This machine (Cabrio) is a piece of junk. It does not fill up with enough water to cover the clothes, even on deep wash and your detergent will still be sitting on top at end of wash and clothes are not clean. It was a $900.00 machine. We need to file a class action law suit. Worthless waste of money. Anyone know of any remedies to get a new machine from Whirlpool or of any class action suits?

Bought a stainless steel Whirlpool Gold bottom freezer in 2011. I purchased an extended warranty from Lowes (4) years, and still have another year left on it. Im constantly having to mop up puddles that form under the right front of the refrigerator. I read someone elses review with the same issue along with a sheet of ice forming in the bottom of the freezer and having to chip it out so the freezer drawer will close! Im calling the warranty company today.

I purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer from Best Buy. I purchased one on sale that was a great value. The delivery and set-up went well. However, the model I have had a loud vibrate. The drum in the washing machine would wobble and shake across the floor. I finally had to return it and replaced with same model. I experienced the same issue after 30 days. I didnt take the insurance out and I regret that move.

Our Whirlpool refrigerator breaks down after two weeks of purchase. I purchased a Whirlpool fridge for my son and his wife as a house and new baby gift. Just two weeks later, the fridge was not cooling and seemed to not be working. The technician was called, and he confirmed that the fridge was not working. We called the shop where the fridge was purchased from and advised they would not refund or replace the fridge. We are now forced to wait for a replacement part that could take up to 2 months to arrive. And there is no guarantee this problem will not reoccur with a new part, as per the technician. I called Whirlpool and lodged a complaint, but that went on deaf and ignorant ears. I am told to call the service repairer. I am sure there is a law to protect Australian consumers.I paid nearly $1,000 for a fridge that is useless! I would like Whirlpool to contact me, and tell me why they shouldnt be accountable for their product. I would like to return the faulty fridge, accept a refund and buy another fridge. My family are living out of an Esky, and this is a ridiculous way to refrigerate food stuff for adults and children in the heat of northern Australia. Whirlpool, I am waiting for your call.

Bought this washer and dryer on sale at HD. The washer hasnt worked from the beginning. The clothes dont get wet because its an HE. I have to add buckets of water to even get the clothes wet enough to wash. The clothes come out with a residue on them. We use liquid HE detergent. It appears Im having the same problem as the majority of posters here. I will NEVER buy another Whirlpool appliance. There should be a class action suit to get Whirlpool to respond.

This is the worst washing machine we have ever owned. We purchased the Whirlpool Cabrio washer and dryer set at Lowe’s in Loganville, GA on 04/11/2010. Today is 02/22/2013 and the transmission is shot in the washer. It began making an extremely loud and terrible noise during the rinse and spin cycle. We called a local and trusted appliance repairman, and after his diagnosis including estimate to repair the washer, it totaled over $525.00. This is a terrible washer. I will never ever buy a Whirlpool appliance again. Oh, forgot to mention we have purchased four (4) major appliances from Lowes over the past 2 1/2 years in addition to purchases for our plumbing business and wont do it again! Also, Whirlpool couldn’t care less and there is just one complaint after another for the exact same problem online.

Bought on 9/11/2014 and installed by Lowes installers on the 15th. It quit heating two days later. Called Lowes and they said I would have to call Whirlpool. I did. WP had me metering with a multi-meter until found OTC button was tripped. Then they suggested I troubleshoot the elements and sent me a video. I called Lowes and they said they would replace. Later they called back and said WP would not give them a RA number and for me to call them. I did and the rep after much arguing directed me to call their factory authorized service, A & E. I did and they said it would be 33 days before they could come out. I hung up and called Lowes who called back later and wanted me to call WP again. This time they said they did not have a repair service close enough to come, but I could try buying the lower heating element and replacing it to see if that worked. I said no, the heater was brand new and they needed to fix it. Their next solution was have me contact a local plumber and arrange to troubleshoot, me pay the plumber and then send them the bill. They would reimburse me up to $100.00. Not acceptable and now the button has to be reset every few hours and the water gets scalding hot while it is heating. I called Lowes and they said they would get back to me, but I have little hope of a resolution. Product number is ** SN is ** Model is E2F50HD045V. Bought at Lowes, Lindale, TX.

I purchased a new Whirlpool refrigerator, side by side in August 2013. The ice maker made ice but the size of the ice was much smaller than usual, however we lived with it. Soon it only made about a handful of ice a day, which defeats the purpose of an ice maker. So we called the store we bought it from and they sent a repairman. The problem was not solved until about the 4th visit from the repairman. I was told there was no problem with our ice maker from the first 3 repairmen. In the meantime the refrigerator side started pooling water in the bottom under the bin... Had to call again for that problem (they fixed). Now the door is showing rust under the handles. I have contacted Whirlpool and they have told me thats too bad, but they dont have to do anything because read the fine print, it is not their problem and thank you for being a Whirlpool customer. I am very disappointed in this supposedly good company... Is this corporate America? Never again will I buy Whirlpool.

We bought our Whirlpool refrigerator model # WRT318FZDB02 July of 2019. We liked it very much. The beginning of January 2022 we started having issues with things freezing. A few days later nothing got cold. The appliance technician that checked it out said our seals on the compressor were bad and needed a new one. He told us we were better off buying a new refrigerator. I contacted Whirlpool support and they told me the same thing. Our previous refrigerator lasted over 30 years!! I would think Whirlpool would make their refrigerators last longer than 2 1/2 years!!

I am writing due to the defects and flaws in my recently purchased appliances. I chose Whirlpool believing I was buying the highest quality for longevity purposes. Every appliance I own is Whirlpool or Maytag - same company. I purchased warranties and was told the warranties dont cover my issues and was basically brushed off. I am infuriated. Here is a list of complaints. Refrigerator is cracking on the inside on the inner door and at the bottom. These cracks surfaced within the first year of purchase. The warranty does not cover cracks in the inner body. The oven/range has an exhaust that bellows out of the top of the range in a way that the smoke curls up onto the panel and discolors it. I have never had an oven constructed with an exhaust pipe in the front that pours smoke onto the range itself and into your house. The dishwasher paint has rusted off on the door as have the screws on the inside of the door. The cover panel on the cleaning dispenser of the washer has popped off and cannot be popped back on, hence the guts of the dispenser are always visible and when I go to load the cleansers the front has to pulled out from inside the dispense. The refrigerator is also leaking from the bottom and the ice-maker no longer produces ice. This started off and on for the past 2 years. At first I thought the leak was from a near by window. No it is the refrigerator. All of these appliances were purchased in 2013, 14 and 15. New. I am 56. I have never had issues like this ever in my life growing up or as an adult. Appliances lasted forever. I am one person. How much damage could I do? None. These are flaws in chemical compounding of the paints and materials for cracks and rust. Whirlpool was called various times and was not interested in sending a rep to verify my claims. They said all of my warranties did not cover such issues only motors. Lots of many spent in vain. I will not purchase Whirlpool again as they seem disinterested in customer satisfaction.

