The exterior look of the refrigerator (WRX735SDBM00) is impressive and the stainless steel does not show finger prints easily. It has two french doors on top, a middle drawer, and the freezer drawer on the bottom. The interior is 25 cf, but there isnt much space, even with reconfiguring the shelves, and the crisper/meat drawers are so small, that a large bell pepper wont fit. When one French door is closed it pops open the other door, which then does not close back tightly. Although there is an alarm system to warn a door is open, it only works if the doors are open and not just cracked. We have to constantly push on both doors to be sure they are closed tightly, even after washing down the gasket to get a better seal.

Bought this side by side, Whirlpool with ice maker and water dispenser in April 2013 at Home Depot. From the beginning, we have NEVER been able to get any chilled water out of the refrigerator. Sometimes the water is even warmer than the water out of the tap. Repeated attempts to fix and now Whirlpool tech Tom, told repairman, sorry this is normal, no refrigerator can guarantee temp of water.” Ive NEVER had a refrigerator with a water dispenser not chill the water much less, come out WARMER! Model no. WTW4950XW is a piece of pure junk. Bought this machine 2yrs, 4 months ago. I just replaced it and to be sure not with another Whirlpool. The machine went out. Just quit. Nothing on control panel (computer). Didnt call for service tech as this machine has been crap since I bought it. Tried to return it but couldnt after I first used it. It would only give hot water on 2 cycles and that was on bulk or delicate. The regular cycle would only give warm but actually it was cold. Not enough water for 6 pieces of small clothes on regular. More water on delicate. Didnt wash very well. Clothes were not really as clean as they should have been. I used to only buy Whirlpool appliances but have now switched. They are bilking the consumer with subpar machines.

The Cabrio is the absolute worst washer that Ive ever owned! No matter what combination of setting I use, my clothes come out dingy, all twisted and wrinkled, and full of lint and detergent residue (I use liquid detergent made specifically for HE washers). Every setting runs for over an hour. So much for high efficiency! What it saves on water it more than wastes on electricity!! More often than not, the entire load becomes enveloped in one of the items to create one huge ball. A t-shirt stretched to encompass the remaining clothes into a perfect sphere! When that happens, some of the laundry in the middle of the big ball is barely damp. The dryer is just as bad, even the towels come out wrinkled. How is that possible? And again, it takes over an hour to dry a load.Whirlpool customer service is awful. When I called to complain, the agent began schooling me on how to wash clothes. Im 66 years old, Ive washed a few clothes in my lifetime and have always prided myself in my white whites and bright colors. I have a new house and the builder provided all the appliances. Based on my past negative experience with Whirlpool products and their customer service, I would not have purchased Whirlpool.

I have had this product now for 1.5 years and am very dissatisfied with it. Whirlpool calls their oven an Aqua Lift Self Clean, which is terribly misleading. There is nothing self-cleaning about it, except that the person who needs to clean it is me (myself)! I cannot use oven cleaners on it, because that will void my warranty, so the only way to clean it is to scrub, scrub, scrub, down on my hands and knees, which I havent had to do for many a year. My second issue is with the glass stovetop. I have had many glass tops before and have never, never had such trouble cleaning it. Every time I use the stovetop I need to scrub and polish vehemently to clean it. And thirdly, the dials fail very quickly, and to replace them costs me $50.00 a pop! In just 1.5 years two dials have failed. This is just unacceptable, and I say shame on Whirlpool, and shame on the company that sold it to me. I will never, ever purchase another Whirlpool appliance again.

Our gas stove (Whirlpool WFG714hLAS1) has been working fine and it looks great. However I just tried the self clean cycle to clean it up. I dont do a lot of cooking with only the two of us, but I like to keep things clean. I was very surprised after the first time - it didnt look much different than before I ran it! I was used to simply wiping down the oven following a cleaning, just removing the leftover ash. I havent had to scrub an oven for many years and it is very hard for me. I ran a second cleaning cycle and it didnt look any cleaner. We both had to kneel down and try a variety of non abrasive cleaners which finally got most of the grease spots, but not all. I guess we will just have to cover the roasts and try to keep aluminium foil on the bottom rack as much as possible. PLEASE re-consider buying any brand stove that has this awful feature, unless you like cleaning ovens by hand!

I’ve had the dishwasher for at least 3 yrs. if not longer. I have a long history with Whirlpool products and so far I haven’t had any problems with my past purchases. They normally wear out from age because if you take care of it normally they last for years.

My Whirlpool dishwasher washes dishes well, when it drain but it will not drain. I purchased insurance repair service from AIG. AIG is a total rip off. I paid them over $300. I have called many many times. They promise someone will call but not one ever has. I would never work with AIG or Whirlpool ever again.

I have had my washer & dryer about 12 yrs. It has given me great service; however the spin mechanism on the washer stopped one month ago. It was replaced thru my home appliance warranty. I need the front loader style because Im disabled now, and cant take clothes out of washer. My previous set was Kenmore & it lasted 20 years. Looking to purchase in 2 months.

My Whirlpool refrigerator is more than a year old but have been complaining forever it seems. The serial # is 21142009, model WRT777REYWOO. All bottom cords etc. is out and 3 times I had people come out to fix and it never changed. The lettuce drawers freeze and in the freezer leaves ice cream pretty soft. I am so upset about this, and cannot afford a different one, no matter what brand because I paid around $1,000 for it and I am low income (my ss), 73, and disabled. But Whirlpool refrigerators are not worth buying if this is the standard policy to ignore their responsibility here. It leaks water from freezer to meat compartment, and I could go on but seems hopeless. My sister in Oregon had the same one and they took hers out finally so she could apply that amount to a different brand which has no problems.

Whirlpool Cabrio Washer - Sucks. I purchased it when I purchased my house. After having the washer for a year and a half it stopped draining and wouldnt spin. I paid $75.00 for the service call from my home warranty and thought that I was good to go for a while. But here I am a year with the same problem. I will never buy another Whirlpool again.

Contacted Whirlpool - unit (Cabrio washer 7600xt) is out of 12-mo warranty. Spoke with manager, Tracy **. She said they would not help - out of warranty. Called local parts/service center - ea. hinge is $42 plus shipping and labor to install. Obviously this is a defective design. The lid is too heavy. I was having a difficult time deciding to spend 150-200 dollars every 2-3 years for hinges on a $700 washer and then I read all the other complaints about Whirlpool washers. I will sell it for scrap and buy a better brand.

