I bought a front load LG Washer almost 8 years ago. Amazing how much you can put in it! Never had any trouble with it. Amazing how much water it saves! Just proves that LG is exceptional. All my appliances will be LG-if I find them on sale. Theyre just a bit pricy for my budget. But worth it!

My wife had put on a fairly average load of laundry into our LG Washer (approx 3.5 years old) on Saturday, November 22, 2014. My wife and I had to drop off our special-needs son at his group home, and we had to run to the grocery store. My other son had errands, so he too had left the house. Upon returning from his errands (approx. one hour after we had left), my son tried to enter the laundry room via the garage entrance. He was unable to get past the door opening, as the washing machine was found in the middle of the walkway of the laundry room, water covered the floor, and holes were present in two adjacent walls. After entering the house through the front door, my son only made it to the middle of the hallway before he noticed the carpet was soaking wet. He proceeded to find the hall bathroom as well as entryway and closets of the bedrooms to be soaked with water with some rooms worse than others. The washing machine at roughly 90 degrees off from where it should be. The sides and back of the washer were pushed out and plastic washing machine parts were strewn across the laundry room floor and hallway (up to almost 12 ft. away at entrance to master bedroom). Whatever occurred, it had to have been a violent shaking with an explosion of parts as it produced holes in walls, denting of the drier, and water to flood multiple rooms. My concern is this could have occurred while we were present in the home and near the laundry room. This is particularly concerning as, prior to leaving, my special-needs son had had spent the night with us, and he was previously in the bedrooms and hallway adjacent the laundry room while the machine was running. This should be a concern for anyone who owns an LG washer or any other washing machine that is capable of such destruction. At this point, the damage to the house and appliances has been approximated to at least $6,000. It is possible the number will increase, should the carpet have to be replaced in multiple rooms. The washing machine has been without any known mechanical issues, since we purchased it from Sears (approx 3.5 years ago). This is the first time we have had any incident with the machine, let alone something of such significance.

Constantly is out of balance when it really isnt. Ive stood there watching it for half an hour. Fills up with water and drains trying to balance several times in a wash. Wastes water trying to balance. Have reloaded clothes to help but to no avail. 60-minute wash takes 4 hours, only if you constantly reset it. My washer is in garage, therefore cant always hear buzzer. Instead of getting 3 loads per day washed, maybe only 1.

Id owned my firs LG refrigerator since August and it was horrible. It was delivered broken and in the beginning, LG wanted to send technicians out to repair the refrigerator instead of just sending me a replacement. Because I had to keep escalating the situation, the replacement was determined. It took two months for the replacement to arrive. In that aspect, I was not pleased at all. I had to go back the retailer and they had to give me a loaner refrigerator. In terms of the product, I’m a big fan. I am pleased with the replacement as so far, its been working fine and hasn’t given me any problems. I like the overall layout of the refrigerator, but I find the icemaker and the water dispenser very noisy. As soon as I put a cup to it and I wanna get some ice cubes, it starts to crank up the motor and it’s loud.

I thought I was getting a good deal on a 3 year old machine (WT5001CW)... But now realize why it was so cheap. It wont complete any load w/o you having to manually balance the load - possibly multiple times. If you dont babysit the machine it will try??! Every single load ends with uE. Small load, big load, socks only, towels only, jeans only - none will spin!! The only thing this does well is knot tying - all your kids jeans/Stretchy pant will end up in one giant knot! Lg seriously needs to release a fix or recall all of these machines as they dont do the only job they have. Im going to burn the ** out of this machine and post it to youtube!! Ill get a million hits. These things are so broken and hated!!! My wife used to like LG, we have LG phone, TV, stereo headphones - but Im not letting her buy another friggin thing that has LG on it since they refuse to acknowledge the absolute failure of their top load washers!!!

We purchased an LG dishwasher last year. Since it has been installed, the performance of this product has been terrible. The washing and drying cycle is terrible. I contacted LG, and they sent a repair service 3 times and it is not working better. Now that the warranty is not good anymore, they dont even want to consider a replacement. But it never worked well. It is the worst purchase I ever did and the worst experience ever. I still have many error codes and it is not even drying anymore. They replaced the whole motor after only 3 months. My next step is sending them a legal letter and filing a complaint about their products.

RUST at the metal lips where the detergents are poured. I noticed some rust under the plastic cover where the detergent is poured and decided to take out the four screws and check where the plastic meets the metal. IT WAS ALL RUSTED. The instruction manual does not require that the four screws be taken out for cleaning. The manual requires cleaning of the plastic area so that the dispensers work well, which we did. I reported this to LG with the pictures that I am sharing. They asked me if I use corrosive materials like bleach. Of course we do and the dispenser has a location where to apply the bleach. This unit is not heavily used (3 people), well cleaned and maintained (I am an engineer). It is no longer under warranty and LG said that it is cosmetic. I disagree because pieces of the rust are getting into our laundry as the washer vibrates. Check out the photos and decide.

We purchased a LFXS30726S French Door Refrigerator Freezer approximately 18 months ago. On October 23, 2017 the refrigerator seemed to be getting warm. Changes to the temperature setting did not improve the issue. We called the LG customer service number on October 24 and walked through a diagnostic process over the phone. LG said a repair would be fully covered under warranty. No cost to the customer. It was determined there was an issue with the sealed system (compressor/evaporator) and would need a certified technician to come out to our home. Received a case reference number: ** and then the mess began. I live in the metro NYC area in CT and no technicians on their approved list wanted to do this repair. LG was unable to get a technician setup that day. Escalated the issue to Joan in their scheduling team (executive services). After five days they found a technician. When this company called, they said LG would only pay $100 and we would owe the balance which could be $800+. We called LG and they indicated it’s a covered repair with an approval number: **. Then, the phone tag began with the service company saying that approval maximizes out at a lesser expense and LG saying its approved. I three way called them both and LG said its approved and service company said not for the right amount. Apparently the fixed fee reimbursement is too low for many companies. Now on my third company --- Akosemi. Lets see what happens. Its November 7 and still not a repaired refrigerator/freezer. Lost all my food. LG makes a poor product with awful service. The whole experience is terrible. Never buy another LG as long as I live.

