I purchased a Fridge/Freezer just over 4 years ago. It was an expensive one. The gas is gone and they cannot re-gas it. If I was told this when I was purchasing it I certainly would not have spent this money. I rang the concessional team. They would give me nothing towards a replacement as they had not one in stock, POOR Service for a big company. I am in business and this is not the way I would treat my customers. This has certainly turned me away from purchasing Whirlpool Products, despite having a industrial washing machine and Dryer. For the record, I had 2 servicemen to check it and they were most pleasant. It was beyond repair.

I thought they would send another technician and make everything go back and forth. This solution does save my time. I hope the new machine wont have all the series of issues.

We purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washer 6 years ago. This washer has been such a terrible appliance, I would not recommend that anyone buy one. The top of the washer has broken 2 times. Whirlpool will do nothing about it. It is a manufacturers defect where the glass pops out of the top and then breaks the frame it is in. We had it replaced last year and the new one is now broken - same problem. It also does not get clothes clean and the clothes get ruined because they become all entangled in one another. We will never purchase a Whirlpool appliance again. I did have a 5 year service contract on these appliances but once out of warranty - you are on your own.

Whirlpool Gold GC3SHAXVBOO - Two issues in two years. We purchased this refrigerator online through Whirlpool in April 2010. Almost a year later, a circuit board went. This was repaired under warranty. Our refrigerator was making loud cycling noises and we were told this was normal. Now a year later, again we have an issue. This time its the compressor. We called customer service and were told there is nothing they can do. The cost to fix approximately is $700. This is very upsetting to buy a $2000 refrigerator and have two major issues within two years and then not have the company stand by their product. I would wonder how many other people have this model and have these issues as it seems like a lot. Whirlpool customer service is terrible, non-caring and offered no assistance.

Horrible stove. Bought online. Get set up and its worst design ever. Have to lay down on floor to watch broiler. Cant even slide out. The stove top is difficult to clean. The cast iron grates are very heavy and have to move one side at a time. I Cant control low heat. Have to use back burner only. Then Crap builds up on back console. The oven grates are too wide apart, Have To supplement with racks from my other stove oven.

Our dishes always come out completely clean and without spotting. I dont like having to get down into the machine and clean out the filter/trap, so I pre-rinse everything that goes into the machine, so that might help. Regardless, this machine does an excellent job. This is the Whirlpool Gold Series bought in 2013. It has numerous settings, such as delay, varying cycles, air dry, heat dry, etc. All the features work as expected, but like most owners probably do, I leave it set on the same settings all the time. It does what I want and does it very quietly. This is a standard, under-counter, full-sized machine. The outside of the dishwasher is stainless and the inside has a plastic lining. The controls are at the top of the front door, so that leaves the front completely clean-looking. Love it.

How would you like to be without a refrigerator for 10+ days? How do you justify 10 days without a service tech being available for what I call an emergency! Either you need to hire more technicians or make BETTER products. My suggestion is have a supervisor go out to a call first and access the problem. My case, a tech shows up after waiting 10 days, to tell me my refrigerator needs all the parts. Which means Ill have to wait probably another 2-3 weeks for the parts to arrive. Im sure the parts werent ordered to be expedited. Im beyond furious. We lost everything in our freezer. Doesnt stay frozen in coolers. When we purchased the refrigerator, just under two years ago, the service tech was out three separate times because our ice maker kept going on the blink. Finally, I purchased ice maker, because your refrigerator only makes ice when it wants. Not reliable! Second problem, the lights in refrigerator & freezer went out. Real smart to install LED lights that can only be replaced by a technician. Insane for the consumer. (Cost of lights replaced w/o warranty contract is $100). DONT BUY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS UNLESS YOU ENJOY MISERY!!Why would you put glossy black finish on front of refrigerator, and the sides have black texture, where you cant see fingerprints. Has to be cleaned daily! Hope you can rectify the problem before two more weeks pass. Model: WRS322FDAB. SERIAL#: HR72710418. Not a fan of your lemon of refrigerator. We purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio about 3 years ago. Have never really like it. It doesnt add enough water to the wash cycle unless you use the bulky setting, which fills the tub up the entire way, so wastes water. It would have been nice to choose your water level like you could on the old machines. Now it wont drain completely and wont spin totally. Ive tried using the drain/spin cycle 2-3 times extra and it still wont spin all the water out. Ive noticed that there is still water in the drum, you can hear it slosh when you move the drum, so I wonder - has anyone ever been told there is a filter in there somewhere that might be clogged keeping it from draining completely? My husband thinks that maybe all the water in the bottom of the drum is not letting it spin because its throwing it off balance. And yes, it stops before the cycle is complete and just sits there and blinks and you have to unplug it to clear the cycle. What a pain. We will never again buy a Whirlpool and I absolutely do not recommend Whirlpool washers. I have a Maytag as well and have not yet had problems with it. Bought it at the same time we bought the Cabrio (2 households). At least the water levels in the Maytag are a little more normal. You can wash more than 1 pair of jeans and get them clean in the Maytag. For those of you with the problem of the clothes not smelling clean - try running the clean cycle with a cup of bleach about once a week. No clothes in it - just a cup of bleach in the bleach dispenser and nothing else. Works for us.