I purchased Whirlpool washer in 12/2011. Immediately, I noticed the noise and called service. It was a whistling noise. The clerk told me nothing was in the manual and it would cost $65 to have a tech come out. He advised me to wait until it was louder and more consistent. I called again when it was. Gear case was replaced on 5/2/2012 five months after purchasing the machine. I called Whirlpool again in 5/2013 - same problem. I was told the diagnostic call would be $95, labor which is extended for a major job is $85 and the part would be $290. It would cost $470 to repair as the gear case was guaranteed for only three months. This machine is a lemon since the gear case is now shot again prior to the machine being 1-1/2 yrs. old. I called Whirlpool and spoke to Amy (Esc. Sup.) who advised they would replace the part only. The appointment was scheduled; the tech came, did diagnostics reading a manual and said the gear case is shot. I inquired, Well, you are going to fix it today right? The reply was, Oh no, it has to be ordered and its a two-man job. When I arranged for this appointment, this was clearly explained and what I was expecting, two men and the part to be replaced with them. Now its a five-day wait to get the part and then a scheduling issue when they could do it. This machine is a lemon and Id like to have the machine replaced or my money refunded. This is a runaround, scheduling the appointment and having someone show up with the manual and having no parts and not knowing that it was the part which broke again from previously being replaced.

Purchased a home recently that had a Whirlpool dishwasher installed within it. Havent lived here for more than 2 weeks. Go to use the dishwasher a week ago and the dishwasher wont turn on. Its brand new! We tried resetting the breaker and all the tricks on the website page. So we called Whirlpool to have them send someone out and diagnose the problem... a week later. The appliance repair man comes out and says its not receiving the proper voltage for the dishwasher to run. So I contact the electric company that installed the electric wires within the home and they came out the next day to check their work. The electrician found that there was the proper voltage coming into the lines for the dishwasher to run and in fact it is the dishwasher. So at this point Im back to square one and called Whirlpool again. At this point, I just wanted them to replace the dishwasher with a new one (same model, no upgrade) since it hasnt even been 30 days of owning the thing and its already having issues. I havent even used it once. I didnt think I was crazy for asking for a new one. Especially when the problem seems to be electrically related. They tell me another person has to come back out and deem the product unrepairable for them to exchange the product for a new one. They tell me its going to be yet again another week for someone to come deem it repairable or not. But wait heres a 75 dollar Visa gift card for your inconvenience. How about you spend the 75 dollars on hiring a technician to come fix it today? Had a similar problem with a LG appliance and they sent me a new one with no hassle without even sending a tech out to see if it was repairable or not. Buyers beware! Dont waste your money on Whirlpool. Clearly they do not care about their customers. They would rather spend more money in technician fees than to just admit their product isnt functioning correctly and replace it.

I bought this Whirlpool Duet Sport washer and dryer, and I have had to constantly bleach out because our laundry smells like mold. I found out that Tide sells a special cleanser for this washer so I have been using that for the past two years. It did not really help. Well, today I accidentally put laundry soap in the wrong dispenser, so I took the dispenser out and was horrified to find mold that was all in the back where the fluid is dispensed, I mean way back in there. I have been suffering with sinus problems, and swelling in my eyes and face. I even went to the doctor, but no one has figured out why. I now know it is the mold from my washer making me sick. Well, my son and daughter-in-law were staying with me, and commented on how bad it was when they used my towels. I am stuck with a $1,600 washer and dryer that is making my family sick.

I should have bought a new washer but I felt as much as I put into it, I basically built a new one. And now this code comes up every time and I have to power it off. If you are in the market for a new refrigerator, STAY AWAY from Whirlpool Top Freezer models. Mine just failed after only 5 years and Whirlpool will NOT do a thing about it, except ask, Did you buy the extended warranty? The compressor in my refrig was made in Mexico by a company called Embraco. I used to work for Whirlpool and these compressors were garbage then, and I guess still are, in my opinion. The 5 year sealed system warranty was removed from these refrig years ago and I can only assume this is why. If you want the 5 year SS warranty, buy a side by side or French door model. Just be sure it doesnt have an Embraco compressor on it! And while I am not a believer in them, planned obsolescence dictates you probably should buy the extended warranty/service plan for such a purchase. Dont rely on positive past experience, even for a company like Whirlpool. Their gold ring of promise emblem is very tarnished for me now.

Got a simple error code E6 F2 on the display of my oven (only 8 years old). Called Whirlpool to schedule a repair. They told me there were no available dates for one of their techs to fix my unit. They referred me to 3 outside companies that wanted to charge me over $100 just to come out and take a look. One of the phone numbers to the companies they referred me to was a wrong number. I asked them to tell me what the error code means and they said they couldnt tell me with any degree of accuracy. (What use is an error code, then??!!) I checked all over the internet and different websites say it might be a control board (over $300 for the part) issue. But several techs also said that it is a crap shoot and could also be a Temperature Sensor. I called back Whirlpool to see if they could get me a deal on the part. But, guess what? They dont sell it anymore...in fact they dont even sell their own parts at all!! And, they transferred me to some outside company that refused to even give me part numbers, to avoid me shopping for a better deal (which I did end up finding on Amazon after number 6 below). I called back Whirlpool and after getting transferred around to 2-3 different people and wasting about an hour I finally got someone who finally wanted to just give me whatever decent service they could and they finally got me the part numbers of the 2 different control boards (Main Control Unit and Sister board that controls the locking mechanism, $367 and $140 respectively). Now I am faced with paying an Appliance Repair person over $500 for what seems to me is a BIG FAT LEMON of an appliance due to the sheer number of unsatisfied people that are having the same issue, have had it fixed, and had the error just return again. THUS.... WHIRLPOOL AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEIR PRODUCTS JUST SUCK!! AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! THE LEAST THEIR COMPANY COULD DO IS TRY TO HELP FIX THE PROBLEM, NOT EXACERBATE IT BY GIVING SHADY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REFUSING TO HELP FIX THE PROBLEM!!!

