If you want clean clothes dont buy this machine(Cabrio Washer)! First of all I find that my clothes have dry spot on them when I pull them out of the machine. Whirlpools response is that the machine spins at such a high rate that the cloth will actually seem dry. Doesnt make sense to me that a shirt that has another garment on top of it gets dry in an unexposed area. I have also been told to always use the high water setting. This helps but the clothes still are not clean. Also my dark slacks come out with residue lines on them - Whirlpools solution; never wash anything in cold water. In addition the machine is very noisy. It sounds like the water pipes are being kicked out of the wall. And forget about washing a king size comforter as advertised, a twin comforter doesnt get clean or even thoroughly wet and residue lines are left behind. Hate this machine! So glad I didnt buy the extended warranty since my attempts to have them stand behind this product have failed. I feel the money would be better used towards a different brand.

Extremely quiet machine. I love that the silverware wrack is situated across the front of the door giving plenty of space for lots of silverware. This leaves even more room in the already large washing area for pots, pans, dishes, bowl, glassware & more.

Bought a Whirlpool refrigerator December 2011, it is now 3 yrs. old, keeps shutting itself off. There is nothing under the troubleshooting area of the instructions for this. I called Whirlpool, they said I have to pay a tech to come here and troubleshoot. The warranty is 1 years, so after paying over 1k for an appliance, that gets you 1 year! I try to support American made, but no more Whirlpools here! I have all Whirlpool appliances, but Im guessing they wont last either. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service.

Whirlpool Cabrio 6600 SW2 - Somehow a coin or two (?) are under the tub. It is not a high pitched sound. Just sounds like the machine is rubbing against the tub or something when it is being used. It does an excellent job of washing and spin drying the clothes, but the noise irritates my wife, which then irritates me. I took the top piece off and can see a coin DOWN there, but cannot reach it. Must I turn the machine upside down and try to shake the coin(s) out?

I purchased my Whirlpool microwave model WMH2175XVS-2 in March 2011. The magnetron went bad 3 years and 1 month later. Thats only 37 months! Whirlpool is very sorry but of course the warranty is expired! Oh by the way, I replaced a microwave that lasted 10 Years which was a second microwave (which is still going after 15 years).

I called to find out if they could assist me with my dishwasher. It is 1 year and 3 weeks old. The start button will not switch on the machine. The only way they would assist me is if I would pay the full cost of repair because it is 3 weeks out of warranty! There are no other suggestions. I would have met them half way with paying half the bill but I got nothing but Im sorry and we cant help. They dont stand behind their product.

LEDs on control panel started going out in four months. It’s a 400$ part. Under warranty but what’s going to happen in another four months? The range I had from the eighties was still working. You don’t get what you pay for anymore. Just excuses.

The washer does clean simple stains. The clothes end up all twisted (sleeves & pant legs). Antiperspirant gets transferred to dark clothing. Large loads do not get clean and the response from Whirlpool was run everything on hot and for longer than normal times. The enviro rating and low water usage claim has resulted in a machine that does NOT fully clean clothes. Look elsewhere and do not buy.

My side-by-side refrigerator leaks water. I find water on the floor but we cant find the source. When I called Whirlpool, they stated its not under warranty, but we can schedule a repair appointment, I declined. Im still looking for the leak. Its intermittent, sometimes I dont see water for a while. The last fridge we had, we had to get rid of it because the sides and front got too hot to the touch. I was afraid it would cause a fire.

I bought my Whirlpool over the range microwave WMH32L19AS November 28, 2015. We started having problems with it, working intermittently one year later. I called Whirlpool in January 2017 and they told me it was out of warranty and it would cost $150.00 for a repair person to just look at it. I decided to just keep using the microwave because I only paid $232.00 for it and I figured after parts and labor if would probably cost over $200.00 to fix it. I called Whirlpool back in June because the microwave wouldnt shut off and even kept running when you opened the door. Whirlpool sent out a repair person at no cost to fix it. But the repair person told me Whirlpool only paid for him to diagnose the problem. I had to pay for the repair. After working on the microwave and replacing sensors and fuses he determined the microwave irreparable. I called Whirlpool back and they just told me that my microwave is 1 1/2 years old and they were not responsible after 1 year and I should have bought the extended warranty. I will never buy another Whirlpool appliance again.

I purchased a Whirlpool duet front load washer on 21 Apr 10 and it has experienced a major failure. It needs a new rear tub and basket, and the parts alone costs $700. The machine is barely four months out of warranty. After a lengthy conversation with a Whirlpool customer service representative, I was told that without an extended warranty, they were very sorry and there was nothing that they could do for me.

Had washers model # WTW8500DCO repaired after being install for 14 days. Have had washers repaired every 90 plus days because of constant electrical and mechanical failures. Would not ever buying another whirlpool appliance to my worst enemy. Customer service is a total failure. If you ask a question after talking with you for 5-8 minutes and they dont have an answer they start saying HELLO, HELLO? I have to hang up. I cant hear you. Just a really sad business. Stay away!

Two years ago, I bought your new stove. It was under warranty. The computer is messed up. They came and they did not fix it. Warranty is off. It hasnt worked right since I got this stove. Who is going to make it right? Its only two years old. Fr2 v comes on when turn on. Oven have to turn power off to get it to work. This stove sucks.

I purchased the Whirlpool washer with the expectation of having at least clean clothes. In fairness, I do wash some pet items but they are done separately. My clothes at time come out dry in spots because theyve not been touched with water. Forget the balancing issue. What I will have to do is wash, rinse, and repeat. This will be my life until I can get a new washer. Never again Whirlpool.

I purchased a small dorm size fridge from Target after our electric went off and was gonna be off for a while and we purchased this to run with a generator and its 110 power also but this is a super little fridge and I would definitely would buy again.

We purchased what we thought was a top of the line, high quality washer and dryer, Whirlpool WTW7800XWO approximately a year and a half ago. It has the glass top with a plastic frame, which has just cracked at the hinge location. I went online to read reviews and then called the Whirlpool Customer Service number, 1-800-253-1301 for assistance. I was thinking after reading the reviews that this should be a simple recall type discussion; however, I got completely the opposite! I asked if this was a common problem and the response I got was, Well, we have had people sit on them, stand on them and fall on them, so they have broken for all kinds of reasons! I was flabbergasted! Of course, I was then told it was out of warranty but he could sell me a new one for $219.38 plus tax plus shipping for a grand total of $261.17. It is clear that Whirlpool does not allow their employees access to the complaint line. This must be kept top secret because the only people that know are the thousands of people that have called in to complain, and once you listen to a complaint, you are fired so you cant hear another one and figure out this is a common problem the consumers are getting screwed on! Every appliance in my house is a Whirlpool and the first to go was the washer after 11 years, which is when we bought this new set. When we have to replace the rest, dishwasher, fridge, etc., it will definitely not be Whirlpool unless they do something about known problems and help the consumer out, especially in an economy like this because bare minimum word of mouth advertising is the worst kind to have! I will now see if someone from Whirlpool reaches out to me or not! In the meantime, I will go to Change.org and sign the petition, never again to purchase a Whirlpool product!

