Purchased Whirlpool front load washer 2010. Had it repaired 2013. Paid $599 for washer & $648 for the repair. Mailed copy of sales and repair to Whirlpool customer service. Received call from customer service and was told to have a nice day.

Bought this side by side, Whirlpool with ice maker and water dispenser in April 2013 at Home Depot. From the beginning, we have NEVER been able to get any chilled water out of the refrigerator. Sometimes the water is even warmer than the water out of the tap. Repeated attempts to fix and now Whirlpool tech Tom, told repairman, sorry this is normal, no refrigerator can guarantee temp of water.” Ive NEVER had a refrigerator with a water dispenser not chill the water much less, come out WARMER! Purchased a 450.00 Whirlpool over- the-range microwave oven in October 2015 and on January 4, 2017 it is not heating. Timer, light and turntable is working properly. I thought I was buying one of the best products. I was sadly mistaken. So I am a very disappointed senior citizen, is has a fixed income. I still have the receipt from my purchase from Lowes.

We bought our washer, dryer, stove, microwave, and dishwasher in September of 2010. In 3 years we have had to replace our Whirlpool over the stove venting microwave, have spent over $550.00 on repairs on the Whirlpool refrigerator, and now have to replace our Whirlpool Cabrio washer. This of course does not include our time, effort & frustrations, especially with Whirlpool customer service. Will NEVER buy Whirlpool again. Were all for a class action lawsuit.

Ive had my Whirlpool water heater for almost 4 years now and for the last year and a half, I had to have the pilot light lit at least 5 times. I finally got so frustrated around the 3 times and called the company. They gave me instructions on how to light it and to ensure no draft was around the tank. A couple of weeks ago, it went out again and I called. This time I was told to replace the thermocouple. I did that and guess what? Still no hot water. Im a single parent with 2 kids and weve been boiling water just to bath.A service tech came out and told me I need to replace the tank altogether. I called Whirlpool service and they told me it was nothing they can do. Like many of you, I got this tank from Lowes and they will not do anything about it either. Its hurtful and stressful that doing a holiday season, I have to decide to either buy a hot water tank or give my kids a good Christmas. I know several friends and family who has had their tanks a lot longer with no problem. My problem is its a crappy Whirlpool brand with poor customer service.

This is a great choice if you like a drawer for a freezer. It’s double door. The racks are easily moved. There’s are drawers for beverages and cheeses and vegetables. One downfall is replacing water filter cartridge every couple months and freezer could be set up a little better so you don’t have to pack things on top of each other.

Disappointed with Whirlpool Gold bottom freezer GX2SHBXVY05. We purchase this refrigerator in December 2010 thinking we were buying a good quality french door fridge. It didnt take long before problems started with the freezer over freezing and the fridge not cooling. We also had a problem with water pooling on the bottom of the freezer then freezing into a solid piece of ice. Water eventually started pooling on the kitchen floor and living room carpet. We did not purchase the extended warranty believing we shouldnt have had to as we were believing a good name brand. After having a repair person in twice we were told we needed a new computer board and switch. Total cost for repair $350.00 plus previous charges, so far adding up to over $450.00. We called Whirlpool customer service, was a waste of time as they simply told me they could send out their own repair person to obtain the same diagnosis I already had. They told me I should have purchased the warranty. I told them I shouldnt have needed to. Whirlpool customer service refused to do anything for me as it was too long past the 1 year limited warranty. Doing my own research I found this to be a problem with a great many Whirlpool fridge owners and I mentioned this to their customer service and mentioned there should be a recall. I will no longer purchased another Whirlpool product as the company does not stand behind their product.

I ordered this Whirlpool 29 cu.ft. white french door refrigerator online from Goedeckers on April 26, 2013. Delivered May 15, 2013. Ever since we got it, there was a frost buildup in left back of ref. Also ice would fall out of dispenser all by itself. Also a buildup of ice under ice bin. Water would also drip from dispenser. We thought maybe since it was new these problems would go away. But they just got worse. I called Whirlpool & they sent out tech on 8/12/13. He told me Whirlpool has a problem with these refrigerators & would order parts. Well after 3 times of cancelling repairman due to parts on backorder, I told repair I would call when parts come in. I keep calling Whirlpool & keep hearing parts are on backorder, saying parts will be in in 7 days. I call back in 7 days and hear the same lies. Its a shame that they cant get parts in knowing that there is a major problem. It sounds like a real quality control problem. I really pride myself on buying American made but Whirlpool is not helping my case for buying American made. It would be nice if they offered to replace it being they cant seem to find parts.

17 month old Whirlpool duet washer door lock broke. ($300) repair! Had given my old (13 years) set to daughter when I moved. That set has never had a repair or problem! Why do they keep making things with more bells and whistles we dont need and so cheaply made? Frustrated, annoyed and becoming cynical in middle age.

We purchased in July 2016 from Best Buy. Very nice product. Our former Whirlpool had lasted 20 years and was a work horse for our family. The new one began not freezing ice cream in November. Then, it would periodically freeze things very well and then not freeze items fully. We contacted Best Buy thinking we had a lemon. Worthless - no help. Told us to contact Whirlpool directly. The repair person came out today and told us that our refrigerator cannot be in our garage outdoors because the energy efficiency of the refrigerator causes it to shut off when the surrounding temp drops below 54F. Our former Whirlpool had been outdoors in our garage in that spot for 18 years, no problems. The new models now no longer operate if the air cools down around them. What!? There is no warning information, no sales information, no way to learn this until after you shell out 1000 dollars and lose your frozen food. It is in the manual in fine print, but we didnt read the manual cover to cover when we got the refrigerator, and we sure didnt read it BEFORE we bought it. And no one at the store, nor the installation people who represented Best Buy as paid installers told me I couldnt have this outside, even though I specifically told them I was buying it for our outside extra fridge and freezer to replace the old one, and the installers installed it outside. Technically our refrigerator is working as its supposed to apparently. However, I think it should prominently be noted on pre-sales materials that it must be operated indoors only (in climates always >54 degrees). Now I have a new refrigerator that I cant use as an extra in our garage. Apparently all the new fridges are energy efficient like this and shut off below 54. I cannot find any info on the internet about this, or any other complaints about a similar situation to mine. How does that make any sense? Freezing is 32 so any frozen goods will thaw, by default, always, if the machine is in cool environments. Phooey on this design spec. Dumb engineers.

After 2.5 years seal around door melted on microwave. Whirlpool Corp sent a repairman to do a safety check. Said unit was ok to use. Plastic seal on for area totally melted about 2 inches wide. Co. Had a recall about a similar problem but our serial number was not included???? Did not want to give them any stars.

