I purchased an LG microhood and almost immediately, the stove lights melted and burned through the plastic covers. Unfortunately, I didnt report it until after the year warranty was up, but when I did report it, they still wouldnt stand behind their product. I googled the problem and others were having the same problem. Any other appliance manufacturer would have stood behind their product, but not LG. The guy in customer service said I was the only one with this problem. I told him to do an internet search on this and see all the others with the same problem and he laughed at me and hung up. Yes, he actually laughed and hung up saying there was nothing they could do. This is clearly a manufacturers defect, plain and simple. Also, the plastic clip holding the filter in broke while I was changing a filter. Also, I will have to replace the light bulb covers every time they melt through as the plastic is burnt and cracked and can fall into food. The light bulbs blow quickly. Buying this product has been a disaster. I will never buy another LG product again, just based on the way I was treated by customer service alone.

I purchased the LG Probake gas range 2 1/2 years ago. Of course after a year the warranty was up and I had to have it repaired. It cost 300.00 to repair and it is very hard to find someone to work on it. I was told LG doesnt have spec sheets for anyone to repair their products. It makes it hard. I was also told that it is hard to find parts as LG Discontinues them frequently. Got it fixed in December of 2019 and here we are again. The convection oven stopped working and was shooting out flames. I researched and found out this always fails on this range. Totally disappointed. Couldnt find anyone to repair it in my area and I tried to order the part for it and spent an additional 80.00. Still can not get it to work. Now I am at the point of buying a different range and definitely wont be an LG. I am so upset. I wasted my money. It was the first brand new range I purchased for my family and I have only had it for 2 and a half years.

I bought a front load LG Washer almost 8 years ago. Amazing how much you can put in it! Never had any trouble with it. Amazing how much water it saves! Just proves that LG is exceptional. All my appliances will be LG-if I find them on sale. Theyre just a bit pricy for my budget. But worth it!

Im writing this letter in regards to my refrigerator. Ive been having problems with my refrigerator since last October after several repairs done to the refrigerator. I had contacted the LG company regarding the fault that I have with my refrigerator. A technician came to check the refrigerator and placed the monitor, and because that they had already replaced the part in the refrigerator previously, they said there was no fault found. So, I asked for a copy of the report, and they refused to send me a copy. They sent me another technician to install another monitor, and the technician was so ore gent man. He said to me I must have bad luck to have the same problem with the refrigerator. I said, Do not say that. Dont mix my luck with a faulty LG product.I called LG and Jackson company. I told them about what the technician said to me and told them I dont appreciate any one, no matter who you are, to come to my house and accuse me of having a bad luck. So, they told me that the manager is away to make the final decision. I kept calling LG, and they said the manager was on holiday that went for a couple of months. Then finally, when I called back in May, they said the manager was back and there were no faults found and that your warranty has expired; you have to get your own technician. When I was going back and forward with LG, I was dealing with Rod. I had mentioned to him if there were no fault found, if I could get a second opinion and compare the results with their report. He refused, and he said, If you get any one to check the refrigerator, it will be no longer covered by warranty. Finally, I called last 14/8/2012 and complained how its not fair that I have been treated like it. It is not my fault for having a faulty LG refrigerator. Im still waiting for Jackson to call me again, going through what we have been through for the past almost 10 months. Thank you for your time.

Top of the line did not last 3 years. It stopped getting cold. We know that happens but the customer service is the worst I have ever seen. I have been on the phone for 2 days now at least 5 hours and they first scheduled a repair with MODERN APPLIANCE SERVICE who said they would be here between 8 and 12 pm on Wed and at 11 pm on Wed they called us to inform us it would be 7 days before they could have someone here. We called LG back again and again and now they will call us back when their scheduling dept finds someone to look at it. Our son has diabetes and has to keep his insulin cold and thats not happening and LG could care less. We are buying ice to keep it cold. No one has called us back and we have talked to with 3 managers so far and no one has called us back and we have no service date yet. Wonder how long this will go on? I am getting ready to call them again and spend today on the phone begging for help after spending $4000 on a Refrigerator. Update. We took their phone survey after their 10th call and said we were not happy with the results of the call and they had the ** to call us right back tell me they did not appreciate the review or deserved the low score on the review I gave them. Now we still have a $4000 refrigerator that is not working, cant get anyone to fix it for any amount of money and they have time to call me and tell me they did not like my review. I am speechless. It seems they are not going to help us and I am not sure they will call back now. I think I am going to have to place these reviews every hour until I get some attention. So be it.

I purchased an LG Inverter because I had purchased an LG washer and dryer set and I was happy with them. The dishwasher in the beginning worked okay. Now the dishwasher stinks and my dishes are not clean after a 2-hour wash. They come out filmy and dirty. I wash the dishes before they go into the washer and it still does not help. And my clothes washer has developed a horrible smell. I have followed the cleaning instructions with marginal success. With the dryer, I was able to program dryer settings and now that doesnt work. I will never buy another LG product again. Buyer beware, do not buy these products.

First contact on Feb 23rd for compressor replacement, 5 years into a ten-year compressor warranty. Lengthy wait on hold,13 verifiable calls later, as of March 5th, there has been no authorization for a compressor to be shipped to the service vendor. Service vendor made 7 of 10 calls in one day. LG will not provide a direct number to reach the same person twice. They will provide you with a badge number and first name. When you call back, there is no way to get back to the same person. Today they tell me it takes five days to process a parts authorization. They also tell me it will be another 7 to 10 days before they ship the parts once they are ordered.Once that happens, the service provider has to order the parts, and reschedule service at the home location. Both my self and the service provider have been sent to another company called Encompass who then has you start all over. I was told on March 1st that the authorization was in my email, all I had to do was open it. On March 2nd, I was assured it would be processed in 24 to 48 hours. Today, that has grown to 5-7 business days to approve parts. This has left me no choice other than to be a month or more without a refrigerator. The original purchase price was just over $2700.00 on sale.

I purchased a LG electric range Model No. LRE30453ST on 11/25/2011 for $885.90 from Home Depot. Unfortunately I hardly used the oven to realize I was sold a defective range. The electronic control pad does not work for any of the oven options because the start sensor is defective. I called both Home Depot (Store 2901 - 228-867-9925) and LG (1-800-243-0000) customer service departments. I was told by LG they only have a one year warranty on their products and Home Depot told me that they only have a two year warranty period. All I know is that I have basically a new appliance that took me 1 years to pay off and it is now nothing more than a decoration taking up space in my kitchen. Shame on LG Electronics and Home Depot for selling defective appliances. I make just a little over minimum wage and have no way to purchase a new range. This makes me so mad. I have had ranges that lasted over 20 years and now my range just sits there doing nothing!