After Redoing our house after Hurricane Sandy, I thought I would buy this Top of the line washer and dryer. The dryer is great, no complaints, however, the washing machine (Top-Load Direct Drive) does nothing but force dirty water through the clothes. Even with bleach, I could not get socks or floor washing pads at least clean looking. I despise this washing machine and will not buy another LG product especially from Home Depot. When I called about possibly getting service, they referred me to an Electronics company... Enough said. The electronics company wants to charge $80 to come Look at it. There is mechanically nothing wrong with the machine, it just doesnt work well and honestly, hasnt worked well since day one. This pushing water through the clothes is not effective at all. I would prefer a machine with an agitator but, those are hard to find. This machine is not that old and is not used all that much so, I have read reviews of the same situation and it is very clear not to buy this machine. I had read such great reviews for this machine but, am so disappointed because it has lead to nothing but additional costs for me to take at least some washes to the local laundromat on a regular basis. That is how ridiculous this has become. A fairly new (Bought in 8/2013) washing machine and I have to go to the laundromat to get my clothes clean. Buyer Beware on this product.

I purchased an LG refrigerator in 2012 and it worked until the compressor died in 2019. The compressor was under warranty and LG agreed to provide a replacement at no cost, I just had to pay to install it. The service tech called LG and was instructed to install a universal compressor, which is not an exact replacement. He did but soon found that the compressor was incompatible with the electronics board on my fridge and would not work. LG want $240 for a board that will work with the substitute compressor. I called LG and they were inflexible. From my perspective, they installed a compressor that was not compatible with my fridge. Why should I have to pay $240 to replace a perfectly working electronics board to make their substitute part work? It cost less than $10 to manufacture an electronics board. Installing a substitute part that requires the purchase of a $240 board is an attempt to turn a loss (providing a compressor for free) into a profit (sale of an over-priced board).

I bought my fridge in 2017 and the compressor died in 2021. They came to repaired 4 days after because the technician was nice enough to move my appt earlier, they told me that they could gave me food compensation. I called them after the fridge was repaired and first the way that the customer service handle this cases are terrible, LG subcontract this phone calls to another country I would say INDIA and is very hard to understand them, then they start this process with text messages with questions and I just got one text, I never got the following question. I called them several times and the last time I called the customer service helped me, she never advised that she was going to send this claim manually. She told me that somebody would contact me to see if I was agree with the food compensation, next thing I know I received $100 check in the mail for a whole fridge food loss, I called them and I spoke with the supervisor Ann, she was very rude and reiterated times told me that my warranty expired and LG was nice enough to repair my fridge and they don’t do food losses that they sent me $100 dollar check because they were nice, she told me that there is nothing I can do because the check was issued. They never told me that if an agent do this manually automatically they issued $100 and don’t review my case just send $100. Be aware. Never submit your food loss claim manually. They will send you $100 check. They kept telling me that LG don’t send food losses claim. That if they sent me money is because they were nice and because I have my fridge bad for 5 days $100 was enough. I lost a full fridge and what it hurts me the most I lost 100 bags of breastmilk for my baby because of this. I can’t believe they got to decide how much they can give and they don’t live even in U.S. They told me that there is nothing I can do and LG won’t send more. This fridge is in a lawsuit that is why they do food compensation and also they extended the warranty. LG customer service is the worse. Case # **

Our less than a year old LG Refrigerator LG LFX25974ST we bought from Best Buy (along with an LG double oven and LG dishwasher...) was a beauty when we looked at it in the store. It fit well with our theme, loved the stainless steel, specs, etc. Less than a year now, we opened the freezer to find all of our frozen food warm/melted and fridge warm. Some food spoiled, some we saved by running to the local gas station for ice.Called LG Appliance support, they said there was nothing they could do but send a technician. This happened on a Friday morning that we discovered the problem. Earliest a technician could come out is on Monday. Ugh, but okay, (by the way, ice isnt cheap) well live until Monday out of coolers, though completely not ideal and we had to go out of town Saturday, so we hoped to God the food would stay cool over the weekend if we packed it good enough. It survived, mostly. A lot of things we just threw out because we couldnt tell how long it had been warm for and didnt want to get sick.So Monday arrives, and the local company they sent out does not have the capability to fix/replace the Linear Compressor that is shot. (Our 1 yr warranty expires in 30 days, but luckily the compressor has a 10 yr warranty, some relief.) Our fear now is what if something else goes wrong on the fridge or the other two appliances we spent over $4k on at Best Buy! Thats a lot of money! We would have been better off buying a $500 refrigerator with a classic design and compressor that would last 20 years without issues. They sure saw us coming. So now, LG Appliances calls me back to say what the local tech already said-- they couldnt fix it so they need to find someone else that may or may not be able to do the work. The earliest is Thursday -- that will be 7 days without a refrigerator I paid an awful lot of money for and food wasted. They of course dont pay for any lost food, youre on your own there, but thats easily another $150-$200 worth.Though I bought the set from Best Buy - I dont blame them because its not their warranty, its LG Appliances -- who never offered an apology - not once - on any of the calls to them. I was cordial with them, thinking they would show a little more empathy for their customer -- they were not sincere or showed any signs they cared about their customer. I am so disappointed in this purchase it isnt even funny and I will never buy ANYthing LG again -- not appliances, not electronics, NADA! They should be ashamed of themselves for selling expensive JUNK.

Have finally narrowed down the clothes washing machine that would best suit
Have finally narrowed down the clothes washing machine that would best suit our family needs. Our choice was the LG 5680HVAS. Unfortunately, or actually luckily, my wife decided to dry run the washer by attempting to simulate retrieving clothes once washed. She discovered, at 5 3, she could not reach the bottom of the tub. We then went on to investigate the Maytag designs as well as the Samsung, and GE. We did not review any others. It appears that all of the HE designs have incorporated a physically taller design to facilitate the deeper drum. Bottom line, if you are 5 5 or physically shorter, dont buy one of these machines as you will be greatly inconvenienced every time you use it.

Bought this $2600.00 LG refrigerator 1 1/2 years ago and of course it breaks 6 months after warranty expiration. Theres only one servicer in our area. They came to diagnose the problem right away the week before July 4th and company is coming. They ordered the parts from LG but after no contact with them for days we finally called them and they inform us that the parts (Compressor and board) are on back order for 4 weeks (JULY 21st). The back order date is four weeks out!! And we lost over $50.00 in food. Thank god it wasnt more!!We had to buy a Samsung floor model (Cheaper) to get us by and not lose more food. Every time I call to get an update because no one calls us back, I get a foreign speaking person I can hardly understand and placed on hold for 10-50 Minutes!!! I have been told that there are at least 9 people in our area (Valdosta Ga) with this exact same issue with their LG refrigerators!! This is not acceptable! There are a few in a worse circumstance than us, such as an elder couple that just had open heart surgery and no refrigerator now! A single mother with 5 children to feed. Now the only service company in our area doesnt seem to know where the board is and LG says it was delivered! The service center DDD in Albany/Adel says they use a different vender Marcone and it is on back order with them not LG?! WTH!