I purchased my first Whirlpool washer in 1959 and have been true to the brand since. This was a big mistake when I bought the WTW4950XW0. At first I thought it was the learning curve on my part with the new technology. The very first wash load was dry on the top layer....never got wet. Then there was the blinking red light .....you could never leave the room and expect it to continue to do anything. One solution I found was to unplug the washer....wait 30 seconds and plug in and follow with lifting the lid and then close the lid followed by holding the start button down for several seconds. This worked sometimes.Very noisy....sounds like a plane taking off after the gears shift and lots of clicking and a long pause to have the water to enter the washer. I have run out of patience. I am going to buy another washer today. I called Whirlpool twice for advice and they offered none but a high dollar repair and no compensation for the lemon I had in my home. Enough is enough.

I bought a Whirlpool Dishwasher, Model No. GU3600XTVY in July 2010 for $844.30. In August 2011, it failed to clean dishes. The repairman said it needed a new heating element and computer board which costs $319.92. Today, he installed the new parts and it still wont heat the water! Now he wants to take it in to the shop to check the wiring.My previous Dishwasher was a low quality builder-installed GE that lasted 16 years without repair. If we Americans accept that 1 year is an acceptable life span for consumer products, we will continue to have this type of trash sold to us. Made in America is now the product you dont want to buy.

After 14 years of good service with Whirlpool Duet front load washer dryer set, wife chose Whirlpool kitchen appliances as part of a kitchen update project. All matching fridge, range, microwave hood and dishwasher. What a nightmare! The icemaker growls and whines all the time and the dishwasher was broken before being packaged at the manufacturer. A wheel from the middle rack was missing when the dishwasher was opened. It wasnt in the sealed dishwasher nor in the box. So it had to have been broken off before the item was boxed. We called for warranty claim and A-1 Appliance was recommended out of Shreveport, LA. In a few weeks he showed up, looked at the rack for a while and said Ill have to order a new part. I said fine. (How hard can that be? Right?) So here we are 5 months later, unable to use the middle rack because it cant hold any weight with the roller missing. Multiple calls to Whirlpool and A1 and we keep getting promises and runarounds that turn out to be lies. How hard is it to say go to your local Lowes and well authorize them to give to give you a rack from an in-stock dishwasher? Let Lowes wait on the new part! Sounds simple, and any other company would have done that, or told us to return it to Lowes for another one. But NO! Whirlpool just whines about being behind on parts, shorthanded, or lies about the part is in and its A1s problem now.So, today, same story. A1 says they need 2 parts. **! Its one part. Whirlpool says A1 has the needed part. Same old runaround. So, we just replaced our 14 year old washer and dryer with NON Whirlpool units. $2500 more in of appliances that Whirlpool could have gotten, but Im guessing they dont even care about missing and losing sells. They certainly do not care about warranty, parts, quality, customer satisfaction or repeat customers. Never again with Whirlpool! Beware!

I bought a Whirlpool gas hot water heater in 2005. In the first 12 months I replaced either 4 or 5 thermocouples and a total of between 15 and 20 from the time I bought it in 2006 and 2012. Only 1 time did the company replace one of them. When I would call them the rep would say things like, There may not be enough ventilation or Was it installed by a licensed technician? The 1 time they did take care of a problem the technician they sent out said NOTHING was wrong with the ventilation or the way it was installed. Oh yea, Customer Service told me that they did me a FAVOR (exact word) when they did that.In 2012 the hot water heater went out for good. The company would NOT do anything about it. I took it back to Lowes where I got it and they replaced it for me since the manufacturer wouldnt. The new hot water heater went out after only 3 years. I turned the hot water on and it was not getting hot so I checked the hot water heater to see what was going in. I found the pilot was burning, but the burner was not burning. I turned the water heater off and and checked everything out. When I tried to relight the water heater, guess what? It will not light. I am now being told that this heater has NO warranty, this 3 year old heater. There is MORE but I wont go into that now. Just know this has been the WORST product and the WORST company I have ever had any dealings with, PERIOD!!!

When we bought our house the Matching set of Whirlpool Cabrio Platinums came with it as they were new. I decided to keep them and sell my LG Troms.Absolutely the worst mistake was keeping these Whirlpools. Who in their right mind would consider a washer with no agitator a washing machine? The clothes just sit and do nothing. They don’t get clean at all. Its a complete pile of useless junk and the person or persons who engineered it shouldn’t even be in charge of designing birdhouses.Whirlpool themselves should be ashamed to put out such a pile of garbage to the consumer. Our house came with all new Whirlpool appliances and we are going to replace them all and never give Whirlpool a look again. Whatever you do don’t fall for the shiny unit, slick salesmen. Because all youre going to get with Whirlpools washer is all talk and zero action. Thanks for the not so clean clothes Whirlpool. The local laundry mat thanks you when I need to actually clean my clothes.

We purchase a Whirlpool washer model # WTW5000DWI, SERIAL #C842 43102 ON 10/30/2019 and it has been nothing but a disappointment. We are senior citizens living on a very limit income with several health problems, and cannot go to a washeteria to wash our clothes. We had a washer that lasted over 19 years and when the motor failed I figured it was more practical to purchase a new washer versus repairing this old one. We had a very reputable Whirlpool dealer here and was very helpful and recommended this washer and the price was in our budget! Was that a big mistake, it does not clean the clothes, does not rinse the clothes with using the 2 rinse cycle and still, does not rinse a load of sheets. I bought a large capacity washer so we could wash 2 sheets at a time. Wrong! You cannot get more than a couple inch of water on the Deepwater cycle, so its like washing clothes on a riverbank on rocks, it rubs clothes together. On my wifes good clothes it will cause little balls of fabrics on them, clothes does not smell clean, and if its real dirty clothes, it will not clean or take the stains out. Its water efficient alright, it does not use any water!Its for sale, and I have talked to a lawyer. Whirlpool customer service was no help at all/All they want was to send a dealer to check it out, the only problem if there is nothing wrong with it that will cost me min. of $125.00. Warranty will cover a manufacturing defect, not a design problem which is what this is. I will just go to small claims courts and get my money back and be done with Whirlpool, hell they dont care! I would buy any washer that is cheaper and has an agitator, without a water efficient features and is top loaded model. It does not pay in this world where large manufacturing companies dont care.

We bought the dishwasher on 12/28/11. It broke 4 weeks later. I had the company come out to fix it. 6 months later, it broke again, needed a whole new control board. 3 months later, it broke again, they came out and did some type of repair. 7 months later, it broke again and it needed a whole new control board. They wanted to charge us $250.00 for this, but after some major arguing in regards to how New this was and the warranty now out, they waived the fee. 3 weeks later, the same problem as before! I am so angry about this lemon of a dishwasher! They are coming out again today! I am quite sure they will need to replace the control board again! I will never buy another Whirlpool product.