The knobs are not safe just brushing against them just as other reviewers have said and you have gas leaking into your home-no safety lock position. The oven warms up to 500 degrees no matter where you set the temperature, I have burnt everything I put into this oven as I cannot calibrate to get a correct 350 degree which is at where most baking is done! There must be some website or news outlet to alert the public of this piece of junk produced by LG. Will not be buying nor recommending any product made by LG. I will be putting this on our Nextdoor website as there are lots of homes here in upper $$ that are buying and replacing appliances in their homes!

Unfortunately, the compressor broke on my LG refrigerator. I filed a claim and it took them roughly two weeks to fix it. They couldn’t send anybody out and the day that I had it scheduled, the guy cancelled on me at the last minute and said that he got the wrong part. So me, my husband, and my little baby were living out of a cooler for two weeks because no one could fix our fridge. I was super upset because it was a brand new fridge that we bought and it was four years. Eventually, they fixed it but I still feel that it doesn’t cool that great. Then they told us that we should only be keeping it 40% full, which is ridiculous because you don’t buy a fridge to only keep at 40% full or it’s not gonna work properly. But that was what the technician told us. We’ve had ongoing issues with this, too. All the little baskets that you can put the milk or sauce containers on are breaking off because the plastic is so brittle and there’s a weak point in it. The design of the plastic is not well-designed. When you spent $2,000 on a fridge, you don’t expect in four years that the containers on the door that you should be able to store things in, are gonna break off. Then the replacement is $90 and when I read all the reviews, people are saying not to even bother replacing it because it’s gonna break again. So, my husband and I decided that we’re never gonna buy an LG again.

The features and other pieces of this dryer are impressive. However, something as simple as a poorly fitting lint screen has made the machine a nightmare. Although I replaced the lint screen at least twice with the LG specified type, and tried any number of machinations, approx. 75% of the loads end up with a piece of laundry catching the right side (facing the machine) of the lint screen and the entire load (or a large part of it) getting tangled in a knot. The longer the dryer runs, the worse the tangle, and the more damage is done to clothing. So the choices are to watch the load run the entire time or resign yourself to tangles and throwing damaged clothes away. Product Services at the company has not responded to my complaints, hence this review.

We bought 5 LG appliances in April of 2010 and had them installed in August same year. So far we have had to have the wall oven repaired twice after only 3 years. After the first repair it broke down again within 7 months and we were told the warranty for the new part was only 6 months! Trying to get a second repair took over a month of angry phone calls just to try to get a LG certified repair shop to even book an appointment! When contacting customer service they will not let you speak with any sort of management/supervisory personnel and there is no way to receive an address for a letter of complaint. Our convection microwave also stopped working after less than 3 years and had to be replaced at the same time as the second oven repair. Should have been done with the first oven repair but could not get the part from LG in time and they were going to charge for another service call!Side by side double drawer bottom mount freezer refrigerator hasnt had the water dispenser work for a couple years. Their top of the line dishwasher has been having grinding sounds for over a year and this week is now on a continual run cycle no matter which cycle you request, just does not stop as well as having the loud grinding sound the whole time it runs whether 2 minutes or 20 hours! Just waiting for our induction cooktop to be the last of the appliances to quit, should be coming any time now! It astounds me that consumers can pay top dollar for products and get lower than average results with the products and customer service. Trying to speak to anyone within the customer service center is a lesson in how not to conduct business, and not being able to have a contact address or email or phone number for customer complaint is infuriating.

So my LG stove stopped working I purchased it at Home Depot and 2 of my burners stay on HI and the other two on LO. I contacted LG about and they said there was waiting list. We need to cook and this is unfair because I need my stove. I cannot cook on HI all the time. I am very unhappy with the service because I contacted them and they said that they would take about a week to come look at it. I cannot leave my kids without eating. This is just plain and simple. Updated on 09/09/2021: Earlier this week, I submitted a review about my 2015 LG electric dryer. Today, after 25 minutes of trying screw extractors and the rubber band trick, an LG approved appliance repairman was able remove the front panel to determine the cause of non-heating heat element. Turns out that that there was an electric wire fire near back left side of dryer. A green wire which allows power to the heating element melted, sparked, and melted part of the neutral white wire next to it and there is black soot on the dryer lid. This could have burned down my home with my family in it! Now, have to have an electrician cut off the burnt part of the wire. But, this could happen again.Original Review: In 2015, I purchased a new washer front loading set, only to have to exchange the dryer for top loading model because front load models silicone collar would stink after each load even though I disinfected it after every load. The dryer has been great, but the heating element or thermostat died this August 2021. Worst of all, the dryer cannot be serviced because the factory installed door panel screws were over tightened. The screw heads cannot be drilled into to remove the screws to replace early expired parts. The dryer is now a nothing but a huge paper weight! Do not buy LG dryers. Contacting residential customer support almost impossible. I will be contacting the media should LG not make this right.

I bought a refrigerator with an LG compressor in it in September of 2016. Two days ago it stopped working. I looked at the warranty, parts are covered for 1 year and the compressor is covered for 10 years. After I had a tech out to look at the problem the total cost to repair the fridge was $850 which included a free compressor that was covered under the warranty. The issue was all of the other parts that were damaged by the oil leaking out of the faulty compressor are not covered under the parts warranty. This is a total scam by LG who made inferior products. The tech told me the replacement would be the compressor that just broke and I would be back in the same spot 2-3 years from now. Does LG think 2-3 year for a refrigerator is a normal life span??

We purchased an LG refrigerator with ice maker about 4 years ago. We have had several issues with this unit because the ice maker would continually overfill and flood the back of the unit. We contacted LG for service, only to realize that it would take two weeks to install a new compressor and worrying if that would hold. LG WT487OCW top loading washing machine - Purchased 7 months ago. Since day one the machine gave constant signals of being out of balance. We constantly have to restart the machine extending washing time to an average of 1 1/2 to 2 hours. The diagnostic system built into the machine is not helpful. It diagnosed a different problem and could not correct it. Currently it dispenses water during the spin cycle, again extending the total cycle due to having to restart the machine. Customer service did reply with a warranty repair that is pending. In contact with the servicing contractor who stated that software problems with this machine are common and a motherboard and flywheel may be the needed repair. We will see.