I think LG refrigerator owners who are experiencing repeated compressor problems should file a Class Action Lawsuit against LG for a full original purchase price refund and subsequent repair and warranty plan costs incurred for inferior product design and manufacture. Our LG French Door Refrigerator Model LMXX30776S/01 is also experiencing compressor failures. Purchased in February, 2015, the original compressor was replaced in September, 2016. Now, August, 2017 that compressor is also failing. Temperatures continue dropping in the refrigerator, freezer, and mid drawer sections even though I continue lowering the temperature set points. The ice maker is also producing small cubes at a very slow pace, and they begin melting and forming refrigerator icebergs. My wife purchased the Warrantech Extended Warranty through hhgregg. Recently Wil, the LG repair tech from Fredericksburg, VA, was at my home to service the unit. He measured temperatures, low and high side line pressures, and voltage. He cleaned some dust from the back of the refrigerator and left. He said he could not stay and further monitor the unit because it went into the defrost cycle. He told me to call him after a day or two to let him know if I was still having problems. I called and left a message on his phone. I have not received a return phone call. The temperatures continue to drop. Refrigerator performance continues to deteriorate, and $3,000.00+ has been wasted on a extremely poor product.

Lg free-standing electric range - My stove is 3 years old. It has never worked well from the start. In the last 4 months, I have had the oven board replaced because it was shot. They recalled the motherboard and I had that replaced. Now once again, the oven doesnt heat up. Is there a lemon law for these horrible appliances? I was told by the appliance repair service that LG is a high end range. I had GE ranges and they lasted 10 years plus. This stove worked for less than 3 years. Original cost is $1,000, plus repairs of $200 divided by years equals $400 a year. Very expensive for a lousy quality appliance. LG and Best Buy should be investigated for selling lemons.

May 2018... My almost 2 year LG French door in black stainless steel stopped cooling. Find out because there was water all over the floor from the ice melting. Lost all my food from fridge and freezer. LG replaced the compressor which lasted 4 days and went out again so of course I lost more food. Had another technician come out and took apart the inside of the refrigerator and found there was a leak. He ordered the new part and LG contacted him and told him it wouldnt be in until the end of July. LG gave me option that they would pay for the remainder value of the refrigerator and deduct the years of use or I would have to keep waiting for the part. I opted to wait for the part because they were only offering me a couple hundred dollars for an almost $3,000 refrigerator. The technician knows that this is an ongoing problem that he has dealt with with many customers around MN. I finally have my refrigerator working as of July 14... Thats 2 months without. Now my worry is for how long??? Another issue is the black stainless steel finish is peeling off of the whole set (microwave, stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator). Tiny pieces are coming off in different areas. I dont know how they can get away with this???

I recently purchased a home wherein all of the appliances were, by receipt, no more than one year to 1 and 1/2 years. I felt that should bring to not have to worry about my appliances. Wrong! My LG refrigerator model LFX31925ST stainless steel 3 door refrigerator was bought by the previous owners in Nov 2016. With no extended warranty the protection in Nov 2017. I purchased the home a few months later and within just a few months both the ice maker and freezer fan stopped functioning. Of course, we are now a little time out of warranty. My wife opened the d/w last evening to load dishes; a loud bang sounded, and she almost dropped the door. I pulled the d/w out today and found that the door assembly consists of a heavy-duty spring attached to a piece of Venetian blind cord which rides on a small plastic pulley. The cord had snapped (see photo). The next hour was spent arguing with a customer service representative and a supervisor because I refused to pay for a repairman to tell me what part I needed and charge me for the installation. I was finally given a phone number of a parts company from which I could order the cord portion of the assembly. I own an LG washer, model wm2050cw, and it is a piece of junk. I bought it for $598.00 from Home Depot on 3-15-10. After 8 months, it started to leak. Its not just a small leak, it filled the whole laundry room floor not once but 3 times. The repairman LG sent blamed it on me. He said I was using too much detergent and told me to only use 1 tsp. I did and the thing still leaked and my clothes were not clean. The repairman eventually replaced a mushroom shaped gasket that he admitted was a design flaw and that LG had no intention of fixing. Now, the machine is 18 months old. And everything comes out smelling awful, especially towels and washcloths. I have done everything LG says to do - leaving the door open, pulling out the detergent tray, running the clean cycle, using less detergent, etc. but nothing helps. I now have to buy another washer because I cant stand it any longer. My previous washer was a plain GE front load and it never gave me one problem. I sold it because it was old. I wish I had it back. LG needs to be run out of town!

Bought this with a stove and refrigerator. My biggest mistake was not returning it immediately. The third rack was a pain in the neck because you could not fit glasses in the middle rack, and when you try to adjust the rack it collapses and holds nothing in place. The collapsing racks are poorly designed - have proven to be a nightmare. They will not lock in and they keep collapsing when you load dishes and cups into the washer. The very top rack which was to hold the thin knives, and serving utensils will not stay connected to the side attachments and things you load here disconnect and fall into the main compartment to be fished out of the lowest rack. They have proven to be a great disappointment. Sometimes you have to fight the soap dispenser to get it to close. The whole design is an abomination and if I hadnt just purchased it a year ago I would throw it out. What were your thinking LG in the design of this monstrosity?

This review of LG washers is more a review of LG customer service and a war
This review of LG washers is more a review of LG customer service and a warning to prospective customers. I have owned my LG washer for about three years now. It has True Balance, a feature that consumes water in an attempt to balance the load. The washer is absolutely level. However it rarely completes a load because True Balance is unable to get the load balanced enough to get through the spin cycle. So I have to turn the water off. Balance it by hand. Then maybe it will get through the cycle. Often the items are too soaked to put in the 30-year old Kenmore dryer. So I have to hang them.My water bill has increased 25% since getting the washer. Have complained to LG. Initially they told me to level the washer. Now they just ignore me. Apparently because I (a person who has tested at a mechanical level in the upper 2% of the population) am unable to level a washer. I was however able to rebuild the Kenmore Dryer twice to keep that running. Thats not a recommendation of Kenmore because Kenmore isnt Kenmore anymore.

My refrigerator went out 7 weeks ago. I called LG. They gave me a number to call to do the repairs. The compressor was out and LG covered it but we had to pay $500 in labor. LG sent the wrong compressor not realizing till the wrong one was installed. Called them. They sent a second wrong compressor. Call them. Was told it was dcd and is unfixable. I said my fridge is only 6 years old. They said I had to have my bill of sale. I can not find it. They told me they would figure out some other way to help and would call me in 3-5 business days. They did not call me so I called them. It was like starting all over again telling me to call the same people to come and look at it to service. After explaining several times he was short with me and rude and told me they will not help me without the receipt. What do they think? I walked out of Lowes carrying a refrigerator and stole it. I will never buy a LG product again.

