I purchased a water heater Model # UG1H50400TBN, Serial # 0913T400920, from Lowes in Corona, CA. 05/07/2009 for $528 plus tax. I have replaced the following parts: 02/10/2010 Thermostat Valve, 07/23/2010 Thermostat Valve (2nd time), 08/10/2010 Burner assembly, 02/10/2011 Thermocouple, 02/17/2011 Thermostat Valve (3rd time), 12/17/2014 Thermocouple (2nd time) and 03/20/2015 Burner assembly (2nd time).Today I called WHIRLPOOL Customer service (877) 817-6750 because my water heater water is warm. I told the tech support agent that the pilot light was on so we agreed that it was the thermostat valve AGAIN. He wanted $30 for overnight delivery and I refused to pay. Now I have to go out and buy this part because Whirlpool like the Banks is too big to fail and they have license to RIP-OFF the consumer without penalties. Whirlpool has all of information and they can verify everything I wrote here just by the serial number.

I purchased a gold series whirlpool dishwasher on July 20th 2014. Today is Dec 31, 2015, for the past month I have been troubleshooting my dishwasher by myself. Because I had a maintenance man here already since I bought the dishwasher and due to Christmas cannot afford another 250 for another visit. Every time I try to wash, at end of any cycle I have tried using, I open the door and find the cascade soap sitting on the bottom of the tub, the dishes still wet and dirty. So I take them all out and hand wash them, I should not have to do this on a washer that is a little over one year old considering the price tag that I paid for it. I am not young anymore and if I wanted to hand wash dishes, I could have used that money for a nice vacation somewhere.The washer stops, start button blinking, I open it up, check it out to make sure everything looks ok, close it and restart again. It sounds like it is working, so I go about my business and come back an hour later to find the same issue. Dishes will not wash soap on the bottom of the tub again. This has been nothing but trouble since I purchased it. I have never had a problem with my old dishwasher until it got too old. On top of it all, I had to buy another clothes washer from the same manufacturer that now took over. This was only 5 years old and the motor burnt out. I had two maintenance men here from the Maytag/whirlpool company and they filled me in. So I had it hauled out of here and I bought an LG for another good price. It seems to me that it is all about money and they make nothing but crap. Now. I need to make another decision. About this POS dishwasher! What to do?

I purchased the refrigerator/freezer, Whirlpool model GX5SHDXVQ02, 2 years 10 months ago. It is now not keeping the refrigerator portion of the unit cold or even cool. It is 70 inside the refrigerator although the freezer portion is doing a fine job. This unit is not even 3 years old yet! To top it off, the unit only has one year warranty on any part. The repair person is now here and replacing the control board. This piece alone is costing me $184.12. Then the labor hours and service call. I should have trashed it and bought a new, different brand. Not even three years old. My last refrigerator/freezer lasted 13+ years with no problems.

I bought this washer because we are a family of 6 that washed a lot of laundry. I bought the extended warranty from Lowes but not sure if this thing can even be fixed. The guy has been out twice. Replaced the control panel. I cannot wash more than 3 towels or it comes unbalanced and goes crazy. I need this fixed. I am so irritated. A recall needs to happen.

We purchased a new refrigerator and dishwasher about three and a half years ago. There are only two of us living in the house and we both work so it is not like we use our dishwasher every day. Dishwasher is Whirlpool Whisper Quiet III Gold model. About three months ago, the panel lights quit working but the dishwasher would still run. Now the blasted thing will not even turn on. Our ice maker freezes up and we are always having to ice pick out the ice and clean out the ice maker. Basically, we never use it because we are tired of the process of cleaning it just to have ice. Now after reading reviews, I do not want to fork out the money to have a repair person come in and fix the dishwasher which most likely will break down somewhere else. Plus the dishwasher tray has a lot of broken tips and are rusty and I have actually had to file a few to keep from getting stabbed by the sharp point. The previous dishwasher worked great and had been in the house for over 15 years. I wish I could remember what brand it was. I only replaced it because I wanted one to match the refrigerator. I am appalled at the quality of the Whirlpool products. I have to get another dishwasher and I have other things that I need to spend my money on rather than a dishwasher. I wont buy another Whirlpool product as of September 13, 2013.

Purchased this refrigerator in 7/2017. I cant stand it. Its pretty and works, but the NOISE!! I bought a white noise machine and placed it on the countertop next to the refrigerator just to drown out the noise (very high pitched sound). Repairmen came out twice. A part was replaced, but nothing changed. Said have to live with it. Dont buy Whirlpool or youll go crazy listening to this all day, especially with an open concept home. You can hear it everywhere!

I had a perfectly good Kenmore range, but I didnt like the color. I purchased a Whirlpool 30-inch gas range at Lowes. I had problems immediately! The repairmen were at my house 6 times within the first year. My warranty expired and they wanted me to pay for an extended warranty. I refused to pay any more for this piece of junk! I fought with Whirlpool and demanded they either replace the range or reimburse me the full cost. They finally agreed, after many heated conversations, to replace or reimburse me as long as I promised not to purchase a Whirlpool product again. What kind of company would say that? A company that knows their product is defective and has poor customer service. I opted to take the new range that they promised wouldnt have the same problems. It is having the same issues as the original one. It shuts off in the middle of cooking and it is infuriating to say the least. I can promise Whirlpool I will never purchase a product from them ever again!

My Cabrio is only 4 years old and it stop working properly. I call a service technicians to repair it and after aol $45 service charge level, he tells me that it has a Motor capacitor defect at a cost of $360 to repair. So I have paid useless piece of junk. I out and purchased another washer only $150 more than the repair. I will never buy a Whirlpool product again. My last washer a Maytag (before Whirlpool bought them out) lasted over 20 years. So if you do not want to buy a new $600 washer every 4 years. Stay clear of Whirlpool.

We have had this Whirlpool Duet WFW9150 washer for 7 years, doing 2-4 loads a week. Overall we are quite satisfied with it. A few complaints: We are on a well, and so get the odd bit of crud in the water. The machine has filters on the inlet lines, but you must pull it out from the wall to get at them. The filters are hard to remove. If something goes wrong--power blip, or sensor something, you have to restart the cycle. There is no way to continue from where you left off. There are features I wish it had: Rinse with warm or hot water, a spin only cycle, And Im in a hurry and it isnt very dirty cycle (Shortest cycle is almost 2 hours). Whirlpool doesnt have a service center for our area. If we need repair we need to take it into town. This is inconvenient.

