The plastic water line that runs down the back of the unit has a small crack in it. Every time you use the water or the icemaker fills itself, the unit shoots a stream of water down the wall behind the refrigerator. Now, my wood floors are damaged along with my ceiling below my kitchen. These are the factory-installed lines on the back of my LG refrigerator. The unit is six years old.

I purchased my washer in 2007 and have been pleased with using it. I am now getting a TE error and I cannot get anyone out that will fix it. I called 2 services and both of them will not even come out to work on it. I had another man come out today and said I need a mother board and he told me they no longer make them??? He said it could be the Thermistor and the part cost $40. Funny, I went online and the cost is $7.00. I have taken the machine apart myself and I am willing to put in my own thermistor but I cannot locate it or find someone at LG to help me. I have been told its in the front which I cannot reach and also told its on the top??? No one will even guarantee they can fix it. LG wants $125 just to come out and service it and there is no guarantee they will fix it. Never again will I purchase a LG.

I called the LG 1-800-243-0000 number and was told there would be a $75 service charge plus parts and labor. I purchased my Window A/C unit on 9/14/09. I cannot put my energy saver on mode as the unit freezes over, then I have to turn it off, all the water runs in the floor when it defrosted and I have to mop all the water up. When I called that number, your rep tech told me I needed to run the A/C on 82 degrees. Well if that is the case, no need for A/C as some nights it is 82 degrees here. He was very rude, told me I needed to clean my filter every week, and I clean it every three months. He also told me my unit did not have energy saver and I was standing in front of my A/C reading all the functions with all the controls on it. He had no clue what I was talking about. I will never buy another LG product as long as I live. It was the worst conversation I had ever had with a rep. He did not know what he was talking about. He was rude and disrespectful. I called on July 26, 2011, around 8 or 8:15 p.m. I am very dissatisfied and I will tell my friends that LG has the most unsatisfactory service that I have been exposed to! I will further seek and find a name brand that will stand behind their product, and have faith in their warranty.

I have the top loading LG washer without the agitator. I hate it. My clothes come out in a tangled mess every time I wash them, so much so that some of my clothes have ripped and have holes. This has been going on from day one, I purchased it 5 years ago, I wish I had returned it. I even open it during the rinse cycle and untie and untangle them and by the end of the cycle they are all twisted up again!! I will never buy another washer like this again. Give me back the agitator. I have never minded doing laundry but with this problem I dread it.

We also purchased LG washer/dryer, high end stainless steel. Washer is ok but we have experienced same problems as many others. The dryer LG Tromm DLE3777W never dried clothes correctly. It takes 90 minutes to dry an average load of clothes. An energy star product it is not. The repair guy gave us the same ** about the vent being dirty or clogged. Never was the case. Actually sounds like the repair guy was reading off a script. The second time to the house, the repair guy stated that the dryer was operating as designed. The real problem is that Home Depot is selling this stuff. Home Depots reps are promoting this stuff and LG doesnt stand behind their product. Two options: contact the Better Business Bureau in your state (they are usually really good) and the second option is contact your state Attorney General. LG is selling a defective product and that, in every state, is fraud.

After 1.5 years the refrigerator does not work! All of my food is spoiled & frozen foods are thawed. Service man came out & just for labor $465 on top of the 2,700 I spent on the refrigerator 1.5 yrs ago. Customer service is a joke!! Theyre unwilling to do anything for me. My old refrigerator lasted 30 years. I shouldve bought another whirlpool!!! Basically LG is selling piece of crap products to continue making a profit off of people every time they break. DONT BUY LG!!! I wish I wouldve seen these reviews before buying!!!

I thought LG was a reliable brand so we purchased a brand new refrigerator in 2015. Starting this year the food has not been kept as cold and the defroster keeps failing to the point where the fan keeps rattling due to ice build up. Been dealing with the issue for months and still waiting for the issue to be resolved via a technician who says he is so inundated with LG refrigerator problems, he can barely keep up with the demand. He received several calls for appointments even while at my house working in my refrigerator. I’ve basically decided to continue try fixing this fridge and using it as a beat up back up fridge now in the garage. I will be looking into other reliable brands to replace the refrigerator inside the kitchen. I’m tired of my food going bad and having to unplug the fridge every 2-3 weeks to defrost until the issue is resolved.

After just having bought my first home, I really wanted to splurge and buy
After just having bought my first home, I really wanted to splurge and buy a nice big beautiful $3,400 stainless steel refrigerator as a center piece. But buying this expensive LG LMXS30776S was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. At just 2 years the thing is broken and will no longer cool. I came home one night to find that all of the ice in the ice maker had melted and puddled onto my hardwood flooring and all of my food was spoiled. Completely dismayed that my refrigerator is now cooling at 60F I called LG. They sent a tech out and he diagnosed a failed sealed system. To have a failed sealed system in 2 years is truly, truly remarkable. But you then think to yourself, Well thats ok though, sealed system is under warranty right? NOPE! The parts might be covered by warranty, but the LABOR is not. And apparently sealed system is a specialty repair service and I was quoted at $850-$1100 on the low end JUST OF LABOR.And then you think to yourself, Well Jesus, thats unbelievably expensive, so you call LG and ask them why they are selling $3400 refrigerators that dont even last 2 years? What kind of product quality are they really putting out? And they dont back up their own products? We work hard for that kind of money and consumers deserve quality assurance for their purchase. Agent very reluctantly escalated my case and I was eventually granted an exception to cover labor under warranty as well, but now heres the most interesting part. I called their authorized service provider to come back out and fix it, now with a warranty exception code but they flat out REFUSED to come back to work on the thing because apparently LG has stiffed them multiple times on warranty repairs. So LG is not only stiffing their customers with cheap and faulty appliances but they are also stiffing their own authorized service providers on warranty reimbursement to repair their cheap and faulty appliances. But you could figure that would happen if so many of them break right? Its not good business for LG to repair everything they build. So at this point, it has been 1 month since Ive had a working refrigerator. There are literally only two service providers in my area that can fix sealed systems and are authorized to work on LG (a huge amount of service providers dont even want to work on LG, so let that be the giant red flag for you.) But of these two service providers, both of them refuse to do any warranty work for LG whatsoever. I guess I wouldnt want to either, if I wasnt getting paid for my work. I have been in contact with LG daily about this, asking to give me a real solution, but they just keep giving me lip service and lists of more and more service providers, all of which are completely out of the state and cant even come here because they are not licensed outside of their own state. Ive gone through 20+ service providers that LG has given me and its the same story over and over. We dont service your area, we arent licensed in your state etc etc.I tried explaining this to LG repeatedly but they either dont listen or dont care. Or perhaps they already know, but they just give you an endless run around with no real solution. The last agent I talked to just bluntly told me Im SOL. So ask yourself this, what good is a warranty if their own company wont back it up? What good is a warranty if no service provider will accept it because LG is scheming them out of their money too? At this point I can either pay $1200+ for parts and labor out of my own pocket and reinvest back into this terrible piece of garbage that I am confident will just fail again in the near future or I can just take this thing out to the backyard and blow it up and buy a different brand. And really, in full and total honesty, Im much more inclined to do the latter. Because I will never trust my food in this thing ever again, even if it gets fixed.I will never trust LG again. Im now just far too ashamed to even have the LG symbol in my household now that I know the truth of this company. Yeah, youre sitting there reading all these reviews because this is a big purchase for you, just like it was for me. And youre thinking to yourself, This poor guy, he just got unlucky that his broke so early, but mine wont be like that and even if mine does have a problem, I have this great LG warranty right? You dont. LG is proven to have cheap and faulty products and they have proven that their warranty is completely meaningless because THEY HAVE NO INFRASTRUCTURE TO REPAIR IT ANYWAY. Youre better off buying 30 mini refrigerators for the same price and then just replacing them as they break throughout the years... But the truly sad part is... You wont need that many because one cheap $100 mini fridge will still last significantly longer than any giant shiny piece of junk you buy from LG.