We bought our LG washing machine in May of 2014. It has never worked right from the beginning. I would have to watch it closely to restart it when it would go into the IE mode. I would have to press the start button twice to get it to resume washing. I had a tech come out to my house today to check it and he said the computer board needed replaced at the amount of $350.00. I told him I would rather buy a new machine instead of fixing it because it was the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned. He also said he has fixed many with the same or similar problem. Ill never buy another one.

We bought our refrigerator (MODEL LFX3194SST) March of 2013. From HH Gregg in Kennesaw Ga. Paid $3000 for it and bought an extended warranty simply because it was an expensive item and had a lot of computers in it. It quit working within the first year and LG sent someone out to repair it. It was the compartment in the freezer that contains the fan that blows cold air into the upper refrigerator section. The same thing happened again in March of 2015. It was under the extended warranty then. In the Atlanta area it is Tanstel who handles warranty for HH Gregg. I would rate Tanstel a minus 3 out of a scale of 1-10. That bad and that unprofessional. I expressed this to HH Gregg retail store and also to corporate office. The store seemed concerned even though they could do nothing to help. Corporate office was a joke and we ended up insulting each other, so I think Im finished buying from HH Gregg. Anyway here it is July of 2015 and my refrigerator is broke again. Same thing for 3rd time. Fan in freezer is frozen that blows air into the refrigerator. So no refrigerator and Tanstel doesnt seem to care if it gets fixed in a timely manner. So Im begging you, please dont buy anything with LG name on it. Read all the other reviews on the internet. They look good, but rust, dont work and you will be sorry. Youve been warned. And ask who made the appliance if you buy it from Sears. It might have a Kenmore name on it but ask who made it.

I have a front-load washer that has made me and my family very sick. Before I bought the front-load washer, I called LG customer service to get details on how to not have smell/mold problems in my machine. I was very diligent in cleaning it. I cleaned around the rubber area in the door, I drained the old water, cleaned the filter, cleaned inside the soap area and the took the soap dispenser out and cleaned that too, as well as running the tub clean cycle - using afresh, running it with bleach, running it with vinegar, leaving the door open, using HE soap, etc. I called LG to see what they could do because the smell was in my clean clothes. An LG tech came out to look at the machine regarding the smell and found that I did everything humanly possible to keep it clean. He called LG and they told him to take the tub to a car wash and spray it down (ridiculous). The tech went further, because he knew this would do nothing, and got approval to replace some parts (the back part of the tub had been discontinued???). In cleaning the machine, I watched as black mold and bacteria came out of the hoses and it was on the back of the tub. I took this information to the corporate level and I was told immediately that it was maintenance. I was shocked as to how Tish could tell me that it was my fault immediately without talking to the tech. It was only after I told her that the tech said that it was going to come back again, that she called him. After being left on hold for 15 mins., she got back on the phone and said that she spoke to the tech, his manager, and her manager, and that they were going to review my case.Well 1 week later I called back; Tish told me that they werent going to do anything. She said after talking to their legal department they decided that it was a maintenance issue. They said I misused the washing machine...HUH?? I have had allergic conjunctivitis so bad that my eye doctor and my specialist have told me to go 2 hrs. away to UVA because after 2-3 years of misery and steroid eye drops, dermatologist testing, allergy testing and numerous visits to doctors, they dont know what is wrong with me. Funny how now that the tub in my washer has been replaced and many parts steam cleaned, I dont have the zombie look anymore. It is still in the clothes and the sheets that we sleep in, but it has improved. Bottom line, LG corporate is programmed to blame the consumer, even if they have a defective product. They dont stand behind their name at all. BUY A SAMSUNG!!!

Installed unit from 7/15/2016. Morning 12/24/2019 wife noted dripping water into unit from front upper ice maker. Upper 56/lower 54 degrees. Merry Christmas, family coming, 12lb ham for Christmas & 10lb brisket for Christmas Eve. Immediately connected with LG phone & Clark the virtual voice response system. After 2 quick checks on virtual phone; 1) Yes unit is level and doors closed, 2) No change in fridge 37 degree setting recently; Clark at main office determined required service person & sent text message to file form online. Performed immediately & attached scanned copy 12/24/2019 of all prior receipt/invoicing paperwork for original install. Confirmed upon completion same time that original registration was in system by logging onto original registration account. NO RESPONSE after confirmation online that they had received my input or assigned anyone from local service. On 12/26/2019 evening located 2 available LG service centers in area from LG website, still no follow-up directly and no means noted to do such. Left voice message with one local service center 12/26. Next morning 12/27 called them again and resubmitted my invoice/installation paperwork for warranty confirmation to them via email & scheduled earliest available service visit for Tuesday 12/31/2019. Diagnosis 12/31 -> failed compressor. LG class-action lawsuit noted; still no follow-up from LG Main Office directly after original online submittal & confirmation of receipt. Local service anticipates once LG receives their paperwork end of day when he returns to office & LG re-certifies/validates original purchase/registration; then typically 7-10 business days for LG to send parts to them. Different person will install compressor once they reschedule fix/install. Warranty paperwork indicates Parts on LG, all labor on me. Wish there was a direct way to speak with a real person at LG main office to address issues & receive proper confirmation of path forward for wife/family planning next few weeks without fridge/freezer - Ouch! Is anybody there???

My husband and I purchased an LG Refrigerator, model number LFC23760ST. It was delivered on 6/17/2009. About 1 month later, we experienced getting shocked while reaching for food items while holding on to the door. We called LG, and they told us to call an authorized repair agency and gave us 2 names. We called both of those companies and neither would come to look at our appliance. They said that LG doesnt pay them. We called LG. They told my husband that it must be a problem with the house and not the refrigerator. My husband talked to them on many more occasions, and they said that they would send someone, but no one ever came. Now, the refrigerator completely went out. On October 12th 2011, we called LG. They gave us the same name (1 now) of an authorized repair agency. We called them and they do not come to our area. So, apparently, we never have had any warranty on this product. We did get Sears appliance repair to come out. It turns out to be a blown fuse that is soldered to a control panel. So, $369.00 later and another week without a refrigerator (to order the part), did the short causing us to be shocked cause the fuse to go out? When the repair gets made, will we still get shocked? Why is LG not more concerned about my well-being and that of husbands, and should there be death or serious injury before they will show care at all? Or maybe, the only time they will care is if they are sued and it hurts their pocket book? It has hurt mine both in repairs and loss of groceries. I dont know if anything can be done about this situation but I will never purchase another LG product, and I will tell as many people who will listen not to do so as well. Always remember, if you have a warranty repair on an LG product, no one will come!