I love my Refrigerator. It is a side-by-side with ice-maker and water in the door. I have plenty of room in the refrigerator, and I really like the adjustable shelves. I would definitely purchase another Whirlpool (next time with freezer on the bottom). I love the Stainless and would probably purchase again - or depending on the kitchen maybe black.

I myself cannot believe this. We remodeled kitchen in 1992. Gradually we had to replace the appliances except Whirlpool dishwasher. It still works okay. Only sometimes the detergent tablet does not dissolve. Anyway after 21 years, we are replacing it with another WP dishwasher.

My Whirlpool Cabrio Washer is less than one year old and quit working. Sears was supposed to come out and fix it (I even have the extended warranty till 2014). Service never showed up; when we called, they told us we had been rescheduled. Here it is the rescheduled day time slot and they still have not arrived. Im getting the runaround from them and I am supposed to be grateful because they gave me a $75 gift card for my inconvenience. Im on hold with Whirlpool because I just want them to take the washer back. I have been told by Sears since it is over 90 days, they cannot refund my money. I just have to wait for a repair which may or may not happen since they may not have the parts. This is unsatisfactory service from both Sears and Whirlpool. I have always bought my appliances through Sears and they have always been Whirlpool. I wish I would have read all these reviews before I purchased this model.

I am very happy with this dishwasher. It is not a high end, rather middle of the road, but is very quiet, does a great job of cleaning my dishes and pots and pans.

My whirlpool Cabrio washer top load had the rust problems, bearing problems, support arms replaced along with the complete drive assembly motor bearings and all the parts. My bearings have failed 3 times since 2009. This machine is junk. Customer service at Whirlpool is a joke. They treat you as if you have had to do something wrong. Finally I spoke with a salesman who said speak with the warranty company. I have the extended warranty which I advise everyone who purchases an appliance to get one. So I spoke with them and they sent me a check for a new machine. I must say our warranty company has been very helpful. So THIS IS MY WARNING TO ALL. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM WHIRLPOOL. This is an AMAZING dryer. Probably the best I've ever used. My husband & I live in a mobile home so our main reason for purchase is the fact it is VENTLESS & it's compact. The dryer is so quiet. You can hardly hear it with a tv going. It doesn't take any more time to dry than another modern dryer. The end result are damp clothes, however there is enough steam and heat left in the bin at the end of the cycle to where if you fluff the clothes they'll be dry in a matter of seconds. The dryer acts as a dehumidifier by capturing moisture from the air it uses. All the features are up to date and easy to figure out. It's worked extremely well since we've had it and I'm happy to say we LOVE IT!

The stove is only 5 years old. The oven would not ignite. The gas was getting through, but theres no flame. Sears repaired it and put a complete flame and ignitor piece at a cost for a part of $132.00. I feel the stove is too new to have to replace anything. I am retired, so I do not use the oven often. I have only cleaned the oven one time in five years. It is very clean. I picked this stove out and paid $900.00, because I liked the style and everything about it. I feel you should look into this, and I should not have to pay for repairs in such a short time of ownership. The repair person said this stove already had an upgrade in it. Please respond. Does the whole heating element need replacing or just the ignitor?

We purchased Whirlpool Gold appliances because we thought that they had an excellent reputation? Wrong! Our Whirlpool refrigerator lining started cracking before the unit was 3 years old. Now its 7 years & cracks are so deep and there are so many of them, the refrigerator must be replaced. No help from Whirlpool when I called. Now remember, a refrigerator is supposed to last 14-17 years. 7 years is not acceptable!This is a known problem. If you Google refrigerator liner cracks Whirlpool youll see many of them. Unfortunately, Whirlpool will not accept responsibility for faulty design/manufacturing which leaves the consumer to be out of their hard-earned money. Before you ever buy a Whirlpool product, read the reviews and decide if Whirlpool not standing behind their products makes it worth it for you to buy them. I certainly dont recommend them! I also wish to tell you that a major crack was around the light housing and Whirlpool placed the light cover over it where it was concealed to the buyer. Youd never know it until the light cover would be removed for cleaning. Which wasnt easy to do since Whirlpool installed it with 2 sided sticky glue foam tape. Now thats really scum behavior!

I purchased the Whirlpool Gold OTC microwave model #GMH6185XVQ on November 29, 2010, and it was installed on December 26, 2010. After 18 months, the Magnatron went out. Its just me and my husband, and we eat out most of the time. So, it wasnt used a lot. I called Whirlpool, and Sherrie could only say that she feels my frustration. No, she doesnt. She has no idea. I just purchased $4000 worth of Whirlpool appliances, and now, I have no idea if they are going to last. It is a piece of junk that I paid good money for. In this day and time, we have to watch what we spend. I think Whirlpool should be a stand-up company and admit to taking our hard-earned money for a piece of junk. This is a good size fridge/freezer with double doors 25.4 cu ft, its given us good service for 13 yrs without any problems. My only complaint that I wish it was more quiet. (Whirlpool brand) double doors, ice maker w/ water and lights.

Whirlpool Microwave oven (Model # WMH1163XVS) handle cracked and Whirlpool told me the damage is cosmetic and they wont cover it. The microwave is only 7 months old and I am very easy on appliances! This is faulty workmanship and defective!

Whirlpool Cabrio Washer - After 15 months, washer bearing have gone out due to tub seal leaking. Repairs are $450 but repairman doesnt want to touch it due to he know it will go out again. Everything Whirlpool that I buy is junk these days! Whirlpool used to be one of the best brands, now, cheap China GARBAGE! My dishwasher will not fill enough to clean the dishes without setting it on pots and pans. Then it runs for hours and uses a ton of electricity! I tested the water fill cut off, after it fills it is not even close to lifting it and the switch works fine. I returned the Whirlpool dehumidifier I bought recently, it was junk as well!

We bought this double oven range and then find that two element cooktop sometime work and sometime do not even the indicator light is on. Please tell me how to fix it. It cause me headache.

I purchased this Whirlpool washing machine in July 2009. The repairman just gave us a $1400 estimate for repairs due to failure of bearings. This is an energy efficient, expensive appliance that we expected to last for years and we feel that 2 1/2 years of service is unacceptable. We did not purchase an extended warranty and Whirlpool said they would help with the cost of parts - not labor. We cannot afford to repair a lemon and so purchased an LG front-loading washing machine today. Hopefully we will have a better experience with LG as we will not be purchasing any more Whirlpool appliances ever.

