The electronic panel on my 4 year old barely used wall oven went out when I used the self cleaning function for the first time. It is going to cost $400 to fix it and another $100 to replace the stainless steel sides. They will have to remove to get the oven out of the wall. The oven door is locked and cant be opened so of the wall will have to torn out as well. I called Whirlpool 3 times and have offered no assistance.

About five years ago, I purchased a top load Whirlpool Cabrio washer and matching dryer. For the past couple of years or so, this washer gets out of balance every spin cycle. It sounds like a mac truck running through my house. At this time, I do not have $300-$400 to buy a warranty when I feel that this problem is so widespread (via internet complaints) that Whirlpool should fix this problem. I replaced a perfectly working 13-year old Maytag washer simply because my dryer went out. I have contacted customer service with no results. I recommended this washer to my neighbor about a couple of years ago and now I am sorry I did. Little did I know that three years in there would have to be a repair. As you know, this isnt a bottom of the line cheap washer, therefore, I wouldnt expect it would be acting like one after this period of time. I asked Dave who at Whirlpool cared and basically, he had no answer. I told him that I would expect a company as large as Whirlpool to have people who have the job of searching the internet to see what people are saying about the company and if they did, they would know this was a problem with these washers and would initiate some sort of recall. This is such a bone of contention at my house that I wish the thing would just die so I had to go buy another (and trust me it wont be a Whirlpool). But rather, I get to listen to my washer thrust throughout my house every load I do.

Hi. We purchased a french doors 32 cubic feet refrigerator from Home Depot in January 2017. Since day one it has not worked correctly. We have dual ice makers and neither one works. The fridge doesnt cool at all! Whirlpool sent out an appliance repair company who said they ordered the parts. Its been 2 months and guess what still no parts on order and still have no refrigerator. So after 45 or more minutes on the phone with them for the millionth time we came to the conclusion that we are stuck with a POS refrigerator! They refuse to swap the fridge out. They said Home Depot would have to swap it and its against their policy. (Thats another complaint department.) We will never recommend a Whirlpool product again. Never buy Whirlpool. They love taking our money and thats where they stop.

I purchased a Whirlpool Washing Machine in November, 2015 and today, I had a repair person out who said the bearing had ruptured and the washing machine cannot be repaired - 2 1/2 years later. Contacted Whirlpool Customer Service who would do nothing other than try to explain to me that I should have purchased an extended warranty as they could not stand behind the machine past the one year. Would not even offer sending a tech out on their dime to confirm what my repairman had said that this is a failed production process of these machines - it was nothing that I had done caused this issue. But yet they wanted to sell me another machine. It will be a cold day before I purchase another Whirlpool product.I was shocked at the lack of customer service to assist with a situation that both the location I purchased it from and my own repair tech said that they are seeing so often with these machines. I would never purchase another item from Whirlpool again nor would I recommend any of their items. I will go to great lengths to give others the background on how Whirlpool will not stand behind their products, lack of customer service to resolve a situation or can work outside of what is given to them to correct a situation - this is not OK!

I purchased a Whirlpool cabrio mod. wtw5840bwo washing machine in Oct. of 2014. As of June 2015 I am ready to kick it to the curb. The washer works to it design and hasnt broke down but it doesnt clean our clothes. We load the machine, add the right amount of clothes and recommended detergents and 1hr later after the wash cycle is completed, the clothes still stink with the smell of daily perspiration. I went back to using our old washer that has a worn out agitator. It does a better job.

I love my ceramic top. My only complaint is I wish my knobs were on the front of the stove because I am short. It would be nice to not have to reach over hot burners just to turn the temp up or down.

Worst service ever. This is my 4th refrigerator (I have 2 homes and moved a few times) and I have NEVER heard of a compressor going bad in 8 months. This was a new fridge, and all of my food went bad along with my infants milk. I cannot express how upset we were, and Whirlpool told us that they cant do anything for us, and it was just something that happens. Basically, they told me, Sorry for your loss... you should buy a longer warranty since this is not covered if it happens after a year. This is Whirlpools way of telling me, we dont care if you use our product. I am amazed that they wont give us even a credit for what happened. NEVER BUY WHIRLPOOL.

After 2.5 years seal around door melted on microwave. Whirlpool Corp sent a repairman to do a safety check. Said unit was ok to use. Plastic seal on for area totally melted about 2 inches wide. Co. Had a recall about a similar problem but our serial number was not included???? Did not want to give them any stars.

I purchased a Whirlpool brand refrigerator from PC Richards two months ago. The compressor has stopped working causing my refrigerator to stop cooling and in turn all my food has gone bad. I reached out to P.C. Richards and they immediately credited me a check for the full amount of the refrigerator, with the option to get a new one delivered to me. I asked P.C.R. customer service if I would be credited for the food in my fridge and they suggested I reach out to the manufacturer. I reached out and, to my dissatisfaction Whirlpool will not credit me for the loss of the food in the refrigerator. I am completely disappointed. As I mentioned before I purchased the fridge 2 months ago. This is clearly a manufacture issue. I purchased a lemon and I am getting no support from Whirlpool customer affairs department. As a person who works for a reputable company in the purchasing department, I will see to it that we never do business with this company again. A company that doesn’t stand for anything or even compensates their customer for a faulty product should not be in business. Forgot to mention the customer affairs rep. Offered me fifty dollars for my troubles. Which I turned down. Besides the fact that fifty dollars will not cover a third of the items in my fridge, money is no longer the problem. It is the lack of customer service for purchasing one of their appliances. I am completely disappointed and will never recommend or purchase this product again.

I purchased my Cabrio washer from Lowes 4 years ago. I noticed the smell and researched issues online. Suggested using the cleaners made for tubs. Im tired of the smell. I had repairman tear apart the washer. He told me they put water in the tub for balancing. Really... the tub is made of plastic. Will never buy anything Whirlpool again.

New range and the faceplate keeps melting. Had it fixed once and it is melting again. I have been trying to contact Whirlpool but to no avail. What is my next step and is anyone else having a problem with this.

My top loading Whirlpool washer model WTW57ESVW1 failed after just over two years. When I called my service man, he turned it on and immediately told me it was not worth fixing as the transmission was bad and this model was known for this issue. I contacted Whirlpool Corp. and the person on the phone stated she could do nothing for me. I asked for a supervisor and was told she would give me a discount on parts, but I had to find out just what part it would be before she would tell me what percentage of a discount she could give me and the service call was my responsibility. Due to this treatment, I will not buy another Whirlpool nor will I recommend it to any of my friends. I will also post on Facebook my experience with Whirlpool.

We have had Whirlpool front loading washers for 15 years. The first had a bad bearing problem, that was eventually fixed, but still disappointing. The second doesnt is missing some features that the old one had. All and all I am happy with this washers and do not know of anything better, within my price range.