I had an LG washer for about three and half years. The washer stopped spinning. I called LG for the 10-year warranty and was told that a technician would come out and check the washer. I was told it would be around $100 to diagnose the problem. I told LG that the motor was slipping, it should be covered under their 10-year warranty. They said I would still have to pay a technician to come out to tell me what I already knew. I argued with them many times about the problem. I even asked them to send someone out for a courtesy call; they would not . They finally gave me the number for Parts. They found the part for the motor rotor assembly. They opened the back of the washer, undid the mounting bolt, removed the rotor, and sure enough, the rotor assembly gear was made of cheap plastic. It was strange because the new one with a metal center was stripped out. This not only should be covered by the warranty, but also, a defective product should be covered by the company. The whole job of replacing this part was about 15 minutes and $75 in parts. I have photos of the part being removed with its stripped center and the new one being installed.

I wished that I could have read this blog before I purchased my LG refrigerator. I purchased my refrigerator 4 years ago and have had the fuse blown twice, ruining all the contents of my refrigerator. The servicemans fix was using a paperclip to bypass the fuse and order me a new board, which would cost $400 (if I didnt have warranty). He explained that on this refrigerator, the fuse was located on the main circuit board and when the little fuse blows, you have to replace the whole board, which costs around $400.00, and it takes awhile to obtain. Two years almost to that day, my refrigerator went out again due to the same issue. I had extended warranty through Home Depot. It took a week to get a serviceman to my home, to hear that the main fix is to by-pass the fuse with a paperclip or some wire. I was told that LG is aware of the poor design and hasnt made any changes to keep this problem from occurring again. I lost another refrigerator full of food and some expensive medications to hear the paper clip is the answer again! I told the service repair that I wanted a new board ordered and placed on the back of this expensive refrigerator to hear him say that it is a temporary fix. LG has an issue with their product, people have contacted them, and they seem not to care. I contacted via Live Chat to hear, I am sorry for your inconvenience and had enough of that pre-typed message and asked for a supervisor. The supervisor said that there was nothing they could do but would pass my complaint on to a claims review dept. and that they may or may not contact me to help resolve the issue. I asked for a phone number to contact LG and was told by John (the supervisor) that he did not have a number for me to talk with someone about my issue. This was all that I needed to hear from someone online. It seems that LG hides behind their Live Chat personnel and are not interested in addressing their issues. Home Depot should be embarrassed to carry their products. We teach our children to make their wrongs right. I guess LG missed out on that lesson!

I bought an LG french door fridge with bottom freezer. After just under a year, the ice machine went and I had to have it replaced. This was covered under warranty. However, my fridge is not quite 3 years old yet and the Linear Compressor went. LG told me the part is under warranty, but labor is not. So, I waited a week for the technician to come out and have a look at the fridge. He told me that the part is only about $150 (but covered under warranty), but the labor would cost me about $900 plus to fix and he couldnt even guarantee that it would work after. He told me to just buy a new fridge. So I spent $2300 not even 3 years ago and have to buy a new fridge. LG will not replace it.

I have had the LG HE machine for approximately 2 years. When I first got it, I called LG because the machine wasnt getting all of my clothes wet and certainly not clean. They smelled dirty when they came out. The repairman said that the machine was working properly and proceeded to completely fill the tub to prove it to me. I have since found that the only way to get a full tub of water to cover my large loads is to run the washer on Bulky Bedding with Heavy Soil Level. (Nice trick for the repairman to use). How much longer will LG (I dont know about other so called HE makers) be allowed to dupe the public into buying these machines? I bought it to save energy and water. I care about our overuse of the earths resources in fact I am one of those who still hangs clothes outside on my clothes line. As soon as we can save enough money, we will dump this machine.

We purchased a side-by-side model. When they delivered the refrigerator, it would not square up; it looked crooked. They said it worked fine and could not take it back. When we noticed it was bulging from the sides and was wider in the middle, that sort of looked like a problem. The drawers would not stay in the grooves. When we called, they said they would get back with us, which they never did. The refrigerator was bought in 2008. Then the water valve for the ice maker went bad. I called to buy a replacement part, but they no longer make that part. So Im out of luck with a $2100 refrigerator that has no ice maker. I cant even sell it for a second refrigerator for the garage sale as a result.I would tell everyone to beware of this company as they are not reliable. I will never purchase another LG product. My nightmare is about a $2000 refrigerator and about $10,000 worth of aggravation. I have a refrigerator that is eight months old and it started having a problem. We called LG and they sent somebody out here. It turns out, the compressor died and then, they fixed it. Roughly after a month, it started to buzz loud enough that if we were trying to watch TV or talking on the phone, we couldnt hear it too well. Plus, if we walked anywhere in the house, we would hear the refrigerator buzz. It was fairly loud. We lived with the buzzing for about two weeks and its a little bit like the Chinese water torture because it was very annoying but we didnt know what to do. When I called, the rep told me that if a repair guy comes to the house and he doesnt hear the buzzing, I was gonna get charged. But its not making the noise all the time. It goes to a certain cycle. The whole refrigerator resonated with the vibration of it and gets a vibration out of the fridge from the motor. So now, were in a quandary. I told the rep I didnt want to spend another $100 to have somebody come here and when hes here, its working okay and then we have to pay him. And then, it goes back to being bad again. I kept making phone calls and I figured they were in the Philippines and the reps dont speak English very well. It was very frustrating. I call and say, I have a blue horse, and they say, What color of the horse? They listen but they dont really hear me.After about 10 calls of getting nowhere with them, I got a woman over there who transferred me back to an escalation department in the United States. Also, I happened to record the sound on my phone that day and the rep heard it. She said it was the compressor. She authorized a repair person to come to the house without charging us. The repair guy came with the supervisor and they fixed that. Then, we thought we were fine but the day after the repairmen came, the refrigerator started not working well. The freezer was like 10 to 20 degrees. 24 hours is the period of time I have to give the fridge to adjust but everything is high now. Also, in the period of time they came back, I had it set for minus 6 and 33 but I get to read 0 and 40. Even at the coldest setting, it was barely acceptable within the normal range. The fluctuations were bad. I called the repair person on Friday and told them the fix wasnt working right. He told me it was just my thermometers. But I have two thermometers and theyre calibrated. I called them Monday morning and we still had the problem. I gave it the ice cream test and my ice cream melted. So I left the repairman a message but he never got back to me. Finally, I talked to Famous Tate and the regional manager instigated the callback to LG to come service the fridge. We then had an appointment on Thursday. But then, that time, it started getting cold again. I even called the repair person that Thursday and told him about it. But anyway, he came and took it apart. He said there was a leak in the evaporator. When he did the compressor, he put a dye in and when he came back, he could see that that was the problem. Hes coming back Tuesday to do the evaporator replacement. Meanwhile, the freezer is somewhat normal but the fridge part reads 40 degrees. I have it set very cold. The repairman is telling me the evaporator is bad but it doesnt jive. Also, that buzz is back but not as bad. If I push in on the doors, it stops. I can hear the motor going but that zzzz! that Im hearing is vibrating. Now, we have a refrigerator that doesnt work right and one that is making noise. Thats where were at and were very frustrated. Also, dealing with people overseas was horrific and not fun. They have something called Smart Diagnosis where I can go to the product, hold my phone up and it goes, Beep and they can get a readout of everything going on in my refrigerator, the temperature and how many times I opened the door. I wanted to get that printout from them so I could show the repair guy but I was told they were not allowed to do that. On one hand, Im unhappy about my experience with LG but they did come here to try to fix it so thats good. But this is an expensive refrigerator. If I could pay money, even if I took a hit on the refrigerator and get rid of it, I would. The product is pretty unreliable and the scary thing about this is because weve had the fluctuation in temperatures, we could eat the food and could get very sick.