We called to have refrigerator repaired. We had to wait for 6 weeks get repair people to come. They looked, made guess, left, no repair. Said someone else would have to do it. No date/time frame. Houlka appliance, is that the only repair place in ms? No happy/hate lowes appliances, not impressed with whirlpool warranty system. And yes I have all the original receipts for the warranty.

Two Whirlpool washers in six years that the barren in back of tub goes out. When the first one went out in the same month the warranty expired, I was told by a repair man that it was not worth repairing because of the cost. I purchased a brand new Whirlpool and only months later, the same parts are broken on this new front loader. How cheap is the Whirlpool app. made? Whirlpool wants to only send me a tech. to fix washer instead of replacing unit altogether. After all, the unit is only a few months old. I cannot believe I have to deal with this again.

Cabrio - In Dec 2013: Ran the Clean washer cycle and it would not cut off. I had to shut off manually. Called the company and they sent a technician, who said he fixed it and that everything was good. Fast forward to Feb 2015: Tried cleaning the washer again. When I left the house there were 10 minutes left in the cycle. When I arrived home 7 hrs later, the washer was still running and my hot water heater had cut off. I had to reset via the circuit breaker. This will be my last Whirlpool appliance for a long while.

I’ve had the dishwasher for at least 3 yrs. if not longer. I have a long history with Whirlpool products and so far I haven’t had any problems with my past purchases. They normally wear out from age because if you take care of it normally they last for years.

I purchased a Whirlpool WTW6600SW in January 2010. I dont normally purchase an extended warranty, but it was a fairly expensive washer. So I did. In July 2011, water starts gushing all over the floor. After my first visit to see what is wrong, I ordered a part. I was out of a washer for 2 weeks. Then in August 2012 the same thing happened. This time the repairman didnt get the part on properly, so they had to come back a third time. I am out of a washer for about 3 weeks. Now, October 2012, it is doing the same thing again! Customer service tells me it has to be repaired for the same problem four times in the same 12 months in order to receive any replacement value. It will have to break two more times! This washer is a piece of junk!

This washer is an extremely poor choice if you wash clothes. It has so little water it does not dissolve HE detergent, Clorox 2, or OXI Clean. After even one wash it does not clean your laundry. If you choose to wash your sheets (even though there is a sheets and deep washer setting) its a joke. I could do better by washing things in the tub. I realize its a low usage water washer but you cannot even add more water unless you put it in with a bucket.

I love my stove and all of its features. My stove is easy to clean and I Love the self cleaning oven. I have a flat top so that helps when it comes to cleaning, not to mention it makes cooking a breeze. I love all the push buttons and how smart my stove is. I highly recommend my Whirlpool to anyone looking for a great appliance.

High end Whirlpool dual front loader washing machine model number WFW94HEXW2 died after 5+ years of less than moderate use. Used no more than once a week. Paid for a top end model. Had 2 mechanics look at it. Mechanically it is fine. The CCU is not working correctly and wont allow it to start. We replaced it, but to no avail. It is barely out of warranty at 5+ years old. Called Whirlpool and they said they would do nothing. Asked for a manager and she was rude to add insult to injury. Cant get to the serial number because the door is locked shut as part of the shutdown problem. Cant find original receipt so including a picture of the credit card purchase. Trying to contact retailer but so far have not heard back from them.

We have purchased 4 refrigerators in the past 20 years. The first three were not Whirlpool and were a constant issue for us. Once we purchased the Whirlpool, we no longer had issues. We have the side by side with a freezer at the bottom. This model has performed exceptionally well for us and hasnt presented any issues for us. I would highly recommend it to family and friends, thus the rating of a five.

Washer does not clean clothes period. Darks come out covered with white soap residue and smell dirty regardless of how little soap is used or with using extra rinse, which takes 84 minutes by the way. Whites only seem slightly cleaner since hot water is used and you cant see the soap residue. If you wash more than 5 or 5 items at a time some do not even get completely wet. Just waiting for it to break down next according to the other reviews. I spent a lot of money to get a nice washer and dryer and ended up with junk. Id rather have an old 1970 washer, probably designed better and most likely would clean better.

I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator in 2012 and now it does not work and Whirlpool says a 1300.00 refrigerator only has a one year warranty. Please do not purchase a Whirlpool brand because they do not live up to their brand name.

I bought the HE Whirlpool Cabrio 2 years ago. It has all the bells and whistles, fancy cycles, etc. but doesnt clean ANYTHING. I have to wash three times to get things clean... So much for energy efficiency. It also gets out of balance with larger loads. What a waste of money and time.

Just like many before me... Renovated my kitchen. Had my model WRF767SDEM purchased from Lowes (not much help either) in my garage for 2 month before plug in. After 3 months upper part did not cool, lost food to spoil. Call WP. Tech came. It took 3 wks for part to be replaced and worked for a month. Now we are waiting for a new part to arrive for the second time > Tech Stated it is a known design defect issue by Whirpool. (But units still being sold everywhere.) WP Should recall this units and stop selling them!! IT IS A LEMON FRIDGE. Do not buy!!! I wish a law firm read all of these complains and make this a class action suit out of this, It will be the only way Whirpool can be held responsible to Us the consumer!! Kitchen Aid is Whirlpool - Buyer Beware. 1.5 year old dishwasher Model #KUDS35FXSS8 lost power, repairman came and confirmed it to be the panel control and the part is back ordered 4 weeks out. Expected to come day before Thanksgiving, repairman cannot schedule until part arrives thus no guarantee date of fix. Found part online from AppliancePartsPro.com. They shipped it one day later - fixed dishwasher. Whirlpool will not stand behind part because it did not come from them. I have all the proof that it is a Whirlpool Certified Part from a Appliance Parts Pro. Appears Whirlpool would rather have a broken machine in a home rather than help the customer fix it.

We purchased Whirlpool Gold Accubake, double ovens (gas) in 2005. Since then, we have experienced identical failures (8 to date) during the self-cleaning cycle in which the high temperature burns out the thermal fuse of the ovens. This requires two Sears technicians to repair the unit (it requires two technicians to pull the oven out as the fuse location is in the back of the unit) and leaves us without use of both ovens for approximately 2 weeks (scheduling parts delivery and technicians through Sears home repair is not an expedient process).After checking other consumer product websites, it has become clear to me that there is a known design defect with these ovens in which the thermal fuse is not adequately insulated from the high temperatures during self clean; it therefore trips and burns out during the self-clean cycle. While not having access to ovens for about two weeks/year on average may sound acceptable to Sears, the reality is that the problem has escalated in frequency since purchase. In 2013, we are going on our third repair of the same problem (that makes 6 weeks of non-usable oven time in one year) and Sears will not consider replacing the unit, despite: 1) our obvious dissatisfaction with a lemon unit, 2) a well documented history of the defect with this particular Whirlpool oven and 3) an ongoing and escalating repair cost to Sears (it is under their extended warranty so the repair cost is on them although we did pay for this service up front on our appliances).I would stay away from not only Whirlpool appliances but also Sears as there doesnt seem to be any regard for the customer experience and taking care of a product problem (the right way) with a known defect. Sears has an opportunity to make this problem go away quite easily and retain a customer - fix the problem permanently or just replace the defective unit. Unfortunately, my experience to date with Sears standing behind the products they sell provides me with little confidence that either will happen.

