Whirlpool Refrigerator WRF736sdam13. Purchased from Lowe’s June 2015... freezing started in April 2019. Freezer bottom is not draining correctly and the bottom keeps freezing making it difficult to push door close. I have the extended warranty. This will be the 5th time on Monday, July 29 repair person will come out.I talked to Whirlpool and Lowe’s. The product cannot be considered a lemon because the problem continues to be “fixable” as stated from answering service when I reported the problem again. Customer service has been amazing up to this point. Anyone else have an issue with this model with the bottom freezing solid? Any suggestions?

We had the same thing happen. We purchased a brand new home and within 6mo the plastic around the handle started breaking off and pieces would fall into any food that was being cooked on the stove. Whirlpool fixed it for free but now the same thing is happening with the new door.

Its just okay. It doesnt clean as well as I expected to regardless of which dishwasher cleaning brand or type I use. It frequently leaves full residue even if the dishes have been pre-soaked. Even though I have it set to see to it, I feel it leaves too much water on the dishes. It doesnt have a rinse and hold setting. This dishwasher doesnt have any extraordinary features. It just has the features you would expect to find on any dishwasher. The size is average but it handles the amount of dishes I have as a one-person household. Its unobtrusive; nothing sticks out, there is no faux metal on it. Those are all features I like. Its not as quiet as it makes itself out to be. On the whole, I feel this is a very average dishwasher.

My range is 2 years old. I would never recommend this range. The AquaLift clean is worthless. Can not get the grease splatters off. If I could afford a new one I would get rid of this range. The AquaLift clean feature is only good for small messes on the bottom.

I have always liked Whirlpool products but it seems lately they are lagging in this department. My washer/dryer combo each separate I dont feel are doing the job they should be. Washer is the bigger problem. Softner dispenser not distributing the softner correctly and now I have to clean out after each use. These are about 10 years old now. Is not spinning all the water out and not at all sure if clothes are getting clean. Most of their products usually lasted much longer back a few years.

When you buy a global brand name you expect it to work the first time around. If not, then you expect to have it exchanged not repaired. The microwave did not work out of the box. They made me take it to the shop for repair. I would have expected an exchange for another one and an apology from the quality control guy who should have checked it. Apparently Whirlpool (Mexico) doesnt give a rats ass about their customer base. Its all about getting as many units out the door with poor assembly and no QC.

We purchased a Whirlpool water heater at Lowes for $1100.00. Four years later it isnt working. There are no parts to fix it available at any store in Dallas, TX. We had to call the company. They made us pay the overnight shipping fee for the part. Then the part didnt show up. When we called to find out why isnt the part at my house, they said they found out FedEx doesnt deliver on Saturdays. No one ever called to notify us of this, instead the response was that they would use it as a coaching lesson for not notify the customer. We have now been without hot water in the middle of winter for 5 days. We have no idea when the part will arrive and if it will even fix my defective water heater. We will never buy another Whirlpool product and I strongly encourage anyone who reads this to not buy Whirlpool. They dont stand by their product and have horrible customer service.

I bought a whirlpool washer from Whirlpool on February 27, 2011. Since then, they have come out and repaired the washer for 5 times. They have even taken the whole motor out, and replaced it. The last time they came, they said I would have to pay for the next time. Now, it has broken again, and I have to pay for a washer repair that is less than a year old. We bought the Whirlpool washer at Sears, and neither Sears, nor Whirlpool will stick by their product. We cannot afford another new washer, and to pay for repairs is a stretch too. Is there anything you can do?

We purchased our first Whirlpool product, a washer, model WTW4800XQ 2 years ago. Started having problems with the clothes dripping wet after the wash cycle. Turns out the 2 year old washer needs a shift actuator and a wire harness that will cost close to $400 and take a week to obtain! I have had Kenmore appliances for the past 35 years. Ive never been disappointed it their performance or longevity. Each appliance lasting 15+ years and in the case of my fridge, it lasted 30 years! I am very disappointed in Whirlpool and WILL NEVER purchase another whirlpool product.

I am on my 3rd refrigerator from Whirlpool. The first one lasted 8 years, the second one lasted 6 years, and now the 3rd one has only lasted 4 years. This is just too much money to pay for a supposedly nice quality product and it go out as the warranty goes out. The second we had to replace the icemaker 3 times and a compressor. Now the 3rd is not cooling.

We bought our Terrorpool Whirlpool refrigerator in 2006. We have had problems with the ice dispenser, bad motor replacement, and now we have cracks all down the right inside wall. I had bought an extended warranty of four years at the time of purchase which covered the cost of the previous problems. But it has now expired, and I was told it would be my expense for repair. What happened to reliable appliances that our parents and grandparents had? What happened to the name Whirlpool? I will never buy a Whirlpool product again, not to mention the customer service (which I wont mention). I purchased this washer about a year ago and have been dissatisfied with its performance since Day One. It takes a long time to run a cycle and has not saved me any water or electricity. I always have to add a second rinse because it doesnt get the soap out (using the recommended detergent) with the regular cycles. Sometimes it doesnt get my clothes clean.Today it tore huge holes in the front and back of one of my very favorite T-shirts, which was a very meaningful gift from a very good friend. This was due to its tangling the clothes even more tightly than it usually does; the tangling process was what tore the material. I always take pains to load the machine in the manner instructed, to put the clothes in loose balls around the outside of the drum, but nevertheless it can take me several minutes to untangle my laundry before I put it in the dryer (also a Whirlpool -- just waiting to see how it disappoints). If I had read the reviews here before I selected my new machines, I would never have purchased the Whirlpool washer or dryer. I certainly never will purchase Whirlpool machines again.

This washer started out to be good. Its only 5 yrs old. We began to smell an odor. Went to Lowes, spoke with someone in appliance dept. Purchased something for washer. DID NOT WORK. We have tried bleach everything. Our clothes smell. I have skin rashes and I think it is related to mold and mildew. Called the service center. They said could be a sock stuck around the tub area. They need to recall this washer. We spent a lot of money and it has ruined everything. Cannot get the odor out. We cannot afford another one. There is black mold around the rubber lining when you open up the door.