I am so tired of cleaning out rotten food, dairy, meat and seafood. I never had such problem with GE or Kenmore. I will never buy LG anymore. So happy to have big fridge with bottom freezer, door in door latest style. I have not even call this time yet. Just finish clean up all inside this Fridge. I hope my warranty is still good or I will complain to Costco and LG to do something. I am tired of this again and again. I scheduled and paid for a service call to have my washer repaired 5 days in advance. Took the day off work so I could be there for the technician between 8a-12p. Technician calls on the afternoon prior and says he is going to come at 3p-5p because coming between 8a-12p would make all of the other customers wait due to the amount of time it will take to fix my washer. So this becomes my problem?! Then the technician gets angry with me because I called LG to see if they can reschedule and then tells me he is not coming out to fix my washer. I was nothing but professional with him, but there was no way he was coming into my house to fix my washer now. I spent nearly 4 hours of my day dealing with LG - waiting on hold, negotiating with them, trying to get a replacement technician, etc, until I finally decided that getting a refund for $260 repair bill would be better spent on a new washer and dryer (which didnt need to be replaced). Ill give you one guess as to which brand I DIDNT buy! I got a brand new Maytag washer and dryer for $1700, which means Ill never have to deal with LG again. I will never own another LG product. LG, if youre reading this, your customer service is the worst experience Ive ever had with a customer care team. I guess it says a lot that I would rather spend $1700 than give you $260 for a repair on a product that served me well for nearly 9 years. The dryer is still going strong, but Ill sell it to offset my new purchase. For me, it wasnt the product, but the people.

Bought the microwave from Walmart in 2019, used it without issue for about a year. Last night, I put something in to warm for 1 minute. (No metals etc of course.) And no sooner had the minute started I turned away, heard a huge grinding whoosh noise, turned back to see fire coming from the right side panel. It made the sound again, another burst of flame and I shut it off. I had the unit unplugged and set outside. I contacted LG with a pic of a clear burn mark on the right panel, explained what happened and they told me too bad, nothing they can do, try returning it to store. ALSO, they further accused me of exploding something in the microwave itself. This was the suggestion of a supervisor. I am appalled and surprised at how they handle this situation. I would seriously reconsider buying anything from them. This could have ended up so much worse than $150 down the drain.

They hire local subcontractors so I was charged a $75 fee just to take a peek. I was told the dishwasher wasn’t level and the drain line needed a bigger loop to drain properly. Thank you and on his way. The dishwasher performed for about 5 cycles and three weeks later before last evening rinse cycle that flooded my brand new kitchen and theres water all under the floors. Ill call again but I am not sure I am going to get anywhere. TERRIBLE product. Terrible service. A big fat F from me. Now I have to hire Servpro to come out and dry the floors... rip out my brand new flooring... I am out of pocket for way more than the dishwasher cost. They should have a class action suit against them. I am sure we all suffered more than just the cost of the dishwasher!

LG Washer WTS5070CW - 1) Extensive rust around bleach entry port. Per LG cosmetic very common complaint. Washer was 14 months old. 2) Residual bleach from previous loads ruins clothes in next load. 3) Not a true high capacity washer. Shakes violently. Drum had to be replaced after damage from violent shaking. I have read many reviews. Problems 1 & 3 are common. LG top loader washers are LEMONS. $649.00 wasted!

Do not buy a washing machine from LG. You will regret it. I have seen nothing, but issues. After 2 years of owning one we started to have issues. 2 years! UE and OE messages would pop up and stop the cycle. Wasting tons of water and costing us a lot of time. Took me twice as long to wash things. I was able to make it work for about 2 years. Only washing things at night after work. Now the machine cant make it 5 mins without stopping the cycle. The LG site bounces you around and makes it very hard to try and request a repair. Their call line does the same thing. Came to this site and saw that many people have experienced the same issues. Very frustrating. I will never buy another LG product again.

We purchased the LG Smart Drum thinking this was a great investment. It was the worst decision we made. It takes hours to wash one load. It constantly errors with UE no matter what load is in there. Even during the clean tub cycle where they recommend nothing in the washer. We have to constantly reload heavy wet clothes to rebalance eventually have to go directly to the spin cycle and shutting off the water just to get it over with. I am lucky to get two loads of laundry done in one whole damn day.I cant get anything else accomplished because I am babysitting a damn washer. It has caused so much frustration among our entire family because no one can get their laundry done and over in a reasonable amount of time. I am going out this weekend and buying a new washer. It wont be a LG thats for sure. From all the other reviews it appears the washer is a lemon and LG knows it but they dont care. Also, the app they say you can get is not available either. They should be sued for falsely claiming things this washer can do and it doesnt. True balance my butt... this machine is the worst. Buyers beware. You will be sorry.