The Whirlpool duet front loading washing machine came with our new house five years ago. That machine has destroyed multiple clothing items including very expensive sweaters and undergarments. It has destroyed biking shorts and just about anything of value. Even destroyed the bags fur delicate clothing. I have to get a repair guy out every year to replace the bellow too! It is terrible!!!

When out of town power lost, fridge did not start back up... Everything lost in fridge! If you do not lock it will not restart on power on! I found this out on my own. Brand new Whirlpool dishwasher from PC Richards. Model #WDT710PAYB2. Dont buy one of these! In the store, I was turned off by the panel being on top of the door and not visible when the door is closed. I dont understand why anyone would not want to see the cycles and operation but my husband insisted that was a good thing so I agreed to purchase. Well, its horrible! I pressed the panel buttons the first time I tried to use it, and the panel switch is erratic and all over the place. For example, if I press Normal, the Heavy cycle button light goes on. When I hit start, all the button lights shut off. I finally get all the lights to stay on and hit start (after about 10 tries) and when I shut the door, the start button blinks and beeps! The dishwasher does not start. After many attempts, I got it to run, miraculously, for about 10 minutes. It emptied the detergent dispenser and left everything inside wet and slimy. Nice. I cant believe Whirlpool would sell such an inferior product. I have always been a loyal Whirlpool customer, but after this experience, I think its time to switch appliance brands. Now I have to be inconvenienced without a dishwasher after spending over $500 and wait for a repairman. Thanks, Whirlpool!

Cannot reinstall oven door after glass cleaning. The worst design and absolutely no support from Whirpool. They said the instructions are in the Manual. NOT TRUE!!!. We bought our Whirlpool washer and dryer set through a PX at Fort Hood, Texas. Took it home, plugged it in and... nothing. Called the service desk, and they sent a repairman right away. He replaced the panel and the water intake fuse (I think? It was a fuse that dealt with the water filling) and then we were off and running. I thought, Great! Now I can wash laundry! After about a couple months, the washer would be so stinking loud in the spin cycle, we would plan outside activities ha ha. Fast forward 2 years, the loud sound continues, but Ive not had any problems. Then, Im washing a load of bed sheets, and just happen to walk past the washer while its spinning... I smelled something HOT and BURNING! Sure enough, it was the washer! I hurried and stopped the spin and unplugged the machine. Opened the door to pull out my sheets, and white smoke comes pouring out of the machine. IT NEARLY STARTED A HOUSE FIRE. I was praising God I smelled the problem. Who knows what would have happened. So I call an appliance shop I trust. They send out a guy who tells me I might as well purchase a new machine because the bearing is bad, and the repair is going to cost $600+. Never again, Whirlpool. Never again. You dont endanger my familys safety in exchange for a quick buck on cheap parts. Ridiculous. And, now that I am reading all these reviews on this website about my washer, I am floored. How is there not a class action lawsuit against this company? Mold and fire-hazards are serious infractions, in my opinion.

My Whirlpool side by side refrigerator which is not 7 years old has had more repairs than you can imagine. After paying over $1,500.00, I have had a repair service come out at least 5 times. Today, they say I need a new compressor at the tune of $850.00. This combined with my other repairs would add up to around $1,300.00. I am certainly not going to invest any more money in this refrigerator. I wouldnt recommend a Whirlpool Gold for anything. Dont know which brand I am going to purchase now as they certainly dont make anything like they use to. Totally disillusioned!!!

The washer and dryer leaves the clothes heavy and wet, the balancing does not work, therefore the spin cycle just bangs against the machine, I tried emailing the support but no response, can somebody reach out.

In September 2011, we purchased a Cabrio Washer and Dryer. Both appliances are extremely inferior. My first complaint to Whirlpool was in reference to the dryer. It kept overheating to the point that you couldnt even touch the clothes. In doing research I found this was a common problem and in some cases, even caused fires. After finding this out and contacting Whirlpool to complain and see if there were any recalls, they indicated they knew nothing about the problem and recalls would have to come from their legal department. I asked to speak with someone in that department and was told that was not possible. We threw the machine away and purchased a new no frills dryer. Now the washer has totally died. It would make noises, lockup, not spin, not clean, etc. Basically all the complaints other consumers have listed. It is now on the curb and I will again have a purchase a new washer. The Whirlpool refrigerator I bought at the same time is a whole other story. Please do not buy Whirlpool. When contacted they show no empathy or concern about the inferiority of their products. There are only the 2 of us now and we do laundry one time a week. It amazes me how much money I am out between the initial purchases, repairs, and replacements. My daughter has also had the bad luck of purchasing Whirlpool appliances and is now experiencing the same problems. Get the word out to all of your friends to NEVER purchase Whirlpool. They are apparently only concerned with their profits and not making good products or caring about their consumers problems. I made a very expensive mistake and will never purchase their products again. I have made them aware that I would be placing my review on your website along with the other 1,690 complaints. I have all my documentation re purchases, repairs, replacements and emails sent to Whirlpool. Unfortunately I cannot document all the calls made to this company. My wife and I bought a Whirlpool water heater NU50T121-403, SER# 0733323 as we researched online the best efficient water heater for the money... which was actually more than we budgeted for. We purchased it from LOWES and our Plumber had to return the first heater due to a huge dent on the outside of the body once it was removed from the box. LOWES replaced it, no problem and he installed it. GREAT, HOT water for about six (6) months. Pilot light went out and has continued failing after relighting numerous times! Now we have the four (4) blinks indicating that the Honeywell gas control needs to be replaced only after 27 months of use. Whirlpool offers 12 year warranty on tank & parts, but come to find out, not this part. We were both raised on Whirlpool products and thought we based on our parents successes of various Whirlpool products, we were buying quality brand. We were soon disappointed and will never buy another Whirlpool manufactured Brand again!!

Purchased range 10-26-12. Had 3 service calls first year. 1st time, it started. When service guy came a few months later, same problem. A new igniter was installed. 3rd time, another igniter was installed. My year warranty had run out but still had same problem. Asked for a new range, was rejected. Im afraid if burner is lit, had we try to start oven we are going to have explosion.