On 2-26-13 I received my new Whirlpool Refrigerator, Model WRF989SDAE, KSN 4191832, 28.6 cu ft, french door for a price of $2500.00. November 2014, refrigerator stopped working. Though it was not under warranty any longer, the repair company advised me that the problem was a warranty item and repaired it at no charge. This process took several hours of work by the repairman and two visits. He advised that this is an issue with the refrigerator and Whirlpool is aware. Now, May 2015, only 6 months later, ice is building up on the back wall of the freezer and the freezer is running constantly and very loud. Bringing in repair person, hopefully before it stops again. Appears to be related to the initial issue. I cannot trust this refrigerator and would highly advise everyone not to purchase a Whirlpool refrigerator. Refrigerator needs to be replaced, not repaired.

Whirlpool Cabrio - We bought this washer in June 2013. The gearbox just went out (17 Nov 2015). Terrible product. We had to buy a new washer; and it wasnt a Whirlpool.

I purchased my Cabrio a little over three years ago. Within the first month, the computer board had to be replaced and the tech informed me that it was not a malfunction in the unit; rather, it was because I did not have a sock bag for my socks and panties. I replaced the board, bought a sock bag and had no problems for about 1.5 years. A little over a year ago, the un-level started. I did research and found that I needed to replace the rods and add couplers as they were not thought of when the unit was created. This worked for an entire month. Now, I am in the same position again. It takes about 6 tries per load and the amount of water I am using is increasing with each failed attempt to wash. There should be a recall on this product. I notice there are many other complaints that match my frustrations exactly.

I purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine in October of 2016. This has to be the worst purchase ever. I agree with most of all complaints I have read. I am using more water, electricity and time to get one load half clean. How can this be efficient? The only problem I dont have is the noise; very quiet as if it goes to sleep. Seems to me the company has misrepresented this machine in its claim of being high efficient, washing (cleaning) machine. I too say Do Not Buy this Machine!

Our new fridge, which was already an exchange from another unit that went bad, kept freezing things in fridge compartment. A tech was sent out three times and then the compartment quit working completely. They stated they would replace for us, only way they would replace was to have them ship a new unit which would take two weeks. So we are without a refrigerator for two weeks. Asked if I could go buy one and be reimbursed. I could but I would NOT be reimbursed for full amount. The company reps I spoke to could have cared less about our situation especially Fred who supposedly is a supervisor. Do yourself a favor...DON’T buy Whirlpool. Their customer service sucks!!!

Have a warranty with them to get reimbursed for repairs for a year. Have had to use it twice now for the same part. Customer service told me itd take two weeks to get a certified repairman of their choosing to be reimbursed. Two weeks to go without a fridge is their solution and they have no other repairmen working. So I ask to speak to a supervisor and the representative tells me she wont transfer me out because thats the way it is. Paid out of pocket to get it fixed immediately instead of waiting.

I purchased a new Whirlpool 3.6-cu ft Top-Load Washer (White-On-White) Model #: WTW4800BQ from Lowes on 11/1/14, which was only 3 ½ years ago. The washer began making noise during the spin cycle so we called for service. The technician claimed that the bearing pack needed to be replaced and the repair would cost $400. This amount is $20 higher than the amount I paid to purchase the washer. Because the warranty is only one year, I contacted Whirlpool today and spoke with a representative. The representative said they could repair it under the warranty. When I asked how to proceed, she then asked me if I had an extended warranty. When I replied that if I had an extended warranty, I would be using it. She declined any assistance. I now have to purchase a new washer after only 3 and ½ years. I own 10 rentals. I promise that none of them will ever include a Whirpool product again.

We bought our washer, dryer, stove, microwave, and dishwasher in September of 2010. In 3 years we have had to replace our Whirlpool over the stove venting microwave, have spent over $550.00 on repairs on the Whirlpool refrigerator, and now have to replace our Whirlpool Cabrio washer. This of course does not include our time, effort & frustrations, especially with Whirlpool customer service. Will NEVER buy Whirlpool again. Were all for a class action lawsuit.

I wish I had purchased this a week before I decided to become an owner of a portable AC unit. This unit cools my 390sq ft living room with ease, paired with a large 3 speed stand-alone fan, the adjacent rooms feel the coolness as well. I plan on purchasing another uni, with a lower SQ rating as to have for the master bedroom. Easy to install, move and drain when the time calls for it. Not too loud, not too big, not ugly and I would purchase this unit again.

Water heater failed to maintain temperature. ** heads (more than 2) sent out by Whirlpool couldnt fix it! Calling the company was a waste of time! They run you in circles. Will never waste my money on a Whirlpool product again!!!! This was not my first problem with this company, but it is my last!

I find this to have perfect storage space both in the top for standard refrigerator and the bottom freezer. I would recommend this not for the style, the amount of room but also the quality. I have not been disappointed.

As a consumer, Im very disappointed in this Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum washer. It does NOT clean your clothes. Many times Im washing my clothes twice, only loading a 1/3 of a load of laundry in it because of this problem. No matter what you do, it just doesnt clean your clothes. Has anyone considered putting a law-suit against the company. They will NOT stand behind this issue, NOR replace your washer with something that works. Maybe that is what it will take. DO NOT ever ever ever ever ever ever buy this piece of crap washing machine. You will waste your money, your time, your extra detergent it takes to wash your clothes AND the cost of the machine too! The MILDEW SMELL is horrible and no matter what you do you CANT GET IT OUT! Ive tried it all. Im just angry because I had to save money to purchase this set and it is a piece of crap! The customer service is just a runaround, they wont help you! They will just give excuse after excuse. They need to replace EVERY ONE of our washers with something that works!!! For the cost of this machine alone, they should do something to resolve this issue!

I purchased at Lowes and they say was without warranty. I have had all kinds of trouble. The pilot light was replaced in the burner easily because of recall. Now the pilot will not stay lighted unless you tap on the gas valve. Then as soon as the water temperature comes up, the burner and the pilot light go out. I went to Lowes for a new gas valve. They have one for natural gas of $58. They do not stock for propane. I have to purchase from Whirlpool which costs $228. Their comment is that it is more expensive to build another. They do not change offices any longer because of PSi difference bull crap. I purchased a Whirlpool gas stove 2 to 3 years ago and I had to purchase an LP change over kit to use it. This is nothing but a case price extortion. I will never purchase another Whirlpool product again and I would advise no one else either!

I own an FG flame lock water heater and have been having the same problems with the pilot light not staying lit. This is very frustrating! I have searched many websites and am not able to find a replacement thermocouple for the stupid thing. Also, I have been told that the parts for the type of water heater that I own is no longer available. I tried to call the Whirlpool number a handful of times, but unfortunately, I was on hold the entire time and could not speak with a rep. I guess that explains all of the complaints I have read on here. I would like to be contacted or have help from someone regarding this matter! I would not recommend this product to anyone and I am very dissatisfied!