Purchased new from Best Buy for over $1000. One or two months after the warranty expired the ice through the door malfunctioned, would only spit out crushed all over the floor then clog up. Didnt bother to repair it, just open the freezer. Next, the door would not seal right and frost builds up in my frost free. Also, the ice delivery wont close tight. Now the unit is about 3 years old and I just finished paying it off and all the door shelves are cracking. Contacted Whirlpool and was told by email politely, Too bad. You are out of warranty, but please buy parts from us and say nice things about Whirlpool because we so value our customers. Never will buy Whirlpool again and recommend you DONT.

This is our 3rd repair in 13 months and now my 4 and 1/2 year old son and I both suffered bacterial food poisoning on this 3rd round. It has been a complete nightmare. Then we found out until last month, they were completely replacing the entire refrigerator. Then they stopped that and are just replacing the parts again. Now there is a back order of the parts and not to put any food in there or we will get sick again. The repair itself will take 4 hours whenever they get the parts in and another 1/2 day to take off work. We are building a house and have bought the entire gold series line of crap that is sitting in boxes in our garage. NOW WHAT WHIRLPOOL?

Whirlpool Dryer Model WED4815EWO and Whirlpool Washer W10682799 - I have always had great results with Whirlpool products. Both are energy efficient and save on operating costs. I purchased them three (3) months ago. The washer locks during the wash cycle. That took a little getting used to. I have always been able to rely on Whirlpool products. The top loading washer (W10682799) is energy efficient and high capacity. It regulates the water level so you dont have to worry about wasting water. The matching Dryer (WED4815EWO) has a sensor to regulate your drying time or it can be manually set. I appreciate the worry free, self-regulating functions on both the washer and the dryer.

I have a Whirlpool Cabrio washer (Model: wtw6400sw2 / Serial Number: cu0271913) and I am very disappointed with it. The spin cycle is the worst--sounds like a jet engine and gives me the UL error message of unbalance load. The machine was purchased in 2007 but was kept indoors. I contacted customer service and they advised me to contact the repair service in my area to get a diagnostic analysis of the issue. Hello! I already know what the problem is after reading all these reviews! I cannot tell you how pissed off I am. I will never purchase anything Whirlpool and I will contact BBB as soon as possible. I bought a new house 2.5 years ago with all new whirlpool appliances. This week Im told the washer transmission is defective. Unbelievable! I only wash 4 average loads per week. This is a problem I would expect in 8-10 years. I am going to replace the unit with another brand.

I had a perfectly good Kenmore range, but I didnt like the color. I purchased a Whirlpool 30-inch gas range at Lowes. I had problems immediately! The repairmen were at my house 6 times within the first year. My warranty expired and they wanted me to pay for an extended warranty. I refused to pay any more for this piece of junk! I fought with Whirlpool and demanded they either replace the range or reimburse me the full cost. They finally agreed, after many heated conversations, to replace or reimburse me as long as I promised not to purchase a Whirlpool product again. What kind of company would say that? A company that knows their product is defective and has poor customer service. I opted to take the new range that they promised wouldnt have the same problems. It is having the same issues as the original one. It shuts off in the middle of cooking and it is infuriating to say the least. I can promise Whirlpool I will never purchase a product from them ever again!

I just purchased a brand new home. I have an electric wall oven with the microwave over the oven. They are both built into the wall. Can anyone tell me why a massive amount of steam is coming out. It is really bad it makes my microwave glass so bad I can see through it. It is also making my cabinets so wet I have to use a towel to dry them. Plus I got a steam burn. Can someone tell me if this is normal.

Im very satisfied with the looks and performance of my Whirlpool dishwasher, it is quiet enough that I put it on to wash before going to bed. It is that quiet. Im not happy about the way it was installed, but that is no fault of the dishwasher or Whirlpool, it works great even though it sits kind of crooked in the cabinet. The dishes are always sparkling clean and dry when it is done washing.

I have had the machine pair (Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum) for almost 4 years and up until a few months ago I LOVED the washer. I was advised when I bought the machine to make sure to read the manual, which was very helpful in learning to use it properly. I have never had residue on my dark clothing or ever had the clothes come out partially dry. I use liquid HE detergent nothing powder goes in the machine. I also read many reviews before buying it and a got some advice from them. I have washed king size comforters with no problems. Everything has always cleaned very well. The only issues I have are that when bleach was used in a previous cycle. Ive had a problem with the bleach not being fully dispensed and ending up in the next load. Fortunately it was just towels and not darks!!! Although, I had just bought the towels and now they look tie died which was very upsetting to me. I learned to add water to the bleach dispenser to dilute it and that issue seemed to dissipate. BUT NOW... I COULD THROW A TANTRUM. I PAID 1800+ FOR THE PAIR AND THE WASHER IS SHOT!!! A pretty common problem with the Cabrio from what Ive read. It started by making a very loud noise when spinning, like a helicopter was landing in my laundry room! I continued using it, I even thought the sound was getting better after I did the clean cycle. The last load I did would not complete the cycle because it kept reading that it was unbalanced and unfortunately it was a load of heavy wet towels. I was far from happy when I had to remove them and go to a Laundromat. Needless to say its the bearings and to fix its very costly. I cant even fathom that a less than 4 year old machine needs to be repaired and the cost is roughly half of what I paid for it!!! I do know I will NEVER buy another Whirlpool. What happened to making things to last??? Next machine I will definitely get extended warranty. I can honestly agree with all the other reviews... THIS MACHINE IS HORRIBLE!!!

We bought a new Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum washer and dryer in July of 2014. We were continually finding wet areas in our clothes after they were supposed to be dry. We finally called Lowes where we purchased the set. We had bought Whirlpool appliances about 10 years ago and were pleased with the product as we never had any problems. Lowes sent a service technician on September 12th who checked out the dryer and told us there was nothing wrong with the dryer, but the vent was unsatisfactory (he was from A&E Appliance Repair). He said there was nothing he could do and charged us around $148 for the 14 minutes he was here. We checked out the vent and found it to be working satisfactorily, but we continued finding wet areas on the clothes that were supposed to be dry. We continued to call Lowes and finally spoke to Amy at their Headquarters Customer Care Dept. with no positive results. We then called Whirlpool, and they sent someone who replaced the steam dryer valve which he said was leaking in November (it took another month to get this part). It is now January of 2015, and we are still experiencing wet spots on our clothes even worse than before!

It was about 6 years after purchase that the ice maker completely quit making ice. To change the filter you have to get down on your hands and knees to do so. If youre elderly, this can cause a problem. Overall, it was a good refrigerator.