We didnt expect any problems for the initial 4 years. Up on delivery some parts of the unit was missing, delivery guys said they will make a report for the missing left drawers and the parts. We did not have any manuals how to setup and use. After we called the customer service they send us the operating manual. We encounter several other problems with this unit and the most recent one to our surprise the warning light to change the water filter was on. We hardly using the water from the fridge because of the having monthly spring water delivery service. We called customer service and after explanation of our concern and following their instruction the light was on. Finally we were told that whether or not using the water filter has to be changed every 6 months and send us the additional service warranty contract which is $411.95 for 3 years. We still have 3 years 4 months remaining from our original warranty.

I have had the machine pair (Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum) for almost 4 years
I have had the machine pair (Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum) for almost 4 years and up until a few months ago I LOVED the washer. I was advised when I bought the machine to make sure to read the manual, which was very helpful in learning to use it properly. I have never had residue on my dark clothing or ever had the clothes come out partially dry. I use liquid HE detergent nothing powder goes in the machine. I also read many reviews before buying it and a got some advice from them. I have washed king size comforters with no problems. Everything has always cleaned very well. The only issues I have are that when bleach was used in a previous cycle. Ive had a problem with the bleach not being fully dispensed and ending up in the next load. Fortunately it was just towels and not darks!!! Although, I had just bought the towels and now they look tie died which was very upsetting to me. I learned to add water to the bleach dispenser to dilute it and that issue seemed to dissipate. BUT NOW... I COULD THROW A TANTRUM. I PAID 1800+ FOR THE PAIR AND THE WASHER IS SHOT!!! A pretty common problem with the Cabrio from what Ive read. It started by making a very loud noise when spinning, like a helicopter was landing in my laundry room! I continued using it, I even thought the sound was getting better after I did the clean cycle. The last load I did would not complete the cycle because it kept reading that it was unbalanced and unfortunately it was a load of heavy wet towels. I was far from happy when I had to remove them and go to a Laundromat. Needless to say its the bearings and to fix its very costly. I cant even fathom that a less than 4 year old machine needs to be repaired and the cost is roughly half of what I paid for it!!! I do know I will NEVER buy another Whirlpool. What happened to making things to last??? Next machine I will definitely get extended warranty. I can honestly agree with all the other reviews... THIS MACHINE IS HORRIBLE!!!

I bought a Whirlpool water heater 5 years ago and after one year I had to replace the thermocouple every 3 months. Each time I call to complain, they would just send me a new thermocouple. I asked them several times to replace the item and they refused and just continued to send me replacement parts and refuse to honor their warranty. The water heater had some type of defect, but they still refuse to replace the item and did admit on the phone they have records of several parts that they sent.

We purchased Whirlpool Cabrio Washer Model #WTW7300DW0 and Dryer in 2013 from Home Depot. The washer is the worst appliance we ever owned. It makes a horrific metal rubbing noise during agitation. The Whirlpool assigned repair service provider, after 2 trips and $300 has been unsuccessful in repairing the problem. Even after he called Whirlpool direct for assistance. Given that we used a Home Depot Gift Card for purchase, the repair expense is rapidly diminishing any benefit to keeping the machine. Well not even consider purchasing Whirlpool again.

My story begins in August of this year when my wife and I built a new home. The builder provided Whirlpool appliances in the kitchen. The fridge has continually tripped the breaker and after numerous visits from the builders electrician, we finally also had the Whirlpool service technician check out the fridge too. After the control board was replaced, and the interior light housing was replaced, it turns out the wiring harness in the fridge is faulty and is not repairable. According to your customer service team, the fridge will need to be exchanged. I have made numerous calls to the suggested numbers (866-698-2538 & 800-253-1301) to find out the status of the exchange. Each time, I have been told that my file is with the review team, and that if I have not heard from them in the next three or four days, that I should call back again. I have not been able to contact the review team directly myself, as your customer service team is either unable to or is not allowed to share those contact details. So I am relegated to wait and then call back again. I have lost track of the number of calls I have made, and the hours spent on hold because of the high volume of calls or re-telling the whole story. The fridge was determined to not be repairable on November 19th. I am not sure if this is the treatment you intend for your customers, or if this is an anomaly.

I am completely dissatisfied with the Whirlpool Cabrio top loading machine.
I am completely dissatisfied with the Whirlpool Cabrio top loading machine. Our washing machine is less than one-year-old. It doesnt get the clothes clean, especially the darks, and it is so rough on the clothes that they come out twisted tied into knots. The dark clothes come out dirtier than they went into machine. Even though we use the dark detergent on the dark clothes and program for an extra rinse cycle, the clothes come out with white powder all over them. They need to be washed again and sometimes again. And sometimes they still dont come out clean. That is not very energy efficient. The clothes come out of the machine so wrinkled that everything needs to be ironed. I can imagine making washing machine that doesnt do its primary function, which is to get clothes clean. Todays families do not have time for this extra work.

I purchased a Whirlpool Duet washer from a local appliance store in May 2009. I also purchased a 60-month extended warranty covering the washer until May 2015. I was shocked when I tried to use the washer today (May 16, 2012) and it would not turn on. I called the repair facility the appliance store supplied as the warranty repair facility, only to be shocked again. I was told the appliance store suddenly went out of business and my ($130) extended warranty was no longer in effect and I would have to pay for repair out of my pocket. I then called Whirlpool knowing they would stand behind their faulty $740, 3-year old washer. They told me there was nothing they could do because the one year warranty they offered was over. I had a repair person look at the washer and he told me a control board had to be replaced and the repair would cost at least $550. I told him I was just going to buy a new washer. I had not been happy with the washer from day one and was very sorry I had purchased it. It did not wash the clothes very well. Also, I had a musty/moldy smell in my basement that would not go away no matter how much I cleaned. The repairman told me today that the smell is coming from the washer. I just cant believe I am out almost $1,000 and there is nothing I can do about it. After reading the many reviews on this website about Whirlpool appliances, I am sure they will not be in business much longer. They should be ashamed of themselves for what they are doing to consumers like myself especially in todays economy. Is there anything that can be done about this?