7 months ago we had a Whirlpool dishwasher installed into our home. While away on vacation the piece inside malfunctioned and caused major damage as water filled the home. Whirlpool claims, that because it’s a part that they contract out to another company, they “Whirlpool” are not responsible! If you purchase a product from Whirlpool and they put their name on that product, then Whirlpool should stand by its product. Well... beware, you’re not going to compensate from Whirlpool! We urge you, make sure of whom the parts of the product your buying from belong to, before you buy it FIRST! Never again!

I bought this fridge in July of 2017. In December the Ice Maker quit, I called and they sent a tech out. The repair guy reset the ice maker and it made Ice. It functioned June and quit. They sent a new company that was a no-show, so I had to wait until July for the new company to come out. When they did, they replaced the ice maker. It worked for 10 days and quit. Same thing, replace the ice maker and this time quit about 30 days later. I called August 27th because the 4th Ice maker quit again. I was told by a supervisor that because they have used the same claim number it counts as one claim and does not fall under the Lemon Law. I did get the supervisor to admit that there are 2 claims in the system while under Warranty, but now it is on the extended warranty. Whirlpool is Garbage and I am here to tell everyone to STAY AWAY!

Purchased this Dishwasher on Feb. 28, 2015. In June 2016 about a 2 by 3 inch section of the enamel face on the door rusted and fell off above the air vent. After three hours of hold time between Lowes (with the extended warranty) and Whirlpool (their warranty department) it was determined that this was not covered by either warranty as it was beyond the date of the 1-year mfg warranty and was not covered by the extended warranty (it was only a cosmetic issue). As these calls took place over a matter of 2 days, it was interesting that between day 1 and day 2, Whirlpool had issued a statement that no rust repairs would be covered under any warranty repair - regardless, unless it affects the functionality of the dishwasher. In other words, they KNOW this is an issue with this model and are doing nothing to fix the problem. I must say that the folks at Lowes were most helpful; cannot say the same for the folks at Whirlpool. I do not think I will trust their products again.

We purchased our oven new in a package deal with the rest of our kitchen appliances four years ago. The bottom heating element in the oven has already stopped working. Every oven I have seen in my life has lasted a minimum of 15 years, and most 20. All I can say is DO NOT BUY WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCES! In the past 4 years, weve had the repair technician work on the Whirlpool refrigerator (once), dishwasher (3 times), and microwave (3 times). This is about my Whirlpool Cabrio top load washer machine (model number WTW6200SWD, serial # CT3670597). I bought this machine in 2007, and soon after, I was having problems with the F1 code. After several trips back and forth to reset the code, so I can get the laundry done, and many frustrations, it was time to call Whirlpool to resolve the problem. I find out that there was a recall for this ongoing issue. They sent a technician to replace the mother board, and everything was fine for some time. Soon after, the machine was giving us more problems with the F1 code, and the UL code. It doesnt matter which way I try to balance the load. This piece of junk will not work. Whirlpool needs to stand behind this issue, and recall this washing machine for good. Every customer should be entitled to a full refund, and a compensation for the many hours of electricity, aggravation, and frustration, wasted trying to get this junk to work.