I live in Florida and in December 2012, purchased a Whirlpool upright freezer from my local Badcocks. About two months after the purchase it started making this weird loud sound. I contacted Whirlpool and they sent a local appliance company technician out to check it. The technician ripped my brand new Linoleum floor when pulling out the freezer. The result was, in his opinion, nothing was wrong with it, that the loud sound was normal. As it continued, another tech came out and his opinion was it needed a new compressor. So, it was replaced and lasted about a month. I was getting something out for dinner and noticed everything in my freezer was unthawed... all that money wasted a freezer full of food gone. So, Whirlpool once again sent the same appliance company out but a different technician. This one said it that he needed to order parts which he did, a different tech came out to install the parts and told us he didnt know what they were for and our freezer didnt need the parts the previous tech ordered. So this tech put dye in the lines and left. The dye leaked out from under my freezer all over the floor which is now stained because of the dye that leaked. This is the brand new floor they had already ripped during the first service call. So, now not only is my floor ripped but stained as well.Once again, about a month later, I find my freezer full of meat unthawed a third time. Once again I called and find out they have dropped the contract with the company that came out the first two times. So they refer me to another local appliance repair, and this new tech says that it needs a new compressor. This will be the second new one in less than 6 months. They order that part and repair the freezer; this fix lasted for about three months this time. On my fourth call to Whirlpool, I expressed my frustration with losing my food and the hassle of an inferior product purchased brand new under warranty. I definitely was not satisfied with the service and the customer service representative could not find my warranty record. He was also very rude and when he finally found my record, he told me I was no longer under Whirlpool warranty. This was wrong as I have my paperwork showing date of purchase AND the four-year extended warranty we purchased as well. I asked him what they would do for me since their inferior appliance and incompetent repair technicians cost me hundreds of dollars of ruined meat and other frozen food. He said they would do nothing except have another repair tech come out. Until the freezer is determined to be unrepairable that is all they can do.So I scheduled the tech to come out the fourth time and he found that some untrained tech had put oil in the line and the lines and compressor has to be replaced and flushed. I have already not had a freezer for a week waiting for tech to come out and now the parts are put on back order for another three weeks. The fourth repair tech called Whirlpool from my home, while I was standing there, and told them that it basically is beyond repair because of the price of parts and labor. He told Whirlpool it would be cheaper to replace the freezer but Whirlpool told the tech to replace the lines and compressor and flush everything out. So three weeks later, he comes back out on 10/13/2013 to make the repairs. I bought this freezer in December 2012 for $1200 and have been dealing with issues on and off since Feb. 2013 and now its 11/29/13 and once again my freezer has stopped working. I have lost all my food because Whirlpool sold me a defective appliance and would not make it right. I have asked them to replace it and they wouldnt. My husband and I have just purchased our second house and we were very excited about the remodel coming up in the kitchen. We were going to purchase stainless steel Whirlpool appliances, but after this company has treated me so badly, I will not buy anything with the Whirlpool name for our stove, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator.We probably would have spent about $3500 on appliances, but we will purchase a different brand and give our $3500 to a company that will treat me better as a customer .I used to have trust in this company because it is well known for quality products, but I dont trust them anymore. I will advise any of my loved ones and friends not to purchase any Whirlpool appliance because of the inferior quality and lack of interest in making this situation right. I tried for almost a year and gave them 5 opportunities to do the right thing and now Im done. They dont care about the customer and that is a shame because they have lost a valued customer. After much frustration and disappointment, as well as 2 huge repair bills with my front loading washing machine I sent it off to the scrap yard, still looking brand new, and went back to a top loading machine. I purchased a Whirlpool top loading, high efficiency, low water machine. I have had it for almost 2 years now and am extremely happy with it. I would highly recommend it. Fairly quiet and easy to use and takes very little detergent. It does not have an agitator so it is gentle on clothes. I know some users have complained about tangled clothes but, in my opinion, if it is loaded correctly this should not be a problem.

I have a Whirlpool Duet front loader. Sick of it since I bought it! Not enough water to wash & rinse clothes. After consulting sites on internet, husband decided to try adjusting part. He just took off the 3 screws & lifted top off. On the outside part that has a white plastic housing, he turned the longer screw 2 1/4 times clockwise. EUREKA! We have more water! You may need to start out adjusting 1 turn & work up till you see a water level you like. Just dont let the water come over the wide rubber water guard.

Amazing pice. Would recommend to anyone. The heat is great. The oven is amazing. I got this for my birthday and my kids were helping me to get it and I was so excited to receive it I was crying. Amazing machine, wish I had two. Would definitely buy again. I especially love how clean the oven top looks and how the knobs for the burners are easy to use.

Oh what a tangled mess you weave! Inappropriate water usage and bad agitator. The brain is not flexible. Most of all it locks me into a contract of this is it, do or die, you have no other options but to start again. It puts my clothes in abused mode! I say no more, taxes will bring me to buy your competitor. It is very large and way too heavy to move anywhere. No!!! I will never buy another. To the point with all required letters involved, No I will not recommend this (Cabrio washing machine) to anyone, or give it to a friend!

Our just over 1 year old Whirlpool washer died completely last month (mid May). After calling them and being directed to the extended warranty dept (which we ended up purchasing), a repair guy came out and told us it was our main controller board. Three days later, he returned with the board and nothing. We were then told it was the user interface. They were on backorder until June 5, which means our machine would be out of commission for three weeks. I just received another call informing us the part was now on backorder until June 15. Whirlpool, on what planet is it acceptable for your appliances to be out of commission for six full weeks? Never again.

We purchased the Whirlpool washer less than a year ago and are now having the 4th transmission put into it. We are also having the 3rd timer put into it. We purchased this from Sears and bought the extended warranty (thank God). One of the times the technician ordered the parts to repair the machine. The service center sent the wrong parts and we had to wait an additional week for the correct parts to arrive. The 3rd transmission they installed lasted a week before it leaked gear oil all over our floor. When you do get a service call scheduled it will get rescheduled to a later date. This happened twice. They also cancelled the service call once before they fixed the machine. If I could give a zero star for this I would. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY A WHIRLPOOL WASHER AND DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO SEARS FOR ANYTHING. Worst company to business with. I will say this that the service guy that comes out to do the work is a good guy. He stayed until almost 9:00 pm on one of the service calls. Hes been here so many times our dog knows him and doesnt bark at him anymore.

Hot water heater goes out. Try to relight it as instructed. Pilot light goes out as soon as I release pressure. Call tech support. After a 10min hold time, I was instructed to rest unit, wait 10 to 15 min and try again. Did not work. Called back and was told it was the thermopile. Had it shipped and replaced at $45.00. Still did not work. Was instructed to go thru the same process of lighting it, still did not work. Then I was given a ref# and was told that my PARTS was warranty and not labor. Okay now one time I was told I WILL BE CHARGED WITH A DIAGNOSTIC FEE OF $99.00 and still no hot water. Next step LAWYER.

I bought a Whirlpool range. After 15 months, I hadnt even paid it off yet the oven stopped working properly and then again after two years. These ranges are junk. Dont buy Whirlpool! They dont stand by the product either.

