Purchased 11/2014. I had three repair calls with one replacing a motor. Energy efficient, its not. More money spent on detergents, water electricity and the guilt of wearing half clean clothes to my satisfaction. Looking for new washer.

The Washing Machine actually adds minutes and takes forever. We are careful to balance the clothes and only fill half-way and this damn error code keeps flashing. The machine stops and fills with water. Service people are useless. We just bought this machine a few months ago. Now my wife and I have no choice but to do our laundry at a Laundromat. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE. It is a piece of crap.

I called LG and they scheduled a repair for me. I took the day off from work to be home for the repair and 2 days before the repair company calls to tell me they couldnt make the appointment and that LG just tentatively schedules a service call. They never communicated that to me, kept me on the phone for over an hour waiting to get to the correct department and then had me jump through hoops to have the money paid for the repair refunded to my account. I would never buy a LG product again. In addition the dishwasher isnt worth the $1000.00 I spent on it!

I bought an LG gas range in 2008! From the beginning, I have had nothing but problems with it. To get anything done about it, you have to spend hours on the phone and literally fight for something to be taken care of. Now, in 2013, I have peeling knobs on the range. The plastic on the stainless steel knobs is warped, cracked and coming off. My goal for a stainless range was to look nice and professional; now it looks **! I called thinking they would help me. Guess what? Nope! They will do nothing, but they will sell me new knobs at about $70 a pop. Yes, for one knob! Can you believe the insanity and the nerve? We own a restaurant, and I can get a commercial knob for my range for $10. This company is awful. I told the customer service representative I spoke with that I buy a lot of equipment for rental properties and I will never, never buy an LG appliance again. She didnt really care!

My refrigerator is now just 3 months old and has now incurred 5 repairs. LG refuses to replace the refrigerator. You will just get the run around when you contact customer support. When I talk to people and ask why, they say they are supervisors/managers and they do nothing! It’s the worst customer service, which is a shame! As of this posting, I’m still playing runaround on the telephone game. These stainless steel refrigerators are not cheap and you would think after numerous repairs for the same problem common sense would be to replace the unit! I guess they feel they are not too big to fail. To anyone who wants to start a class action lawsuit, please contact me at **.

My old washing machine gave out and I invested in what I thought was going to be a good washer. I decided to splurge a bit in order to get a good washer. I purchased from a 3rd party (JCPenney) so it took 4 weeks plus an additional 2 weeks because it was on back order. So for 6 weeks I was going to the laundromat. I took the day off work to be available for delivery. The delivery guys dropped it off, hooked it up and checked it and it was working. I did my first load of laundry and it would not complete a load. It gave me an error message. All day long I tried different ways around it and nothing. My husband changed the water hoses since it said it was the water pressure and nothing. We called LG that evening and basically was told because it was the water pressure in our home that they would not send a repairman. Our house is very new and our old washer worked fine water pressure wise. We told them to just take it back then and they agreed.Very long story short they would tell us they would take it back and or send a repairman and nothing would happen. We would call back and same promises and nothing. JCPenney has called them various times to have them send someone to repair and they refuse. Now its 2 weeks out and we, JCPenney and even the delivery people have called various times to get it repaired or returned and they refuse. Its insane were having to go through this kind of trouble when its brand new out of the box and we bought warranties on it. Im extremely disappointed in the way LG is handling this situation and I will never buy another LG appliance in my life nor will I recommend to anyone that they do either. They have lost a good customer because we are loyal to brands that are good to us. I wish they would just take this dang washer, refund us and we could just get a different brand. Never again will I make the mistake of buying LG.

I just purchased your $800.00 LG Inverter Direct Drive Dishwasher, Model # LDF6920ST. It does not clean the dishes at all. Im very, very unhappy with your product. The inside stainless steel looks like 7 years old. I have not cleaned my dishes before putting them in a dishwasher since 1992. I cannot believe the electricity/water it uses and how your product - even after rinsing - cannot clean. I feel I need to put an extra rinse to help get the grime off. I have reduced my soap by half and the dishes still feel gritty. There must be something wrong with this. What can/should I do to have a rep come out to see what the problem is?

My wife and I purchased a new 30 cu.ft LG French door refrigerator Feb.15th 2015. Within 6 months we had a defrosting problem, service man came out. A few months later same problem except worse. MELTED AND SPOILAGE. Service man came out. Kept replacing the same part. Now I must have LG EXTENDED WARRANTY, A LG CONTRACTED service man came out, he was saying NO its a compressor. He came out again. HE TOLD THEM ITS A COMPRESSOR. They thought they (LG) knew better. Finally a LG Co. Repair man came out, with a compressor. Problem solved. Each time I called for service IT WAS 2 WEEKS before it was put in, even though it was not right. The last time it was 3 weeks but problem solved. I had to purchase another refrigerator, NOT A LG. It is performing great. A GE, I HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE THIS LG for about 12 WEEKS because of being ordered and BEING WRONG part. The customer service IS SO BAD. Then, the last time LG service came out, I was charged $395 because the ext. warranty had expired. My purchase date from SPENCERS APPL. Feb.15th 2015, $2750.

I bought the LG dryer and a front load LG washer a few years ago. I have had many problems with both and when I have called lg customer service I have been treated horribly. I could barely understand the person as they clearly didnt speak English as their first language. I even told them that I would be filing complaints against them only to be told to go right ahead!! They could care less about their customer service ratings! I have also had a difficult time finding a repairman that works on LG and the same goes for trying to find parts locally. I was told that they didnt carry LG PARTS and it would take a very, very long time to get the LG PART in stock!OWNING THE ABOVE LG APPLIANCES HAS BEEN AN ONGOING NIGHTMARE!! All of the lettering on the washer rubbed right off right away as if the letters were erasable! I called their customer service only to spend 45 minutes and getting absolutely nowhere!! I was told to not touch the few letters were left as the warranty had expired! I asked if they could send me replacement letters that I would apply myself. As this was a defect and the warranty expiring shouldnt even be factored in! NOT a warranty issue! Its a product defect!! Typical LG customer service... they didnt care that it was a product defect! Was told I could purchase the letters from them!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I had hoped to be an isolated case?? Only to learn of many more cases like my experiences!!! (on multiple websites like this site!!) However, on a positive note... We have 4 LG flat screen tvs and knock on wood, theyve been awesome!!?!? JUST SAY NO TO LG APPLIANCES!!!