In defense of Whirlpool, I will preface my question with the fact that I did attempt to call them and they were closed and Ive used manual to troubleshoot. Problem: when I cook any baked good in top smaller oven, the cookies, etc. on front of pan closest to door bake even and are not burned. All cookies on back half of sheet are burned and not cooked thoroughly. Any advice or similar experience to share would be so appreciated.

I bought a Whirlpool larder fridge 18 months ago. It suddenly stopped working so we got a service engineer up who said there was no gas. He said it would cost 50.00, but with no guarantee it would work afterwards.

I have owned two different Whirpool washers over the last several years, and they have both been a very big disappointment. More than that they have cost me money, time, and peace of mind. The Duet was my first experience with a Whirlpool appliance. It was a front load that I replaced the water pump on twice and constantly had to take the front bottom piece of the washer off to clean the trap on. It had been taken off so much that the machine actually just fell apart. It also had some type of mold or mildew problem where it made the clothes smell. It was a constant headache.I was stupid and allowed a salesperson from HHGregg to talk me into purchasing the Whirlpool Cabrio washer. Another huge mistake. Again, cost me time, money and peace of mind. I have owned the washer for a COUPLE OF MONTHS, and the clothes that I have washed smell so bad that I cannot use the washer anymore. I tried to call customer service, but it is impossible to get any help because the lines were so backed up, I have not had the time to sit and wait for an available person. Not to mention there is an extensive process of pushing lots of buttons before you are put on hold to presumably talk to a human being. I assume this is because so many people are having so many problems with their Whirlpool appliances. It is not surprising. I bought a new washer, a GE. It is awesome!When I have the patience and the time, I will try to call Whirlpool again and see if they are willing to do anything about the washer that at this point is just sitting in my garage taking up space. I spent around $600 on a washer I only got a few months of use out of. When we moved it to the garage, we could hear water swishing around, which explains the horrible smell of the clothes. Once I started having the issue, I went online to see if this was an easy fix, and it turned out that LOTS of other people are having the exact problem, to the point where people are trying to get a class action suit going. Do yourself a favor and avoid the hassle of dealing with this company. If you purchase a Whirlpool washer, I guarantee you will be sorry. Trust me, I was stupid enough to do it twice. We bought our Terrorpool Whirlpool refrigerator in 2006. We have had problems with the ice dispenser, bad motor replacement, and now we have cracks all down the right inside wall. I had bought an extended warranty of four years at the time of purchase which covered the cost of the previous problems. But it has now expired, and I was told it would be my expense for repair. What happened to reliable appliances that our parents and grandparents had? What happened to the name Whirlpool? I will never buy a Whirlpool product again, not to mention the customer service (which I wont mention). I bought a new washer and dryer 2 years ago, it was built by Whirlpool under the Kenmore name plate. In the first two weeks we had them come and service it as it was very loud in spin mode. The serviceman said they were all like that. Now, two years later, it is so loud you cannot even carry on a conversation while in the spin mode. Called for service again. After two minutes he says, You better buy a new washer, this one will cost over $800 to fix. Never will buy another Whirlpool appliance or Kenmore again. Buyer beware!

Purchased a Whirpool Cabrio washer. We bought this on sale at a Lowes and paid half the original price. Get it delivered and set up no issues. After about a week of washing clothes, there is a God awful smell coming from the washer because the water does not drain completely! I have used refresh washer cleaner to try and get it to go away. Most of the time there is no smell, but about once every other week, the smell is so bad it permeates through my home and makes it smell of rotten garbage. I do not recommend this washer. The cycle times jump around from the original time it tells you and the smell is just so bad. The little tray where you put liquid detergent doesnt even have a way to drain the detergent into the laundry properly and after every wash I have to dump the tray out because it stays filled with water where the water comes in and causes the detergent to rise out of the tiny hole on top. You might as well just add the detergent directly onto your clothes. I use an excellent brand of detergent that has top reviews and my clothes still dont come out smelling good from this washer. I have tried other detergents too to make sure it wasnt that one. I wish my hubby and I wouldve never paid for this thing and gone with a different one.

I bought a Whirlpool french door refrigerator, model # ED5LVAXWS about five years ago. I didnt have any problems until last month, on August 25, 2016. The ice dispenser stopped working, and the refrigerator went off. I had to throw out a lot of food. I got a new extended warranty that day, and a serviceman came out the following day, 8/26. It turned out he wasnt a repairman, just someone to diagnosis the problem and order the parts. The part was ordered, and the fridge would be repaired within 5 days, but the part was delayed because of a Hurricane Hermine, which completely understandable.On 9/8 the repairman arrived, but he realized that the original guy who diagnosed the problem was in error. He had ordered a compressor, and what needed to be replaced was the thermostat. As of today, 9/29, the part is still not in -- I was told its on backorder with no ETA. If I didnt have a mini fridge, Id be at a complete loss. I called what I thought was Whirlpool to complain about the part taking so long to arrive, but was told they can do nothing. It turns out that a company called AIG U.S. Warranty Division handles Whirlpools guarantees. I am not a happy camper.

This washer was expensive, platinum line. Clothes never smelled fresh and clean like they should. There is not enough water to cover and clean. After 4 years it started smelling dank and unpleasant even after cleaning cycle is run. Now I discover it has been leaking for quite a while. It will be 6 years old in July. The top wont stay up. This happened months ago. The part alone is 250.00 according to several sites. I just prop it up. Very displeased with this poorly constructed, expensive rip off!

I bought a Whirlpool Gold refrigerator in 2010 from Lowes. Within months it had a Freon leak and Lowes had to replace it. I had bought the extended warranty. In 2011 a part had to be replaced twice due to excessive noise. Then the freezer got frost buildup on a coil in 2012 and again in 2014. I called Whirlpool and asked if they would pay for my next 3 year warranty. They said no, it was my responsibility after the first year. I would never buy a Whirlpool product . Do research, Whirlpool makes several brands.

Always buy an extended warranty if you are going to buy a washing machine. Mine cost $129.00 extra and it is not through Whirlpool. Three control panels and two tub bearings later, the extended warranty insurance carrier gave us our money back to buy another machine. My wife loves the operation of the Cabrio, so we bought a WTW8200YW today, in the false hope that it will work much better. We have an extra washing machine in the garage for the three week period before repairs. The serviceman has to come look to verify the problem, then come back when the part arrives.

