spoke to LG corporate office twice and was promised a return email or call which never came. I requested to speak to the corporate manager CEO and I was denied. I have never had a refrigerator do this and of course after the warranty was up I was careless about keeping my receipt handy so now I have nothing but the evidence of the damage to my refrigerator. The refrigerator works good but I cant keep something that looks this tacky in my home. Its embarrassing. Their customer service sucks and I will never buy another LG item again now that I know they dont back their products against manufacturer defects.

I have purchased a single door fridge from R.K. distributors on 24.08.2014. My fridge is doing different type of noise which is unavoidable. I contact to helpline & they told me that if there is no fault in your fridge you have to pay technician visit charge either your fridge is in warranty. They also told that your fridge is required 220 volts constantly but at the top of your product there is a sticker indicating the voltage range 135-290. I got a number from your service centre of Ms. ** contact no. is ** who talked with me very rudely. Your area manager is well behaved. I cannot understand that if my fridge is under warranty and having no fault why you are demanding service charge for the visit?

We purchased a LG front load washer about ten years ago and it has performed flawlessly. I did a good bit of research before buying this washing machine. I wanted a direct drive and not a belt driven machine so as to not have to worry about a belt wearing out. As far as the musky smell a lot of people complain about with front load machines, all you need to do is leave the door open a few inches so the moisture can evaporate and we have never had a problem. Our LG machine cleans our clothes very nicely and with the high speed spin our clothes come out with very little moisture in them.

I purchased an Lg Washer and dryer a little over a year ago. Within the first year I had to have the washer repaired a total of four times with three of those repairs being done for the same issue. When I bought the washer at Pacific Sales in San Dimas Ca, I purchased an extended warranty. Just recently, the washer began to leak water again. I contacted the warranty department and notified them of the problem. They sent a technician out and he deemed the washer unrepairable since it had been repaired for the same thing several times. I then contacted LG and told them that they needed to replace my washer or give me my money back. This washer is a lemon. They told me that I was out of warranty and that I had to deal with my extended warranty company. I told them that I already had and that since the problem was a pre-existing one, they would have to replace it.So after two months, I still dont have a washer that works and not only that, I have a wash room that has been damaged due to the leaks from the washer. My wood floor has begun to warp. I have done everything that LG has asked me to do and provided and they continue to give me the run around and blaming everyone but themselves.

LRG 3081ST gas stove - My first problem was that Best Buy never warned me that to convert this stove to propane was going to cost close to $300.00. The next problem was as soon as I started to use the product, the fan in the convection oven does not work most of the time, the controls are very difficult to use and very confusing, one of the burners does not work! After contacting Best Buy they told me I had to call LG, which I did. After many tries and disconnected calls I finally reached a person and he reluctantly set up an appointment with a local repair shop, and although she agreed the fan should work better but after calling LG they said it was normal and there was nothing she could do. But they did agree it probably should have a new burner but that is still on order. The stove is basically a cheap POS. I would not recommend anyone to buy this model.

We purchased an LG Fridge for our condo in 2007. We had a problem with it in September 2014. Because it is at our condo out of town there is no LG repair staff anywhere near. The local repair companies are not allowed to purchase parts and in spite of it being off warranty my own attempts to purchase the parts myself were denied. My only option was bring it into the city to have it repaired. I ended up buying a brand new fridge that was definitely not LG but was a brand that is locally serviced. Based on this poor service experience I would highly recommend against ever making any type of LG purchases.

We bought our LG refrigerator 12 years ago and it has been a source of aggravation ever since. It has had to be worked on numerous times. Leaks water from the ice maker and now makes crazy suction noise. We have our Whirlpool refrigerator in the garage, nearly 25 years old and has not had one problem. All I can saw is DON’T BUY LG or be prepared for lots of problems. I am afraid with this latest noise that it could catch fire! We will have to buy a new refrigerator soon because we can’t live with this constant aggravation, Even though we paid more for it than any refrigerator we have ever had!!!