My Whirlpool oven (Model WFG505M0BS0) stopped working - the bottom oven part (the top burners were OK), the display on top functioned normally, but no fire came on. I called Whirlpool, and then I accessed Whirlpool online and scheduled service with their official service representative - Flamingo Appliance Service ** for September 9, 2020. When the repairman arrived on 09-09-2020, he opened up the stove and checked it, and he told me that a computer part needs to be replaced, as well as the igniter, and the cost would be between $400.00 and $600.00 (I dont remember the exact amount), I told SEVERAL times, maybe its just the igniter (for which the cost would less than $100.00 AND already included in the $134.95), but he insisted that the computer needed to be replaced, I did not like the way he explained it to me, it did not make sense. After that I was planning to buy a new stove, as the repair was too high. But, I decided to try to change the igniter myself before getting rid of the stove (the igniter cost was $21.00). I just got the igniter recently, and installed it, with help from YouTube, and what do you? THE STOVE IS WORKING!!! This is fraud!!! FLAMINGO APPLIANCE SERVICE ARE THIEVES, AND BY ASSOCIATION, WHIRLPOOL, WHOM THEY REPRESENT ARE THIEVES ALSO. I shall publicize to the best of my abilities: NOT TO BUY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS!!! This was not a mistake!!! This is the way they rip people off!! Either by paying exorbitant amounts for unnecessary repairs, or by buying new appliances when the old ones are still good. Dont buy Whirlpool!!! Dont use Flamingo Appliance Service. Theyre both fraudsters.

Its awful! We paid over $600 for our Whirlpool Gold Series convection/microwave clean release oven (model GMH 6185XVQ1). It worked fine for 12.5 months at which time it started clicking and, after a final zapping sound, would not heat anything at all. I called Customer Service, Oh, so sorry, its past its one year warranty. I was finally transferred to Escalations then to the supervisor of the Escalation specialist. Finally, we negotiated that I would pay for the service call ($129) and they would pay for parts (which were around $300 for a fried magnetron, diode, and something else). That repair was 6 months ago. Today while heating a glass of water in our microwave, I heard the familiar zap and no matter what, the microwave will not heat anything. I called Customer Service again, figuring the newer parts were still under warranty. Wrong. The newer parts were only covered for 90 days. This time, they tried to sell me a service plus package. For only $289, they will re-warranty my microwave for 1 year after they come out and fix it again (cost on me). My other option is to pay $129 again for another service call plus any parts (which Im sure will be about the same as last time. I will never buy Whirlpool again! Buyer beware!

I have purchased more sheets in the past 4 years than I have in the past 45 years of doing laundry, because the washing powders are not washed out. I wash on second rinse also, never fails and it still does not get all of it out. The clothing gets off balance if it was more than 3 small items. I have a leveling tool that I put on it often to make sure it is level. It’s something within the machine. I will never, never, never purchase any more Sears’ product. Late on the evening of Monday, January 27, 2014, after springing a leak in
Late on the evening of Monday, January 27, 2014, after springing a leak in my 8-year-old water heater, I purchased a new Whirlpool model N50T61 replacement from Lowes. Installation went smoothly and the unit lit off fine the first time. It heated the initial tank of water rather quickly, but the next morning, I noticed the status light on the control unit was not blinking, which indicated the pilot light had gone out. I relit the pilot light, the water heater fired off and appeared to be working properly. 12 hours later, the status light was out again. I relit the pilot, but within 20 minutes, it went out again. On Wednesday, the 29th, I called Whirlpool customer service and explained to the representative what had been happening. He stated that since the status light was not blinking a code, the problem was either an air supply or venting problem, and he couldnt help me. I relit the water heater again and performed the match smoke test described in the owners manual on the vent connection. It did exactly what the manual said it should do, so I assumed that was not the problem. However, while performing this test, the water heater went out again. This time, being right there when it shut off, I saw the status light blink twice about 5 or 6 times before it quit blinking all together. The two blink error code indicated low millivolt signal from thermopile.I called customer service again and explained to the representative what the first person had told me and also told him the results of my test and that this time, I had observed the two blink error code. He asked if I had a multimeter (which I do), so he had me disconnect the wires for the thermopile, connect the meter to the wires, light the pilot and read the voltage. My meter is an old analog unit, and not capable of reading millivolts (which is what the thermopile output is), and I informed the rep of this, but he had me do it anyway. As I suspected, I saw absolutely no reading on the meter. The service rep stated that he believed the error code and decided to send me a new thermopile assembly. However, their shipping department was closed for the day and I should not expect to see the new part until Friday. This was unacceptable, but he stated that this was the only option available to me.After thinking about this situation for a while, I again called Whirlpool customer service and told the representative that I was not satisfied with the solution previously presented to me and that I wanted a return authorization to take the water heater back to Lowes for replacement. The rep stated he couldnt do that, but said that there were a couple other things I could try. He attempted to explain these procedures to me, but wasnt able to do so clearly. He stated he would email the instructions to me. As of this writing, I still have not received the instructions. In the meantime, I did some internet research and found that Whirlpool water heaters have numerous chronic problems, including the issues I was experiencing. I decided this was not a product I cared to own. I called the Lowes store where I purchased the water heater and spoke with the manager. I explained the entire sequence of events to him, and he told me to bring the water heater back for a full refund. Since my local Lowes store only sells the Whirlpool brand, I took the money and purchased a different brand of water heater from another home improvement store. Needless to say, it will be a cold day in hell before I ever purchase another Whirlpool product.

The technician has replaced everything but Whirlpool says it is still fixable. The Master technician has no idea what is wrong with my machine yet he refuses to call it broken. I have been without a washing machine for 3 1/2 weeks. They refuse to offer a return authorization number. I have spoken to a Supervisor on the phone. She states the warranty is for repair. Purchased Refrigerator (WhirlPool Refrigerator WRX988SIBM03) 16 months ago and noticed the drawer with glass that house the drawers had a crack on the right side. Couldnt believe it was cracked after such little use with just two adults living in the home. Removed it and noticed this was such shoddy design. There is a heavy metal bar in the back with a piece of flimsy plastic that attaches to the heavy metal bar with only a screw attaching the plastic to the metal.I made attempt to glue it since it was only cracked but then the plastic just started crumbling into pieces like a broken cookie. Truly there is something wrong with the quality of the product as well as the design of having this heavy metal bar attached to this flimsy plastic. The quality of this part only leads me to believe what is next with this refrigerator. I am sure there is more to come.I contacted Whirlpool to see if they would replace but of course this is at my cost. Ive had inner parts of refrigerators break over years of use and they get old and busted up over time but this is a new refrigerator and once I inspected the part, I was disappointed with myself for not removing these inner parts and inspecting prior to purchasing. I would have picked up on the poor quality right away. Taken by the outside of this unit and its beauty, and not truly looking at whether or not the shelf can hold a couple gallons of milk. I am here to tell you there is no way this would have withstood the test of time with only a gallon of milk sitting on this unit. Poor design, poor quality and metal attached to raw plastic as it is a disaster.