She listened to our issue and was extremely understanding of our frustrations. The representative assured us that we were valued customers and offered to contact our local service provider and authorize the needed repairs to our refrigerator. This interaction has restored our faith in Whirlpool and its partner brands. The representative also provided guidance on future purchases in contacting Whirlpool to purchase its extended warranty.I would suggest using Whirlpools warranty program instead of a retailers program. Contact Whirlpool to purchase any extended warranties directly, instead of purchasing an extended plan at the time of purchase. Thank you to Whirlpool and to our extremely helpful representative. My wife and I purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washer 1 year and 4 months ago. Its just three of us in the house. We never overload the washer. Now the drum bearings in the washer have gone bad. I feel that a washer should last longer than 1 year and 4 months. I signed up for the Whirlpool Repair Plus 1 Service Plan which is supposed to cover repair plus 1 year additional warranty. I was told that it would cost more than $1000 to repair so they would only return service plan cost. Whirlpool used to have a dependable product and dependable service. I dont think I will be buying another Whirlpool.

I paid ~$1200 for a new Whirlpool (French door top fridge and pull out freezer bottom) 7 years ago when I bought my house. I was so excited - and the appliance has been a problem from the beginning. It has always made a very loud knocking noise - even when it was new. I was told by the technician there was nothing he could do and Home Depot wouldnt help me with it either. My freezer has gone out three times - the last time was the day before Christmas Eve 2016 (a few days ago). I lost everything for my Christmas dinner that was in my fridge because that went first.Then when the service man came today, I was told it was the freezer that is causing the problem and everything had to be defrosted - plus they had to order a part that would take 3 to 5 days - so Im now going to lose everything in my freezer as well. All in all with the three service calls and the food I have lost probably amounts to around $800 - $900. I am so upset and cannot get any help from anyone. So, Im just warning you - NEVER buy a Whirlpool!

They are good washers but they are overpriced. They have way too many functions for doing laundry. I know everyone wants their washer to do it all but the machines just can’t. There is no washing machine in the world that can sense a stain and pinpoint it and remove it.

You Have Been Warned! Do Not Buy A Whirlpool. We bought this Whirlpool washer from Lowes. It is a top loader without the agitator in it. The sales pitch was very good. One of the best washers on the market. It was less than 1 year old when it started getting out of balance. We would stop it and rearrange the clothes and start it back up. Over a few months it just got worse. Now, it will scare you when it gets out of balance. You cant set within 5 of it or it will run you over when it jumps, but you have to set close enough monitoring it or it will run out the door of the utility room after you. Now, I find out the Maytag has bought Whirlpool Corp. Not a good move for them. Whirlpool has mess its own name up, why would Maytag want any part of it? I dont think I will trust Maytag anymore either for fear it may be a Whirlpool.

The top of the range stays very hot. Not the burners -- just the top of the stove itself. Now the oven pilot wont light and there doesnt seem to be any sound or smell of gas when I try, though the range works fine.

I bought refrigerator in Feb 2017. Within 18 months internal surface got crack, contacted customer care but I would say Whirlpool India customer care department is worst across world, no courtesy towards customers, contacted them over phone very bad attitude, no response on email. Product quality is worst, its better to buy Indian brands. They are much better in quality & service. Totally dissatisfied with Whirlpool approach, at the end Whirlpool customer care is not at all bothered.

We purchased this Kitchen Aid stove December 7, 2016. I dont use the oven much, but have found that when it gets a little dirty and I use the Aqua Life function, it does not clean. Have tried by setting a pan of water in the bottom and raising the temperature to 300 degrees, but nothing cleans. We went with this feature to be more environmentally responsible. Leons, where we purchased the stove, claims that they have heard nothing of this issue and have not been informed of this by their head office.

I purchased a range and refrigerator from Whirlpool and have had nothing but problems with them ever since. Ive only had the range for years and (2) of the top burners are no longer working. Again, the refrigerator is only 5 years old and its handle has broken 5 times. I have needed to replace the handle every year that Ive owned the refrigerator. Whirlpool only offered a (1) years warranty for these faulty appliances and then immediately started to bug me about purchasing an extended warranty. I guess they knew that their junk would hold up, so they started pushing a warranty. Finally, their customer service while apologetic, are very robotic and appeared to have heard my complaint before. I was gifted a washer and ventless dryer for my condo. It takes a little longer than a regular dryer but it works great. It fits perfectly in a closet.

They sold me a defect refrigerator and after 2 months begging to see a technician, they are telling me that they are going to fix it. Im so tired of them trying to fix it. Theyve been here 4 times with no luck. All my food is rotten and frozen. And its a new refrigerator. Gosh. As you can see, the water in the plastic cup that I left in my refrigerator are frozen which is not supposed to happen. I feel that Im dealing with nonsense. They dont care. They just took my money and thats it. Im left with a new defect refrigerator that doesnt work. Ridiculous.

The machine is two years old. It cost over $1,000 to buy. From the beginning, we have had mold issues with the machine. The entire house fills with the smell of rotten eggs every time we use it. The machine is used daily so it doesnt sit for long periods. Despite all the complaints online about their machines, Whirlpool refused to acknowledge that there is a design problem with the machine. They refused to make any repairs or buy the machine back and their only suggestion was to buy more chemicals from them to use to clean the machine. We have done this in the past to no avail. Oh, they did offer to send out a service company but on my dime. Whirlpool needs to be sued and I only wish that someone would start a class action suit against them. It really stinks when you try and do the right thing and buy American only to have the company not give a crap about their customers or the fact that their product is garbage. About 10 years ago, I had a Maytag front loader washing machine with the same problem. Maytag bought the machine back on a pro-rated basis, no problem, no question. Of course, Maytag is now owned by Whirlpool. Too bad they didnt adopt Maytags customer service policy. I cant wait for them to go out of business - something they deserve.

Duet Washer GHW9150PH0 - The washer is about nine years old. Last year I got the dreaded F-11 error code, and had to purchase a new controller board and install it. Now the spider arm on the basket has snapped (cast part). Ive been on the phone with Whirlpool for over a half hour now, and all I get is We have to send a service tech out, and you have to pay for them. I have the broken part in hand, I know the Whirlpool part number, yet they want me to pay for a tech to come see the part and confirm it. Ive been unable to talk to a manager yet, none are available.Eventually the lady agreed to replace the broken basket, after telling me at least five times she could not, but she refused to replace the tub which was destroyed when the basket broke. Ill be calling back to talk to another agent soon.

Purchased Feb 2013 - worked okay until one month ago. Now stalls in the drain and spin cycle. The rotation of the drum sounds awful, makes a loud grinding noise. I tried doing the diagnostic reset of holding the Temp button in for 3 sec, release, 3 sec more but that didnt work. Also, I have noticed clothes are DRY after the Wash cycle! Managed to interrupt the wash and unlock the lid and was very disappointed. This is not a good quality piece of equipment. This seems to be a very common problem. How unfortunate.

