We purchased a Whirlpool Range from Brands Mart USA and did not try to use it for quite some time because our house was not ready to move in. When we tried to turn on the oven it would not come on. We called a repair service and was told the Motherboard was not working. We realize the warranty was out on the stove but it never worked and the stove is Brand New. We called Whirlpool and they was going to repair and changed their mind on December 18, 2014 at 8:54 am. Before that call we had spent quite a lot of hours on the phone with Whirlpool and Brands Mart USA.. We purchased three appliances from Brands Mart USA Range, Dishwasher and Microwave at the same time they were all Whirlpool products. What happened to Good Customer Service and Return Customers for Job Security? Well neither Company care for their customers. We did not break a motherboard for a stove oven because the range was never turned on because it was broken when purchased.. We are unable to get any help from either company. I talked today to ** & Supervisor ** from-Whirlpool and ** - Brands Mart USA, again no help. Why transfer you from one company to another for 1 hour and 45 minutes? WISH I COULD GET SOME HELP. And we wonder why companies go out of business - word of mouth complaints and especially with Senior Citizens like us.

Purchased a NEW Whirlpool side by side refrigerator (WRS965CIA) and it was delivered on 2-3-14 with a dent in the door. The retail store ordered a replacement door and this order was approved by Whirlpool. 4 months later, I still dont have the door. My 8 calls to the retail store say that Whirlpools Trade partner is not returning their calls or emails to get this resolved. My contact with Whirlpool was met with contact your Trade Partner. Vicious cycle and still no replacement door.

I have read the reviews and agree with all negative comments. There is no point in investing in a high efficiency machine when I have to rewash many dark items several times in spite of always adding the extra rinse cycle. The clothes appear cleaner if I do not add liquid fabric softener, but as I prefer to use my clothes line when possible, I am unable to use fabric softener. Also, although it is supposed to be a high capacity machine, I only fill the tub about one third of its capacity, hoping this will increase the cleanliness of your clothes. It doesnt seem to help.I have contacted Whirlpool several times and the final suggestion was that pay for a technicians visit, approx. $100, plus extra for repairs. I have decided not to throw good money after bad and to buy another brand of washer. This is the WORST appliance I have ever owned even though it is supposedly high-end. PLEASE do not buy a Whirlpool appliance. If the Cabrio washing machine is an indication of the quality of their appliances, you will be wasting your money.

I had to purchase a new fridge quickly due to a power surge and this was the only one available with features I wanted. It is too small, but thats not the fridges fault. Has worked well and easy to clean. Simple white fridge that Id recommend. Not expensive and for the past year+ dependable.

Do not buy anything from Whirlpool. This company needs forced out of business. Everything breaks down within weeks or months. I bought a fridge, dishwasher, and a washer dryer. Within 16 months they all went to the trash.

Whirlpool Cabrio - Worst washing machine I have ever had. Unbalanced when washing sheets, towels. It does not matter if one sheet or two. I will never buy another one like this again. I would be better off having a twin tub for the amount of time I spend in the laundry to fix this machine when it bangs, bangs because it is unbalanced. HATE, HATE, HATE it.

I bought my Whirlpool refrigerator model #ed5fvgxws07 in Oct. 2011. One year seven months later, I am experiencing my 1st breakdown. The refrigerator side is failing to cool. I have replaced the temp control thermostat and I am waiting to see if this fixes the problem. I have researched and checked the other possible problems and it is unlikely that it is a defrost fail as there is no frost build-up in the freezer section. And, I checked the heater element and there is continuity through the element. If this does not fix the problem, I believe that there is one other possible solution. I dont have $300.00 to give to an appliance repairman. Maybe I should give it a rap on the side as one other customer said a repair person did to make it work for a few more weeks.

In June 2003, I purchased a Whirlpool Gold Conquest Side-by-Side satina finish refrigerator (Model Number: GAS6SHAXLL03; Serial Number: SP1452552). The ice-maker has always had freezing up issues which I never complained to the company about. It has made weird noises (nothing major) but was already out of warranty. I paid $1,600-1,700 for it. I did not have the money to pay for repairs and I am sure that the repairman would have never found the problem. Two days ago, there was an electrical smell in the house. After an hour or two, it started getting stronger and stronger so my husband looked at the fridge. There was smoke pouring at the back of it so he pulled it away from the wall and we unplugged it. Surprisingly, the plug was not hot. Had I not been home, it could have caught fire, burned the house down and killed my dog! I am furious about this. When I called, Whirlpool says, That model is not under a recall. Would you like me to transfer you to service for repair? Really? Those big corporations dont care! There needs to be a recall on this because I have seen this same problem many times on blogs and forums. Well, guess what, I used to be a Whirlpool fan, not anymore! Now, I went and purchased a new refrigerator, and the brand name is Samsung! I recently bought a Samsung front loading washer and dryer and they are great. It looks like the Whirlpool dishwasher in my kitchen will be next! I bet Samsung makes a nice dishwasher.

My 1 year old Whirlpool top loader is an absolute nightmare. It does not complete cycles. Stops all the time with various error codes. My washing comes out soaking wet. The pipes on the inside comes loose and floods the house. The machine stops all the time with all the washing clogged on one side of the drum. It is a 16 kg capacity machine but you cannot even think of putting 8 kg laundry in there. I will never, ever buy any Whirlpool product again. Cheap scrap! Thats what it is.

Every one of the knobs cracked where they engage the gas valve. One gas valve came loose from the manifold creating a gas leak discovered by the propane company on a system leak test. Screws came loose that hold the tracks to the base for the slide out bottom drawer. The AquaLift cleaning system is useless. Better buy some oven cleaner and rubber gloves. Very disappointed! One star because 0 isn’t an option.

I purchased the top-of-the-line Whirlpool Cabrio washer and dryer. My washer is 6 years old and will not complete a wash cycle. According to the repairman, the drive shaft is stuck and it will cost $500.00 to repair it. When speaking with Whirlpool, their suggestion was to buy a new one and get an extended warranty. This company is a total disappointment.

I purchased a new Whirlpool (2015) Model: WRF736SDAM13 French Door Refrigerator. Two days later, water was dripping from the light in the top of the refrigerator. I was removing about a cup of water twice a day, which dripped from the light. The company was friendly when I called, and offered a replacement or repair. I elected the repair as I felt that would be acceptable. The repair man inspected the refrigerator and determined the problem to be condensation from the water holding tank, located in the top of the refrigerator. He stated that because the incoming water has the opportunity to reach room temperature prior to entering the fridge, and because of the high temperatures (80’s & 90’s) the water holding tank has condensation that collects in the top of the refrigerator, which drips onto the top of inter refrigerator liner, and eventually drips through the light. He stated there is no fix, as it is not broken. While it is not broken, this is a bad design error, which would affect anyone who lives in an area where the temperatures exceed 80 degrees outside, which could only be fixed with a collection tray that would allow the water not to drip into the refrigerator. Currently there is none available. Because I only had the refrigerator for two days before the problem was reported, Lowes allowed me to make an immediate exchange. However, had this been purchased during cooler temperatures, the issue would not have been noticed until after the 30-day time frame and the exchange would not have been an option. When I made the exchange, I noticed that all the 3 & 4 door refrigerators are made the same and will have the same problem. I ended up exchanging it for a Samsung model. Kudos to Lowes. Whirlpool, you need to find a fix for this problem if you want to sell me another one.