I purchased a Whirlpool wash machine and dryer from Home Depot 3 years ago. From the outset we had problems with both units. Wash machine spin cycle does not work properly, and that causes a problem with getting clothes dry. Some soiled clothes will not clean properly and have to be hand washed. Dryer rarely works on one cycle, towels and bed sheets have to be run through a second cycle. These are NOT energy savers. Garbage product, I will never buy Whirlpool again.

It was not a good experience after I purchased a Whirlpool washer in Feb 2014. I have been going to Laundromat 5 months since I found the door did not able to secure. I reported in January 2015 and technicians from 3 different contractors made more than 10 visits for checking and replacing parts. Not only nothing gets done, I also missed work for all these days. Then I escalated to the Supervisor, ** and Miss ** in Executive Office of North American Region. Both of them are very nice that they understand the situation and how frustrate it is. Finally, ** said Whirlpool would replace it. ** told me that I should get phone call from H.H. Gregg within 48 hours. However, it has been two weeks and seems no one care. In this three days memorial weekend, I still need to go to Laundromat while they are enjoying BBQ with their friends and families. I dont know how long it take to replace it.

Purchased a Cabrio Top Loading Washer and Dryer 3 years ago from Lowes and our clothes have NEVER even come close to coming clean without spending a ton on stain removing aids, which only work part time. So I approached the salesperson at Lowes and I was informed (after the fact) that the Cabrio top loaders had poor ratings due to the fact the basket only spun 30 times a minute whereas the front loaders spun 300 times a minute. So after 3 years Im forced to bite the bullet and purchase another washer. Ever since they purchased Maytag, their quality control has gone down the crapper. Now Im going back to the old reliable, the agitator washer. Newer is not better in this case.

Not completely happy with my purchase of the Whirlpool Gold Series refriger
Not completely happy with my purchase of the Whirlpool Gold Series refrigerator I just paid off this month. Have had the refrigerator for one year. To be as large as it is, it really doesnt seem to be able to hold that much food. The refrigerator is on the top and the freezer is on the bottom. We began having issues with the ice in the ice maker becoming frozen together and forming clumps of ice. The ice felt damp to the touch rather than feeling completely frozen. We called the manufacturer and they said to be sure the vents in the freezer section were not blocked by food. So you have to be sure to load the freezer so that food doesnt block the vents. Additionally, when filling your glass with ice from the door, unless you are EXTREMELY careful, all of the ice will not go into the glass but spill out onto the floor. Weve had the refrigerator for one year and I still have ice coming out that doesnt make it into the glass. It is not user friendly at all. One last thing - the refrigerator has double doors and to get to the section of the middle pull out drawer, you have to open both of the double doors, letting out a lot of the cold air. For the expense of this particular refrigerator I would not recommend purchasing it. My last refrigerator was a Whirlpool as well. It lasted 17 years and I was very happy with it. This Gold Series was supposed to be a step up, but I feel it was a step down.

I bought a Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum washer 2 years ago and it is by far the worst washer I have ever owned. Its a water saving device with extremely long cycles. The clothes dont get wet enough, dont come out clean and they do not smell fresh. I have to put them through 3 rinse cycles and often times have to re-wash my clothing. The cycles are very long, using more electricity, and it takes me 3 times as long to get my weekly laundry done. My clothing comes out more wrinkled and twisted causing longer time ironing. My old agitator style washer did a superior job compared to this piece of junk. I dont like the automatic locking lid, nor do I like the machine choosing the spin cycle for me. There isnt even a soak cycle. If I want to soak my things I have to do it in the sink and then drag them to the washer to rinse and spin them.I spend a fortune on laundry additives in order to get my clothing clean and then they arent as clean as with my old washer. I now dread doing laundry and every time I look at the washer I feel like taking it to the dump! There isnt anything I like about this machine and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. It is a piece of crap. This is 2016 and they havent learned how to make a good working washing machine. When I move, I will be celebrating leaving it here! I will never, ever buy a product made by them again.