Purchased an LG side by side refrigerator in October 2016 with an extended warranty. Last week 7/20/20 I noticed a warm freezer and warm refrigerator temp. I called LG to schedule a service call and was told August 4 was the next availability. Also was told that was the best they could do. I researched area authorized LG repair and found Sears appliance repair. When I called they had told me July 28 was their next available date. I called LG back to let them know, I was told that dispatch could not be changed even after I found the earliest available date from a factory authorized repair center. Sears told me that warranty would have to be submitted directly to LG by me after repair and bill was taken care of. Sears was great. They came earlier than expected, had the parts on the truck and all was fixed in a couple of hours. We paid the bill and contacted LG for warranty claim. Not only was my wife put on hold for hours when asking for a supervisor, but when a supervisor finally connected we were vehemently denied any warranty. The reasoning was that the company they dispatched did not do the repair. When I explained the situation I was told I should have received a repair work order authorization number by the dispatcher for Sears which I never received or was told about. I also suggested that I pay for labor and asked if LG would at least pay for parts (which I still have) and again was denied. Roughly $550 in parts, $450 in labor and it looks like I will be handling the full amount with no resolution. I do not understand why LG did not help better in this situation. I found that these linear compressors have a high failure rate, have multiple class action lawsuits working against LG and poor customer service help from the start to help me rectify this problem. I just do not understand.

We purchased an LG French door with freezer drawer in bottom. Have had problems with mold developing along the door gaskets as doors do not closed properly. Yesterday, there was an odor that smelled like burning plastic. It smelled like some electrical insulation was burning. The smell diminished, but this morning we discovered that the electrical cord was burning at the outlet. I called the service contract people and was told that the electric cord was not covered, that if they sent someone out it would cost $100.00+. Drove to the local HHGregg store where we purchased it originally and spoke with the manager, which was as helpful as talking to the service provider. In my opinion, both Gregg and the service provider are dishonest about their policy coverage. It appears that I am not alone with this problem.

Don’t buy an LG refrigerator in Anchorage, Alaska! No service company in Anchorage will do LG sealed system warranty work. When our 5.5 year old LG refrigerator (model LFX21976) stopped cooling and freezing, we called an Anchorage technician to come check it. He determined that it had a compressor failure which is a sealed system issue a warranty item. He called LG to establish a claim. The LG contact ran through a diagnostic and told our tech to first replace the inverter control (not a warranty item). Our tech refused, telling LG that he was not going to charge us for work that he knew was not the problem. He persuaded the LG contact to record our claim as a sealed system (compressor) issue. Our techs company refuses to do sealed system warranty work for LG.When we called LG to confirm the warranty repair and find out who would do LG warranty work, we were given 3 names. One was the company we originally contacted. The second advised that they too will not do LG sealed system warranty work. Only the third, located in Palmer, AK, would do the work. He charges a $35 travel fee for the hour drive to Anchorage. Having no choice, we made an appointment. He confirmed the sealed system compressor problem. Because we would be traveling, he took our refrigerator to his shop so he could work on it there when the part arrived. We expected the work to be completed when we returned. When he contacted LG to have the part shipped, he was told to replace the inverter board and main PCB not warranty items. He did this work without contacting us. He said he had to go with what LG said even though he and LG had both been told that the inverter board and main PCB were both functioning correctly. When we returned, the Palmer tech said, Good news. It wasn’t what he thought and it did not cost as much as the warranty work would have. It did cost $438.95. He brought our refrigerator back in a few days but advised not to plug it in until the next day so the fluids could settle. We plugged it in; it did not cool or freeze. The same problem we originally reported. When he came back several days later, he concluded that it really was a sealed system compressor problem. It then took more than two weeks to get the part. He did the repair. The refrigerator again works. But the warranty only covers the part, not the $450 labor. We were without use of our refrigerator for two months and paid for unnecessary work. A 5.5 year old refrigerator should not fail! Based on other reviews maybe we were lucky to have it work that long! But the lack of service companies willing to do LG warranty work is reason not to buy an LG refrigerator in Anchorage, Alaska.

Its not overfilled or a small load. Continued get worse. There is NO SPIN ONLY OPTION so the washer will wash forever, hours trying to spin out. At times I will have to set it through 5 or 6 other cycles till maybe finally spin out. This is insane. Clothes seem dingy, washer dispenser not completely emptying. Some water from leak at one corner at times. You can wash one load for hours. Using water and electricity. Service coming again. My LG model LFX28978 is technically designed for the convenience of LG not the customer or service companies. First problem - the ice maker. Poorly designed so that the cable energizing the cube tray rotation motor was too short and managed to pull itself apart. New Ice maker needed. Second problem freezer not cold enough. Freezer Fan motor would not function. Resolution was to REPLACE the entire motherboard for the whole refrigerator unit! There are no simple relays to turn fans, lights and other necessary apparatus on and off; it all comes from the Motherboard (on board computer) so replacing that is the only answer. That is like designing a high end laptop or desktop where the CPU has to be replaced to resolve a key stroke problem! Next, water would not flow into the unit for the ice maker or the water dispenser? Problem is that at the main water input from the hose to the refrigerator there is a very complicated system where the water comes in and then goes up into the refrigerator cabin through a replaceable filter then back down the intake valve where there are more lines and solenoid valves to then feed the Ice Maker and Water dispenser? These are all controlled by (yes you guessed it) the main computer board! There is more but you get the idea. By the way, dont expect a reasonable service response. It is not part of the LG DNA. It is tedious and contra instinctive. The contract service people who come to work on our LG refrigerator love it. Quote our last service tech LG is great. That is how I can afford have all the things my family really likes! Without LG I couldnt make nearly as good a living.

My mother who lives in LA got a high tech LG fridge about 4 years ago which 2 months ago its compressor stopped operating and from that time she has made 6 different appointments with LG customers service to fix it! Every time they go and have look at the fridge and they say well, its the compressor and we dont have it with us!!! Thats all they do. Then my mom has to call them again and book another appointment which usually takes 2 weeks for them to appear, and the same story goes on! Its such a shame that the summer is going to finish and my mom couldnt use her fridge for 2 months. I wonder if LGs customer service has any ideas about living without a fridge in the summer time at all??? Its while my mom paid about $4000 for an useless huge box to sit in her kitchen! Thats not acceptable, frustrating and were not only gonna stop buying LG products, but also well get a lawyer to fix this problem ASAP!!!!