I have a Whirlpool Duet Steam Washer that will be two years old in September 2013. It has been making terrible, loud noises during the spin cycle for a few months now. Repair tech told me it was the bearings and very costly. It will cost me over half of the original cost to repair a less than two year old washer. This is my second Duet front loader from Whirlpool. The first one was a drum issue and the rod ended up snapping. Again, very costly so I bought a new one. I should have learned my lesson the first time. I do not agree with extended warranties and it is just an additional money maker for the manufacturer. They should be making the product so people do not have to purchase those. Anyway, back to the washer at hand. I refuse to spend that much on a newer washer and will never purchase a Whirlpool product again. I will let this thing bang for as long as it is going to last. Unfortunately have also just purchased the dryer that matches this washer since I still had the old model Duet Dryer, so kind of stuck with them. Spent an hour and a half yesterday on the phone talking to people at Whirlpool and they really dont care if you have an issue or not no matter how old your machine is. They just want you to have purchased the extended warranty or forget it. There should be a recall and they should be helping these customers who all seem to be having the same issue. Done with them!!

Whirlpool Cabrio Washer WTW7340XW sounds like a small jet during spin cycle. The Whirlpool Cabrio Washers have a very well known and well documented problem with the tub bearings failing. Many many disgruntled owners have posted their complaints online, and there are many videos showing the issue on youtube. This issue is so prevalent that the manufacturer has created a tub bearing failure repair kit for $350. The repair is so expensive and labor intensive that many of the certified Whirlpool repair shops no longer work on the Cabrio washer stating that a better washer can be purchased for the cost of this repair.That said, the manufacturers customer service group denies that the Cabrio tub bearing failures is a common problem and are quick to state that Whirlpool holds no liability for this problem. Ramping the complaint up to a customer service supervisor is met with the same canned response. Regardless of the thousands of complaints Whirlpool is claiming that it is normal wear and tear for the tub bearings to fail. The manufacturer should recall the units for this manufacturing defect in the Cabrio design.

I purchased a Whirlpool hot water gas heater with a six-year warranty. It only lasted three years. When I called for an RA#, I was told, Well, well send you a part after you get a plumber and pay for it. Meanwhile, there is water all over the cellar floor. I called again and was told the same thing. Two weeks of no hot water and no help from Whirlpool. I will never order anything Whirlpool ever again. They stink.

Whirlpool electric range with ceramic cooktop - I have a large black mark on one of the cooktop burners that appears to be beneath the surface of the cooktop. It’s almost within the finish of the burner and unable to be cleaned with cooktop cleaner. I have purchased an extended warranty and arranged for a service call. The repairman came out as scheduled, but informed me after making a phone call to who knows, because he did not tell us that the problem was cosmetic and could not be repaired under warranty. However, if we wanted a replacement cooktop, it would cost almost as much as a new stove. He also said that he had seen many of these ceramic burners with that problem and it was not unusual. All I really want is what is fair, a defect that is not my fault that needs to be replaced. The stove (Whirlpool electric range with ceramic cooktop) was purchased in 2004 and is kept very, very clean.

I had a kitchen fire in 1999. All appliances were replaced with Stainless Steel Whirlpool. My old fridge was an 18 y.o. Whirlpool and still works fine in the garage. My old above range microwave was 12 y.o. and worked fine, I should have kept it. I had to replace my new Whirlpool Microwave after 4 years and 4 repairs. (Main Power Diode kept failing). Now my Whirlpool Gold fridge is not defrosting, even the freezer light switch is frozen. This French door freezer also seems to have less capacity than my old upright freezer. The retailer seemed sympathetic and pathetic. They would not budge on repairs. I told the contractor that did the rehab on my house what happened, he said he would stay away from Whirlpool and that retailer.

I have a Whirlpool top-loading washing machine model 3LA5580XSW3. The timer switch is not working and I have been told that spares are not available. Is this true? Everything else works well. Please advise as I really need a new timer.

I like the double bottom french drawers but I don’t like that the top door hinge covers are plastic. Also I wish there was more height inside the refrigerator for tall bottles and pots. The wheels are great for moving.

This microwave came with the apartment. Its the 2nd one we have had. The first one failed in our 3rd year here. We dont use all the functions, but what we have used, it works fine. Would I purchase this brand, no. I would choose GE, or Panasonic.

WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR MODEL WRF532SMBM01 FRENCH DOOR - Gasket in refrigerator door totally cracked in bottom part and torn on the side only after 2 years and one month of use. I have another Whirlpool refrigerator for 7 years without gasket failure. My other 3 previous refrigerators which I have owned more than 10 years. Each also never had any problems.

My mother has had this stove (Whirlpool Accubake) about 3 years. She does little cooking. On June 24, 2015, herself clean activated, probably for a few days, this is normally 850 degrees. She is 84, does nothing with this stove, certainly not knowing how to hit the clean button and HOLD the Start button for 3 seconds... this caused the stove to billow smoke out of the oven and encompass her entire home. No fire, but was caught in time. The fire department had to pry open the door as it would not unlock.

I absolutely HATE this washer! These pics are of jeans AFTER they came out of washer. Its energy efficient for sure...doesnt use enough water to fully wet the jeans. And, yes, I know how to choose the correct settings. See how wrinkled the jeans are? That is what all clothes look like after being washed in this washer. Dryer isnt any better. It does dry them, but they are so wrinkled they look like they were just pulled out of dirty clothes hamper. I was a Whirlpool fan up until this set. I realized before my 30 days were up that they werent cleaning my clothes well. I went back to Lowes & set up a date & time for them to be picked up. Salesman convinced me that I just wasnt use to this new type of Whirlpool washer/dryer. Plus he insinuated I was being a problem customer who was lying about the poor performance of my set. He said they had sold a lot of these W/D and NEVER had a complaint. Dummy like I cancelled the pick up. I would not take another set of these if they were given to me. I purchased the Whirlpool Gold OTC microwave model #GMH6185XVQ on November 29, 2010, and it was installed on December 26, 2010. After 18 months, the Magnatron went out. Its just me and my husband, and we eat out most of the time. So, it wasnt used a lot. I called Whirlpool, and Sherrie could only say that she feels my frustration. No, she doesnt. She has no idea. I just purchased $4000 worth of Whirlpool appliances, and now, I have no idea if they are going to last. It is a piece of junk that I paid good money for. In this day and time, we have to watch what we spend. I think Whirlpool should be a stand-up company and admit to taking our hard-earned money for a piece of junk. Dont they realize that its going to hurt their business.