I have had a lot of washing machines in my life and trusted that Whirlpool would have good products. Well, with this top-loader, I couldnt be more wrong! I have never had a machine that just sloshes clothes around - at best - leaving them just as dirty! Our water bill has greatly increased on top of that - I AM SO VERY DISAPPOINTED! Unfortunately I cant return the bad merchandise since I bought at a Scratch and Dent store (just a dent on the outside does not interfere with performance...).

The first washing machine I bought was a Cabrio. Started having problems right off. After the repair people had been there several times we finally got Whirlpool to replace the machine. We got another washing machine. We bought two warranties because it kept tearing up. Repair people said this time it would take $1500 to fix it so of course AIG said, We will not pay this much. So I have a washing machine I have spent $1600 on and it leaves, greasy spots all over my clothes. So fed up with Whirlpools trash!!

I purchased a top load Whirlpool Washer and Dryer in April 2021. When it was installed I commented about how noisy it was. I was told it was because it was empty, but it will be much quieter once you put in a load of laundry. That did not make any difference. I called Whirlpool customer service and explained I had just purchased it less than a week ago and it appeared to be very noisy. I was told they could send someone out, but if they determined there was not a problem I would be charged a service call. I said the machine is not even a week old why would I be charged a service call shouldnt this be a warranty issue. Again I was told there would be a service call charge.I am completely baffled at the customer service response. This is the first and only time I called. I contacted the store where I purchased both the washer and dryer and was told it should not be that loud, this is the first time anyone has complained about the noise level and there should not be charge. Whirlpool has terrible customer service and I will NEVER purchase another Whirlpool product again because of the customer service. I have purchased numerous appliances in my lifetime and have never been treated so poorly. If I could return both the washer and dryer I would not hesitate. I would not recommend Whirlpool to anyone.

I bought a Cabrio set in June 2007. Within two years, I had to have the barrings replaced ($800 job). Now, its two years later and Im getting a F50 code. The repairman put in a new part, still got the same code and left. I am out $970. I am a disabled vet/single parent and now I have to buy a new washer. Who is going to start the class action suit against Whirlpool?

I had a Whirlpool washer that was 31 years old so when the motor went out I bought a Whilpool Cabrio. I HATE it!!! First, it takes at least an hour for 1 small load to finish. Then the clothes are not even clean and rinsed all the way. Dry patches on clothes and where the soap did reach the clothes there is white soap scum all over. I tried using the extra rinse function and still soap everywhere. Im hardly using any soap to begin with. I have to wash some things twice to get the soap off. Thought I was doing good by buying HE. What a waste of money. I cant wait til it breaks which should be soon according to all the previous comments. I have only had it 4 weeks. Dont buy this machine!

I had this same refrigerator in another home and had no issues, this particular one now I have nothing but issues with it. It seems that the quality is not consistent. First the ice maker was not working, then the freezer light burned out and now there is extensive frost build up in the freezer. The refrigerator is only 2 years old!

So far this washing machine has been perfect. Its a top load not front load which I prefer. Im not a big fan of how it locks and I cant throw other stuff in once it started. Other than that Im very satisfied.

When purchasing a new home, the almost new Whirlpool double-door ice-dispensing stainless steel refrigerator came with the kitchen. This beautiful-looking fridge worked well for close to three years, but gave up the ghost shortly after its warranty expired; designed obsolescence perhaps? Problem was, it would have cost almost as much to repair as it would have to purchase a new fridge with a warranty. So, thats what I did, via a local big-box store. I bought a single door floor model, with the Whirlpool ending up as scrap, the whole incident leaving a bad taste in my mouth. If you have your grandmothers old fridge that still runs, keep it!

I have a Whirlpool Gold convection self clean oven. I have now purchased the fourth fuse in the past four years, which is the last time. I will never buy Whirlpool products again. The only fix is to order fuse before cleaning oven.

I purchased this refrigerator, approximately 3 yrs. ago. Right away the top crisper broke. I have put up with this broken crisper only to have broken the PLASTIC lips that hold the crisper to the top shelf. Piece of junk. I looked to order a new crisper but way to expensive so I just suffered thru. I cant even use it anymore as I cannot open or close it without it falling onto the bottom crisper. Would like to throw the thing out, but cannot afford another one. IT WILL NOT BE A WHIRLPOOL!!!

We have had this dishwasher since 1983 and we still run it on an average of 6 days a week. Features are the fact that it has given all of our dishes, our silverware, our pots and pans sparkling clean looks for all those years. It fits nicely into the kitchen space which was designed for a dishwasher. It never needed a repair. After all those years, this machine still looks fine. After all those years I really doubt if it still has a warranty and it never needed service.

I bought a Cabrio washer in 2009. I started receiving the infamous F51 code. When I called Whirlpool, they refused to even acknowledge that there is a problem with this washer. When I brought up the pages and pages of complaints about it, they acted like they did not exist. I hope this review will deter people from purchasing one of these faulty products!

I have a home that was new 5 years ago. My microwave/oven Whirlpool Gold was built in March 2005. The light bulb went out in the microwave 3 days ago. The users guide that comes with the unit says for this call assistance. I called the local appliance co. Cost to replace the bulb is $10 parts, $65 service call $25 labor thats $100 plus tax for a $.10 bulb! I called Whirlpool. What a joke, the biggest bunch of puppets paid by a Michigan based company who never heard of what happened in Detroit! They were no help and understood my frustration but flat did not give a **! For a $.10 part Whirlpool is willing to get bad press worth whatever I can amass!

I purchased a Cabrio high efficiency washer in 2011 and have had the glass top lid crack twice. The hinge is rusted, shedding rust all over the corner of the washer. It is a design flaw, for I see others have had the same problem with this particular year. I have also looked at the newer versions of the Cabrio and the lids have been redesigned. This lid should be recalled and replaced with a newer version, because this lid will always rust and crack with use.

We purchased our suite of appliances from Home Depot, this was a great experience. Unfortunately that is were it stopped. Our 1st refrigerator caught on fire in the electrical within the unit. We got a 2nd refrigerator sent to us and it came damaged. Then they sent us a 3rd refrigerator and it caught on fire in the electrical as well. Weve been dealing with this all since August 27th 2019 and here its now October 14th 2019. At this point I feel this model of Whirlpool is truly unsafe.

My Whirlpool stove works really well, and it is self cleaning. I have had my present oven/stove combo now for 5 years and had not had one single mishap at all. I am so confident that you will like it I am personally recommending it. It bakes beautifully and if there is a spill or overflow in the oven I just press a button & it cleans itself!