I have not had any issues with my washing machine yet as I have only had it for two and a half years. The features the machine offers are good and there are many options. So far the washing machine has worked as advertised / expected.

The stove is only 5 years old. The oven would not ignite. The gas was getting through, but theres no flame. Sears repaired it and put a complete flame and ignitor piece at a cost for a part of $132.00. I feel the stove is too new to have to replace anything. I am retired, so I do not use the oven often. I have only cleaned the oven one time in five years. It is very clean. I picked this stove out and paid $900.00, because I liked the style and everything about it. I feel you should look into this, and I should not have to pay for repairs in such a short time of ownership. The repair person said this stove already had an upgrade in it. Please respond. Does the whole heating element need replacing or just the ignitor?

I want to make this clear I’d give NO stars if I could!! Whirlpool is totally junk!! I bought a whole suite of Whirlpool kitchen appliances from Home Depot that is a dishwasher, stove, and fridge. The dishwasher never cleaned the dishes, always left a film on everything, cant clean out the drain area, the screens don’t come off and less a year later the dishwasher top rack literally fell off and broke all the glasses that were loaded in it and the fridge keeps freezing all my food!!! I keep having to adjust the thermostat up down up down just to make it doesn’t freeze. Now that the warranty is no good on any of the crap I will no doubt be charged an arm and a leg to get it fixed, which definitely won’t be worth it!!! Whirlpool is such crap!!! Made in America no wonder!!! Don’t buy any whirlpool anything!!! You will be very VERY disappointed!!! I’ve bought plenty of brand new appliances. Bosch is by far the best dishwasher even the cheaper ones. Now I have to pay to dispose the whirlpool crap!!! I am sure whirlpool doesn’t give a crap though!!! I purchased the Whirlpool Quiet Partner II dishwasher, Model DU1055XTVQ0, Serial # FY3762359. The racks are cheaply made and rusting! Almost all of the tips on the racks are rusting, causing them to corrode and break off completely! This dishwasher is well under 5 years old. Not sure what we paid for this machine but the racks should not be doing this after this short length of time. They shouldnt be doing this after any length of time.I called Whirlpools customer support center today and was told there is nothing they could do. The support agent asked if I had hard water, if so, that could be causing the problem (I dont have hard water). The agent stated that they do not cover rusting racks nor would they replace them, now I see why. They are expensive to replace. As of now, I will not be buying another Whirlpool appliance - ever! They just lost a dissatisfied customer due to their very poor quality and customer service.

We purchased KitchenAid Model YKESS907SS05 Electric Range from Appliance Canada April 2012, just before we took possession of our new home. We began using the range in July of that year and it worked well until September 11, 2014. At that time we decided to use one of the features of the range which is the self-clean feature. During which the control panel failed and our oven ceased to work.We contacted Appliance Canada and they suggested a technician come to assess. We called the suggested number and they send a technician that was not Whirlpool certified and we had to pay out of pocket for the visit $158. He did absolutely nothing during the visit. We then called Whirlpool Canada and they informed us that he was not Whirlpool certified and to call Appliance Canada, we immediately called Appliance Canada and made arrangements to have certified technician come to assess. Whirlpool Canada also indicated at that time that the board that failed was still under warranty and we should not have to pay. September 22nd the second technician came to assess the situation, used tape to cover the front blowing air duct so as not to have the hot air blow back onto the control panel. This was a temporary fix, they ordered a control panel in the interim that they would then use to replace. The control panel came in October the 22nd, was replaced and the new board was faulty, put old one back in and re-ordered another board. The part was on back-order. By mid November, after numerous calls, we called Whirlpool directly. They authorized that the technician to get the part from another supply source. On November the 26th, technician came back - tried new board could not get it to work, left it with us and ordered additional parts. At that time the technician who was taking the case had a family emergency and would not be able to come back out until the new year. Subsequently, Appliance Canada authorized a new company to resume our work with a new technician (Toronto Appliance). He came out December the 17th, with the board that was left behind, he was able to get the oven working. December the 22nd while in the middle of cooking a meal, the oven failed again. We called Appliance Canada and they had a Technician scheduled to come December the 24th from Toronto Appliance. However, on December the 23rd the oven resumed working. The Technician came on the 24th but because the oven was working again could do nothing. On December the 31st, while dinner was in for guests, the oven failed yet again. We called Appliance Canada, yet again, and they scheduled another visit with a new control panel and additional board. The technician arrived again today, January the 28th, and could not get the stove working. He was instructed to order an additional part and we are to wait another 2 weeks. In total, we have been waiting for 4 and a half months, we have also been told that we were not to have used the self-clean as this causes these types of problems. Why is it offered, in addition, Whirlpool has not supported our direct calls, nor authorized the replacement of a product, that for all intents and purposes, is faulty. We have had no success in the resolution of this issue nor support to reach a resolution from all parties involved. I would suggest not buying any product from those involved as their lack of support for their product is appalling.

I own a Cabrio Whirlpool washer. It already had several repairs and never got my wash clean. I complained to the company, no results. This washer is not even a year old. Why will they not stand behind their products?

The machine purchased in 2011, 3 years old, will cost as much to repair as to buy a new one. I got exactly no satisfaction from Whirlpool. They said there is no recall so they wouldnt assist. There are only 2 people in my house, so how could the washer be so junky. What would a large family do? I have spent $140 and wont spend another dime on a Whirlpool appliance.

It never seems to clean the dishes and it runs for 3 1/2 hrs. It is suppose to have all these Features but does a very bad cleaning job. I have used liquid soap, the cascade pods and the jet dry, still gives very poor results. Use to have a Kitchenaid that lasted almost 30 years - great appliance...

I bought this machine in September of 2014. Six months later I HATE IT!! It does NOT get the clothes clean and dont even try to bleach white towels or socks, it doesnt pump the correct amount of hot water and things come out just as dirty as when they went in. It tangles everything together and frequently stops working because it unbalances the load with its lack of water. Ive always been proud of how my familys laundry looked and now Im just embarrassed. Im considering donating this to a human society for dog towels. Stay away from this washer, its horrible. Im going to the laundromat and shopping for a new machine ASAP!

The tub mounts of my 6 years old Whirlpool washer are broken. It’s too expensive to replace. Seems like built in obsolescence! Ive also had mold/odor issues. Finally, I know how to fix that, now this. I just want to warn others, these machines are not designed for the long haul.

Whirlpool washing machine model WCW4950XW2 - We have a barely two year washing machine that we purchased at Best Buy and it no longer drains or spins. After $100 repair call we were told that this is a common problem with this model. It is a transmission problem, and with the way the machine is built a repair person cannot get into the transmission to fix it. He suggested we buy a new washing machine. This is a travesty on so many levels! If whirlpool know it has a problem it should offer a partial refund for the purchase of a newer better machine. I keep thinking about what our landfill in this world look like with the proliferation of appliances that are engineered to last a year or two. I can guarantee you I will never purchase any Whirlpool produce again, and I will research whether other brands are associated with the whirlpool brand before I buy it. Sad that a once good company has gone to hell.