We purchased a Whirlpool Estate Range in 2008, with an extended warranty. We have only moved this range out 2 times since it was installed and the last time was over 2 years ago. This range worked beautifully, no issues whatsoever. Until... tonight, the oven & one burner were being used when suddenly the range started arcing, which blew a hole through the back panel on the stove where the cord hooks to it. It continued to arc and quickly fill the kitchen with black smoke until we could reach the breaker box. The Whirlpool repairman wants to charge $88 dollars just to tell us WHY it happened. After 2 years of sitting in the same spot, why? I dont want the stove repaired, I want it out of my house! I will not take the chance that this will happen again when we are not home. When asked if this was an issue with their product, the repairman answered, I have never heard of anything like this before. After reading these reviews: Such a Liar! I wouldnt believe anything Whirlpool, or their representatives told me about their products now. I just want their crap out of my house and I will never spend another one of my hard-earned dollars with them again. Too many other choices out there. I just want other buyers to Beware of Whirlpool.

I purchased a Whirlpool dryer Cabrio (model # WED7300XWO and serial # M03028918), which has had several issues. We had to replace the felt around the dryer tube twice, replaced the dryer tub itself twice, we had the air flow stop, and now the heat has stopped. Thank goodness I purchased an extended warranty, otherwise who knows what these repairs would have cost. I think I got a lemon. I have had multiple repairs, and days of not being able to use our dryer.

All of my husband’s dark police uniforms have grey powdery looking streaks on them after they come out of the machine. Does not matter how I load the clothes. The horrible results are the same. Approximately 2 years after purchasing a Whirlpool Gold side-by-side/counter depth refrigerator, I noticed cracks on the interior walls. This was in 2011. First, I contacted the service contract people. They told me this was not covered under the policy. Next, I wrote & called the company. They told me they could send someone out to EPOXY the walls. I told them this was not at all acceptable to me and that I believe this is a defective product. I have never heard of this happening to a refrigerator. I am also quite concerned that there are toxins emitted through these cracks. After a time with no response, I wrote them again. This time, they referred me to Ms. Alicia ** at the Exec. Offices. She wrote asking me to call her. After making several calls & leaving messages to no avail, I wrote her asking that she kindly write back to inform me what the company was going to do about this defective product. I cant help thinking they did not want to commit to anything in a letter because I never heard from her or anyone else at Whirlpool. Small Claims Court cannot help as the company does not have an office in New York. I am very worried about the possible health hazard this possesses. I am very careful to completely cover all food inside the refrigerator. At this point, the cracks have increased in size and new ones have appeared. I am very upset over the lack of concern and lack of response from Whirlpool.Ive owned many Whirlpool appliances through the years and trusted the brand. This is not a cheap appliance. Consumers dont expect to spend a few thousand dollars on a product just to dump it in a year or two. Given the size of the Whirlpool Corp., anyone would think they would simply replace their defective product to keep their reputation if not for the health concern of their customers, which should be a priority. Over the past few years, I have had increased respiratory problems and so have other family members. I believe its due to the emissions from the cracks. I will have to dump this defective refrigerator before it gives me cancer! Thanks Whirlpool, great doing business with you.

I bought my Whirlpool over the range microwave WMH32L19AS November 28, 2015. We started having problems with it, working intermittently one year later. I called Whirlpool in January 2017 and they told me it was out of warranty and it would cost $150.00 for a repair person to just look at it. I decided to just keep using the microwave because I only paid $232.00 for it and I figured after parts and labor if would probably cost over $200.00 to fix it. I called Whirlpool back in June because the microwave wouldnt shut off and even kept running when you opened the door. Whirlpool sent out a repair person at no cost to fix it. But the repair person told me Whirlpool only paid for him to diagnose the problem. I had to pay for the repair. After working on the microwave and replacing sensors and fuses he determined the microwave irreparable. I called Whirlpool back and they just told me that my microwave is 1 1/2 years old and they were not responsible after 1 year and I should have bought the extended warranty. I will never buy another Whirlpool appliance again.

Bought this washer in 2013 for close to $800. About a year and half old it got real loud sounds like a freight train. Asked whirlpool repairman about it, and was told it is a main bearing going out. He said it would cost over $500 to fix it. Whirlpool warranty sucks - only one year. Called whirlpool, told them the problem and asked if this is a problem with this washer. Got told no they have no problems with it. Found out later not only do they have this problem with it they change design because of it. Repairman said his own daughter had same problem and he had many service calls on this model all with same problem. WHIRLPOOL WILL NOT REPAIR OR REPLACE PRODUCT WHICH IS A MANUFACTURE DEFAULT. It sets in our house unusable. I will never buy a whirlpool product again. Sad because that use to be all I would buy.