I called and emailed Whirlpool because the water dispenser drips all over the front of the fridge and floor. They had the nerve to tell me to use a cup for the problem and there was nothing they could do. They were no help with this problem.

I apparently am one of the lucky ones to have an electric water heater. My unit started giving me failure codes during the Christmas holidays. Each time it would fail, I would get a different failure code indicating the upper element, the lower element, and a sensor failure. After testing all 3 of these components, it was determined to be a controller issue. After speaking with Chris on the phone, he overnighted a new controller to me. I installed the new controller and had no more failures. Hot showers for New Years! Thank you Chris.

We purchased a Whirlpool front loading washer about three years ago. During our first year the machine worked OK, but three months after warranty expiration (12 month warranty), the sensors seems to go wonky and it no longer worked (at 15 months of age). We paid about $95 in the Minneapolis area for a service call. The repairman had to call Whirlpool from our home to inquire about the sequence of flashing lights on the sensor. After getting off the phone he told us he thought he knew the problem, but could not guarantee that the $200+ part he suggested ordering would solve the problem. The installation would require additional labor charges, of course. I reported the incident to the manager of the repair service and was told the repairman was expert in Whirlpools but this did not further inspire confidence. We were not willing to sink this amount into the machine, so ditched it and bought a top-loading inexpensive Roeper. The top-loading machine definitely appears harder on the clothes than the front loading Whirlpool, but it gets the clothes cleaner and has been problem-free so far.

Do not buy a Whirlpool refrigerator. Worst product ever. Literally broke within 3 months. Needs a new compressor and evaporator. They will not exchange the product and the parts are on back order for 3 more weeks.

I was pleased with the look and performance on my dishwasher. It did sometimes leave some food particles, but, overall it did a good job. I really dont remember the model since it has been a few years since I had it.

I recently purchased a Whirlpool over the range microwave. I especially appreciate the unit's strong exhaust fan. My previous microwave's exhaust fan was much less powerful. The unit's black glass and chrome trim look great! I am extremely pleased with the new microwave.

We purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator (Model WRB322DMBM00) in April of 2015 from Lowes. Within 5 months rust stains started to form at the bottom of the top door and the top of bottom drawer. RUST STAINS!!! We do not live in a humid area or near the ocean. It is a design flaw I believe in the gaskets. I called Lowes first for their guarantee but they said it was cosmetic and not covered. Then I call WP customer service and they are sending new doors. Thats fine but its going to happen again. I requested slate instead of stainless steel but they wouldnt do it. Plus finger proof is a joke (monochromatic). Very dissatisfied customer.

I have owned Craftmaster 30-gallon hot water heater and the only things reliable about it is trouble and aggravation. I purchased this in 2004. I have had to replace the controls, valves, wires, etc. three times in 10 years. And Im now looking at doing it a fourth time. The design of these parts are utter crap! Cheap plastic! After replacing these parts, this hot water heater works great for a few years, then invariably starts acting up. The pilot light goes out when the heater is supposed to kick on instead. Getting the pilot light lit again, is an exercise in futility! The red reset button once released, immediately extinguishes the ignition flame. Supposedly, after holding it down for 1-2 minutes allowing gas to build up, it should light the coils... and if it doesnt, youre supposed to wait 10 minutes to try relighting again. You can repeat this process for 12 hours, and if you finally do get this temperamental piece of junk to light, youre lucky. Customer Service has been useless in assistance. All they want to do is send you e-mail, and get you off the phone. Not to mention, Ive been told by many a rep that the hot water heater extinguishes itself, if water is overheated, and that it must be my fault for setting the temp too hot. Baloney... Ive been told that the underside vent must be cleaned every few months, so that air flow is accurate. Makes no difference one way or the other. And recently, Ive been told by a rep, that my 40-yr-old house likely doesnt vent exhaust out through the roof properly. This product is inferior and unpredictable. Its great when it works, and the pilot light stays lit. God forbid it ever goes out though! It is next to impossible to relight. I have spent more money on service technicians attempting to repair/replace parts, than it would have cost to simply by a new hot water heater. I miss the old days, when it was easy to light a hot water heater: Strike a match, turn the gas on, and instant hot water. No muss, no fuss. Having owned many properties w/ hot water heaters over the years, I have never encountered such repeat problems, as with this product. Its simply not reliable, and not worth the $$$. Never again, will I buy a Craftmaster Product. And I had no clue that there was a Class Action Suit filed, and a settlement involved in these faulty units. Whirlpool/Craftmaster should have notified everyone, who purchased one of their units. Now Im stuck w/ a constantly broken unit, and zero recourse. I will never buy anything Whirlpool/Craftmaster again, as a result.

In addition to that I find the HE rating a joke as it takes 2+ hours to run a load of whites despite it saying on the read out that it will be 1 hour and 4 minutes, it literally tears up my clothes. I have now gone through 3 sets of sheets, 4 towels, 5 baby onesies... How can a washer that doesnt have an agitator cause holes and shredding in a garment? I honestly dont know what to do anymore. It takes two days to do the wash for 2 people when I could get it done in hours with my old machine. And to think I spent close to $900 on this washer makes me sick! I want to go back to my old agitator type washer from Maytag!

I purchased a new home 1 year ago, our home came with Whirlpool Appliances. I was so excited because we were renter. The refrigerators after a year all of the LED lights have gone out, and the refrigerator make a very loud noise. I have called customers service several times. Their respond is, Sorry. It only has a 1 year warranty. The cost of the light would be over $500.00 dollar and that dont included labor. Dont even know the cost of fixing the loud noise. I just want people to be aware of Whirlpool appliances. After only 1 year of service it not going to work. Whirlpool will not fixed them. It sad we work hard to get a home and how will have to spend a fortune to get them fixed. Whirlpool you need to make better equipment. With is coming without home we were not giving an opportunity to buy an extended warranty.

We had the Whirlpool electric range delivered yesterday. The clock light is too bright! Keeps the house lit all night! Do I really need to pay the cost of burning this? Additionally, it’s so annoying that we will not be keeping the range. If I needed a nightlight, I would buy one. Very poor design. The lights on the other appliances go out when not in use, one would think the range would have been designed to do so as well. I have NEVER had a problem with a stove light being too bright. This is ridiculous.

