My refrigerator is not producing ice or water through the door. I contacted someone named Kent and he assured me someone would contact me to resolve this problem. No one has. Im so angry. This item was 2500.00. What a piece of junk. I have had a private plumber in to fix leaks on the fridge. Its only 4 1/2 years old. I would never buy anything by LG Again. The customer service is inadequate, as well as the product.

We purchased this LG French Door Refrigerator model LFXS29626 November 5,2015 from Home Depot, noticed the ice cream and pizzas were not staying frozen, later unit not making ice. Called LG customer support line, which is totally a waste of time, since the first call out of the three millions thereafter, I still have a non working refrigerator. No service center wants to work on LG products, the most recorded reason is LG never wants to sent the part and if by some miracle they do it had taken months to receive. I have never experienced this kind of customer service on anything I have ever purchased nor have I ever wrote a review. I would hope no one has to experience the frustration that we have with this unit. I would never even think of purchasing an LG product ever.

Noisy $4,000 fridge! LG refrigerators are noisy. The linear compressor runs constant and makes a humming and ringing noise that you can hear from other rooms. The LG Customer Service is awful, and they give you run around when you call...on phone for hours! Do not buy LG - horrible experience, and no resolution in sight.

We bought our LG Fridge from Home Depot in 2011. Its a French door-freezer on the bottom style. Our entire unit stopped cooling less than 48 hrs ago and we only have a small college dorm type fridge for our back up. Needless to say, we are losing a lot of food. Very unhappy. We live in rural Iowa, so getting a repairman out here may take several days. Not sure yet if were covered or if well have to pay out of pocket for this.

I purchased a new LG French door refrigerator with two bottom drawers as the freezer 2 years ago 1/6/2019 brand new. Prior to Christmas 2020, the unit quit cooling completely with a dh-f code. All the food had to be thrown out. I have contacted LG 6 times, the best they can do is late Feb to repair the unit. That is unacceptable and I will not recommend LG, they have a known track record of refrigerator problems based on my search of reviews. I have never owned a refrigerator that didn’t last at least 10 years. Shame on LG for poor products and poor customer service.

Runaway oven temp noted Monday 26 Jan 2015. Preheated oven to 350, placed pizza on pan in oven and had smoke alarm go off 5 minutes later. Controls on range allowed me to turn off oven and allow to cool. Pizza was reduced to charcoal. Obtained thermometer from my Grill with 600 F upper temp limit and hung it from the rack in LG Oven and set temp to 350. Within 5-7 minutes temp maxed out thermometer at 600+ degrees. Turned off the oven and heard a sharp snap noise behind the oven followed by clock and all other LED displays turning off. Pulled Oven and disconnected 240 plug from socket.Bluepoint DMM showed 0 VAC when both hot lead touched (should have been 220 - 240). Also showed 0 VAC when either hot lead touched to neutral (should have been 120). Circuit breaker found to be in open position and would no longer close to complete the circuit. Took cover from 240 Range connector and found both hot legs were physically melted open, forming a 3/16 inch gap between end of wiring and connector wire receivers (In English, there was such a sudden and dead short type of electrical failure that it blew the wires off of the terminals in the connector and totaled my Siemens circuit breaker). With Junk LG now disconnected, I used DMM to check for continuity of three-pronged plug while still connected to range and had one hot circuit shorted to neutral. Removed cable from stove and using DMM found no short between the wires of the cable. Range still showed short to neutral.Sent E-mail to LG and was sent a complete wiring diagram. Since this range never did show a fault code at any time I pulled back cover and PCB cover. Many locations of paint discoloration noted on back of Range including the stove light area, the two large secondary electrical connectors, and in other areas. Dont intend to play with LG on this for safety reasons. I have new Whirlpool range coming today and am about to replace 240 connector, wiring and the circuit breaker for our protection. The LG stove is going to go to a local, LG certified and personally trusted appliance repair facility. I will be asking for this unnamed store to provide my lawyer with the results of their testing and diagnosis along with defective parts. My intent is to make LG very uncomfortable for selling these dangerous devices to us as consumers.

Bought an LG refrigerator for 4 years ago. 2 months ago our refrigerator and freezer stopped working. We lost everything in the fridge and freezer. As we no longer had a warranty on it we used our American Home Shield warranty. They sent a technician out to diagnose that it was the compressor. The repairman stated there was 10 year warranty on the compressors because of problems that LG has had. Because of that he couldnt fix our refrigerator LG did not contract with them for warranty work after waiting a week for him to get there. American Home Shield then sent out Sears not to fix the problem but to diagnose it again. That was the end of week two. We then had to wait another week for the compressor to come in and for Sears to come and fix it.3 weeks without a refrigerator or freezer. Living out of A cooler. The 1st technician told us, Dont be surprised if something else goes out because your compressor has made your refrigerator work too hard as it was dying. Sears tech however denied this statement and said no. Once we fix the compressor no problem. Well its now 2 months later my fridge and freezer do not work again. Lost everything again. Took a week for American Home Shield to have Sears come out again for a recall on their original work and he is determined it is the motherboard that is bad and he cant tell if the compressor is bad because the motherboard is not working so well have to wait until the motherboard comes and he fixes it and then we might have to wait again for a new compressor. Once we fix it no problem. BS.Not happy with this LG product. I got it because of all the problems I had with my Frigidaire. Is there not a refrigerator company out there that is selling quality products. So now that Ive lost two freezer full of food two refrigerators fulls of food and living out of a ice chest for now for weeks and more to go Im not a happy camper with LG. Not to mention we go thru bags of ice at $4 a bag and have to put new bag in every other day. So at 4 weeks so far with both repairs LG has cost me $56.00 in ice and we dont even have it fixed yet.

Purchased all new LG appliances and 11.5 months to the day my freezer stopped working. I have had 3 different service companies come to my house all claiming its a different issue. Two weeks ago another company came out and replaced the compressor, it lasted two weeks. I lost most of the food in my freezer and now the refrigerator is holding a balmy 53 degrees. According to the USDA, food stores longer than two hours in temp over 43 should not be consumed. The repair place has to come tomorrow and declare a lemon, but who knows how long it will be before they take care of this, if they ever do. All I can say is NEVER BUY LG products.