Whirlpool sent out a repairman to fix my range. I had it for 3 years, and one day I was baking cookies in the lower range and boiling water for pasta on the top left burner. There was a very loud pop, a bright flash in the glass top where the back left burner is, then there was no power to the range or oven at all. No clock display, burners would not work, oven would not work, nothing. As if it were unplugged. Of course, my warranty was about to expire in approximately 6 days (go figure) so I called the customer service line for repair. After 2 hours of back and forth with 3 different people, I finally had a technician coming out 4 days later. He shows up, takes about 35 minutes to get the glass top off, then says to me that he needs to order a part for it. This will take a few days. Ugh. Fine. 3 days later, part comes in. Same guy comes back out, fixes it. Ok.Up and running fine for about a year and 2 months. Then... POP! It happens again. Same scenario, different menu. (I was cooking breakfast). Now, warranty has run out and I have a $1,300 piece of scrap metal sitting in my kitchen. Worthless. My old KitchenAid stove was great. Had that thing for 13 years. Never a problem outside of replacing a $68 heating element one time. I paid $450 for that range. Tossed it out for this bells and whistles newer stainless steel glass top range/double oven. Regretting that tremendously. Whirlpool will be on my do-not-buy list for any appliance from now on. Didn’t even last 5 years. Oh did I mention the service call cost me $85? Yeah... Garbage!

I have a refrigerator model wrs325fdam. Its not a year old and I cant believe the runaround that I am getting from Whirlpool customer service. Come one day everything in freezer melting. Call a repair person. He come out, diagnose the problems, orders $825 worth of parts for a $899 refrigerator, puts the parts in. On the temperature in the freezer reads 80 degrees. No its order $200 more parts for this scrap metal pile. At what point do the people give a damn at the consumer, its not like anybody has common sense. Im going on two weeks without a ten-month-old refrigerator and four days waiting for them to figure this out. Would not recommend Whirlpool to anyone who cares about fair treatment.

We bought this pair, the washer and dryer, not even two months ago. I have not liked it since day 1. My clothes do NOT clean well at all. I had to wash the same load THREE times and still there is dirt on them! Just regular dirt. No oil, grease stains or anything... dirt. I even went and purchased POD detergent to make sure I was using the correct amount of detergent... Came home and washed the load again... DIRTY. Customer service says theyll send out a technician, but if they find nothing wrong, itll cost me... I wish I had read the reviews before I purchase this junk! DO NOT BUY!!!!!

After almost 5 years of satisfactory performance, our $1200 Whirlpool Duet washing machine WFW9400SU1 requires repairs costing over $1100. Similar to another complaint listed, some parts rusted out, leading to extensive damage during use, which we realized only after the spin cycle became incredibly loud. Now the entire gut of the machine (bearing, drum, arm, casing, etc.) needs to be replaced - $900 parts and $200 labor. I trust my repairman (who said theyd seen this type of problem before with Whirlpool) especially because he recommended buying a new machine instead. I called Whirlpool, and they said they could do nothing for me which made me very angry. This is a mechanical problem that could have been avoided by using proper materials. Whatever happened to the washing machines that would last 15-20 years?

First the ice maker stopped making ice and then the freezer stopped freezing. The unit is 2 1/2 years old. Whirlpool wants $1800 to repair! No Way. Purchased a Samsung and hope I do better with this one. So little to be praised about this American brand.

I love my Whirlpool. Were a family of 3 with a pet dog. Its handle one childs work uniforms and the others sports uniforms (yuck). And then theres my work/weekend clothes. Its very reliable and it gets the job done. We have no complaints.

I just want to say that this washer is indeed a colossal waste of money. I bought an HE machine thinking Id be environmentally responsible, but the amount of times I have to re-rinse clothes negates that. Whats worse is that clothes come out dirtier than when they go in. Thats right--just put a brand new set of sheets in the washer and when they came out, there were dissolved detergent marks and gray, linty patches all over them (this using warm water and a soft gel detergent)--resembling dirt you might get from hanging clothes on a mildew clothes line. I cant tell you how many times I need to re-run the drain and spin cycle. This wastes time, water and quality of life. Id try to re-sell it on Craigslist but wouldnt want to subject anyone else to it--not fair even at $100!Updated on 02/23/2015I wrote a review in September 2014 on the Whirlpool cabrio model WTW5600XWO. My letter specifically said I did not expect customer resolution but wanted to express what a rotten product they produced and marketed. I called back, and after waiting on hold for 10 mins., the rep took my model and serial numbers, said, Oh I see your letter. Please give me a moment to review it. Then I was told there was nothing she could do. I do apologize for your frustration. I couldnt BELIEVE they would bother contacting me only to make me go through that charade-- They are PATHETIC! I say boycott the company! Well, I certainly will.

I bought a new Whirlpool Top Load Washer four years ago and the paint was peeling off. I called Whirlpool and they offered to sell me a touch-up paint because it was out of warranty. I will never buy one of their products again.

I thought with the big tub I would be able to wash my king size bedding and other large things. Theres barely enough water to wash a small regular wash. Since it has no water it does not clean my clothes. Why the big tub if you cant use but one fourth of it?

Top load stackable Washer dryer - Model number YWET 3300XQO. I had two floods with the same washer dryer unit. The first flood occurred in April 2012 and thousands of dollars were paid to repair the home that was damaged due to this flooding. The second flooding happened in October 2012 with the same machine at the same home. This time there were other Whirlpool owners that also suffered with the same issue with the same model Whirlpool machine. Whirlpool acknowledged that they will pay out to fix the damages and the deductibles but to date they are simply playing games on paying out. This is 15 months after the first flooding happened.

I purchased a whirlpool gold series microwave model #WMH76718AS one and a half years ago, paid $500.00 for it. It stopped heating. Everything else works on it so it looks like I paid $500.00 for a digital clock and a fancy bread box! I went online and read complaint after complaint that the same thing happened to other people. It appears that the magnetron is faulty. I called Whirlpool and asked their service rep how she would feel if she bought a microwave and after 1 1/2 years it wasnt working. She told me that it was man made and that I should EXPECT things to go wrong. She did offer to pay for parts... which did surprise me. But I have to pay for a $45.00 service call and all labor that it costs to fix it. I called the number she gave me and got a answering machine.... still waiting for them to call me back. I most likely will just throw this Whirlpool piece of junk in the garbage where it belongs. I dont want to spend hundreds of dollars to repair a lemon. I feel that Whirlpool knows there is a problem with their product... that is why they offer to pay for parts. But why should their mistake cost their customers money on top of all the inconvenience. Whirlpool does not back their products or care about their customers after they get your money. I will Never buy a whirlpool product again and that includes anything from their sister companies Maytag, Kitchenaid, Jenn-air, Amana and there are many more. So before you buy anything make sure you check to see who you are really buying it from!

I’ve had the dishwasher for at least 3 yrs. if not longer. I have a long history with Whirlpool products and so far I haven’t had any problems with my past purchases. They normally wear out from age because if you take care of it normally they last for years.

Whirlpool gold model GI6FDRXXQ06 - This fridge is 3 years old and we are about to put the fifth ice maker in it. Vegetables freeze in the vegetable drawer (yes, its set correctly). Our repairman even says the design is faulty but since the warranty is out, we have to keep replacing the units!