I bought an LG gas stove a year ago and a microwave as well. What a piece of junk the stove is! It does not heat up fast. It takes 20 min to come to 350 and it does not even heat up right. I am always burning food which never happened unless it was my fault. It has 2 temps burnt or raw! I do use it a lot but that is no excuse. The blue interior has a haze on it I cant get rid of, I have tried everything under the sun. If there was a way to get my money back or fixed the interior I would but Google is no help. Now the microwave, it went out 6 months ago I called them it took another 3 months for them to get someone to come out and we live in Northern VA not a rural area then another 3 months to get someone out to fix it. We hardly ever use it (the microwave) and to have the control board go out at 6 months is crazy. I got the extended and its acting up again! I dont think I can ever buy an LG product again. If I had the money I would junk the stove and get something else. But I dont. I somehow doubt LG even cares. Neither one was cheap.

Our LG fridge LFX28978ST /04 stopped cooling. We lost everything we purchased in groceries to last us a while during this pandemic. It is a compressor issue from their linear compressor. We called LG and they verified it is a compressor issue but had to pay out of pocket cost for technician to come out and the repair cost while they supply the part. The technician came out and in under 20 mins, said it was a compressor. The cost for that 20 mins, $85. The service cost for the technician to perform the work, $890. The cost for the compressor from LG is less than $260. At that cost I would rather buy a new fridge. I called and complained to LG. They gave me 3 other technicians BUT I will have to pay new labor costs. They said I could explain to them that it was already diagnosed, which all the technicians said this is false and they will have to perform their own diagnosis.1 of them did not answer, the other said he has not touched LG fridge in over 7 years and does not want to. I called LG because I was not getting anywhere and they advised that I can call any local technician and they will approve the technician to perform the service. I have called about 6 local places and ALL OF THEM will not touch LG refrigerator. All of them said one thing or the other about LG refrigerators. I am getting nowhere with LG and it is a very frustrating time right now for me and my family to get the run around and nothing in the fridge. LG will not even reimburse me the cost of my groceries until the technician performs a $890 repair that they only have to fork out $260... Beware, if you buy LG fridge, prepare for the runaround and NO technician wanting to service this and if they do, the cost will be ridiculous. This is totally unacceptable and I can see why there is a class action suit against this company. I will be posting on all social media how LG handles its customers on an item they know is flawed. Hopefully I can deter others from buying LG refrigerator. I wished I searched this site before buying an LG refrigerator. I am getting no help whatsoever from LG... NONE... They will have you doing all the leg work and calling for nothing...

LG front load washer (WM0642HW) - The washer vibrates horribly when in the spin cycles! Our whole house shakes! You can hear the vibration outside the home! The floor vibrates when washer is in spin cycle! We have bought several different kinds/brands of shock-absorbers and installed them under each leg of the washer. Still no help! This is obviously a manufacturing defect. We called LG and they sent a certified LG appliance repair man to our home. All he would tell us was: LG makes a great product and use less than half the recommended amount of detergent to control the ‘smell’.” This is my second contact to you. Do you have other complaints against LG for this same problem? LG should replace my unit. I am willing to trade down just to get rid of this vibration! I have matching dryer. Together, these appliances were $1900.00!

This has been the most horrible experience I have ever had with an appliance. Purchased this back in 2016 and have now had five compressors on this refrigerator. Last compressor was installed on September 5th, and it still doesnt work. LG coming back out on September 11th to replace it again. Purchased three year warranty and because all repairs werent taken care of by the warranty company, they wont honor it and replace or refund our money. LG has stated multiple times they will continue to inconvenience us as long as they can keep replacing compressors. They only offered a one time $200 refund for food lost. Weve now lost an entire refrig/freezer full of food four times. Will never purchase an LG appliance again, and will make sure everyone I come in contact with knows the experience Ive had with this company and how LG cares nothing about the way they treat their customers.

Bought an LG top load washing machine. True Balance is a joke. This has been the worst washer I have ever purchased. I made the mistake of not returning it immediately. Because it was very different than your typical agitator machine I didnt realize how bad it was until I began getting the constant UE code. My water and electricity bills have increased because of the constant filling and running in an attempt to balance the load. Bought it from Home Depot. LG has no service people in my area. Can you believe it - they sell the darn machines in my area but no service. I cannot believe this machine hasnt been recalled. Well, Im thoroughly disappointed with my Tromm washer and dryer. The latest failure was the last straw. I have now officially paid more for repairs than I paid for the appliances, and they have been banished to the garage, and hopefully Ill find a buyer, but the word must be out about LG, because Ive had no takers. The washer never has cleaned well, and took forever to do that. The technician said to get a top-load domestic brand, so I went to Lowes and purchased the largest top loader with a spindle that GE makes.Im through with LG, and the repairman said Samsung is no better. So, I guess you could say Im through with Korean products. Thank you very much Korea. Isnt it hysterical that the pendulum has finally swung back towards American products being more reliable and well-built? The way it used to be when I was growing up. Heres the really ironic part. When I bought the Tromm, I sold a Kenmore Series 80 pair to a friend for $100.00. She is still using them and has never had to have a repair. I want them back! I guess the joke is on me, but you know what they say: Fool me once...