We bought a front loading washer and dryer. About three years later, the washer is shaking so hard it sounds as if it will tear down the walls and cave in our floor. The washer shakes so hard, it moves across the floor knocking into other items as well as the dryer. We called LG and were told it is no longer under warranty, but shaking was due to an unstable floor. I told her the floor has not changed, only the washing machines performance. The representative stated that all of the washers shake a little, this was to be expected. I asked if there was a part that could be replaced to stabilize the machine. She said no, there was no such part.A few days later, I looked up an appliance repair company that works on LG appliances in our area. The repairman told me LG had this problem and it just needed the struts replaced. So we had them replaced. It was better, but not as stable as before, not like any of the previous washers Id had throughout my life. I trusted LG to be an upgrade in quality. It was not. After only six months, it is as bad or worse than before the struts were replaced.Additionally, weve put heavy duty pads underneath. It just walks right off the pads, tipping over as if it will fall on its side. This washer is worse than the old wringer type with the incredible noise and the bouncing and moving. My husband and I have to restrain it or turn if off. And like some of the other owners, it does have a stinky, moldy smell. Mold is not normal in a machine designed to clean. Ive been leaving the door open after each wash, spraying inside the drum with Lysol or Windex.Cleaning clothes is an effort toward good hygiene. Moldy water defeats that purpose. Yes, standing water creates mold, but what is wrong with a design that causes mold to proliferate like this. Perhaps Maytag, Kenmore, or GE could teach the engineers at LG something about designing for public use. If this were normal, as the rep would have us believe, it would seem appropriate to include these features in the sales material - LG Front loading washer has a normal smell of mold in the machine which naturally transfer to your clothes. Another very normal feature that astounds LG consumers is the washers ability to mimic a wild bucking bronco, leaping and jumping out of its stall. It is a relatively expensive purchase. Consumers expect quality to equal cost to equate value. I dont want to feel like I have been duped and bought a piece of trash. LG has changed my opinion of its products - washer & dryer, refrigerator, microwave, internet TV - I cant trust them no more! We believed that your Life is Good motto included us, not just you.

Special ordered a large LG refrigerator on the recommendation from the salesman from Home Depot. The outside of the refrigerator dents with just the push of your finger. So needless to say looks awful. I bought the extra warranty. I called LG, said warranty is up. As soon as the warranty ran out. We have a frost built up in the freezer. Every 3 months we manually have to take everything out and defrost the freezer. An ice built up under the drawer, snow on everything, cant even close the freezer until this is done. Its only 6 years old. A refrigerator should last longer than this. Flapper between the french doors quit working, so you manually have to close this before you can close the doors. I would never buy this refrigerator again or would recommend to anyone. We paid a lot of $ for this thing.

Gave us 2 numbers for repair facilities, both would charge us to come and look at it. Then they have to send their finding to LG to get parts. Both companies told us that we would be responsible for trip charges plus anything LG doesnt cover. We are cutting our losses and getting rid of this piece of junk. LG should not be allowed to sell in the US until they come out with a quality product. No more LG appliances for us.

We have had the worst experience with our front load LG Washer. It does not wash clean, the clothes come out dirty. It does not wash and rinse with enough water, sometimes when a load is in the rinsing stage I look inside, I can see some part of my clothes are still looking dry... I have been doing laundry for 30 years, I had Whirlpool, Samsung washers, I never encountered any problem. With LG it is a headache, I never had to use bleach, now I find myself using bleach when washing my towels. This is not my only problem. The machine displays 53 minutes for a cycle but then the whole process ends up taking like 2 hours. Our machine is under warranty so we called them twice and both times the repairman came and basically said that there is nothing wrong with our machine, it is doing what is supposed to do. I believe that it was not built right, there was be some errors in the way they designed it. It should not even been called LG washing machine, it should be called LG dirtying machine. I will never buy any LG products again.

We bought this LG gas dryer (model DLG 2141w) back in October 2011. We have kept the lint filter clean and washed. It was under normal use and now we have a circuit board problem. The dryer is just 50 days past the warranty. LG product sale presentations say theyre strong but what cheap circuits they must have. Plus the customer services for our tech that researches it was poor. I took a lot of time on hold and the part availability is almost impossible. We have been owners of LG appliances for over a decade. We bought them all
We have been owners of LG appliances for over a decade. We bought them all washer, dryer fridge and dishwasher. We have had problems with several them for which we have received no appropriate support. First it was the washer or all the writing came off the front within 3 months. I was told there was nothing they could do. They couldnt send me new letters to reapply. Oh well too bad. We moved on. Then there was a dishwasher conveniently right after the one-year warranty we had a problem and had to pay $250 for service call for which the gentleman was here for a mere few minutes to fix the problem that most likely could have been fixed over the phone with direction, not costing us $250.Then just 14 months after this we end up getting a pinhole in the drain hose of our dishwasher which floods our sons basement bedroom. Causing numerous panels of our ceiling to be damaged and need replacement not to mention the wood floor below it that is lifting. All these are problems associated with a faulty dishwasher. When we call to report this problem we were told we had to buy a new hose mechanism and that would solve all of our problems. So sorry about the other damage to your home, not our responsibility. So we paid the almost $100 for a new hose, waited a week for it to be sent to us and we had it replaced. Then we come to find out; Oh so sorry your dishwasher must be reset by a specialist. Yep you got it. Another $250 will be necessary to get your dishwasher Ive only a few years back up and running. If the first rep had told us that then the hose would have been covered in the service call.So we are expected to spend $600 on a dishwasher that cost us 800 within a few years. Not acceptable. We ask to speak to a manager. After holding for almost a half an hour we get told a manager will call us back. We are third in line. That was last week. It is now Tuesday and we are still waiting for a return call. I will never again never purchased any LG products whatsoever. I will also share my opinion for these products openly and freely as I am doing with you. I have worked in a manufacturing environment for many decades. What I can tell you is no manufacturer is 100% perfect. But, what shows a great manufacturer is what they do after a problem is brought to their attention. It is apparent LG doesnt care after you spend your hard-earned money on a product of theirs. They will ignore you, push you away and not care whether you buy another Appliance or not because they are of the false impression that we will forget about this and spend our hard-earned money on another one of their faulty products. That will not be the case at least with us. So I warned you check in to the manufacturer and how they deal with customer service complaints before you spend your hard-earned money on anything of any manufacturer but especially LG.