Bought Whirlpool Dishwasher MDf760SADMZ including protection plan in November 2015. Product did not last even four years --top and bottom racks began falling apart-- and drain motor went out causing near flood in my kitchen. Disappointed consumer.

I have the Cabrio washer that is only four years old. It is leaking oil and is very loud during the spin cycle. I paid $800 for this washer and am extremely frustrated that it didnt last longer than this. I contacted Whirlpool customer service and had no luck since it is out of warranty. Due to the high number of complaints with the same issue, please consider a class action lawsuit. Thank you.

Sad that I have to file this review! After reading multiple other reviews on all brands available to American citizens, I have come to the realization that cheap labor and materials are creating massive appliance garbage in our country as well as financial rip off for us all. It needs to STOP! What has happened to doing things right!! What company is going to be the first to produce good refrigerators! Paid over $2000 for my side by side and it is only 5 years old and has a freon leak that cant be fixed. Repairman said will have to buy a new refrigerator. Pathetic!! Cheap manufacturing in foreign countries is killing our economy and our household finances. Be prepared to buy NOTHING that works! Yeah, thats what I work hard for and look forward to. Americans better wake up.

I was gifted a washer and ventless dryer for my condo. It takes a little longer than a regular dryer but it works great. It fits perfectly in a closet.

I purchased a washer 6 months ago and it was starting by itself so I called to get a technician out and it took them 3 days to tell me that they did not service in our area. Long story short I was out of a washer for 2 weeks talking back & forth with Whirlpool which was absolutely a nightmare. Kept me on hold forever and hung up on me several times so they didnt have to deal with the situation. Absolutely no customer service at all. When it came down to it they were going to issue me a new washing machine and I had to go to the store to get it and when I got to the store they told me I had a $415.00 credit to spend. Thats less than what I had paid for the washing machine and then I am having to spend an extra $200.00 out of pocket to get another washing machine.My warning to you is not to purchase any Whirlpool appliances unless you want to go thru pure hell. These people do not care about anyone after the product is sold. Their customer service sucks, their appliances suck and Whirlpool just sucks all the way around!! Worst experience I have ever had and I hope they never sell another appliance again!!

I agree with the comments already made. My crisper drawer plastic rectangular piece just literally decomposed! It shredded into little pieces and cracked and broke, dropping one side of the draw set. I called about it - nope, not under warranty - replacement cost? Merely $150 so my drawers could be in the refrigerator. Also, because of the stress of the angle the drawer holder was when it broke, it cracked the drawer at the back - and the drawer had one grapefruit in it at the time. (Not considering replacing - cant imagine what that would cost when the little brace piece approx 14 was so expensive.) The flap - yeah, it split. I am a single person, no kids EVER in my refrigerator and I travel so much that I am barely home 20% of my days. The refrigerator gets very little activity opening and closing the doors yet the flap sliced. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN??? With any break in the seal as they called it, the refrigerator starts collecting moisture inside (and I live in the desert so we have very little moisture in our air) and drips or starts causing frost build up on the icemaker. Yesterday, once again, the icemaker stopped working. When I asked about replacing the flap I was told the entire seal needed to be replaced @ the cost of $232 PER DOOR!! Right now with just the plastic rectangular piece and the bar between the two drawers (BTW the rollers on the frame are not included with the frame purchase they announced) I have $614 in repair parts WITHOUT fixing the icemaker! Last night water was running in my refrigerator from the icemaker. I WILL NEVER BUY OR RECOMMEND WHIRLPOOL TO ANYONE EVER AGAIN. I have been a Whirlpool ONLY customer for over 45 years!!!! They told me that I had to schedule an appointment with a service person at a minimum of $100 cost to me - JUST TO FILE A COMPLAINT with Whirlpool! My landlord purchased a new Amana washer (NTW4605EW0) Labor Day weekend 2015. It started having issues in the spring, so we went through the process of utilizing the manufacturers warranty. Apparently, Amana, part of Whirlpool, requires 5 attempts at repairing the machines before replacing. Okay, so starting in June 2016, we arranged service appointments 5 times and replaced 1 part, then another, 4 times. Clearly, that part is defunct. Right? Fast forward to September and then into October. Get a new washer, and not the one I preferred. We got the Whirlpool WTW4816FW1. Before the installers leave, we are having the SAME issue. Stops midcycle, doesnt finish cycle, sometimes stops while filling, or while full, or kid wash, or mid drain... But now with the new washer, the drain and spin cycle thinks it should FILL instead of drain... and Whirlpool said they would get someone out the next day, a promise they cannot keep because they dont supply the repair guy, they source with local companies. So, the company ordered 3 parts... That could be the problem. And 4 days later, 2 parts are on freaking BACK ORDER. Parts arrive. All new parts replaced. Machine still doesnt work. Outlet tested by us and them and it is fine. The techs think there is some kind of RF interference. Turn off sensor light, which is on the same wall, unplug power to wifi router (which outdates the washer). Still, doesnt work.I have spent half my week, every week, since June, restarting my washer, unplugging the damn thing, waiting, and waiting, trying again and again and again to wash 2 loads of laundry a week... Literally takes a week until the damn thing does its job. Whirlpool is sent us a replacement washer. Can you guess what happened the first time we started it? SAME ISSUE. Cycle will not complete. Sometimes it dies before it even fills. Sometimes it dies while filling. Sometimes, it will fill and fill and drain and fill and fill and drain and... never stop filling. Or, the fun one, the drain and spin cycle thinks it is suppose to fill. Continuously. And then, suddenly, after unplugging it for 1 hr, or 24, or 72 hrs, it will work fine for 1-7 cycles. Nothing is consistent except that it doesnt work consistently. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS MUCH TROUBLE???

WARNING: Do not get the warranty plan through Whirlpool if you have stackable washer and dryer, you will have to remove the dryer yourself before they come out to service your appliances. I was willing to pay extra to have them take it down, the contractor said I had to call the extended plan service, yet 6 telephone numbers later to include the complaints department to no avail... Whirlpool contracts out so get your own and you may save a few dollars!

I bought two Whirlpool (Model: bfg1j4o4t3nov4o) natural gas water heaters. The pilot light would go out to so I re-lit it and sit in the attic until the water got hot and the burner go out. But before the burner went out, I could see the flame go from blue to yellow and hear the water dripping down on the burner. So, after the burner goes out, the water would drip down on the pilot light putting it out.They sent me a thermo coupling for free but that was never the problem. The problem is that the water heaters are poorly insulated which causes the water to drip down on the pilot, putting it out. To make a long story short, no part they send will fix these heaters. I have a GE heater in my house for 20 plus years and it is still kicking. I should have went back with that same heater.For some good news, I got my money back from Lowes. I raised so much hell in that store that the manger gave me my money back just to get me out of his store. I made them realize that all we want is our hard-earned money back from a product that does not work.