I am only submitting review to hopefully help someone who may have gone thru the nightmare I have been thru the past 2 years since I purchased my LG True Balance Ha washing machine. The first year I had this machine I would get a UE Code on the machine occasionally! I would readjust clothes and finally get the machine to spin. It got worse and worse over the next year up until the point I would quit washing clothes and my husband would take over where he would use his level and make sure the tub was level so the clothes would spin. My washer is in the basement so he would get missing for awhile and I knew he was waiting on the washer to spin, because if you dont wait the machine would fill up and try to rebalance its load (what is smart about that). I have called the helpful customer service only to be told it would cost $90 for a service tech!My husband would get frustrated and I would take over and so it went! Today for the first time I washed 4 or 5 loads of clothes without 1 error! Actually it has gotten better over the last month. What did I do? I stopped using commercial liquid soap! I found a recipe on Pinterest. My theory is the soap gums up and throws the computer off. I hope this helps someone who felt as though they we going insane as I was. With all this said I will never buy another LG product as they do not stand behind their products or they would admit this washer is a piece of junk and recall all that was sold.

It continues to grow daily and is not cosmetic to me. I have never had a washing machine rust out on me, what will this look like after 3 years? 5 years? If it lasts that long. There were some huge lawsuits back many years ago with auto manufacturers and rusting vehicles. Maybe an attorney should look into a class action suit against LG. Updated on 04/16/2020: As follow up, after I posted a complaint about my microwave, LG posted a reply on ConsumerAffairs which implied that they would look into our complaint. Wrong! We received a call today 4-16-2020 from the next level supervisor who said you received bad information from our customer service rep but we still cannot honor our warranty. This was the second LG microwave we had purchased, and the second to fail. This last one after about 4 months. One of the last LG reps we spoke to said there was no problem with our reimbursement paperwork and the warranty reimbursement check would be sent right out. Wrong again! This last supervisor told us that his company gave us bad information on how to file a claim and too bad for us that they made the mistake and now we are out the cost for another LG microwave. Just beware, if you do have issues with your appliance that is under warranty, LG may not honor their warranty even after admitting they were at fault.Original Review: We purchased a LG microwave to replace the LG microwave that stopped working after 2 years. After 4 months the new LG stopped working. It was under LG warranty so we called and submitted the warranty reimbursement form. After not hearing back for over a week, we called and they advised us that they needed the serial number from the unit cut in half. We submitted both the form and the serial number. After not hearing back again we called and they told us to submit the cut serial number tag on the actual submission form, so we did that and send it back in. After not hearing for two to three weeks we called again and we were told we also needed the manufacturer tag cut in half and submitted on the form. At that point being over two months of dealing with LG, we had already disposed of the unit. We told the rep and he advised no problem they would be sending the reimbursement check to us.After another week and a half we called in again and we were told without the cut manufacturer tag on the form we would not be reimbursed. We explained that the last rep said there was no issue with this and explained the entire situation again. We called again to be disconnected and called again to be told there would be no reimbursement without the manufacturer tag. After much discussion we asked the rep to send our request to a supervisor. She said it would be another week before a supervisor could look at our request.Bottom line buy a better brand microwave unless you want to continue to replace them and have LG give you misinformation to file a claim under warranty. Had I known their service was this poor I would have never bought any LG appliances. Had we known we needed more information off the unit we would have gladly supplied that at the time but the representatives gave us bad information. There are too many good quality products on the market to settle for horrible service and low quality from LG.

On 3/5/16 while cooking a potato in my microwave, the unit started on fire. The microwave shut off and I needed to wait for the fire to burn out before opening the door. It was obvious the unit was irreparable. I contacted LG Customer Service in 3/7/16. At first, they tried to tell me I was to blame. Misuse of an appliance because I placed the potato on a paper towel. The manual states a paper towel, paper napkin, paper plate are ALL acceptable. The CSR refused to believe me until she read it herself. Finally, she agreed I was NOT at fault and told me someone would be in touch with me within the next 10 business days. I uploaded photos of the damage as requested. 10 days later a rep from LG Property and Liability contacted me. Please upload more photos, which I did. Was there any other damage? No. Any loss of life due to the fire? No. Okay, well theres nothing I can do. Youll have to go back to Customer Service. Now Im back to where I started again facing questions about misuse because of the paper towel. I was advised I would need to pay for an LG technician to come to my house to determine if it was repairable or a total loss. I didnt think I should be expected to pay for the technician since I already knew its a total loss and the photos support that. I asked for a manager. Theresa got on the line and told me the same thing except she said I would need the microwave receipt to show the technician. I explained this microwave along with a refrigerator and stove were purchased by the former homeowner just prior to my purchasing the home 3 years ago, so I did not have the receipt. Well, there is NOTHING I can do for you. Youre not the original owner. So after their appliance starts a fire, and 3 weeks of answering their questions, uploading photos, waiting for their assistance, I was advised Im on my own. They will do nothing for me.

Ive read plenty of horror stories about LGs microwaves on this website, to include how bad the customer service is. I purchased my LG LMV1683ST /00 over-the-range microwave in 2014 (product was manufactured June 2013). Since then, we have had the control board (LEDs burnt out) and the turntable motor (really bad squeal) replaced (in the first year!), and I just had the control board replaced again, today (when you close the door the internal light turns on, and turntable spins, even though I didnt command them to). I was able to get the warranty work done by contacting Lowes (where it was purchased), and they sent out repairmen in a timely manner. For the latest repair, I had to contact LG directly. After reading reviews of other peoples experiences dealing with customer service, I decided not to deal with them, and instead, requested to be immediately transferred to a supervisor. I explained (in a calm, not demanding manner) how this unit has already had 2 repairs, and now needs another one. He understood my concerns, and setup an appointment for a repairman to come out, at no charge. I stated that I thought the issue was the control board again. The repairman came today (LG repairman), was very personable, and had a new control board in hand. Microwave was repaired in 10 minutes, and were back up and running. In summary, the customer service experience was good (because I spoke directly with a supervisor), but the quality of the product is substandard. Lets see how long it takes for something else to fail.

LG has the worst Dish Washer and the customer services are horrible. This isnt well built and smells bad after 6 months. Dish wont stand and will keep breaking as it falls apart. The model LDF7774st, I bought this on 07/04/2014, and it start making metal grinding noises. So I called LG before 1 year warranty is over, and they told me it is normal. I tried to call few more times but they kept saying the same thing. They dragged it and dragged and my warranty is over. Now the LG dish washer I bought it for 700, is completely not working and show AE error sign. I called LG and they are trying to get me in to buy 1 year additional warranty for 400 bucks or 60 day warranty for 300 while they are telling me it will cost me 500+ dollars to fix it. I said ** you and hung up on them. I am so angry at them. DONT BUY LG!!! IT WILL BE YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE.