We purchased a refrigerator from a chain, product arrived to our home in good shape. While install, installers dropped door and smashed ice maker. Had to take fridge back and it took two months to receive new fridge. When new one arrived they had to take doors off. Upon reinstalling the doors the door with ice in it, it was uneven with other door. When we asked about this they said that once ice was in door it would settle. It didn’t. We called store. They said we had to contact manufacturer. We called them and waited to receive a callback. Never received call. We called back and LG told us they would have installers back out to fix refrigerator. Company never showed. Called LG again and never received a callback again. We called back again and was told that company no longer does work for them. They told us that they would send someone else out, never showed. We call but it takes a while to receive calls back. We are now told that it has been too long and we would need to pay someone to come out and fix it. It has never been right since purchase and we can not get the store or the manufacturer to make this right. We continue to just get promises until it has been too long for any help.

The fridge was not cooling and my food was getting spoiled. I called LG and they sent the local technician three times. They also sent different types of parts. Then, the local technician tried to fix it, but they couldnt. Finally, I was told they couldn’t do it and LG was going to replace the refrigerator. I called LG and they told me that they would have to send their own technician. That took almost two months and finally, the LG technician came to my house and changed a part.At that period, I lost a lot of food and the medications of my mom and my son. I bought every day from the store so I lost almost $1,500. I followed up with LG and they told me they were going to compensate me for 1,500. After the refrigerator was fixed, they called me and told me they can pay only $250 reimbursements food loss. Right now, the refrigerator is working but my main concern is who’s going to pay for my loss. I have too many problems and at the same time, I got a refrigerator problem. It’s too much headache.

We purchased an LG refrigerator almost 4 years ago but we have had on and off problems with it for a year and a half. It has had the board replaced about a year ago but this has not resolved our problems and the only service company in our city authorized to repair it doesnt seem interested in resolving our problem any further. The problems are several. The ice maker works when it feels like it. The door alarm goes off even when the doors are closed. The freezer light has had the switch replaced twice but still refuses to come on most the time. The freezer freezes everything but ice cream which remains very soft. I had heard Lg products were very good quality but this refrigerator has soured me on ever buying another Lg product.

I bought all new appliances for my kitchen... all LG. Love everything but the dishwasher! I never thought I had to read the manual to run this... but one day realized that the filter was really greasy and there was water standing in the drain. Then I found a quick guide with my papers that actually said to clean this filter every time you wash! The water never drains out which creates moisture even if you put a paper towel in it each time you use it! Really... Does a manufacturer expect you to clean the filter each time? Plus we dont ever put dirty dishes in it to begin with! Pricey item And LG wont back this up because I am beyond my warranty. Who has time for this!? Forget this product.

If there was a way to give this LG True Balance Top-load Washer less than one star I would do it. I absolutely HATE HATE HATE this machine. There is no sized load, small or large, that goes thru a complete cycle without the unbalanced signal going on. This is NOT a washer you can leave alone for any length of time. I am constantly standing over it to readjust the clothing in the load to prevent yet another rinse and the washers attempt to even out the load before the spin. Unless there is a fix for this, I will NEVER buy another LG product.

Bought this Washer sometime in 2011 and since about 2 months after we bought it, it has a mold build up around the front gasket! Called LG and they said you have to clean the front gasket and keep it clear every few days or after a few loads as it blocks the drain. We started cleaning the front gasket and kept using the clean drum feature with bleach and still kept building up MOLD. Now I see that other people are having the same problem as me. Thanks LG. Periodically, about once a month or two, the machine will dump a load of slimy black crap on our clothes at the end of a wash cycle. We leave the door open, clean the filter fairly often, and drain the tube. No warning - it just happens. Use HE detergent sparingly and Warm/Cold or mostly Cold/Cold setting. Has done this since day one. We do clean the seal around the door as well. Not sure why this stuff burps out once in a while, but more than just annoying. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

LG Premium service - I called LG on my washer that was out of service warranty. The washer had flooded out of the front door seal. They transferred me to the department that dealt with out of warranty repairs. They dont mention you are not working with LG even though all correspondence has the LG logo on it. Silly me for thinking I was dealing with a reputable company. The one time service was simply wiping down the seal of the washer that eventually flooded the washroom a second time. I called and they returned with a new seal. Next day it flooded the room again. 2 days out of work and $300 for 2 more floods. I called and requested a refund for poorly executed services. Realizing my downtime out of work and paying for the service paid for a new washer. I received a reference number and was told I would receive a refund in 6 weeks or so. 2 months now, and 1 hour of calls, I was told that the case was reviewed and my services were delivered as contracted. No calls or notification that a ruling was made. 2 supervisors later today basically told me the same. Next call is to corporate. If you have been taken by Assurant, the number its 212-859-7000. Its not the $300 but the lack of customer service and QC by this company. DO NOT BUY A CONTRACT FROM THIS COMPANY!! I will never purchase an LG device or appliance if they associate with a company like this.

We purchased an LG front loader washing machine, LG dryer and LG refrigerator in 2006. The dryer needed repair service once; the washing machine had several issues including nasty smell, weird spots on clothes and needed lots of repair, and the refrigerator has stopped working twice. We had purchased the appliances through Best Buy and were able to cover some of those repairs under the extended warranty. All the appliances are long out of warranty now. Last year, we found that there was an internal leak in the washing machine causing the rear left housing to rust completely through which resulted in a flooded laundry area every time the machine was running. Now the freezer/refrigerator stopped working (again). I have not yet contacted LG as I dont expect them to actually do anything about these issues. The dryer is still running as far as I know. In all fairness, we have used the washer extensively but based on my experience with other brands, I would not buy any LG appliances again. They were expensive, turned out to be substandard, and have costly repairs.

I purchased 4 of the LG Studio line for my new kitchen. Gas Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher, and refrigerator. 1st use of Dishwasher and it did not clean. Then the items I left in for the next wash, grew BLACK MOLD. There is always moisture in the dishwasher, even day after running it, and I have to leave the door ajar to help it dry. If I shut the door, BLACK MOLD grows. The microwave turntable rattles so loud it can be heard over the normal microwave sounds. The gas stove is often unresponsive. The buttons on the front do not always work and I have had to pull it out from the wall to unplug it and plug it back in to get them to work. It is very random and I have not been able to figure out a pattern of use that causes it to malfunction.I put in 3 service requests to have these repaired. Im entering the 3rd month and they STILL have not been to my home. LG sent this to a 3rd party Vendor AE FACTORY. They have left partial emails telling me to call them and then they do NOT answer their phone. I have spent even more time contacting LG Customer Service, who has done nothing to help. They have no control over their 3rd party repair vendors, and no supervisor will ever get on the phone or call me back. DO yourself a favor, go with a different brand!