In March of 2013, I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator; model number WRF990
In March of 2013, I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator; model number WRF990SLAM00 from Lowes. About two weeks after my manufacturers warranty expired, I called Whirlpool because the refrigerator wasnt working anymore. It took several weeks and the need to call four different repair companies before we finally had one that was willing and able to come attempt to repair the refrigerator. They came out, changed a few parts and left. Several weeks later, the refrigerator quit again. This time, when I called whirlpool (about June 2014), I was able to convince them to give me an extended warranty. They told me that the warranty would expire in December, and that all the work and service would be covered up to that date. This was fortunate because that repair, parts alone, was near a thousand dollars. Of course, the repair company couldnt make these repairs in my kitchen, so they had to remove the refrigerator and take it to their shop for several days. By this point, we had lost two refrigerators full of food. In mid-November 2014, the refrigerator quit again. We lost another refrigerator full of food. We called Whirlpool and the repair company again, and the repair was scheduled. I have six children and we spent Thanksgiving without a refrigerator in our home. The repair shop kept the refrigerator for several days after they fixed it to make sure it wouldnt leak coolant, because by this time, they had figured out that there were several pin hole sized leaks in the coolant line. It didnt leak. They had it for about four weeks total before they brought it back to us. By the next morning after having the refrigerator plugged in for several hours in our kitchen, the temp was at 65 degrees in the refrigerator and 60 in the freezer. I called the repair company again and whirlpool. The repair company has come to the conclusion that there must be a leak in the coolant line in the walls of the refrigerator and it is deemed unrepairable. They called the whirlpool tech line and the tech people told them to come back to our house and read the pressures the next day. They came out, read the pressures, determined that coolant had leaked out and told the tech department it was not repairable. The tech department told them to go through the entire cooling system again. This is something they have done several times. Today, they brought the refrigerator back after going through the entire cooling system, yet again. Its still not working. As I type this, my refrigerator is at a balmy 55 degrees. The repair company and I have both, on numerous occasions requested a replacement refrigerator. This was a very high end purchase for us. The original cost of the refrigerator was around $3,000. I have lost around $1500 worth of food, which Ive also requested on numerous occasions for Whirlpool to reimburse and they refuse. Whirlpool refuses to replace the refrigerator. Today, I found out that, by mistake, they gave me a one year extended warranty instead of six months. They said that it does not expire until June 19, 2015. Even with this information, they told me that the best offer that they will give me is IF I am willing to EXCHANGE my lemon that is in my kitchen right now, they will SELL me a replacement refrigerator at a discount. They say that the terms of the extended warranty are different than terms of a manufacturers warranty. This is unacceptable. I am currently out several thousand dollars for an over sized filtered water dispenser in my kitchen. Throughout 2014, we spent somewhere between three and four months without a working refrigerator in our home. As of right now, I havent had a working refrigerator for about six weeks and through Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. I bought the refrigerator because I thought it would act like a refrigerator and not a paper weight. An Implied Warranty of Merchantability has no expiration date. It requires that the goods be fit for the ordinary purposes for which they are to be used. This refrigerator is not fit to be used.Id also like to mention that during the times that Ive spoken with Whirlpool on the phone, they have told me that they would replace the refrigerator if the repair company deemed it unrepairable. Typically when I call whirlpool, I am on hold for fifteen to thirty minutes before I get to a representative. Today, I was on hold for forty minutes before my call was disconnected. This has happened numerous times. Ive also had representatives disconnect the call several times when they were transferring me to another department, or putting me on hold. I estimate that I have spent at least forty hours on the phone with the customer service department for whirlpool in the last several months. And even, with all that, I have not had a dependable refrigerator for eight months. I need this resolved and I dont feel that it is fair for me to be financially punished because of the lemon that Ive already purchased from Whirlpool.

My wife and I purchased the Whirlpool calypso washer and dryers and have been regretting ever purchasing a Whirlpool product. Not more than a year and a half after spending thousands of dollars on their products the troubles started. I called the company and they sent someone out to look at it for repair. He vacuumed out the lines and kept restarting it over and over and eventually it started working again and they charged a hundred dollars and something and said there most likely be more problems since they have many calls on this issue. Sure enough it started again and just kept retrying it over and over to get it to work again as well as vacuumed the lines again like he did. Now its at the point it will not work no matter what. It just keeps flashing LD and shuts down. So I did a online search for other consumers having the same problem and was shocked by the amount of the same problem with others (search this model flashing LD and you will see for yourself). When I contacted Whirlpool they played dumb and lied right thru their teeth saying they have no issues with this model and refused to do anything. I have since learned there has been court cases where the courts ruled against them saying that it was defective and had to notify consumers which they never did. Even when the repairman came out nothing was said. I have since learned that all they did was changed the name to a different model which is having the same problem (no kidding!!) and continued to rip the public off in the name of CORPORATE Greed!!!!! I advise everybody never to purchase a Whirlpool product ever again and maybe we can bankrupt them and put them out of business where they belong. All the customer service agents deserve to be unemployed and suffering after long waits on the phone and then lying straight face to the consumers. Pure evil!!!! We all have to stick together and bring these criminals down. How can they say we have no issues when a simple search of Whirlpool Calypso problems with draining and flashing LD and shutting down. There are thousands of people complaining and no action is done. Shame on these people and their souls are lost forever. Never buy a Whirlpool product and tell everybody you know to stay away! They should have their ** and/or ** cut off and have to suffer the same way the struggling consumers are after scrounging up thousands of dollars for a 200-pound metal paper weight that aint worth a damn!!!!