I bought my Whirlpool Cabrio washer from Lowes in Statesboro GA on 2-14-14. I did purchases an extended warranty on it. After 11 months is when I started to have my problems. I was washing my clothes. I did not hear my beep on my washer. After 2 hours my laundry should have been done. I stopped on the wash cycle and shut off. I put it on the rinse cycle thinking it washed my clothes. It shut off during the rinse cycle. I called the Lowes repair. ** was to come the next day, He did not show up. I had to call again. It took 2 more days before he came out.It takes over 6 business days before I get my part. I have to have my laundry washed else where. It did the same thing again. I called. ** came out. He ordered the other part. It took 7 business days. It came in Tuesday. I tried to wash my daughters comfort on Wednesday. It did the same thing. Shut off during the wash cycle. I called at once. ** was to have been here Thursday. He never showed up. I called Friday. They said hell be there by 5. He still never showed up. I called back today .This time ** called me. He said, “So you tore it up?” I said, “NO it’s still doing the same thing.” He said hell be here tomorrow between 8-12. I am so tired of this washer. I even asked if I could get a replacement. They said no. I said this is stressing me out. I am on anxiety pills already. This is not doing any good. I paid all the money for this washer and it does not work. I have to arrange to have my laundry done some where else. All they said was sorry.This is the worse washer to buy.

My front loading machine is moldy and smells terrible ALL THE TIME -- I hate this machine and will never ever buy one like this again. I spend more money on cleaner than I do on actual laundry soap.

My Whirlpool microwave has been great. Just the right size for my family, with enough settings that it wasnt complicated to use. I found it was very useful with different recipes that I liked to make. I always used it whenever possible to cut down on my cooking time because time is something we dont seem to have enough of. I have baked a lot of different items in my microwave, chickens, all kind of casseroles, cakes. You can even scramble eggs in this one!! It keeps dishes warm until you decide to serve it which is a plus because all microwaves do not have this option. I believe you will enjoy it too!

Good washing machine for 3 year. 4th year onwards your repair cost starts increasing. I purchased machine for 24 k. Now my repairs costs are 25 k. Each time the service guy comes puts me a bill of 7 k and above. The complaints to Mr ** goes to deaf years as he never picks the call. Their visit charges also are more and never give warranty above 30 days. How will you feel when you have paid more money on services ce than the product. I have supporting hills for all.

I bought Whirlpool dishwasher (silver, Golden Series), after one year it just stopped for nothing and the circuit controller failed with error code E2/F2. So it was expensive but turned out to be totally unreliable. I had to pay $200 to get extended warranty and still waiting for the parts!!! Worst experience ever (uh Golden Series, for me it is Plastic Series). Will never buy any product from this company again.

I purchased the refrigerator in Nov. 2013 and it stopped working completely on 3/22/14. I called Customer Service and they told me someone from Apple Appliance would be here on the 24th, it is now the 27th and still no repairman. I have contacted both Apple and Whirlpool everyday and have gotten no satisfaction at all. I just found out that I will have to wait until March 31st to have someone here. I have lost everything in the freezer and refrigerator and have no way to cool anything. I find this unacceptable but have no alternative but to wait until Whirlpool does something about it. I will never purchase any other appliance from them.

Purchased Whirlpool Gold appliances for a kitchen reno two years ago. Fridge and stove from a dealer and microwave from Lowes. Fridge - After one year the ice maker quit. $200 part plus labour. Seal on fridge door not sealing. New hinge and washers to adjust. $30 plus labour. Stove - three different stoves were delivered with the same paint flaw on the top of the control panel (3 inch section where paint did not adhere or was scraped off... Same spot on all three... clearly a factory issue). Stove door - when you touch it the interior light goes on. Warming button and switch was broken when purchased but didnt notice. Whirlpool wont warranty. $48 plus labour. Last piece in this puzzle... Microwave - magnetron went and wont heat. $300 plus labour. Obviously time to change brands. Now to figure out who is NOT under the same manufacturing umbrella.

My Whirlpool Gold, Model # G16FDRXxQ06, has failed four (4) separate times. In each case I lost thousands of dollars, mostly in high-quality frozen foods. A Sears repair service representative came and repaired the refrigerator. In less than a year, after each repair, I had to call again. Three of these failures resulted in the loss of my food because the refrigerator simply stopped running. Unfortunately, I had been away from home for more than a week. One failure was caused by water leaking. This was apparently caused by a frozen pipe under the refrigerator. The repairman said that this was a routine failure for this Whirlpool model. I would like to recover my financial loss from Whirlpool. Is there a process to claim my loss? Is there a better, more reliable refrigerator?

Have had this washer for one year. Clothes have never been clean since day one. Dark clothes come out with white marks all over. Having to use an extra rinse cycle or set on bulky items - whats the point of a high efficiency appliance? Still not clean after that anyways. Stains such as chocolate and toothpaste still remain after washing and my husband complains of finding small holes in his clothes. Lid needs to be left open at all times or you get a funky smell. I am using the HE liquid detergent, even tried a cold water product for cold washes. I hate this washer. Wish I had my 20 year old Kenmore still.

I have a Whirlpool dishwasher for a few years, it cleans great, works great, the dishes come out clean and shiny, so do the glassware. Even pots come out nice and clean, what more can you ask for?

I bought this Cabrio Washing Machine just over a year ago and it never drained water when I was doing towels and bed sheets. Life got in the way, and I managed to run smaller loads in the regular settings. Now, the machine is just over a year old and it will not spin unless I put it on the rinse and spin issue. It takes well over 2 hours to wash a load of laundry. From looking at other reviews, this is a big problem. I would not recommend this washer to anyone. It cost a ton of money and was the worst washing machine I have ever used.

After 7 calls to Whirlpool and 3 service calls, we still have white detergent stains on all our clothes. Today Whirlpool told us we needed to put one item at a time into the machine. Not only that, but pants needed to be loaded waist band up and gently placed; Shirts, collars up; socks toes down, etc. etc. Are these folks at Whirlpool serious?? So today, we called them back - still streaks. The folks at Whirlpool want us to take and send them pictures of our clothes. This is ridiculous.

Whirlpool Cabrio washer - Do not buy this washer. I have never placed a comment on the web before, but after reading about the same problems over and over, there should be a class action suit. The spin cycle will not balance. You have to stand over the washer and readjust the laundry. I called Whirlpool and I was told to unplug unit for 5 mins. This is a $800 washer that lasted about 2 years.

Horrible Customer Experience. After having my Whirlpool side by side with bottom freezer for 5 months it quit cooling (both freezer and refrig portions). This happened on a Saturday evening and Whirlpool was closed until Monday (no emergency service shown on their website for my area). Whirlpool contacted their service agent and they could not come out until Wednesday. Service tech said compressor was bad and had to order new one. Compressor arrived the next day however they could not come back until the following Monday to install. By this time I was without a refrigerator for 9 days. Techs installed new compressor and by Tuesday it quit cooling again! Tech came out the next day and said he thought the problem was the compressor and now says its the evaporator. I had to wait until the next week before they would come and install the new evap. By that time I will be without a refrig/freezer for 16 days. I contacted Whirlpool customer service and talked to several different people and all they would offer me is $50. I will never purchase a Whirlpool product again!