We bought a new LG fridge in August 2017... Yesterday Jan.21 2020 (2 1/2 years) the fridge and freezer quit working. I called the LG 1-800 to do a remote Smart Diagnose but none of their agents could get their receiver to work in order to do this. They told me to call the one warranty dealer in my city as I found out today that all the other warranty dealers dropped both LG and Samsung for both warranty and non-warranty works as their products and service are horrible. So the only warranty place said they would not come out and I had to bring in my fridge but they suggested based on what I told them was happening that they would spend $500 plus to maybe still not be able to fix it and to go buy a new one…. LG warranty is on parts only and the guys said its never the parts that are expensive. It is the problem solving time and labor that costs. It turns out they would rather build a product that uses less power for energy savings but the compressors etc fail in short time 2 to 6 years.. Great….

I am the owner of a 2 year old LG French door refrigerator that failed over
I am the owner of a 2 year old LG French door refrigerator that failed over Thanksgiving. Being it was the holidays, I took to dealing with the matter immediately by contacting LGs customer service department. In the initial conversation, we determined that the issue was likely the compressor, which if true, would be covered under warranty. Learning that an authorized technician was needed to service the appliance I was then given a phone number to a local service dealer in the Scottsdale area. This company did not return my call but, I was able to get through the week after Thanksgiving. They told me that they had only one technician on staff authorized and he was out of town for 3 weeks. This was not acceptable being the holidays and the fact that we had a full house.Through my own inquiry, I found one repair service willing to work on LG appliances... most would not because they have a pretty bad reputation it appears. The only issue, was that we needed to have him authorized. This I was able to begin through a chat with a member of the LG customer service department, however, the authorization was never put forward I was to discover. This required another online chat, some apologies and eventually a successful authorization for my serviceman. Now able to open the back of the appliance, indeed it was discovered to be an issue with leaking coolant and a faulty part (parts). Now began the test of getting the parts (under warranty) ordered and delivered to my repairman. The part was ordered and we waited. I requested that someone contact me to let me know when it would arrive. This was wishful thinking. I opened another chat to see where the part was and the LG agent could not find any information and asked for a PON number which I did not have. He said perhaps the part was on back order. To shorten a very long litany of my technician and myself spending hours of precious time getting the runaround with (excuse me) a very incompetent customer service system; my repairman was told after many conversations with the parts dept., that 30 day deadline was expired and we have to start all over again. So another chat last week resulted in a request for authorization again and I was told a rush request would be made for second authorization. I was also again promised that the agent would keep me posted. Yea right. Having no fridge for the holidays with a houseful of family is frustrating in and of itself and 2K plus fridge should not fail in just two years; add a complete run-around by the folks we trusted with hard earned money with their brand over many other choices on the market, to simply supply a part and authorize and repair completely beside myself. All I need is a warrantied part, a second authorization (since time expired because of LG inefficiency), an LG customer service person who will see the process through and an attempt by LG to stand by its motto; life is good. I believe all agree that those requests are reasonable. To date I have had 6 chats average 40 minutes each, three long phone calls, a long wait for the supervisor but disconnected after 20 minutes, 4 letter submissions and a technician about to give up because of time lost from numerous calls to the parts department and total frustration. The fridge failed 11-24-16 and todays date is 1-13-17 and zero success. If anyone knows of a way I can pressure these people for one or two damned parts; (that my service guy could have fixed it in one hour two months ago) please let me know.

I have an LG front load fairly new machine and I absolutely hate it. I loved the fact its suppose to save money as it is and helps the environment. I have had the machine 5 years now. The only thing I like is the lights during the washing procedure. I was looking for efficiency but there is nothing efficient about a heavy soiled load of clothes taking over an hour to wash. The machine does not let you soak or pre soak clothes. With muddy clothing, sometimes things need to soak. The machine smells like mildew or mold all the time. The rubber seal is disgusting to look at and clean. Not sure who came up with this brilliant machine but I think its awful. There is barely any water on the clothing when washing. I dont like it at all and with it being 2,000 I feel like I got ripped off. My dryer is a Samsung steam or dry dryer. Never lost an article of clothing in it. The dryer works great. So far no issues. The machine takes forever to wash. The clothes dry quick because they barely get wet. But they do spin fast. I hate the fact there is still pet hair on my uniform pants and some types of fabrics which really makes me mad. Also I cannot soak soiled clothes. The machine drains out any excess water. I am so not a fan of this machine. I am so annoyed with it. I would trade it off for an older top loading machine in a heartbeat.

I just purchased your $800.00 LG Inverter Direct Drive Dishwasher, Model # LDF6920ST. It does not clean the dishes at all. Im very, very unhappy with your product. The inside stainless steel looks like 7 years old. I have not cleaned my dishes before putting them in a dishwasher since 1992. I cannot believe the electricity/water it uses and how your product - even after rinsing - cannot clean. I feel I need to put an extra rinse to help get the grime off. I have reduced my soap by half and the dishes still feel gritty. There must be something wrong with this. What can/should I do to have a rep come out to see what the problem is?

I have an LG refrigerator with model # LRSC26923SW that is about 5 years old. The so-called purified water line dispenses water that tastes strongly of mold. It is undrinkable and it assumed a health hazard. The filters have been changed on a regular basis and the water line has been used daily until the taste problem occurred.I have tried changing filters and flushing the line but to no avail. LG referred me to an authorized repair service, and I was told that it was a poorly designed system, and I would need to replace the entire door at a huge expense that is not covered by the warranty. In addition to the ice maker going out after 1 year and having to be replaced, I also had major problems with my LG washing machine. I will never buy one of their appliances again.

I purchased an LG washing machine on November 26, 2011. The technician from LG came and put it to function by November 28, 2011. On my 1st use on December 4, 2011, I was shocked to discover a considerable leakage of water underneath the washing machine. I called for repair. First, they adjoined a torn part, then on the second call, they changed the host with leakage with another one. I discovered later in early January 2012 that some considerable number of clothes came out completely dry without being washed. I called for repair. The technician came and said that he cleared something that blocked the way for water passage. I discovered that Im still suffering of the same problem. I sat in front of the washing machine to watch it, then I found that no water was visible from the window and clothes came out with detergents. They came and changed the water balance. Frankly speaking, I lost count of how many times they would come and make repairs in a defective machine that doesnt function.I simply need the value of paid money. I need them to change the defective machine with another one thats functioning well, as I have lost patience with them over the last 6 months. I care about the image of the company, knowing that I also have other LG appliances at home, and I dont want to lose confidence in LG as a brand name. Please, if you are not concerned with my complaint, direct me to the one in charge to resolve my problem. Thank you in advance for your kind cooperation.