Bought a Whirlpool Gas Range model WFG530S0ES0 in Nov 2015. Eleven months into owning it the oven wouldnt heat up. Turns out the motherboard and wiring harness needed replaced. Since it was within a year of purchase, parts and labor were covered. Dec 2018 the same darn thing happened. I called Whirlpool and they basically said, Tough luck, lady. Was I surprised, not in the least. I talked to a supervisor who said that they dont have a single complaint on their Gas Ranges. Did I believe that, not in the least. Whirlpool finally agreed to pay for the parts but not the labor. Whirlpool supervisor said that equipment failure occurs. I said theres a difference between reasonable equipment failure and unreasonable equipment failure. I am the owner of a 4-year-old stainless steel Whirlpool refrigerator, Model GB9SHDXPS02. Yesterday morning, my 5-year-old daughter opened the fridge door to get a snack. The door came crashing down, hit the floor - missing my 21-month-old daughter by less than two feet - the drawer smashed off on impact and flew across the kitchen floor and the contents of the drawer (salad dressings, syrup, condiments, etc) went flying too. Miraculously, no one was hurt. My children were obviously upset and crying, and I was shaken. My laminate floor has a large dent and long scratch from the impact. My fridge door is broken. I cannot get through to Whirlpool Canadas corporate office to speak to anyone. The Whirlpool Canada call center is giving me the runaround. Yesterday I spoke to a supervisor at the call center who advised me that someone from the Corporate Safety Division would phone me within 24 hours - but I have not received a phone call and it has been more than 24 hours. I am noticing a complete disconnect between the gravity of the situation and an appropriate response from Whirlpool. I am a mother of 4 small children - two of which were very nearly killed/badly injured by a faulty refrigerator door. I cant even get a phone call in response. This is a serious safety issue. Im tired of apologies, some real action needs to be taken to ensure this never happens again to any consumer.

Purchased a NEW Whirlpool side by side refrigerator (WRS965CIA) and it was delivered on 2-3-14 with a dent in the door. The retail store ordered a replacement door and this order was approved by Whirlpool. 4 months later, I still dont have the door. My 8 calls to the retail store say that Whirlpools Trade partner is not returning their calls or emails to get this resolved. My contact with Whirlpool was met with contact your Trade Partner. Vicious cycle and still no replacement door.

Do NOT buy the Whirlpool Cabrio washer...it doesnt actually wash your clothes! Most clothing still half dry after the wash (didnt get any water on them) and they are still smelling sweat after the wash! Also doesnt clean basic stains that others washers clean. Even if you add water manually to the washer to soak your clothes, the clothes on top wont be agitated at all, hence the reason the clothes are still dirty after a wash. Poorly engineered washer... its a lemon as it doesnt do what it is supposed to do (wash clothes). Biggest scam ever from Whirlpool and shouldnt be allowed to be sold to consumers anymore!

Ive read a lot of reviews on here for Whirlpool Cabrio Washer and Dryer saying horrible things and maybe I lucked out? We got our set at Lowes a couple of years ago and havent had issues. We use Gain HE liquid detergent in the washer and have no problems. We also do the recommended routine cleanings of the machine as the manual says. I pick the settings for what we have, clothing wise, and it washes appropriately and things are clean, no marks or other things people have mentioned. I will click on extra rinse and adjust the soil level if something is particularly yucky. The dryer is great as well as long as you select the proper type of wash you have going on. I tend to do more dry setting and things never come out wrinkled. Sorry for all those who have had bad experiences. Also, others have complained about the noise...our old machine had an agitator and was very loud. Our machines are in a closed room and most of the time we dont hear a thing until the bell rings. Maybe wed hear more if they were in an open area or garage where noise echoes?

About two months ago the washer starting stopping and the UL light continued to come on during every spin cycle. So I would adjust the clothes and start it again. So I decided that I should call a certified serviceman to come out and access the problem. Today a certified serviceman came out to access the problem. After about twenty minutes I was told the tub needed to be replaced and the cost and labor would be $600 or more. I do realize that the washer is about 8 years old but to completely need a repair like a new tub. I am very upset and have no idea what to do.

I bought the W04H02 SKU Number 13219771. I decided to wait to write this review until Trail Appliances hauled away this piece of junk, which was this morning. I bought this fridge July 2013. In June 2015 the freezer first konked out, so I started using my deep freezer. Then by October the fridge went. I called in my repair guy, who told me he sees this all the time with this fridge and carries many motors for these garbage fridges in his vehicle at all times. So $375.00 later it worked for about 3 1/2 months. Just long enough until the warranty again ran out. At this time I started to read the reviews about Whirlpool, and I was so mad at myself for not reading the reviews first. All I can say is I would never ever recommend this product. I am glad to see this junk out of my home. I never wasted TIME CONTACTING WHIRLPOOL, AS BY THE REVIEWS I READ, THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. THEY ARENT WORTH THE TIME.

This is a good customer service (CS) review. Whirlpool knows about the defect and continues to distribute the fridge this way. We have a Whirlpool model #WRF757SDEM01 we purchased this year (2017). We love the size and the fact that the ice bin is in the door and takes up very little room. Our only complaint prior to this issue was the ice and water do not always come out gracefully. So we were happy overall till a large block of ice formed in the back of the fridge. My original call to CS was great. They did not ask me a bunch of stupid questions, just said that should not be happening and scheduled a service call.Service guy knew exactly what it was because he had repaired the same model with the same issue several times. It is a defect in the dual cooling/defrost system that Whirlpool knows about, but continues to produce. Two parts need to be replaced and one part had to be ordered. Which was not a big deal since two days were needed to thaw out the mini glacier. We lost food so I made a second call to CS and again there were no stupid questions or arguments. They got a $75 debit card in the mail to us. So I thank Whirlpools CS reps, but sure wish the manufacturing side of things were a little more diligent in production. Certainly this cost them money on all accounts.

WTW8800YWO Whirlpool Cabrio washer, 4 yrs old! Replaced!!! Its a poor quality washer -- the bearings go out. I purchased this washer and matching dryer at Lowes following a house fire. I initially thought the water saver was a good feature. Unfortunately, my clothes were not clean and were covered with lint following each wash. I have had to replace the ring inside the washer due to shifting and causing water damage to the new flooring. I soon became disappointed with my purchase, but until the noise became so loud in the spin cycle and the repair exceeded the initial costs, I kept the washer. I am another consumer who would NEVER purchase nor recommend a Whirlpool W/D. The repairman said, If you want a washer built to last, buy a Speed Queen!