Four weeks ago, my LFX25960SW LG Refrigerator displayed an ER dH error code on the front door panel. All of my food was warm and the fridge was not cooling. I called LG (what a circle jerk) and was referred to A&E Service. I called and was told that I would have to wait a week for someone to come out. He came out and said that it was the bimetal heater, which he doesnt carry in his truck and would have to be ordered. It was shipped to my house in 4 days. I had to wait another week for the serviceman to come back. He took off the old one and put the new one in, but when my husband checked the part he took off, it was working. The serviceman said that it might be the circuit board, and that he would order it. A few hours after he left, the error code came back and the fridge was warm again.I wasnt confident that the part was ordered, so I called LG myself to order it and found out that the serviceman hadnt ordered the part. It came 5 days later but we had to wait another week for the serviceman to come back. He put in the new circuit board but within 5 hours after he left, the error code was back and the fridge was warm again. Luckily, we had a small fridge in the garage; but it was getting pretty annoying humping bags of food back and forth. I just called LG again today and was told that they would call A&E and look into the matter, and call me back. As of yet, there has been no phone calls. I guess its going to be another day of waiting for the phone to ring. The time Ive wasted on the phone with LG and A&E and on waiting for the repairman have been very frustrating, and my fridge still doesnt work.I live in Missouri and actually called a repairman I know in Chicago. He told me that he doesnt even work on LG because you cant get parts and theyre nothing but junk. I wish I had known before I bought this high priced piece of crap. I will never buy an LG product again. They do not stand behind their product. Once its bought, youre on your own.

We bought our refrigerator as an appliance set with stove and dishwasher on 4/24/2014. The model #LFX32945ST, our delivery date was 6/20/14. We did not buy extended warranty at that time. It began to slowly breakdown Nov. 2016. First the ice started to melt down onto floor, then everything in my refrigerator began to go bad then finally everything in my freezer started defrosting. I had to buy bags of 40 lb bags of ice, put everything in 3 coolers to stop from going bad. We had to go out to eat diner everyday. LG offered an extended warranty for $463.00 one repair visit including parts and extended for 1 year for one more breakdown. They said if they could not repair they would give us depreciated value of the refrigerator. Dependable Appliances who was contracted by LG to do the repairs came to my house 11/16/16. When the appliance repair man came to my house after waiting 5 days for his arrival he didnt even look at the back of the refrigerator. He told me since it is just over 2 years old and nothing is working in the refrigerator it really should be replaced. He told me he would put that in my report that I needed a replacement and it could not be repaired. After waiting 3 days for them to call me I decided to call Dependable to find out that no replacement was coming and that they were ordering a part. They could not tell me when it would come in. Three days before Thanksgiving we decided to cancel the warranty and just buy a new refrigerator after reading nightmare scenarios online and on BBB. I pray that my LG dishwasher and stove to crash also. Keeping my fingers crossed. Never again.

I purchased my LG washing machine 1 1/2 years ago. It is a model WT1101CW. It is constantly saying its unbalanced and has rattled my bathroom floor apart. The tiles are now badly cracked. Not only that, but in the last several months it has developed an issue where it cant run for more than a minute or two at a time without giving me the UE (unbalanced) error code. I called the LG recall line after seeing that some similar LG machines have been recalled for the same issues, but was told that based on my machines serial number, my machine isnt one of those recalled. I was then transferred to customer service who again told me to make sure that the machine is level. The machine is perfectly level. I have cleaned the tub often, and also tried unplugging it and pressing start and pause as LGs customer service department has also suggested.I was also told by their customer service department that I could try adding a cycle option such as add fabric softener to increase the amount of water in the tub. Since it only has water in it during the tub clean cycle when it also gives an unbalance signal every few minutes, this isnt going to help. It also defeats the purpose of the machine being energy efficient. Today I have spent 9 1/2 hours so far doing a tub clean with just vinegar as they suggested. Every minute or two it gives me the unbalance error code and I have had to restart it. It still has water in it and hasnt finished. It is now 8:30 pm and I started it at 9 am this morning.I just called LGs customer service department for the 6th time in the last few days and was told that since my 1 1/2 year old machine is out of warranty, it will cost a minimum of $299 for a service call! When I objected to the exorbitant price, the representative offered to let me pay with three easy payments. I can buy a new machine for not much more than that. I am 60 years old and have to say that this is the WORST washing machine I have ever owned, and the WORST customer service I have ever received. Also, I believe this model machine needs to be recalled as well. There is definitely an issue with it, and I see from the other complaints on here that I am not the only one having problems with this model. WORST PRODUCT AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

In 2014 after about 3-4x of having to come repair the refrigerator they replaced it because it was under an extended warranty plan. I now have problems with the new replacement refrigerator which its warranty expired in June. I had a service person come to check the refrigerator out and they said the compressor is bad and it will cost $1100.00 to get it repaired. Totally not what I suspected. We were without for 2 wks waiting for part after part till it came down to being the compressor. It was under warranty however LG told me that I should and have to have a certified LG repair person make the diagnosis and fix.Gentleman came and was very courteous. LG sent us a compressor overnight but it took 4 days to receive it. Then come to find out not only was the compressor shot but it leaked freon out into the inner casing and all that would have be replaced. He said go get a new fridge because the repairs would be way more than the cost of a new one. Still have the compressor. Tried to return it to LG, since it will only fit that model, they said would issue an RMA. Its been a month now and I still have not received it. Called they said it would come when it comes. I have an LG front load. It does not have an option to add more water and there is never any extra water in it other than what is on the clothes. As a result I have to wet the clothes down before I start the cycle and do a “rinse and spin” at the end of a full wash as the “extra rinse” does not utilize enough water to justify the electricity being used but the rinse and spin seems to have residual water in the drum. Even with minimal soap and fabric softener or using vinegar in the mid cycle the clothes still come out with a chemical smell to them. Yes I clean the machine regularly as it also has a problem with getting smelly quickly. Had to replace the sensor that creates the spin at year 6 but DIY as this is such a common problem and instructions found easily on the internet.