I bought my house in 2009, and the previous owner bought this refrigerator in 2005. By 2012 The light and temperature read out went out. A circuit board had to be replaced. I have a home service company that I pay for yearly which takes care of the appliances. As usual, the fine print on the back of the contract said circuit boards were not covered. When I went online to purchase the part, the cheapest I could find it was $180. My service company said they would not cover it because they break down so frequently, with Whirlpool as the biggest offender. They gave me a discount and charged me $125 for the replacement. Whirlpool is making a fortune on these defective parts, which last long enough during the warranty period, and then you are on your own.In 2015, after the refrigerator was 10 years old, the compressor died. Hundreds of dollars of food spoiled. My service company said I was covered for the replacement, but I would have to wait 5-7 days for the part to come in. I was so furious that a refrigerator of this age would break down on me. The repairman told me he has seen these Whirlpools break down after 5 years. He said they are junk. When I was young, we moved into a new 20 story building in 1963. All the apartments had the same refrigerator made by Frigidaire. I lived there for 26 years. When I moved out in 1989, that refrigerator was still there working perfectly. It never needed a repair. I never heard anyone complain about theirs either. How is it that in 1963 a company could build a workhorse of a refrigerator, but in 2005, Whirlpool, a company in business since about 1911 makes this junk? I will never buy a Whirlpool product, and will tell the world not to do so as well.

I’ve found many years of flawless performance from many Whirlpool Appliances! Once they are 20+ yrs old, I tolerate their aging and repair issues if they occur. My current microwave oven is 10 years old and was removed for a kitchen remodel, replaced after remodel and hasn’t skipped a beat!

Hi Folks, so today I had the pleasure to speak to Whirlpool regarding a repair bill on our washing machine which now has a bearing failure and estimate to repair was 1279.00. Its 6.5 Yrs old, just out of extended warranty and cost me with the pedestal a total of 1250.00 when new. I explained that in the 6.5 since I have lived at this house where we spend all new Whirlpool Gold Appliances, half have now failed. Range Microwave, Dishwasher and now the 1250.00 front loader is dying a slow and agonizing death with a bearing failure. Just so everyone understands, the estimate is from an official Whirlpool repair service that was booked through the Whirlpool website. Other repair folks just would not bother to look at it when I told them I believe the bearing was going bad.The repair man that arrived was professional and on time. However, I had a hard time understanding how a 6.5 Yr old washing machine would be considered beyond economical repair by costing 1279.00 to repair. Labor was 250.00 which I thought was fair. Time, etc. But parts made up the difference in cost. So later in the day, I spoke to Whirlpool and they offered the equal new washer for what would seem an excellent price. About half off. Wow, I thought that sounded good. So I asked if my existing pedestal would work with the new washer and it did not and I would have to pay for one. Regardless if my old one was fine or not.So, they offered a discounted rate from new at another half off. Total approx 800.00. So, I asked the Whirlpool rep to hold on and I need to check with my wife if she wants the replacement. She uses it as much as I do and wanted her thoughts. She checked the model on the washer and pedestal and with the local Home improvement store, they have it on sale for both units (washer and pedestal) and its about 50.00 less?Consequently, I called Whirlpool back and explained that it does not move the needle to regain my trust as compensation on a 6 yr bearing failure, failed dishwasher and range microwave they offer what a distributor of their product can offer for less as a package? Really? I mean, the Home improvement store is not in the business to lose money. Now, I am having a hard time understanding my own failure to have trust in a brand I used to have with my previous house.My mom had an old Whirlpool washing machine that lasted 25 years before she and my dad gave it away. You know, the old white top loader they used to make back in the 70s. Sheet metal, made a racket and never broke? Oh yeah got the clothes clean too! I dont know what to make of it anymore. So, I will just wait till it dies and take my hard earned money and spend it on another brand in my next house which we are going to move to soon. Maybe I can feel nostalgic and find my moms old washer. Its probably washing someones rags right now and getting them clean. It must be 35 yrs old by now.I dont expect to get anything for free. Its out of warranty, so I need to deal with the consequences, but there are steps the other party can take to help remedy the situation. I think they tried and it was genuine but in my thoughts its just not enough when your local box store is offering the same. When you develop a brand to extend a message of trust in quality and value, you need to have quality and value all the time. I suggested they help with the costs on the parts. I would certainly pay for the labor. Parts cost little to the manufacturer. Unable to help that way. I thought it was cheaper for them too. Guess not. Its come to be a throw away washing machine at 6.5 yrs and I am Infinitely disappointed. I just want my washing machine to work as well as my mothers old one and have the possibility to fix once in a while when needed.

I bought this Whirlpool America dishwasher because it was cheap. Even though Im Canadian, I like patriotism and I could get behind the American flag logo on the washer. Let me just say, if you like when food comes off your plates, and attaches to your cups, then this is the dishwasher for you. It is always a surprise when you open the door to discover which dishes have been cleaned, and which dishes have inherited the food particles from the now clean dishes. This appliance really helps you work on time management as you are required to wash all your dishes before you put them into the dishwasher. 0/10 would not recommend for anyone who wants clean dishes.

It’s a great stove. I love the glass top. Only dislike about mine is that it doesn’t have the self-cleaning option. I’m very weak in arms and have back injury so bending over to clean it myself is not possible.

Whirlpool 2 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel Over-the-Range Microwave - My wife and I have just remodeled our kitchen and we bought all the Whirlpool appliances, fridge, stove and microwave. We have had them for about 3 weeks now and now the display on the microwave just stop working. I just cant believe this. Its going to be a real pain now to remove this and replace it. When I researched the problems, I found so many other consumers are having the same problems and that Whirlpool will do nothing about it. I decided to start a petition on Change website to try to force Whirlpool to stand behind their product and correct the problem, offer us a refund or another product, or even fix the darn thing. It is tough economic times, and we spent money to have something that was energy-efficient as well as a product that is supposed to carry a good name. I am a single mother with three children, and I dont have a $1000.00 to throw away after 2 years. This is shameful that we, the consumers, have to deal with this. Whirlpool Cabrio Washer - Sucks. I purchased it when I purchased my house. After having the washer for a year and a half it stopped draining and wouldnt spin. I paid $75.00 for the service call from my home warranty and thought that I was good to go for a while. But here I am a year with the same problem. I will never buy another Whirlpool again.

I owned a Whirlpool water heater and the only thing I have with it is problems! The pilot keeps on turning off. Since I am a 64-year-old lady, I have no idea on how to fix things (widowed). I keep on paying for the plumber to fix it. It started with flooding all my front yard because of a faulty valve. I paid $165.00. After the pilot went off, I paid another bill to fix that. And it turned off and on again (lost count of times). Today, I found another pool of water (the valve again? ). What a piece of work! Please, can you help me? Im heading to the store to buy a new one, not a Whirlpool!

It was obviously designed by someone who has never had to clean a refrigerator. There are grooves in the door gaskets seemingly making their sole purpose to collect crumbs and mold with no obvious way to keep them clean (No, Q-tips dont do it). A layer of ice forms below the basket in the freezer (bottom freezer) which, when it melts, soaks the kitchen floor. Ice must be chipped out at least every two weeks to avoid flooding.