Washer does not clean clothes period. Darks come out covered with white soap residue and smell dirty regardless of how little soap is used or with using extra rinse, which takes 84 minutes by the way. Whites only seem slightly cleaner since hot water is used and you cant see the soap residue. If you wash more than 5 or 5 items at a time some do not even get completely wet. Just waiting for it to break down next according to the other reviews. I spent a lot of money to get a nice washer and dryer and ended up with junk. Id rather have an old 1970 washer, probably designed better and most likely would clean better.

We bought the Cabrio washer and dryer on June 2008, and it wasnt very long after that, that we had to have a repair done. Then, it started twisting the clothes and the sheets into a big knot. Two king size sheets and 2 pillow cases got so twisted that they are no bigger than a watermelon, and believe me, they are very hard to untangle when they are soaking wet. The machine in the drying cycle sounds like a commercial jet taking off. We can hardly talk above the roar of that thing. I hate it with a passion. Two years ago, we bought a Whirlpool gas range, model WFG361LVQ2. The range-top grates were porcelain-coated, smooth and shiny. The range itself has worked flawlessly (Admittedly, it gets only light use in our elderly household, which consists of me and my wife). The only complaint I have is that the porcelain on the grates is failing. On one of the grates, its flaking off where the flame contacts with it during cooking (Photos attached). On another two, the porcelain has developed a surface roughness thats clearly a prelude to same type of damage as the first. The fourth grate still appears to be intact. The differences in damage is no doubt due to the different amount of use that each receives. When I called Whirlpool, a supervisor there told me that grates have no specific life expectancy, and that is true for plain metal grates as well has porcelain-coated grates. She also said that some chemicals can penetrate the porcelain and shorten its life. I told her we didnt use any chemicals on the grates, but only rarely used common kitchen scouring powder, and I cant imagine the powder or the chlorine in the powder could do that kind of damage. When I asked what it would cost to replace the four grates, she said $187. I told her the entire stove cost about $500, and it didnt make sense to pay almost $200 to buy grates every two years for the next thirty years. I told her that the grates on our previous (non-Whirlpool) range lasted the life of the range - about forty years. So I declined to purchase new grates, despite her offer of a one-time discount of 25%. Though the grates are becoming eyesores, theyre still perfectly usable. So Ill hang onto them until I can find some bare metal ones to replace them.

Have to wring out clothes by hand, rinse out soap in sink. Another company comes, replaces shifter, breaks again. I go to Lowes, demand new unit. They send another company out, broke next day 1 load later. Got new washer from them same model. Within months problems start again. Now broken again. After new shifter 3 months ago, songs like rocks in coffee can. PIECE OF JUNK. CALLING again for service after Christmas. I purchased a washing machine FS65 on 10-30-2005. In Oct. 2009, my washing machine developed some fault so I contacted the Whirlpool service center and got it repaired. Again in Dec. 2010, the appliance became faulty and so I contacted the service engineer to attend to the machine. He repaired it and I paid 2500/-. But the very next day, my appliance showed the faults again. It was rectified with replacement of PCB and I was charged 2786/- on 01-20-2011. Again on 09-04-2011, the machine became defective. On the call to service center on 09-05-2011 and attended by engineer on 09-06-2011, I was informed that PCB is defective. I failed to understand that the PCB replaced in January was of what quality that it has to be replaced now after such a short span of time. I feel that this is clear cheating with me.

Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine - We purchased the (best name brand) from Get It Now and all we ever had was problems. We will fill the washer 1/2 full of clothes and the clothes on top would not even get wet. So we have to do it again, to make sure the rest of the clothes were washed. Many times there was white smudge marks on the clothes, sorta like powder (we use only liquid soap that you recommend). Today I washed a child’s bedspread for the 4th time because the stains would not come out (from a cookie). I had to turn the bedspread twice just to get it wet. I used bulk load and heavy duty load and it doesnt work. Your product is a very big disappointment for the price a person has to pay. I will recommend that no one purchase this product. The maintenance man said this was a common problem in the complex with the refrigerators. Tonight, I heard noise coming out of the fridge. It was so loud it scared the cat. I went to check on it and a juice bottle had exploded in the fridge. It cannot keep an appropriate temperature. Things up front are barely cool and things at the back freeze. I purchased this monster in 2012 and after six years of enduring not enough water to actually wash the clothes for years, now the bearings have gone out making it sound like a jet engine is in my family room when it spins. After researching the bearing issue, I find it will cost $250 to $300 to have them replaced. Its also a common problem in this model even when the washer isnt at all worn out and old. That combined with the fact that my clothes dont smell clean and some blankets come out not even wet at all, Im done. I wont ever buy a water efficient washer again. Churning the dirty underwear around with a few cups of water isnt acceptable. NOTE: The bearings left months after the extended warranty expired. Just like clockwork. This washer is going back. It simply will not spin the water out of the clothes. It says it gets clothes drier than a conventional washer, but I have not found that to be true. I have to use the drain/spin cycle over and over and still the clothes are wet. I had the repair crew out and they were able to get it to spin out a very small load consisting of two sheets and two towels. Other than that, it does not spin out water. It is also very difficult to load if you attempt to leave the center open as they recommend. The cycles are very long. Not being able to look inside without pausing it and waiting for it to unlock is also a huge hassle. I am getting one with a glass top so I can see what is going on. If you leave it open for too long, it cancels the cycle and drains all the water, and you have to start over which is another problem because all your detergent just got drained out before the load gets going. It uses so little water on most of the cycles that the clothes get totally tangled up with one another. I think you should be able to choose the water level manually. I am all for saving water but if I want more water from time to time, this does not allow you to do that. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

On April 17th mid morning I noticed that the freezer side was not keeping items Frozen. Everything was melting period. I then opened up the refrigerator side all the items are not as cool as they should be. I then proceeded to do a Google search to see what I should check for in regards to the freezer and the refrigerator side not keeping cool. I then proceeded to pull the refrigerator out to inspect the back of the refrigerator. When I did that I noticed there was a hot mark on my wall, as well as a huge it burn mark on my floor. I then unplug to the refrigerator do the huge fire hazard and I touched my floor and it was very hot to the touch.I called my stepfather who is a firefighter and had him come over right away. He said we needed to take the refrigerator outside right away because the compressor had overheated and that is why it started to burn my floor. He then went to the fire station and got a heat sensor check machine, and we checked my wall and floor and we had to make sure that it was cooling down so it did not start my floor boards on fire so then we had to put a fan on it to cool it down. I then went and purchased a new refrigerator, due to this one was no longer able to be used or repaired. The refrigerator was only four years and 5 months old. For a $1,300 refrigerator it should last longer than 4 years.I called Whirlpool the following day or two days later and regards to this issue. The only thing they could tell me is that they were sorry, this refrigerator almost started my home on fire and we have six children a family of 8. It ruined my floor and part of my wall in my kitchen and we have lost a few hundred dollars and groceries. This is ridiculous and not the first time, I read a few others having this issue, Whirlpool said they have never received any complaints in regards to the refrigerator burning the floor and does not see it as a fire hazard at all.