KitchenAid double oven glass exploded during the self-clean cycle. The oven was purchased on 9-20-11 and the glass exploded on 11-30-11 during the first-use of the self-cleaning cycle. The cavity was damaged with dents and shards of glass from the explosion. Unfortunately, the warranty for KitchenAid is replacement of parts and repair only. Nicole, supervisor at Whirlpool, offered to extend the warranty 6 months. Then I was somehow disconnected from the call.

I purchased my Whirlpool refrigerator 8 months ago model # WRF560SEXM which is less than a year old and already Im experiencing problems already. I have owned several refrigerators in the past which were older models and less sophisticated, and all of them lasted well over 10 years with no major issues, so to buy a new refrigerator through Whirlpool and have it malfunction in less than a year is unacceptable. Customers deserves better than this especially at these prices.My malfunction occurred when my ice maker stopped working and the internal temperature stopped working altogether, which caused all my food to spoil which had to replaced which was very expensive which infuriated me more and because my service appointment was a week away. I LITERALLY had to order out for food and purchase ice. And if this happens again I will have replace food and order food out again. WHIRLPOOL dont realize the impact this has on its customers. I would definitely not recommend their refrigerators EVER!!!

First F1 symbol on washer took 6 months to resolve. All we needed was new motherboard and couldnt mail it to us even though we could replace. It had to be an authorized person. Well we had one and they never put him in the system. Finally got that taken care of, 6 months of having to press pause and restart 5 times just to do one load. Arrrrrggggghhhh! Now water leaking out the bottom. Called again, on hold, then on hold again to be transferred to tech support. Yeah, right. No tech support. Talked to management, they could care less about us even though we have other products from them. Dont buy, they are lemons. We had ropes for 15 years and lasted through everything. Thanks Whirlpool, heres to losing a customer!!!!

The side-by-side with the lower freezer was one of my all-time favorite units Ive ever had. The capacity of the interior was expected to be better, particularly the freezer, but it was effective in getting to the items I needed. Storing was good, but the freezer had trays in the upper portion that I could see when looking down, as Im over 6 tall.

After owning the highly recommended Cabrio for only 2 years, I was told it would cost $300 for the motherboard!! I have always used Whirlpool but this machine is terrible. Water saving is not an option when washing clothes. Unless I use the bulky cycle, my clothes come out dry and smell dirty.

Whirlpool refrigerator runs continuously, but doesnt cool. I have to turn it off manually to cool down the motor. I have to run it on the highest number (5), then freezes some things on the top shelf but lower shelves are warm. We need these refrigerators and freezers replaced with different brands of our choice!

I love my Whirlpool Washing machine. Purchased it 2 yrs ago & have not had any issues. Its quiet, large capacity. Washes my clothes very clean. The various washing cycles makes it so convenient to wash as much or as little as I need on any occasion. I do recommend to anyone that you do the cleaning cycle on these new washers to ensure top performance when washing.

Nice looking, prices very fair for quality product. Options are always good. My mom used Whirlpool. That thing that goes in the middle of the old time washer is now gone. That thing would rip or stretch out clothing bras. Anything that was nice it would make it look horrible. Ive had my washer and dryer for 6 years and they still work like new. When shopping for a washer and dryer I do look for capacity, energy efficient and the brand. I prefer to stick to the old school brands just like my mother did. I must admit that I do love the fact that it is an HD high efficiency washer. The deal-breaker would be a low quality construction made a washer or dryer nobody needs to have problems with it. If youre spending that type of money you need to get good quality items.I love my washer and dryer. Theyre both and white color. Its a Whirlpool Cabrio with HD High efficient load energy saver and H2 wash system. The washer has a lid with a see-through glass which I love. My dryer is also a Whirlpool Cabrio steam with a resource saver that gives me a lot of different options as far as my clothing is concerned on how I need it dry.

I purchase the front load, energy efficient brands, low water usage. Love Whirlpool; never had a problem with their appliances. Front load, low water usage, clothes dont sit and spin in dirty water. Dryer has multiple cycles. Perfect for the whole family. My last Whirlpool set last me over ten years, wanted that same quality level in my new purchase. I wanted a quality machine. I was very familiar with the Whirlpool brand and knew that was going to be my first choice in a brand. These were full size. The tub is large enough to hold a king size comforter and wash it without destroying it. The dryer has a separate attachment for pillows and shoes (sneaker plus) and was competitively priced at the time of purchase.

Refrigerator model LFFU17F5HWD - For 2 years it worked, but with problems - always frosting over. I called a service tech and they said it was a common problem, but to find a service tech to come and look at it. The cost for that was $250.00 and still no fix. Now it quit working completely. I was always told by my dad that Whirlpool was the best - maybe true, 30 years ago. I know one thing if I have to buy another refrigerator - it wont be a Whirlpool. You do stand up to your name Whirlpool of trouble. If anyone reads this, please take my advice and do not buy a Whirlpool. I have a washer and dryer thats Whirlpool too. They work but I wont have anything in my house that says Whirlpool on it. Its too bad that they were a great product at one time. Consumer Reports should do something about this company or the BBB. I purchased the Whirlpool Cabrio Washer WT5500XW2 from Lowes on 9/12/2012, which turned out to be the worst purchase of my life. It did ok for over a year. It had always been noisy. Now it sounds like a jet airplane when it is on the spin cycle. This machine is not yet 2 years old. Do not buy a whirlpool washer. They are Junk. Plan on getting rid of this piece of junk and buying a new washer. Dont waste your money on Whirlpool!

I will never buy another Whirlpool again or recommend them to anyone, and discourage anyone from buying one. I bought a Cabrio washing machine just over 2 years ago and yesterday I received an F51 error code. The manual says that this code requires a technician to come a check for repairs. Well, before I do anything I google the problem, and lo and behold there are thousands of complaints about this issue with the Cabrio models. Some saying that what needed to be replaced were a control board ($280) and a rotor (unknown amount), not including the price of labor. Some said that Whirlpool knows about this problem and they covered the parts and repair. This didnt get my hopes up, but I called customer service and of course they said that there were no reported issues with the model and that what I found on the internet was probably an older model. Of course! The lady on the phone told me that they would not cover the costs and it would be anywhere from $300 to $500 depending on the route I wanted to take. That is a 1/3 to 1/2 the price I paid for the machine. This is ridiculous! I am tempted to just get rid of the washer and go with a better company that actually cares about their customers. This error code was definitely something they know is a big deal if there was nothing I could do about it other than call a technician. I paid almost $1000 for a machine that has barely lasted 2 years before I have to pay money to have it fixed. Not a company I would ever purchase anything from again!