Purchased this top load LG washer 4 years ago. Problems with the performance: Takes too long to do a small or medium load. Washer does not balance the load. Sheets and other large items cover the smaller clothes and they never get clean. Machine Quality. Washer LID BROKE APART for no reason. Will not close at all now which means I cannot use the machine. I contacted LG and complained gave me a case #. Never called me back. When I contacted them they said that the warranty was only for a year. Had to order a new LID for $200 which I have not received yet. Not sure if the expense for the LID was a good idea. The problem will most likely happen again. $700 for this machine was a WASTE of hard earned money. WILL NEVER BUY ANY LG PRODUCT AGAIN.

I bought my LG Top Load Washer 5101 in March. Within a few days, I noticed scratches on the lid. I have no kids, no cats, nothing rough that I put on the lid. I called LG and they acted surprised that such a thing could happen. I asked for a new lid but they refused. So I returned the machine to Best Buy and got another one (I really liked how it cleaned). Its now August and even though Ive been super careful and have only put a plastic laundry basket on the lid, the strip closest to the glass has scratches all over it (and no, I dont have any mice).I was going to buy the matching dryer but now hesitate. I would love to be in contact with the woman who said her problems were cosmetic, too.

We purchased an LG front loading washer a couple of years ago. During that time, we had 4 major repairs: 2 under warranty and 1 under extended warranty. Last week (4th problem), a repairman recommended to not waste our money to fix the bearings because the next problem will be the control electrical panel - $200 parts, $75.00 labor and need to wait 2 weeks for the parts. We decided to cut our losses and buy new. Never would we ever buy an LG product again! We ended up buying a Speed Queen washer - no electronic circuit board, just plain dial type like the way they used to make it. The average lifespan of an LG washer is 5 years.

Wednesday 25th of May my refrigerator stopped working. Both refrigerator and freezer part. I called the 800 number on owners manual that came with the refrigerator and was told I had to either pay over $200 or $399 for 1 year extra insurance because they could not find my registration card and could not tell me when I bought it. So I paid the $399 thinking someone would come out and look at the fridge. I was informed that no one could come until the following Wednesday because it was a holiday weekend. The repairman came on Tuesday and informed my husband that the freon system was not properly cleaned before installation causing the freon to leak or evaporate from the system, causing the entire coolant system to malfunction. According the repairman this was done during the assembly process. He had to order a part and would take a few days to get. We waited a week and had to call LG back to get the repairmans number and find out what was taking so long. We were informed that the part is on back order and will not be available until after the 15th of June. At no time did the repairman call and inform us of this development. I have two small children in my home and cannot keep fresh foods available for them. I will not recommend an LG appliance to anyone. The customer service sucks and the phone center could give a damn. They could not tell me when we purchased the refrigerator but when my husband called they told him it was purchased in December 2014. This will be 18+/- days without a refrigerator and the weather so far has been in the high 80s.

We purchased an LG refrigerator (Model #LDN20718SW/02) in January 2012. We have replaced the bottom shelf twice now. The second time it broke again within the first week. We have an extended warranty which would not cover replacement if broken within 3 months. We now have a shelf that is also broke that is not covered by the warranty. We do not have children living at home and are not hard on appliances. The plastic in this fridge is very brittle and does not stand up to normal everyday use. LG does not allow purchase of parts, even through an appliance repair, so you can replace these parts yourself. In Canada you must pay a service person to come out to replace these parts!!

The only way it would stop was to pull the stove out from the wall. Still sparking, it was unplugged and we turned off the gas. I purchased the LG refrigerator in June 2016 from Home Depot. The compressor failed July 2017. Fortunately, I had purchased the extended 5-year warranty through Home Depot; however, the on going saga of trying to get the unit repaired is unacceptable. It took nearly 10 days to get repairman to the house to diagnose the problem. There were no compressors anywhere within the United States to replace the defective compressor. The compressor was back ordered with a promised delivery date 10 days after the repairman had diagnosed the problem. I expected the compressor to arrive by August 3rd. I was recently informed that it would not arrive before August 17th with a possible installation to occur within 1 to 3 days after that date! This would be over a month to get the refrigerator repaired. In discussing the problem with the repairman, he informed me that he is seeing numerous compressor problems with the LG refrigerator. Home Depot, although not acknowledging a problem, was good enough to offer a small refrigerator to provide some form of unit for us to have in the interim. I suspect that they know that LG has a major problem that is being swept under the rug. This is a problem that needs further investigation.I honestly want Home Depot to take the unit back, so I can replace it with another brand. It was the top of the line LG refrigerator, in which I paid nearly $3000. Compressors should not fail within a years time, and if they do, there should be replacements available in less time than a month. Clearly, LG has some sort of defective design with their refrigerator compressors. As I have investigated the problem online, I noted that there has been at least one class action suit against LG refrigerators in the recent past. I believe that this issue is potentially lining up for another class action suit.

Purchased new refrigerator from RC Willey 18 months ago with our new house,
Purchased new refrigerator from RC Willey 18 months ago with our new house, have had an LG frontload washer and dryer for over 7 years without an issue. Fridge had great reviews and we really liked the door-in-door. Has worked flawlessly until yesterday. Found water all over the floor (luckily we found it quickly and cleaned it up, it would have eventually ruined our laminate floors (except I have not pulled out the fridge to check underneath). Checked with the manual and went through all the troubleshooting, nothing worked. Called customer service, and they quickly set-up a case number and scheduled a technician to come and see what is wrong. Had the service company call me the next day and confirm an appointment for the following day (Good so far, right? Except all of our frozen food is thawed. Luckily my wife is a florist and she has a floral cooler that we put our refrigerated items in). Two hours later the same person called back and said that they cant do the service call, they do not do LG warranty work. They would call LG and have them schedule someone else. Wanting to make sure that no-one dropped the ball, having no fridge/freezer is a major inconvenience, I called LG service back and asked if the cancellation had been taken care of and a new service company scheduled. It had not. The customer service person was apologetic and said that they needed to get an authorized service company scheduled to come service the refrigerator, because not all companies are equipped to handle cooling issues. Why wasnt this already figured into the request? The person also let me know that the service will hopefully get set up tomorrow (Friday 1/18/2019), and I should hear back next Monday or Tuesday. They gave me another case number. So I went back to the original text response I received from LG Customer Service, it indicated an authorized repair service located 68 miles away. Except I called them and they wont do any work on LG refrigerators without a work authorization code from LG. A cooling issue? They told me they arent equipped to work on LG cooling issues anyway. So then I started looking on-line to see if this was a common problem. Way too many nightmare customer service stories for an issue that is an obvious defect. I would not choose to be without a fridge/freezer for any length of time, and would want to replace it with another product quickly. Pretty disappointed in this product that was pretty expensive.