Had microwave for around 11 months. Glass started to peel on the inside manufacture defect. Contacted LG numerous times sent pictures. Pictures of receipt and delivery receipt first they were going to send me a box and return it then they change their mind and said that before they could give me a refund because they dont repair countertop microwaves. They said first I had to buy a new LG microwave then send them pictures of the old labels cut or destroyed. Of the old microwave then they would give me refund. I proceeded to tell them that I did not want to buy another LG microwave because I thought they were crap and I should not have to buy another of their products. That didnt go over so well. All I wanted was the microwave to be repaired or replaced. I will not be forced to buy another one of their products. I already have the stove and refrigerator that had to be repaired five times in the first year. Part of a companys integrity is stand behind their product when something goes wrong and not forcing you to buy their product but instead encourage you to buy their product again by the service you received when something goes wrong. Now all I can think of is going to college for 8 years to become a lawyer to sue LG over their refund and return policies. But in reality will probably just use their piece of crap microwave for target practice to cite in my rifle.

Run away as fast as you can from any and all LG French Door Refrigerators!
Run away as fast as you can from any and all LG French Door Refrigerators! They are beautiful on the outside but are like a rotten apple full of worms on the inside! We were taken in by its appearance and didn’t realize that its running parts are defective! Reviewing many of the other comments there is a reoccurring theme, that of ice makers, compressors and fluid lines within a 3 year period. Don’t be fooled. LG knows about the problems and defects of this refrigerator, when you call the LG repair number the prompt even asks if you are calling to repair the ice maker!Don’t be misled...this is a disposable refrigerator with a 3 year lifespan! My experience is the same as many of you, ice maker went then the compressor and fluid (in the secret enclosed unit) that only a licensed LG technician can work on and good luck on finding one! I called 16 repairman and all of their responses were similar...I don’t work on those, they are junk, need a special license”. I found one that LG referred me to and he quoted $99.00 to just come out to diagnose the problem. I already have paid a repairman to diagnose the problem, then $600.00 plus to pay for the labor, sure the warranty covers the parts but it’s nearly impossible to get the parts in a timely manner and find a LG licensed repairman.LG Company should be ashamed of how they allow this product to continually go down the assembly line of production “knowing” that the defects have not been addressed. And then appealing to the eye of the consumer while in reality stealing from them. Shame on you LG! I am definitely going to check into an active Class Action Suit against LG so I can be heard. And if youre listening LG...I want a new fridge! You owe me that!

Our compressor and coil failed on our 4 1/2 year old fridge. We bought the fridge from Lowes Canada with a 4 year extended warranty. About 2 years ago the fridge stopped working, all the food spoiled. We called the repair company and they fixed it. Just recently the fridge died. LG said they would send out a repair person in about a week! All the food spoiled. LG said the repair man would call us to schedule when he would be coming. The day before he was supposed to come, LG cancelled our appointment without telling us and said they need the repair man elsewhere and they would reschedule the appointment for TWO weeks later. Who does that to their customers? We called Lowes and freaked out. They sent over another repairman who said the compressor and coil were pooched. 3 weeks we waited for him to come back to fix it. In the mean time we purchased another fridge to put in the basement so we could get back to normality (not LG Brand). The fridge is fixed with new compressor and coil but the compressor will not stop running. LG and Lowes have both washed their hands and said there is nothing else they can do! I’ll I can hear in my house I’d the constant hum of the fridge all the time. I have never had such a bad experience with LG and Lowes Canada in my life. Too many apologies and no action. Talk is cheap! Stand behind what you build and stand behind what you sell. I am a small business owner and would never treat my customer that way. Brutal. I purchased an LG french door refrigerator Model lfx28968st in January 2014
I purchased an LG french door refrigerator Model lfx28968st in January 2014. I paid close to $3,000 for it, so I was surprised when it stopped cooling less than a year later. I immediately called LG who referred me to a local company that does their warranty work. It turned that the company had been out of business for years and that no one in our area actually does their warranty work. When I called LG again they seemed surprised and told me that I would have to find a local company that would work with them to get my refrigerator repaired. After calling around town, I discovered that Sears was the only company who would attempt to repair my basically new refrigerator. I made the first appointment I could get (several weeks later) to have my refrigerator diagnosed because Sears would have to get parts ordered and approved through LG before any repair could be made so they could get reimbursed for their labor. In the meantime, we decided to rent a refrigerator to keep our food from spoiling as this was obviously going to be a long process. The repairman told me that it could be several things, one of which was the main computer panel. After finally getting the part in and installed, he told me to give it a few days to see if that did the trick. Several days later it was still not cooling. I had to go through the waiting process again. By the time Sears got it fixed for me, I had been without my nice refrigerator for many months and I had been paying rental on the other refrigerator. About a year and a half later, right after Thanksgiving 2016, my refrigerator once again stopped cooling. Also, my LG microwave purchased at the same time quit working. It turns out that neither one would never work again. This time we just purchased another used smaller refrigerator and called LG. They gave me the same information about the repair company that was out of business. I called Sears once again. Every time a repairman came out to my house they would tell me stories about how LG refrigerators are not any good and that they are constantly being called about repairs for them. I had not bought the extended warranty on my refrigerator, so this time I was told that I would have to pay for the labor, but LG would cover the cost of the parts until the original warranty ran out. I was told that LG would try to repair it, but that if it were deemed unrepairable that they would replace it. For almost the entire next year Sears would come out, diagnose my refrigerator, call LG who would suggest what was wrong and order parts. I would wait for the parts to come in and set another appointment for repair. During that period, Sears came out about five times to diagnose and five times to repair. They replaced the Evaporator A, Dryer, Dryer Assembly, Dryer UV (Restricted), Heater Exchange, Pipe Assembly... Finally, in November of 2017, Sears decided my refrigerator was unrepairable and gave up. They gave me back all of the labor that I had paid, minus the trip charge to come to my house. It turns out that because it had taken so long to try to repair my refrigerator that LG was not going to honor any kind of warranty. For the last year I have the nicest looking boat anchor in the middle of my kitchen floor that I dont know what to do with. Complaining to LG doesnt help. They just pass me around until I give up. Complaining to Sears doesnt help either. They just put me through to the warranty department, which does me no good anymore. I believe that LG should be banned from our country. I will never buy another of their products again.