2 years of use the wash plate went. $150 later, one year later wash plate went again (the wash plate is all plastic, the motor spline in metal total stripes the plastic teeth in the wash plate) I replace myself. 3 weeks later the shift actuator failed which cost another $60 which I replaced. Now the bearing is going. There are only 3 people living in the house. I would stay away from the top loader washers from Whirlpool h2 low series. Huge disappointment.

In 2008 bought cheaper Whirlpool washer, had to return it to Lowes. ELLL DUMOH (me) buys yet another Whirlpool Washer from Lowes; a Cabrio. The Cabrio ONLY worked 3 years, and started having problems with not emptying or just continuing to drain and beep. The Whirlpool Customer Service lady is pitiful. Yeah... I can SELL you another set of shock absorbers... that might help. I can SELL you a recirculating pump or a drain pump... Pitiful, sorry attitude. Goodbye Whirlpool.

My Whirlpool dryer - Model# wgd49stbw, serial# ms2405113 went out on 1-29-16. Which I purchased from Lowes in August of 2015. Called the service company that I have my extended warranty with. They came out on 2-1-16. They did not have the part I needed in stock. It had to be ordered by the manufacturer. Sadly, I am still waiting and have been told it might come in on 3-29-16. Every time I call it gets pushed out another two weeks. This is really ridiculous. All the money I have spend at the laundromat I could have had a different source come out to fix. Which I still may do. I will never purchase another Whirlpool appliance again and certainly will NOT recommend. I am 65 years old and have a hard time dealing with the laundromat. If they get this part in by 3-29-16 it will have taken them two months. So sad.

In May of 2010, my husband and I purchased a Cabrio washing machine. By the fall of 2010, I had put in a call to Whirlpool due to the washing machine chewing holes into clothing and not cleaning the clothes. Some of the clothes would come out of the washing machine with dry spots on them. Whirlpool sent out two different servicemen and even though one of them replaced the agitator we have still had problems with it. One of the servicemen even tried to tell me it wasnt the machine but it was my detergent (I use HE Purex dye free). I was told by a service rep at Whirlpool that there was nothing more they could do and I would just have to deal with it. I understand that products go faulty but with good customer service these issues could be resolved. Whirlpool obviously has little regard for their customers. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully they can get results.

I bought one of the top of the line Maytag washers and was very disappointed. It only lasted about 5 years and had to be replaced. The dryer I bought at the same time is still working. It is 15 years old.

We purchased Whirlpool dishwasher Model #GU3200XTXB Nov. 2011. Two weeks later they replaced the soap/rinse aid dispenser because the rinse aid was running out the bottom of the dispenser. Feb. 2012 they replaced the handle which was loose. July 2012 the panel lights werent working and that was replaced. Feb. 2014 the soap dispenser door would not open, so the dispenser was replaced again. March 2014 the soap door would not open again so the computer board was replaced & the door did open. However, it stopped again 3 days later. April 2014 the dispenser and the board were both replaced. The rinse aid dispenser did not dispense leaving the inside with moisture on everything. So yesterday the dispenser was again replaced but now the rinse aid is running out the bottom of the dispenser. Thank goodness we purchased an extended warranty for $169 or we would have spent more than $1,000 on repairs!! The warranty company refuses to acknowledge that their lemon law should apply. There are 2 of us and we use it 2/3 times weekly.

Model # WMH 1163XVQ-1 manufactured 2010 however I purchased and installed it in July 2011. Noticed a small crack at the base of the handle about a year later. Within the past couple of weeks cracks are appearing everywhere including around the handle, the entire exterior frame as well as interior frame of the door. Neither my wife nor I slam the door or mishandle it to cause this damage. Called Whirlpool this week. Bottom line is that it would cost nearly as much to get a new door as to buy another microwave. This is an over the stove model. My previous microwave was GE and lasted over 15 years. Wont buy Whirlpool again.

My husband purchases Whirlpool washer years ago. Started acting up after 18 months. Wont spin, stays locked, clothes are soaking wet. Used troubleshooting website. Spent over $200.00 in repairs... including new board. Still doesnt work properly. Whirlpool customer service recommended buying a extended contract for over $300.00. I could have bought a $900.00 Maytag by now. Total disgusted with machine and customer service. Will never buy Whirlpool again and have told everyone by word of mouth and on facebook about this situation. DO NOT BUY WHIRLPOOL!

I ordered this Whirlpool 29 cu.ft. white french door refrigerator online from Goedeckers on April 26, 2013. Delivered May 15, 2013. Ever since we got it, there was a frost buildup in left back of ref. Also ice would fall out of dispenser all by itself. Also a buildup of ice under ice bin. Water would also drip from dispenser. We thought maybe since it was new these problems would go away. But they just got worse. I called Whirlpool & they sent out tech on 8/12/13. He told me Whirlpool has a problem with these refrigerators & would order parts. Well after 3 times of cancelling repairman due to parts on backorder, I told repair I would call when parts come in. I keep calling Whirlpool & keep hearing parts are on backorder, saying parts will be in in 7 days. I call back in 7 days and hear the same lies. Its a shame that they cant get parts in knowing that there is a major problem. It sounds like a real quality control problem. I really pride myself on buying American made but Whirlpool is not helping my case for buying American made. It would be nice if they offered to replace it being they cant seem to find parts.

Our recently purchased stove top is an average appliance. The surface is easily scratched just from paper towels when cleaning. Today for no apparent reason the igniters all started firing and continued for a good hour....I would definitely investigate other brands before purchasing again.

I just bought a house that has one of these ranges, and it was getting the F2 message. I found the problem. There is NO ventilation behind the electronic control so when the oven heats up, the control board gets too hot and throws the F2 code. That would indicate a bad temp sensor or bad board, but really its the heat shield on the back. Ive removed the metal plate from behind the control panel and it works fine now. Im considering drilling some vent holes and adding some insulation behind the control.

I bought this washer (Whirlpool Cabrio) about 4 years ago. A year or so later, it started leaking; based on reading the troubleshooting guide we found that this was because the feet would continually get out of balance. After painstakingly re-leveling the washer every 6 months or so the washer now consistently leaks - even though its balanced/level! $508 to repair a machine I paid $787 for. No thanks. I agree too with the other reports that it doesnt get clothes clean. I just figured this was a feature those of us got for trying to be energy efficient.