We also purchased LG washer/dryer, high end stainless steel. Washer is ok but we have experienced same problems as many others. The dryer LG Tromm DLE3777W never dried clothes correctly. It takes 90 minutes to dry an average load of clothes. An energy star product it is not. The repair guy gave us the same ** about the vent being dirty or clogged. Never was the case. Actually sounds like the repair guy was reading off a script. The second time to the house, the repair guy stated that the dryer was operating as designed. The real problem is that Home Depot is selling this stuff. Home Depots reps are promoting this stuff and LG doesnt stand behind their product. Two options: contact the Better Business Bureau in your state (they are usually really good) and the second option is contact your state Attorney General. LG is selling a defective product and that, in every state, is fraud.

I like the ice machine and able to adjust the temperature to your liking, also how it is long-lasting and always keeps things cold. Also you never have to worry about food going bad because it keeps everything super cold. What would improve the refrigerator if it came in more colors and a wider variety of ice textures to fit everybodys personal needs and also wish it had a ice cream maker to make ice cream or ice pops or another cool thing would be a coffee maker button to make coffee of any kind you want. It has been my expectations, a 10 out of 10 and it was on sale and most importantly it was recommended to me by my friends. I have no regrets purchasing this item. We made it 4 years with our LG refrigerator, purchased at Lowes. Everything was fine except that it wasnt cooling. Every single thing was fine except the air was blowing warm. No other problems. It was as if it just needed coolant. We have now been without a refrigerator for 10 days and almost every part has been replaced including the compressor, dryer, refrigerant, and other miscellaneous parts. Today we learned that they have to order a circuit board. The repair technician has no sense of urgency and seems totally clueless. We called LG Service to let them know what was happening and they had all the records of our 3 repair visits in the last 10 days but were totally unsympathetic and said that we are stuck until the repair guy can fix it. We bought the annual service agreement for $465 and expect better service for that kind of money. We have lost hundreds of dollars of food and are living out of a cooler. I love LG products but I will never buy another one because the service is the worst we have ever experienced. The only positive thing I can say is that he has used a freaking blow torch on every visit and hasnt damaged our hardwood floors...YET.

I have an LG French Door Refrigerator Model # LFX25971ST. The icemaker, front control panel and water dispenser stopped working. I contacted LG to set up a service appointment. The LG technician came out and diagnosed that it was one of three possible circuit boards. He had to order them which required a second visit. The boards didnt fix it. So, the technician did further diagnosis and thinks that a bad wire in the left door is bad which would require replacing the door. The door is sealed so he cannot get to the wire to fix it. What a stupid design. Anyway, he has to come back for a third visit. I contacted LG customer assistance or should I say crap assistance, and requested a goodwill adjustment since my fridge is out of warranty. I felt my request was reasonable because of the amount of time I lost from work, there was nothing I did to cause the failure, and because of a poor design the repair would be a lot more expensive. The LG agent asked me to scan and send in my sales receipt and he would follow up and get back with me with a decision. That was a week ago. I finally called again and as usual, with these customer service centers you get people that are clueless. She told me she would put my request in but it takes about three business days to get a decision. I told her that I did this a week ago. Then she started telling me my fridge was out of warranty. Duh! Really? You know, if its out of warranty and LG doesnt want to back their products, thats life, but they didnt even keep their promise and call me back with a decision. I remember when refrigerators lasted for 30 years. Now, I think LG puts in all this useless electronics which just causes more things that go wrong, forcing customers to have to pay to keep their refrigerators running. Anyway, LG is off my shopping list forever. A Fridge that breaks thats only four years old tells you what kind of quality they have but hey they back that up with lousy customer service. When it comes to LG products all I can say is, Buyer Beware!

Purchased a freezer on the bottom, French door on top refrigerator that ran for six months. When I called LG to repair, I was told originally that I was not in their repair area (A&E). After much discussion, they decided to send someone out (from Sears, not A&E) and my earliest appointment was three weeks away. I had to rent a refrigerator. When they called to say they would be there after lunch, I made the wrong assumption that it would be at least 12:30 to 1:00 pm. Wrong, they got there at 12:15, I did not get there until 12:30 after leaving work. I was not aware that 12:15 was considered after lunch. They would not come back and now I had to wait another three weeks for someone. Again they will not tell me what time they will arrive, just between 8 and 5, even though I requested an afternoon appointment rather than take off all day from work. Very unsatisfied with the service of the refrigerator and the service of their outside repair contractor. If parts have to be ordered, it will be additional time on top of the six weeks I have already waited.

I bought a front loading LG washer. It was one of the more pricey washers. Ive had it for 3 years and now it sounds like a 747 airplane is landing in the laundry room - LOUD grinding in spin cycle. The cost to replace this out of warranty is astronomical as it is a tub and bearing replacement. I posted this to the LG website for reviews and they sent me back an email saying the review did not meet their standards. I guess that is because it was a poor rating?? I will not do business with this company again. My previous washer lasted 10 years and this one only three - think I will skip LG in the future. It would be interesting to know how much LG earns on their repair side of the business.

I purchased an LG washer and dryer WM2140CW about two years ago. The washer did not work correctly from day #1 of installation. The door would only seal if I pressed very, very firmly to enable the lock to engage. However, this issue was such that I was the only person strong enough to make it happen and even then, I would have to close several times over before I could get it to latch. After about four or five visits, changing boards, door locks, and finally a new door, it was fixed. Within the past few weeks, the washer now has suddenly stopped powering on when the button is pressed. Since these devices come with a whopping one year warranty, its now out of that coverage. If I unplug and plug back in, a spark will appear, every time, and it may or may not work for a load of laundry. I contacted LG and they had me do a hard reset, power off, hold the power button, plug back in. After establishing the hard reset was probably not going to do anything, they gave me the names of the local businesses which were authorized to work on the machine. Now, I am looking at parts and labor in access of the original purchase price of the machine. If you buy an LG machine, after coming to this website and seeing a 90%+ unsatisfactory rating, then you get you what you deserve. I know I certainly regret not checking some review sites before my purchase.

Purchased LG refrigerator model LFXS24623S in March 2017. After 3 months, the ice maker would not work properly, (would not tumble ice into bin). Service man replaced ice maker. Waited 24 hrs, checked for ice, no ice! Called again, and same service man came, checked everything, replaced entire unit. Checked next day, still no ice. Same service guy came again, ( I knew him by name by now), said there was a problem with this particular serial number line, he had just received an update by email, replaced entire unit once again, you guessed it, still no ice in bin. Bill, (not his real name) said there was nothing he could do other than replace the fridge. Customer service called sometime later to confirm the replacement to be done at end of August. By 1st of August, freezer would not keep food frozen. Some stuff froze others didnt. By date of this posting, all food in freezer had thawed. We had to throw all the meat products out. We are now waiting for the replacement and hope this one actually does what its supposed to do. Im hoping we just got a lemon as can happen with any products. One other thing, the customer service rep we spoke with did not seem very sympathetic but seemed to treat our phone calls with total indifference.