Noticed rust around dispenser drawer and filter door. There has been no misuse or spillage, this seems to be happening due to over sloshing as dispenser is emptying during wash cycle. Also we saw on other reviews where this is happening to other washer brands as well and I would agree with one service man’s opinion that cutting corners on paint seems to be the problem as the paint is extremely thin on this machine. This is clearly obvious as the area where the problem occurred had to be sanded in order to stop the rust from running down the face of the machine and spreading rust all over my floor. I paid a huge amount of money for this machine and the matching dryer and pedestals when we remodeled our home, I wanted high-end look for the resale of our home. We have sold our home and personally I will not buy a new set for the home we are building even though I loved the performance of the machines, too bad they ruined their wonderful products by cutting corners on a simple thing like paint. News flash LG, a cheapskate in your company is going to ruin your product’s name! Shame on you for charging a high quality price for a great machine only just to ruin it and anger the consumers by screwing them over paint.

I purchased an LG topload washer - model #WT7600HWA in September of last year. Immediately I noticed that the clothes came out dingy and old looking. In December I noticed that some sort of fibrous looking matter was on the clothes when I removed them from the washer. It has gotten progressively worse and my clothes are being ruined as I have to rinse them several times and I still cant get it all off. Since January I have made at least 12 calls to customer service, executive services and now have been bumped up to product specialists. I have had 4 service calls and spoken with the manager of the department in the retail store where we purchased the machine. The LG service man who was last here acknowledged that there was a problem as he actually saw it on my clothes but told me that he could find no source for it so LG wouldnt replace the machine. I have documented with pictures and sent two letters with another going out today; have researched online and found complaints of the same thing happening to other people; and called my own appliance repair company that I have used on other appliances. They told me they had a customer with the exact same problem. They went out and took her machine apart and they were not able to find the source of the problem either. The matter that is left on the clothes looks like white/tan specks all of the clothes or it comes out in big streaks and smears. In my conversations with each and every department they have given me tasks and advice that contradict the information in their own product manual. I have run tub clean per their instructions many times. With product; with bleach; without anything; have had our water tested and drained our hot water heater. All to no avail. I think the appliance is defective in some way and LG will not replace it. It is ruining my clothes. At this rate I will have to purchase a new washer and a new wardrobe!

I spent $2379.00 for my LG Fridge Model number LFX21976ST/02. I have had it since 2011. Not long compared to every other refrigerator I have ever had. It had been a total piece of junk since I purchased. The ice maker never works. You have to unplug the door to the ice and chip the ice as it never comes down. The french door closure has broke and it a nightmare. It has to be closed in a certain order or it remains open. The only problem is, there is no indication it is open, so I have had spoiled food on at least 4 occasions. Now I find out the Compressor has gone out. In 5 years??? I live alone and its not opened and closed constantly. I will NEVER buy a product from them ever again. In fact Im throwing out this one and just going to get a new cheap one.

Electric Range LRE30451SB - Purchased from Best buy in April 2008. Last evening ten minutes into cooking dinner, there was cracking, sound, like blown electrical noises, a bunch of red under my large burner (in areas that there should not have been) and what sounded like an electrical explosion. No smoke, no smell.... and strangely enough it did not blow the breaker. Purchased the additional 5 year protection plan, but of course as luck would have it I am 4 months out of warranty. Best Buy told me I should have received another email offering additional protection (did not receive), so I am out of luck. Did some research (on this site) and saw mention of a recall. I called LG, and mine was one of the recalled ranges. WHY ON EARTH were customers not notified of this recall? Especially when it has to do with burners getting too hot and/or not shutting off. I could have done without the near cardiac experience. There is supposed to be a technician here in the morning. This is the second LG product that we have had a major problem with. The other was a TV less than 6 months old. Very upsetting. We work very hard, and prices are high, quality low.

Purchased $3,000+ LG counter depth Stainless refrigerator late November 2013. In less than six months we have lost the contents of the freezer twice. I asked the retailer that we purchased from, ABT, to replace this obviously defective unit. They say that failure must occur three times in a year before they will consider replacement. I will never buy another LG appliance again.

LG WT487OCW top loading washing machine - Purchased 7 months ago. Since day one the machine gave constant signals of being out of balance. We constantly have to restart the machine extending washing time to an average of 1 1/2 to 2 hours. The diagnostic system built into the machine is not helpful. It diagnosed a different problem and could not correct it. Currently it dispenses water during the spin cycle, again extending the total cycle due to having to restart the machine. Customer service did reply with a warranty repair that is pending. In contact with the servicing contractor who stated that software problems with this machine are common and a motherboard and flywheel may be the needed repair. We will see.

I purchased these 2 items less than 5 months ago. The fridge stopped making ice, and the range is not working at all. I called LG and they sent a tech to fix it. He ordered a part, replaced it, and still the same, now they canceled todays appt, for no reason, and apparently tomorrow another tech will come to check again, then they will keep changing parts and guessing what it is. I told Customer Service that I have been like these for 2 wks already, with nowhere to cook, and I needed these to be fix ASAP. I told them to please change my new range for another one. Mine has become refurbish since they keep replacing parts, its not original no more. But LG continues to allegate, that they cannot do anything but just wait for the tech to see what it is. They say they cannot change my equipment for a new one, it can ONLY be repaired. I hope any issues like this will be covered under the Manufacturers Warranty, but I can see this is not true. At the end the Consumer can not even respond in the proper way and solve anything. What a shame. I am very disappointed, and for sure WILL NOT BUY OR RECOMMEND THIS BRAND TO ANYBODY.

I purchased the item on May 28, 2010. Now, when I use it, I smell gas. I made a call to the Gas Company to check the line. It turns out the dryer is malfunctioning. This product isnt even two years old yet. I spent $600 on this appliance. What a waste of money! On top of it, the first customer service representative wasted a week of my time. They had me fax (to the wrong number) a form from the Gas Company confirming that it is an appliance malfunction. I called back only to find out that I need to either have an LG certified appliance repair shop fix it, or requested an extended warranty from LG. I will never buy a product from this company again. $600 did not even reached two years worth of use. Unacceptable and horrible customer service on top of it!

