Do not recommend any top loader. The washer dont wash at all. My clothes just sits there floating in the water on deep fill. I have some white with metallic like marks. Ive have soap left in my clothes. I watched one load of clothes. It had a neon shirt, the shirt stayed on top with the bubbles, it just floated along around in circles. The service was crap too. I called about the metallic markings. They said it was normal and should go away after 15 - 20 loads. I cant afford to replace my clothes.

I purchased a front load washer over 2 year ago and the bearing on it has gone bad. Maytag jumped at offering to ship the parts to me at no cost (which at the time I thought was great). I waited 3 months to finally get the part, because it was on back order, and now was just hit with the labor bill! If I would have known a brand new washer was going to go bad after 2 years and cost me over $500 to repair, I would have gone with another brand, In fact, I will never buy a Maytag or Whirlpool. I will ensure that I tell everyone and post comments all over the website about how ** of a product Maytag/Whirlpool produces. Companies like these give the U.S. a bad name! Maytag, you suck!

We bought a new Maytag Bravo washing machine last spring. It was easy to understand the instructions, but that is all that was good about it. Like everyone is saying. It doesnt wash the clothes completely. On every dark load I have what looks like streaks of lint. I contacted Maytag. They gave me suggestions for solutions. None of them worked. I have put the clothes on for a second rinse and spin and it got out some of the lint. Also. they are evidently spun so hard in the washer, after they come out of the dryer they are a wrinkled mess. All the wash and wear, which is almost everything we own, is wrinkled. I have to iron every item. Never again a Maytag for us. If there is a class action suit, I want in on it.

It was alright for a while. Then it started ripping up my clothes. The machine is not overloaded, enough water has been added but, when I take the clothes out they are torn. Not a good experience. I have seen several reviews on the Centennials, none of them good. What is the problem. I am hoping my experience gets resolved.

I bought my Maytag about 3 years ago. Have had continuous problems and now the whole barrel has broke and dropped down. I was treated with disrespect from the repair man and will never buy another Maytag washer.

I live in Southern Indiana and bought my appliance from Charlie Wilsons for 25 years. 3 years ago my Whirlpool washer quit filling up to full level. I decided to move it over and use for my car and pet towels. When I bought my hose in March 1999 every appliance was Whirlpool washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher. GE is made in Louisville, KY but I dislike the union.Anyway I bought a Maytag model MVWC415EW1 June 2017. Recently it started making a grinding noise when going in spin cycle, wadding cloths up and leaking black water on basement floor. Called repair shop out. I just do not have the time to repair stuff anymore. They came out $80.00 service call and tell me at least $300.00 to repair. Wait a minute. $500.00 to buy a new one over $300.00 to repair. Guess what I did? I called Maytag and complained. CASE NUMBER **. They reviewed and denied. Not a problem. I said, I guess you do not need me as a customer anymore.I have twenty year old Whirlpool washer and dryer still running, I have replaced my refrigerator (Old one in garage still running a colder than new fridge and day of the week). Bought Amana=Whirlpool and it has quit and replaced with a Whirlpool July 2019. Nothing is built like it used to be BUT we still pay as much if not more. Off I go to Charlie Wilsons to buy a $1000.00 Speed Queen washer with 7 years parts and labor warranty. Had to order it but old washer still running just not going to full mark.

Freezer leaks water all over the kitchen floor in front of this $1900 piece of garbage. My husband disconnected the water line (for in-door water and ice cube dispenser) and it STILL leaks water. I can vaguely remember a time when the purchase of a refrigerator (manufactured in the USA) wasnt necessary more than once or twice in the average persons lifetime. This Maytag refrigerator is our second french door fridge in 5 years. The last one was an LG that had a shoddily designed and manufactured compressor that sounded like a diesel engine idling in our kitchen. Of the two, this one is equally defective but doesnt wake the dead when the compressor starts.It has become glaringly apparent the Chinese practice something I refer to as Cargo Cult manufacturing. Google Cargo Cult and youll understand what I mean. Briefly, they manufacture products that APPEAR to be refrigerators, washing machines, ranges, etc. However, lack of quality control and zero competition from companies that provide a well-made, quality product that lasts more than a year or two allows and encourages these slobs to continue pumping out what appear to be appliances until the consumer plugs them in. Thats when the fun begins.

I have done widespread reading and realize that the front panel flashing and a clanging noise coming from the fridge, as well as it not cooling or freezing or the water dispenser not working, is a common issue. My extended warranty had run out, and as I rely on the fridge given Im insulin-diabetic and have meds to store, I phoned Maytag to see if they would help regarding the part. No joy. It means that as I cannot to pay a repairman hundreds of dollars to repair it, I have to order the HV board myself and will attempt to fix it. I am hugely disillusioned with Maytag and would never recommend it to anyone.

WORST MACHINE EVER! Besides the soap scum Maytag Bravos XL Washer leaves on all of our jeans and my husbands work pants, the machine decides when it wants to work and when it does not want to work. Weve had repairmen over, we have called the 800 numbers, just like all of the other reviews on here. Ive readjusted clothes in that thing more than Ive done laundry in my life!!! I HATE this machine. Ive memorized the manual from reading it so many times, have the correct detergents, tried washing large loads, small loads, lined up the clothes around the outside so the middle thingie is not covered, thrown clothes loosely in there. Every way possible. The machine senses, starts filling, then just stops. Today, no matter what I do with the load in there, it will NOT run, it keeps shutting itself down and I do not even know what else to do. NEVER EVER EVER buy this machine! We will never own another Maytag EVER.