My mother who lives in LA got a high tech LG fridge about 4 years ago which 2 months ago its compressor stopped operating and from that time she has made 6 different appointments with LG customers service to fix it! Every time they go and have look at the fridge and they say well, its the compressor and we dont have it with us!!! Thats all they do. Then my mom has to call them again and book another appointment which usually takes 2 weeks for them to appear, and the same story goes on! Its such a shame that the summer is going to finish and my mom couldnt use her fridge for 2 months. I wonder if LGs customer service has any ideas about living without a fridge in the summer time at all??? Its while my mom paid about $4000 for an useless huge box to sit in her kitchen! Thats not acceptable, frustrating and were not only gonna stop buying LG products, but also well get a lawyer to fix this problem ASAP!!!!

My front loading washer leaks from the front. Since it is still under the 1 year warranty they sent a technician out, who told me that I have to clean the door of the washer after each use (which I do). Then, they charged me $110 for the visit because it was not a mechanical problem. They never told me that I would be charged for the visit until after the visit.

My sister in MN and I (in AZ) each purchased a new LG top loading washing machine in fall of 2019. We both have a problem with the washer leaving an ashy, white residue on all our black or dark clothing. It happens whether or not we have used soap and even if I just ran the cleaning cycle. Also, the dryer never dries a load of towels on one run. It always stops while the towels are still damp, so I have to run it again. Im very disappointed in these two defects.

Two adult person home and the magnets that hold the bottom door shut do not work anymore unless you push the door shut manually after opening and closing the top door. Highly annoying and the fridge runs far too much because not everybody remembers to push the door closed.

5 years ago I bought a LG stove. Every year since I have to replace the handles. They melt and crack and I find it unreal that any stove would have melting handles as I explained to the service rep. She told me that being it is the 4th time I need to replace them she would try to get them for me at no charge and she would call me back in 2 days with a answer. That was a week ago and I never heard a word. Today I call to find out again I have to purchase them... another 100 bucks. Dont buy from them. They are ripping off customers.

I purchased an over the range LG microwave from Home Depot. It was a reduced price display model, which I guess should have told me that it was a waste of money. Within a year, it stopped working four times (two of these times were within two days of each other). Since it was covered by the one year warranty, it didnt cost me anything, but it was frustrating to be without a microwave while waiting for it to be serviced. THEN... after the warranty expired, it stopped heating on two more occasions. Now, LG state that it would be $160 to have a technician come out to diagnose the problem.I think a microwave that needs servicing six times in such a short period should have been replaced, but LG thinks I should just start paying the $160 per call out for the same, reoccurring problem. I spoke to a supervisor at headquarters who was very unhelpful and told me that the company should not have helped me as much as they did because it was a display model and its history was unknown. She was very combative and arrogant and probably doesnt even realize that she lacks even basic customer services skills and is in need of training. My only consolation is that she is a consumer too, and the same way she treated me, she will be treated at some point in her life. Further, I know now not to purchase another LG product. Hopefully I can save someone else from wasting their money on LG products like I did.

We purchased a stainless French door refrigerator just over two years ago. We have had no issues until recently. We noticed that one of exterior door panels has rust bleeding through the finish from top to bottom on just the one door. We purchased an extended warranty through Lowe’s. I was told it was cosmetic and therefore not covered. The warranty company suggested I contact LG to see if maybe they would do something to make it right. I called LG and explained the situation. The representative did not apologize or offer any kind of support. She just simply told me that it was a cosmetic issue and not their problem. I began to explain how crappy it was of them after I placed trust in their company when I chose to spend over $3k on fridge, she just hung up. Never again LG.

Here is what I did about my problem. I went to Home Depot and bought what is called a Mini-Rester - $10.83 - one each for hot and cold. This is a device that attaches between your water lines and the washer. It has a tube with air in it. When the water shuts off abruptly the air in the tube takes the shock and drastically reduces the water hammer. If you have high water pressure as I do you will need these. You may have to adjust the water down some through the knob on the wall for both hot and cold but eventually you can find a happy medium.

My dryer is 3 months old and has never worked. I have a backup of 8 giant garbage bags of dirty clothes because the drying takes so long. (The 4 yr old washer is fine.) The LG repairman says maybe its the venting but the venting man (when one can be found) says the venting is clear and correctly installed. I have spent days on the phone seeking service!I can only run the dryer on its timer, or else it will quit in about 4 minutes. When on its timer, every 20 minutes I have to open its front door, let out humidity, have an extra washcloth to wipe out moisture and lint from around the front door. This seems to show me that the interior is not designed to let moist air out. Heat goes out the vent but not moisture and lint. Current laundry is still damp after 3 such 20 minute cycles. Because of its recent cost I cannot afford to replace it. You should not have to experience this. Whatever happened to LG?

I like the ice machine, water machine, double doors, Auto cooling, auto temperature, but it wasnt that special. It could have been better to me. The temperature never worked. It would get hot randomly. It would leave water. It would get really cold one day then hot the next. It was cheap and lasted only a few years. It would last longer the warranty was bettering dont like it. I wasnt a fan after the first year and it didnt have a for what Im paying for it. I could get a better fridge. It wasnt the best and I should have put out more money to get a better one. It was pretty low and to me it could have been higher and it could have been up to standards and to me it was not and some reason it didnt last more than 45 years and to me thats pretty low for your fridge raider. But it has a great warranty for the last at least 10-15 years. I didnt think it would crash so soon but it did. I should have put more time and effort let alone money into the fridge that I was purchasing.

Contacted Lowes again and was advised to contact LG as they were unable to fix the problem. LG service rep came in August and advised would do nothing since I had not removed the attached stackable dryer. Shortly thereafter 2 boxes containing parts was received from LG with no explanation. LG now tells me to contact Lowes to fix the problem since I will not remove the dryer. Meanwhile it had a couple of recalls on the panel and tub. My LG dishwasher stopped working altogether... I replaced it. The second doesnt clean my dishes well. LG simply does not want to deal with their faulty products and its customer service dep representatives are difficult to understand.