I bought a Whirlpool washing machine, model WTW4855HW, and was I ever shocked at how noisy it was. The wash cycle had a grinding noise that was just too much. After 2 loads I sent it back and didnt regret having to pay the restocking fee. I just couldnt believe that with all the technology we have today, that they couldnt build a quiet machine. Im an engineer so I know there are methods through gearing, belts, soundproofing, etc, to produce a quiet machine. Remember the dishwasher of days gone by. You couldnt watch TV with the dishwasher going. Nowadays, you can stand in the kitchen and have a nice conversation with it running. The technology exists. As a matter of a fact, my old Maytag that finally went bad after 10 years was fairly quiet. So, if you dont have your washing machine in the garage or basement room where you can close the door, dont buy this machine! Bruce in Portland

My 2-year-old Whirlpool Gold Series model replaces a 20-year-old Roper. So far it has exceeded expectations for low noise and useful features like validated Sani-Rinse. Has all the normal features plus Eco-Dry, Sani-Rinse, delayed start, five levels/cycles of cleaning, and hi-Temp wash. Fits where the old Roper used to be and handles a full load of dishes with room to spare except Thanksgiving, which takes two loads. Smooth black front with touch buttons and blue lights. Looks nice. Using Sani-Rinse seems to take a long time, generally around 3-hours for a full wash cycle. Besides being ultra-quiet, the unit is very energy efficient earning good Energy Efficiency and water efficiency ratings.

Whirlpool top loading piece of junk! I would give it a zero star review if I could! Do not buy this machine!!! I agree with many other reviews. It doesn’t get the clothes cleaned and now a completely doesn’t work. We reset it, we’ve had the service guy come in and replace a bunch of parts on it. It’s past its one year warranty and doesn’t work anymore. Piece of junk! Junk, junk, junk!!! Waste of money. Do you not buy the Whirlpool tub loading washing machine!

Oven was just about 3 years old when the oven bake feature failed the first of many times! Display says fault detected. Was able to get oven cleaning done and then it worked again but eventually has failed repeatedly since. Further reading and support from technicians has revealed its an oven control issue and replacement part is same cost as new oven! Apparently the oven control Whirlpool designed and installed cant handle heat!?? Very unreliable and would never buy their appliances again!

I have purchased a Whirlpool Washing Machine Mode W/P WM ROY 6212SD(31089) Sl.No.INF 153400517) GRAY/CHR TN 6.5 on 05.12.2015 with two years warranty on complete washing machine. The warranty period over on 04.12.2017. Exactly after over 3 months the machine start giving noise and we had been in touch Whirlpool and registered the complaint during last week of March 2018 and their local service center people visited, charged Rs.500/- service charge and informed that the machine to be taken to their service center to ascertain the complaint. After over a week informed that the machine complaints of Tub Support, Seal, Bearing, Drive etc. and the estimate is Rs.5,900/- including transportation (hardly 6 kms). The machine cost was only Rs.16,900/- then. I am surprised to know that just after 3 months of expiration of warranty the machine went wrong and the cost or repair costs me Rs.5,900/- is very huge. I hope the concerned will examine this.

My new Washing machine was to be energy efficient. Yes, It uses less water to wash a load of clothes. Problem is, it takes twice as long to wash a load of clothes as older models. If it uses twice as much electricity, In what universe can this be considered energy efficient?

The stove is only 5 years old. The oven would not ignite. The gas was getting through, but theres no flame. Sears repaired it and put a complete flame and ignitor piece at a cost for a part of $132.00. I feel the stove is too new to have to replace anything. I am retired, so I do not use the oven often. I have only cleaned the oven one time in five years. It is very clean. I picked this stove out and paid $900.00, because I liked the style and everything about it. I feel you should look into this, and I should not have to pay for repairs in such a short time of ownership. The repair person said this stove already had an upgrade in it. Please respond. Does the whole heating element need replacing or just the ignitor?

It took several delivery attempts to get a refrigerator without cosmetic flaw and it only lasted four years before Freon leak in evaporative system occurred. It would have cost more to repair than replace. Needless to say, I replaced it with another brand.

I moved into an apartment in July 2010 after closing in May 2010. My microwave by Whirlpool stopped heating a few days after the one year warranty was over. This appliance was of April 2009 series. My builder doesnt take responsibility and Whirlpool asks for huge service visits and repair costs that leaves me with no choice but to replace, and that too with the same product. This will cost me about $600-700 including installation and warranty, etc. I strongly believe that consumers should be protected against such liabilities. I have to pay for the product, the removal of the faulty one, installation of the new one plus taxes, plus transportation etc., only because Whirlpool sold it and the builder bought it (they are also hand in hand with these suppliers and dont bother after occupancy). God save us from such eventualities and undesirable expenses which hurt. No one should buy such items.

My Whirlpool Duet washer was purchased on August 2006. The first one had to be replaced as it flooded my laundry room on the first floor and the basement – not once but twice. When I was told that they would send yet another service person out to try and fix it, I told them it would be at the curb and that I was looking forward to filing a lawsuit. Then after being on hold for forever and getting the company that sold me the unit involved, they replaced the washer at no charge.From day one I hated this washer machine. If you failed to take the clothes out immediately after washing, they would get a musty type odor and I never felt the clothes got cleaned enough. Yesterday, I went to empty a load of laundry and it was soaking wet with water pooling in the bottom of the barrel. Today, I had a certified Whirlpool tech come and look at the washer and he told me to put it at the curb as the rear bearing is shot and needed to be replaced. He also told me not to buy another front loader and the cost of the repair would be approximately $800.Thank you to Whirlpool for manufacturing a true hunk of crap that, may I say, cost me $1300. I will make sure I tell everyone I know that your products are crap and I would rather wash my clothes by hand. I did call the WP customer service number and was told that this is unheard of and that these machines rarely have any problems. After just reading multiple complaints of the exact same problem, I now know that this product is inferior and the design of the bearing assembly is seriously flawed. A major recall is probably in the near future and Whirlpool is hoping that most people will just dump them before the recall is made public.

Four years ago, we remodeled our kitchen and purchased the Whirlpool Quiet Partner II dishwasher, with a one-year service warranty. To be fair, we have not had a problem with the operation of the dishwasher, but rather, the quality of the dishwasher. Within the first two years, the front panel of the dishwasher started turning brown and rusting through from the steam escaping the dishwasher. The labels on the operating buttons have peeled off, again, from the heat of the dishwasher. The upright spokes on bottom tray, that hold dishes and etc. in place, started rusting through and breaking off. Guides which allow top drawer to slide in and out and hold drawer in place, have weakened, so drawer is constantly dropping or sagging.I have had other dishwashers that have certainly lasted more than four years but was encouraged by a Home Depot salesman that this was a great machine for the price! I should have paid closer attention to that for the price part. In any event, I called Whirlpools customer service department, believing that in this day and age, SOMETHING could be done to help with these issues and was told, quite succinctly, that there was nothing Whirlpool could do. I asked about standing by the integrity of their product and got no response to that either.I am an associate with American Girl, a company that stands by the quality of its product FOR LIFE. To be told by a customer service rep from a much larger company, that there was nothing they could do to help me, completely blew me away. I have taken pictures that are pretty indicative of the quality of this dishwasher and will be going online to warn other consumers against purchasing Whirlpool products.