They each had a different theory on why it wasnt working properly. Im now waiting for parts to be delivered and then service to be scheduled. When I contacted customer service, I was told (after waiting on hold for about 1 hour) that it was customer misuse. Ahem, first I heard that, and I think I know how to use a washing machine. I asked to speak with a supervisor. More waiting. Tina (#**) told me she will contact the service company about the parts. I told her to please conference me in on the call because I want to hear the outcome (and I dont want to wait another 1+ hour to reach customer service again). She put me on hold and then disconnected me! Really, all this time and 3 service people... Would be cheaper to just replace the machine altogether. What a headache!

I recently renovated my kitchen and was so excited to have a new range. Loved the looks of this one so I bought it. I’ve had it a little over a year now, and am so disappointed. The “stainless” trim around the knob area is peeling and the AquaLift self-clean DOES NOT WORK! After the AquaLift cycle, there was a watery mess in the bottom of the oven which was difficult to clean up. It would have been better if I had cleaned it the conventional way. I’m not sure what to do at this point. The area where the trim peeled off looks awful and is very noticeable. Take my advice and do not buy!

The only thing Whirlpool is offering is another of their machines at a discounted price. I value principles more than dollars. I refuse to give them another $600+ as a reward for making junk which apparently should have been recalled. The part I need is not available any place Ive found online. In November 2014, I purchased a Whirlpool 22 cu ft side by side refrigerator from my local appliance store. During that short time, there have been 4 instances where the ice clumps together and gets stuck, causing a large amount of ice to dump inside the freezer door. When the door is opened, the ice falls out onto the floor. I usually spend 10 minutes picking up ice and wiping up my kitchen floor. I have had the local store repairman over. He told me that was normal. Two things are seriously wrong with that statement. When I spend 1600.00 for a brand new appliance, I should be able to depend on the fact that it will function in at least a somewhat acceptable manner. Additionally, that statement by the repairman convinced me that he was not really interested in fixing the problem. I really dont think the normal operation of a new appliance is for it to make frequent, large messes for the owner to clean up. This appliance is junk and you would be foolish to purchase it. Spend a bit more money and buy a Samsung or LG. Save yourself the frustration and sense that you have been cheated and deceived by Whirlpool. I will never buy this brand again.

There seemed to be an issue with the Whirlpool Cabrio Washer Pump. If a button comes off from your clothing or snap, etc., it gets trapped in the washer pump, causing it to crack and leak. Whirlpool on warranty only allows for one free change and anything after that costs $300.00. This is going to be the third time we are having problems with this and it is becoming, economically, a struggle for us. We have checked every button and snap to make sure they are fastened tightly, as well as any other type of items that may fall off in the wash and become trapped in the pump causing it to crack and leak. These pumps were poorly made and Whirlpool needs to be more aware of this problem rather than telling the customer that they are not aware of the situation.

I purchased a replacement gas range (whirlpool) approximately 3 years ago. Its not the top of the line, no bells or whistles such as a self-cleaning oven or such. I did love the three huge grates on top, one which is interchangeable with a flat grill. If it only worked it would be a decent range. The center oblong burner struggled to ignite in full from the beginning. Often, I light the thing with a grill lighter. But the thing that pisses me off more than anything is the F2 error that appears 70% of the time on the control panel when I am preheating the freaking oven. I am NOT replacing the control panel on a $400.00 range. What I have discovered is I can hit off my power at the main, not once, but 2-3xs and reset or over ride the damn thing. I read this F2 code is a common occurrence so I got to thinking, why? My conclusion is the heat from the oven is vented up & directly on the control board panel. Really now, whos bright idea was it to expose a control board to repeated temps of 350+? Hate this appliance. Next range will NOT be a new one, Im looking to replace this junk with something mom or grandma had that lasted decades, not a couple years. Shame on you Whirlpool for producing such low quality, disposable products. By the way, I just went through this with a new fridge so theres much to be desired with new appliances. Theyre junk, designed to fail.