My Duet washer is just 3 years old and has had light use as there are only two people in the household. After just 3 short years the machine stopped working. We were told it needed a controller board and new valves. The cost of the repair was quoted at $733.00. This is far more than we paid for the machine. So we called customer service and at first they thought they could sell us a plan for $350.00 that would cover the repair but it was denied by the supervisor. So zero help, absolutely nothing. Now the backdrop here is that our last Whirlpool (same type) is still in use with our son no repairs in 15 years. Does anyone reading this think we should buy another Whirlpool or recommend it to our Friends and family? I think a Maytag is in our future. Whatever happened to companies standing behind their reputation in America?

Bought this dishwasher (Model No WDF530PAYB3) in 2013. First the plastic latch for the dishwasher detergent door broke. Then, the paint on the face of the door started to bubble, peel, and now is rusting. Next, the heating element broke. Lastly, it started leaked on my wood floor causing damage. 2013-2014 I bought that Dishwasher, Micro-Hood, Stove, Refrigerator, Washer, and Dryer all Whirlpool. All the kitchen appliances were Whirlpool Gold. They would not fix their product. Offered a discount on a new one as if I will ever buy Whirlpool again.

I have a whirlpool water heater. This is the third or 4th time that the upper sensor failure code has come on. Our water heater turns off all the time and we have to fire it back up. In the past few months, it has started pouring water out from the long tube on the side of it anytime we turn it on for more then 10 minutes. The last time we called a plumber, I was trying to get a quote on a tankless water heater. Ive been so fed up with ours and I thought that would be a better route to go. The plumber explained the negative sides to a tankless water heater and explained that our water heater was a really nice, really expensive and fairly newer model. I told him that I had just gotten it about four years ago. He said he could just fix that one. So after looking at it, he acted as if he didnt know what an upper sensor was and told me it was under warranty and that I should call for the parts. Every time we have called for the parts, they send the same box thing on the front of the heater and every time, it doesnt fix it for long before it says the same thing. And now, like I said, the water heater has now added the problem of pouring water out of it. I need help. I dont know what to do. Im tired of not knowing if Ill have hot water or if the water heater is going to pour out water. Im pregnant and worried that if we cant get this fixed Ill continue to have this problem along with having a baby to take care of. Please help.

Bought Cabrio 3 years ago, started getting ul code and f1 code. We leveled machine, but cycle kept getting stuck mid-cycle. Called repair guy, they say it is going to cost between 6 to 800.00 to fix???? Really. Its three bloody years old. Very disappointed. Do I now get it fixed or break down and buy another washer. I would not buy Whirlpool again. Very pissed.UPDATED ON 02/05/2015: We called an appliance repair company and initially paid $440.00. After installing a motherboard computer system, it still did not work. We were then told that the other part would be another $120.00. We were already soaked for $440.00 so we decided to pay. After that was repaired the washing machine was still stalling mid cycle. We were then told that it has something to do with the wiring and it would cost another $120.00-$140.00. Needless to say, we declined. Complained to whirlpool that machine was three years old. We are pissed and $570.00 out of pocket. Just bought a lg front loader and paid for a 5 year warranty!!

Warning to anyone considering this washing machine. It has actually destroyed some of my clothing by twisting and tying legs and arms of pants and shirts tightly together and giving the clothes a beating rather than a reasonably careful washing. Rubbing your clothes on a rock at the bank of some river would be preferable to using this machine. It does not provide enough water to wash clothing without abusing it. I blame myself for assuming that no company would attempt to put a product that performed like this on the market. I bought this machine at hhgregg.

In less than 4 years my dryer had to be fixed twice as well as my washer. The dryer does its job. The washer is one of those HE washers that does not use much water. Clothes do not get clean without much water so I always need to set the washer on bulky to have water to cover the clothes. I wished I had kept my old washer. It worked a lot better.

We contacted Whirlpool different times. I hate this piece of junk refrigerator. But Whirlpool never cared. My husband and I both did 20 years in the Navy active duty and reserves. 20 years each. Do you think we could have gotten some response other than a worthless sorry. To the Whirlpool CEO when you ever get some kind of compassion please us a real refrigerator that works and has some real room in it. I hate this thing and I hate not having an ice maker that works. A french doors refrigerator that really works would be good. Heres our address **. Please leave it on our front porch. Will be holding our breath. Thanks for your support.

Problems from the start with slide-out shelf cracking, evaporator fan burnt out within 2 years, digital display cannot read anymore. Now have another problem again - not cooling. Going to the trash. No wonder your stock price have dropped. I would sell off to. Whirlpool/GE have been going down hill for the last 5 years. Maybe more. Cheap products, do reflect, it just a matter of time, I would think you would address these issues in your product line, but it shows your company is all about profits instead of quality of products. Keep going like you are, and you will be bankrupt. Cheap overpriced and nothing but junk in any products you manufacture.

Bought this model #WTW8500DC from Lowes in 2015. Ever since had problems. Stopping in the middle, not starting, recently keeps running water, lid lock issues, had multiple service calls and multiple hardware changes, paid extra for extended warranty from Whirlpool hoping that within a year all problems would be gone after so many repairs. Boys I was wrong. After spending around $1200 between this machine and the extended warranty, three year later after the warranty expired now I am stuck with this non-functional piece of junk and looking for another washing machine. Would love to hear from Whirlpool if I stumbled upon a lemon, or three year is expected life of their $1000 plus machines.

My Whirlpool electric range has been a nightmare! I bought this thing 5 years ago and I am having it replaced on Saturday! It had a cleaning thing where I put in distilled water and 20 minutes later I could just wipe it out. Not true. I had to use oven off??? Next the oven would not work. Learned if I turned off the power it would reboot itself! The next thing it did was all on its own it turned the temp. from 250 degrees to a full BROIL. The oven now will not heat up to 350 degrees! I just blew $1200.00! On the other hand I did buy a Whirlpool fridge. It has been awesome!

This refrigerator was already part of the appliance package that came with the property. I dont think if I had a choice, I would choose this brand. The stainless steel finish has rust spots, the top shelf has cracked and it is less that 5 years old.

We are having our second major issue with our Whirlpool Refrigerator Model WRF757SDEM but unfortunately at 1-1/2 years old, it is out of warranty. Although the certified repairman says that the issue with the thermostat is a known issue and the company created a whole new part to fix the problem, there is no recall. Customer service was lousy. They deny any know issue (again, they created a new part they will sell us to fix the issue) and they mocked us for not buying their warranty after having the first problems with their fridge. This new problem will cost over $300 to fix. Why is there no recall if they knew about the issue?

My 15 year old front loader quit working and was going to cost more to repair than we thought was worth it. So, we went shopping at Home Depot and based on discussions with salespeople ended up with the Whirlpool cabrio toploader. What a mistake. I am so disgusted with this washer I dont even know where to start. If there was any way we could return it we would do so. The clothes come out wrinkled, twisted, absolutely covered in pet hair and detergent and fabric softener residue. Yes, Im using HE detergent, in the correct amounts. Yes, Ive read the manual front to back. Yes, Ive tried all the troubleshooting suggestions. No, they dont make a damn bit of difference.I would give anything to have my old front loader back. It was a great little machine that did a wonderful job of cleaning our laundry. Pet hair was washed off, I could lay things out to dry and they werent all wrinkly and did not require ironing. Just about everything that comes out of this cabrio machine that I lay to dry needs to be ironed before it can be worn. It is just a horrible, horrible machine and Whirlpool should be ashamed of themselves for foisting this off on unsuspecting consumers.