Purchased a double wall oven and had it for 13 months. Used it this past Christmas and for the first time used the self cleaning mode. After an hour the power went out and now the oven is dead. Whirlpool service sent me to a local repair company and they want $70 to come out and look at the oven. This seems like a huge problem based on all of the feedback on the web. This is an obvious lemon and Im going to talk all over social media about the poor quality of this product.

Our home is only 8 years old. Our neighbors and double ovens have all gone out! I mean it just quit working and the parts and repairs are crazy expensive! We have already spent $400 on a control board and now we need a control panel which is another $300! Its ridiculous spending $700 on repair of an oven that should have lasted a lot longer! Another thing is that our ovens are white and now the panels only come in black! I will never ever buy Whirlpool appliances again and I am spreading the word to everyone I know!

My 4-year old Whirlpool Cabrio (model WTW6600SW2) has gone out. It cost almost $300 just for the part to repair. It was lightly use; the average use was about three-four loads a week. Thats almost half the cost of what the whole machine will cost if new. I am irate. The customer service was no help. I will never buy another Whirlpool product again..

Have had this Whirlpool for 17 years at least. Only issue we’ve had with it was the ice maker that went out after about 14 years. There is plenty of space in the door. A place that holds cans, 2 shelves that go across the door, a small shelf and a butter shelf with a lid over it. Nice looking too.

I bought an Accubake gas range. I had Whirlpool replace the top sheet metal as it was bowed, cheap & thin. A few days later, they replaced all the brass burner orifices and it all froze and would not turn off. I had to pull the range away from the wall and turn the gas off. The bottom door to the broiler is wide open and it will not close. The stop button for the oven also does not work. This company has been selling these lousy products based on their previous good reputation.

I purchased a 30 gallon gas hot water heater from Lowes in 2013. Within the first 3 months, it went out. I contacted whirlpool who troubleshot the heater 4 different times. Final contact was in early 2014, I requested a tech to look at the heater. Was informed it is now over a year old, it would be at my cost. Replacement parts $30. Shipping the water heater is great if you like cold showers. After a little searching, I find they know this water heater is junk as does Lowes but dont care.

Whirlpool gold series refrigerator - We obtained this appliance in 2013. The ice maker stopped making ice. Later on it began to make super loud popping noises. Stops cooling, doors are rusting, drawers are broken. We do not have extra money for costly repairs. The Whirlpool brand was worth $2500 and the letdown priceless. Do your homework before purchasing a Whirlpool!!

The home I bought a few years ago, had brand new Whirlpool appliances. The oven and range, work great, although it does take my oven seems like a long time to get to temperature. The size of the oven is great, has plenty of room to cook lots and/or large amounts. The range, works really good too. Its a glass top range. The glass is very durable, I find it does not scratch easily. Cleans up well by just using a good glass top cleaner. I do have one of the burners, does make a little noise if used but 4 years in, no issues out of the range or oven.

Whirlpool WRF990SLAM00 french door refrigerator - We purchased this refrigerator in February of 2013. On Christmas Day of 2014, (not even two years later) the freezer and icemaker started malfunctioning. We spent $2000 on this fridge. Luckily we purchased the extended warranty from Lowes. However, Im so disappointed that a fridge that isnt even two years old already has an issue, plus we had to get rid of over $85 worth of spoiled food from the freezer. Credibility fail for a supposed quality product.

Whirlpool has always been the refrigerator I have had all my married life which is 48 years. Reliable and dependable they are and I never have to worry about them.

Since May 3, 2016, five servicemen have failed to repair my Whirlpool refrigerator (WRF560SEYM), which is less than 2 yrs old. One trainee from A&E Factory Service had the nerve to reinstall broken parts. I have been completely without refrigeration for the past 48 hrs only to learn that the repairman scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled because AIG warranty has not approved his visit. Further investigation reveals that the parts were never ordered, pending approval from AIG. Whirlpool cant help me because AIG has not declared the appliance unfixable. Hhgregg cannot help. I have spent countless hours on the phone on hold & wasted hundreds of dollars on spoiled food. Dont trust Whirlpool. Theyre not the company they once were. Their warranties arent worth the paper theyre printed on. Buyer beware!

I called in a claim on June 10, 2016 & my washer is still not repaired. The extended warranty company, AIG sent L&W out to repair my washer. After 3 visits its still not repaired & the technician hasnt fixed it. Not only that he had laid it on concrete & scratched the outside. This is the worst experience Ive ever had with a warranty company or service company. Aig wont even return my calls. Will never buy a Whirlpool appliance again.

We have had this water heater for less than 5 years. It was purchased new from Lowe’s. This is the second time we have had to replace the thermocouple and are told that we have to order the part from Whirlpool. Really? What do we do for hot water in the meantime? This is a very disappointing response from Whirlpool and Lowe’s. I will never again purchase anything from either company. We had to buy a new heater today, pay for installation and permits. This is a rip-off by Whirlpool and Lowe’s.

My Cabrio washer is 6 years old & has performed poorly from day 1. It does not clean properly so I have to rewash or wash clothes on a longer cycle (so much for energy efficient), it sounds like a plane taking off and has actually startled visitors, and it mysteriously forms sheets, towels & blankets in the shape of spare tire. This is the worst washer Ive ever bought.

I bought Whirlpool refrigerators around one and half year ago. After 1 year the light of refrigerator was broken. I was contacting customer service and arranged the fix. However, the contractor never showed up. After I making the call several times, I gave up finally. The repair is really bad experience!

In October of 2014 we purchased our beautiful Whirlpool WRF990slam00 refrigerator from Lowes. We were super happy to have this big beautiful piece of equipment in our kitchen. From the start it ran a little loud but we were assured that this was normal. It seemed to function pretty well until 3 days after the one year warranty ran out. First thing, opened fridge door to a waterfall. Ice machine apparently was no longer working and 2 days later the fridge and freezer both stopped working and blowing warm air.Everything in the fridge and freezer had to be thrown out. I started making calls on November 2nd to see if Whirlpool would stand behind their $2,000 product and make good on repairs. It is now December 17th and we are still without a fridge. Not sure right now what is happening and I am afraid to call as I am sick to death of the whole thing. All I want is a fridge that works! Not too much to ask after spending $2,000. I am saving you the gory details as it would take me 10 pages but I have made SEVERAL calls. I hope to have Whirlpool step up and do the right thing but, I am not going to hold my breath.