Purchased model LDE3035SB on 10/27/14. On around the 23rd of Feb (2015) I decided to do the easy clean on my upper oven (this is a double oven range) since it wast that dirty to require the self clean cycle. When it finished I had to wipe the bottom out because there was still water in the bottom. I was about to put the rack back in when I noticed something that I thought was food in the back right corner. I tried to hand clean but it would not clean. I rubbed my fingers over and felt that about a half dollar size section of the enamel was gone. Called LG and they said they would send a repair person out at our expense. We had not used this oven much because we had been gone over all the holidays and could not do much cooking in Jan. because we were having it remodeled and only did toast or baked potatoes or something simple. When the repair guy came out he told me I was pushing the rack back too far and said that LG would not cover anything like this because it was considered cosmetic. We asked if it could be repaired and he said no. We contacted LG and were told they would not do anything about it but for us not to use the any of the self cleaning cycles. If this is true and the blue enamel is only cosmetic, then why cant we use the cleaning cycles. We even went to Lowes to see if they could get something done.... they were told the same thing. Funny thing I was recently told by 2 different appliance repairmen do you know what LG really means when I was asking about my range.... It stands for Lousy Goods. It is only a little over 4 months old and I wont be able to use my self clean. When it gets to filthy, we will toss it and a new rage but not a LG. $1,300 down the drain.

I later found out that the light sockets were very dark and burnt. The plastic lens cover and plastic base were also melted by the light bulbs. I got replacements from Sears’ parts website. I got them the very next day, and replaced all bad parts. After four hours, the fridge started to get hot again--the same problem. I had placed a thermometer inside to monitor the temperature while it had no lights. The temperature was steady at 37 degrees. Four hours later, with the lights on, the temperature reading was 89 degrees. Lots of foods were spoiled, and the plastic parts melted again. So far I have removed the lights, and the temperature is going back to normal. I believe I am not the only one with this defective appliance.

We purchased a $2700 LFX33975ST piece of junk in 2014. The first repair for an error code resulted in a non-working fridge for 3 months because the part was on back-order and cost us over $500 to repair. Three months later the freezer is working but the fridge will not cool below 46 degrees. The repair shop spent over 90 minutes on the phone with an LG technician discussing possible solutions. 1 - Replace the main motherboard ($200) plus installation. 2 - Replace the thermistor. The technician did not recommend any of those solutions because there is some underlying issue with ALL of these refrigerators that they are not telling us. I have checked the fan (working), the fuse on the circuit board (good), and the compressor (working). Ultimately, the suggestion from BOTH LG and my repair shop BUY A NEW FRIDGE BUT NOT LG or SAMSUNG.

Women want a dependable, easy to use, easy to clean stove. My LG stove is the absolute best! I drink a lot of tea and my tea kettle heats up nicely and the HS light is very convenient so you know not where to touch. And the oven is a dream! Cooks nicely and absolutely love the timer to let you know when your food is done. This is a hands down number one in my book!

My LG refrigerator looks and works great. It keeps food cold and does not freeze them in the refrigerator part like my old GE did. The ice maker works well too. The water filters are a bit expensive though. Its a year old now.

My LG electric range touch pad does not always work. Most often it is when I press Bake (350 degree light comes on) and then Start.... and nothing happens!!!! I move my finger all around the area and it wont start. So then I press Clear and voila, no problem; that works just fine!!! In over two years of ownership, this has happened at least a dozen times. Eventually it will work, but there is no rhyme or reason why!!!

Model: LFX28978SW, 3 French Door refrigerator. Less than 10 years old. - 1st month: Plastic guide piece in ice dispenser chute broke off... Ended up mixed in with crushed ice. - 2 years: Mullion spring--a stainless steel spring--broke. - 4 years: Had to replace water valve assembly. - 9 years: 2 mullion spring broke... again... Lucky I bought 2 springs when 1st broke. I could see that it was a weak part and would likely break again. - General: Door seal around mullion torn, both sides. I certainly wont be buying any LG product after this experience. Ive had 3 other reefers; 2 have lasted 2+ decades and one, a KitchenAid, lasted 30 years.

I purchased a home which included appliances including my LG bottom freezer refrigerator (model number LRDC22744TT) this time last year and moved in in August. An internal leak developed in the refrigerator compartment, which was discovered to be a broken reservoir that feeds the water dispenser in the door. The reservoir was replaced by a local serviceman. Here 6 months later, the new reservoir cracks, clearly caused by defect in the component. Their response? Out of warranty. No replacement. LG (or NG, as I now refer to them) and I (and anyone else on Earth that I can persuade) are parting ways.

I have an LG front loader, real nice. Easy to use, don’t like the idea can’t clean the area where you place the soap and softener. It should be easy to remove to prevent mold etc. The model we have even though you can place a large quilt inside it is still wet after the first spin. You have to do a drain and spin in order to get the excess water out. Maybe it would work better if it was a top loader without the agitator inside.

I bought a LG Electric Range, Model # LSE4611ST in Feb. 2020. I have just used the self-clean option and it did not clean the oven completely. I used an oven cleaner and now I have white blotches all over the oven. I have never owned an oven that could not handle oven cleaners. I would like to know how to fix this issue in my $1600 range. Very upset this happened to my fairly new range!

Purchased a model LFXS30766S and paid a lot of money for it. Purchased in 2014 and it died in 2020. Called three places before I could even find a person to come out and look at an LG. Technician with 35 years experience came out and said the compressor is shot. Not drawing the required amps. Called LG and they said it is out of warranty but they cover the compressor for 10 years so not to worry. They gave me a work order number and said the compressor and labor would be covered and to call back in 24-48 hours to see if the repair is approved. I called back in after 48 hours and the lady told me my claim number was not correct, all my information was there but not my name.I was told again not to worry and someone would be calling me back and I confirmed with her that my work order number was valid. I waited one week and when I called back the lady told me again that my work order number was not correct. She told me that she can see where I called but my fridge is out of warranty so they need to reach out to the place that looked at it to see if they will do the repair but I will be responsible for the labor. She asked for the name and email for the repair place and I gave it to her. The repair place with 35 years experience told me not to waste my money trying fix an LG. Its just going to break again and again. He told me to suck it up and put my money towards a better product. They will not perform the repair because of the POOR quality of LG. Now the lady gives me a number of a place that is 1.35 hours away (Rochester. I live in Buffalo) to set up for the repair. I guess that the fact that no one within a 1.35 hour radius of a major metropolitan area will touch an LG shows how horrible their products are and how bad they treat their customers. Called the repair place they gave me and Im still waiting for a call back. I run a large worldwide company and I will make sure I let everyone I know understand my exhausting and terrible experience.