Whirlpool Duet $1300, in the past we had great service from other Whirlpool products. Just a more modern look and knowing it was a company we had used in the past with very little or no problems so we expected the same only with energy and water savings. We are energy aware and believe in conserving energy and water where we can. My wife wanted to stick with the brand that gave us good service in the past and chose one of their most conservative units on the market (I believe it was based mainly on looks). What burns me the most about this unit is its constant consumption of clothing, the repair guy found nothing askew with the unit and suggested smaller loads. So we reduced the load size smaller and smaller till we were washing each outfit separately and guess what, it still ate clothes, just chews them up.We lose about a hundred dollars a month in clothing. This washer tears holes and shreds clothing on almost every load, I have to put shirts and lighter clothes to the back of the washer then load the heavier blue jeans and such toward the front and hope they finish in the same position or something is ruined. The fabric becomes distressed, stretched, shredded or has holes, or any combination of the above. We have taken to going to a laundromat or sending clothes to the cleaners. These units are three years old and we are now looking for a replacement for the washer because the local service guy won’t even come out any more. This problem surfaced within a week of the first use of the machine and has remained steady, as we are retired and travel a lot we are not always using them so they are what I would term very lightly used.

Our problem is the same problem with hundreds of other people: Whirlpool fridges burning, smoking, and being a life threatening hazard to families all over America because of the faulty relay to compressor. Whirlpool better recall this model. They need to fix this or they will have much bigger issues to deal with (corporate manslaughter from a known issue and no action or protection for its consumers). The refrigerator is a result of Whirlpool’s negligence; thus, it’s potentially deadly.

Washes only doesnt do anything else and trying desperately to drain water out. Of course I have to take clothes out and bring to laundry. Tech comes back next day. Now he cant get any cycles to work either. Fried, tech says. Sets me up for next Saturday, fine. Now get a call on Monday, not coming. Tuesday is next appointment. Apparently inventory representative says. Didnt know that before??? Call Whirlpool, service first, then company. I want a new one, this is definitely a lemon. Nope, tech will be there on Tuesday. I hope Whirlpool reads this. They should be ashamed of their company. They used to be good, always bought their products. Dont buy these machines, trust me you dont need the aggravation. The repair guy that they sent out the first time said this repair was a major problem with the duets but the company chooses to not acknowledge the problem. They should be required to have a recall. Never by this dryer, you will regret it!

I purchased a washing machine and dryer 1 year ago. Since then it has started to get spots on the control panel where you select size, temperature, etc. I also purchased an extended warranty through Home Depot and is still under warranty for 3 years. I was told for a few more days is still under man warranty. I contacted Whirlpool and they said it is not their problem and sounds cosmetic - I think this is unfair being that I spent a lot of money and it has started appearing on the washer and dryer. No one wants to be responsible. I am a consumer who is very careful and have not had any spills or cleaned it with anything.

We bought our Whirlpool Cabrio in 3/09 from Lowes for $1000. Like many of you, we thought we were purchasing a quality product that we would use for many years. I never thought my clothes were getting clean, but I thought it was just because I wanted to see them floating in water. Its been 3.2 years and now were plagued with the code F51. Whirlpool is definitely aware of the many problems with these machines. They are also, obviously, unconcerned about the problems we are experiencing. Whirlpool will never stand behind their products if they dont have to. Please go online and write reviews everywhere you can. If we warn people and cause Whirlpool to lose a few dollars, they just might decide to stop selling junk. I plan on starting with all the stores in my area.

Purchased this refrigerator in 7/2017. I cant stand it. Its pretty and works, but the NOISE!! I bought a white noise machine and placed it on the countertop next to the refrigerator just to drown out the noise (very high pitched sound). Repairmen came out twice. A part was replaced, but nothing changed. Said have to live with it. Dont buy Whirlpool or youll go crazy listening to this all day, especially with an open concept home. You can hear it everywhere!

We purchased our Whirlpool Refrigerator #WRT519SZDB from the Home Depot 2 years and 10 Months ago. About three weeks ago it started to freeze items in the frig section. We lowered the frig section cooling level one selection and went on a two week vacation. When we came back, everything in the freezer section was thawed out. We had a tech look at it and he told us that the compressor was partly seized and overheating. Tried to reach someone at Whirlpool customer service by phone, email, and chat but so far, I have not had anyone contact Me back? Looks like repair will cost almost as much as a replacement refrigerator. So much for Whirlpool being a trusted brand!

We purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine on 3-18-16. In February of 2017 the washer died. I was bleaching my whites at the time so most of the clothes, whites fell apart because they sat in bleach and water for 2 days. I had to figure out how to get them out without getting bleach and water all over my clothes. I called whirlpool and they got someone to come fix it. The tech came and said we needed a new control panel. We waited 3 weeks for the panel. He came on 3-24-17. He put the part in. Took less than 10 min and said, All set. I went downstairs and put a few things in. I was a bit leery and the machine started. I went back upstairs and I hear beeping. I go back down and the machine is flashing again. I called the repair people they said, Unplug it for 10 min. It may reset itself. If it doesnt, call back. It didnt. I called back and wanted me to wait till the following week. I told her I had clothes in there.Someone came the next morning and said it needed a harness and they would order it. Well its the 28th and I havent heard anything. I have called whirlpool several times with no satisfaction. We had the machine less than a year and its been dead for 2 months. I am disabled. I have multiple sclerosis so every day is a new issue. I hate to put that in here but I want you to know what Im dealing with along with a dead washer. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

One month after the delivery/installation of this new refrigerator, it began making loud noises when cooling the top refrigeration unit. After the 4th service call and replacement parts, the noise ceased for 3 months. The noise has returned and Im now scheduling the 5th service call for the same problem. Thank goodness I purchased the extended protection plan through Lowe’s when I bought my three new Whirlpool kitchen appliances. Whirlpool used to be known for quality and dependable appliances. It stopped working and I found that it needs a new control panel and recirculating pump which will cost $390, including labor (plus the cost of the service call to diagnose the problem). We have a 2 1/2 yr. old Whirlpool gas stove. We have had the mechanic here several times as it would not ignite. We also have had the control panel repaired twice as it melted. It is melted again but they will do nothing. I tried to clean the oven with their AquaLift technology and had to re-do it four times and still have residue which appears to be permanent. If you have the double oven below with bad board, start shopping for a new oven, but the part is no longer made. How can you end of the life a product after only 6 years? This is about the RBD305PDS12 double oven! I have wasted 3.5 days with Whirlpool/Maytag. Its very Frustrating how each department passes you along and makes promises about what the other department can do, resulting in zero satisfaction. None of them are well informed to say the least.I have a 6-year-old double oven that has a bad board and after 3 days, I find out it is no longer made. I paid $1500.00 six plus years ago and now I get to spend $2000 plus to get a new one. Again, how can you end of life a product after only 6 years?

I have a Whirlpool Duet Steam Washer that will be two years old in September 2013. It has been making terrible, loud noises during the spin cycle for a few months now. Repair tech told me it was the bearings and very costly. It will cost me over half of the original cost to repair a less than two year old washer. This is my second Duet front loader from Whirlpool. The first one was a drum issue and the rod ended up snapping. Again, very costly so I bought a new one. I should have learned my lesson the first time. I do not agree with extended warranties and it is just an additional money maker for the manufacturer. They should be making the product so people do not have to purchase those. Anyway, back to the washer at hand. I refuse to spend that much on a newer washer and will never purchase a Whirlpool product again. I will let this thing bang for as long as it is going to last. Unfortunately have also just purchased the dryer that matches this washer since I still had the old model Duet Dryer, so kind of stuck with them. Spent an hour and a half yesterday on the phone talking to people at Whirlpool and they really dont care if you have an issue or not no matter how old your machine is. They just want you to have purchased the extended warranty or forget it. There should be a recall and they should be helping these customers who all seem to be having the same issue. Done with them!!

Ive barely used my oven but had some cheese pizza drip on it so thought I should clean before using again. What a JOB! The spill did not come off the bottom entirely and using the non-scratch scrubbing sponge was a joke. I paid a lot of money for this because I thought it would be high quality and last for quite a while without problems. First of all, you HAVE to open the right door before the left door and then remember to ALWAYS close the left door first and then the right door. If you dont the doors dont close well and your refrigerator gets hot AND THERE IS NO BUZZER OR ALARM TO TELL YOU THE DOORS ARENT CLOSED. After 2 years the freezer repeatedly freezes up and then the refrigerator heats up. My repairman says the controls on this refrigerator are WAY odd and instead of just buying an inexpensive part (defrost timer for example for $50) he need to order the entire control for probably 3 time more. NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR TROUBLE. BUY ANYTHING OTHER THAN WHIRLPOOL GOLD.