I love the brand. I just do not care for the lock lid on all the new washers. I could do without it. I do not have kids to worry about getting hurt. Im looking into finding a brand without a lock lid. I just replaced one before this one. For the lid breaking.

Whirlpool stove, product ID WFG540HOES. I purchased a whirlpool gas stove in 2014 for a lake house. Came to my lake house to find the temperature was 90 degrees inside and the oven was running full blast. The oven had turned itself on. Whirlpool appears to be having a problem with this type of issue. Called their customer care department and was transferred to the appliance safety line which was only a line to leave a voicemail. Very bad customer service. My kitchen countertops and kitchen floor will need to be replaced, also cannot get rid of the burnt smell in my house. Do not recommend purchasing Whirlpool appliances.

Purchased washer 8/2015. Washer quit working 12/2015. Would not drain or do anything. Repairman dispatched and came 3 business days later. (They dont work weekends.) Repairman looked at old receptacle cover and immediately stated, Problem with polarity of plug. No prior problems with plug running appliances. Plugged into it for over 8 years. When I advised him of that then he started troubleshooting circuit board. He cleaned out the machine and got it to work. (Still under warranty) 4 days from repair, and machine quits. Same problem. Wont drain and wont do anything. Call for service again on Weds. morning and given following Tues for service call. Online consumer reports complaints #ered at over 1,7000. Same machine, same problems. Call Whirlpool directly, given runaround. Talk to Whirlpool mgr. (Robert) complaint # **. He states, Have to wait for service. But calls Brandt Melb., FL to try to get sooner service. Brandt calls me stating they have ordered a lid lock and CCU board for machine and will be out Monday. My stove has met all my baking and cooking needs. Love the self cleaning oven and I mean it does clean every bit. Always bakes at right temperature. I love it. All my pies and cakes come out perfect and the look of it is just pretty and matches my kitchen.

Oftentimes when we take out the dark loads there is a white line left. It appears to be detergent that does not go into suspension. We are using HD. Just lately we switch to liquid. Question in our minds is if it does not move the water enough to put the detergent in suspension, how in the world is it even cleaning? I do not see the turnover of the clothes. Where is the quality control with this?

It is a top of the line washing machine. I have had it for almost four years. It is the best washing machine I have ever had. I have really enjoyed it, because; I am able to wash my comforters in this washing machine.

We purchased the pair a year ago and its been nothing but headaches. First of all, half the clothes dont even get wet. They say its high efficiency but I dont think theres any efficiency when it doesnt even wash them. Second, when it actually does wash them, it leaves detergent all over the clothes. I purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio on October 27th, 2010. The Cabrio is always giving me the UL code, which indicates the load isnt in balance. Ive been doing laundry for 27 years. I know how to load dirty clothes into a washing machine evenly. Sometimes it will take me all day to do one load of laundry! Seven months after my purchase, my Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine started giving me the F51 error code. I called the phone number on my Lowes receipt for warranty work. Two weeks later, I finally had my washing machine running again. I was happy and thought Id only have to deal with the UL code. Boy was I wrong?!Now Im two weeks away from my warranty expiring. Im getting the F51 error code again! This washing machine is an $800 piece of junk! Hopefully, I can get the Cabrio repaired before my warranty expires in two weeks. I do a lot of laundry. We are a family of six. So, I know Im hard on washing machines but come on. Shouldnt an $800 washing machine last at least two years? Im not even a full year into owning this junky washer and Ive had two breakdowns! In my opinion, this washing machine needs to be recalled and people need a reliable replacement or refund.

Cabrio washer Model # wtw5840bw - I purchased this washer one year ago. It has a defect that comes along with it. You think your clothes are getting clean. But in reality they are not. This washer does not fill enough water to wash a small load of clothes. It has ruined three large bags of my clothes. Stained they smell in general they are not clean. Worst washer I have ever bought. General public Please be aware of this issue if you are going to purchase this washer. It is a big expense to be put out to the curb.

I purchased this range in 2010 and needed to replace the control panel/switch membrane in 2011 and it was covered by the warranty. Then I purchased an extended warranty and needed to replace the same part again. Then I replaced it again in July 2016. This part cost $147 and you cannot operate the oven without it. There is something wrong with the range that is causing the failure and the cause of the failure should have been fixed when it was under warranty but now that it isnt under warranty, Whirlpool has refused to correct the problem or compensate me for the cost to replace the part.

I am very happy with my Whirlpool appliance- oven. Ive had it for almost 5 years, with hardly any issues. -Its very user-friendly when I need to program any cooking instructions. Both the elements & the actual oven cook everything to a perfect.

I purchased my range, model #WEG730H0DW0 in April 2016. I am extremely dissatisfied with the product and the Whirlpool service. I guess its comforting to know that Im not alone. Ive had two problems so far. The first is with the broiler that clicks on and off. It took several visits and a new electrical board for the service person and me to figure out that the door has to be closed to broil. Not sure about all of you but I am used to keeping the door cracked open to be able to keep an eye on the food being broiled. Apparently there is a thermostat at the front of the oven designed to keep the electrical controls from getting overheated or from melting so when the door is cracked open the heat from the broiler hits that thermostat and the broiler is shut off.The people at Whirlpool are awful and rude. I made so many calls and described the problem in so many ways and not one person knew about this newly placed thermostat or thought to ask about keeping the door closed. It took me and my service tech over an hour of troubleshooting on his SECOND visit to figure it out. He looked up the specs and we figured it out. I wonder how many new electrical boards have been replaced when the solution is as simple as keeping the door closed. A stupid design. Also having the same problems with the knobs. They turn so easily that twice I have smelled gas and realized one of the knobs was turned ever so slightly (before the clicking sound to ignite the stove).Then the third time could have been deadly. I had friends come pick me up and we stood in the kitchen for a bit before we left for the entire day. When we returned the whole house smelled of gas. Someone inadvertently must have brushed up against the stove and the knob turned. My dog, thankfully is still alive and so are we. THIS IS NOT ONLY A STUPID DESIGN BUT A POTENTIALLY DEADLY ONE!! I am forwarding this message directly to Whirlpool in the hopes of getting my money back. I am replacing the range immediately and will never purchase a Whirlpool product again!

The Whirlpool washer and dryer I bought new four years ago has been nothing but a giant on-going headache. No end to the error codes for washing machine. The dryer knobs broke off after two years. The washing machine works only when it feels like it, and important pieces that get a lot of wear are made of plastic. I will never buy Whirlpool again. Ever. Good luck to anyone that is brave enough to buy Whirlpool appliances. I have to say it again: Whirlpool is garbage, junk and unreliable.