Purchased Maytag Washer and Dryer online from orange big box home improvement store. Washer had a twisted drain hose inside so it wouldnt drain right. Fixed that myself, but it still wont drain right. The spin cycle is weak at best - towels require a second, sometimes third, spin cycle. The dryer does not heat up like it should on the standard setting. The end of cycle buzzer/beeper on both units is truly pathetic... you better be within 6 feet of the machine when the buzzer goes off or youll never hear it. Having worked for a blue big box home improvement center for 7 years installing appliances, I know all too well the rabbit hole Whirlpool is trying to push me down. All I want is to return the Maytag and go back to a Whirlpool, but the not so pleasant lady on the phone with Whirlpool said all they can do is send out a technician, no returns on appliances. Buyer beware, be very aware!

I bought a house with Whirlpool appliances and I bought the extended warranty for all the appliances, I started to have issues with the refrigerator almost 4 months ago and still waiting for results, do not buy whirlpool products, every time you call the warranty department be prepared to spend at least one hour waiting for a customer representative. Buy LG or GE instead. These are excellent brands that I have owned in the past.

I sent a letter and the part to the CEO of Whirlpool. They sent a repairmen to fix it free of charge. When you have a problem with a Whirlpool product go to the head of the company. If they get enough calls they will make better parts. Call 1-269-759-6919. Write a letter, return request receipt. It takes a little effort, but it helps a lot of people.

We purchased the Whirlpool Gold Series smooth top stove from Lowes in December of 2013. The stove is not even 2 years old and it doesnt work. Last September, I noticed a few times that while baking food in the oven, it was burnt after only 10 minutes, due to a runaway temperature. After that, the oven wouldnt heat up properly, it would take too long to bake anything because the temperature wouldnt reach the reading on the display. Then it just stopped baking or broiling all together with the error Feature unavailable. Weve had a serviceman out at least 3 times. Of course, the warrantys run out and its cost us close to $500 to keep fixing it, and two motherboards and a bottom element later, its still not fixed. They wanted to order 2 more parts at our expense, but we cant continue trying to fix this lemon. I will be shopping for another oven, and will never recommend Whirlpool to anyone.

OMG. We had just purchased a house in Clermont Fl. At Appliance Direct on Citrus Tower, worse experience. Imagine my husband and myself had recently retired. Therefore we wanted to make sure whatever we purchased was to last since its not easy to replace anything on our fixed income. A few mos later the ice maker would make noise in the middle of the night and would not fill up completely. 1 yr it stopped making ice completely. We went to Appliance Direct only to find out that nothing could have been done. We purchased the extra warranty for approx 391 dollars. We then were told by Whirlpool that we would have to wait 60 days. The time came and the customer service now tells us that the breakdown happened the same month we purchased the warranty so we would have to pay ourselves to have it fixed. We went ahead and paid for the repair.A few mos after the ice maker stopped again and the bottom freezer would not freeze anything. Our food spoiled etc. We called Whirlpool now that the warranty was now ok. We had to wait for an appointment with the company of their choice. The repairman came and stated that the part had to be ordered before we can get ice and freezer working. Waited almost 2 weeks for that. Repair done and soon after, like 4 days later we still didnt have ice. Called again, another company was sent... all over again we waited for 2 parts.. He assured us that we should be good. 2 mos now were getting half capacity ice and freezer doesnt freeze everything. Ice cream is a no no.So much money (2500 dollars) paid for that piece of junk. The repairman told us “forget about replacement, the company will send a repairman once a month if they have to“. Its frustrating and some days I wish I could just put it on the sidewalk for the garbage truck. I cant afford to go out and buy a new one (of course it would not be Whirlpool). In the meantime this company Whirlpool is making all this money from selling these junk. I am mad like hell and tell everyone to stay away from Whirlpool. I wish Id purchased a Samsung instead. I could climb the top of a mountain and shout: Dont buy Whirlpool.

I purchased 4 Whirlpool appliances late 2014. The French door refrigerator close to a year later made a piercing sound several times during a day. I immediately contacted Whirlpool and the representative directed me to YouTube to listen to the normal sounds the refrigerator would make. My first thought was I have been a homeowner for 30 years and countless appliances and never heard such a horrible sound. At the same time they sold me an extended warranty over the phone. He assured me sounds were covered. The sound just kept getting louder and more frequent. I could not take this piercing sound and called back. They sent a local repair service. At the time the repair person came out the refrigerator was not making the sound. I played a video recording and the repairman even said what an terrible sound it was. He continued to check everything over and said - everything looks good. I dont know what the sound is coming from. I asked, What is Whirlpool going to do? He said, nothing, the warranty ran out and your extended warranty does not cover sounds. What a ripoff! Now the drawers broke and another thing they wont cover! I also have problems with the dishwasher I purchased at the same time. Even putting on the extended hot dry I need to wipe everything off. I should have just open a window a tossed out over 2k. The sound is so horrible I am being forced to junk the refrigerator and purchase a new one. Dont purchase Whirlpool and never purchase extended warranty over the phone.

I have purchased a Whirlpool microwave oven last year (October). It is not working properly now & not heating well. Regarding this I have registered a complaint in the service center & Customer Care but we have not received any reply for this.

I purchased a 50 Gal. Whirlpool gas water heater on Saturday, 12/31 to replace a 20-yr old unit that had failed. The unit was installed that day and it started right up but I noticed the burner had gone out about an hour later and the status light indicated FV Sensor Lockout. I tried calling Whirlpool but their customer service was closed. I tried troubleshooting myself using manuals and Internet forums without success. Everything I could find indicated that an FV Sensor failure could not be repaired and would require replacement parts. I called Lowes and was told they could not help me and I would need to talk to Whirlpool.I called Whirlpool again Sunday, 1/1, but they were closed again for the Holiday. I called two plumbers and both told me that the Whirlpool units were problematic and that if they did come out, there would be little they could do except charge me a lot of money and recommend parts to order as Whirlpool does not let them stock parts. Both plumbers also suggested that I consider buying another brand.So I went to Home Depot and purchased another brand with similar specs. I installed it that day and it fired up right away and has been running fine ever since.I talked to Whirlpool on Monday, 1/2, and they told me they would not issue an RMA for a unit that they considered usable. They also told me there was an FV Sensor reset procedure that they would have walked me through had I been able to talk to them that would have bypassed the sensor until a replacement could be installed. I told them that if they would publish this procedure in their manuals or on the Internet, I would have certainly done that. Im now fighting with both Whirlpool and Lowes to get a resolution to this problem. Im not sure about other Whirlpool products but their Water heaters seem to be very problematic.