Does not get clothes clean. Period!! Takes just over 1hr. Noisy, lasted 3 1/2 years, transmission broke, take the warranty with a washer/dryer. Whirlpool was the top of the line, front loaders give less trouble, agitators clean better, go for the cheaper versions, our loaner Whirlpool, WTW4850H or WTW4950H washes quicker and cleaner than the Cabrio Energy Star.

We purchased a Whirlpool water heater at Lowes for $1100.00. Four years later it isnt working. There are no parts to fix it available at any store in Dallas, TX. We had to call the company. They made us pay the overnight shipping fee for the part. Then the part didnt show up. When we called to find out why isnt the part at my house, they said they found out FedEx doesnt deliver on Saturdays. No one ever called to notify us of this, instead the response was that they would use it as a coaching lesson for not notify the customer. We have now been without hot water in the middle of winter for 5 days. We have no idea when the part will arrive and if it will even fix my defective water heater. We will never buy another Whirlpool product and I strongly encourage anyone who reads this to not buy Whirlpool. They dont stand by their product and have horrible customer service.

I bought a Whirlpool fridge 4/23/2013. Thanksgiving it went out. I had a repair company come look at it to see how much it would be to repair. He said the compressor was out, it has a freon leak, and the electric board has a relay that is acting up. Basically it would cost $600 or more to fix. I only paid $750, mind you. Whirlpool customer service said if we pay to have it fixed then send them the paid receipt. They would then give me a 6 month service plan for future repairs if needed. Please tell me how that helps me now? A voucher for $200 or offer something to help me now. Not a happy customer. Thanks for nothing Whirlpool.

I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator in 2007 from a recommendation from my repairman. He told me that most refrigerators last about five years. I cant believe after five years I will have to buy another refrigerator. I know someone that has a refrigerator that is 50 years old. Cant any refrigerator makers make any appliances that last? With all the technology we have nowadays, it seems like you could. You just want the public to spend more money on repairs or a appliances. Hope you buy the product you sell! I replaced a 15 -year-old propane water heater with an electric on 02/01/14, due to the high propane prices, $6 a gallon, and because I felt the heater should be replaced. After installing the electric water heater I filled with water purged all the air out, powered it up, went thru diagnostics and heated water to 120. After an hour I turned on the hot water at the kitchen faucet, hot water was there but not for long, water got cold,.I troubleshot the problem back to the anti-scald valve installed 15 years ago when I had a professional install the first tank. By placing my hand on the hot water line coming out of the tank, I found the water was indeed hot before the anti-scald valve, after the valve the water was cold indicating to me the valve was not functioning properly. I went to Lowes bought the parts to bypass and removed the valve, went home and in another hour had the problem solved! I wondered why I had to turn the temp upon the old heater to get hot water! I am very happy with my electric water heater, not only did Lowes have the last one in stock, it was on sale $100 off regular price, it is a digital controller type with water temperature setting on the front. I checked the temp at the water faucet in the kitchen. I had it set to 120, the water temp out was 119.8 on my digital thermometer. Water was too hot so I lowered it to 110, perfect temp for a hot shower. Even if the thing uses more electric than it should I still save because the fact of propane is so high I couldnt see spending $600 for 28 days of propane, versus $400 on a new electric water heater. I would rather pay a higher electric bill than feel I am getting ripped off with the propane dealers! Also there is absolutely no residual heat loss. This is well insulated even comes with pipe insulation!

Cabrio (h2low system) top load washer ..USA 120 volt - A true piece of crap... Bought 2010... Even when it does work, 5% of any load will NOT spin out... The damn thing will refill its tub with rinse water to redistribute load so as to get a spin out. SOMETIME month ago, thing just dies... nothing. Technician comes out for two hours its the shift sensor. Replace for 200+ bucks... done. Works for three weeks, dies, tech is back. 4 hrs... its a bad processor board. Ordered 140$ rebuild, comes in mail few days later. Tech is back, replaces board. We have smoke!! Looks like a bad motor part. I could go on... but why. Never ever buy one of these sorry pieces of dreck. Absolutely the worst. Poor quality even when it works. Horrible wash quality. Never again Cabrio. Remember it.

Whirlpool cabrio top loader is junk from the first month. My washer has had way too many repairs. A&E repair has been a frequent at my home. Now Im getting ready to repair it again! Hub gasket or pump not sure this time. All has been replaced previously. Never ending - always something wrong with it!!!

This microwave usually has great reviews but I think I just got a dud. I purchased this model (WMH53520CS-0) as part of my new home build. After 9 months the door sensor broke and anytime we would go to run the microwave, it would tell you to open/close the door. Whirlpool sent out a certified factory dealer to fix the problem. They found it to be a faulty control panel and replaced it. After that was replaced, the exhaust fan broke. Whirlpool sent out that dealer again with the new part, and everything was working perfectly. Flash forward a whole 24 hours later, and the microwave would make the loudest sound ever and shut off after 3 seconds and blow the fuse. Turns out the turntable motor had broke and the NEW control panel was already faulty.The turntable motor part was on back order for a month and I am still currently waiting for it to be shipped to me while I have a microwave shut off collecting dust. As most anyone would be, I was extremely frustrated knowing that Whirlpool has spent at least 4 times more sending out certified dealers and replacing parts, than if they were to just order me a new microwave. They stood firm on their policy even if it meant a customer without a working microwave for over a month. Whirlpool did offer me a nice $75 debit card that took 4 weeks to arrive to help pay for a temporary microwave, but they would not work with me when I asked for the warranty to be extended 3 or 6 months. I wanted that peace of mind and its frustrating that for 2 of my 12 month warranty, the microwave was completely broken.Overall, its a nice microwave when its working but with all I have had to go through, I wouldnt recommend this model nor any Whirlpool appliances...

I bought refrigerator in Feb 2017. Within 18 months internal surface got crack, contacted customer care but I would say Whirlpool India customer care department is worst across world, no courtesy towards customers, contacted them over phone very bad attitude, no response on email. Product quality is worst, its better to buy Indian brands. They are much better in quality & service. Totally dissatisfied with Whirlpool approach, at the end Whirlpool customer care is not at all bothered.

I’ve found many years of flawless performance from many Whirlpool Appliances! Once they are 20+ yrs old, I tolerate their aging and repair issues if they occur. My current microwave oven is 10 years old and was removed for a kitchen remodel, replaced after remodel and hasn’t skipped a beat!