I bought this piece of junk heater (serial no. 0804T411536) from Lowes and had their contract plumber install it in or about 2008. Since that time, I have had nothing but trouble with it. It just doesnt stay lit. Every plumber who works on it tells me that they have numerous problems with them and they cannot repair them - the customer has to get the part from Whirlpool. And today the woman I talked to told me that I had to pay the shipping charges, which vary according to how quickly one wants hot water! I personally find that a true rip off. If you cant guarantee the product you put on the market, then dont put it out there. I will never buy another Whirlpool appliance or shop at Lowes!

First F1 symbol on washer took 6 months to resolve. All we needed was new motherboard and couldnt mail it to us even though we could replace. It had to be an authorized person. Well we had one and they never put him in the system. Finally got that taken care of, 6 months of having to press pause and restart 5 times just to do one load. Arrrrrggggghhhh! Now water leaking out the bottom. Called again, on hold, then on hold again to be transferred to tech support. Yeah, right. No tech support. Talked to management, they could care less about us even though we have other products from them. Dont buy, they are lemons. We had ropes for 15 years and lasted through everything. Thanks Whirlpool, heres to losing a customer!!!!

We bought a Whirlpool washing machine two years ago and bought the extended warranty. The machine quit working so we called the warranty service number. We have had a repair man sent here 5 times from them. The technicians have put two new control boards and a new door lock on it. They have another part ordered for this week.The machine is still not working after five visits from service technicians and they say they cant fix it. The extended warranty service plan says if it cant be fixed they will replace it or send us a check for it. We have contacted them several times and they dont want to make good on it. So we have a broke down washing machine and have to go to a Laundromat every week.

We purchase a Whirlpool washer model # WTW5000DWI, SERIAL #C842 43102 ON 10/30/2019 and it has been nothing but a disappointment. We are senior citizens living on a very limit income with several health problems, and cannot go to a washeteria to wash our clothes. We had a washer that lasted over 19 years and when the motor failed I figured it was more practical to purchase a new washer versus repairing this old one. We had a very reputable Whirlpool dealer here and was very helpful and recommended this washer and the price was in our budget! Was that a big mistake, it does not clean the clothes, does not rinse the clothes with using the 2 rinse cycle and still, does not rinse a load of sheets. I bought a large capacity washer so we could wash 2 sheets at a time. Wrong! You cannot get more than a couple inch of water on the Deepwater cycle, so its like washing clothes on a riverbank on rocks, it rubs clothes together. On my wifes good clothes it will cause little balls of fabrics on them, clothes does not smell clean, and if its real dirty clothes, it will not clean or take the stains out. Its water efficient alright, it does not use any water!Its for sale, and I have talked to a lawyer. Whirlpool customer service was no help at all/All they want was to send a dealer to check it out, the only problem if there is nothing wrong with it that will cost me min. of $125.00. Warranty will cover a manufacturing defect, not a design problem which is what this is. I will just go to small claims courts and get my money back and be done with Whirlpool, hell they dont care! I would buy any washer that is cheaper and has an agitator, without a water efficient features and is top loaded model. It does not pay in this world where large manufacturing companies dont care.

Its a 25 side by side and though its a large refrigerator it seems small inside. That being said I would probably not buy a side by side again. I have always bought Whirlpool made appliances and have been always satisfied. I do not like refrigerators with the freezers on top.

I purchased this washer about 3 years ago to replace a dishwasher which lasted 20 years. Within a year the racks began to rot, the front panel plastic started to peel off. Within two years half of the racks rods completely rotted away. 3 years later the washer is busted - most likely pump which was probably blocked by one of the pieces of the rack rods. I am replacing it with Bosch - German engineering. Needless to say I will NEVER buy a Whirlpool - formerly reputable company again. Good-riddance Whirlpool.

I purchased Whirlpool electric hot water tank in May 2011 (model no. EEZ80HD055V). The water tank was working fine for four months. It does not work anymore. I tried to get a hold of Whirlpool customer service. But I couldn’t get a hold of customer service at 877-817-6750. It is motel business without hot water. We could not open the business. We tried the best we could, but there is no contact or support from Lowes or Whirlpool. We have no other choice other than replace the hot water tank. We tried to find the right phone number to explain the situation to Whirlpool customer service rep.

I want to make this clear I’d give NO stars if I could!! Whirlpool is totally junk!! I bought a whole suite of Whirlpool kitchen appliances from Home Depot that is a dishwasher, stove, and fridge. The dishwasher never cleaned the dishes, always left a film on everything, cant clean out the drain area, the screens don’t come off and less a year later the dishwasher top rack literally fell off and broke all the glasses that were loaded in it and the fridge keeps freezing all my food!!! I keep having to adjust the thermostat up down up down just to make it doesn’t freeze. Now that the warranty is no good on any of the crap I will no doubt be charged an arm and a leg to get it fixed, which definitely won’t be worth it!!! Whirlpool is such crap!!! Made in America no wonder!!! Don’t buy any whirlpool anything!!! You will be very VERY disappointed!!! I’ve bought plenty of brand new appliances. When I purchased my Whirlpool Cabrio washer and dry, I was told by the sales associate that this was the top of the line. I paid a higher price for what I thought was quality only to find out that this washing machine (WTW6600SW2) Serial number CU2973872 is in fact poor quality, made of components that are cheap, unreliable and made to last only as long as the initial warranty. Prior to buying Whirlpool, I owned Kenmore and had a washer and dry that raised four kids, now I own a Top of the line Cabrio that cant wash the clothes of two adults. I think it is funny that two days after the washer started sounding like a jet plane taking off during the spin cycle, I received your sign up for an extended warranty letter. Then I take the washer apart to locate the trouble and find it is a single bearing on the top of the drive shaft, but can I buy the bearing and replace it? No, I have to buy the entire outer tub and drive shaft. So a $10.00 bearing will now cost me $200.00. I am sure that helps your profit margins considering all you have to do is a search for Cabrio problems to find 350,000 hits, or to ask a professional technician and receive the reply that they are replacing 2-3 of these tub and drive shafts per week. I would recommend that Whirlpool tell its shareholders that you have compromised customer satisfaction to line their pockets with profits. If that was your intent then you have succeeded, however you need to also tell them to sell their shares now as you will have no return customers. Most corporations have core values that deal with safety first and then always followed by quality. I can say with confidence that your quality can be nowhere near the top five with this many problems with your top of the line product.

We hate the matching Cabrio washer dryer bought in 2011: Dryer lower blower went out after 18 months in service. The day it went out whirlpool sent me the extended warranty offer. Warranty had expired 6 months prior. I renewed for 12 months and promptly called for a repair. Cost was approximately $450.00, all covered under the newly paid for warranty. I dodged a bullet there. Washer has the splintering fiberglass around the top. Lower bearing is out and sounds like a freight train coming out of the laundry room. Not going to have it repaired. Looking for new units not manufactured by whirlpool. Shameful ROI. No more whirlpool products in our house.