We purchased our refrigerator on July 8, 2018. We were remodeling our home and did not actually plug it in until Dec. 2018. Mid May, 2019 *or there about* we experienced warm food and thawing frozen foods. We called the service center (1-800-905-9505) and told them of the problem - and technician took 2 weeks to come diagnose & repair --- replacing the compressor (Work was done on June 1, 2019). July 11th the refrigerator stopped cooling once again. Food lost and frozen food lost. Technician came the next day (12th) repaired.... and following morning (13th) the refrigerator STOPPED COOLING! Called service center on Saturday the 13th - and am still waiting for a call back from LG to set up service call ASAP. We are thoroughly disappointed with the LG refrigerator we purchased for full price - and will NEVER purchase another LG appliance again. Once we get this refrigerator running again we will donate it and have to spend money again on a new refrigerator. Customer service at LG consists of ALL foreigners - barely speaking English and expressing zero ability to satisfy customers. Sincerely,Steffany

Front Loading LG Washer - I have noticed the white laundry coming out with gray blotches on it. This is with the use of bleach and the monthly cleaning regimen suggested by LG upon purchase at Home Depot. Yesterday, I opened the door and found little glass beads in with the laundry. I dont have a clue where they came from and after submitting an inquiry to LG, I was informed that I needed to send a photo of the beads in an email so they could determine what they are. Im not sure what to do.

We purchased an LG refrigerator model # LFXS29766s and an LG double oven stove on 9/3/2016 after the salesperson raved about the quality and reliability of LG’s appliances. On the evening of 8/22/2019 the refrigerator failed (just shy of the 3 year mark). The freezer started to defrost and the ice makers stopped working. By the next morning the refrigerator had stopped cooling and food was found at room temperature. Everything was tossed. A claim was filed through Home Depot (where product was initially purchased with a 5 yr protection plan) and was then forwarded to LG. I was informed on Monday 8/26 by an LG manager that there is no local service department in my area and that service was scheduled through a subcontractor (A&E Service) with the soonest availability being 9/17/2019 (3 weeks out) and that they had no one else that would/could service the refrigerator. They said they could escalate to 9/9/2019 but that is the very best they could offer which is still 2 weeks. The LG manager I spoke to said they would reimburse me up to $200 if I bought a mini fridge to hold us over. I already have a mini fridge and it isn’t suitable unless I plan on feeding my family cereal for the next 2 weeks. We need a functioning refrigerator ASAP and if I go out and buy a new one I’ve basically just thrown away the $2,442.00 I spent on this one. Now we sit here, stuck with a faulty refrigerator, no food in the house and we’re expected to wait weeks for a resolution. This is not acceptable.

I bought an LG gas range model LRG30355ST at Home Depot sometime in 2009, and all the five knobs are all cracked and can no longer be adjusted to low or high. The cost of these knobs are exorbitant and almost costs around 1/3 of the total cost of the gas range. These companies should not be allowed to manufacture substandard parts for their products at the expense of the consumers. Whether they do this on purpose to generate additional revenues, we dont know. But something should be done and shift the responsibility back to companies like LG and make them pay or correct them at no cost to the consumers. Like others, I will no longer buy LG products and will spread the word that LG products are not quality products.

Ive had range for 18 months. When I auto cleaned the oven for the first time (dont use that often) three months ago, the F3 button started flashing about 2 hours into it but it continued to finish cycle. So then the phone calls finally staying home from work for a service repair who takes an hour to assess the range and then he needs to order the part and have it sent and then then set up another appt. but it worked. So I cleaned the lower oven 6 weeks later and the control panel shorts out again. Service is coming so well do the same thing all over again. Why have a self-cleaning oven when every time you use it, the control panel burns itself out? Is it faulty insulation?

Bought a LG dishwasher in October 2016, due to shipping issues did not get until December, installed myself, first use it took about 6 hours to complete a cycle, and dishes were still dirty, soap dispenser never opened. Called Lowe’s, they told me to call LG, and they would schedule a service call. Well they set up one for 30 days from a lawnmower company? They came, said I had a loose wire, my fault, well before they got very far away dishwasher quit. Well to make a long story short, here it is August 18, and my dishwasher still does not work. LG keeps turning me over to AE service which I dont know who is more useless, every time they schedule someone I get a phone call within a few days of appointment from a service tech that either tells me I am too far away to service, or they no longer service LG due to not being paid, some say they cannot get parts, or get wrong parts. I have been told 3 times by LG service that I was being escalated to a buy back since I have had so many problems, but keep getting the run around. Today I was offered to buy an extended warranty, what a joke. At this rate it will be out of warranty before I ever see a repairman, she agreed, and said that’s a good reason to buy this extended repair warranty. If anyone wants to call me ** I am ready to get people together to contact the Better Business Bureau, if they have had the same issue, someone need to stand up for our consumer rights. About 3 years ago I purchased an LG dishwasher Model LDP6797ST. I was very happy with it at first until about 1 year and a couple of months. One day a received the error message AE. At the time I did not know what it stand for. I contacted LG and to their credit they sent a technician to repair the unit. What he did that day is replaced a circuit board at the door and the machine was working. And now 2 years later after the repair I received the same AE error message. The thing is that error message according to LG is a water leak. I called a repairman who confirm I have a leak coming from the drain pump. It would cost about $600 to fix. In his word I better off buying a new dishwasher. I paid good money for that dishwasher (about $700) and it only last 3 yrs. I am not sure I will ever buy an LG appliance again. My husband and I bought this dishwasher last May 2015 NEW with the fridge and stove. This dishwasher is probably the worst dishwasher ever!! Its the model with the 3rd rack, sounds convenient right? Wrong!!! It sucks, yes I can put knives and silverware on the top row but it leaves very little space for your glasses. So any glass taller than 6 inches does not fit!! Which means they have to take up space on the bottom rack or Im forced to hand wash! Now the bottom row... The lines that are suppose to hold the dishes do not stay standing up. The silverware basket is in three sections that is suppose to lock to together, it falls apart if you just put a fork in it. The large bottom rolling basket is constantly coming off the tracks! It takes 2 1/2 hours to run a normal load and an hour to run a quick load. The quick load does do a good job and usually have to rewash items. I hate this dishwasher and the only place it belongs is in the trash dump! WARNING DO NOT BUY IT!!!