Whirlpool Clothes Washer Model WTW4930XW1 - We have experienced tub overfilling on (2) separate occasions with this washer model in a period of time of less than (2) years. Through extended warranty service purchased, a technician came out the first time; declared nothing explainable to cause the malfunction, re-calibrated the control panel, and off he went. This second event occurred much the same as the first; happened to walk in to notice water on laundry room floor and witnessed overflow out the lid on top. We have carefully washed additional loads after this second event without a similar malfunction. From my online research, this sure sounds like a faulty pressure switch not sensing high water level in the tub. Any other thoughts?

Our Samsung self cleaning oven burned out. The wires in the back were burnt and brittle and its a miracle our house did not burn down. While shopping we were told the new self cleaners were so much better, not the high heat, odor etc. This Whirlpool stove does not self clean, its a joke. I have scrubbed for hours on it. It does not get any kind of grease etc. off. You need to scrub and work hours. It may take a small spill off the bottom of the stove but thats it. There is no way to get all the grease splatters off the walls etc. I hate this stove and see there was a class action law suit on it. If I would have known then what I know how it would have gone back as soon as it arrived. I plan to go looking for another stove and it will not be a Whirlpool Aqualift self cleaning.

I bought Whirlpool top-loading high-efficiency low-water washer Sept 2018, model WTW5000DW, Serial # C83444466. Worst washing machine ever! No matter which water level you choose, it will not dispense enough water to cover the top of the clothes load, therefore the clothes are just moved from side to side with only the bottom layer of clothes getting wet; top clothes stay dry. Not enough water to fully agitate to clean the clothes!Whirlpool serviceman came today (Jan 13, 2020) to recalibrate the settings. VERY NICE MAN BUT THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO TO SOLVE THE LOW WATER LEVEL. Recalibrating settings did nothing to solve the problem of not enough water. I am 81 years old and I have to manually add at least 4 buckets of water to an average load of clothes. This is unacceptable. Wont someone please initiate a class action lawsuit against Whirlpool for selling this very obvious poorly designed machine? NEVER EVER BUY A WHIRLPOOL WASHING MACHINE. It is a waste of money.

I am so unhappy with my Whirlpool Cabrio washer and dryer. The clothes get so tangled and twisted that it stretches my sweaters totally out of shape. There is not enough water on any of the cycles that really clean your clothes. I saved my money so I could get something energy efficient and look great in my new laundry room. I would never recommend this product. Your sheets will not come clean because they ball up in the middle of the washer and come out partly dry. I have had this set for 3 years and now the bearing is gone; it leaks from the bottom and throws grease all over my new floor. I have battled the horrible odor since the second month. It smells so bad that I make sure I dont wash the day I have guest over. I am so disappointed and mad at myself for not reading any reviews before I spent my hard earned money. So here I am now 3 years into my ownership and having to spend more money on a defective product. The sad part is that I really thought I was getting something nice that would last me and my husband for years. There are only two of us in our household. This machine does not work properly; now it is broken, but hey it really looks good.

I have had my Whirlpool W10280546B HE washer for 1 1/2 years. For the last year, I have had constant problems with the washer leaving a large amount of residue (in spots) all over my laundry. I have always run my washer as instructed, and I only used HE detergent in the correct amount. This residue appears to be fine lint, but may be lint combined with detergent.I have used the washing machine cleaning tablets and powders, but this has not helped at all. No one seems to have ever heard of this problem. I have to clean off these spots which cover approximately 1/3 of each article with every washing. The dryer helps get some of it off, but not nearly all of it. Any suggestions besides buying another washer of another brand after only 1 1/2 years?!

We bought a new Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum washer and dryer in July of 2014. We were continually finding wet areas in our clothes after they were supposed to be dry. We finally called Lowes where we purchased the set. We had bought Whirlpool appliances about 10 years ago and were pleased with the product as we never had any problems. Lowes sent a service technician on September 12th who checked out the dryer and told us there was nothing wrong with the dryer, but the vent was unsatisfactory (he was from A&E Appliance Repair). He said there was nothing he could do and charged us around $148 for the 14 minutes he was here. We checked out the vent and found it to be working satisfactorily, but we continued finding wet areas on the clothes that were supposed to be dry. We continued to call Lowes and finally spoke to Amy at their Headquarters Customer Care Dept. with no positive results. We then called Whirlpool, and they sent someone who replaced the steam dryer valve which he said was leaking in November (it took another month to get this part). It is now January of 2015, and we are still experiencing wet spots on our clothes even worse than before!

I purchased a Whirlpool Washer at Lowes on 02/29/16. After 3 weeks it simply stopped after the last rinse, never drained the water or starting the spin circle. One and a half month later after 5 service calls still no working washer. Whirlpool customer service just adds insult to injury. They refuse to replace to washer or to issue a refund. Apparently they dont care if their customers have to use a laundromat indefinitely after buying one of their washers.

I purchased a washer and dryer stackable about 6 months ago. It is suppose to have warranty but when calling the first time to Whirlpool their system was down and the girl was rude and hung up. Today I called and the only time they can offer is work days Monday-Friday 8-5. However, I live in Texas and work an hour and half away from where I live. I have just been transferred here so limited people known. So in order to get my dryer not even 6 months old fixed I have to accommodate the hours available and miss work. The dryer just stopped heating and stuck on the sensing wet cycle. I am a single parent of a disabled son, so with this said a days work is bills not getting paid. I find this unacceptable for a company as well known and one of the best not able to accommodate someones work hours for pretty much a lemon. It was a brand new dryer and washer.

I purchased a new Whirlpool range and had it fitted for propane. I used the stove daily and within two weeks, the temperature started fluctuated constantly. Several things I tried to cook ended up burned. I called Whirlpool to ask them for a possible solution. They wanted to send a repair person. I live on an island and knew it would take forever to get someone here. My appliance person said it could be only two things - the temperature probe or the computer board. I purchased both things and had them shipped to my address at my expense. It cost $257.00 to get the items. My appliance man on the island installed the two new items. I was hoping that would fix the problem. I am sad to say it did not! The oven still fluctuates wildly. I set the temp for 350 degrees and it shoots up to 450 degrees. I turn the temp down to 325 and it settles in at 350 for a period of time. Then, without any warning, it will shoot back up to 500 degrees. I have to open the door and let the temp back down to 350. This is how I have to bake and cook with this disaster. Wish I never purchased a Whirlpool appliance!

The washer in this set is my biggest complaint. I have followed all instructions and tried different methods time and time again and the clothes never come out fully clean. I too experience all the other complaints on this site as well, stuff still left on clothes, dry spots, stains not removed after being pretreated etc. I did some research before buying this set and saw some good reviews, dont know who wrote them but obviously they were highly inaccurate. This is my biggest purchase regret ever, as this set cost about $2500, so disappointed.

I bought washing machine Whirlpool Cabrio Model WTW7300XWO two years ago. It only lasted 2 years and the tub seal and tub bearing went bad. I called Whirlpool and they wouldnt replace defective part on their dime. I talked to supervisor and they still refused to admit they needed to fix this broken product on their dime and make it last longer than 2 years. They claimed only a 1-year warranty. This is totally unacceptable to have a supposedly good washer that you pay $700 for (manufacturer price $899) last only 2 years! Very, very disappointed! I wouldnt buy from this company again!