I purchased an LG washer in July now having nothing but problems with uneven loads and my whites turning yellow. Repair guy seemed agitated he had to come repair my machine which he did not do. He turned the machine on and then started complaining about LG washers and this same problem and left my load of sopping wet sheets in washer and said ordered parts will be back on in a week to fix. So what am I supposed to do with the wet clothes leave them in there to smell up my new washer? Not happy. Want a replacement or monies returned.

I called LG, but was told it was out of warranty and tough luck. They even had the nerve to insist it was my fault for excess ice build up causing fan to fail. I have had my LG fridge freezer for 8 years. A few weeks ago it burst into flames setting my kitchen on fire. I contacted LG who took all my details and a few days later they phoned to say that because of its age there was nothing they were going to do. They did not want to send somebody to check why it set on fire the reason being that they only had a responsibility for the fridge until it is six years old. They said that was a standard across all manufacturers. So if you buy an LG fridge please be aware that they only guarantee their products to be safe for six years. After that they have a buyer beware policy.

DONT BOTHER!!! If the machine isnt bad enough, the service is worst! I paid big bucks for my LG washer and its given me nothing but headaches with water issues (IE) balance issues (UE) and now a leak that fills up my tub and gets your spun clothes totally soaked after my load is done. Whats worse is you cannot find anyone that knows enough to repair it in our area. Im not exaggerating. There were 7-9 technicians that came out (never fixed) and at least that many calls that they never showed up at their appointed time. I usually dont write reviews but I just want to warn all!

Bought my LG REFRIGERATOR on November 18th, 2015. Right away it had a noise coming from it. The first of December 2018, woke up to a puddle of water in front of the refrigerator. Opened the door and the freezer was warm. Called LG, they sent a technician out, he had to replace the compressor and the circuit board, waited 1 week for parts to come in. Technician came and replace the parts. 2 days later, something happened AGAIN, waiting for another week for him to come out (because he was busy doing other repairs), he added Freon, that lasted for 2 days, then the day before Christmas eve 2018, he came out and put more Freon in it. The Technician CANT FIND THE PROBLEM. Now, its December 29th 2018, still not fixed. We been on the phone with LG for the last 4 weeks. All they keep saying is that they will send the repair guy out. Now mind you, I had to throw out over 500.00 worth of food in the beginning. They are going to refund us a check for 150.00 and the Technician already got paid for the job, 250.00. Hes been out 3 times so far, each time for at least 4-5 each time. All LG WANTS TO IS KEEP TRYING TO FIX IT. It seems to me with all of these problems that all of us consumers are having, that they would just replace them... Im still without a refrigerator and have 2 little kids. THEY DONT CARE. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER LG REFRIGERATOR. FROM NORTHEAST OHIO.

First Im 5 ft 2 in, I need a stepladder to reach my close in bottom of washer, pain in the butt, then only 4 yrs old, a valve stuck on filling my washer to overflowing, it flooded my home, ruined my floors and they wont cover anything but fix the washer 2 weeks later, so I would not recommend this product. If I would have left and came back, my home would have been totally gone and my insurance I would have had to use and put out a deductible, and my rates would have went up or dropped because of the malfunction. It was a nightmare trying to get through to the number for your warranty, thank goodness Allen at Home Depot got the ball rolling for me, but would not recommend product or warranty. Last August, I purchased an LG 31 cubic foot side by side refrigerator. A couple of months ago, it started making a loud noise and did not seem to be keeping food as cold. I called LG and they promptly dispatched a repairman. He was wonderful... spent 5 hours in my house and told me he didnt think that it was fixed and would be back in a couple of weeks and to call if there was an issue. A few days later, it started making a different noise and everything in the freezer melted. He came back, looked at some things and said he thought it should be replaced and would start the process with LG and we unplugged it due to the noise. A few days later, LG told him to to come back and try something again. He did, and it started cooling again. So I restocked. Within a couple of days, it stopped cooling again. Repairman came out again, to run some more tests. So, here I am 5 weeks after the initial repairman visit, 4+ weeks after my refrigerator stopped working all together, and several calls to LG directly getting nothing but the runaround. FINALLY, someone called me back, told me they would be sending a replacement 7-10 business days after they send me a form to fill out and I send the form back. AND, they have the nerve to tell me that I am responsible for disposing of the old refrigerator. SERIOUSLY???? What a joke. This must be the worst customer service experience EVER.

The LG website doesnt work and you are unable to register a complaint there. To pre-treat a large cat urine stain on my daughters duvet and cover I poured apple cider vinegar on the spot. Then I put the washing machine on the bulky/bedding cycle, added some more apple cider vinegar, HE detergent and an hour later I put it in the dryer on bulky/bedding setting and chose very dry....twice! Thats an hour for the washer and 2 hours and 10 mins for the dryer. Not only is the duvet and cover still damp but the stain is still there. So tomorrow I am off to the Laundromat where I should have gone in the first place. There is no point in having a bulky/bedding cycle if the machine is unable to handle the load. I will never buy one of these top loaders again. The clothes are NEVER clean and I always have to choose a longer drying time. I feel that LG has misrepresented their product as energy saving!

We purchased the LG front loading washing machine four years ago. It does vibrate but not like a Bronco. It does smell sometimes but we bleach out the machine once a month or so. It does not clean our clothes very well. I have to soak my shirts and pants in a water/ammonia solution before putting them in the washer to get a start on cleaning them properly. I guess if we use high-powered stink detergent, we would not notice a not quite clean smell of freshly laundered clothes, but we dont want artificial stink on our clothes. When my mother sells her house, Im going to trade our inadequate machine for her 15-year old Maytag top loader with the suds saver. We would warn anyone about purchasing this washer. I had no idea that so many people had those amounts of problems with this product. Wish wed read here first. It figures that LG is a Republican supporter, lots of big stink to cover up even bigger stink.

I purchased an LG washer and dryer from Home Depot about 18 months ago. I got their top model at the time top loading. After about 15 months I noticed the paint around bleach dispenser beginning to bubble up and so I removed the blue tray only to find machine has been rusting. I thought perhaps its because when pouring bleach we sometimes get it between the plastic and machine. Then when looking under, I noticed the entire machine has massive rust buildup to where its flaking and falling on the plastic edges of the drum. After contacting LG about this issue they pretty much said Im out of warranty and oh well. At the rate of the rust Im guessing another 2 years and metal clips / screws will pretty much break during a spin cycle and nothing I can do about it except share this troubling issue to save someone else thousands of dollars on LGs poorly protected product against moisture. That 10 year warranty sticker is such a gimmick since these wont make it past 5 years with the crazy rust buildup. I did some research online and found that many other users have gone through the same frustration. I hope all the negative reviews will get LG to better insulate metal surfaces in their machines. Even my car comes with 10 year 100,000 mile warranty against rust yet washer has no rust warranty?