I had the infamous LG linear compressor failure on a fridge that is only a few years old. Prior to it breaking down, I called and proactively asked for replacement or a permanent fix after hearing of friends and relatives have failure. LG refused and said they would only come out if something was broken because no official recall was done. They are in a class action lawsuit currently over this. We are now waiting A WEEK for a technician to come and $700+ worth of food and groceries gone. Calling the customer service was a nightmare with foreign reps who spent 15 minutes trying to understand my address until I asked to be transferred to a supervisor who had better communication and more fluent in English apparently. Then I was told that they would reimburse me for a mini fridge or fridge rental, later I find out that was a bold faced LIE. It has to be GREATER than 7 days of outage to qualify for this. I was exactly scheduled for repair at 6 days from my phone call, so now they are saying they wont reimburse. In summary - terrible equipment and terrible customer service that is untrustworthy and cannot communicate. Never purchasing LG again.

This WT5075CW washer is completely useless. I am going to have to replace it, and I have only had it a little over a year, but I cant take it anymore. It gets unbalanced on the spin cycle for no apparent reason. I only was like weight and size clothes together. I rearrange the clothes when it gets unbalanced and then restart. It starts filling with water again and stops unbalanced again. I try the Spin Only cycle. Same thing. I was the same loads every week and it is completely random as to which load will have this problem. Last week, it was the delicates – how can they cause an unbalance???!!! I am left with an entire load of sopping wet clothes that I have to drain over the top of the washer, hang out on the patio until the dripping stops and then dry in the dryer for over an hour. I called my BrandsMart extended warranty repair team out and they said that is how the washer was designed and charged me $60.

We did everything we could to fix this problem but it would run right for one time and then be back to a F9 after heating to 110. Purchased refrigerator in October to be delivered to our home that was still in the build process. hhgregg held fridge for us until Nov.22, when it was delivered. $3600.00 later, I could take the thing and run a truck over it. 2 weeks ago, my husband came and got me from another room to show me the control panel on the fridge... it read..... R & DH. No clue what either meant, got the manual, lo and behold manual is in every language, but not one thing referring to the codes on the control panel. Left with one option - call the 800#.. Now that means speaking with someone in God knows where, who cant stop apologizing long enough for you to say what you need.... She informs me that we (my husband, who is 72 and myself who is 67) need to PULL the from the wall, unplug it and let it sit {like rebooting a computer}. Then plug it back in and it will be fine.... She failed to tell us that we would have to do this on the average of twice a day, every day!Contacted hhgregg. Oh we had 30 days for return, too bad!!!! Called LG, when the foreign person answered, I demanded to speak to a supervisor who spoke and understood ENGLISH, she supplied. She said that there was a company who would come to fix it.... She contacted them. They happened to be the ONLY COMPANY WITHIN A 75 MILE RADIUS THAT WORKS ON LG!!!!! Now, how lucky are we????? NOT.Company called, sent a young kid out to access the fridge. Lo and behold, I needed a part that would actually defrost the fridge. The one in there was not working. He ordered the part. In the middle of all of this, my husband had to have surgery. They called me to schedule the appointment and unfortunately I had to call them to come later in the day, I had to get my husband to the surgeons office for an emergency. Called the other kid repairman and he said he would make me the last visit. We got home around 1PM in the afternoon, called him and he said to me, oh I forgot I had another client and I wont be there today, they dont allow us much for gas money. I was furious.... I said to him, this is your job..... I had an emergency and he said, well you are the reason I didnt make it there today. I could have gone through the phone after him.... He then said I would have to contact the office to reschedule.. He had my part on his truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I decided to call LG and let them handle it. The gal said she would find someone who could come out and fix the unit... She didnt bother to say that she would not be in touch until the next week. In the meantime, we are still unplugging and replugging... and get angrier by the minute. I finally called LG to find out what happened. Oh the dept that handles that take 3-5 business days to locate someone. I ask her, suppose I had gone on vacation and this happened, I would have lost all my food. Yes you would and it was your responsibility. LG will not reimburse. I am not proud of my profanity at this point, but it was well deserved. LG had me between a rock and hard place. I called the owner of the company that first came out... {let me add this, the owner of the company called me and apologized for the kid that gave me the attitude and said he was no longer working for them, that is not how he treats his customers}. When I spoke to him, he was gracious and said he would be out on Thursday to fix the fridge. He came, apologizing once again, put the part in the fridge, after showing us the frost that was built up on the back of the bottom freezer. Said to us that if this does not work, then we have more serious problems. NOT EVEN 12 HRS AND IT WAS BACK DOING THE SAME DAMN THING. I am so angry, so frustrated..... Of course it happened on Friday so nothing was open until today.... I have posted this review here, next Consumer Protection agency, LG and then hhgregg... Busy morning for this frustrated and angry consumer!