My 9 1/2 month old top of the line LG washer died. It took 12 days for service. I was told a part needed to be ordered before a service visit could be made. Unsure how you can assess a problem without seeing the unit. Service man arrived from Tresco out of Ft Wayne IN. The first thing he did was open up the unit when 4-6 gallons of water flew out and went under my floating floor. Of course he didnt have parts! The final straw was when he complained he had to drive 2 hours to get to my house. Spent countless hours trying to get service and was informed after 3 weeks that the warranty was canceled and they would not honor any repair. Their rationale was I washed a rug in the unit. Worst customer service I have ever received and will never purchase anything LG again. The service is horrible and their warranty isnt worth the paper it is written on!

My old washing machine gave out and I invested in what I thought was going
My old washing machine gave out and I invested in what I thought was going to be a good washer. I decided to splurge a bit in order to get a good washer. I purchased from a 3rd party (JCPenney) so it took 4 weeks plus an additional 2 weeks because it was on back order. So for 6 weeks I was going to the laundromat. I took the day off work to be available for delivery. The delivery guys dropped it off, hooked it up and checked it and it was working. I did my first load of laundry and it would not complete a load. It gave me an error message. All day long I tried different ways around it and nothing. My husband changed the water hoses since it said it was the water pressure and nothing. We called LG that evening and basically was told because it was the water pressure in our home that they would not send a repairman. Our house is very new and our old washer worked fine water pressure wise. We told them to just take it back then and they agreed.Very long story short they would tell us they would take it back and or send a repairman and nothing would happen. We would call back and same promises and nothing. JCPenney has called them various times to have them send someone to repair and they refuse. Now its 2 weeks out and we, JCPenney and even the delivery people have called various times to get it repaired or returned and they refuse. Its insane were having to go through this kind of trouble when its brand new out of the box and we bought warranties on it. Im extremely disappointed in the way LG is handling this situation and I will never buy another LG appliance in my life nor will I recommend to anyone that they do either. They have lost a good customer because we are loyal to brands that are good to us. I wish they would just take this dang washer, refund us and we could just get a different brand. Never again will I make the mistake of buying LG.

He had to replace the compressor. My LG is working again but I anticipate my fridge to fail again in two years time. What a worrisome product! Repairman was awesome: in and out within 2 hours. He also knew about the first lawsuit that was dismissed. I asked him if there was any other way to convert their inverter type compressor to the traditional type or to a different brand but he said no. I just hope my LG doesnt explode next... wait... thats Samsung. Lol. This ends my purchase of any Korean appliance product.

First off, I must say that my LG appliances were great. At First. We bought a new house and all new major appliances. Now at the 5-year mark, they are breaking. No problems with broken parts except the ice dispenser (only crushed). A month ago, the stove overheated. I looked online only to find out that the stove had been recalled. A call was put in to LG and I was given an order number and told that a repair company would contact me. After 10 days, I called LG back again and I was then given the name and # of the company that was supposed to come and fix the stove. Another week goes by and I call that company to be told that I lived too far away to come fix it (about 30 miles). Another call to LG who did not believe me, so I was put on hold for almost an hour while LG called the repair company. I was then given the name of another company on July 5, that I contacted. Company # 2 said they were waiting on the part. Today is July 17. I still have no working stove. On July 15th, I came home to water all over my kitchen floor. I opened the refrigerator door to warm food and melted ice. I bypassed LG and called out a repairman on the 16th of July ($70.00) just to pull in the driveway. The repairman moved some stuff around and called it good. Today, the 17, I called him to let him know that the fan is still blowing but the temp is about 50 degrees. So now I have 2 very pretty LG appliances that do not work. Not happy at all because both items were big ticket items totaling over 4 grand. Also have an LG TV that is 2 years old, used maybe 3 times a week, that has about 5-inch black spot in the screen. I guess I would rather pay a higher electric bill every month using an older but functional item than to have to replace appliances every couple of years. Very disappointed and will not buy another LG product again.

LG WM3360HWCA - After about 2 years the washer sounds like a Concorde taking off on spin cycle. You cannot be in the same room as the noise is so bad. Called LG and of course theres no one here on the island (live in Hawaii) to come and service it. They gave me the contact number for a company that does repairs. Unfortunately after a week of calling them and no return calls I ended up having Sears come out. He spun the drum in the machine all for $105 and then stated that the repairs would be $1100 as the bearings had gone out. I paid $700 for this washer. How can the repairs cost more? The Sears service rep said that I was over using the machine. I explained that I only fill up to the minimum line on the guide inside. He stated that in Hawaii the water is soft and that we are supposed to use half the recommendation that is on the bottle. I have never heard this before. So now out-of-pocket and have to go and buy a brand-new washer. LG the good life my ass.

I bought an LG Refrigerator #LFC25770 in November 2008. I paid over $1,500.00 for the French door style with bottom drawer freezer. The compressor keeps coming on and then clicks right off. The freezer thawed and the refrigerator no longer cooled. After doing research online, find that the cause might be the starter relay. I tried to order the part and it is no longer available. You now have to replace the relay, thermostat and compressor; should have been a warning that LG has had this issue before. I called LG customer service since the sealed system was still under warranty for parts. They gave me several contacts that did the warranty service for them. However, no one comes out to my location. I called LG back and they gave me several more names. I called all and once again either they dont service LG or they dont come to my area. Again, I called LG who gave me more names and numbers. Did I mention the time I was wasting and the cost of long distance calls? I was told it was my problem since nobody would come out. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on. I called back and asked for a supervisor and was transferred and explained the issues with LG and he said he would make the calls and try to find someone. To say I am not happy with LG would be putting it mildly. The products and the service suck.