I purchase almost four thousand dollars on WHIRLPOOL appliances this month. From: HOME DEPOT 114 FEDERAL RD DANBURY CT. Received the items a week and a half ago 9/15/18. I was told to exam item no scratches, dents etc. I did that and had them put in place. I didnt get a chance to use washer until the fourth day. At which time realized it didnt work. Went over to store and they gave me Whirlpool repair phone number. Called and was told they only repair Mon - Fri 8am-4pm. I work every day until 5pm and off weekends. Told Whirlpool repair just that. THEN I TOLD by girl I was speaking to (Whirlpool repair) I COULD JUST RETURN THE WASHER TO THE STORE (Home Depot) MYSELF. I WAS FIT TO BE TIED. I told her, What should I do? Carry it on my back? I have never been treated so poorly. I just moved here from Florida, started a new job. I cant take a day off to have the washer that should have worked fixed. I will never purchase anything else from Home Depot if this is how Im treated, and Whirlpool their customer service stinks!!! So now Im stuck with a washer that doesnt work and a company (Whirlpool) wont accommodate their customer. (Whats wrong with this picture???)

On December 24, I was planning my annual Christmas Eve dinner when my oven just decided to quit working completely. This was the third time my oven broke down on me. I called Whirlpool and they pretty much told me theyll get to me when they can but it was the holiday. So I understood that it would be a few days. I had a technician come out to my house on December 27 and tell me that he needed to order a fuse. He called all over the state to find one but no one had one so he put it as an emergency. The technician did everything he could to accommodate me but could only do so much. So I waited and waited but heard nothing.Today, January 3, I called the department to see when my part was going to be here and they tell me January 10 - unacceptable. I called the management team and spoke with Tiffany who pretty much just told me, Sorry. You have to wait five business days to find out if the part is available. If not, then we can discuss sending new ovens. Why would we have to wait five business days from January 3 when it was ordered on December 27? Look, Im a very reasonable woman and this is the first time I have ever complained online about a company. But I have gone 10 days without an oven and I have a family that I cook for daily.My ovens are four months old so this should not be happening. And when it does, there should be parts to fix it or a replacement on hand because no family should have to go without an oven when they just paid a ** load of money for it. Customer Service should be a little more sympathetic and a little less about business because at the end of the day, theyre not the ones suffering, we are. Also if this part is on back order, that tells me that this probably happens often. Maybe Whirlpool should recall this oven model because whoever heard of an oven overheating? Get it together. I will spread the word of mouth about my experience!

Our daughter has a Whirlpool Duet front loader washer & dryer combination which is less than 3 years old. The washer shows fault code 71 and will not run or release the door lock. The first repairman said the interface board and/or a computer will need to be replaced. Cost is $600 to $1,000. I called Whirlpool. They recommended their trained tech be called out. He looked at the broken machine and determined the interface board was bad, and he put a temporary repair on the washer and said Its okay to use for now. He will return in 2 weeks with the replacement part. We tried the machine with a load of clothes. The machine filled up with water then quit, and the door was locked. We called to get a tech to open the door so we could retrieve our clothes. No one is available for 1 1/2 week. I called Whirlpool and was told a claim form would be mailed to me so we could be compensated for the damaged clothes. The letter arrived. I was appalled when I read it. First, it came from their Legal dept. The intent was to scare us into getting a lawyer or just use our homeowners insurance for the damaged clothes claim. I called Whirlpool back several times and was told too bad, so sad. Whirlpool might make a good machine; they cant prove it by me but their support rates a big zero.

Our 2005 whirlpool duet washer steel drum and plastic tub broke. My husband diagnosed the problem and opted to fix it to save money. The parts are under warranty but you still pay labor and technician visit running up to $250-$300. The plastic tub was obtained only if we paid for it $100 and the steel drum they sent under warranty. The plastic tub has a hole with a black plug and sensor in it. There is a discrepancy in the measurement of the old tub and new tubs hole that is slightly larger, therefore when installed a steady stream of water leaks out. I now have 3 plastic tubs as that was their solution, to send more of the same that did not measure correctly. An investigation was done to determine they were the correct parts. As asked we had a whirlpool technician come to verify parts were correct and being installed correctly and the parts sent would not fix the machine due to the hole discrepancy. Many calls were made to whirlpool and they continue to give me the runaround. They now are not taking their technicians information. The technician has given the information to 3 sales reps in the new england area and made several phone calls to whirlpool and no one is willing to give us a solution.

Whirlpool claims this technology works to clean the oven; however after one month of use and one casserole spill, we attempted 3x to use this system and the cleaning process was a total failure. The gravy spill on the bottom and mild oil residue on the sides from roasted vegetables was the same as before the cleaning cycle was tried. The cleaning kit accessory from the company was a joke. It consisted of 2 sponges and a small scraper! We purchased the slide in model WEE745HOFS. Buyers of any and all Whirlpool products with Aqualift BEWARE... It does not work. We have since replaced the product with a range with the traditional cleaning process system that has worked for decades in most major brands.

I purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio on October 27th, 2010. The Cabrio is always giving me the UL code, which indicates the load isnt in balance. Ive been doing laundry for 27 years. I know how to load dirty clothes into a washing machine evenly. Sometimes it will take me all day to do one load of laundry! Seven months after my purchase, my Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine started giving me the F51 error code. I called the phone number on my Lowes receipt for warranty work. Two weeks later, I finally had my washing machine running again. I was happy and thought Id only have to deal with the UL code. Boy was I wrong?!Now Im two weeks away from my warranty expiring. Im getting the F51 error code again! This washing machine is an $800 piece of junk! Hopefully, I can get the Cabrio repaired before my warranty expires in two weeks. I do a lot of laundry. We are a family of six. So, I know Im hard on washing machines but come on. Shouldnt an $800 washing machine last at least two years? Im not even a full year into owning this junky washer and Ive had two breakdowns! In my opinion, this washing machine needs to be recalled and people need a reliable replacement or refund.

I have a washer, dryer, dishwasher, hood vent, stove top, and oven, all Whirlpool. I cant say enough how pleased I am with this product. My old washer and dryer was over 23 years old when I needed to replace them. Thank you Whirlpool for making such a quality product.

I am making my last payment on this junk ** washer and I cant wait to leave this one at the curb! Like the other reviewers...this machine leaves white deodorant on dark shirts, sheet sets either constantly off balance or parts of them still dry after wash cycle is finished! I changed detergents several times thinking that was the issue...but the bottom line is the sell of having no agitator and water saving features leave you with dirty clothes and off balance crazy shaking nonsense! DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!

I bought it 1 week 1/2 ago and cannot wash correctly the clothes in it, have to rewash 2 or 3 times and bedding? Forget it. Still is dirty. Water does not go over the clothes, it suck for the price I paid.

Cabrio Top Washer - Disappointed!! Its selling point was using less water but do they realize that you DO have to use a little water to clean clothes. Leaves residue on every load and where I have to use the extra rinse cycle and that still doesnt work. This product is going on eBay today! Never again Whirlpool.