Initially felt the burners and oven took a LONG time to heat up, but just accepted it. After a year and a half, the motherboard died. The part alone was almost $400 and labor $100. The self clean does not work very well. Glass top is very hard to clean. It has a large oven space and looks nice, but would avoid Whirlpool at all costs following this experience.

I am very upset with this company. I bought my fridge two months ago from Sears. The fridge is leaking water and Im having a lot of problems with the freezer and the ice maker isnt working at all. Ive been trying to reach the company but they always leave me hanging in the phone and never answer and keep hanging up. I am very upset with this company. I wasted a lot of money for nothing. Please people dont buy fridges from Whirlpool and dont waste your money.

Updated on 04/15/2019: Called customer care about my ice maker which have went out for the second time less than two years and the 1st replacement have only been 9 months from today. Unfortunately they tell me it’s out of the one year warranty process and they can’t help me. Well look like the 2nd replacement should have been under warranty still. Their products are a piece of crap and they know it and don’t care because theyre making money off of the consumers. Be aware and advise you to stay away from Whirlpool appliances. They don’t stand behind their brand. There’s no way anyone should have to be making repairs on a new 2000 and sum refrigerator. My old one is 18 yrs old and still working fine no problems, better than this piece of crap. Warning to consumers. Don’t waste your time and especially your money. Didn’t want to give no stars but you have to give at least 1.Original Review: Purchased refrigerator In July of 2017 and had to have ice maker replaced less than a year of having it. Now again ice maker not working again and only been about 9 months from the last replacement. I think there should be a Lemon law on these products. These refrigerator are not cheap and if I buy something new and spend a good amount of money for, I don’t want any headache and worries. That’s the reason for getting a new one.

Whirlpool Dryers: I have 2 Duet Dryers and the user interface has gone bad with both several times. I called whirlpool several times to repair. The last time, they refused to repair the dryer. I started having problems with my dryers within the first 6 months of owning them. The repair guy that they sent out the first time said this repair was a major problem with the duets but the company chooses to not acknowledge the problem. They should be required to have a recall. Never by this dryer, you will regret it!

I chose based on the current ratings of the machines. They look nice and they can handle large loads. I think EPA has changed wash machines to be back into the 1920s. I put my clothes in and there is no agitator in the center. My clothes come out twisted tightly into little round circles or balls, not much water but now it takes over an hour to wash my clothes. So we are conserving water but using more power, I also have to iron sheets and clothes because they are so twisted and wrinkled. I used to stick my clothes into the washer, select a cycle and go on my way and now I have to answer 5 other selection options, if I dont hold the button in long enough it just turns off.Have we all lost our minds, I think this is going backwards not forwards. I have talked to other women and they agree with me, we HATE these new washer and dryers. The dryer is a little better but not much. Also the tops are concave so your laundry basket falls off, and you cant put your soap on the dryer which is where I am used to having it. Now I have to clean my washer every 30 cycles, iron and it takes all day to do the laundry, yes and they call this progress, really!!! I purchased the Whirlpool Cabrio W10607 425A- SP and dryers Whirlpool W10680129C-SP, these are full size and have the steam options on them and are side by sides.

From the very beginning the washing machine did not clean the load. It doesnt even get the load completely wet. The best you can hope for is to utilize lots of fabric softeners to at the least make your clothes smell clean because they surely wont be. Dont even get me started on the load lock feature because it serves no purpose other than to drive you batty. When your 15 year old son offers to give you money to buy a new washer after owning the one you just bought there is nothing I could say more profound than that. How Whirlpool stays in business befuddles the mind.

I like my dishwasher very much. Because we have hard well water I use Lemi Shine to cut down on any deposits. The top shelf is adjustable so that helps with large pans getting clean.

Whirlpool model EVLl201NXRQOO, serial no. EWT2423236 - Defective paint on the back of the freezer that caused rust to form and paint to peel off. Whirlpool does not warrant manufacturing defects on the paint. Guess I was lucky for it to be on the back and not the front.

I bought a new Whirlpool refrigerator from Sears and within a month the refrigerator side did not maintain temperature where milk would not spoil... Cool but never cold. I called Sears and they said its Whirlpool warranty to contact them. This I did and about a week later they contacted a local service company they use to maintain their equipment... Long story short this will be the 4th time they were informed the refrigerator still doesnt maintain temperature... Food had to be thrown out because of that.I asked them to refund me my cost or at minimum get a working refrigerator to me because after 4 attempts at trying to fix the problem it still exists... They just want to keep sending a repairman out there who still cant figure out the problem and that has cost me much time away from work not the mention the spoiled food costs... Even when complaining my dilemma to the repairman he said, All they will do is keep calling us and kick the can down the road... They could care less about what it has cost me in time and money... I had to give 1 star to this company but they dont deserve even that one... Dont waste you time thinking a warranty by them is worth a flip and now over 3 months Im without a refrigerator...

I dont know how anybody could write a good review on this machine. It always requires deep water wash and sometimes two cycles to get clothes clean. On regular cycle, it doesnt get water on all clothes. Oh yes, it does save water... Ive pulled things out with dry areas on them.

Bought new from menards. Doesnt work properly, doesnt wash right and cleans poorly. It too bad because I thought I was upgrading from my old Whirlpool washer that was 15 years old so I order the new cogs for the agitator on the old machine and now using it again. Works better than the new one. Sad that whirlpool wont stand behind the product. Might as well be made in china.

Gas control not working. I have replaced the thermostat twice in three years. Now, the hot water tank pilot will not light. The igniter works; a new thermostat has been properly installed, and the pilot will not light. The gas is on, and the tank has functioned. I just want a new gas control.

From the time I had the Cabrio top load washer, it has been repaired at least 8 times. I did get the extended 2-year warranty. I should have known that this machine was going to give me problems from the first service call. I have had to have the motor replaced 4 out of the 8 times the machine has been serviced due to coins getting into the motor. I have a problem with rust around the dispenser. I also feel that the clothes get very tangled when washing. The machine is just 5 years old. This time when I called for repair with A&E appliance repair, they told me that it was going to be $450.00 to repair. Now, I am not going to repair it, especially after having all the problems I have had with it. I will never purchase another Whirlpool product or any of their other products that they make. I did call Whirlpool just to let them know my problem and to let them know that there have been hundreds of complaints with the same washer that I have. It’s too bad that Whirlpool has no respect, passion or pride in what they make. I am going to purchase a new washer and it will not be anything related to Whirlpool.