Was told everyone was having problems...so sent us a brand new fridge...happy!! Little over a year later started having problems with this one and was told no warranty, didnt transfer to new fridge and no one offered to sell us a new one at the time, so repairs were out of our pocket. Had new condenser installed, still no ice, had circuit board installed, got ice but refrigerator section isnt cooling after almost $700 out of pocket...dont waste your money on a Whirlpool. This product deserves ZERO stars! I purchased a Cabrio washer - dryer in October, 2013. I have carefully followed the instructions for the washer. I am hugely distressed about the large amount of money I spent on a washer that is absolutely terrible, horrible, awful., no words can adequately express how bad this so-called washer is. The low-water washing has torn up all of my new towels in the matter of a couple of washes. It has completely ripped out the hems of the towels and pulled long ragged strings in the towel. And these were not cheap towels. I am mad at myself for not researching better before buying. I hope my complaint can save another consumer from the misery I am suffering because of this shameful product.

I’ve had this washer since October 2018. Worst purchase ever. It does not clean the clothes nor does it put enough water in it. I’ve tried the deep water option too and it’s for sure still not enough. I don’t understand how they even thought that this was perfectly fine to sell. If I could’ve taken it back a month after having it, I for sure would. And no one will buy it because they’ve read reviews of how it’s terrible. I wasted $900 on this washer. I have the dryer also which works amazing. The washer just sucks something terrible. My husbands military uniforms always look dirty and a lot of the clothes aren’t ever wet. I’ve finally seen a picture of how you’re supposed to have clothes in there. Why in the world would you only allow barely a layer of clothes at the very bottom to be cleaned by the agitator? Why would you have this huge drum only to put not even a load in there? This was such a waste Whirlpool and I’m glad I’m not the only person who has the same issue. I will never purchase another Whirlpool washer, it’s upsetting I can’t currently get rid of this crap washer I have now.

Having spent over RS 40000 on a so-called quality product one does not expect to spend nearly 20000 within the first two years of the purchase. 1. As soon as the warranty got over the PCB (costing 3000) broke down. 2. This replacement had a 3 MONTH warranty. Exactly after 9 months again the PCB breaks down along with leakage of gas. The service team asks us to buy a stabilizer to ensure that no such issues occur as they attribute these breakdowns to voltage fluctuations which are not of any precedence in Delhi. Also the product I am using was sold to me as a stabilizer-free working. 3. I made the suggested investments 4 months later the fan and motor of the freezer stop working. Imagine so much repair work on a new equipment. I have been writing to them yet all that they say in response is we are looking into the matter. NO ONE SHOULD BUY WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATORS.

Whirlpool Model WDT920SADM0 Dishwasher. We built a new modular home so Abraham Builders ordered all my kitchen appliances in 2014. We did not move in and start using the appliances until June, 2016. Here is what happened during the first 6 months: 1) Would not dissolve dry soap or packets as there were still particles and plastic in the dispenser. 2) Dishes were not getting clean and were spotty. 3) Would not dry dishes, ever!!! 4) Parts would keep popping off as we would find them on the bottom or hanging down. 5) Final straw was this morning around 4 a.m. (12/4/16)... woke up to the smell of wire burning in the house and discovered it was coming from the dishwasher that we had put on delay wash that night and when we opened the door, smoke came out from inside!!Since it was past purchase warranty date, we had no warranty and the builder would not return any of my calls on any problems and the manufacturer of my house closed the factory. Needless to say, we now have to spend another $900+ for another dishwasher! Not happy at all about this Whirlpool model and would not recommend it.

I bought this piece of junk Whirlpool Cabrio washer two years ago and it’s been nothing but junk. Just like everyone else, this thing has never gotten my clothes clean no matter what I do. Anything with a drawstring or straps gets ripped up or stretched out. It’s loud and shakes, even though it’s leveled. Now, to top it off, it’s leaking water from the basket seal. So now Im stuck either fixing this thing or buying a new washer. Every appliance in my house is a Whirlpool and Ive had nothing but problems with several of them.