Purchasing the matching LG washer and dryer was my first LG appliance purchase - and it will be my last. I have usually purchased appliances by Kenmore or Maytag and would have the appliances for years before they had to be serviced. However, that has not been the case with the LG 7.4 cu. ft. Gas Dryer with Steam in White, Model # DLGX3571W. I purchased the dryer on June 27, 2015 and it was delivered July 2, 2015. About a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the clothes were not drying after a full cycle. The first time, I increased the drying time and made it more dry, still the clothes did not dry. Finally, after the third cycle the clothes were dry. Since that time, it has taken several drying cycles to dry one load of clothes. I cant imagine how this will affect my gas bill. Because the dryer is only about 6 months, I requested a new dryer. I figure that if I started repairing a dryer that is only 6 months old, Ill be repairing it forever. But I was told by a very condescending executive manager, Cortel, that I would not get a new machine because that is not how it works. I tried to rationalize with him and told him that I was willing to have a service tech check the machine, but if there was a problem I didnt want it fixed, I wanted it replaced with a new machine. That was like talking to a wall. So my next step is to file a complaint with the President of the company. I would caution consumers against purchasing Model #DLGX3571W in particular and in dealing with LG in general because of their unwillingness to be fair to their customers.

LG Gas Range LDG4315ST - I have owned this stove for a little more than one year. It is flat-out dangerous. The knobs on the stove turn on way too easily. From day 1, my machine leaked. I called and was told it was due to using too much detergent. I thought that may be the problem and used below the normal line every cycle. Still sporadically, there are leaks below the machine. As I called and was told over and over again, my machine is fine. I let my machine go out of warranty. Now beyond leaking, it stops mid-cycle often so I have to sit next to the machine while washing clothes to restart it and finish cycles. Beyond that, sometimes it gets stuck at 9 minutes left and starts spinning and stops spinning over and over again. Beyond that, when it is filling up, the valves close so quickly it causes all the pipes in my house to shake and bang causing leaks in pipes. Something needs to be done about this. LG should stand behind their product.

My 2.5 year old LG refrigerator Model LFX 25978ST/00 stopped working--first ice machine failed, then freezer and then finally entire fridge--lost all my food. Called an appliance repair and they tried replacing a $150 motherboard they tested and determined had failed. That did not fix the problem. Conclusion was the compressor was also failed. LG guarantees its compressor for 10 years, BUT, only deals with certain repair centers, so I was already out $200 and needed to call one of only two LG-affiliated centers in my area. One quoted me 2300 for labor and said the repairs rarely last and I should just buy a new fridge. Another quoted me 300 for labor, but demanded an advance before scheduling the repair and said that ordering the part and scheduling could take up to 2-3 weeks. What is obvious, having read MANY similar accounts, is there needs to be a class action lawsuit against LG. Furthermore, there needs to be much more attention to quality control, parts have to be made to last longer and all of us are going to have to pay more for our appliances and/or those profiting at the upper echelons of these companies are going to have to share the spoils with their workers to fabricate better products. My GE fridge bought in 1980, lasted 30 years. Should have had it repaired and paid the price for higher electricity vs tossing three refrigerators in a landfill that are energy efficient but, doing nothing other than cluttering the earth.

I have had machine (WT1101CW) for 20 months and problems since beginning. Problem intermittent from beginning and I got mad but let it go. Called within year and they did something via phone at machine. Problems persisted and I called a number of times as I got angrier and they did nothing. Problem is constantly out of balance condition and clock and mechanism seems to keep repeating steps. It rinses and again and again and clock jumps all around. I finally put on special and set spin only to get water out but it goes from 13 minutes to eight and then back to ten minutes. I finally put clothes wet into dryer. Problem was intermittent initially but now seems to be problem every time. I cant stand with machine all day so generally takes today six hours to do one load wash. Out looking for a replacement machine and when purchase will put this on curb of my busy street with sign about its problems. Company recently said wont fix machine under warranty and I must pay. Ive already paid for their junky machine and wont give them any more money. Anyone who buys this companys washing machines has to be crazy in my opinion. And, if LG actually stood behind their product, I wouldnt be this angry. But they couldnt care less. They read the little scripted message to you over and over again, that when they receive the technician report theyll see what they can do, etc. Probably the same thing as they did the last time, which was absolutely NOTHING! You can babysit this thing for hours trying to get it through a spin cycle. Doesnt matter how you load it, small loads, big ones, mixed clothes, bulky bedding, on and on. I have tried every mode, trick, time, spin mode combination there is and still the dreaded UE code comes on. We purchased a brand new LG stove/oven in 2014. The control panel started giving us issues about a month ago (27 January 2016). We reported the issue to LG customer service and they offered an extended warranty for about $275.00. We purchased it and their repair representative arrived at our home. He verified that this was an LG product by model and serial number, and confirmed that the stove/oven was produced in 2013. He then said that he didnt have the required parts to perform the repair, and that LG no longer makes the parts. Since then, LG wont fix their own product because we dont have the initial purchase receipt. We have been arguing with so called LG executive services ever since. Ultimately, this is an LG product, LG took our money for the extended warranty, and they are incapable of fixing their own product. Is this fraud?

We bought an LG front loading washing machine from Sears one year ago. It began making more noise on the spin cycle than a jack hammer, and almost vibrated its way out into the hallway. We called Sears repair for service. That was our second mistake! They sent a repairman only to have him make a list of parts totaling more than the original price of the machine. I asked why they dont just replace the machine and his comment was, We dont replace machines! What a joke! So a week later, an entire pallet of boxes filled with parts shows up at the front door. A few days later, two repairmen showed up to put humpty dumpty back together again. Well, that wasnt going to happen that day because, much to our surprise, the repairman needed more parts to fix the problem. So he ordered more parts and we waited another week for him to show up with his magic wand. I tried to discuss the issue with a manager but none wanted to talk with an actual customer. Imagine that! Its no wonder Sears is struggling to avoid bankruptcy. With nonexistent customer service, poor quality of appliances and zero accountability, the end is certainly coming. I only wish it had happened before we bought our appliances from them. NEVER AGAIN!!