At ok never point I discovered that the machine had actually been recalled. The machine was known to vibrate across the floor. The techs have been out numerous times but when Home Depot called they said they were only out twice, once a no power issue. They are so misinformed. I had the motherboard replaced and other issues. Now if I wash a quilt the machine stops and flashes. Then when I put it on Spin Only it shoots out water!! So I am left with soggy blankets. I am so furious and disappointed. They should have designated this a lemon four years ago. I think someone needs to instigate a class-action lawsuit against LG. Why are we putting up with this??? I plan to have my lawyer look into this. The techs are coming again on Friday. They will say the same nonsense. I will tell them it is time to sue.

I purchased by LG refrigerator from Home Depot in September 2018. Waited for delivery, all seemed fine. About 6 weeks later the door alarm started going off for no reason. Called LG customer service at 10 p.m. They cant help me, I have to call Home Depot! Called Home Depot. They hooked me up with repair service because its under warranty. However, they cant come out to look at it for over a week! Guess Ill have to wait and hear a door chime every 30 seconds and my Led light on all the time for a week!!! Ok, can do that. Now my water dispenser wont work, disconnected the water supply so that wont cause a problem. Ok can deal with that. Today, just 5 more days to technician time. Now the refrigerator is freezing my refrigerator drawer food and melting everything else. Contacted LG customer support and told them my story, they responded with THANK YOU. REALLY thank you for what, your crappy customer service!! NEVER WILL BUY LG AGAIN!!!

The area around and under the bleach dispenser has rusted causing rust to fall into our clothing. We purchased an extended warranty from Home Depot and they and LG both indicated that this would not be covered and said that it is a cosmetic issue. We dont like our clothing getting rusty! After all repairs, I still have problems with the plastic inter parts breaking. Whats with LG product?

French door with water and ice distributor, bottom freezer, refrigerator LFX28968ST, barely 3 years old (still have one more payment), non-functional. Thursday, We noticed water spillage on floor in the morning but just assumed kids dropped ice and didnt clean up. In the evening we noticed nothing was cold and everything in freezer was defrosted and warm. Called LG, troubleshooted a few things, nothing. Even the SMART diagnostic could not be processed. We paid the flat rate for a service call.Friday morning, LG technician came, verified and said there was nothing to be done, non-repairable. Filled out the paperwork, took pics, scanned the bill of sale, sent to LG office and told us LG will replace and in that 72 hours should have a response. Weekend without fridge - good thing it was cool outside. Waited until Wednesday, no response. Call back LG customer service (located in Philippines). They have receive request but are still processing. Normally takes 7-10 business days, but since this is urgent, 3-5 business days.Well today, is 5th business day. I called back, they responded that it is still being processed, calculating the pro-rated amount, and someone will call us mid-next week. I ask to speak to someone in the department who is better able to help, but they do not transfer to whatever dept that would be, nor will they transfer to supervisor. I have a family to feed, and my home business involves cooking. I have lost the contents of my fridge and even though the temperature outside is cool, it dips below freezing at night and there are scavenging animals. Does anyone know a mailing address for LG so I could send them a legal letter? Customer support is really not helpful. I recommend not buying LG! This was the first and will be the last!

We purchased an LG top load washer and dryer set on 1/25/2012. It just completely stopped working mid-cycle yesterday, 08/06/2012, locking both pairs of my sons shoes in there. Today is the first day of school and he had to borrow a friends pair of shoes. But it gets worse when I called LG when this happened. She gave me numbers of two service people in my area, or so she thought. I called them both and they do not service my area. There is no one that services my area. I called LG back, they said they would call me back when they get a resolution and that could take 5-6 business days. I have 2 pairs of $100.00 shoes in a washer and cannot get them out. By the time I do get them out, they will probably be ruined. I should not be experiencing this problem with what I consider a brand new washer and dryer. I have 3 children and another due in 6 weeks, and my raging hormones are raging!