$3,000 5-yr.-old top of the line LG refrigerator still not fixed after 5 weeks! Horrible customer service! LG has not been able to repair it in 5 weeks with 6 visits from repairman. BTW: ONLY PARTS are covered by LG warranty, not labor. If your LG fridge breaks the day after you buy it, YOU pay for labor, and each call involves a minimum of two visits by repairman - one to look at it so he can order parts (they keep nothing in stock) and at least one return to try to fix it.The repairman suggested on his FIRST visit that we BUY A NEW REFRIGERATOR, before he even ordered the new compressor. They do not want to honor warranty. They want you to give up and buy a new appliance! He actually said refrigerators do not last more than 5 years! My son in law has spent hours on the phone (mostly on hold) trying to arrange repairs, been transferred to departments that are closed, been told to call back tomorrow (when departments are closed), and been told that the earliest available repair appointment was 4 weeks away! He has been hung up on. He has been told that they cannot access his records and that the only department that can access his records is not open today (Friday). The repairman suggested more than once that we buy a new refrigerator instead of requiring LG to honor their warranty. Who spends $3,000 on a fridge they expect to last only 5 years?

My wife and I purchased a new LG WT5070CW washing machine in January of 2013. This is a top loading machine. We started to experience mold/mildew smells from the machine shortly after we purchased it. We use high-efficiency soap, use very limited amounts of soap, dry out the entire machine (including the top lip of the washing tub) after every use, remove and empty the soap detergent/softener dish after every use, plus dry it out. We have used commercial after-market mold/mildew solutions to treat the machine. We have also used bleach rinses and vinegar rinses. We purchased a carbon filter bag that we place in the machine when not in use. Nothing seems to help and the smell is getting worse. So much so, that we are considering purchasing a new machine. We contacted LG about our problem and got a canned email response... do this and do that... all of which we had explained to LG earlier that we had already done. By canned, we mean it appears to us as if this response was meant for their front loading machines, as it mentioned making sure to wipe dry the gasket on the door of the machine. Our top loading machine does not have a gasket on the lid. We responded to LGs suggested fixes and asked to talk to a supervisor about this problem. So far, nothing from LG. The LG washing machine and dryer combination were not cheap. LGs customer service department along with their engineering department leave a lot to be desired. We ditched our LG phones earlier this year for Samsung and will probably do the same with the washing machine... although I am not sure what we will replace it with. LG products are problematic and I suspect will not have a lot of repeat buyers.

LG has a good reputation, has stylish fridges that work well and last a long time. LG has definitely met my initial expectations. When I do finally purchase another fridge it will most likely be LG as well. Spacious, keeps items cold, never had an issue with it not working or things getting hot. Very good refrigerator that I expect to last a long time. I would like more door shelves and more drawers though. It does this without you even being aware and the next thing you know the ** house is burning down. This happened 3 different times and luckily I was still in the house when this happened. One time I was getting ready for work and had my dinner packed in a nylon bag and just before I left for work I heard something sizzling in the kitchen and the whole ** bag was on fire. Not happy about this ** at all. Anyway I left one of these reviews earlier asking for advice on what I could do about the situation since LG does not give a ** about these problems according to other reviews. But since my last review a couple of hours ago I went to church and then came home to cook dinner and I realized the only solution to my problem with this hazardous ** stove that cost about $1,700 if you pay full price is to remove the knobs and keep them off at all times and only use them while you are cooking. I now keep them in a bowl on top of the stove and my mind will be at ease especially when I’m not at home. In one review the ** dog turned the stove on while the people were away. I have logged complaint nearly 2 month back regarding lg 258 litres gl-d292rpjl(pg) frost free double door fridge. In which company has not supplied two major accessories like two steel zig zag rods for holding 1.5 liter cold drinks bottles and one chiller door was missing. We observed that main accessories was missing or stolen from fridge. In 2 months the company response was very poor to resolve that issue. One side that mnc is spending scores of rupees in advertisement and another side they are cheating with customer by supplying defective home appliances.Company representative telling me that fridge is not having that accessories but that can be proved clearly by given image that are missing. Now I will take that issue with consumer forum. I have purchased that on 25 Aug 2014 after seeing all the specification of that model. Now company not taking my issue seriously. They are saying that they have updated that model. Please tell me if that model is modified then how that places are vacant in my fridge which is clear in picture. Dealer is also agree to pay the amount of that attachment/Accessories to company but company now telling that accessories are not available. It is total disappointed if that accessories not available then why they are producing that model. Do the needful as soon as possible otherwise I will defame your lg product in social media and it will cost you badly. If you are serious for your company image then resolve that issue as soon as possible.

I purchased a brand-new LG refrigerator on March 1, 2012 for approximately $3,000.00. On July 12, I arrived home to find the refrigerator making a very loud noise. I opened our freezer to find that all of its contents were completely defrosted and sitting in a pool of water. I contacted PC Richards where we purchased it from, and since we purchased an extended warranty with them, they sent someone to fix it for us a week later. Since all of our food had been defrosted, it had gone bad in the extreme heat. A few days before the incident, we had spent our paycheck on stocking the freezer with our meals for the next 2 weeks. We had spent about $150-200 on meats, fish, frozen fruit, frozen vegetables, ice pops, etc. We were now left with no food to eat and very little money. PC Richards informed us that the product was defective from the manufacturer because the freezer fan had failed. I contacted LG, asking to be reimbursed for the $150 (even though, it was more) in groceries that we had lost. I had purchased this machine in March. Never did I imagine in July that something would happen to it or that it would break without any of our doing at all. We spent $3000 on this machine. It is so unfair that we should lose all that money in groceries for no reason. It is unfair and bad business. LG was very rude and insisted there was nothing they could do for us. I dont see how that is possible, seeing as it was their machine. They are a multi-million dollar company, and they put a defective unit on the market. It is only right I be reimbursed for what I lost.

I like the fridges French doors and the way they open up to allow us to access the extra-wide fridge without swinging the door all the way open. Also, it doesn’t take up so much room in the kitchen. LG did a phenomenal job, but I had some issues with the black stainless flaking off. A rep came out to replace the doors, and that was phenomenal. But when they replaced the doors, one side doesn’t shut on its own anymore unless I slam it. I’ve tried calling them back a number of times, but there was no response. That part was disappointing, but the product overall, when it’s set and adjusted right, is phenomenal.