We purchased this refrigerator Dec. 15, 2014 its not a year old and still under the factory warranty. This is the second time that we have had this problem with the refrigerator not getting cold. May 2015 was the first time someone came out and adjusted the temperature, the same problem happen again around September 11, 2015 where it wasnt cooling or making ice. The day I got out of the hospital, I come home and everything in my freezer had thawed out and spoil. I began calling immediately but no one seems to put themselves in our shoes. We have been without a refrigerator since September 18th, 2015. Someone from Jebco in Saraland, AL. came out on September 23, 2015 said that he had to order a part and for us to unplug our refrigerator until he return on Monday September 28, 2015. Well Monday came, his clerk called to say that he would not be able to come on that day. I was so upset that I hung up on her, but later called back to apologize, later that day she called LG to inform them that she did not think I was satisfied with them QUOTE: Im not satisfied with anyone because everyone has a refrigerator and we dont. We are having to keep water in a cooler and having to go out to food because we cant put anything in the fridge. All we are asking is for them to give us another refrigerator, nobody seems to be able to accommodate for our loss. We are still paying for a broke down refrigerator, its notfair. I thought customers were always right and came first, well it seems that is not a true statement, because if it were true they should make sure that the customers are happy and satisfied to every extent.I am so dissatisfied with HHGregg and LG, I am letting everyone know not to deal with either one of them because they dont stand by their word of satisfying their customers. Is there anyone that can help me please come forward to give me some advices? We have spoken to so many peoples and nobody doing anything.

We purchased the LG Bottom Freezer Refrigerator Model #LFX25960ST in May of 2007. 1st issue was the Product Consumer Energy Rating. The Energy Rating LG gave was less than the average energy the fridge used. I receive a check from LG (I think) every quarter to make up the difference in energy used (around $4.00). Next came the ice maker. The ice maker would freeze up and overflow with water or just stopped working all together. The ice dispenser in the door has never crushed Ice the way it should. We had 3 service calls on ice maker issues, 2 of which the ice maker had to be replaced. Still does not crust ice the way it should. I just gave up trying to get it fixed. Then I noticed that the hard wood floors in front of the fridge were starting to warp. Ceiling tiles in basement showed where water had leaked from kitchen above. We pulled down the tiles but were unable to find a leak. We pulled out the fridge and saw where water had wet the sheetrock and floor behind the fridge. Thinking there was a leak in the plumbing behind the fridge we ripped out the sheetrock, finding nothing. We then decided to leave the fridge pulled out to try and determine where the water was coming from. About 30 minutes later, I returned to the kitchen and noticed that water was spewed to the right side of the fridge and all across the dining area, approx. 15. We turned off the water going to the fridge and contacted LG. 2 days later a repairman came in an immediately noticed the warped flooring. He the checked the ice maker and the fridge and found nothing. He turned the water back on and asked me to dispense water from the water/ice dispenser. When I pushed the water dispenser, water, again, shot out all across the kitchen and dining room. The repairman was then able to show us where the line coming from the valve on the fridge to the filter had split. He stated the line was faulty and would have to be replaced. 2 weeks later the repairman returned and replaced the faulty line. LG did pay for fridge repairs and repairs to my floor but nothing for the downtime or aggravation we endured. Then we had issues with the interior light in the fridge. It would stay on even when the fridge was closed. Again we contacted LG for repair. Now after having this fridge for only 7 years, the entire cooling system, fridge and freezer, has gone out, resulting in ruined and sour food. We contacted LG again. My husband spoke with the lady from LG. At one point in the conversation, he told the lady, Im sorry, I know this isnt your fault, but Im very aggravated right now dealing again with this Lemon of a refrigerator. The LG Supervisor then told him I understand your aggravation, but you are just going to get even more aggravated when you hear what I have to say. I cannot help you because the refrigerator is out of warranty. WHAT??? Who says that??? Where is the customer service??? So now Im stuck paying an $85.00 service call plus replacement parts and labor to fix ANOTHER issue with this LG Refrigerator. I am so done with anything LG.

We had purchased a LG washing machine from Best Buy less than a year ago and have had constant problems with it since. Soon after we installed it in our new house we had it leak water throughout the night from the front of the washing machine. After contacting LG about it they did a test on it (over the phone, as it was a smart washing) and said it was OK to use. Against the better judgement of my wife she went ahead and used it and the same thing happened again, but this time worse. The water created about $8600.00 in damages, had floor damage, water in the vents that collapsed the AC vent under the house, and mold starting to appear on our walls. Fortunately we had our own house insurance which covered out expense, and we had to pay a small $250.00 deductible. After explaining the situation to LG, they asked us to send them a damage report and all the information which we did, they refused to replace the washing machine and instead sent a technician out to fix it, who came out four separate times to fix it. He said that there was a fault with the machine and we were afraid that it would happen again. LG also told us that because the washing machine was a display model that we purchased it was not under warranty. When I called through customer service to ask them if I purchased a display model from Best Buy would it be covered by warranty, they said yes (a direct contradiction to what was told.) I asked them for a transcript to verify that which they sent. After 4 attempts to fix the problem they still wouldnt change the machine or give us our money back, and we ended up having to pay out of our pocket for the technician to come out. To this day we still have a faulty washing machine. After calling them several times to try and get my deductible back from LGs own insurance company they kept telling me that they would call me in two days, and never did. This happened three separate occasions and it has been about 6 months since the accident happened, and they have been in possession of all the documentation for around 3-4 months and have done nothing about it. We are very disappointed in their service and do not expect them to do anything about our situation. This is the first time Ive complained online to any company, but I feel that other consumers need to know.

We purchased a LG side by side refrigerator 3 weeks ago from Home Depot. This morning water started pouring out of the ice maker! It flooded our kitchen and dining room before we could get the water shut off. We have spent the rest of the day on the phone with Home Depot first and then LG customer service. On hold for approximately 2 hours total. Bad customer service and for $1700 bad refrigerator. Last word was they were trying to find someone to come out. It should only take them 3 days. Meantime all the food in my freezer had water poured on it. Now its frozen. Its a mess. I will never purchase another LG product!

I placed calls to LG to arrange for my 3 year old refrigerator to have a new compressor installed. I had a local company confirm this was the reason for the breakdown. The first call at the beginning of the year did not ever end up with a response or resolution (someone was supposed to contact me). I waited several months and contacted LG again. The support desk had me upload all of my warranty information to their site through a provided link. Again, I was assured that someone would contact me to arrange this repair within a short period of time. Again, this did not ever occur.Today, almost a year later, I have purchased a new appliance because keeping my food in a cooler for 10 months was not an option. I have posted the fridge for scrap on Kijiji and a local person responded within an hour to remove it from my home. Too bad that LG couldnt have responded as efficiently. A lot of wasted money in both purchase price and time trying to resolve/arrange the warranty. My questions are these. How is it that a manufacturer is not held accountable for failure to provide what they are legally responsible for? What recourse is there when this process fails? At what point does one give up because they have spent hours and hours trying to get the warranty service? Like many Canadians, I am a working individual and dont have endless hours to dedicate to continued follow-up. Appliances are expensive purchases yet there seems to be no process where the companies are made responsible for providing the warranty coverage they espouse. My hope is that this changes in the future.