We purchased this microwave in 2018, along with the matching refrigerator, dishwasher, and double oven. Spent a small fortune to buy them for our new kitchen. Our kitchen remodel was delayed so the microwave wasn’t opened until just recently. It was opened and installed professionally. During its first use I could hear what sounded like a fan, come to a grinding halt. We called LG and were told that because it’s out of warranty we would have to take it to an authorized repair shop (but would most likely have to pay for the repair ourselves). The nearest shop is about an hour away, and that’s after we take it down from the wall/cabinets. Then we are expected to reinstall it. I’m beyond overwhelmed and deeply disappointed.

Nearly 2 months later the freezer is inoperable as well as the ice maker. The refrigerator is semi-warm. I have asked for an exchange, and the service companies believe we have a lemon. This washer goes off kilter on any load that doesnt have exactly the same weight items in it. You cant wash jeans and tee shirts or flannels, even if you balance the jeans. A small load of like items works ok, but not much else. Large loads never fully agitate. Only the bottom of the load gets moved. The washer spends more time rebalancing itself than washing. Many times I have had to remove half the load and rinse and spin a few items at a time. Dont buy this washer.

I bought this range 3095st about 6 months ago. Never used the broil feature until recently. Then oven stopped working. Called LG and they sent a qualified repair technician. Wrong!!! The guy was clueless...had to read the paperwork AND call the technical support phone number. He complained about LG being cheap and not paying for multiple visits to repair an appliance! Their technician said he was the only one for the area. Told me the range was functioning. I turned on the broiler several hours later and heard a strange humming noise followed by a loud bang. Range/broiler/oven light dont work at all.Repair technician said it would take a week to receive a new circuit board which I found online for 50 dollars and could have it expedited. Two weeks later no phone call, no oven/broiler/no holiday dinner during Easter/added costs of eating out! Wouldnt you think LG would offer something...hell no they put me on hold when I called them. Ive been holding on for a month already!!! Never again LG!

We bought a LG gas conventional oven (model or serial # LG LRG3095ST) from Frys on March 13 2015. We did not open the box until today march 27 2015 and found that the door of the oven got one hinge loose... that mean the door is only connected to stove by one hinge and the other side is hanging when open. And there is a big dent on the stove... We rushed back to Frys in the city of industry to exchange it or return it... but we were told they wont accept our return or exchange. The return department at frys gave us the number 1800 243 0000 to contact LG to settle the problem... so we called LG and the LG operator told us that there is nothing they can do. I felt like it is not fair to us. We paid for a brand new oven and got a defective one and no one seemed to be willing take a responsibility for that. We are stuck with a defective stove. The service was very bad. We were actually told by the manager step out of my store, the exit is that way! twice. We would like them to exchange the oven or refund my money.. Thank you very much for your kind help.

Have only had the fridge for just over 5 years, and already the compressor has failed. Came home to water all over the floor. All the food in the freezer had to be tossed. Tried calling LGs 800 number, and I got Craige, their automated whatever you want to call it. When go through his questions, you get disconnected. Tried calling 4 times to actually speak to someone, and every time got Craige. I guess LGs great Linear Compressor has a 10 year warranty, but Im looking at over $500 to have it put in as only the part will be covered. I wish I had read reviews about this horrible compressor when I was purchasing this fridge, as I would never have bought it. But Im like so many others and will have to get it fixed since it cost so much money only 5 years ago. Just sad LG cant make a reliable product. What makes me mad is they know about their failing compressors and arent doing anything about it with their so called valued customers.

Already happened three times. Lots of food lost. I will never purchase an LG product again. The evaporator (the thingy with lots of coils and fins, which is responsible for transferring the coldness from the compressed gas to the surrounding air inside the fridge/freezer) ices up. The evaporator defrost heater is working, yet it does not defrost all the ice, allowing for lots of ice buildup. Apparently LG has issue with the timer controlling the defrost cycle. But the bottom line is that when ice builds up on the evaporator fins, no cooling can be done and the food spoils. To fix the issue you have to take the entire fridge (shelves rails, drawers) and freezer (door, rails, ice maker) apart to gain access to the back covers, remove the back covers and manually defrost using a hair drier to remove all the ice build up. I am now an expert in doing this, and it only takes about half a day. But all the food is already spoiled since there is no warning that the fridge and/or freezer stopped working. :-(Apparently this is a common issue with LG, not only this specific model. Other people also have issues with the drain tube freezing up (the drain tube is supposed to drain the water which the evaporator defrost heater thaws. This cause water to overflow and build at bottom of fridge and/or freezer and leak onto the floor, damaging the floor. Some people jury rigged an copper wire extension from the defrost heater into the drain hole to transfer heat from the heater into the drain hole. LG is aware of these issues and has done nothing to address them.Three recommendations for LG: 1- Engineer a better way to detect that there is ice building up and/or make sure that the defrosting cycle is long and/or frequent enough to defrost the evaporator coils and fins. 2- Have an ALARM whenever the temp inside the fridge and/or the freezer is above the set temperature, to warn against spoiling food.3- LG should engineer something to ensure that the drain holed does not ice up. (a heat transfer copper wire as above or a separate heating element around the drain tube).Even if they do listen, I will never purchase an LG product again. -Avi