We purchased LG appliances in October 2008 - a beautiful side-by-side fridge, a 5-burner gas range, microwave/hood, and dishwasher to the tune of almost $5,000. We have had nothing but problems with the dishwasher since day 1. LG replaced it once, then replaced the heating coils and then stopped responding to our requests for help. I loved my range. That is until the knobs started falling off and we would smell gas. The range was not even a year old. LG sent someone out to look at it, who told me the burners turned on okay and there was nothing they could do. I contacted LG, explained that the gas would turn on from just brushing by the range and we would not know it until we smelled gas. They agreed to send replacement knobs. I noted that, in the subsequent model, the stems and knobs had been redesigned. I assume because this was a universal problem.I continued to complain about the safety; however, once I explained that there was no safety issue if the knobs were replaced, LG agreed to continue to send me new knobs whenever needed. Since that time, I have called about once a year for a new set. I contacted them today and after over an hour of arguing, was disconnected after being told the stove is out of warranty and they will no longer replace the knobs. I explained that I paid $1,500 for this range and the complaint/concerns were raised during the warranty period. I actually had to take pictures of the online chat with my cell phone after I was disconnected. At this point, I am contemplating a class action suit primarily due to the safety concerns related to having the gas on without the burner. I refuse to pay $350 for a new set of knobs every year. As an aside, I have noted that LG has stopped making ranges.

WT5001Cw washer purchased on 3/17/12 from Sears. Contacted Sears within 1st year to say washer would not dispense hot water. Sent tech out and was told LG said working according to specs. Tech told me to purchase extended warranty so machine would have to be replaced if 4 service calls were made in 1st year for same problem. I did that and then Sears said it didnt apply because LG said working according to specs. After Sears sent 4 technicians out over a period of 1 1/2 years and after the 1st year manufacturer warranty ran out, I was told that nothing could be done.My argument is: I should have been told at purchase or stated in the manual that the machine would not dispense water above 98 degrees, even though it had a hot water selection on it. 98 degrees scientifically is considered lukewarm and the machine will not go above 98 degrees which prohibits me from killing microorganisms in bed linens and bacteria in reusable baby diapers. Sears would not help me and referred me to LG. LG said they cant do anything because the machine is past the 1st year warranty, even though I contacted Sears, who contacted LG within that 1st year. Sears continued to send technicians out with non-workable ideas to get hot water when the bottom line was, it is impossible to get hot water. The machine mixes cold water even when the setting is on hot. I have written to Sears CEO Eddie Lampert and LG corporate office and received responses Sorry but we cant help you with this problem.

I purchased a brand new LG refrigerator for $1,500. Refrigerator suddenly stopped working last week, spoiling hundreds of dollars of food! Called a repairman who made an in-house visit and LG customer support, both confirmed that I need a new compressor. LG confirmed that compressor is covered by 7 year warranty but labor charges are my responsibility. They provided me with a couple of authorized repair places to call. I received several quotes for labor ranging from $650-$850! The refrigerator isn’t even worth that! LG has refused to do anything to fix or compensate for this!!! What a scam, I demand a full refund and will be joining a class action suit against LG for this fraud and encourage all to the same immediately! If anyone has had the same issues you can reach me at: **.

We called appliance repairs only to find out that the compressor cannot be replaced because LG stopped making those compressors!! We called many appliance repair places all with the same result! This is ridiculous and It only lasted 1/2 the life they boast and advertise!!?? False advertising!!

We live in Westchester County in NY. I spent $3,000 on a counter-depth french door with linear compressor, the model number was LFXC24726S. Well, it only lasted two and half years, then suddenly one day it stopped cooling. Contacted LG directly and they told me to call a local authorized repair shop for a checkup. It took days for the local shop to answer my phone call and then another few days for a appointment. The technician told me the linear compressor was gone and needed to be replaced. Also the circuit board was faulty, it resulted in lower voltage than normal. Although the compressor was covered under the warranty, its value was only $360. It is the labor to replace it my friend that is expensive, about $1100. Even if I had it fixed, its not guaranteed to last another year. So I just decided to buy a new one. This time its not going to be LG.

We brought an LG french door refrigerator model LMX28987 ST on September 9 2009. Jan 2010 the right side bin of the fridge door started to crack so we had to call customer service to get a replacement. A few months after that the top freezer door would not close shut, with ice forming around the edges. We called customer service to help us with this situation but all they told us was that they could not help us because our warranty expired. We asked to buy one right away but they said they count not extend it because it has already been over a year... so ridiculous. Now we have to pay for the damages of this fridge with the money in our own pockets when the company could not even build a fridge that can last us more than 2 years. Horrible customer service. I wouldnt even buy a single product from them again. Cheap materials that break so easily. Life is not good with LG products in the house.

I purchased the above noted range back in March 2014. Just recently, there is this noise from the fans when you turn the oven on. It does not matter if the oven is on convection or just nonconvection mode. The same noise still exists. We live in Saint John New Brunswick. I called a few appliance companies to service the oven. I was told, we do not service LG ovens.I went to the facility that sold me the oven and asked if they knew of a service representative. I learned from the store that sold the appliance, there is no one in the area that services these LG products!! The water doesnt even cover the load of clothes and, besides the streaks of soil and dirty spots, they even have DRY spots on them. How can this be called clean? Even my underwear doesnt come clean and they are delicate but I wash them on hot and regular wash rather than delicate! We purchased an LG Tromm Washer in 2005. Shortly after purchasing, we noticed a moldy smell in clothes and on towels. The whites get marks on them as well. As I cleaned around inside, I noticed (over time) a nasty, moldy, slime buildup inside of gasket and output valve would drain nasty sewer water. I have very 3 sensitive children that have allergies and I have asthma as well. This is harming, not helping out health! Also, the detergent dispenser drawer somehow gets stuck a number of times. In order to release it, you have to slide washer away from wall, unscrew the top and pivot it up and slide until you view the drawer then release it. I called customer service and they blame me, telling me I am not cleaning it well enough or just change the subject or ignore completely!

I bought a new LG washer and dryer from Home Depot. It has been the worst experience ever. The dryer has never heated so I called LG and they said it’s not vented properly. It is. One week later the dryer sparked flames over to the washer twice causing burns on the sides of both machines. I have talked to multiple people and supervisors with no resolve. They sent a repairman after two weeks and he told them there is a problem inside the dryer and the issue still remains unsolved. They are the worst company with the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. If you buy an LG good luck. I suggest anyone else.