Recd LG washer on Feb 07 from Lg warehouse. Around 4 PM Complaint to HD (we purchase from Cambridge store). On Feb 08 that washer front door is leaking. When we spoke to LG they ask us to troubleshoot the washer by doing a tub cycle. We question why we should be doing all this when in fact its a brand new washer which came directly from your warehouse, (CSR are horrible and rude). LG then said they will send a tech out to look at it. We cant have it replace since their policy is complaint must be file with 48 hrs. Our complaint was file with 24 hours. Today is Mar 03 and I still have a leaking washer. LG service are extremely Poor. Products are Inferior. Will never purchase or recommend LG appliance. Dont waste your money. Life is Grief. Unprofessional technical support. Unhelpful customer service. We purchased the LG electric range model LSE4613ST last October 2017. In May 2018 the two big front burners ceased operating well - now it takes twice longer time to heat up than it used to be, and while Im cooking the burners dont keep the heat evenly. I called LG customer service and on May 29th, 2018 (I took a day off at my work), LG technician came to my house and just by holding his hand close to the working burner was able to tell me that there is no issue. Manual diagnostic? I explained to him that it was not like that for eight months that I used the range every day, and I wanted to show him during the cooking process what is wrong, but I didnt get the chance, for he left my house telling me that he knows better.I called customer service and complained. To my surprise, I was told that I have a scheduled visit for June 6th, 2018, in order to replace some parts. Believe it or not, on that date, nobody came and moreover nobody contacted me to cancel the appointment. I spent my day off my work for nothing. I called LG customer service again, just to hear that they know nothing about the visit and that my file was transferred to the other department. Then I escalated the issue to the social media. A couple of weeks later Ive got a call from LG to inform me that the next Friday Im going to receive a call from the Executive department. No more details were supplied. Guess what? Nobody called.I called LG back next week and I was told that Friday was a mistake, and Im going to receive the call some day later. Im still waiting. LG failed again. Now about very DANGEROUS issue - the knobs of the several models, including mine, are easily turned on just by bumping the knob. You wont even notice it. If you google the issue, there are so many negative comments about the stove. Here some of them: https://www.consumeraffairs.com/homeowners/lg_range.html

Absolute worst customer service ever. $3000 Refrigerator stopped working one month after going out of warranty, so basically at the 13 month period. Had to purchase a repair plan for $350 to get it fixed. Repair person has been here three times and it is still not working over one month later. I have been living out of coolers for a month now. Now they are telling me they have to get authorization to order a new part, which if that goes through wont arrive for another week. This is ridiculous that we should have to go through this for this long. I replaced all the appliances in my kitchen last year with new LG and this is what I get. I have an old freezer in my garage that has lasted for 20 years without issue. Should have stuck with it.

For the second time in 6 months, a drawstring from two different pairs of shorts was trapped in the door hinge while the dryer was running causing several pieces of clothing to get caught on the string and twist into a tight knot. Both times I found the dryer stopped and the door open. OK. But try to get the drawstring out of the hinge! I worked for 15 minutes both times. LG NEEDS TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE. We bought a one year old LG Trom stainless steel washer from a co-worker of my spouse when we moved into our new house. I was not crazy about a front loader but loved the price and the fact he would deliver it. To its credit, it spent the next 2 1/2 years washing up here, including the cast offs of 4-5 bassets hounds, which we foster for the rescue. We got an error code OE on a regular basis and cleaned out the two filters and it came back on. It made our clothes and laundry room smell and always leaked a small amount out on the floor. Finally, it would not clear the OE code although I could run it through the cycles manually. When I checked on getting it repaired, the eye opening started. The first appliance store I called stated that something should be done about these being imported into the country. He virtually recoiled when I told him what I had. And only person in my area (southern Houston, not exactly the boonies) worked on these and could get parts. Okay, I called him. $75.00 service call when we can get to you, and it cant be applied towards the repair. Then I researched online and found out that it would most likely cost 200-400 dollars to fix it with even small things wrong.Okay....maybe I just will buy something else, like the top loading white Kenmore I have spent the last 50 years washing in. I checked around with two used dealers and again, they didnt fix LGs, would not carry them, and didnt want one. The used Kenmore is downstairs merrily washing away in 30 minutes time when the LG took an hour for most anything. Also, I could soak or dye anything in it. It left here with the junk dealer...Good Riddance!

I have had nothing but problems with our LG Waveforce top load washing machine. Since day one, it has been unbalanced in almost every single load. It doesnt matter if its a small load, normal size or large load. It is always unbalanced. Because of this issue, the machine tries to fix itself, which ends up using 2-3 times the amount of water just trying to get it balanced. So, when you buy this unit thinking you will save money of your water bill and that its energy efficient, think again. The 45-minute load ends up taking 2 hours and 3 times the water. Another issue I have had is the pulsator. It just pops off the bottom of the drum in the spin cycle. We have had to fix it multiple times and now is unfixable. We will either need to replace the whole inner part or buy a new washer. I have called LG multiple times with no help at all whatsoever. I wish I could go back to my old Kenmore washing machine that lasted 15 years with no problems at all.

I have had problems with the freezer area freezing up and causing problems then I started having other problems, the compressor went bad and it was under warranty for 10 yrs. I called LG and they wanted to just push me off and give me a bunch of BS. They gave me a number of one of their certified companies to come work on it, so I do just that. The company comes out and I had to pay for the service call, then they told me that I had to pay for the part, which is 800.00 and then I had to get LG to refund me. Then I called LG and they said, No, that the company had to get it. The company that LG sent out to my house refused to buy the piece, stating that LG does not want to refund them the product. I should not have to deal with this. I finally got that issue taken care of and not something else is wrong with the refrigerator. I am done, getting rid of it, and I will NEVER have another LG product. EVER.

On September 6th, my wife and I felt a Jarring motion in our home. It was almost like an earthquake. I went to investigate and found my LG washer had spun out of control and had put a 6 inch dent in our wall and had also hit the LG Dryer next to it and did considerable damage to it. Since the machine was about a year old we contacted LG. Within days they sent out a technician, who took pictures of the damage and forwarded them to LG. He also unplugged the machine and locked it so we could not use it. For the next month and a half we contact LG on what they would do. After about 10 phone calls with questions about what is the serial #, which the tech sent them the first day, to where did you buy it and do you have a receipt. Again all info they track as the manufacturer. They did refer us to a Mr. ** who did respond to emails, But it wasnt his department. We finally contacted the Presidents Office and that got a response now they are offering a free repair or a discount on a new unit. Nothing about the $300 worth of damage to our wall or the extensive damage to the dryer unit. The whole process seems to be designed to have you stay on hold until you give up and dealing with people with a poor understanding of English, to pointing you to the wrong people. We are 45 days later and now the President is involved. Hopefully we will get our repairs soon.