My old Whirlpool stopped working so I purchased a new one 2 weeks ago. I have had 3 items ruined since using this machine. It is leaving blotchy spots on the clothes and they will not come out. I do not use bleach but the spots look like bleached spots or stains. After reading other reviews I would like to know what the manufacturers are going to do. It is not very economical if we have to rewash everything or replace clothes the new washers are ruining. I have just spent hundreds of dollars for something that does not do its job and would like to know what the solution is. Is there a model washing Machine out there that still cleans clothes? Since mine is only 2 weeks old can I trade it in (Lowes)?

Rust started forming early on our washer and spread quickly. Our house is air conditioned and not near the ocean. There was no reason for the rust. Poor quality finishing is the only explanation. When I called to complain I got nowhere. I wish I could show a photo on this website. It would dissuade anyone from ever buying a whirlpool.

We bought our Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine and dryer in October 2010 and it was the worst purchase we have ever made. We had two worthless calls to Whirlpool and all the regular brain-dead suggestions that do not improve function. We have had a technician out to our home and we have the extended warranty. The technician stated that the machine will never function properly and Whirlpool knows this. The low water level prevents washing, rinsing. The problems with the washing machine are many and the required multiple washes and rinses make the claim for low energy usage false advertising.It leaves white streaks on dark clothes constantly and has residue on everything from sheets to silks, no matter the cycle. Theres not enough water which covers the clothes, so clothes do not get clean. The spin cycle is so violent that clothes are damaged. The soak cycle is a joke. Soaking means to sit in water and soak. This machine drains the water so there is no soaking. With this very expensive machine, we can use only one cycle; bulky items on the low spin with a repeat rinse. According to the technician, these complaints are what they respond to all day, everyday. There is no mechanical fix for this design flawed machine. If you are looking at buying this machine, dont! The machine has ruined lots of laundry. Do not waste your money or your time. I would like my money back. The Whirlpool company definitely plays dumb on the customer service calls. Its a non-functional washer as it damages laundry and has false claim for low energy usage.

This is the only time in my life when I have seen a Microwave behave so badly (and one that is relatively expensive). The microwave is defective out of the box. I purchased a top load Whirlpool Washer and Dryer in April 2021. When it was installed I commented about how noisy it was. I was told it was because it was empty, but it will be much quieter once you put in a load of laundry. That did not make any difference. I called Whirlpool customer service and explained I had just purchased it less than a week ago and it appeared to be very noisy. I was told they could send someone out, but if they determined there was not a problem I would be charged a service call. I said the machine is not even a week old why would I be charged a service call shouldnt this be a warranty issue. Again I was told there would be a service call charge.I am completely baffled at the customer service response. This is the first and only time I called. I contacted the store where I purchased both the washer and dryer and was told it should not be that loud, this is the first time anyone has complained about the noise level and there should not be charge. Whirlpool has terrible customer service and I will NEVER purchase another Whirlpool product again because of the customer service. I have purchased numerous appliances in my lifetime and have never been treated so poorly. If I could return both the washer and dryer I would not hesitate. I would not recommend Whirlpool to anyone.

I purchased this fridge in February 2015. In August, the handle on the fridge door broke. I called for a replacement on 8/7, on 9/14/15 I received it. It broke on 10/3/15 and had a replacement on 10/13/15. It broke again on 12/26/15. I called for a replacement. I should get it in 10 days. Obviously, there is a flaw in their design. What bothers me is that no one seems to care. I will hope I never have to buy a Whirlpool product again. And I will certainly discourage anyone I know who is thinking about buying their products. I purchased this product at Lowes and they did not care when I went to them.

I have always liked Whirlpool products but it seems lately they are lagging in this department. My washer/dryer combo each separate I dont feel are doing the job they should be. Washer is the bigger problem. Softner dispenser not distributing the softner correctly and now I have to clean out after each use. These are about 10 years old now. Is not spinning all the water out and not at all sure if clothes are getting clean. Most of their products usually lasted much longer back a few years.

I have spent 30 minutes trying to change light bulb under the oven and get the cover plate back on. I watched the film on how to do it, it was amusing to watch the struggle to get it on. It was amusing to say the least. Whirlpool watching it??? I do not believe whoever designed this worthless time consuming light cover never tested it one time, or it would had been more user friendly. It amazes me what kind of trash they can build for us consumers to have to deal with at times. Tomorrow this overhead piece of junk is coming out and being replaced by a non Whirlpool one. Purchased this refrigerator in 7/2017. I cant stand it. Its pretty and works, but the NOISE!! I bought a white noise machine and placed it on the countertop next to the refrigerator just to drown out the noise (very high pitched sound). Repairmen came out twice. A part was replaced, but nothing changed. Said have to live with it. Dont buy Whirlpool or youll go crazy listening to this all day, especially with an open concept home. You can hear it everywhere!

My review is not about Lowes, it is about the Whirlpool Range I purchased. I purchased a Whirlpool Range in 2013. In a matter of a few weeks the drawer at the bottom was giving problems. It was still under warranty and a repairman was sent to repair it at no cost to me. Something was broke about it. The drawer is so flimsy made it is not made to hold much of anything to start with. I have to take all sorts of effort to get it to close correctly. It is just shoddy made. Then a few weeks ago a piece of the side trim on the oven door fell off. My husband got it back on and then it fell off again last night. I am not happy with this stove, it is cheap made for $550.00. It is white with a smooth cooking surface. Drawer is so shallow and wont stay on the tracks, things fall out over the back. I am not satisfied with this stove, but I have got to keep it.

Cabrio top loading washer - I have had this set for 3 years. The first 8 months it was fine, then came all the rust. I had to go to the BBB and file a complaint as everyone at Whirlpool would not help. Last year they finally replaced the top, and now, its rust yet again. I rinse and dry the machine when I am done using it. The repair man said it was because manufacturers are not using primer and just one coat of cheap paint. What now? Ill see if I can get the lid off and sand it and use rust preventer on it. Never again, I should just junk this piece of crap and Whirlpool should shut down if they cant make anything worth our hard earned money.

How would you like to be without a refrigerator for 10+ days? How do you justify 10 days without a service tech being available for what I call an emergency! Either you need to hire more technicians or make BETTER products. My suggestion is have a supervisor go out to a call first and access the problem. My case, a tech shows up after waiting 10 days, to tell me my refrigerator needs all the parts. Which means Ill have to wait probably another 2-3 weeks for the parts to arrive. Im sure the parts werent ordered to be expedited. Im beyond furious. We lost everything in our freezer. Doesnt stay frozen in coolers.When we purchased the refrigerator, just under two years ago, the service tech was out three separate times because our ice maker kept going on the blink. Finally, I purchased ice maker, because your refrigerator only makes ice when it wants. Not reliable! Second problem, the lights in refrigerator & freezer went out. Real smart to install LED lights that can only be replaced by a technician. Insane for the consumer. (Cost of lights replaced w/o warranty contract is $100). DONT BUY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS UNLESS YOU ENJOY MISERY!!Why would you put glossy black finish on front of refrigerator, and the sides have black texture, where you cant see fingerprints. Surprised my daughter with a Whirlpool washer and dryer computerized, never again you have to stand at the washer half the time resetting it over and over. It takes all day to wash. Went to Lowes. They said yes you have to start it three times. What a pain. Never will buy one again.