Cabrio washer and dryer are not energy saver by any means! Have had the pair for almost 1 year and have spent at least 3 years of washing and drying time with these. What use to take 30 minutes to wash now takes at least 48 or more and the dryer has to be run twice on lots of loads to dry! The other thing is, with no water in the tub it really does not have a soak cycle to get really dirty stuff clean, so you wash things 2 or 3 times! Now I know why I see these washers and dryers like new in the used stores for $200 to $300. Thanks for the junk Whirlpool.

One year old Whirlpool gas oven/range w messed up control panel. Every brand new Whirlpool so far has broken or is messed up within first year of purchase. I am going to complain to BBB.

A couple of years ago, we had 2 natural gas hot water heaters installed. We immediately had a service call to replace the thermostat on one of them. Then recently, the other one had to be replaced because of the leaky tank. It was still in warranty, and we had to pay $425 for the old one to be removed and the new one installed. Now, this one has a bad thermostat and the A & E Factory Service is coming tomorrow to install the new thermostat. We have been inconvenienced by this for a couple of weeks as we have no hot water in the master bath. We were just lucky that we had one hot water heater working in the other part of the house. I think that Whirlpool should have paid the $425 for the installation as the original hot water heater was in warranty. Now, I hope that tomorrows visit will be covered by the warranty. Next time we need an appliance, we will not be purchasing a Whirlpool.

I bought my Cabrio washer 16 months ago to service a family of 4 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. Anything that has the slightest stain has to be pre-rinsed or pre-washed in the sink before going into the washer. Every load is an unbalanced load. Although the floor is perfectly level, the washer bucks and dances as though it is possessed. I never expected a $900 washer to be a piece of junk. I would love to be part of a class action lawsuit regarding this washer.

I had a 14-year-old 40-gallon tank that was working great but I decided it was time to get it replaced. I picked out a Whirlpool 400-gallon tank stated to be good for a family of 3 to 4 people. Immediately after installation, I got complaints from family members that there was no enough hot water for morning showers. I turned up the thermostat to the maximum 140 degrees, but there was still wasnt enough hot water. The Whirlpool rep on the phone stated that 3 people cant take back-to-back showers. The unit wasnt designed for this. I told him the unit is advertised for a family of 3 to 4 and I have only 3. I asked where on the advertisement does it state 3 people cant take back-to-back showers? His response was, Where does it state you can? I asked his name and he would not give it to me. If 3 people cant take showers on a unit stated to be for a family of 3 to 4, something is wrong. Maybe it should be advertised as suitable for a family of 1. I will not buy a Whirlpool product again and I advise others to take my advice, go elsewhere.

On 2-26-13 I received my new Whirlpool Refrigerator, Model WRF989SDAE, KSN 4191832, 28.6 cu ft, french door for a price of $2500.00. November 2014, refrigerator stopped working. Though it was not under warranty any longer, the repair company advised me that the problem was a warranty item and repaired it at no charge. This process took several hours of work by the repairman and two visits. He advised that this is an issue with the refrigerator and Whirlpool is aware. Now, May 2015, only 6 months later, ice is building up on the back wall of the freezer and the freezer is running constantly and very loud. Bringing in repair person, hopefully before it stops again. Appears to be related to the initial issue. I cannot trust this refrigerator and would highly advise everyone not to purchase a Whirlpool refrigerator. Refrigerator needs to be replaced, not repaired.

Another person with problems called this a giant Whirlpool paperweight and he is so right! I received delivery of a Cabrio WTW7800XW3 washer on December 17, 2011. I had an issue (stopped in the middle of the cycle and flashed the letter “F” on the control panel) with it on January 2nd. I called and scheduled service. I had unplugged the machine and a few days later I replugged it and it started to work, so I cancelled the service call. In March, the problem started again. It just adds a little bit of water and then stops. Since then I have had repairmen out 6 times with 8 new parts installed and the washer still doesnt work. Now, the control panel won’t work. Whirlpool refuses to replace the machine. The repairman says these are the worst machines (any of the ones that are top load and have a clear top) he has ever seen and that I should buy an extended warranty. He says the bearings in the tub wear out among other things. On one of the repair visits, the serviceman found a chewed up pair of baby pajama pants. The machine makes a really loud noise like a jet engine taking off whenever it spins and the clothes are not clean. Whirlpool says that the warranty does not cover replacement of a defective machine. I have since researched the machine and have discovered that there have been problems with this line of machine for years. So, why are they still selling them? I am hoping for a class action suit. The company should stand by their products. I will never purchase a Whirlpool (or any other brand manufactured by Whirlpool) product again. I have had the machine for 4 months and it has been usable for about 2 of them.

Bought it less than 2 months ago. It doesnt wash. It doesnt spend. It works every 2-3 hours if Im lucky. Its the worst product ever. Its not like it was refurbished. It was brand new. Smh. I thought it would save me money by buying a washer. Off to the laundromat I go. I do not recommend this product especially to someone who has a family and on a budget.

I bought a water heater in 2008 from Lowes department store. The heater would continually go out causing no hot water. The company had sent several technical repair men out to resolve this problem, and still the problem remains. The Technical Support requested that they will pay for the part and I could install it, not knowing if I am able to do such a job. The technicians who were sent to my home were not able to do the job. How do they expect me to do the job without proper experience? Whirlpool products are not reliable nor is their maintenance contract. Stay away from this company.

We bought a new Whirlpool counter depth side by side stainless steel refrigerator in January 2012. We have had 7 service calls because things were freezing on the top shelf. They installed a new part and it still froze. They told us to do dumb stuff at Whirlpool like turn the temp up, dont use the top shelf, etc. The money they want for these appliances and you should put a band aid on it to make it function properly? Duh? The final fix was to duct tape the vents to allow less air flow. This appliance should have been recalled. I have since read reviews and it is an ongoing problem. Before buying, do your homework and make sure the other brands are not manufactured by Whirlpool. The Whirlpool hotline for problems is not that service friendly, they have an attitude. I need to replace two more appliances and they will not be Whirlpool. The repair service was great but they are independent companies, not Whirlpool. How do you fix a lemon? Consumers need to be aware of this. Whirlpool would rather spend money on repairs that did not work instead of replacing the appliance. If you want 7 or more repair visits and no results, buy Whirlpool.