In October of 2019 I purchased a full suite of LG appliances, refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer. All purchased from and installed by Best Buy. I really like all the appliances and they all seem to perform well, with the exception of the dishwasher. I have a constant and ongoing problem with it draining. This problem appeared within the first month. Best Buy came out and could not replicate the problem. In January the same problem again. Best Buy replaced the drain pump. That lasted less than one week. By this point Best Buy was no longer off in home service appointments because of the Covid-19 thing.I went to the LG web. Requested a repair. The service responded the next day, came out a determined a new control board was needed. A week later they came out to replace it. That lasted 4 days. I am now once again without a dishwasher. Ive again requested service from LG but have yet to hear back, that was yesterday. Today I called your 800 number and ended up hanging up on your representative because of the poor service offered by her. Update on 12/07/2019: I wrote on here about a LG REFRIGERATOR that failed in 4 years. LG responded and asked me to send private message and they would help. I was pretty impressed but no one has contacted me in 5 days. Meanwhile I am without a fridge. I guess to them not a big deal but I would think the average reviewer would understand the impact and urgency of being without. I also have not got contacted about someone coming out to repair. Appt canceled and after 5 days no idea on status. LG, UNEXPECTEDLY LOSING A FRIDGE IS A HUGE PROBLEM FOR A FAMILY. If you want follow on business, act with some sense of urgency to support your products. Week 1 without a refrigerator.Original Review: I bought an LG refrigerator 4 years ago and experienced a failure day after Thanksgiving. Got stuck on hold for over 30 minutes first day but got a hold of LG pretty quickly on Monday morning. They have a known compressor issue. They did offer to have someone come out. Would replace compressor if that is issue but there are no service folks near me even though I live in Bloomington INDIANA with a population of about 50000 to 80000 [when students are here). Best Buy sold me the fridge and they could care less. Lesson learned. So I will have to wait another 3-5 business days to even talk about an appointment. Meanwhile no fridge. So I will call it a loss. No more appliances from Best buy and no more LG products. But an expensive, inconvenient lesson unfortunately. It might have gotten resolved faster if I lived in a metropolitan area. I expect much more than 4 years from a refrigerator and I would not expect to need to pay $300 for an extended warranty. I paid $1399 on a Black Friday deal. The fridge was not loud, worked ok until it failed, ice maker wasnt great and ice got stuck in chute often.

Ive heard the compressor failure is a mass issue with LG refrigerators, but what is worse is the time I have to be without a refrigerator. Mine died under warranty on August 1st. Today (8-19-2019) was the 1st service appointment LG had available which is two and a half weeks after calling LG. One would think that with this being a very common issue, the repair person would already have a compressor with him. No that would be too logical. He left today and now we have another appointment to actually fix it on 9/6/19. No loaner, no anything, but just them saying thats the best they can do. That is very poor customer service. Its really hard with kids and summer to be refrigerator-less for 37 days. This is really unreasonable, but we have no reasonable alternative. Other than this MAJOR issue, I loved the refrigerator.

I am pleased with how well it cleans all types of fabrics. My only criticism would be the sensor function on the dryer. We have been having a cooling issues with our LG French Door Refrigerator. We called the 800 243 0000 number a few times. The first time, the associate asked us to reset the unit and wait for 24 hrs. After the unit failed to reset, we called the number since the unit is under warranty. We were told LG does not have service technicians in our area and we will have to go through an authorized service center. The first service center refused to work with us saying they need the original sales receipt even after LG promised to cover the parts. The authorized service center then called me to give an estimate of $1500 without even looking at the unit. After we called LG service to help us find a technician or another service center, the LG executive response team member set me up with another authorized service center, who set up an appointment after LG provided an authorization. We waited for a week for the appointment, only to have the service call and inform us that they made a mistake and will not service LG units. This is after the LG associate was on a conference call with us and the service center a week ago. So after two week of waiting we have no resolution in sight and LG customer service keeps giving us the runaround. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE LG PRODUCTS.

Stains remain, the clothes appear dingy, and after the load is complete, all the clothes are twisted together in knots. I have to separately untangle each piece in the load before placing in the dryer. No agitator in the top loader, insufficient water, spin speed ties clothes in knots. You should see my king size sheets. Its been a nightmare since day one. AVOID this machine like the plague. Im getting a replacement ASAP.

We purchased a 23 cubic foot French door refrigerator. Unfortunately we did not purchase an extended warranty. Within three years, the first problem was the ice maker, which LG repaired at no cost. The second problem came when a handle for a crisper broke off and now the fan motor now sounds like a motor boat. This all happened within three years and when I tried to contact a person of responsibility my emails go unanswered. I feel that this a poorly made product and seek relief and repair.

Machine purchased at Home Depot in 2011. Year 3 rust appeared where around the bleach dispenser. If you get the one year service plan be careful as when your machine hits 5 years, no more service! Do not buy! Stick with Kenmore!!! If I could travel all 50 states and warn people about this crappy machine I would... Horrible customer service. They also do not come out to repair right away, you have to do various checks on the washer for them to actually come out. They want to know whats wrong or what did you do? What was wrong was I tried to wash a load of laundry and the machine did not work! I will never again buy LG!

I have purchased a LDG4315ST from Best Buy 1 month ago during a remodel. It has been installed for 4 days now and I get a random gas smell odor from it. I had my contractor check the lines and no leaks. It has a leak inside somewhere. Just randomly you will walk by and smell the faintest hint of gas. Of course since it sat in my garage for a month it cant go back to Best Buy. I bought a gas detector to put near the range. Perhaps I can get some help here for my $1500 bomb I just purchased.

However every person I talked to was helpful, friendly, and compassionate. Still waiting on my food reimbursement & no one called me back to extended my warranty... Without a warranty this would have been more expensive so make sure you get the warranty.

Our less than 2 year old LG refrigerator stopped cooling and the freezer quit making ice on a Saturday or Sunday. When we realized it at 9pm on Sunday we called LG right away and that’s when the run around started. By Tuesday we had logged 8 phone calls to customer service. The representatives just read from a script and told us they had to send a work order to the repair people and it takes 3-5 business days. We tried to tell them the service people they mentioned in our city told us they wouldn’t work on LG (we’d already called) so they were wasting their time. We gave them the name of the closest service person willing to come out and even offered to pay him if LG could just reimburse us and LG refused. The service guy is standing by 30 miles away just waiting for the go ahead from LG before he heads to our house. He’s been screwed over by them before so he’s not willing to come out until he has the order in writing. This is now Friday and we’ve logged 12 calls to LG, 1 to Consumer Reports, 1 to BBB and 1 to our local consumer reporting agency. Unfortunately we purchased all new black, stainless, LG kitchen appliances when we remodeled our kitchen and if we go buy another refrigerator the color won’t exactly match the other appliances, but I think that may be our next step. My advice is to stay away from LG. They don’t stand behind their products and their customer service is terrible!