I purchased my Whirlpool side by side refrigerator approximately 6 months ago. Immediately upon delivery the compressor showed itself to be very noisy, especially upon start up. I questioned the delivery persons and was told it would become quieter with time. It did I not. In fact, in the following days it got worse. I contacted Whirlpool and was sent an “approved” repairman. The confusions and scheduling difficulties in this process, however, were many. Finally, when the man did arrive. He listened and said the refrigerator was working but agreed it was loud but apologized there was nothing he could do.I called Whirlpool again several times to note the noise and constantly was given the sympathy of people saying they “understood but there was nothing they could do.” Finally, out of desperation I contacted the store where I had purchased the refrigerator and they sent a manager who agreed the unit was unreasonably loud and took the refrigerator back. I researched the Whirlpool company and found they are essentially the same company that makes several other common American name brands, so I made a point not to purchase from any of these companies. Instead, I purchased from a foreign manufacturer and couldn’t be happier. All I can say is I tried to buy American but have been greatly disappointed by both the product and lack of customer service by Whirlpool. I will not buy from them or their other companies again.

People should consider themselves lucky to get 2 yrs, 1yr, 6 mos out of these pieces of junk. Mine replaced an 8 year old Bradford White that was originally installed when the house was built. Funny thing, we had the exact same BW in our last house. Same problem after exactly 8 years - tank leaked. Anyway, this Whirlpool 40 gal gas was installed by a professional plumber ($200) and ran fine for 6 days before the pilot went out the 1st time. In the next 10 days it went out 9 more times until it wouldnt stay lit at all. I would light the pilot and it would be out in 5 min or less. I watched for the error code the last time - 2 flashes which indicated thermocouple low voltage. This is totally ridiculous. After research - which I should have done before I bought - it looks like a total bad design problem with associated customer service nightmares and much additional cost to the customer. AND EVERYONE WHO MAKES AND SELLS THESE THINGS KNOWS ABOUT IT. Attempting to fix this thing - even IF labor was included - looks like throwing good money after bad. When are these companies going to be held accountable for producing cheap poorly designed products and then let the consumer foot the cost of labor and/or replacement. You can say all you want about less government but this is just a small example of what you get when you have less government. Doing further research, it looks like NO manufacturer of gas water heaters can produce a reliable product now. So now, Im installing a Bradford White ELECTRIC water heater. Thats and extra $250 for the electrical service that needs to go in. AND additional for the actual install by a plumber. At least Lowes is not giving me a hard time about getting all my money back for the Whirlpool since its less than 30 days since the purchase. I guess I should consider myself lucky it malfunctioned almost immediately. Total out of pocket on the initial Whirlpool install: $560. Total out of pocket with reinstall of BW Electric: $1000. My time spent on this mess: priceless. At least we will have hot water, even though it will cost more per month in electricity to do it. Thanks Whirlpool - stay classy.

I purchased a home from Pulte and closed in June of 2020 and had no choice but to take Whirlpool appliances. Pulte does not offer high end appliances in order to maximize their profit. The first thing that failed after only 3 months was the Microwave and because we didnt want to get the same cheap microwave we upgraded and paid 400 for a Kitchen Aid, same size but never received the trim kit that matches the oven that came in sometime in October 2020. It is now January 2022 and we are still waiting for the trim kit. Every time we call to find out we spend hours on the phone. The refrigerator is a cheap version of the worst refrigerator made in China, the ice maker works ok but ice gets stuck in the chute and when it doesnt get stuck half goes to the glass and the other half to the floor. Poor design and we are stuck with it. Tried to buy an LG from Costco but it wont go through the door so again we are stuck with this small refrigerator with no room for groceries for two people. Stovetop is also cheap, only looks good the day we got the house, one of the burners would go off when turned to low with gas still flowing. Grates look 10 years old but must admit we cook every day. Oven will not calibrate and it is not accurate so we have learned to set everything 10 degrees higher to make up for the variance. Dishwasher had issues as well, unless you run it for 3 hours the shorter settings always have dishes or utensils still soiled. Warranties have expired after one year so it is now time to replace almost everything if we want decent appliances. Very disappointed but I blame Pulte for buying cheap.

Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum Washer - The seal on the top of the drum is breaking down. It is cracking at the bleach and soap dispenser. Somewhere in the washer drum or plate is causing holes and cuts in the clothes. The machine is only 2 years old.

Whirlpool realized in 2002 that this was a defective part. In 2005, they recalled the product. I purchased the Hot Water Heater (Model # BFG1F4034T3NOV) in 2006. Being this product was recalled in 2005, why was it still being sold at Lowes and other stores? Why wasnt it pulled from the shelves? Why werent the parts replaced before being sold? The hot water heater stopped producing hot water. I contacted Whirlpool and they said the gas control valve had to be replaced; they gave me a part # and an authorization # and told me I could pick it up at Lowes. I asked about installation, because it is still under warranty. They said they dont service this. I picked up the part and tried to find a plumber to do the work and they said it was too small a job. I had to impose on friends to help me; one is a volunteer fireman. He came out and put on the new part and in doing so, another piece broke. We called Whirlpool and they said they had to replace the manifold door assembly. They overnighted the part. Again, I asked about them servicing this hot water heater and I told them I am a single parent and cant do this work. They said they dont service this item. I then had a handyman come out to try to fix it and he wasnt able to get it to work and now I smelled gas (it cost me $198). I had to call the gas company and they came and said there was a leak and turned it off and gave me a violation. I called the company I have an HVAC contract with and they added the hot water heater to that contract and it cost me $120 more for a year. They finally got it working, I was without hot water for a week. I do not recommend anyone buy products from this company. They are horrible to do business with and their service is awful (the service they dont offer).

This is a good looking, inexpensive stove/oven. Stove top has four burners. I liked the split grates on the stove top. Its easier to remove and clean. I do not like the rubber seal on the oven door. I am used to the heavier duty seals on most oven doors.