I bought a new home from Pulte recently. All of the kitchen appliances were Whirlpool which came with a 1 year warranty. I have had problems with 2 out of the three that were installed. The oven had a faulty control panel. I am still waiting for the replacement from Whirlpool which I am told could be months getting there. The dishwasher they installed, FX1700017, leaks water from the vent at the top of the door. When you open the door after running a load, there is a puddle under the vent from water that is trapped in the vent. The service company that they sent out said it is a design flaw and there is no fix for it.Whirlpool just keeps saying since there arent any error codes coming up, there isnt a problem with the way the dishwasher is functioning. I was told I could pay for another opinion, but they wouldnt guarantee to reimburse me if they couldnt prove the dishwasher wasnt functioning properly. I guess they dont consider someone slipping and falling because they didnt see the puddle before it got cleaned up a problem. I have given up trying to get anywhere with Whirlpool. I will take my $150.00 for a second opinion and the $200.00 that they want for an extended warranty and put it toward a dishwasher that doesnt leak! Beware!!

I purchased my new washing machine in September 2011. When I removed the clothes from the washer after the first wash, I noticed that there was soap on several of the items. I ran them through another rinse and spin cycle, and there was still soap on several items. In an effort to avoid this problem, I no longer use the soap dispenser tray, and use the bulky cycle to get more water in the tub. Like most of the others, the clothes are tangled and stretched from one side of the tub to the other. Also, it takes 1 hour and 36 minutes to run a complete cycle. The manager of Sears tells me, that because of government regulations, that in a few years, you will not be able to buy any other type of washer. I purchased this machine, because it was highly recommended by Consumers Report magazine. I filed a complaint with them eight days ago, but have not had a response.

Havent even had the Cabrio washer for three years & Ive hated it since day one!!! First, our clothes dont come out clean OR come out with white streaks (changed soap, still happened!). Washing bedding is a nightmare! They are sopping wet & I have to wring it out. Finally broke down today & the repairman quoted over $600 to fix (paid $800). Take this piece of junk away!!! It cost me less to replace than get fixed; way to help the environment!

Great fit and easy for kids to use. Has preset buttons for easy use. This oven is sharp looking. Very easy to clean. This oven was a great value for the money. I would recommend this microwave to anyone and family members.

I bought my new ceramic top electric range/oven with convection, and the aqua-lift cleaning system in spring 2017. The aqualift cleaning function is a joke, so be prepared to be down on your hands and knees scrubbing. Im careful, and Ive not spilled anything yet, but the oven still gets splatters from roasting meats, etc. Id hate to see what Ill have to deal with when I actually let something spill. Today, as I was down on my hands and knees trying to clean it, I noticed that the enamel is chipping off where the oven racks slide in. Great. I have never had an oven where the enamel came off, much less within a year. I am struggling with heart failure, and I am not up to fighting with Whirlpool.

I purchased Whirlpool top loading washing machine model # WTW57ESVW less than 2 years ago. It stopped working yesterday. I had a trusted professional repairman evaluate it today. The motor needs to be replaced after less than 2 years?! The customer service reps basically said sorry. I should have purchased the extended warranty. Is it not reasonable to trust that a Whirlpool washing machine motor should last more than 2 years.I am very unhappy and very angry that Whirlpool will not stand behind their product. The last customer service rep I spoke to suggested she could send one of their repairmen and replace the motor at a cost to me of $299.00. So, after less than 2 years, I am offered an amount to pay of about half the cost I paid less than 2 years ago for the brand new washing machine. My home is full of Whirlpool appliances. I have been a good and loyal customer for over 30 years. I am very angry and upset with Whirlpool. Please explain to me why it is not reasonable for me to trust and believe that a Whirlpool top loading machine that is well cared for and not abused in any fashion should last longer than 2 years? Is this being a loyal Whirlpool customer gets you, I should have purchased the extended warranty”? We are talking about a motor here, not a fabric or bleach dispenser that breaks. I paid about $3500 for this, alleged, top of the line fridge a little over 2 years ago. The freezer, bottom type, doesnt get cold enough to thoroughly freeze food. Called Sears, they said out of warranty, the same with whirlpool. But they can have a tech run a diagnostic check for $85. Here we go. They suck more money out of the consumer game, and try to baffle them with **, legal jargon. FYI for all. Dont buy Whirlpool from any store selling Whirlpool products, any Whirlpool products. Whirlpool Gold Fridge Model GR2SHWXP002 purchased on August 15, 2007 for $1,368.77. Only repair issue so far was water leaking from the Water Inlet Valve Item # 949403. I bought a new part on Aug 8, 2011 for $73.45 and replaced it myself. The plastics on the fridge door have yellowed. No smoking in the house so not sure why the plastic has changed colour??? Would I buy one again?? Yes I love the water through the door feature and the automatic ice maker. 10 years old now and no major problems.

The Cabrio top load washing machine is a piece of junk, an expensive piece of junk. The only way someone could give this machine a good review is if they work for Whirlpool or they think beating clothes up against a rock in the filthy Ganges River makes them clean.We purchased the HE top loader because we were told that all the problems of the front loaders had been worked out in the new top loaders. What a joke. At least the front loader I had, cleaned the clothes. Since we got the glass top model, I made a movie that shows several items of clothes just sitting on top, not getting wet, not getting moved around, not getting rinsed; therefore, not getting clean.After the wash cycle spins down, the clothes are pinned up against the side and the rinse barely touches them before its final spin. We have several items that had stains left from the soap - yes, we used HE soap, Im not stupid. Never again will I waste my money on a Whirlpool product or anything from Best Buy.

I purchased a small dorm size fridge from Target after our electric went off and was gonna be off for a while and we purchased this to run with a generator and its 110 power also but this is a super little fridge and I would definitely would buy again.

I have fought with this issue hundreds of times over the last 3 years. My old water heater work fine until it started leaking, I bought a Whirlpool 40 gal gas hot water heater from Lowes. Worked fine for the first month, then this pilot light issue started popping up intermittently. Now the damn thing doesnt want to light at all. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT THE REST OF MY LIFE, and I will tell everyone I know that WHIRLPOOL Products are not quality products. DO NOT BUY. There have been so many class action lawsuits about this product and Whirlpool keeps on selling this junk. Im so frustrated with WHIRLPOOL customer support I cant think straight. To reduce your headaches in life, do not buy Whirlpool products as they are junk and their customer support is terrible also.

I purchased a washing machine and dryer 1 year ago. Since then it has started to get spots on the control panel where you select size, temperature, etc. I also purchased an extended warranty through Home Depot and is still under warranty for 3 years. I was told for a few more days is still under man warranty. I contacted Whirlpool and they said it is not their problem and sounds cosmetic - I think this is unfair being that I spent a lot of money and it has started appearing on the washer and dryer. No one wants to be responsible. I am a consumer who is very careful and have not had any spills or cleaned it with anything.