Bought an LG washer from Home Depot in Alamogordo, NM about 4 yrs ago. From the very first few uses we would occasionally notice small holes appearing in clothes and towels etc. Followed manual carefully about what cycle to spin clothes on, also followed cleaning procedure rigorously as my daughters LG developed the dreaded mold. I was assured that would not happen if I left the door open and cleaned the seal and ran tub clean cycle frequently. I did all that and still developed the mildew/mold stench that permeates our towels mostly. The small holes I finally figured out was caused by the spin cycle (even on low) forcing the thinner weight fabric through the drain holes in tub and catching the fabric on the unpolished back side of rough punched drain holes. I actually physically pulled a t-shirt off the side of the tub slowly and saw with my own eyes the fabrics pulling out of the holes leaving small tears in the shape of the drain hole pattern. Many clothing items were ruined before I started washing everything, even towels in laundry bags. I use cotton pillow covers to dont stink and wash towels in. The main computer panel started to go out immediately after the one year warranty was up. The washer now sits, but at least my clothes dont stink and I have no holes in my new clothes. Laundromats are not that bad after all. The crap that is being pawned off on the consumers is deplorable.

In the past 4 months I have had 2 of the 4 LG products I own go out or have issues. Attempting to get these products repaired or service which are under warranty is difficult. LG does not have enough service techs to cover their area of service. Which causes for extend wait and service times. Which is fine if one of your devices is a TV. Though I had a fridge go out and for the issue to total get resolved took 3+ weeks, which end with me purchasing a new fridge not made by LG.

Bought LG washer and dryer just over 6 years ago. Had no problems till today when the dryer started to thump. I am a retired millwright-machinist and have repaired washers and dryers as part of my job for years in a large hospital. I took the dryer apart to discover the drum was cracked on the welded seam. My extended warranty ran out in March. Called the Warranty Department at LG and was told they never heard of such a thing and could not help me (I did tell them that there were hundreds of similar complaints on the internet). Called the local service company and was told a service call would be about $300 plus parts. They couldnt understand I already had it apart.I called another company and was told that I could buy a new drum for $133.58 but the drum was back east and it would take several weeks to have it shipped here, so I will weld the drum for now and order it at a later date. Not happy. The washer has performed O.K. but has a funky smell if you keep the door shut. We wash and dry about 4 loads per week so its not abused. Will not buy another LG.

My 5 year old refrigerator suddenly stopped working. A technician came out the next day and determined the compressor had failed. I was shocked because compressors typically can last over 20 years. After doing some research I come to find out that this is a widespread problem with LG and possibly some other brands that use this Linear type compressor. LG knows about the problem, and continues selling this product. To make matters worse, they are or have been installing the same type compressor as a replacement which will likely fail again in a short time.LG - listen this is no picnic when you lose hundreds of dollars of food. I spent over $3,000 for what I was led to believe to be a top quality refrigerator. Though the compressor is under warranty, LG said the labor is not because its 5 years and a few weeks, are you kidding? I am not pleased to have to shell out $550 in labor on top of the cost of the lost food. If this is how you treat your customers, you can rest assure LG will not be my appliance brand of choice.

Few days after purchasing LMHM2017ST, we would hear a squeaky noise from the turntable when on. It seemed just slightly bothersome then and so live with it.A few months later, numbers on the touch keypad stopped working one by one. Now most of them dont work. Also many other buttons are not working. The fan and light buttons are also not working causing these features not be available anymore. Next, another issue cropped up - the microwave switches on, on its own, as soon as the door is opened. So there are now multiple problems in a short duration of gentle use. I called LG customer service but they offered to send someone to fix these issues for a charge of $185 + tax. They would give only 60 days warranty and only on the services performed. They will not guarantee on anything else. It seems they know that there can arise even more problems in future. I bought this microwave because it looked good but other than that it turned out to be a crappy and expensive unit (over $500). I will not buy anything LG in future.

I purchased an LG washing machine in 2011. At the time of its purchase, the machine started to produce oil like stains on the clothes. I tried several detergents and purchased several different types of tub cleaners to no avail. After 6 months of repeated stains, I called the Sears technical department to complain about the situation. A technician was sent out to my house to provide preventive maintenance. Upon arrival, I indicated that the machine did not require its yearly maintenance but rather a repair. The technician indicated, after looking at the machine, that he could not detect a deficiency with the machine. He did acknowledge that the stains were coming from the machine. Several calls to the technical department, the customer service department, and an in store visit to Sears to discuss the way forward with an area manager has proven to be futile. I still sit with a machine that produces oil stains on my clothes. I have incurred enormous costs having to throw away clothes because they are no longer fit to wear. I am now considering purchasing another machine, and I have stopped purchasing anything from Sears purely out of principle.

Buyer beware! Rust develops in the top housing of LG washers, starting at the bleach dispenser. It does not matter if you use the dispenser or not, rust will eventually develop there, and elsewhere, on the top and lid of the machine. Eventually rust flakes will get in your wash leaving whites dingy. There is no fix for this problem. It is a result of poor craftsmanship. A class action lawsuit was filed and LG won claiming user problem. Odd how the regular use of their product would be a problem that causes rust. Do not take my word for it alone- search “LG washer rust” and read about loads of frustrated consumers with rust problems starting in the bleach dispenser area, in some cases rusting out altogether. Buyer beware!

We purchased our $3,000 fridge at Sears in 2016 before they went out of business. While it is a Kenmore sold by Sears, it is actually a fridge built by LG for Sears. So the fridge is basically 4 years old and the freezer has stopped working. With Sears bankruptcy, I have no warranty. I understand that, but LG is unable to provide a qualified service agent that is still in business. All service agents I have called have indicated that LG is proprietary and I need a LG technician. Purchased LG French Door fridge in March 2016. Compressor went out while on vacation June 2017. Out of Warranty, we purchased extended warranty. Made a call on Monday, repairman came on Wednesday - diagnosed with compressor issues - even said we were lucky to get a year out of the fridge. He had no compressor on the truck - although its the most common problem. Friday, we contacted LG service again to get a time frame of repair. (We had company visiting from across the country.) They said they had to contact repairman. Repairman had not been able to make the report to warranty company because the line was always busy when he called. Their response was, we have to report this to our higher department. It will take 1-2 business days to get a resolution. (That meant a minimum of 3 days due to it being Friday.) Looks like we will be without a fridge for a minimum of 2 weeks... Never had an issue this frustrating.

Bought a LG Dryer and washer combo in April 2015 and I am so disappointed in myself in doing so. Since I bought it I am having issues with dryer. The clothes catching the lint filter since day 1 and it has ruined so many of my clothes. I have done small loads, big loads, using protective nets for bras and fine pieces of clothing and nothing helped so far, I have not complained yet and I just dealt with it and threw the twisted clothing pieces in the garbage, every time it happened but this morning when I woke up and found the entire load of my summer clothes twisted in a giant rope look a like this brought me to an edge. The dryer filter will not completely seal and it has caught clothing on the corner and it twisted it until every piece of clothing was ruined and even opened the door of the dryer on its own. I did not where to start to unwind the clothes, this is terrible. I will NEVER, EVER buy an LG product again EVER. I was so in shock and started unwinding clothes without thinking to take a picture of that terrible sight.