My husband purchases Whirlpool washer years ago. Started acting up after 18 months. Wont spin, stays locked, clothes are soaking wet. Used troubleshooting website. Spent over $200.00 in repairs... including new board. Still doesnt work properly. Whirlpool customer service recommended buying a extended contract for over $300.00. I could have bought a $900.00 Maytag by now. Total disgusted with machine and customer service. Will never buy Whirlpool again and have told everyone by word of mouth and on facebook about this situation. DO NOT BUY WHIRLPOOL!

Pros: The refrigerator is large and roomy, easily adjustable glass shelving, and easy temperature controls for the refrigerator temperature and freezer temperature. Cons: the refrigerator is bulky and limits space in a small kitchen. The lower freezer door does not seal very well and requires frequent tweaking and adjusting around the door seal. Also, the freezer handle becomes loose easily and requires tightening fairly often -- which is a pain to get on the floor on your back (and a flashlight plus a special wrench) to tighten the handle.

Our home came with an Asko dishwasher, theoretically a premium device though the experience was not the best. Anyways, had to replace it after a few years and decided to buy a Whirlpool under the assumption that if an Asko kind of sucks, being so expensive, it was not worth the money to spend big bucks on an expensive dishwasher. I could not have been more wrong! Bought a middle of the pack Whirlpool, I think we spend around $500. Complete junk. I had to use our Sears home warranty like 6 times. They replaced two times the computer board, all the sensors another couple of times, motor, you name it! Worst part is that all of the non essentials part that also broke off (wheels, and plastic pieces of the door) were not covered by Sears warranty so I had to end up using glue and all kind of contraptions to keep them together. Finally, when we decided to put our house in the market we replaced this junk with a Bosch. So far so good. Whirlpool actually never even washed properly, now with the Bosch we finally know what it means to have a dishwasher that really washes for real!

I am very disappointed in my purchase of Whirlpool High-Efficiency washer and dryer. It does not clean my clothes! I have white towels in my bathrooms, I have them for years. They have always come out perfectly white with the regular washer I had for years. Not any more! They now come out with yellow spots all over them. Dark clothes come out with a white residue on them that looks like there has been a napkin in the wash. I talked to Sears where I purchased it, they said I might be using too much detergent, so I have tried using less to no avail! I hate my washer!

Whirlpool provides free replacement parts to repair this design problem but wont pay the service charges to repair their design problem. I purchased a KitchenAid french door style refrigerator (KBFS25EWMS10, SN K31902118) and it leaks water on the kitchen floor. At first I just mopped it up but later discovered they have a design problem in their drain system and water backs up into the freezer dept and eventually on to the floor. Customer Service provides free improved replacement parts for this design problem but wont pay the service charges to have the parts replaced. Simply put, Whirlpool/KitchenAid do not stand behind their product quality, instead they pass the problem and service charge cost for their design problem on to the consumer. Beware of this appliance supplier!

The Cabrio washing machine I was told by salesman best made so I spent big $$, makes sense right?! Wrong! During spin cycles sounds like jet plane taking off, was told barrings or drive shaft is at fault cause water seeping inside, causing rust, Whirlpool didn’t seal it or designed it to ensure no seepage. I had purchased a washing machine trough CSD canteen and go for AMC for five years on September 25, 2006. In September 2010, I lodged a complaint and the Engineer visited and asked for a replacement of the bottom cover. I said okay, but later on he told me that I have to replace the complete outer cover. I agreed and asked them to replace it. The cost is fixed for 2,500Rs. They replaced the cover but did not replace the bottom cover.I talked to the agency and they agreed to hold to 1,000Rs for the bottom cover and I paid to them 1,500Rs. Later they brought an old cover and I refused to replace that. They told that the bottom cover is not available. Then they never tried to replace the bottom cover. I arranged for the same from the local marketing for 600Rs and replaced it. I paid the service charge for the engineer.Later, I lodged a complaint that the machine was not drying the cloth. The engineer visited and told me that the belt will be replaced on payment. I agreed and he told me that I will visit the next day and replaced the belt. But he did not come until it was late.On September 18, 2011, with number DL0911018283, my machine was not switching on and I lodged a complaint to customer care. But no engineer visited me. Then I regularly complained but there was no response from the agency. On September 23, I talked to customer care, Mr. **, that I am going out of station and I lodged a complaint from the last five days that no engineer visited me. My AMC is expiring on September 25, 2011. I will come back on October and then send the engineer. On October 9, I reminded them that they refresh my complaint with number DL1011007031. The engineer visited and told me that the PCB of the machine is faulty and I have to pay 3,500Rs.I told him that I complained for this problem during the AMC period, hence they are supposed to repair my machine free of cost but he refused. I talked to customer care and tried to resolve the issue but I was not successful. Then I talked to Mr. **, the head of Customer care in Delhi, on October 12. He promised to resolve the issue but no engineer visited me and my machine is still defective. On October 13, I tried to contact Mr. ** several times but he or his PA is not picking up the phone. Now, how will I get to repair my machine?

Brand new Whirlpool dishwasher from PC Richards. Model #WDT710PAYB2. Dont buy one of these! In the store, I was turned off by the panel being on top of the door and not visible when the door is closed. I dont understand why anyone would not want to see the cycles and operation but my husband insisted that was a good thing so I agreed to purchase. Well, its horrible! I pressed the panel buttons the first time I tried to use it, and the panel switch is erratic and all over the place. For example, if I press Normal, the Heavy cycle button light goes on. When I hit start, all the button lights shut off. I finally get all the lights to stay on and hit start (after about 10 tries) and when I shut the door, the start button blinks and beeps! The dishwasher does not start. After many attempts, I got it to run, miraculously, for about 10 minutes. It emptied the detergent dispenser and left everything inside wet and slimy. Nice. I cant believe Whirlpool would sell such an inferior product. I have always been a loyal Whirlpool customer, but after this experience, I think its time to switch appliance brands. Now I have to be inconvenienced without a dishwasher after spending over $500 and wait for a repairman. Thanks, Whirlpool!

Purchased a house and old owners left an almost new one with house. Thing does not clean even minor soiled cloths. Plan on buying new machine directly and it will not be a GE or Whirlpool. I can see why they were willing to leave the new washer. I left a 15-year old Maytag at my old residence (wish I had it back).

I have had my stove for 3 years and it works fine. However since I have become a grandparent, I have been extremely worried about the chance of being burnt. the problem is once you turn off the burner, it doesnt look any different than it does when not in use. It stays hot for a very long time however. Hot enough to burn or melt anything. There is no blocking a child from reaching up and touching it. I have placed a loaf of bread near it only to have it melt down the side. The burner didnt look hot at all. This was at least 15 min. after turning off the burner. Im not trying to cause issues but I believe this is a real danger, not only at the risk of someone getting a burn but also to the point of an entire family losing their home or even their lives. A simple flammable item being knocked over could start a fire. I ask that someone look into these risk.