This washer is 5 years old and the top is rusting out on the inner rim. I have city water that has been tested and found to be totally safe to use and drink. Neighbors using the same water and owning different brand washers have no rust problems. Does anyone else have the same problem with their Cabrio washer?

I have Whirlpool Gold washer and dryer and microwave. All handles and grills and trays have broken. What a disappointment ! Their top of the line? We, at this house, will always avoid buying anything from crap pool gold!! Its a disgrace the way they make these things. And the support sucks!

Four years old and only used by a 2 family home. No kids overloading it. Probably wash 3 loads a week on average. After 4 years, it has started the grease flying out of the bottom and now leaking water. My appliance repair man told me to scrap it and buy a new one. The repair and the parts are too expensive and in the end it is still junk. I realize things wont last 30 years like they used to but can I get 7 years out of a major appliance?

I bought a Whirlpool over the range microwave in 2015, after about 6 months in I noticed that the microwave door was starting to crack. I thought maybe I bought a cracked one. About a year in the microwave is cracked. Pieces of the microwave are starting to fall on the food I am cooking. The last straw was when my 4-year-old was gagging and then choking on a piece of the plastic that fell from my microwave.

I purchased my water heater at Lowes and had it installed professionally. I suspected something was not quite right on numerous occasions because the hot water recovery time seemed excessive. I finally called Whirlpool and they gave me the names and numbers of two companies that were on their list. The first asked for the model number and normal information and never called back. The second showed up spent five minutes charged me 78 dollars and said they could not get the part (gas valve) I needed. And if I could get it from Whirlpool they would charge me 250 to put it on. They also said Whirlpool made horrible water heaters and I should save myself the trouble and just replace it. I have since heard from additional plumbers and the gas company to stay away from Whirlpool. I did have the water heater replaced. When they did it and they drained the old water heater it had so much sludge in it draining it was very difficult. The sludge is mystery since I have a softener in my home and it should have prevented that. The individual from that gas company said that was just one of the many issue others had experienced with these heaters.

I bought this washer thinking it would last me for a long time. And now it wont wring out my clothes and I just wanted to say I am disappointed in my Cabrio Washer.

I thank the folks at Whirlpool for building a washer (Cabrio tub bearing failure) that lasted 22 days just shy of four years, better than the Whirlpool Duet that lasted 14 months, tub bearing failure also. Now I have high confidence that Whirlpool pre-engineers failure into every washer they build.

I purchased a new Whirlpool Cabrio set, in 2009. I bought the top loading washer, and matching dryer. Since 2009, I have had the washer serviced FIVE times. Bearings, water pump, F1, F2, ul codes, and a few other things, I honestly cant remember. I love this capacity. But that is all I love about this machine. Today, the water pump went out again. I have been reading online regarding loose coins making their way into the drain pump, the hose, and other parts of the washer. I am diligent about emptying my pockets, but, obviously, someone in the house is not. There should be a trap for the coins, buttons, and any other debris that passes through, but, clearly there is not, and it appears I am not the only one with this problem. I am so frustrated. I paid almost $3,000.00 for this set. It was my very first brand new set and I have had so many problems with this. With all of the problems and all of the complaints, and so many similar complaints, why is Whirlpool not acknowledging them? Why are they not doing anything about it? Side note, my dryer works fine.

This is the second time since I have had the fridge in September 2011. I had to have a new compressor installed about two months ago, and now, it is doing the same thing again. I had lost all my food before and its happening again. Last time, it took over three weeks before the fridge got fixed.

Have had this Whirlpool for 17 years at least. Only issue we’ve had with it was the ice maker that went out after about 14 years. There is plenty of space in the door. A place that holds cans, 2 shelves that go across the door, a small shelf and a butter shelf with a lid over it. Nice looking too.

Its a piece of junk. The only time it will finish a wash and spin dry is when it is empty. Otherwise, it stops and lists an unbalanced error code. I opened up the service panels and found no broken hangers or clothes. There’s no way to bypass the system. I have read of similar issues and of course, its just out of warranty. I assumed the warranty was like other brands but it’s much shorter. What to do? Purchase a washer with dials and not a brain; it will last years. Note that the models without a brain cost far less.

Mold in my dishwasher right after having washed the dishes!! This is the first time I have seen the mold on the racks (lots of it!). However, my neighbor also has a Whirlpool and complains of the mold all the time. Also, my dishes often do not come clean. I would not have purchased a Whirlpool, but it came with the house, three years ago. Therefore, I do not have a receipt for it.

A few months ago our Whirlpool microwave just completely died. We had only been in our brand new home for about 18 months at the time, so I was very disappointed. I would have bought a different brand at that time, but didnt want it to look ridiculous, as it is mounted in the cabinet above the Whirlpool oven I was shocked to get a text from my wife a couple days ago, saying the same thing had happened to our oven. I purchased a 40-gal Whirlpool water heater model 40t91-403 last week and paid a plumber to have it installed. The old one (GE 40 gal) worked fine except for a leak. The new one used all of the old connections except the 2-inch in and out pipes. Same connections, hot, cold and gas. At first I got about a quart of hot water and then all cold. Whirlpool changed the valve and cold water pipe (inside the tank) and still the same. They are trying to tell me that the tank is fine - I have a plumbing problem. Two plumbers have told me different, but still they insist. Yes, I am upset. The old GE, even with a leak, performed better!

I purchased a new Cabrio Washing Machine and Dryer in March 2015. I have had 3 new washing machines thanks to the Customer Service provided by Lowes in Lindale Texas. The third washing machine has again lost its brain and the sensor to operate the machine. I have been waiting for the parts since December 2. Called it is still on back order. Unacceptable! It cost almost $60 dollars every 2 weeks for our washing at the Laundromat. Again unacceptable. All Whirlpool can say is We are sorry. When the machine works my clothes are beautifully cleaned using the new HE soap. Takes large loads and I love that part.I am sorry I bought a Whirlpool. Whirlpool would not work with me except to apologize and say the parts are on back order and I will get a call in 5 days for an update. These machines cost $900 each plus tax. They should work more than 3 months at a time. The first repairman could not explain anything. Said they were too new and he could not figure out what to do. The second repairman was more knowledgeable and explained what was wrong. Does not help that Whirlpool does not have an inventory of parts to take care of their customers.