Whirlpool Gas Range WFG540H0es - Purchased 2 months ago. After 2 weeks there was a spill. The black burner caps are powder coated. After cooling we washed it with dish detergent & a sponge. The powder coating came off. Called the company. They replaced burner caps. Last week there was a spill and it stained the burner bases which are powder coated in a silver color. We tried 409 cleaner, Windex, dish detergent with a sponge. Could NOT get the stain out started removing powder coating. Called the company they ONLY guarantee cosmetic appearance 30 days. They wanted $139.00 for a new set of burner bases. I am going to go back to Lowes & see if we can return this Whirlpool range.

I have never had such a horrible experience in my life as I have with Whirlpool. Refrigerator ($2,500) broke within three months, and then broke again another two months later and hasn’t worked right since. They have the most horrible customer service, parts are on back order, I’ve had to throw away hundreds of dollars worth of food because everything keeps freezing but they do not care. Ice machine has been broken for over a month for the second time. They are the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Buyer beware. Do not buy anything from this company. Their products are the worst and they have zero customer service. Good luck if you buy something and it breaks. You might as well just buy a completely new appliance.

Very disappointed with this refrigerator. Not even 10 years old and we have had it repaired 2 times plus my husband had to dismantle ice maker and take the back off inside of the freezer, using the blow dryer to thaw out the tube and manually blow in a tube to open the drain. The water leaking to the bottom of the fridge and into cold meat drawer and fruit keeper drawer. It eventually runs onto the floor if I dont catch it. This has been an ongoing problem for 6 years now. Today was another bill to the repairman for this problem. Very disgusted. This time he only thawed it out, the time before he replaced a part and thawed it out. I know he will be back because thawing is only a temporary fix because my husband did this numerous times, like every couple of months. Never again will I buy a Whirlpool refrigerator! I gave my daughter my old refrigerator and its over 20 years old and never had a repair! My current refrigerator is Model # ETICHMXKB03 with ice maker. Top freezer.

Purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washer with the glass lid. This is not a good washer to buy! The clothes do not get clean. Have to set it to bulk to get enough water to even cover clothes. Biggest issue is the lid. I have had to order a new one as it cracked on both sides back by control panel. I took the old lid off and discovered why the lid cracked. I have read many complaints about this same issue and everyone said Whirlpool would do nothing about it or even acknowledge there was a problem.Here is the problem. On each side there is a spring to hold the lid up while in the open position. The lid is plastic. When I tried to push those lid pins down with the lid off they would not go down. The springs are too strong for the plastic. When the lid is down the springs are trying to hold the lid up, so they are pushing against the plastic. Given time the springs win out against the plastic and the lid cracks and breaks. I am just a simple housewife and I figured this out! I hope that every manufacturer that is making glass top lids STOPS making them out of plastic, uses metal instead, uses a spring that is not as strong, or foregoes the current design and comes up with something that is better. It is for certain that I will never buy another Whirlpool appliance!

My old 25 yr old Whirlpool died and was shopping for a new one. I saw the Cabrio and was really impressed by the features and large capacity interior. I can say that I thought my clothes were getting clean until I looked closely. I have never been so disappointed with this washer. I wish I had my old one back! Clothes arent clean, they are so twisted when I take them out and theres a horrible smell, like oil burning when it runs. The machine would fill up and when it would start to wash, it wouldnt, it would stop. And a loud humming noise was coming from the back.I shut it off and turned it back on and it wouldnt clear. I had to unplug it and plug it back in to clear it and start over. The bearings are gone now and I was going to have a repairman come and look at it, but now I wont bother! After reading everyones comments this Cabrio is a piece of junk and Im sorry I ever bought it! So now Ill be shopping for a new one tomorrow with an agitator!!! Im not impressed with the HE appliances!!! Ive owned this POS for not quite 6 yrs. Expensive to purchase and I will not recommend Whirlpool to anyone! I have been noticing my husbands shirts as well as my clothes continue to get what are spots of bleach and I do not use bleach on anything other than whites. This has been going on for quite some time and I noticed this morning another outfit is RUINED because of bleach spots. I decided to look up on the internet if this is a problem with this machine - AND IT IS! I am so disappointed I could cry. The clothes I have are donated to me. All my clothes are hand-me-downs - and my Whirlpool washing machine is ruining all my clothes and my husbands.

Chris from Whirlpool contacted me the same day that I filed my complaint. He offered to replace our water heater at no charge. We will pick up our new water heater this weekend and install it. Hopefully, it is designed better than our current water heater.

We bought our washer, dryer, stove, microwave, and dishwasher in September of 2010. In 3 years we have had to replace our Whirlpool over the stove venting microwave, have spent over $550.00 on repairs on the Whirlpool refrigerator, and now have to replace our Whirlpool Cabrio washer. This of course does not include our time, effort & frustrations, especially with Whirlpool customer service. Will NEVER buy Whirlpool again. Were all for a class action lawsuit.

I got a BRAND NEW Whirlpool from Habitat for Humanity. I registered it as a new product and was told it came from Lowes. Habitat only warranted it for 30 days but when it went out in 60 days, I called on the warranty. They sent out a repairman who said it was unfixable and after 2 weeks waiting to hear from them, Whirlpool said they would not honor the warranty because the serviceman said it had been dropped. I am a disabled senior citizen, I guarantee you I couldnt lift it long enough to drop it. Habitat said they didnt drop it and so did Lowes. Meanwhile, Whirlpool had the nerve to send me an extended warranty for the same refrigerator that they wouldnt honor the original warranty and they treated me like I was just trying to cheat them or something. The only thing I can do now is put it out in my driveway with a big sign on it to warn others NOT to buy Whirlpool products. Big deal.

The front of the stove gets so hot you can burn yourself and I feel it is not safe around small children or grandchildren, and it should addressed to fix the problem not just cover it up. Please give me the info to fix the problem before I have to sue over my grandchildren and great children getting burned.

Paid $1,500.00, freezer still works but lower box stopped exactly 7yrs after manufacturing date and purchase. A lot of $ to pay for a refrigerator that costs more to repair than large purchase price. I am extremely upset with this situation and brand.

Problematic... constantly out of balance... and will Not spin out due to this.. Sensors are very sensitive... have to unload and reload.. Most times have to wring out by hand.. Definitely a defect of these machines.

I have a refrigerator model wrs325fdam. Its not a year old and I cant believe the runaround that I am getting from Whirlpool customer service. Come one day everything in freezer melting. Call a repair person. He come out, diagnose the problems, orders $825 worth of parts for a $899 refrigerator, puts the parts in. On the temperature in the freezer reads 80 degrees. No its order $200 more parts for this scrap metal pile. At what point do the people give a damn at the consumer, its not like anybody has common sense. Im going on two weeks without a ten-month-old refrigerator and four days waiting for them to figure this out. Would not recommend Whirlpool to anyone who cares about fair treatment.