I would like to inform you that I am using LG home appliances past 15 years, like TV, Refrigerator (LG-225BEDG5), Washing machine (T7267TDDLL), Microwave Oven (MH-6340PS), Split AC Inverter Type 1.5 ton etc. I have purchased the Refrigerator in Dec 2012. While defrosting the fridge normally melted water coming into the plastic tray which fitted above the compressor and it will help for cooling the compressor. In this model the compressor is mounted in a IRON RECTANGLE TRAY and water overflows from plastic tray and enters the IRON Rectangle tray and it get RUSTED due to accumulation of water. This will lead to compressor falling down and damages the product. In view of the above, to UP KEEP the GOOD WILL of LG Name and product kindly look into the matter in deserving seriousness. I suggest that present positioning of THE RECTANGLE PLATE BE REVERSED and mount the compressor on that, so that water will not be accumulated in the tray. Normally since this part is coming behind the refrigerator, this defect will not be visible before it is too late. This is only a suggestion for your consideration, myself being a regular customer of LG (Life is Good) brand.

Soon after we bought this model on 7/28/09, we had to replace the circuit board as a result of what the repairman said was a design flaw, whereby using the self-cleaning mode will burn the circuit boards out if you use them more than once a year. I purchased my washer 7/17/2014. On or about 3 weeks ago I noticed a little puddle of water on the floor. I didnt think much about it, then the next day I was washing a load of clothes, and the little puddle became a flood. I called Lowes, Moreno Valley, California where I purchased the machine, and told my salesperson what had happened. he stated, Lets just bring out a new one. That sounded like a good idea since the machine was less than 2 months old. Then I was told, We have to have a tech come out and see what the problem is, before we can do an exchange. Ok, well the tech was scheduled for the next week. I work, so I had to arrange for someone to be at my house for the tech. (in the meantime - Lowes did send out a loaner machine, I have to do laundry. So the tech came out, and because the machine was not hooked up, he said he couldnt do anything and Lowes would have to have someone come and put the washer back in the laundry room. I called and spoke with my salesperson. So now they are going to send another tech out and will have their people come and hook up the washer. The men that came out and took the loaner away and put my washer in the laundry room, managed to put a scratch on the front of my washer. The next day the tech arrives, he tells me there is a hole in the pump, and he will have to order the part. I call Lowes, and am once again told that they will send out a loaner until my washer can be repaired, so here it is Friday 3 weeks later, no washer, and told that Lowes will have someone come out and paint the scratch. First the manager said he would knock of 10% of what I paid for the machine. Is he crazy? I had a new machine, looks like a used one. My complaint is with both LG and Lowes. Both places have given me the runaround, and the worst customer service.

We bought a washer dryer combo from Appliances Connection the end of November 2017. It worked until around Feb 1 2018. It displayed a error code OE. We pull out the owners manual and found out it was a full filter. We cleaned it and it worked for about 3 weeks. Again OE code. We cleaned filter again, not too dirty but the washer worked for week. OE again. Nothing in filter this time. We called LG. They try to walk us through the problem and could not get it to work. They called a repair person. It took 3 weeks for service. The repairman came out. My husband took the day off work to meet him. He was 4 hours late. He look at the machine for about 10 mins said it was fixed. 13 mins into cycle it displayed OE. He was still in our driveway. He went to work on it again. He never took the top off to look inside. 10 mins later he said, Ok its fixed. Went to do his paperwork. 13 mins into cycle OE. He had left. We called and said same thing was happening. Repairman came back 2 hours later. Never took the top off. Said its fixed. Left 13 mins later. OE. Call shop closed. Next day repair shop said it will be 10 days for new repair person. Same guy came out. Hes mad now. Pulled plug on the drain and flooded my floor hardwood. Never ever came to tell us. Took his shop vac and dump the dirt on my front lawn. I have pictures. All area rug soaked. 20 min no top off its fixed. He left. I called LG to tell them of our problem. After 23 calls and at least an hour on hold a piece they agreed they would send a new repair person. New repair person was to come on Saturday. No showed. I called him all day. At 5:30 he returned my call and said he never set an appt. with LG to come. He said he could come in an hour 6:30 at 7:30. John came was at our house for 2 mins. Said he new the problem and would order the part. 1 week later no news. Call LG. They cant help me. I need to call John repair guy. No answer from him. Days pass calling LG and John. Nothing. Weeks later John calls to say he never got the part. I call LG. They say he never requested it. LG said they need a part number to check on it and I would have to get it from John. Called John. No answer. Called LG. Nothing they can do. 2 weeks of daily calls to LG on hold about any hour on avg. John calls me finally the day after LG told me they were going to refund me for the washer and told me he had the part and was coming on Mothers Day to put it in 7 am. I told him we had church and brunch at 9 am. He assured me he would be there. He showed up at 9 am. We did not make church or brunch. 30 mins spent to not taken off. He cleaned the filter and said LG sent him the wrong part but the washer was working. It did work for 4 loads then OE code again. Called LG. Still no refund or replacement or a washer that works. I dont know what to do. We have lost 5 days of work. Over 200 hour on the phone with LG. 45 min one way to nearest laundry at $60 a week. And hundreds of hour of our lives.

I actually LOVE my LG Tromm Washer and Dryer and have had very good luck with the company. Im responding because Ive seen numerous complaints about clothes and towels smelly moldy. I too had this problem with bath towels. Its not the fault of the washer, but rather it is using too much detergent and/or not using HE detergent.Heres what you need to do to get rid of the smell, but it will require two cycles: 1) Wash items with 1 cup of vinegar and no detergent. Add vinegar directly to load not the dispenser; and 2) Wash items again using 1 cup of baking soda and no detergent adding it to the load not dispenser. Wash items on the hottest setting possible. The moldy smell should be gone. From here on out ensure that youre using HE detergent and use the absolute bare minimum as HE detergent is highly concentrated. Any residue left on clothing or towels will act as a binding agent, hence the moldy smells. Good luck!

Updated on 08/30/2019: The leaked water ruined the chill drawer electrics. it is not covered under warranty anymore. I did talk to LG and they agreed to send me a new face for the drawer. Then the tech tells they charge $300 to install it. With LG the hits just keep on coming. Since the tech left yesterday the fridge is at 45 degrees and the freezer is at 20 degrees F. Maybe it will get better later? Consumers deserve better than this.Original review: Bought this refrigerator June 14 2016. The compressor and other parts have been replaced twice. The last time was August 15 2019. Here it is August 19 2019 and it is 40 degrees in the freezer and 60 degrees in the fridge. Again we are waiting on the repairman. Have lost around 200 dollars worth of food each time. It is clearly time for them to replace this lemon with a new fridge but they probably will not. Maybe the third time is a charm but I am not betting a new purchase of groceries it like I did last week. If you bought an LG fridge best of luck to you.