I purchased an over-the-oven microwave in November 2020 (Model # WMH31017HZ). It worked until March 2021 then began tripping breaker. The Safety department at Whirlpool stated that I have to get a dedicated circuit. After spending an enormous sum to get that dedicated circuit the microwave worked until April when just opening the door caused a spark that the electrician and I observed. By now I am sure that I purchased a defective unit but Whirlpool was not believing it. (As as aside, expect to stay on hold for at least 10-30 minutes when you call Whirlpool).May 7th the serviceman from Guincho ordered parts that was needed to repair the oven. As of May 30th the part still had not arrived. Finally, after multiple calls and excessive hold time, Whirlpool agreed to refund my purchase price and as of this writing on July 26, 2021 I have not received it. In the meantime I purchased another brand microwave and have to look at their defective one until they decide to pick it up. They have lost a customer.

I bought washing machine in March 2012. Since the date of purchase, the machine is not working properly. Even though it is under warranty period, I have to spend money on my own to repair it. Whirlpool customer care never responds. When I ask to give the number of higher authorities, customer care denies to do that.

Whirlpool ADP100 wh. A few programs, washes well, dries ok, not great but ok. Standard free standing size, 60 x 85 x 59 cm. The washer itself is fine, but oh the cheap moulded plastic parts, utensil basket, water arms etc, so poorly made. Its amazing that a company would use such poor quality and design to save what can be a few cents on the overall product, personally I was disgusted at the cheap crappy plastic bits.

Their water heater is the worst ever! I will never buy another Whirlpool product. We purchased our water heater on January 17, 2010. We had to have the entire electronic system replaced in August 2011, including the lower element, control unit, thermisol, and electronic. Now, just a few short months later, the system is not working again, plus, the containment unit failed, flooding our basement. When we called Whirlpool, we were treated callously and rudely. Now, we have to pay to have the old unit removed, and a new one installed (they told us to throw it in our trunk and return it to Lowes, as if). Why did we pay to have this warranty when both the product, and the warranty are junk? Never, ever again! While Im at it, I should add that our range, and refrigerator are also made by Whirlpool, and those too, are pieces of junk. I guess were bucking up, and scheduling a new installation. If there are any further problems, I will be contacting an attorney.

I have had to replace my Whirlpool 50-gallon hot water heater 2 times. First time it broke, it caused thousands of dollars’ worth of damages plus Im out a $760.00 deductible. I had the last one just over 1 month and couldnt exchange it at Lowe’s because it’s a few days over a month. So I had to get return authorization before I could return it again. I went through speaking to a hateful CSR. After calling back again, the lady, a real nice lady, helped me. I will never buy another Whirlpool product again, and if anyone is smart, they will stay away from them too. Hateful, hateful CSR. Beware.

Although we live in Canada, we purchased our slide-in oven at Sears Roebuck in Buffalo, NY only because of the size availability only in the US (actually, the unit was manufactured in Canada as we found out later!). Obviously, this created another problem since the unit was not underwritten by Canadian Electric codes, Sears Canada repair would not touch it! Once installed, it worked great until the first problem with the oven quitting after self-cleaning. It is the second time in 3 years that both the thermostat and the sensor went in this RBS245 slide-in oven. Once the self-clean cycle completes (quite smelly!) and cools, the oven does not operate rendering the oven useless. First time, in 2009, Sears repair only suggested (since they would not do repair on it for reasons stated above) which parts could be faulty: Timer, sensor, thermostat or elements. It was thought to be the electronic timer unit, which was replaced at a $215 (needlessly) because that was OK. Both thermostat and sensor cost $150. Even the elements were replaced, $52. The second time, just a week ago, exactly the same happened. I replaced the 2 items: Sensor and thermostat at a cost of $154 and the oven worked fine again. I called both Whirlpool US and Canada, but no one could/would give any answers why this happens.So far, it cost $600 in parts to repair! This is nonsense from a company that has had good reputation and record. Obviously, that is changing! If Whirlpool cannot engineer a product that works as they say it does, they should close the shop! Reading here, there are others who complained with the same problem. It is time for Whirlpool to come clean!

The average life of a refrigerator is 11 years. We purchased a Whirlpool convertible refrigerator (Model EL7JWKLMS02, Serial # EWR1339731) on 6/12/04 from the Lowes here in Visalia, CA. The first delivered was DOA and Lowes delivered another. That should have been a warning sign. We have had several problems with the product, as early as 2006. All repairs went through Sierra Appliance & Franks Appliances.We are now in the market of another refrigerator to replace this one. We have had to have freon added now for the third time. Sierra Appliance was unable to find any leak, but each time, the freon was depleted. In addition to the health hazard of having freon leaking into the house, we have had the distinct displeasure of having to deal with food waste, etc. Because of the ongoing problems with this product, we are now facing the reality of purchasing another refrigerator to replace this Whirlpool product.Due to this, I feel it is difficult to consider another Whirlpool product and will question any product to ensure that it is not Whirlpool-related. If there is anything that Whirlpool or Lowes can do at this point, it would be appreciated. Thank you for reviewing this note of dissatisfaction. It appears that we will be shopping for a new refrigerator this weekend unless we hear from Whirlpool. In any event, I would like this recorded as a complaint from a former customer.

I purchased a new Whirlpool top load washer and dryer in 2012. I heard all kinds of crazy stories about all the new machines, so I tried to stay with the regular top load style. About 6 months ago my machine seems to have lost its mind! It forgets where it is in the cycle and pulls hot water when it should be cold and the washing machine has even overflowed all over my laundry room floor. I tried unplugging it, but thats just a temporary fix, it goes right back to its antics! I had my last washer and dryer for over 12 years. Im really upset that I spent a small fortune on this machine and now it needs repairs! Repairman is scheduled for next week. I will never buy Whirlpool again! JUNK!!!!

We have had this Whirlpool washer duet 5 years. It regularly rips shirts, underwear, socks, and sweatshirts. Jeans or heavy denim are safe but polos, hanes, or flannel are not. We have been putting our clothes into laundry bags and lingerie bags for a couple of years now to wash safely. Additionally it leaks out the front door. We clean it regularly and it still has mold growing on the rubber gasket - we do prop the door open also. All in all it is a terrible dryer. My previous Maytag was fabulous. I will never buy a Whirlpool again!

After doing much research on refrigerators, I chose the Whirlpool with the French doors and bottom freezer. Within a month, I had to call the repair service. The freezer made a thick layer of ice on the bottom, wouldnt shut properly (I had to keep a heavy box in front of it to keep it closed) and frosted over all the food in it. On his second visit, the repair man told me that the company knows about the problem, that there was a problem in the design of the appliance, and created a piece to be installed in the machine to alleviate the problem. The problem has not been fixed with that added piece, and the repairman has been here a few more times. Now the freezer just randomly stops making ice on top of all the other problems it has. The retailer would not take the fridge back, and I refused to buy an extended warranty for an appliance that the company themselves knows is a lemon.