I purchased the 19 cu. ft. Whirlpool Estar refrigerator WRT 3595FYW on 4/28/12. Freezer began showing frost immediately. Repairman from Marcellas Appliance where purchased - (518) 381-1957, came to check it, put a sealer around the door openings of refrigerator and freezer. Frost continued. I called Whirlpool. They sent another repairman from EB Russell in Schenectady, NY, door needs replacing. Door was ordered and when received by them, the door was replaced on my refrigerator.In August 2012, frost is in freezer, on its roof, on the door daily. I called Whirlpool. I told them I wanted to remove it from my home. Whirlpools reply was, you have a repair warranty, not a replacement warranty. I was not advised of this when I purchased. Otherwise, I would have gone to Sears, Lowes, etc. On 8/16/12, another repairman from The Appliance Man, Albany will be here Monday. Its dishonest sale, replacement was advised possible by Marcella, that it was just a matter of course to get an okay from Whirlpool. This is not so. There is no replacement or return policy. Whirlpool Refrigerator Model # GI6SARXXF 04 Ice Maker - About nine months after purchasing this unit the ice maker began to stop working. I researched what the issue might be. During this time, the ice maker decided to begin working again. This occurred again about 15 months into ownership. At 19 months into ownership, the ice maker no longer works after approximately 5 weeks. Whirlpool will not allow me to purchase an extended warranty. I was told by a CR on the phone. However, she did offer a Repair +1 service contract that cost $345.55. I advised the CR that on the Whirlpool website, I was offered an extended warranty for 2 years for approximately $165.00. After waiting for her to check into my claim of being offered the extended warranty for about 10 minutes, she came back to advise me that no existing issues would be covered. In other words, my $2000.00+ Whirlpool refrigerator is so crappy that Whirlpool only offers a 1 year warranty. And unless I pay $345.55 and/or a service tech charging $129 for a trip charge only, I will not have a working ice maker. Additionally, the capacity for ice storage is extremely small, even for my 2 person household. At times, the ice comes out crushed even though the setting is for cubed ice. The ice shoot is great for taller glasses, but if trying to use a shorter glass, watch out! You will have ice all over your floor every time!

The refrigerator is about 2 years old. Has worked great. Stainless steel finish looks great. Was a good price at Lowes, with free delivery and removal of old refrigerator. I bought a simple model. Did not need a water connection.

Do not buy a Whirlpool fridge unless you like the sound of knocking every time it starts up. This has been fixed twice to no avail. I bought a Whirlpool washer in Aug. 2015. At the end of September I had to call and get a repair man to come out twice because my clothes got stuck way down under the agitator. Not only that, but it does not clean my clothes well at all. I am really dissatisfied with this washer!!

We bought the Whirlpool water heater and not long after, it quit heating. After many phone calls, we finally got a response and were told to get the replacement thermocouple. We did this and it was the wrong part. We found out that we had to have a right hand thread thermocouple. Now, the heater is out of warranty and we cannot keep it lit at all. It takes at least 3-4 times before it will light once and then it goes out every time the hot water is used.

I bought the HE Whirlpool Cabrio 2 years ago. It has all the bells and whistles, fancy cycles, etc. but doesnt clean ANYTHING. I have to wash three times to get things clean... So much for energy efficiency. It also gets out of balance with larger loads. What a waste of money and time.

We bought the dishwasher on 12/28/11. It broke 4 weeks later. I had the company come out to fix it. 6 months later, it broke again, needed a whole new control board. 3 months later, it broke again, they came out and did some type of repair. 7 months later, it broke again and it needed a whole new control board. They wanted to charge us $250.00 for this, but after some major arguing in regards to how New this was and the warranty now out, they waived the fee. 3 weeks later, the same problem as before! I am so angry about this lemon of a dishwasher! They are coming out again today! I am quite sure they will need to replace the control board again! I will never buy another Whirlpool product.

Bought a dryer (wgd9050xw) 3 years ago. We bought a more expensive one than we had originally picked out. Every year its had to have a repair of same part. First year it was under warranty which tried to bill me so I had to dispute the charge. Charge was finally dropped. We just had it fixed again for third time in 3 years. Its a fire hazard because belt wears a pulley and basically melts it and gets belt hot. I just contacted Whirlpool and awaiting response.

We have a new home with a Whirlpool gold refrigerator that has been fixed twice in 3 years for not cooling adequately (over 45 degrees), a dishwasher that the mother board has gone out twice with 3 different service calls (repairman recommended trashing and buying a new one), microwave that is rusted out on inside door below glass, and washer with horrid smell if you dont wash with bleach weekly and dryer whose sensor doesnt sense anymore after 2 service calls!!! I cannot believe the poor customer service and lack of responsibility the company has taken on these not inexpensive products!! Like others on this post they will not acknowledge problems and tell me I should have bought extended warranty. I am so angry - there should be some sort of law that allows recourse for such bad behavior!

Washer doesnt get soap out of clothes. Had tutorial from service man. Must use extra rinse every time and still have soap on dark clothes. Worst washer I have ever owned. Makes washing a lot of extra work and frustration. Have tried everything to no avail. Takes at least three times longer to wash clothes with all the steps I have to take to get soap out. I understand EPA demands for less water usage, but clothes still must be properly cleaned.