I bought a front loading LG washer. It was one of the more pricey washers. Ive had it for 3 years and now it sounds like a 747 airplane is landing in the laundry room - LOUD grinding in spin cycle. The cost to replace this out of warranty is astronomical as it is a tub and bearing replacement. I posted this to the LG website for reviews and they sent me back an email saying the review did not meet their standards. I guess that is because it was a poor rating?? LG WT1101CW Top load washer - I purchased this washer January of 2014. I read the reviews in consumer reports and that is how I came to purchase this washer. My issue with it is that I feel it has more control over me than I do over it. It uses less water and does not saturate the items and because it uses less water, when you add chlorine bleach it leave chlorine fade marks on white wash as well as a darker wash. This has happened many times and a lot of my items were ruined. I do not believe that Consumer Reports tested this issue on clothing. I have also had to rewash my clothing because the dirt just didnt come out. I currently have sent LG an email with regard to this issue. Today, I just purchased a Kenmore with an agitator and it has a water level that I can choose. Although it is 3.6 cf as opposed to 4.3 cf. submitted by serial number. The LG ice maker design is flawed (LG Refrigerator LFX25975ST103). I purchased the item new from Home Depot in 2010 and luckily with an extended service contract. Initially, the problem was the water dispenser. The dispensing button stuck and flooded the kitchen before I could get an LG representative on the phone. The ice maker would not function and was replaced after numerous service calls between September 2010 and January 2011. It has never functioned properly, always crushing most of the ice. This leads to a crushed ice dam that forms in the door. Eventually, one must clean out this mess. After being a slave to service calls in 2010, I decided to utilize my Home Depot extended warranty and attempt once more to have ice from this very expensive investment.A crack existed in the ice hopper and a very talented serviceman came to my home, analyzed the problem, and ordered a new ice hopper. The part arrived last week and since then, the same problem has existed. Now, I am unable to remove the ice hopper due to the ice dam in the door. This entire problem is due to the design. We keep the temperature in our home at just under seventy degrees year-round. When the left door is opened, the vents between the main refrigerator body and the door allow warmer air to enter the ice maker. The flap door that opens to allow ice to eject also allows warm air to enter due to the long length of the trap door opening, 5 seconds. This allows some melting of the ice that is trapped and crushed in the hopper to melt then re-freeze in the blades. Then the damming cycle begins once again.

LG front load washer is four years old. I got an LE message then the machine wouldnt run, so I called for service. Stainless Steel drum has lifetime warranty. The motor has 7-year warranty. The service technician was on the phone with LG for about an hour, apparently trying to understand the Pakistani man. The end result was $700 to repair the drum and motor and replace the plastic drum around the inner drum, which of course has no warranty, and about 5 hours labor to tear it all apart. It doesnt matter what model. It is a $1,000 washer that should not need $700 in repairs in four years. This is the very last LG product that is ever purchased at my house. If I could have given it zero stars, I would have.

I bought a whole house full of LG appliances after a house fire in 2010. None of my items went into use until June of 2011. In the summer of 2017 my ice maker in my lfx31925st stopped working and I did a troubleshoot online and tried everything it showed. I contacted LG and was told that they sell products with disposable parts on them and that in this time span it is not uncommon for this item to need repair. I was shocked that my $2800 fridge would be considered by the company to basically be made of disposable parts. This was just the start of my troubles. About two months after this my freezer fan became very loud and I noticed my frost free freezer had a ton of ice in the back. I defrosted this but it kept happening and soon my freezer had stopped working and I had soup for ice cream and much unthawed meat. The fridge part still works somewhat if I keep only small amounts of items in there but I am unable to keep it well stocked as it will get to warm. I get from LG that I am no longer under warranty and there is nothing they can do. All I can say to anyone is stay away as this is not my only issue with LG.

LG is not a brand I would recommend to anyone. Apparently the unit we purchased, a top loader inverter has issues with drainage after a short period of time. The washer is unbearably smelly. After going thru the manual and reading all the complaints online after the fact, we have not found a solution for a practically new washer. Oh, and our purchase records are apparently lost. So of course their only solution is to contact service and pay to have their known issue fixed. I will never purchase LG again. Have not had issues with other vendors like I have had with this one. If anyone has seen this issue and corrected, I would love to hear your solution.

This microwave is really a nice item to have and is very easy to use. All the items you can use in a microwave is overwhelming and a welcome use to the kitchen from melting butter to making a bake potato in a microwave. Great cooking item.

The refrigerator was ordered at Home Depot. I was contacted by LG directly that the product was on backorder and that they would not meet the delivery time frame. Two weeks later they called again to state that the specific refrigerator that I ordered was not available and discontinued. The offered a different refrigerator that did not meet the size specifications that were most important to me. When I stated the three specs that were mandatory to me - they basically said - This is what we can offer and thats it. They did not offer any other options. POOR customer service and even though they upgraded with one option that I did NOT want (wi-fi) the size is smaller, the product is disappointing. The refrigerator will either freeze produce or it turns to rubber. It does not maintain the quality of refrigerated products. I will not order another LG product as a result. The filter also only lasts 4 months - before having to be replaced. Freezer items get frostburn and ruins the quality of the product.

My dishwasher stopped working a few years ago. The dishwasher was only one year old. I had it repaired and I have never had a problem since then. I also learned to clean and maintain it myself. To have a happy dishwasher and a happy dishwasher owner, try to clean your dishwasher after each use. By the way, I only used hot water and degreaser in cleaning this and now it washes better than it ever has.

I purchased an LG gas range from Best Buy approximately 18 months ago. I have recently discovered the knobs have been well-documented as dangerous and we have had to replace all on our own. This complaint is regarding sparking on burners out of the blue! Sunday evening, my husband and I heard a clicking noise and when I entered the kitchen, the stove burners where sparking! The only way it would stop was to pull the stove out from the wall. Still sparking, it was unplugged and we turned off the gas. LG came out today and has no idea what caused this and doesnt know what to do about it. I was told to call them if it happens again. Thats if we are home and, God forbid, not asleep. This is so dangerous!