What happened to the Whirlpool Corporation that we grew up with? I purchased a Cabrio Washer on 8-29-11. Here it is, 4-24-13 and the transmission is shot. Two loads of clothes were ruined and sensors went bad. All in all, over $500 to repair it. I called the customer service line, what a joke - bad product and worse customer service. Not even and Im sorry. Well it is out from under warranty and when I buy something, I research it first, she said. Wow! Thanks Reena for all your care and concern. Purchased a Whirlpool washer 14 months ago... however just unboxed the washer. Installed it in our new home. Now after just two, repeat, two months of use, there is water all over the hardwood floors... The front door seal is gone to the tune of $100 but what about my floors!!!!!! Im so discouraged after reading all the complaints that Im falling out of my chair. Seal design has been the same on most all their front loaders. DO NOT BUY A FRONT LOADING WHIRLPOOL WASHING MACHINE. YOU WILL BE SORRY YOU DID. Yes they look pretty. My parents old top loader washer lasted over 35 years without a repair and we washed clothes for four people.

This refrigerator well paid for itself. I had over 25 years and it was still in good working condition. I had to leave it behind. I moved to a place where fridge was already. I hated to leave it behind. ‘twas offered to Goodwill but they never answered the phone for it. I surely hope someone got it.

The machine never allows enough water to clean the clothes and I do not have the option to add more water or to spin the clothes again. The maker of this machine must think that people do not have the ability to know how to wash clothes or think for themselves. I need a washer that I can tell to add more water or just spin these clothes again. Very disappointed. I need an older model that I can control.

This piece of junk just broke down not even one year after the purchase. Every singe Whirlpool washing machine has broken one way or another. This one will set the wash time for 57 minutes, and exactly 24 minutes left in the cycler, you hear this big crash and then everything stops. Another dumb thing about this piece of crap is that when the problem happens, the POS keeps the lid locked so that you cant tell what the problem is. What morons would put a lock on the lid? Its not like someones going to take a jacuzzi bath!Restarted the POS again, and exactly 24 minutes left on the wash cycle, there was another crash. Both times, exactly 24 minutes. NEVER BUY FROM WHIRLPOOL!

Purchased my first Whirlpool refrigerator, model WRF989SDAM00, in 2012. Six service calls later, Whirlpool replaced it with the same exact model. I am now on my 4th service call with the 2nd refrigerator because of dripping ice maker, fan going out in freezer, condensation continually dripping on everything in the refrigerator. Finally, last week, I had enough & wrote certified letters to Whirlpools corporate offices, the service company they sent out to fix it, which was a nightmare by the way and the Better Business Bureau. I am still without a working refrigerator after two months!!!This is two lemons that Whirlpool has sold me in less than two years and the service has been horribly unacceptable!!! I am at my wits end. Today I wrote to the Attorney General. Whatever you do, DO NOT buy this model refrigerator!! It has been a nightmare!! !

Whirlpool Duet $1300, in the past we had great service from other Whirlpool products. Just a more modern look and knowing it was a company we had used in the past with very little or no problems so we expected the same only with energy and water savings. We are energy aware and believe in conserving energy and water where we can. My wife wanted to stick with the brand that gave us good service in the past and chose one of their most conservative units on the market (I believe it was based mainly on looks). What burns me the most about this unit is its constant consumption of clothing, the repair guy found nothing askew with the unit and suggested smaller loads. So we reduced the load size smaller and smaller till we were washing each outfit separately and guess what, it still ate clothes, just chews them up.We lose about a hundred dollars a month in clothing. This washer tears holes and shreds clothing on almost every load, I have to put shirts and lighter clothes to the back of the washer then load the heavier blue jeans and such toward the front and hope they finish in the same position or something is ruined. The fabric becomes distressed, stretched, shredded or has holes, or any combination of the above. We have taken to going to a laundromat or sending clothes to the cleaners. These units are three years old and we are now looking for a replacement for the washer because the local service guy won’t even come out any more. This problem surfaced within a week of the first use of the machine and has remained steady, as we are retired and travel a lot we are not always using them so they are what I would term very lightly used.

Had washer since 2016. Have NEVER washed a load where there was not a problem from washer dancing to having clothes come out without water ever touching them. Would NEVER recommend Whirlpool! Hi team, I have to lodge this complaint after because of getting continuous problems I have suffered with my Whirlpool fully automatic washing machine top load 11 kg bloom wash 360 degree. I purchased the abovesaid brand new washing machine on 1st Jan 2017. Since the purchase I am struggling with this machine. I raised the fault in the beginning itself and the service was done on 5th of Feb. Jobs sheets enclosed here with.Similar issues kept on arising and whenever I raised those issues with the whirlpool team, they mentioned that company policy is to repair the faulty part if it’s in warranty and they will not replace. They suggested me to go for the AMC and to be on the safer side, I also took AMC under warranty period only. (AMC card - My cheque dates and service details all are mentioned onto it.) Recently I faced another issue on 26th Feb for which ticket was raised. Engineer visited on 27th Feb and advised us to replace the motor part. On 3rd March they replaced motor mechanism and ball-bearings. Then engineer advised us to check the working by giving a trial wash.I started the machine to wash clothes and after 20 mins machine started making abnormal noise. (I have made video of it, audio of the video captured the noise). I again called up the service engineer immediately and informed him about the voice coming out of machine and he gave a lame answer by saying “It is normal sound”. Then I again called Whirlpool and requested senior engineer visit to resolve the issue. Senior engineer visited and told us that one of motor screw wasn’t tighten properly. It opened while running the machine which completely damaged the motor.After that I am continuously calling to service centre to get the updates on my machine motor replacement. Finally they mentioned that they dont have motor part available with them due to company ceased this model productivity. When I raised this issue with the Whirlpool team they mentioned that they can only pay 40% of the machine value, because I had AMC. However, I did mention that this damage is caused by the negligence of their service engineer, but they didn’t discuss anything about it.When I continuously chased them they dropped me an email to refund only the 40% of the machine value. I feel cheated and harassed!! When I bought the machine they gave us 10 years warranty now they mention that motor is not available as it’s a 5 years old model. My grievance is that since I had already taken the AMC and the damage was also caused by their engineer, why I have to bear the loss. I have already struggled a lot with this machine since last 5 years from the day I bought this machine and now I am losing my hard earned money. Kindly do the needful. Fridge was purchased in Feb 2012 from one of the home improvement store chains - along with an extended warranty. It worked flawlessly for about two years, at which point it began draining into the freezer compartment and eventually onto the floor (up to a quart or more at a time). Initially this was a rarer occurrence, happening once every few weeks - but has recently become more and more commonplace.The extended warranty purchased with the appliance covered direct repairs, but am told it will not cover the associated damage to the hardwoods. The local technician contracted for repairs was familiar with the root cause and was able to diagnose immediately upon viewing the brand and style of fridge. As was explained, the drain systems are of extremely poor design leading to icing and blockage of the drain itself during defrost cycles. The only fix at that point is to essentially turn the refrigerator completely off (remove power) and manually defrost the entire thing. The repairs were conducted same day as this review, and as such I am unable to say whether or not the fix is a lasting one.As a note, Ive not experienced any other mechanical or electrical failures or shortcomings with this model. It cools effectively and properly and has not had any history of trouble with making ice - as some other reviewers have experienced. The door containing the ice dispenser (left side) however, does not stay open, swinging shut from full open in a little over 4 seconds. Im still awaiting a complete estimate on the floor, but an initial value on damages is in excess of $1,000. Given current knowledge and the opportunity to choose again, I would select another manufacturer.