We purchased a Whirlpool Gold French Door refrigerator with a bottom freezer in Dec 2009. We discovered a leak dripping onto the finished basement ceiling. We discovered after several attempts that the plastic evaporation tray was broken (since day one). Previous defrosting had obviously evaporated into the hardwood until now. This item, although obviously broken when installed, was not fixed as the warranty had run out.Boo to Corbiel and to Whirlpool. They are financially not worth a lawsuit.

Thank you Michael of Castleton, NY, for the posting about re-setting the microwave when it stops heating. Even if I have to do it once a month, it beats having to go out and get another one. And when that day inevitably arrives, guess which brand Im steering clear of?

We purchased a Whirlpool French Door Refrigerator WRF989SDAHOO less than two years ago. The refrigerator runs constantly and has gotten louder by the day. It is so loud you can hear it when you are in another room. The temperature on the refrigerator is too cold and freezes fruit when I put it in. I contact Whirlpool online and they said it seems fine to them and also there is no temperature control that I can change myself. I am afraid I am going to come home one day to a dead refrigerator and spoiled food. I was not happy with their response and I WOULD NOT PURCHASE this again. The other problem is, we bought as a set, matching stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. So if I have to get a new fridge it wont match.

I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator at Lowes after my 16-month-old $4000 Samsung died and Samsung didnt care. I thought I was purchasing a better product. Six months old and the Whirlpool died. Service tech came out, said he had to order parts. That was on 1/21/2020. It is now 3/5/2020 and I still have no refrigerator. After being told week after week after week that I had to wait for parts, 3 weeks ago they finally approved a replacement refrigerator. STILL WAITING FOR THAT. Have completely lost confidence in Whirlpool and would not recommend the brand to anyone. Lousy customer service and lousy product. So disappointed. No reimbursement offer for lost food, weeks of having to purchase take out, gas to store daily... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

My 79 year old grandmother hasnt used her Whirlpool washer in 5 months because of defects that Whirlpool USA thinks they are going to fix. Really??? How long is she going to go without being able to use her washer that she bought from your company? Is it going to take a year? 5 months!!!! I should be billing you for all of the out service of laundry we are having to pay for because of this inconvenience. I have never experienced worse customer service and more of a waste of my time and my dad’s time. I hate posting this but the only other option is therapy for my family from dealing with this insane issue.

I have had this refrigerator for over 25 years and cant ask for anything better than that. Would buy another Whirlpool refrigerator. Has original french doors at top and bottom door on freezer. However, I dont particularly like the pull out drawer that the new refrigerators have now as I get so much more room with a door. The new refrigerators have improved rubber around the doors. That is the only thing I had to replace on this refrigerator.

Purchased my Whirlpool dishwasher in 2005 model number GU2500XTPQ3. So it worked for about 10 years and I am fairly happy with that but I have a warning, my control panel shorted out putting out thick black smoke and I was unable to turn off the dishwasher. I had to turn off the switch at the breaker box. If my wife had of been the only one home she would not have known how to turn it off and would have had to call the fire department. I dont know if the short would have led to an actual fire but with that much heat I have to believe it would have. Warning, dont run the dishwasher when no one is home. Hope this helps someone.

Purchased a Whirlpool double oven (WGE745COFH) in September 2018. It is now May 2019. After 5 service technicians verified the erratic temperature fluctuations in the ovens, Whirlpool insists that a +25 degree to -25 degree fluctuation in a heating cycle is normal. The motherboard was changed 3 times, and the sensors were changed 3 times, including hard-wiring the last set of sensors. I called Whirlpool and customer service says that is normal. Ever tried baking at a 350 degree setting that fluctuates from 375 degrees down to 312 degrees while trying to maintain a 350 degree setting? I understand there has to be some fluctuation, but either it took a lot of extra time or burned my food consistently. Ridiculous.So, with the help of wonderful people at Lowes (where I purchased the double oven) Whirlpool is refunding my money and Lowes has taken back the slide-in double oven. In my quest to replace it, multiple appliance sellers have told me that all the new ovens having motherboards and sensors have big fluctuations in the oven heating cycles. I find that unacceptable. My husband and other family members have worked daily in an industry where temperatures were critical. They used ovens that could maintain temperature within 5 degrees of set temperature with analog controls. The home consumers are being ripped off with cheap, sub-standard parts making throw away appliances and getting away with it. What do I buy? Havent figured that out yet, but have purchased a countertop toaster oven that bakes beautifully.

We bought Cabrio washer & dryer a year & half ago, and I hate, hate, hate the washing machine. Every load, it goes off balance. And you have to stop your other work, unlock & wait awhile on that, and rearrange your load of clothes. I called the repairman when I first had it, and he said, Oh yeah that happens, nothings wrong. OMG! How I wish I had returned it. If you dont rearrange the load when the cycle is done, your clothes are still soaked. So you have to re-drain & spin. Total waste of money & a lot of my time. Very very dissatisfied and will never buy another Whirlpool product.

I just want to say that this washer is indeed a colossal waste of money. I bought an HE machine thinking Id be environmentally responsible, but the amount of times I have to re-rinse clothes negates that. Whats worse is that clothes come out dirtier than when they go in. Thats right--just put a brand new set of sheets in the washer and when they came out, there were dissolved detergent marks and gray, linty patches all over them (this using warm water and a soft gel detergent)--resembling dirt you might get from hanging clothes on a mildew clothes line. I cant tell you how many times I need to re-run the drain and spin cycle. This wastes time, water and quality of life. Id try to re-sell it on Craigslist but wouldnt want to subject anyone else to it--not fair even at $100!Updated on 02/23/2015I wrote a review in September 2014 on the Whirlpool cabrio model WTW5600XWO. To update the community on my recent customer service experience with Whirlpool: I wrote them a letter a few weeks ago stating that I dont expect them to follow up but wanted to let them know I would be buying Bosh products from now on and reiterating my anger at needing to miracle brush any dark piece of clothing after it goes through the cabrio. My letter specifically said I did not expect customer resolution but wanted to express what a rotten product they produced and marketed. They called back leaving a message to the effect: We apologize want to help you but need to speak in person. Please call [toll free number] and have your make and serial numbers available. I called back, and after waiting on hold for 10 mins., the rep took my model and serial numbers, said, Oh I see your letter. Please give me a moment to review it. Then I was told there was nothing she could do. I do apologize for your frustration. I couldnt BELIEVE they would bother contacting me only to make me go through that charade-- They are PATHETIC! I say boycott the company! Well, I certainly will.

I bought a Whirlpool washing machine last year. Exactly after one year the bearing problem and noise starts from it. So I do not recommend this machine to anybody because of this bad experience and also high service cost.