Purchased in late 2011 as part of a range, fridge, microwave, dishwasher package deal from appliance warehouse. This is the third time Ive had to call for service and pay $60 charge each time on my homeowners warranty policy. The usual problem is burners that dont turn on and in the past, only a few would go out at a time, leaving me a workable burner or two. This time all are out and now the broiler is also down -- only the oven is working now. One service tech said the cables inside the panel were loose. How that happened, I don’t know because the range doesnt get jostled or moved around a lot. Another complaint within the first six months of purchase is an inside drip between the oven door double paned glass but Ive lived with ugly mess because the service tech couldnt fix it without taking the entire range to the shop for a week. But wait -- theres more LG product problems! The side-by-side door fridge problems have also cost me three service calls ($60 each). The icemaker frequently goes on strike for several months at a time and then on its own starts working again. Of course, this renders the ice dispenser constipated and totally useless. The cold water dispenser has the opposite problem and is often incontinent it keeps spewing water for several seconds after the drinking glass is removed.I believe LG must stand for Least Good and the range model number LRE30453ST must stand for Least Reliable Electric ** Stoves Terrible. I will never again purchase another LG appliance and recommend that other buyers also shop for another brand.

10 year motor warranty is useless to me/read the fine print. I have an expensive top load direct drive LG washer that was 3 years old when the machine broke. I called LG and they gave me the name of a company to do a diagnostic. That company came out and determined that the motor shaft was broken. The tech estimated that it would cost close to $900 to fix. (Could buy a new washer for that) Thinking that being absurd, I called LG back and they told me that the part was covered but not the labor. The labor is covered for only a YEAR.They further told me that the guy that they recommended price was way too high. They gave me another number and I called that number only to find out that the company will only service items underparts and labor! Heres the ridiculous part. I cant find anyone willing to do a service call when just the part is under warranty. So after 3 years with an expensive washer it is looking like my only choice is to buy a new washer. LG has been of zero help. I will NEVER buy another LG washer again. It is a total joke dealing with their unknowledgeable customer service.

Every time I use my LG Wave Force supposedly “self balancing” washing machine it takes multiple hours to finish one load unless I am constantly readjusting the clothes to keep it balanced evenly. It doesn’t seem to matter if the load is big, medium or small in size. The result is still the same. The clothes do not seem to come out clean and the machine takes forever to finish a load. I spent a lot more than I had expected for this washing machine because of the great reviews that I read about it and have been highly dissatisfied since I purchased this piece of junk. I will never buy an LG washing machine ever again and I am writing this review to help others save their money to put towards their hard earned money towards a washing machine that’s well worth the big purchase. Clearly this one was a huge purchasing mistake. I HATE this machine!!!As if doing laundry wasn’t enough of a chore, babysitting this machine and CONSTANTLY readjusting the clothes is a busy woman’s nightmare!!! I’ve talked to many people and the consensus is the people love their washer if they purchased a Speed Queen. I’ll be looking into that type of washer soon. I would’ve thrown the LG washer out my second floor window by now if I could!!

I will never buy another LG product again. This microwave needed major repairs within 18 months of my purchase. The first repair happened when it was still under warranty but I had to pay for service and when the second repair was needed, the warranty had expired. I called LG to ask for a warranty extension with the argument that a relatively new appliance should not need major repairs twice. In fact, the microwave I had replaced with the LG was over 10 years old and had never needed a repair. I replaced it because it was old looking and I was remodeling my kitchen. LG would not extend the warranty and the repair with service would cost more than replacing it. I argued that they should replace my microwave but was denied. Again, I will never buy an LG appliance again.