Retail price, $3100. Purchased from Sears Outlet for 2/3 of that amount due to dings on a side panel, back and some blemishes on the front. Still sold as new with a new warranty (Good thing!). Ive had full use of the unit for 1 month out of 3 that Ive had it. Freezer stays at a temperature in the mid-20s and, after 4 repair visits, it turns out the compressor is faulty and now Im waiting for the 2nd part to arrive and be installed to see if that corrects the problem. Sears stepped away from the problem saying it will be repaired. Whirlpool has wonderful telephone support that is totally committed to me staying with a faulty appliance until its fixed. My view is that a unit that expensive, should be no problem to replace allowing Whirlpool to take as long as they want to make repairs and re-sell it. But no; their commitment is to keeping the refrigerator in my house and running a service tech back and forth while I continue tossing food that cannot be used.

This is the only time in my life when I have seen a Microwave behave so badly (and one that is relatively expensive). The microwave is defective out of the box. Seems like there is a comWhirlpool MWA269 (4You)mon trend with Whirlpool products and cheap Chinese boards. The microwave never stops working once the timer runs out. It will just keep going. I have enjoyed my stove for 16 yrs, it is very reliable and easy to use. The heating elements work well and heats up quickly. During this time I have not had any repair done. The areas of improvement that needs to be implemented is the inter glass that is installed at the front looking into the oven. In order to clean you have to take the front door off which is very difficult to put back together.

Every time I wash clothes, I get a terrible odor that permeates my home. Ive put in afresh to rid the problem. Ive had a technician take it apart to clean the filter & hose. Nothing helps!! I purchased a brand new Whirlpool Cabrio washer and dryer set not even 2 years prior. When I first started using it, I pulled shirts out of the wash after being ran through and found deodorant marks still on the inside of the shirts. I had to wash all of my loads on heavy soil and still had to run some loads through more than once. The wash machine quit working about 1 month ago, so I had a service man out to look at it. It ended up being the control panel and the part itself was going to cost me $300 and by the time I paid to have it repaired, the total cost was just under $400. The service man proceeded to tell me that Whirlpool had another company actually make the control panels for the Cabrio model and he has serviced several of these washers and when he would repair one part, another part would stop working. I was very upset and bought a new wash machine. I would like to add, I am a single mom with a 2 1/2 year old, so the wash machine was not used excessively in any way. I dont work outside so my clothes are never soiled heavily. Needless to say, my washer was not under warranty so Whirlpool couldnt do anything for me. A wash machine should last longer than less than 2 years. I would not recommend this model to anyone. And for Whirlpool to put their name on such a poor product is very disappointing since I have had good experiences with their products in the past.

For the last 5 years, 3 Whirlpool dishwashers. For these years been tracking to see how long they will work, but it seem like they are not build to satisfy the customer. Many telephone calls to service, but they will use the same lines, Nothing we can do... your extended warranty expired. From now on will look for a different brand.

The front of the stove gets so hot you can burn yourself and I feel it is not safe around small children or grandchildren, and it should addressed to fix the problem not just cover it up. Please give me the info to fix the problem before I have to sue over my grandchildren and great children getting burned.

The ice maker freezes up at least once a week. It requires removing the bin and chiseling the ice away. We have had repair here twice, and it still happens all the time.

Have to keep coins collecting in pump and ruins pump or starts leaking. I feel there is another way it could be solved. I spent enough for this washer. Now I fix that. Now it leaks on discharge hose. Hard to stop it. Like old washer worked lot better all round. Never had that trouble. 4yrs old 1,200.00 plus cost sending somebody out to fix it. Crazy! The bottom of the drawer collects water and freezes and then overflows onto the floor. There is no drain pan under the refrigerator. Then the freezer collects frost over the food, and walls of the freezer. I have to unplug the refrigerator and let it thaw and then plug it back in. This process is repeated every week. I have had it less than 2 years!

On April 10, I bought a Whirlpool washing machine with a sensor. My clothes do not come clean. The dirty spots are still visible. I had three technicians come to check it out and after they just made the machine start, make the water run, and make the water empty, they confirmed that it was working normally. I have insisted on having someone come and just do a small wash and they did not agree because they are not there to wash clothes. I went back to Leon’s where I bought it and the saleslady told me that she could not do anything about it. I have been dealing with the customer service and the person has tried three times to get someone to come and check the washer properly and was insisting in front of me that I wasnt at all satisfied with the performance of the washer and still confirmed that the washer was working fine. They keep saying that there are no parts that need to be fixed or exchanged, so that means there is nothing wrong with the washer. I have tried all different kind of soaps. They were suggesting that I use Tide, which was the best performing soap. I used Tide or Purex - I even tried half a bottle of bleach - and it would not clean my clothes. The problem is the clothes are not turning, they just hardly moved with water that just keeps the clothes humid. I tried putting in more water with a bucket and when I push the start button, it would drain out all the water that it did not put itself. Ive called the consumer protection and they have advised me to take legal actions against the company and the store that sold it to me. They confirmed that whatever we buy, the article has to do the work it was made for; so the performance of a washing machine is to wash clothes. I even took a three-year prolonged warranty and the store told me that once the one-year warranty with the company has expired, then they could help me with sending their technicians and see what the problem was and they would take it from there. I have an account with the store and I have eighteen months to pay it off. So I was wondering if the saleslady did sell me an appliance saying that it was very good and that I should not have any problems with it. Can I take steps going against her for false advertisement? It’s a month now that my clothes are not washed properly and I need to rewash them by hand before putting them out to dry. The consumer protection office has been telling me that the store should be the one to finalize the problem with the company, but it seems that not even they can come to an agreement. Whatever steps I will take against the company and the store, what are my chances of getting my washer replaced? Whirlpool has been advised about me taking them to court and I got permission to do so. Actually, they invited me to go ahead and do what I thought was right. I do not have the money or time to waste on something that maybe I will have no chance to get anywhere. All I want is to have it replaced with another washer that would be more performing. If anyone has had the same problem and had their case solved, maybe it will give me hope to go on. Please, what is the best and fastest way for me to get this problem resolved? I purchased a Whirlpool Duet washer in Jan. 2011 and there has been 3 problems. There has been water leaking, loud/banging noises during the spin cycle, and torn clothing. Technicians have visited 4 times in 7 months. At this point, I forsee more problems in the future. I spoke to a supervisor at Whirlpool and I asked if the washer could be exchanged. I was told, If it is repairable then we will continue to repair it. I was also told that I could purchase an additional 1 or 2 year warranty. A comment like that makes me believe that the company foresees problems in the future as well. A company like Whirlpool should realize that customers should not have to spend time leaving work early or taking off to meet with a technician about an appliance so often or at all! I have owned a washer in the past but it was left when we sold the home and I never experienced any problems!

Whirlpool is a very good company and their products work very efficiently! If I had a choice to choose in a different type of washing machine I don’t think I could choose. Whirlpool is very reliable. Their older machines as well as their newer machines! They last pretty long. The dryer is dry very well as well as the washing machines agitate your clothes to get them clean.