I bought this Whirlpool dishwasher 3 years ago and the first time I used it I was completely blown away. We can run it at night and never hear it. The first time I turned it on I had to go back and check it to make sure it was on.

So we registered a complaint regarding same. On 3rd July your one executive came and he asked that its compressor is not working and we have to refill gas also and charges will be 2000 rupees for Gas and compressor is under warranty. Then on 4th July your another executive came with compressor and he worked for 1 hr on fridge then he asked, Compressor is not taking load. My senior will come tomorrow, mujh se nahi ho raha. On 5th July morning we got a call and he asked that he will come till evening. Now we got a call. They are asking that its not under warranty. Hum log paso mai dhik kar sakte hai. When purchased in 2014 last ist thing its under warranty only they have told us for 10 yrs. And we have purchased 4 yrs + back not 5 yrs completed. Apart from your customer service guys we never shown this to any one else as its under warranty, I am clearing this thing on prior notice. Senior are not taking action. They are asking we can do it in money. They are asking, If you want to go consumer court you can go.

Had washer less than 1 year and washer stopped and was flashing code F 51. Called Whirlpool and they sent a repair person. He worked on it and didnt fix problem. Called Whirlpool back. They had to order parts. Repairman came back - replaced parts. Now not 6 months later same thing happening. Whirlpool said we have to pay for labor to repair again. We went online after this happened the first time and saw where others had same problem - this washer should be recalled. The repairman said this part was corroding. This should not be happening on a new washer. We will never buy another Whirlpool product again!!!! Im concerned that it will keep repeating over and over and we paid 700+ for this washer not 1 1/2 ago. My last washer lasted 15 years!!! Wasnt a Whirlpool!!!

Purchased Duet Washer and Dryer just over a year ago. Recently liquid detergent has been seeping into the tumbler and damaging clothes if theyre not removed immediately after wash in complete. The precision dispenser cartridge is the culprit in my opinion. Its suppose to dispense detergent as needed however it doesnt stop dispensing. Called Whirlpool and received no satisfaction. I would not recommend the Duet washer as a new purchase. I have to pay the price for Whirlpools experimental dispensing device and I dont think its fair. Its a flawed device and they should fix it.

I like this refrigerator. Its a two door. I did not get an icemaker and I have plenty of freezer room. The milk will stay fresh at least for a month. I like the crispers. They keep my food fresh. It keeped the Romain lettuce very fresh on the package, it was pick 7/31/2019 and just have a fresh green Salad Sept 6, 2019. Easy to move when wanting to clean the floor.

I love my stove and all of its features. My stove is easy to clean and I Love the self cleaning oven. I have a flat top so that helps when it comes to cleaning, not to mention it makes cooking a breeze. I love all the push buttons and how smart my stove is. I highly recommend my Whirlpool to anyone looking for a great appliance.

Purchased the fridge in 10/2014. 3 weeks later, condenser died and all our food spoiled. 1 year later, no more warranty, starter died, had it replaced for $280.00. Compressor died today 5/2019. Company refuse to do anything about it and will cost close to $1000 to replace compressor. Stay away from this company and their products.

We purchased a Whirlpool french door refrigerator 10 months ago. We have had issues with it freezing up and not cool or making Ice. In 10 months we have had repair work done on the same issue 3 different times. This refrigerator has been discontinue at the time of my purchase because whirlpool was aware of all the issues from what the repair people have told me. Shame on me for not researching this refrigerator. Customer service was no help. All they kept saying is that they will keep repairing it under the warranty. DONT buy a whirlpool. Stay far away from this company and anything they make. They do not stand behind the products.

My husband and I purchased a new Maytag top load washing machine from Best Buy in May 2017. On June 19th, a month later, as I am washing, all of a sudden the machine dies down. I checked everything from the outlet, the plug to the circuit breaker, and nothing seemed to help get my washer to start up again. Unfortunately I had wet clothes inside and the lid is one of those that locks itself and it would not open. :( I called Whirlpool/Maytag to explain my situation and could not believe that they told me that they only have 1 authorized appliance repair dealer they work with in my area and that they didnt show any available appointments until 4 weeks from now? WHAT? Are you kidding me? I could not wait that long, especially since I had soaking wet clothes sitting inside the washer.I asked if I called someone else myself and have it repaired sooner, would they reimburse me for the expenses. They refused to do that and told me I need to wait for their own authorized repair dealers. Talk about bad customer service here :( My husband called them back and asked to speak to a supervisor at Whirlpool and was told that it shouldnt have to be that long for us to wait for repair so why was I told that in the first place? The supervisor proceeded to tell my husband that we will get a call back in 5 days? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? 5 days just for someone to CALL us? And then have to wait longer to get our service done? No way!We think that Whirlpool sold Best Buy a lemon and we are paying for it! Why cant they say that they will get in touch with Best Buy so they can deliver a new working machine and take this lemon back? We are not happy with their responses so we will be paying Best Buy a visit to see what else we can do. Im 60, I know how to load a washer. Well it got worse and worse and finally went kaput. Its going to cost over $100 to fix the springs and I was told it was your lemon and all that brand was bad. I have always liked Whirlpool products but it seems lately they are lagging in this department. My washer/dryer combo each separate I dont feel are doing the job they should be. Washer is the bigger problem. Softner dispenser not distributing the softner correctly and now I have to clean out after each use. These are about 10 years old now. Is not spinning all the water out and not at all sure if clothes are getting clean. Most of their products usually lasted much longer back a few years.