WORST EXPERIENCE USING WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR. I purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator in July 2013 (Model - Whirlpool Ref New 495 CLUB IMPERIA). Suddenly it stopped working on May 12 and I registered a compliant to the customer care. Engineer came in same and I was surprised by the service, he checked and said he rectified the problem and he left. But the problem was still there and it was never rectified. I launched the complaint again on May 13 and engineer came again and said there is gas problem in Compressor and he left by saying that another engineer will come to refill the gas in compressor. Next day new engineer came in he checked everything and said this compressor is not working and needs to be replaced. I said go ahead and replace it, he said it will take 1-2 days. I said “ok lets do it.” But now theyre saying that they do not have the compressor in stock and they will change the appliance. Again as I do not have another option I said “ok lets do it.”Now the drama start: they are saying I need to pay 20% as a depreciation of the total cost of the refrigerator + INR 1000/- (Cartage) + difference of the new refrigerator which comes to around INR 21,000/-. Well can someone tell me why I need to pay this huge amount when my appliance is still in 10 years of warranty and its just compressor problem and rest of the product is just fine. After fighting with them come to a conclusion that I need pay INR 10,200/- and I will get the new appliance. Now when I already paid the DEMAND DRAFT (DD) of this amount now no one is responding to me on when I will be getting a delivery of the new Refrigerator. Only God knows when I will be getting this. In this HOT summer we are facing a lot of issues just because of their bad service. No one from Customer Care is giving me any response nor are they taking my calls now.Now can someone tell me what I should do? I am left with no option and thinking of taking a legal action against them and thinking of launching a complaint in Consumer Court against them. We bought this washer on 9/05/09. Recently, it sprung a leak due to a worn out seal that the repairman said would cost more to fix than just getting another washer. You would think this might be cause for distress, but I literally jumped in the air and clicked my heels with joy! This washer has been nothing but a pain. First of all, I have to pre-soak every load before washing or the clothes come out just as dirty as they went in. I would set the timer on my stove to let me know when the 40 min soak cycle ended so I could change it to wash. Then I reset the timer for another 40 minutes. I also learned the hard way, that using any kind of heavy duty setting would turn towels into a pile of yarn. This washer cost $998, and guilt is the only reason I didnt replace it years ago. Ding Dong the washer is DEAD!!!

I bought a new Whirlpool refrigerator (model GX5SHDXV01) about 5 years ago. This company used to have a great reputation, but times have changed. At 2 years, the defroster went out and needed to be replaced. I thought at the time it was just one of those flukes, since Whirlpool makes such good products. But, here I am again with the defroster out at just over 5 years old. I contacted customer support and was told that they would not stand behind their product. Twice in 5 years is ridiculous! Poor marks for reliability.

It was horrible! I paid $568 for a Whirlpool dishwasher from Lowes in 3/09. The Clean light flashed, then stopped and flashed again. I didnt buy an extended warranty, because I felt Whirlpool was a great company. I had A&E Factory Service come for a service call, paying $70 later w/ tax, only to find out that the heater is no longer working. It would cost $216 to fix it, and we had to remove the dishwasher. Why bother for the total of Todays service call and the repair, when I could buy a new dishwasher? It cost $568, and it lasted a little over 2 years! It was horrible. Theres no warranty and no help from Whirlpool, because I didnt buy a warranty. Guess, my dishes will air dry, and I might as well do them myself!

My son purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine about two years ago and now it doesnt work. It was an almost $1,000 machine. You would expect a higher quality product. I always bought Whirlpool products because they were so dependable so I recommended my son to go with Whirlpool. Big mistake, the panel lights up but when you press the power button, nothing happens. I do not recommend this machine to anyone. Im wondering if anyone else that has purchased this has had the same trouble.

I purchased a Whirlpool Duet HE front end loading washing machine. Less than two years after purchase, the machines tub and bearings failed amounting to a repair bill of $1035.00. Fortunately for me, or so I thought, I purchased an extended warranty for the machine. However, even though the complaint department was aware of the failure, the amount of the repair and the fact that I declined repair and was opting for the $500 reimbursement option, I was told that the claim, as it was called, would take 2-3 business days to process and if I was awarded (his words) the reimbursement, I could only use this money on a new machine at a Sears store and not on any new, but previous year model, or at a Sears outlet. None of these things were related to me when they took my $214.00 for the warranty. In all, my original washing machine of 22 months will have cost me $1414.00. My new washing machine, if awarded one, will cost approximately $400. The total cost to wash clothes for 10 months will exceed $1,800.00. Do not purchase Whirlpool front end loaders because the drum bearings will break (that is why they exclude them from extended warranties) and do not buy extended warranties as Sears makes out in the end.

I used the Whirlpool website contact form, and described an issue I have with the Cabrio washing machine. When the form is submitted, it states that the company will respond in three business days. Two weeks later, after no response, I submitted a second contact form. It has been five days, and I still have not received a response.

We bought all new appliances Stove, Frig., Microwave, and Washing machine. The washing machine does not get the clothes clean. Most of the time it either does not put enough water in to get the clothes wet or it will not spin. We had it less than six months and had to call for a repairman and to this day it is not any better. The Frig. we bought is noisy and makes a high pitch sound that sounds like a motorcycle taking off. We had everyone over at thanksgiving only to find out the ice maker had stopped working. The microwave does not heat very well at all and at times if you open the door before it has stopped it continues to run. Everything was purchased at the same time from Lowes about a year ago. I will never purchase another whirlpool appliance.

Totally worst experience with Whirlpool fridge with 1 year of the purchase. It started having cooling issues. Also it was making noise. When contacted for its replacement the company did not agreed for the same saying would provide free service within warranty period however after that customer will have to pay. Quality of product (shelf life) is too bad in context with the company it belongs to.

I earlier filed a complaint about the Whirlpool Gold microwave arcing within a minute of cooking frozen green beans and causing burn holes in the food. We contacted Whirlpool’s customer service and were told that the machine was no longer under warranty, but we could have it serviced, repaired and have an additional year of warranty for $259. We took a pass on that. Further trial and error along with research helped us come to the realization that the arcing was caused by the high mineral content of the green beans. Whirlpool did not tell us this, but we found the information provided by others. We no longer cook the particular brand of green beans which seem to cause this event. The microwave is no longer arcing. You would think Whirlpool might be aware of this.

Horrible stove. Bought online. Get set up and its worst design ever. Have to lay down on floor to watch broiler. Cant even slide out. The stove top is difficult to clean. The cast iron grates are very heavy and have to move one side at a time. I Cant control low heat. Have to use back burner only. Then Crap builds up on back console. The oven grates are too wide apart, Have To supplement with racks from my other stove oven.

This machine (Cabrio) is a piece of junk. It does not fill up with enough water to cover the clothes, even on deep wash and your detergent will still be sitting on top at end of wash and clothes are not clean. It was a $900.00 machine. We need to file a class action law suit. Worthless waste of money. Anyone know of any remedies to get a new machine from Whirlpool or of any class action suits?