They should all be recalled.

When we moved into our new home in May of 2012 we needed to buy appliances. After much research we purchased all Whirlpool appliances at Lowes. After a year and a half our Whirlpool model WRT5L1SMYFOO failed to freeze or keep items cool. We called Whirlpool and they connected us with a technician who said it would cost more money to fix than buy a new one. He said that we got a bad one. We called Whirlpool again and received no assistance. Refrigerators should last more than a year and a half! I have seen other complaints on this model and have yet to see any proof of restitution from the Whirlpool corporation. This is complete consumer abuse. Some sort of action needs to be taken against Whirlpool. This corrupt behavior is the downfall of our country.

I would like for the public to be aware of an issue I have had with my Cabrio Whirlpool washer and the extended warranty service that Whirlpool sells to customers. My Cabrio washing machine is less than three years old and is an inferior product. The circuit board has gone out on my washer twice. Each time my washing machine breaks, it is out of service for three weeks and I have a family of four people. My washing machine broke down with a major circuit board failure for the second time in three years on January 23rd. I called the extended warranty department at Whirlpool and they sent an incompetent repairman to fix my washer. We are going into week 3 of listening to various stories on why it is taking three weeks to source getting a part overnighted to fix our washer. This man has ordered the wrong parts, says he cant come to us because of weather, cant get the parts, etc...I just got off of the phone with the warranty service after speaking with a supervisor and they tell me they cannot source another repairman and we still have to wait. My questions to corporate office at Whirlpool is how long do you have to wait to get a washer repaired and what type of product and extended warranty are you selling to the public? A very inferior washing machine and a very unhappy customer! I will never buy another Whirlpool appliance! BUYER BEWARE, THIS COMPANY HAS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! THIS IS MY SECOND GO-AROUND AND THE SECOND EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN IDENTICAL TO MY FIRST ONE - TERRIBLE!

In 2099, I purchased a Whirlpool Gold from Lowes. It has never cleaned my dishes, especially the pots and pans. My dishes also have a powder coating on them after various cleaning cycles that I have tried. I have tried every detergent available.The repairman suggested a detergent, which I already tried. He told me that the dishwasher uses only 1.9 gallons of water in total. That confirmed what I thought the problem was, not enough water! It is a design problem that cannot be fixed. I have bought Whirlpool for years but not in the future.

I bought a Whirpool side by side model GSF26C5EXW00 on 4/24 from Lowes in Buford, It was delivered the next day.We followed all the start up directions. You know what a mildewy moldy towel smells like...Well that is what the water and ice smells and taste like coming out of the dispenser. I have had the technician to my house 6 times. the tap water taste good, the water coming out of the line leading to the refrigerator is good. Gee is must be something in the refrigerator! How many times do they have to come out before they actually do something about it? Like replace it or give me my money back.

We bought all Whirlpool Gold Appliances when we re-did our kitchen 5 years ago -- fridge, d. washer, oven, glass top stove, and microwave. Recently I noticed a pool of water in front of the fridge. Turns out there is a sticky grommet problem that prevents moisture from draining into a pan on the inside back bottom of the fridge. Whirlpool will send you a replacement part that is totally different than the original poor design (a long hose affair) BUT wont pay for the labor to put it in unless the unit is less than 2 years old.I watched a video showing how to do it, but it looks pretty tricky and involved plus risky because you can break the drain pan in the process. Spoke with a Whirlpool rep and a supervisor -- both admitted to a quality problem but got nowhere on the labor. Theyre sending the part, and the supervisors supervisor is supposed to give me a call, so well see if they eventually do the right thing and cover the labor. I mean cmon... the parts obvious a bad design, or they wouldnt be sending a totally redesigned part! Covering the labor only if its two years old or less? Even the Whirlpool techs online are saying the problem happens after about 4 years! The grommet gets sticky and wont drain due to heat from the compressor, and that takes time to happen. Ill update this when I hear back from Whirlpool.

From the very beginning the washing machine did not clean the load. It doesnt even get the load completely wet. The best you can hope for is to utilize lots of fabric softeners to at the least make your clothes smell clean because they surely wont be. Dont even get me started on the load lock feature because it serves no purpose other than to drive you batty. When your 15 year old son offers to give you money to buy a new washer after owning the one you just bought there is nothing I could say more profound than that. How Whirlpool stays in business befuddles the mind.

I hate my Cabrio units. Dont waste your money on these machines. I stay frustrated because I have to work so hard doing my laundry. My Whirlpool washer would start up but would not add any water. It sat there doing absolutely nothing. Then it showed a code on the screen. It said to disconnect the power for 1 minute and plug it back in, which I did. I repeated that process several times. Still nothing. It also said to call Whirlpool, which I did. They wanted the Model # WFW97HEXLO and Serial #, I gave it to the gal on the phone at Whirlpool. I was told it would be a week before they could get someone out there to take a look at it. Really!! I work 80 hours a week and live in the country. I dont have a week. When I asked where the service man was coming from, he was coming from another town. I asked if there was someone closer. She gave me another appliance stores phone number. They showed up 2 business days later, looked at my washer, verified the code along with the Model and Serial #s, telling me it was the control panel. I gave that information to them on a Friday, they showed up on a Tuesday. They knew what that code was and what it meant for that make and model washer, but there just had to be a service call in there. The part was ordered on that Tuesday... here it is the following Saturday and the part still isnt here. I do not understand what takes Whirlpool so long to ship the part. Do they not care that in this hustle bustle life we live in, we dont have time to wait for a part that may or may not show up. Ship it overnight. That is an option. Making the parts accessible to the service people in a timely manner would make great customer-service. Better yet, how about going back to the old-style washers. This high-efficiency non-sense is highly expensive.

We have had a Whirlpool dishwasher for about 2.5 years and have been happy with how it cleans dishes. About a year ago we replaced our counter top and in the process had to adjust the bend in the mountain brackets that attach the dishwasher to the underside of the counter. This requires flexing the thin piece of aluminum at the perforated line. In the process, one of the brackets snapped. The other was barely still intact and broke several months later. I tried jerry-rigging them, but eventually decided to replace them and called Whirlpool customer service to ask for replacement parts.Unfortunately, Whirlpool wanted to charge me $10.50 apiece and another $9.00 for shipping and handling. These parts could not cost more than a few cents apiece. I was shocked that they would charge me $30.00 to replace these flawed parts. Never have I had such and experience with any customer service department. The three people I spoke with were all rude and unapologetic about my situation. Two blamed it on the install...Ive installed plenty of dishwashers and never had any problems in the past. Even if it was a failure on my behalf, the simple replacement of the parts for a reasonable charge would have been fine by me. I told them Id be happy to pay a few dollars and to pay the full shipping fee (which was also high, in my opinion), but they refused to meet me halfway. I can only think that this is part of their business plan...make dishwashers with sub-par parts, and then over charge for the replacement parts when they fail. Well, I re-upped my jerry-rigging efforts and have improved the engineering of the faulty part. Save my $30. But Whirlpool will never again get my business and Ill be sure to steer clients and friends away from this brand as well.