Like thousands of other LG Refrigerator victims my new LG model LSXS26366S died. I had to throw out over $200.00 worth of fresh food, spent another $1000 on repairs. I called LG speaking to call centers overseas trained to kill you with kindness as they provide no help. Then had to pay a local company to look at it, the technicians said I hate to tell you youre screwed sir, a sealed system failure. Compressor. Then LG on the 4th day arranged a company that showed up in the 1970 tiny pickup truck, they do not accept credit cards cash only- yup sealed system failure that will be another $89.00 bucks. $1,100 to fix it. The Federal Trade Commission is allowing LG Electronics USA to continue to rip-off Americans. LG is aware of their defective compressors & systems. I was told they are back ordered in Korea, could be 2 months before parts become available. A Class Action Lawsuit must be filed to protect Honest Americans from this company. Furthermore - If your large retail chain store is selling LG appliances - YOU ARE RIPPING OFF Your customers.

I purchased my LG refrigerator in February 2017. (Note: it is not yet 3 years old.) I absolutely love the refrigerators features: The 3 drawers in the bottom freezer, the ice/water dispenser and maker in the door, the large, wide door shelves, the separate crisper drawer. (BTW, I still love their design.) The problems with this refrigerator began 2 years after purchasing it. Since then, this less-than-3-year-old refrigerator has completely stopped cooling 3 separate times. We have replaced all the parts in the entire cooling system: the compressor, the evaporator, the filter dryer, and a service valve. It has cost us many hundreds of dollars in labor costs, parts, and food loss. It just broke on us for the last time. We are chucking this lemon and buying a new Not-LG refrigerator. If you look online, you will see a class action suit against LG due to their cooling system issues. LG has known that the design of their refrigerator cooling system is faulty, and they have continued to sell them without addressing their design problems. Once the first year of use is behind you, you must pay for these repairs. In my opinion, LG does not deserve your business. More importantly, you DO NOT WANT an LG! No one wants this much malfunction and trouble.

I bought an LG French door Refer with Bottom freezer (model # LFX25960ST). Interior light stayed on, melting the plastic cover. I woke at 06:00AM on 11/19/2011 to the odor of burning plastic. I am a firefighter for 30 years, so I knew what I was smelling. It would not have been much longer before flames would have appeared. I have working smoke detectors in the house, so it may not have been tragic, with regard to loss of life, though the fire damage could have been very costly. After reading so many common instances, I will do my best to spread awareness, starting with the 3,000 active and retired members of the Fire Department I work for. I will be looking for information on recall, or class action suit. Refrigerator is stocked with Thanksgiving food, purchased yesterday. Now, I can not trust the food, and must repurchase. Luckily, I caught this when I woke up this morning. It would not have been long before this started a fire.

We have been having a cooling issues with our LG French Door Refrigerator. We called the 800 243 0000 number a few times. The first time, the associate asked us to reset the unit and wait for 24 hrs. After the unit failed to reset, we called the number since the unit is under warranty. We were told LG does not have service technicians in our area and we will have to go through an authorized service center. The first service center refused to work with us saying they need the original sales receipt even after LG promised to cover the parts. The authorized service center then called me to give an estimate of $1500 without even looking at the unit. After we called LG service to help us find a technician or another service center, the LG executive response team member set me up with another authorized service center, who set up an appointment after LG provided an authorization. We waited for a week for the appointment, only to have the service call and inform us that they made a mistake and will not service LG units. This is after the LG associate was on a conference call with us and the service center a week ago. So after two week of waiting we have no resolution in sight and LG customer service keeps giving us the runaround. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE LG PRODUCTS.

My husband and I purchased an LG Refrigerator, model number LFC23760ST. It was delivered on 6/17/2009. About 1 month later, we experienced getting shocked while reaching for food items while holding on to the door. We called LG, and they told us to call an authorized repair agency and gave us 2 names. We called both of those companies and neither would come to look at our appliance. They said that LG doesnt pay them. We called LG. They told my husband that it must be a problem with the house and not the refrigerator. My husband talked to them on many more occasions, and they said that they would send someone, but no one ever came. Now, the refrigerator completely went out. On October 12th 2011, we called LG. They gave us the same name (1 now) of an authorized repair agency. We called them and they do not come to our area. So, apparently, we never have had any warranty on this product. We did get Sears appliance repair to come out. It turns out to be a blown fuse that is soldered to a control panel. So, $369.00 later and another week without a refrigerator (to order the part), did the short causing us to be shocked cause the fuse to go out? When the repair gets made, will we still get shocked? Why is LG not more concerned about my well-being and that of husbands, and should there be death or serious injury before they will show care at all? Or maybe, the only time they will care is if they are sued and it hurts their pocket book? It has hurt mine both in repairs and loss of groceries. I dont know if anything can be done about this situation but I will never purchase another LG product, and I will tell as many people who will listen not to do so as well. Always remember, if you have a warranty repair on an LG product, no one will come!

The very first time I use the cleaner provided by LG it takes off the black top surface from one of the elements. Called 18885422623 and the person I talked to said theres nothing they can do - is cosmetic. Surely there has to be some defect for the black surface to come off after just one time cleaning with product provided by LG. I did not pay big bucks for the surface to come off & accept that there is nothing LG can do. I have extended warranty too. Honestly regret purchasing LG appliances.

My washer is not 5 years old, the rubber drain hose (from tub to the pump) is ripped and we cannot fix it, we have tried to order from several places, they are saying this part has been discontinue. I thought when I bought this it would last longer than 5 years. We will have to buy another washer, but I will never have any products by LG. I hope that anyone else is buying your products better think twice.

LG counter deep refrigerator - One year after buying the refrigerator, the motherboard went out. One week later, the board that controls water and ice went out. Now, a year and a half after purchase, the covering over the controls for water and ice have peeled off, leaving a very unsightly appearance. Not worth the money. I would never buy an LG again!

Purchased washer less than 2 yrs ago. Direct drive motor busted and LG has NO IDEA when can get motor to fix the machine. THEY DONT HAVE THE PART, NO IDEA WHEN WILL HAVE IT. Guess I wasted my 800.00 on a piece LG junk. Absolutely the last LG purchase ever.