I purchased the stove from Home Depot on March 29, 2011. My kitchen remodel was completed two months later, making the actual age of the stove approximately four months old. I dont cook on the stove often and only used the oven this one time. I placed a tray with dinosaur breaded chicken pieces in the oven at 350 degrees. Five minutes into cooking them, I heard glass shatter. I ran to the kitchen thinking a window had broken. I looked at the oven and the inside glass had shattered. I waited the weekend and called LG service on Monday. A service man came on Tuesday (Granville **). He came late. He trudged through my house with mud and looked at my paperwork for the stove. He poked at the broken glass and tiny pieces fell on the floor. He took pictures, closed the door, took a picture of the serial number, kicked the tiny of pieces of glass off his work boot and proceeded to leave my house. I stopped him and asked if the repair was getting done today. He said something about the LG company. I said, “Could you please tell me if the repair is getting done today?” He said, Call the company tomorrow. I said, “Tomorrow, I want my stove done today.” He said, Call the company. I cant do no more. I immediately called LG and they said, Werent you told to call tomorrow? I said, “I want to know today.” They put me on hold and said they would call the service man. When they came back on the phone, they said, “The service man notified us that it was negligence on your part that the oven glass broke.” Was it on my part? I put something in to cook. The glass shattered only on the inside pane of glass and blew apart into tiny pieces that flew all over my floor when I opened it. And I have a small child that could have been badly injured if he was playing near this monstrosity of a product. A service man came, poked his finger at the broken glass and more pieces fell on my spotless floor. He kicked his heel to make the ones on his boot fall off onto my floor and walked away leaving them there. And Im into day six without a stove and your company is telling me I can get it repaired if I pay for it. Should I pay for it? I dont even think this stove is safe with new glass. Something caused that glass to blow apart, whether the thermostat let the temperature get too high, the glass wasnt properly sealed, or the complete stove is defective. One thing is certain. I did nothing wrong to cause this to happen. And the replies I keep getting, that are made to make me feel like a liar, are totally sickening. I have LG washer and dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, stove, and seven wall unit air conditioners. And you mean to tell me that I never made a single complaint. But the one and only time I do, Im at fault? Did I deliberately or by mistake broke a window out of my oven? Absolutely not. I bought all these products in good faith. I even bought extended warranties on some. At the first sign of trouble, your company turns its nose up at me. What a disgrace!

Bought LG dishwasher from Home Depot July 2020. Delivered in 9/2020, due to Covid. Tried to make it work in two of our family homes, multiple calls to service techs. Gave me a repair reference number, which eventually revealed that no LG service tech services in our area, and no local repair was found when LG looked for one. I have a new service number now, and twice they have said it will be 7 to 10 days before I know if I will get a refund. It is still under warranty. Stalling is just unbelievable. One time they said the Power Service Team would decide, now it has been given to Defective Returns Department. I do NOT want another one, if no one can service it even with a warranty.I sent an email to their CEO at LG. If I dont get my refund (sent all paperwork 2 times) I am going to ask consumer media TV people to publicly help me. This went on several times until the warranty ran out so I had to purchase a second warranty and finally LG sent another company out to work on it. They had several tries at it. I own the LG WT5101HW top load washer. I purchased 3yrs ago from Best Buy. We have a family of 5 so I hoped the extra large capacity would be a great option. Unfortunately we have benefited from this option due to it throwing it off balance and giving an UE code. We received a recall letter and had the LG repair guy change the part (I believe the circuit board) in September 2013. Its no ones fault but mine that Ive waited 9mo to complain about the fact that the problems have been worse since the repair was done, but in my defense it didnt happen right away. The knob for the settings however did not get put back correctly and does not spin freely like it used to, but I tried to overlook that since it would cost me a day of work to have the repair guy come back out to fix it. The unbalance code would occur only about 2 or 3 times a month in the past and we just thought it was overloaded or honestly unbalanced, but when we checked it the clothes were not shifted in a way that shouldve caused it to be out of balance in my opinion. In the last 2 months however the code goes off more often, to the point where its every other load it seems even on a small load. The drum is very violent and causes the machine to shake around a lot. And when you move the clothes around and push the start button again even if it says only 1minute is left, it will run for an hour if you dont stop it. We have had to just turn it off and put in the dryer. Thankfully it has not ripped apart as Ive seen in videos, but at this rate it seems its any day now. When I called LG about the on going issue, they said that a repairman could come look at it, but it would be at my expense since its out of warranty. Doesnt matter that it is the same problem from the recall nor did it matter only 9mo have passed since the recall repair was done. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was given the same speech. I have been a huge LG fan for years after buying my first flat screen t.v. from them, but our family will never own another LG product after this and I will spread the word about LGs lack of concern involving a very expensive washing machine that last less than 3yrs. Id rather have my old Whirlpool washer with over sprayed paint to cover the rust at this point!

Its takes very small time, easy to operate and it works automatically. This have been our Messiah. Best than all. Really appreciate the world of LG.