Bought brand new, Whirlpool front load washer and dryer, from Corbeil. Got both items home and connected and levelled (yes I took out the shipping bolts). Did my first washing and watched my new washer dance across the floor. Called Corbeil and they told me no refunds. Best they could do was to send out a Tech to check it. Tech came, changed the shock absorbers, a token act because the machine danced as much as it did before. Please for your own well being DO NOT buy this product and DO NOT buy from Corbeil. There are other products on the market that advertise items that dont shake.

Purchased washer 8/2015. Washer quit working 12/2015. Would not drain or do anything. Repairman dispatched and came 3 business days later. (They dont work weekends.) Repairman looked at old receptacle cover and immediately stated, Problem with polarity of plug. No prior problems with plug running appliances. Plugged into it for over 8 years. When I advised him of that then he started troubleshooting circuit board. He cleaned out the machine and got it to work. (Still under warranty) 4 days from repair, and machine quits. Same problem. Wont drain and wont do anything. Call for service again on Weds. morning and given following Tues for service call. Online consumer reports complaints #ered at over 1,7000. Same machine, same problems. Call Whirlpool directly, given runaround. Talk to Whirlpool mgr. (Robert) complaint # **. He states, Have to wait for service. But calls Brandt Melb., FL to try to get sooner service. Brandt calls me stating they have ordered a lid lock and CCU board for machine and will be out Monday. How would they know to order these parts if it is not a constant issue? Im thinking class action suit for shoddy product... LOWES Indian Harbour Beach, FL. Transaction #**.

I have a refrigerator model wrs325fdam. Its not a year old and I cant believe the runaround that I am getting from Whirlpool customer service. Come one day everything in freezer melting. Call a repair person. He come out, diagnose the problems, orders $825 worth of parts for a $899 refrigerator, puts the parts in. On the temperature in the freezer reads 80 degrees. No its order $200 more parts for this scrap metal pile. At what point do the people give a damn at the consumer, its not like anybody has common sense. Im going on two weeks without a ten-month-old refrigerator and four days waiting for them to figure this out. Would not recommend Whirlpool to anyone who cares about fair treatment.

Purchased front load washer & dryer 2009 - have had issues with the washer ever since. The last episode has taken 3 visits from repairman - they cant figure out what the problem is - wont finish a cycle (any of them) and locks up. Cant open the door without turning it off and then back on. But the load wont spin dry - leaves clothes wet. Already had the harness replaced a couple of years ago and now they replaced the flywheel (it was warped) thinking that was the problem. Nope. Still wont work & the repair company said they cant figure it out & neither can Whirlpool. Im very angry after reading all of these posts about Whirlpool. Not a happy customer. But what can you do???

I purchase a WP Fridge only unit model WRF578 18D MOO in July 2016. I woke up 3 months later and my fridge was filled with rotten food, the internal temp was 16 C 60.8 F. I phoned Sears and they had me phone WP. They tried to repairman but he phoned and told me that he could not service my fridge as he was a 3 1/2 hr and one Ferry ride away from me - He was in Whistler and I live on the Sunshine Coast. I phoned WP again and they sent someone who actually lives here. He found and repaired a small freon leak. Four months later it happened again, the fridge was also making loud noises when the compressor started and stopped. I phoned WP again. They sent the same repairman, he ordered and installed a new compressor and topped up the freon. Sadly less than 3 months later it happened again. This time I was very firm with WP that I was unhappy, they extended my warranty for a further 6 months. The same repairman again came and topped up the freon. That brings us to this week. On Wednesday June 14 I woke up again for the fourth time to a fridge full of rotting food. The fridge was actually warmer than my Greenhouse that day! I phoned WP. They were unwilling to help so I asked for a supervisor. She offered to pay 1/2 of the service call as my warranty had expired Jan 26/17. I said that was unacceptable and asked to speak to her Supervisor. She stated that she was as high as I could speak to, so I asked for an e-mail address for her supervisor. She instead tried to tell that I had no warranty and that they had already fixed my fridge 3 times and given me an extra 6 months on my warranty and offered for me to BUY an extended warranty! I replied that if my fridge were fixed I would not need a service call and that in fact my fridge had never really been fixed. She transferred me to another person. He offered to pay for the service call. I accepted. He asked if I were happy, I said that I would wait and see after the service call on Monday. I Asked if it were the same Man, he said that violated his Privacy. I said I will see him Monday! Will he be wearing a disguise?! Kohuch (the Service guy is coming over this afternoon -Friday) my Husband left work early to be here.

My dryer lasted 18 months and then died! All parts have been replaced. $700 and highly rated, I dont know by WHO but would love to have a chat with them.

Sears, Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum washer and dryer purchased spring of 2013. I thought this would be a good combination to purchase quality appliances that would last for years. NOT! These machines are used by my wife and I only. Washer: Bearings go out. Repair: Replace tub and bearings. Quote: These things arent made to last more than about two or three years. Another quote. Do you notice that your clothes arent getting dry? Yes. Yeah well, you have to use the timed dry setting because the regular setting shuts off as soon as it senses one piece of clothes is dry and leaves the rest of your clothes damp. DO NOT BUY.

I just bought my stove four years ago. Every time I want to bake something, I have to run a fan on my stove because it overheats and shows an F2 error message. I then have to unplug it, leave it unplugged for 20 or so minutes. Once it cools down, I can plug it back in and use it. I have to go through this every time I use the oven. Its annoying and I lose a lot of food because sometimes, it just wont work. Idk what to do!

We bought all new appliances, and within a year, the range and microwave are not working correctly and the refrigerator has rust on the doors. We called about the rust on the doors and were told that it is not stainless steel as advertised and rust is not covered. Fortunately, we purchased an extended warranty, which will cover the repairs to the oven and microwave. Well see how it goes. Stainless steel appliances really arent stainless steel, so they are misrepresenting their products to many people.

I bought YMFE330W0AW0 Whirlpool on sale less than a year ago and I have been angry since almost the beginning. This is a cheaply made product which angers me because Whirlpool is supposed to be a quality product. The clock cannot be set because we have to press really hard and that part of the stove head is broken now. I knew this would happen after only a few weeks but was wishing it would not. There is a lot of heat that leaks out of the oven continuously when trying to bake something. The top is horrible. This stove top does not keep an equal heating element so if you put it on low, it actually turns off for a few minutes and becomes red again for a moment or so. It is impossible to cook anything evenly. I HATE and DETEST this stove. The worst product I have ever known. If it is on sale...BEWARE.