Our old washer keeps on breaking down, so we bought an inverter washing machine from LG for around 305USD. The features are awesome. It calculates how much water is needed based on the weight of clothes that you put in the tub. You can set what kind of wash you want it to do depending on the type of clothes you want to wash (heavy, furry, light, undies, etc). You just put your clothes, turn it on, press a few buttons and wait for it to finish.

LG Tromm. Well reviewed. No experience with the brand, so it was the first time. It was very expensive 11 years ago, but seems to have come down in price. Extremely satisfied with all the options, for e.g., delay wash, hand wash. The only problem was the mould around the rubber seals. I cant seem to get rid of it, even though Ive tried everything suggested, both by professionals and on the internet. The capacity was large enough to wash a King duvet and clothing for a family of 5. It needed to be energy efficient because we do 3 full loads a week. It had excellent reviews. Repairs are our main concern. Although we bought extended warranties for the pair (washing machine and dryer), it doesnt cover all parts or repairs, but for most. I wish the sales associate gave us the pros and cons of these machines. We have more pros when reviewing the LG Tromm, but more information about the mould problem would have helped.

A stove in one of our cabins had to be replaced so I put my Whirlpool glass top in the cabin and purchased a new LG Range and Microwave for my house. 3 yrs + 1 month later my glass top broke; not covered by warranty of course. So after being shipped 2 damaged tops, a new one was installed for a mere $391.55. Had been cooking on Whirlpool glasstop for years so didnt realize you had to treat an LG with kid gloves. Less than 1 year later (now), and theres nothing in hell I could have done to cause this, the electronic start button wont work - just the start button - every other one works. We all now know only certain companies can work on LGs right. So serviceman came out, assessed the situation and it was exactly how I described it to them on the phone, had to order a new panel and will come back in 2 weeks to install. Panel arrived today in an extremely large box (box couldve held 24) - no padding, just a little paper and sliding around in the box. I have no idea if its still in working order or ruined by being slammed around. The exact model number of my range is listed under a recall notice. I sent them information and was told it was NOT one of those recalled even though the numbers matched. I will NEVER purchase another LG product. What bothers me is we have at least 10 LG TVs on the property so now I can wonder what will be happening to them. I truly believe LG started out with quality products; then when sales started to boom they decided to cheapen and thought the stupid consumers wouldnt catch on...JMO.

Unbalanced Flaw UE - LG Front Loader Extra Capacity - Paid way too much to get extra capacity - would love to have my basic front loader back! Extra capacity is worthless if you cant get the load to spin & finish because of the UE code. Ive had to throw away pillows I washed. No problem in my last machine, because this way overpriced LG wouldnt spin it - not alone, not with other items, not after being wrung out, hung to drip dry, not on low spin - NOTHING. The True Balancer is a joke - it is directly causing the problem. What good is an EXTRA CAPACITY washing machine, if you cant wash more than a normal load in it anyway? The time Ive wasted standing in front of this machine, hoping *this time* it would spin, rebalancing items by hand - makes me sick to think how much we paid for this piece of junk. Good luck with customer service - they said there is no recall even though there is post after post of the same UE complaint, and they *might* call me back once the customer service person logs my complaint. Never asked me for any contact info so Im not sure how that will happen...

I saved my money for over a year and was proud to purchase matching fridge, stove, and dishwasher in black stainless steel almost 2 years ago. My new appliances were wonderful until a month ago when the finish started flaking off and before you say it is my fault, no I do not use abrasive cleaners on the finish. The stove started first, where the handle meets the door and now the fridge is doing the same. I am now embarrassed to have these in my kitchen. Some of the clothes became wrapped around the corner of the screen and caused them to stretch out to a point that they arent wearable. I contacted LG to send a new screen and was informed that I would have to pay for it. Now the screen has actually cracked and smells like its going to catch on fire. So, I ordered a new 1 and the same thing has happened again. Really poor design!!

The ice maker stopped working about a year after we bought it. That was the beginning. But far worse than that is the absolute junk quality of the refrigerator interior. EVERY PIECE breaks on its own, due to low quality plastic and sloppy product design. Weve already replaced them twice, and they need to be replaced again. Pitiful. Weve never had any problems like this with a refrigerator of any brand, until we bought LG. This third world company isnt ready for Prime Time in the world market. They make garbage, and then dont stand behind their product. When will we stop buying the garbage these third world companies are selling us? If you want to say Lifes Good when youve purchased an appliance, DO NOT BUY LG! Total trash.

WM4270H and DLEX4070. Cleaner clothes than the horrible Maytag Neptune/dryer is done before next load in washer. Units are 4 years old. Very quiet operation. Wanted a dryer with a steam fresh option which this LG does have. Washer does not wear out clothes as previous Maytag unit. Regular repairs and quality of construction, very important to me. Unit still looks brand new after 4 years of use and not the first problem with units. I had nice shirts that were stained with grease. Previous unit did not remove those stains so used shirts for the lawn. Used the sanitary cycle on the LG washer with no change in detergents and stains were removed. I am assuming this is due to the LG heating up the water that dissolve the grease.

My LG washing machines turbo drums sensor is fixed to holding the door of the machine. Since it is in frequent use, the sensor gets damaged and rusted due to frequent water contact. In the last two years, I have changed the sensor twice. This is the biggest fault that your machine has. Because of this, we will not prefer LG machine in the future. Please change the place of fixing the sensor in LG washing machines.

We purchased an LG Gas Range in November of 2012. Starting in May of 2015, the oven racks started becoming a struggle to slide them in and out of the oven. We noticed that the blue enamel was gone on the tracks where the oven racks slide in and out. We have contacted LG and they keep giving us the run around. We even sent pictures where it was evident that the enamel was gone and you could clearly see the metal. They responded with the following email, Sir: This is with regard to the request of range racks for model#LRG3095st. The unit was purchased 11/15/2012 which is over a year and not qualified for us to send you the racks for free. This racks can be ordered with our Parts Distributor, MCM ELECTRONICS phone# 800-824-9491. Also, regarding the pictures that you sent to us which have stains on the blue enamel, these were caused by liquids, sauces, grease, and other foods spilled or splattered inside the oven which is cosmetic issue, therefore not covered. So, all they ever wanted to do was have us order our own racks and state that these were stained by grease, liquids, etc. Obviously, he did not look at the picture and it appears he is stating that these things will eat the enamel off of the inside of the stove to where the metal is exposed... LG has a problem and is not wanting to take care of any problem pertaining to their product. Their customer service representative told me that it was out of warranty and that it is not covered. So basically, the enamel in the LG oven that costs around $1,000 is only meant to last 2 to 3 years. DONT BUY ANY LG PRODUCTS OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!