Like the other review, if you set your oven to bake at 350, and watch a professional thermometer inside the oven, you will see the oven climb to around 475 and stay there for a few minutes while the panel says the temp inside oven is only 345. If you then set the oven down to bake at 345 in hopes of still being able to cook something before your house burns down, the oven will inform you that it is actually only 340 degrees in the oven, and continue blazing away until it is satisfied. It will eventually beep to let you know it is ready. At that point, ensuring there is no flammable material within 10 ft, you will need to open the door and leave it open for about a minute to let it cool down. Once the oven has cooled down, you are now ready to cook, and the oven works flawlessly. I agree that the gas knobs are easily turned on when you brush against it, but thats just the way it is and I can live with it. Gas burners work flawlessly and I love cooking on it. Just wish I knew how to turn off the incinerator preheat setting.

My husband and I bought an LG LSXS22423S side by side refrigerator and after less than 2.5 years, the refrigerator quit cooling. I called the consumer line and they did a phone diagnostic test (which was useless) and came back and said, You have had the doors opened too much today. Of course I have, the unit shut down its cooling and everything was defrosted and water was running out the bottom. I am so disappointed in this and was warned by a salesman that LG would not last. I will have to pay $300.00 to $400.00 to have a repairman come and fix it.

We purchased an LG top-load washing machine in early Dec. We waited until Valentines Day for it to be delivered! A new machine was needed after 15 years of washing 4 athletic boys & a construction working husbands clothes! Our trusty Maytag front-load machines were going out. I wanted to buy new Maytag machines but I got talked into LG by the salesperson & fellow customers. I will just state now how truly sorry I am for being swayed into that decision because it was 1 of the worst choices Ive made. I cannot stand this machine! Im not exaggerating when I say my clothes come out of the machine dirtier than when I put them in! The clothes dont even get covered in water! I know theyre environmentally friendly, but even when you use the water plus option there should not enough water to get all the clothes wet! I have to physically get my arms in the machine & agitate the clothes.I called the store we purchased them from and of course since they are used they wont return them. I call LG, whose customer service is in a foreign country and the guy proceeds to tell me in a heavy accent that I dont know how to use the washing machine. Its user error. He didnt believe me that the clothes werent washing and continued to argue with me that I didnt read the manual. I asked what we could do to solve this problem & he told me theres nothing they can do. LG... Lifes good... NOT if you own an LG appliance! If you do buy an LG machine make sure you also buy a washboard! Youre going to need it if you want any of your laundry to be clean!

I purchased a French-door refrigerator. 8 months later, theres no ice maker. Then 1 day after, no freezer. I lost $200.00 worth of food, and no tech was available for 9 days. Finally, a repairman came and said it was too close to the wall and pulled it out and left. It was still not working, so the repairman came back 3 days later. He replaced something to check for leaks and said it should be better in 12 to 24 hours. 24 hours later, it was still not working. Then 45 days later, the repairman returned and said the compressor was no good and that he cannot replace for 5 days. In the meantime we have no refrigerator, he said that he recommended to LG that they replace the refrigerator but they refused.I will never ever buy an LG appliance. It is 4 weeks now with no refrigerator or freezer and living out of a cooler. And customer service says.So what? You have to wait for us to get the parts and service it. They are very rude people. I will never give LG another penny of my hard-earned money. I will let you know if replacing the compressor works.

In 2012 LG issued a recall on a series of ranges due to a major safety issue many consumers experienced with faulty burners. The recall was issued in the first place to have the burners replaced BEFORE there was a fire or injury. However, I just discovered the recall yesterday, and after finding that our stove was subject to it, called LG today to schedule an appointment for repair. What I encountered instead was a stonewalling by the CSRs. I disclosed to them that we had not experienced any issues with the burners, but that as a precaution, we would like to have the repair affected. The CSRs were adamant that unless we had experienced a safety issue, they were not authorized to schedule an appointment. I then insisted that they schedule an appointment anyway, and that I would deal with the tech as to whether the repair was qualified under the recall.I was then finally transferred to another CSR to schedule the appointment. I had to once again go through my reasons for seeking to have the repair done, and since this CSR had internet access, I pointed her to http://www.lgelectricrangerecall.com/faq.php (The first CSR did not have access to this site). At q.3 of the faq, LG itself states that if you have not experienced these problems, you may still use your electric range, but you must still schedule a free in-home repair. Prior to reading this direction on their own website, the CSR was adamant that in order for her to schedule a repair, as a prerequisite, the consumer must be experiencing a problem with the burners. However, after reading it, she then consulted with her manager. After several minutes, the CSR came back on the line to schedule the repair. After I inquired as to what the manager said, she advised that as the direction conflicts with LGs policies, they would be removing the page from the website. I find this to be quite alarming, especially in view of the fact that at least 80 dangerous situations of the burner reaching extremely high temperatures, or not turning off, had been reported and are known to LG, and that over 161,000 ranges had been recalled. As they will be taking the page down soon, if you are interested in following up on this as a possible story, it would be prudent to visit it soon.