Ive had this refrigerator at an upscale rent house for 2.5 years. I have invested over $1,000 in repairs, all of which happened after the one year warranty was up. Now I have to replace it completely because it makes a loud noise that my tenants cant stand. Dont buy this unit.

The door can be slightly open on the model GSC25C4EYY02, and the alarm will not register. Ive come home on too many occasions to find the food no longer at a desirable temperature. Im very bummed about this refrigerator choice. The refrigerator door open alarm is useless.

I just want to say that this washer is indeed a colossal waste of money. I bought an HE machine thinking Id be environmentally responsible, but the amount of times I have to re-rinse clothes negates that. Whats worse is that clothes come out dirtier than when they go in. Thats right--just put a brand new set of sheets in the washer and when they came out, there were dissolved detergent marks and gray, linty patches all over them (this using warm water and a soft gel detergent)--resembling dirt you might get from hanging clothes on a mildew clothes line. I cant tell you how many times I need to re-run the drain and spin cycle. This wastes time, water and quality of life. Id try to re-sell it on Craigslist but wouldnt want to subject anyone else to it--not fair even at $100!Updated on 02/23/2015I wrote a review in September 2014 on the Whirlpool cabrio model WTW5600XWO. To update the community on my recent customer service experience with Whirlpool: I wrote them a letter a few weeks ago stating that I dont expect them to follow up but wanted to let them know I would be buying Bosh products from now on and reiterating my anger at needing to miracle brush any dark piece of clothing after it goes through the cabrio. My letter specifically said I did not expect customer resolution but wanted to express what a rotten product they produced and marketed. They called back leaving a message to the effect: We apologize want to help you but need to speak in person. Please call [toll free number] and have your make and serial numbers available. I called back, and after waiting on hold for 10 mins., the rep took my model and serial numbers, said, Oh I see your letter. Please give me a moment to review it. Then I was told there was nothing she could do. I do apologize for your frustration. I couldnt BELIEVE they would bother contacting me only to make me go through that charade-- They are PATHETIC! I say boycott the company! Well, I certainly will.

We purchased our Whirlpool Front Loading HE Washing Machine a year and ten months ago from Future Shop, and now it has failed. After paying about $100 for a service call, we were told we need to order a motor control board that will cost an additional $397 plus tax, plus installation. Because it is off warranty, this means my $1030 washing machine that is less than two years old will cost me about $680 to repair! My parents old top loading washing machine still works after 30 years. And now I notice that so many other people have had the exact same problem. Why hasnt Whirlpool fixed this issue? This is criminal! What on earth is going on here? I was under the impression that Whirlpool was a top-notch brand.

I have front loader, Ive left the door open after washes, run cleaning cycle once a month, never had any issues, like with anything. If you take care and service it regularly it will last a lifetime.

I purchased the washer and dryer set. My complaint is with the washing machine top loader that does not have the tall agitator not getting the clothing clean. All of my clothing come out of the dryer with dirty spots on them where they did not come out in the wash. Its a waste of water and energy because I have to wash them twice! I purchased the combo model numbers WED7300DWO and WTW7300DW0.

We bought a gas Whirlpool Stove from Lowes. We noticed it was not heating like our last stove and thought maybe because it was new. No the stove does not heat properly at all. I cooked a pork loin for 40 minutes at 350 and it was still raw in the middle. I have had to cook everything on 375 which makes the door handles and knobs very hot. I called Lowes and they patched me into Whirlpool after a 45 minute wait. The rep from Whirlpool said, you can look at the manual and figure out how to calibrate it. No I cant. I have a warranty that is what it is suppose to cover. Then I was on hold for another 20 minutes. Really no one should tell you to read a manual to fix a gas stove. I will not buy another Whirlpool item. Poor customer service and that make you feel you are bothering them.

Havent even had the Cabrio washer for three years & Ive hated it since day one!!! First, our clothes dont come out clean OR come out with white streaks (changed soap, still happened!). Washing bedding is a nightmare! They are sopping wet & I have to wring it out. Finally broke down today & the repairman quoted over $600 to fix (paid $800). Take this piece of junk away!!! It cost me less to replace than get fixed; way to help the environment!

Do not waste your valuable dollars on this refrigerator. Not even 5 years old and have had nothing but issues with this fridge. The ice maker quit a few months ago, started leaking water from somewhere behind the wall panels and now the freezer door is frozen shut and the refrigerator section is warmer than the outside air. Did I mention that this refrigerator isnt even 5 years old yet? A piece of junk is a piece of junk and this fridge is a piece of junk!!!

Have used washer since 2005. Still runs today. Minor repairs done. Is reliable brand. Whirlpool gold model washer purchased at navy exchange. Will buy another whirlpool again. Have bought other brands which lasted 7yrs and then needed replacing. This whirlpool is the best. Lasted 15 yrs and still working fine doing 5 loads a week.

Whirlpool makes a beautiful product that does not last. I bought model WRX988SIBM in April 2015. Two years later the compressor is bad and no warranty coverage. Do not buy this model. It does not carry the Whirlpool 2-5 year sealed refrigeration warranty. Its amazing that an appliance that retails over $3K only comes with a 1 year sealed refrigeration warranty when Whirlpool offers it on other models. Be sure you know what your warranty coverage is before you buy any Whirlpool product.

I purchased this washer (Whirlpool Cabrio Model #WTW8000DW) 10-25-17 from Best Buy & now it has no power to the panel at all. The power to the outlet is fine which I can plug a hair dryer in & the hair dryer works. Tried all the reset buttons & options with nothing on the panel working as well as unplugging. Still nothing. It is barely 4 months old & I am very dissatisfied for the amount of money I paid for a high efficiency top loading washer.

I purchased a Whirlpool dryer Cabrio (model # WED7300XWO and serial # M03028918), which has had several issues. We had to replace the felt around the dryer tube twice, replaced the dryer tub itself twice, we had the air flow stop, and now the heat has stopped. Thank goodness I purchased an extended warranty, otherwise who knows what these repairs would have cost. I think I got a lemon. I have had multiple repairs, and days of not being able to use our dryer.

I purchased my Whirlpool refrigerator from Whirlpool guest system (online) in 2010 for around $1,160. Recently, it stopped dispensing water from the dispenser. I called the Whirlpool certified A&E serviceman to repair the dispenser. He concluded that the water line is frozen inside the door. He also stated that such issues with the door shouldnt happen for at least 10 years. He gave me a bill of $920 to replace the door. I called Whirlpool and they declined to pay for the repair as it is out of warranty. I feel that they sold me a faulty refrigerator and they should pay for this expensive repair. With $920, I can probably pay for a new refrigerator (not Whirlpool, of course). I am completely disappointed by Whirlpools customer service and poor quality of their product. This company, I believe, is more interested in selling crappy products, make profit and not provide good customer service. Shame on you!