I got less than 2 months out of the dishwasher before the black stainless steel started to peel!!! LG should not be allowed to operate! This business is horrible!

Model LFX25975SW LG refrigerator - My complaint regarding the subject LG refrigerator is the same as the one posted by Darelyn of Peoria, AZ on Sept. 20, 2012. The housing around the ice and water dispenser turned yellow in about 2 years. This is unacceptable on a white refrigerator in an all-white kitchen. After getting rejected by the LG customer service, I filed a complaint with the BBB (case #**) and after their mediation, it was rejected by LG again for the same reasons that Darelyn received, That they do not warranty cosmetic damage. I wonder if they ran that by their marketing team as this is what sells these models. I am trying to start a class action suit against LG on this obvious defect in material used. Anyone wants to join?

I bought this LG gas range last November at Home Depot. (And they knew nothing at all about the flaws in the range.) To begin, there was a problem with the gas not turning on quickly enough, causing some gas to leak out, and a repairman came and fixed it. It required a part that had to be ordered, and I couldn’t use the range for a few days. But there are two other big problems I have had. First, the easy clean feature. It doesn’t work. At all. And it is a pain to use anyway—filling the indented compartment in the bottom of the oven! Doesn’t do anything, and then you have to extract the water by hand from the oven floor. They say not to use oven cleaners, etc. as it can ruin the oven walls. Which leaves no real choices. A man who came to put in a new dishwasher told me I could use something like Soft Scrub. I haven’t tried it yet. I am 73 years old, and I am too old to have to get on my hands and knees and clean an oven.Second problem: when the oven is on, air blows out from the oven, but instead of coming out the front, it comes out the back. The air flow is directed toward the burners and usually blows them out. If you don’t stay right with it, you have a major gas leak problem. I have had to put up barriers in front of the air flow vents to keep this from happening. I would never walk away from the stove if I use the oven and cook on the burners at the same time. This might be the worst appliance I have ever purchased. I would never ever buy another lg appliance. The leaking gas is a major safety concern. The company had to know the easy clean feature doesn’t work. And when I told the repairman this, he said maybe I should have done better research before I purchased it. Wonderful customer service. I would like to give no stars...

In 2010 I purchased my first LG refrigerator from best buy. I had several problems with it freezing food on the refrigerator side. They came out to repair it several times. In 2014 after about 3-4x of having to come repair the refrigerator they replaced it because it was under an extended warranty plan. I now have problems with the new replacement refrigerator which its warranty expired in June. I had a service person come to check the refrigerator out and they said the compressor is bad and it will cost $1100.00 to get it repaired. Totally not what I suspected. I paid him for the service call and diagnostic testing but I now have no refrigerator. This has been a bad experience with LG refrigerators for me.

Earlier this year we purchased a new LG Washer (WM4270HWA) and Dryer (DLEX4270W) through The Home Depot. The washer was delivered and installed in our home on Feb 21st, 2015. The dryer arrived on March 2nd. Both machines operated beautifully for about 8 months. They are MUCH quieter than our previous 20+ year old machines, have a nice feature set, and save water. However, in early October, the washing machine developed a leak and dumped a LOT of water. Fortunately, we had taken the precaution of placing the washer in an overflow pan, so there was no apparent damage to our home. I initially contacted LG warranty support to have the washing machine fixed on October 6th, 2015. On the good side, I found their representatives to be quick to answer my phone calls and they were always courteous. On the bad side, they are completely ineffective and incompetent. Ultimately, I fixed it myself.6 October 2015, 9:45 AM EST, I called LG Warranty support to report the issue. I spoke with the representative and provided the washing machine serial number. The representative verified that the washer was under warranty and stated that I would receive a call in 2-3 days from the service scheduling team to schedule a service appointment. I requested and received an incident reference number. 8 October 2015, 11:10 AM EST, I contacted LG to check status on the service appointment. The representative indicated that scheduling team may take 3-5 business days to schedule an appointment.13 October 2015, 11:30 AM EST, I contacted LG to determine why I had not yet been contacted to schedule an appointment. I was informed that the Service Scheduling Team had started the search for a local service provider on the 8th and that the search should be resolved on the 15th. I was told that if they could not schedule an appointment, they would arrange to replace the machine. The representative stated that the time to resolve the service request was unknown. The representative also indicated that the request had been escalated to the top-tier scheduling department, but that it was not possible to check status or contact anyone in that department directly.15 October 2015, 5:55 PM EST, I received a phone call from an LG service representative. They had made arrangements to have the washer serviced and the service representative Jeff (last name & phone number omitted) would contact me shortly with appointment details. I called Jeff directly to confirm and received a message that his voicemail was full. I left a callback number. 16 October 2015, 8:10 AM EST Called Jeff again. The voicemail was still full. Left my callback number again. 1:40 PM EST Called Jeff again and left a voicemail. Jeff eventually returned the call and we scheduled a service call on 19 October.19 October 2015, Jeff arrived at the house and spent about an hour on the phone with LG. He did not disassemble the washing machine nor inspect it in any significant way. He did order a replacement pump. I was informed that the part should arrive later that week. 27 October 9:25 AM EST, I called and left a message for Jeff to find out status and set up a time for the repair. I requested that he call me back as soon as possible with this information. 2 November 2015, 8:00 AM EST, I called and left a message with Jeff to get status and schedule the repair. I requested a call back that day with status.6 November 2015, 7:20 PM EST, I called LG Customer Service to find out what was going on. The service representative was aware that a technician had been assigned and parts ordered. I explained that the technician had visited, ordered a part, and had been unresponsive for 3 weeks. She attempted to contact the technician while I was on hold and could not (no surprise, it was after business hours on a Friday). The service representative indicated she would contact the technician on Monday and call me with status. 7 November 2015, 1:00 PM EST - After a month with NO effective action and washing laundry at the neighbors house, I removed the top of the machine, ran a 15-minute cycle, and identified the source of the leak as a disconnected vent hose in the left rear corner of the washer. I Googled for service diagrams and found it was the hose at the top of part F430 in the diagram. 2:20 PM EST I called LG, explained the situation with the technician and my lack of satisfaction. I requested a service manual be sent immediately. The representative took my email address and claimed the service manual had been sent.3:00 PM EST I contacted LG via live chat and inquire whether the service manual had been sent. The representative on the chat stated he could not access the manual.3:25 PM EST, I called LG again. The representative read my email address back and it had been recorded incorrectly (though we had verified it on the phone the first time!). I verified the correct email address again and she resent the manual. 3:45 PM EST, I did a web search on LG drain vent hose routing and found a diagram showing the correct connection to a fitting on top of the washer drum. I reconnected the hose and since then the washer has been fine. The LG representative that I spoke with on 6 November did eventually call back and offered to start the scheduling process all over again with another service technician. I told her that their service was abominable and that I had repaired the issue myself. We were done. The service manual never arrived.I live in a major metropolitan area with over 1 million people within the county boundary. I am amazed that LG couldnt find a competent technician in the area that could provide prompt service. The inability to email a simple service manual after 3 attempts is equally ridiculous. I will say that most parts appear for the washer appear to be reasonably priced. In the course of my internet research, I found that most design flaws noted in earlier versions of the LG washer had been corrected in my washer. The fact that the hose popped off the fitting may have been a random occurrence. The machine has performed well since. Some closing thoughts: (1) Dont ever install ANY washing machine without an overflow pan that has been connected into your houses drain system, and (2) If you are considering the purchase of an LG appliance or other product, based on my experience, I wouldnt expect LG to honor their product warranties.