We bought a gas Whirlpool Stove from Lowes. We noticed it was not heating like our last stove and thought maybe because it was new. No the stove does not heat properly at all. I cooked a pork loin for 40 minutes at 350 and it was still raw in the middle. I have had to cook everything on 375 which makes the door handles and knobs very hot. I called Lowes and they patched me into Whirlpool after a 45 minute wait. The rep from Whirlpool said, you can look at the manual and figure out how to calibrate it. No I cant. I have a warranty that is what it is suppose to cover. Then I was on hold for another 20 minutes. Really no one should tell you to read a manual to fix a gas stove. I will not buy another Whirlpool item. Poor customer service and that make you feel you are bothering them.

We bought an oven built in from IKEA - Whirlpool. It didnt work from the beginning. We called for a technician, who comes in the next day, took the defective part and ordered a new one. Took two weeks to arrive. Now I just found out that I will have to wait another week for somebody to come and install the replaced part. I am very disappointed with their way to serve me as a client. I explained to them that itd be nice if the technician it will come at the first hour in the morning ex. 9 am so I can go back to work after that. Which is not possible. The tech is more important than you as a customer. The technician will give you a 2 hours windows to arrive and after that who knows how long it will take the repair. So far I have this build-in-oven in the kitchen just for design, is not useful I doubt that it will be working soon. The lady who called me from Whirlpool Canada was giving me theyre the option in the manner or take or leave it.To be honest, I regret buying this oven, so far I havent used. Wasted my time trying to get them to be more efficient, but got the message from them that I dont matter. Never been treated so wrong by somebody who is working in customer service. I asked for supervisor or a manager, and they told me they are not allowed to give any of those on the phone... Buying this oven was a mistake, trying to deal with them another mistake. I dont recommend to anybody this oven or dealing with Whirlpool Canada.

We bought this fridge 1 year ago. We have already been without a fridge from Oct 2016 to Jan 30, 2017 due to a drawer going bad which caused the whole thing to quit. Now it has an obstruction in the Freon lines that causes it to freeze up and not cool. It was deemed not repairable by service company sent by Whirlpool/KitchenAid, and yet they want one more test run. The last person I spoke with at customer service had a flippant attitude and said there are no notes. What they do is drag you along for so long, make you wait and abuse you with tests, and hope you finally give up and go away. I will never buy another thing with Whirlpool/KitchenAid stamped on it!

This is a good looking, inexpensive stove/oven. Stove top has four burners. I liked the split grates on the stove top. Its easier to remove and clean. I do not like the rubber seal on the oven door. I am used to the heavier duty seals on most oven doors.

Whirlpool front loader duet washer WF9400SW01 - I bought this washer brand new in 2007. The rubber ring by the door started to grow mold after 2 years, the washer collects water after wash. Water was dripping down to the drum and sit there. If I forget to check and drain it by turning on in the rinse cycle, it wets the entire floor. And it sounds like a freight train after 4 yrs when it spins. My last washer lasted 20 years and it was a whirlpool top loader. Thought I might get that with this one.. but NOT.

Had unit about 4 yrs. No problem with unit, work great. Easy to clean, stand up to every day use, heat dishes and popcorn three level no issues, heat dishes, defrost items, cook food at several levels.

I was very excited about the performance of the washer as far as reduced water usage and reduced electric usage. After about 6 months though, I couldnt figure out why a lot of clothes, sheets and drapes came out with streaks on them. Very expensive to replace! Of course, the business I bought them from tried to get me to buy all types of fixes that had nothing to do with the problem and therefore couldnt answer me why this was happening. I am not crazy about a lengthy lawsuit. I am crazy about hoping the washer dies so I can go back to a less fancy washer that did the job better than this expensive monster!

I had the best experience when I purchased my washing machine and dryer. The personnel were professional and very pleasant. I am quite pleased with my washer and dryer. I have had a couple of minor problems but the warranty that I had on them was excellent.

For the last 5 years, 3 Whirlpool dishwashers. For these years been tracking to see how long they will work, but it seem like they are not build to satisfy the customer. Many telephone calls to service, but they will use the same lines, Nothing we can do... your extended warranty expired. From now on will look for a different brand.

We purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio, top load washing machine WTW6600SW back in 11/07. Last week (todays date is 8/19/11), the machine sounded like a plane taking off when it spins out. When the local service technician came out this week, he said that the bearings are shot. Since the tub and bearings are all one part, we were told by the technician that the part and labor costs would be $379.99 to repair it. We originally paid $799.00 for the Cabrio, less than four years ago. Whirlpool would not even give us a concession of a new tub and bearing part as it was out of the 1 year warranty.

Whirlpool hot water heater - The water coming from the faucets when it is hot is red. Therefore, I contacted Whirlpool and was informed that the anode has failed. The anode is not covered because, according to this company, it is not considered a working part. It baffles me that the anode is not a working part since it keeps the tank from rotting. I have only had the hot water tank for three years and this part has failed causing my hot water to be red. Since this company contradicts itself, I either have to live with red hot water (rust) or replace the part on my own. Unlike your company, Lowes has customer service. They apologized and will be paying for half of the expense for the part. Unfortunately, I still must pay for an employee to replace the part. This whole situation is absolutely ridiculous. I will never be purchasing another item from your company and in addition to that, I will tell everyone I know to avoid this company at all costs. You should strongly consider revising this policy before you lose all of your customers.

Our dishes always come out completely clean and without spotting. I dont like having to get down into the machine and clean out the filter/trap, so I pre-rinse everything that goes into the machine, so that might help. Regardless, this machine does an excellent job. This is the Whirlpool Gold Series bought in 2013. It has numerous settings, such as delay, varying cycles, air dry, heat dry, etc. All the features work as expected, but like most owners probably do, I leave it set on the same settings all the time. It does what I want and does it very quietly. This is a standard, under-counter, full-sized machine. The outside of the dishwasher is stainless and the inside has a plastic lining. The controls are at the top of the front door, so that leaves the front completely clean-looking. Love it.

Defective Product: I had to replace the fan motor on my refrigerator, which is barely 3 years old. I contacted the company and they told me it was out of warranty. I asked the repair person if he see this problem a lot and he said no. I have had other Whirlpool products which lasted for decades.

When doing any cooking on this range, there are ALWAYS brown or black marks on the white enamel. When I try to clean it using the methods recommended by Whirlpool, they will not come off and the top looks terrible. Using stronger things to clean it removes the finish. They state its not covered under warranty - I will not ever buy Whirlpool again... EVER! Buyer beware! Model #wfg510s0aw2.

Front load is terrible. Doesnt wring clothes thoroughly. Runs for 1 hour on fastest cycle. A HUGE WASTE OF ENERGY! NOT A GOOD MACHINE!!! Our clothes are wet always after the spin cycle. It also doesnt do small throw rugs. Awful!