The first time the control panel died, Whirlpool replaced the parts. The second time it happened (6 months later), they didnt want to hear from me. The oven worked satisfactorily for about three years and here we are again. It will be about $500 to fix the problem which clearly is not an isolated issue as I have seen this same complaint raised a number of times. Looks like its time for a new gas range. My dilemma is that I have the greatest serviceman who exists... and he only sells and services Whirlpool. But...thanks to Whirlpool, hes probably losing some business.

My Whirlpool Dishwasher Model# DU980QPDP, just quit a few days ago after 21 1/2 years. We paid $554.04 for it back in 1995. It was the top of the line. Quiet, with 4 fold down shelves on the top rack. Silverware basket on the door. Also a separate knife basket on the door. It came with extra interchangeable door panels. When the white ones got dented we changed to the black ones. The racks are still in good condition. Never had one repair on this dishwasher, though I used it every day, sometimes twice a day. It had a 4 year warranty on the control panel and a 20 year warranty on the tub and door. We would have it repaired, but cant get the part.

I purchased a 30 gallon gas hot water heater from Lowes in 2013. Within the first 3 months, it went out. I contacted whirlpool who troubleshot the heater 4 different times. Final contact was in early 2014, I requested a tech to look at the heater. Was informed it is now over a year old, it would be at my cost. Replacement parts $30. Shipping the water heater is great if you like cold showers. After a little searching, I find they know this water heater is junk as does Lowes but dont care.

We have all kitchen appliances from Whirlpool, but it is not what we choose, that was builders choice. We, two people, are living in his apartment for almost five years, and first problem was with oven - the window in the door it is leaking somewhere, then microwave - the all front door plastic is cracking (we using microwave maybe twice a week) and is it placed under the oven. Now we have problems with fridge - the plastic inside the fringe is cracking. We called Whirlpool customer support and Whirlpool do not even want to hear it about the problems - they just want that same authorized technician will came to your apartment to inspect these problems for $95, it is not even important whose fault it is. This company, Whirlpool really DO NOT CARE about the products, which they produce - as long it is sells... Now we know, we made smart decision - do not accept the washer and dryer (we get it from Bosh - it makes me happy). Now we just wait till all Whirlpools appliances will stop working and never ever look back to Whirlpool.

My stove is great. The only thing I would change is one more big eye. Having two big eyes would really help. I also love the oven although I have to pay attention because it heats on the hot side. A cake will be done in 18 min instead of 20 or 25.

I have purchased many Whirlpool ranges for my apartment buildings that I own and operate. They never give me a problem with operation or length of service. I only have to replace them when a tenant does something dastardly to them. My husband and I remodeled our kitchen and we purchased one for our kitchen too!

The door can be slightly open on the model GSC25C4EYY02, and the alarm will not register. Ive come home on too many occasions to find the food no longer at a desirable temperature. Im very bummed about this refrigerator choice. The refrigerator door open alarm is useless.

We have a new home with a Whirlpool gold refrigerator that has been fixed twice in 3 years for not cooling adequately (over 45 degrees), a dishwasher that the mother board has gone out twice with 3 different service calls (repairman recommended trashing and buying a new one), microwave that is rusted out on inside door below glass, and washer with horrid smell if you dont wash with bleach weekly and dryer whose sensor doesnt sense anymore after 2 service calls!!! I cannot believe the poor customer service and lack of responsibility the company has taken on these not inexpensive products!! Like others on this post they will not acknowledge problems and tell me I should have bought extended warranty. I am so angry - there should be some sort of law that allows recourse for such bad behavior!

Have a Whirlpool side by side about a year and a half old. Fridge started getting warm, so when I contacted the Whirlpool co, they informed me and sold me a year warranty to cover what the problem is and anything that would go wrong in the next year. The warranty is through Assurant. After contacting them, I found out they could not have a repairman out for another week. Wasnt happy, but nothing I could do. They found out the compressor was bad, ordered the part which showed up the next day, but could not come out to install it for another week. Getting more upset. Put it in and my fridge was hotter than before. Called and they could not have anyone out for (you got it) another week. The new compressor was bad. Ordered a second one, came the next day, and they put a rush on the repair so I only had to wait 4 days this time. Guess what, it still does not work. Had to wait another 4 days for someone to come out. So tomorrow is the day. We shall see will it be another compressor and another week to put it in? I never heard of any company stretching a repair over a months time. I am so angry with Whirlpool, Assurant and A&E repair company; you just dont know. I would not recommend buying or going through these companies. This is very unprofessional.

I had purchased fully automatic top loaded WHIRLPOOL WM 360 BW PRO-HS 9.5 on 08/05/2019. I had purchased the above machine after going through the various claims made on the website. However, I regret to say that since installation I find that the performance of the machine is not up to my satisfaction. Even after two visits by the engineer, the following issues remain:(i) The machine makes lot of noise in the initial stage.(ii) Though the timer shows a particular time during selection of a washing cycle, in reality the machine takes one and half times more than the timing shown. In case one selects warm / hot water, the actual time taken is twice that shown or more. I am sure in winters it will take more time in case warm / hot water is selected.(iii) The clothes get badly entangled during wash.In the past I had a LG front loading washing machine which never gave me any problem. I had gone for the best top loading model of Whirlpool hoping for better performance but it has only caused problems. Not worth the expenditure.

17 month old Whirlpool duet washer door lock broke. ($300) repair! Had given my old (13 years) set to daughter when I moved. That set has never had a repair or problem! Why do they keep making things with more bells and whistles we dont need and so cheaply made? Frustrated, annoyed and becoming cynical in middle age.

I suppose the idea was good - less water. However, when you are washing clothes, water and agitation are key. Without an agitator, clothes are just spun around with water and detergent. This washing machine (WTW4950XW2) couldnt clean any dirt off clothes. Clothes go in dirty. They come out damp, wrinkled, and dirty. I got this washing machine free from my father and am thinking I got ripped off. No wonder he gave it away. Piece of junk.

After having an expensive front loader (ugh) we purchased the Whirlpool Cabrio top loader (wow)! Best washer ever owned, wouldn’t trade it for any on the market! It has been as great and problem free as the front loader was terrible with cleaning and smell.

Bought all Whirlpool appliances for my home and the dishwasher doesnt work right and all that they can tell me is its not even 7 months old. They dont have any repair technician around where I live so Im on my own to get it fixed. So much for getting your moneys worth.

Very pleased with my Whirlpool dishwasher. It is not the top of the line but does a great job of cleaning my dishes and is very quiet when running. Whirlpool appliances have been very good to me.