We bought a side by side with freezer on bottom and chilled water and ice dispenser on door. It cost $2,500 new. Today, less than 3 years old, it has stopped cooling, freezing and making ice cubes! In my opinion, this is not good reliability. I do not believe that I would purchase LG again. Also, I have an extended 5 year service contract with them. So I called them for service repair on Friday, and they said they could be at my house in 4 days (on Tuesday). This also made me negative about LG, they should have service much more quickly than this!!! My opinion, consider other options before buying LG. Jack

I purchased a new LG Range and LG Microwave in April 2019 -installed in May 2019. In October of 2019 the Magnetron and motor fan failed and needed replaced. This was serviced and covered by LG. Now come November of 2020. The motor fan and magnetron is failing again... Was on phone with LG for over an hour explaining that this should not happen in a microwave AGAIN in the short amount of time that Ive had it. LG will not do ANYTHING since its out of my warranty period. After a very lengthy conversation with a manager- they agreed to cover the Magnetron part only (then to find out by a service company that these are covered for 8 years regardless). No help on service fee or the fan part being paid for either. The quote to get this fixed is higher than the cost of a new microwave. Very disappointed. My very cheap microwave before I bought this one lasted 10 years. What gives LG? Dont make customers beg and plead for help on a failing product. There is NO way this microwave should fail this quickly. I believe I received a defective product from the beginning. So frustrating.

I purchased an LG refrigerator from Home Depot. Most expensive refrigerator they had on the floor was $2800. I have had nothing but trouble with it. It has leaked 4-5 times ruining my floor and now it is not cooling or freezing. No one here in Cheyenne will even work on LGs. The repair business report has difficulty obtaining parts as they have had customers waiting for over a month to get parts so they will not service them. I am left with either cutting my losses or having someone come from over 60 miles away try to come and service. Be aware. Do not purchase LG because of their poor availability of service and parts and poor quality.

Now shavings of metal has shown up in the ice. We have spent so much money on it. We have just turned the icemaker off and gone to using ice trays. It came in but he ordered the wrong one. Now another two weeks and it is to be installed tomorrow. The service dept at Freds said they will sell me another one at their cost. BFD just cant get anyone to show some responsibility. LG service is a joke and the people I spoke to were rude and told me too bad there is nothing I can do. Anyone want to start a lawsuit?

We have not been at all happy with the services which LG is giving us. We have bought an LG Side by Side refrigerator on 22.10.2011. Just a month after, the power capacitor has gone faulty and now there is nobody that can provide service to get this changed. I am sorry, if you cant serve the customer a month after, how can we expect in getting your services a year or after years? The scenario is this that I lodged a complaint against my fridge not working on Friday at10:40 am and your representative confirmed that the complaint will be attended in 24hrs as per their script. Then on Saturday, I called them around 12:30 pm mentioning that I didnt receive any call nor your service. So your representative confirmed that they are sending our request on urgent basis to the service center and we should hear from them in the next 2-3 hrs to which we received a call from your service guy and he came to attend the call. However, he confirmed that the capacitor is not working and this needs to be replaced. We mentioned when we can get this done, to which he confirmed in a days time since they are open on Sunday so he will try to get this fixed. We called him on Sunday. He mentioned this cannot be done today as he hasnt received the part from the company. We were not at all happy from the service and we asked as what is all this about and when it can be done and stuff to which he mentioned to talk to his senior and provided his number. We stated that the Seniors dont answer their phones at all. So we were correct on that, they never handled the complaint. Now when I phoned the service man as to check for the status, he mentioned please speak to the Manager as I am on leave today and I will not be able to help. What is the service? How do you expect your customer to sit quiet in this situation? We have been calling every time and not getting any service. I am sending this complaint in the editorial section of the newspaper against LG and I will ensure that we get the solution from the consumer court. I am from a service industry background and I am sorry to say this is not the work ethics you are following.

My house is air conditioned with an automatic dehumidifier. Not that it should matter but I cannot think of any reason this should happen except the parts were made from an inferior plastic. Im so glad to have found this. Thought I was crazy. Our LG frontload washer smells terrible and weve had service calls out 3 times for what looks like pen marks all over our white clothes. Its not a pen. The first time they said it was a drum shooting oil onto our clothes; nice. They replaced the drum. The second time, service didnt show up. The third time they said it was because the washers accumulate black slime that is accumulating throughout the internal parts of the washer and will randomly shoot out the black ink appearing lines. Do not ever purchase an LG. They make a good TV, but not washers or kitchen appliances. They also do not have service centers anywhere in our area (maybe our country?).

Purchased a top of the line LG Linear something or other. Not going to lie. It’s beautiful. We get lots of compliments on it but just over 3 years old and it stopped making ice. Now it’s not freezing and the fridge part is not cooling enough. Milk keeps going bad. Customer service is full of it. They know what’s wrong with their product and they keep asking you to check for leaks and to reset it. They gave me 3 contacts in my area to have it checked. First contact “we don’t work on refrigerators.” I think they mean just LG refrigerators. Second one never called me back despite multiple messages left and the 3rd one, number disconnected.I finally called someone else with years of experience and he said, Check out LG online and you’ll see what that what I’m telling you is common with LG. Type of compressor is great. Saves you about 100 dollars a year on electricity if you don’t mind paying 1000 dollars to “maybe” fix it. Yes he said, Maybe LG will give you a new compressor but labor will run you about 1000.00 and I will not warranty my work for more than 3 months because it’s common for them to break down again within a year. I’m just going to buy a new one but not an LG. He highly recommended Frigidaire. Cheaper. No frills. Not very fancy but they last a long time.