I took the time to read the owners manual, and then ran machine (washer wtw5000dw0). Using an affordable HE approved detergent (Xtra), I had no problems. If the washer doesnt fill or drain correctly, look up how to recalibrate it, was easy to do because I did that after transporting it. My clothes are cleaner, and I am using LESS detergent!

Whirlpool model N40T91 with FLAME LOCK - first failure was the controller valve only within 9 months of a new installation, replaced sort of free of charge, landlord had to pay ship charges. Days and days without hot water. About 6 months later, pilot failed to stay lit. Landlords maintenance man called Whirlpools Customer Service. They had him jump through hoops and finally told him to press a white reset button on the igniter. Okay, that worked. A few days later, pilot went out again, white button was reset, working again. Recently, and more frequent now, white igniter button keeps popping out, and we keep resetting it and relighting the heater, repeatedly, 4 times in one day.Maintenance man comes and calls Whirlpool Customer Service. They advise him to check this and check that. Everything seems to be in order. They say they will send out a qualified service person to diagnose a potential problem, a charge of $200.00. Maintenance man and landlord say, No thanks. Maintenance man goes to Lowes to buy a different brand model. Guess what? Envirotemp Hot Water Heaters have the same control device as the failing Whirlpool. He reboxed it and took it back and said, No thanks. Ill try to upload the images of the water heaters and controller you should stay away from purchasing. Meanwhile, maintenance man went to Menards and purchased a Richmond model, a well known, and reliable water heater manufacturer.

Unfortunately where I live the walls are thin. And my neighbors have complained about how loud my washing machine is. I load it correctly and sometimes while it’s washing it rearranges the clothes and it becomes unbalanced and makes incredibly loud thumping sounds when this happens. I’d say 1 out of every 4-5 times. Also I have multiple towels and clothing that have been pulled. The threads of brand new towel sets ruined from the washer.

Whirlpool Duet - they are highly rated and are aesthetically pleasing. Highly rated, they are expensive, my last Duet w/d didnt last as long as expected. Ive had to repair both machines once since I purchased them. Good quality is of utmost importance, plenty of washing and drying options, front loading washing machine, full size extra large capacity, attractive machines, good reputation for quality and lack of repairs.

My gas range doesnt work all that well. Sometimes the flame catches and lights, sometimes it doesnt. Oven seems to be less than steady in cooking. It is ok, but I wouldnt buy again.

My refrigerator is a side by side and its freezer compartment is small (width). Whirlpool is always my brand of choice for household appliances. I personally would not choose the side by side design again but I would choose Whirlpool.

It took several delivery attempts to get a refrigerator without cosmetic flaw and it only lasted four years before Freon leak in evaporative system occurred. It would have cost more to repair than replace. Needless to say, I replaced it with another brand.

I purchased a dishwasher from Menards. It was a top of the line Whirlpool Dishwasher. We ordered new cabinets for a kitchen upgrade and when the cabinets arrived they were damaged during Thanksgiving holiday. We purchased the dishwasher and it sat in our garage until the second set of cabinets arrived in mid January.Once the GC installed the new cabinets we noticed a small dent in the front of the stainless steel dishwasher. I notified Whirlpool and they took my model and serial number. The supervisor April said there is nothing that I can do. You passed the 30 day cosmetic warranty. I explained the issue to her and she didnt seem to care.The dishwasher sat in the garage for 7-8 weeks. This is not the consumers fault. This company could of sent a service mechanic out and replaced the front panel. But she chose to ready some meaningless policy to me. I will never buy a Whirlpool product again, and I will tell everyone about the poor and unprofessional service that Whirlpool offers.

Was baking a pie when suddenly noticed the electric range had caught fire underneath the bottom of the oven. I could see partially through the slits inside that the heating element was on fire. Could not get to heating element as it covered. Shut the door and turned the oven off so the fire would die out. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I was baking pecan pie. Whirlpool is no longer a quality brand. Washing machine bought at the same time has been repaired twice since owning. Also, Aqualift technology is a joke. It doesnt remove any messes burned during cooking. I wish Id stayed away from this complaint. Bought a stove, washer, and dryer. Dryer has been the only appliance we havent had a problem with. We saved over a year to ripped off by Whirlpool. I expected a washer and stove to last far longer than 3 years. Actually would be 3 yrs come December. So disappointed.

This refrigerator stopped working withing 2 weeks of delivery. Lost a great amount of food. It was a real hassle to get the warranty company out. Took several days. Now there are places on each shelf in the refrigerator where food freezes and I have to throw it out. I am not real happy with this.

I purchased French door refrigerator WRF989SDAE00 3/2014 from BrandSmart to upgrade from a side by side Kenmore purchased in 2005 with my home (no mechanical issues with my Kenmore and thank goodness I kept it in the garage). Within 2 months the freezer would not stay cold enough to freeze ice cream and Whirlpool sent an authorized repair company (FLAMINGO APPLIANCE SERVICE) to replace the compressor. Well this became a reoccur theme every 2 - 2 months the refrigerator has an issue with maintaining temperatures cold enough to freeze ice (so puddles of water all over the floor from melted ice in the ice maker) and forget about buying ice cream. We have not purchased ice cream since the second time this piece of junk broke down.This is my FOURTH REPAIR (3 COMPRESSORS, 1 EVAPORATOR, AND, 1 CONTROL PANEL). All but the last repair occurred during the warranty period but Whirlpool refuses to replace the unit. Side note: I also purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher the same day as my refrigerator and it also stopped working within the same week of the first refrigerator repair. So far I have not had any issues with the dishwasher. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCES... NEVER!!!

I have had this washer for about 7 years. I have not had any problems with it. I wish that it is stingy with rinse water. I see suds on the items before the rinse cycle and it doesnt seem to use enough water for a good rinse. Therefore I use the extra cycle.

I bought this Whirlpool Cabrio washer three and 1/2 years ago and the assembly which is basically the transmission and the assembly which is the agitator is out! Needs replaced! This is complete crap! The new parts will costs over $500 bucks plus labor! Ridiculous! My last washer which was a Maytag lasted me 20 years! What a piece of junk! Now I have to. It a new washer! No thanks to you Whirlpool! I will never buy another Whirlpool appliance again! Neither will my family or friends!

Had a part come off right after our purchase but was a easy fix to repair. The silverware basket also kept coming off until we looked at it and realized it was on wrong. This dishwasher is much quieter than our last one. It also shows fingerprints. We got this dishwasher in a group purchase during a sale at Lowe’s that included the refrigerator a stove, microwave and this dishwasher.

N40T61-343 Whirlpool Hot Water Tank - Purchased this hot water tank and had problems keeping lighted. This hot water tank has never worked correctly, every week the burner needs removed and cleaned or the flame burns under burner. The wires burn up and you need to buy a new burner. I have bought two new burners and am fed up trying to have hot water with this Whirlpool unit. The gas company has been here three times, they blame a poor design.