I bought my Whirlpool Cabrio Top Loading HE washing machine and dryer duo in February 2009. I carried an additional extra extended warranty for an extra 3 years. Now, at the dispenser where you add the bleach, it has rusted. The rust has gotten so bad the lid has detached from the body of the machine. I cant understand how a machine less than 4 years old could rust so badly. I called Whirlpool to complain and they suggested I get it repaired and my cost. A car that sits outside in rain, sun, snow and hail does not rust in 3 years. I bought the machines from Home Depot. The way Whirlpool has handled this, I will never buy another Whirlpool.

So far this washing machine has been perfect. Its a top load not front load which I prefer. Im not a big fan of how it locks and I cant throw other stuff in once it started. Other than that Im very satisfied.

Purchased set of eco friendly whirlpool Cabrio top load washer about 4 years ago. Im at my wits end with the washer. Ever since I bought them the washer has continued to bleach my clothes; after we would wash our whites with bleach the 2-3 loads after would have random clothes bleached, this has happened for many years. We called someone in for it to be fixed but they told us nothing was wrong. So now to prevent bleaching we have to run it a few times w/o clothes, what a waste. It also does not wash clothes thoroughly, clothes come out smelling of cologne and the boys sports uniform still smell musky and like grass. What has sparked me to write this review after years of re-washing and bleach stains on newly bought clothes is I washed a sheet after my son vomited on it about a week ago (mind you it was a sheet and thin comforter alone in washer). I put the sheet on today and see dried up vomit, so disgusted. Do yourself a favor and avoid this product.

I have the same issue with cooking time on my Whirlpool wall oven (WFE54OHOES). Bought it in January and have not yet had a single recipe come out cooked. Outside is crisp, inside uncooked, after twice the amount of time it used to take. Its still under warranty. Service came out and told me to bake differently. Thats an answer for you. I am going to pursue this issue with Best Buy where we purchased it.

Whirlpool Cabrio - Our washing machine just started leaking water with oil underneath. This would be our third repair since purchasing this machine but it doesnt sound like a repair is possible or worth it. Its too bad we cant go back to the old models. They definitely lasted longer with no problems. Companies should make the older models bigger and forget about the front loaders and newer models without the agitators. Too much shaking in the machine causes too many repairs!

Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum Washer - The seal on the top of the drum is breaking down. It is cracking at the bleach and soap dispenser. Somewhere in the washer drum or plate is causing holes and cuts in the clothes. The machine is only 2 years old.

I purchased Whirlpool Slide-In 30 Gas SS Conventional Range. Terrible product quality. After about three years of use, the range shows an error message cooling fan is too low. I wasnt able to use the oven. Abt Services came in to do the repair. One month after the cooling fan was installed, the same message came up again. When Abt Services replaced the cooling fan again, the display was completely out. The cost of the repair parts is over $800. Are you kidding me! I paid $1500 for the range. Now I need to pay $800 to repair. Whirlpool didnt offer any discount for repairing the defective product but offered purchase similar product at a discount price. I will never ever pay a dime for Whirlpool product. It is a nightmare using the product. I learned my lesson. No Whirlpool product again in our house.

We purchased 3 Whirlpool Gold appliances, fridge, range and over-the-range microwave in 4/2011. Since that time, the fridge needed repair, the microwave door had to be replaced and the range had to be repaired. Now the heating element on the microwave went and Whirlpool will not fix the problem. We purchased the extended warranty through Whirlpool and they are saying it is not worth fixing. We paid $470.00 plus tax and install and now all they are giving us is $348.00. Since we have had repeated problems with these appliances, why not just fix the problem or replace the microwave??? What Whirlpool customer service told me was that would be options for us if we did not purchase their extended warranty. Tell me, is that fair? The cost to repair the microwave was $388.00 and they are giving us $348.00 - do you not think for the $40.00 difference, it would be worth to spend it to keep us happy. We will never purchase another Whirlpool product again and will tell everyone we know not to buy their products.

Easter is in five days. Our dishwasher purchased in December 2014 is not working. It has been broken since December 2015. Repairmen have been here THREE times. We were told that our warranty only covers parts and repair. Our dishwasher does not wash dishes. We went for a more expensive model and it didnt last a year. Whirlpool, remember your commercial?

I have always used Whirlpool products and have grown up with them. From washing machines to dishwashers. Not only is it made in the USA but its reliable. The only problem is space and it can do with more freezer space. Other than that its a great refrigerator.

Whirlpool Cabrio Washer - Owned this appliance for a couple of years and we are constantly receiving UL and F 51 codes on display. Washer stops spin mode after washer shakes violently.

My brand new top-loading, high efficiency washer has squealed like a banshee from day one. Whirlpool replaced the main agitator part, with no success. It still squeals so loud, you cant have a conversation in the same room. Now, Whirlpool says that it is normal. No, it is not normal for a washer to squeal so loud. I am still waiting on Whirlpool to replace the same part they replaced the last time. We are still not abe to hear each other over the squeal of our new Whirlpool washer. This is not normal.

Avoid Whirlpool refrigerators and dishwashers. Fridge sounds like someone’s trying to get out. Repair person said it’s icemaker and typical. Dishwasher has little friction gaskets that keeps the door from falling open. They’ve been replaced twice and found one on floor today. Plastic end of slider for upper shelf keeps falling off repairman replaced it showed me how to put it back on. This falls off regularly. Range has coils underliner of oven. Takes forever to preheat and self cleaner cycle is a joke. Million dollar condo with upgraded crap appliances.

Extremely disappointed in Whirlpool oven! Built new home and this was recommendation by BAC Appliance. The oven does not self-clean well at all, and my spills are minimal. Deposits between glass doors that cant be removed. Oven is barely cleaner than before I cleaned for full cycle. Oven suddenly shuts off for a short while and then restarts. Steam comes when using lower oven and removes finish on upper oven. I expected Whirlpool to have a quality product. Definitely not! BAC really had no answers for me.

I purchased Whirlpool gas range with AquaLift Self Cleaning Tech exactly a year ago. DOES NOT WORK!!! The only Self that cleans will be you on your hands and knees. Still dont know what to use. Manual says do not use oven cleaner or abrasive or you void the warranty. Ok Whirlpool any suggestions? Soap and mild detergent not cutting it. You would think with all the customers complaining about this feature the bright engineers that designed this would come up with a solution.

I bought Whirlpool dishwasher (silver, Golden Series), after one year it just stopped for nothing and the circuit controller failed with error code E2/F2. So it was expensive but turned out to be totally unreliable. I had to pay $200 to get extended warranty and still waiting for the parts!!! Worst experience ever (uh Golden Series, for me it is Plastic Series). Will never buy any product from this company again.