We have a LG French Door Model LFCS30726S, 2 1/2 years old. Stopped cooling. Called our usual service technician. They came out. Said the compressor was not working. Since the compressor is on a 10 year warranty called LG. The first person I talked to was so very helpful. He managed to set an appointment for 2 days, between 12-5. On that day we were at home entire day waiting. At 4:45 pm I call LG again. The man checks on status. Says the service technician was at his 2nd to last call for the day and would still be there. NO SHOW. Comfort Care Appliance did not call. Just did not come. I call LG again the next morning. They said that the call was rejected and I would have to wait 3-5 business days for another service company to accept the warranty call. My call was then escalated to another level, now the next person at this escalated level was NOT helpful. I got angry at this point. And was hung up on.I called back and was then told that Comfort Care had rejected my service call at 11pm the previous evening, that was 6 hours after they were suppose to be there, and there was nothing I could do but wait for 3-5 days for another warranty company to take my call. We paid over $2,000 for this refrigerator and it was only good for 2 1.2 years???? I must say that the service people who first answer the phones did all they could to take care of me, the person I was escalated to was NOT. I could live without a washer, dryer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, but when your refrigerator goes, you are reduced to coolers and neighbors generosity. LG sold as Kenmore Elite Model 29002 - I bought a top-load washing machine in April 2012 and loved this machine. Then, I receive this “must do recall” on the washing machine, and I took care of this service on February 28th. Well, that was the biggest mistake of my life. I hate this washing machine. It takes hours to wash a load of wash. It continually gets unbalanced while trying to spin and then starts to add water and try again. This becomes continual and you never know when your wash is going to be done. The express wash of 35 minutes ended up to be 75 minutes yesterday. Tomorrow it could be another time, and the day after that, another time. If you are not having issues with your machine, skip the recall service. I am wasting my time, my clothes are getting worn out from continual washes at one time, and my electricity bill is going up. Plus, I have an expensive washing machine that is probably soon going to the dump because I know they are not going to give me my money back.

The entire under part of the area above the bin but connected to the place where you put detergent or bleach is completely rusted out and the metal is so bad. I can stick my finger through it. They sent me an email... that the rust in your washing machine bleach dispenser is a result of the detergent or other additives being spilled that have not been wiped clean. Chlorine bleach is corrosive and will erode the finish if not cleaned immediately. If any spills should happen make sure to wipe it up immediately and the area cleaned with warm water and a soft cloth. Touch-up paint maybe use to cover the area, if not service may be necessary. How could LG design a washing machine that uses bleach and detergent knowing full well that it might get on areas besides the stainless bin and get under this area and all around the entire top of the machine and rust out. That is what happened.

This morning, my wife started a load of clothes in my 2002 LG Trom front load dryer. I was in the backyard with the dogs. I noticed an electrical burning smell. I ran in the house to see if there was a fire! The dryer was smoking! I turned off the gas and unplugged it. I repair all types of equipment for a living. Upon disassembly, I found that the wires going to the safety temperature switch, on the top of the burner tube, had shorted out where they were rubbing on the gas line.

Compressor and board both went out after 20 months, has the linear compressor, looks like a beautiful fridge but what a pile of garbage spent 3000. On it, weve had the ice maker replaced 3 times, luckily I bought the extended warranty or Id be out a lot of money. I wont be buying LG in the future ever again. Oh and customer service at Lowes was a joke. Told them Id never buy anything from them in the future, took over three weeks of runaround to get fixed, didnt care we dont have a fridge. Were a family of five. I dont recommend buying anything LG.

Our LG microwave is a low performer compared to our last. It took much longer to heat foods through. The buzzer letting us know it was done was very quiet, but the microwave itself was very loud and annoying (rumbling, rattling and humming). The biggest set back is the touch panel, it is impossible to see the settings since there is no backlight. Unit seems to get very hot as well.

I had the same problem with one LG knob on my $2,000 stove. One quick phone call to LG and they immediately shipped me a complete set of new knobs that arrived in under 10 days. Way to go LG for taking care of your customer and recognizing the issue with the plastic stem on the knobs.

My folks had the same refrigerator for 30 years. Ive had this LG only a handful of years and now its junk. Compressor turns on then shuts off after 30 seconds. Paid a guy $60 to tell me its going to cost $1100 to replace the compressor. Forget it. I looked on Craigslist and picked up a free GE fridge from 1991.

No one works on them hardly, read below... Not good experience... On 1/16/2018 my refrigerator stopped cooling & freezing. (Linear Compressor Unit), Model LFXS24623S, purchased for (note, compressor under 10 year warranty). My problems started in in mid-January 2018. I made the call to LG. There is a very good chance that the refrigerator has a compressor issue based on the symptoms per tech support. Tech support provided me with (4) certified LG service companies to call to schedule a service visit. Out of the four companies none of them would take the job. One was out of range, two did not work on the linear compressors and the other was not working with LG at this time.Summary of the long story: Calls to LG tech support were in excess of 15 and multiple to the service companies. Issues: every call to tech support I had to repeat the entire explanation of what happened, seems that the support group does not read all of the CNN# notes. Frustrating time after time. I had to tell the LG support group who could not work on my unit, who already came, who was out of range, etc… Support does not have direct contact with the LG certified companies to get direct feedback to the consumer (me). Support works with your service contract company to place a work order, consumer is not involved. Caused confusion many times. Many delays with parts coming from LG for first service call, caused many delays. Received (3) case numbers **. Should only have one to have all of the notes/history under one case number? Received (2) RNN numbers **. Received (1) APN number **. 3/15/2018 a certified LG service company (Broadway Sales) final took the job from 1 ½ hours away. After review the LC internal compressor unit has a hole that in “not” repairable. Broadway reported back to LG. Another call to LG for a follow up, LG informed me due to the severity they had to have a second certified company verify the issue. Keep in (8) weeks have passed. One – LG barely found a company to service the unit, Second- (8) weeks has passed. Still not fixed working on (12) weeks... 4/4/2018.