I had a 30 year old Kenmore large capacity washer that finally gave out. I began a lot of research on who makes the best washing machine now. I used Consumer Reports, appliance websites with reviews and finally decided on the Cabrio. Let me say, I had no idea that I would be able to add extra clothes to the wash load and come out with clean clothes every time. I am amazed at how they are practically dry when the cycle is complete. I do have to run a cleaner through my machine after so many washes, but it is so much more efficient than my old Kenmore was. I cannot complain about it though. It lasted 30 years and that is unheard of now.

Buyer Beware!! Purchased my Maytag over the range microwave in May of 2014. It has a manufacture date of Feb. 2014, and it is now Sept. 2014. It is a very nice looking unit but a bit oversized. My handyman that installed it had to raise my cabinets above my stove two inches to avoid it being too close to the range. The motor is pretty loud and It often times does not heat evenly. The light on the unit that shines down on the range is not much better than the power of a night light which is a bit disappointing considering it looks like a higher end unit, and down to the reason I am writing this review today is that for the first time I went to change the bulb. I unscrewed the the light cover which is placed awkwardly toward the very very back of the unit, only to find that when I went to twist out the burnt out bulb (that has been in there since I purchased the unit) that the bulb broke off after hearing what sounded like the break of a seal of glue, and the bottom aluminum piece of the bulb is stuck in the bulb socket. I found that the bulb is placed in an awkward place behind the light cover. Instead of the bulb facing to the left or the right or to the front of the unit it is facing toward the back which is making the bulb socket impossible to see, which means that in order to screw in the bulb you are screwing it in from an angle that you cannot see unless you climb on the range and lay on your back, or get a mirror to help see where you are screwing in the bulb. This is just a very awkward and unpractical design coming from such a well known company with such a common and ordinary product. Now I am sitting here writing this review and I am trying to figure out how I can remove that little piece of aluminum stuck in the light bulb socket and since it is not facing to the left or right and facing toward the back, it leaves me about less than 1/2 space to work with using my hand or a tool to remove that piece, or I can just leave my broken bulb piece in there and screw the cover back on until I call service for Maytag. I believe it is still under warranty but from others experience that I have read about I am not feeling confident I will receive great service or a desirable outcome. Wish me the best!! I bought my microwave in Nov of 2015. We began having problems in April 2017. When you cook or warm something up it gets hot. The light wont come on and the display continues to say open/close door. After about 4 hours of cool down time it may or may not restart. After contacting Maytag I was told I should have purchased the warranty. They also informed me that they do not have repairman in my area. We have just replaced all appliances with Maytag so now I am concerned they are all junk. We did buy warranties on the major appliances, but how will they repair with no repairman in my area. Maytag used to be the best appliances but after this experience and now I have a broken microwave after only a year and a half that they dont stand behind, I will never purchase any Maytag again. It also seems that this is not the only issue they are having with their microwaves. I have contacted my Lowes where we purchased and they even made a Maytag call with no results. Maybe the suppliers should stop promoting and selling their items. We replaced a 22 yr old Kenmore microwave that was still working thats why this is so heart breaking. Stand behind your products. No wonder you dont have repairman. They would never get a day off from repairing your junk.

Have had nothing but trouble with this fridge! Ice forms at bottom of freezer with frost all over top shelf. Ice maker no longer works. 3 years old for goodness sake. Had repairman replaced all lines, and still have the problem. Heard you have to unplug fridge for 24 hours to solve problem EVERY 2 Months! I Guess the Maytag repairman stays lonely because they dont stand behind their product! Hate it!!

This is just a heads up to anyone thinking about purchasing the front loading Maytag Neptune washer and dryer. We spent $1900.00 on these machines and have had nothing but trouble from them. I will never purchase a Maytag or now, Whirlpool appliance again. As to the rating above, if I could post negative 150 stars I would. I have spent as much in repairs as the new dryer cost.

I read some of the reviews on the Maytag ovens. I too have the same problems! Have had control panel replaced and still have to set at 400 if I need to bake at 350. It also takes forever to preheat. Trust this review because I am one very unhappy consumer!! DO NOT buy Maytag!!

Purchased dishwasher Mod # MDB7749SBM1 thinking it was Maytag (lonely repairman) in June 2013 from Home Depot. Cost new over $1,000. As of March 2016, three service calls, two of which required replacement of the control panel. Now the control panel has failed a third time and we are told by Whirlpool (parent company of Maytag dishwashers) they will not cover the repair. They have offered a discount for a new dishwasher. Since that did not seem like a very good option to me, they offered to let me pay for current service plus a year for over $350.00. I was sad to discover that they are the manufacturer of most dishwashers available at your local home store dealer (Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Roper, Amana). VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!

I have a Model MBF 1958XES4 which I bought from Home Depot in June of 2012. It has leaked repeatedly onto my wood floor. The water also collects and freezes on the floor of the freezer. I already have warped floor boards as a result. I just got it fixed. The repair person said he has done over 200 of these repairs in the last year. He also said Maytag knows its a defect and has supplied them with replacement parts. The company apparently tells its repair companies not to discuss this with their customers. I have yet to contact Maytag, although apparently from others experiences that will be futile. Im willing to join others in pursuing this. I had a 40 year old Kelvinator which was still working well which I replaced with this refrigerator when I redid my kitchen.

I have always loved Maytag but this top load washer is a bust. I purchased this higher dollar energy efficient washing machine to hopefully get the value out of it for years to come. Model MVWC565F. 4.2 Cu Ft. I use good quality liquid laundry detergent. I launder adult clothing (including business casual wear), sheets, towels and pet blankets. Occasionally the 20+ something children do their laundry while home. I often have dry spots on my clothes where they never got actually wet. I switched to only using the deep water cycle; however, this does not immerse the load in water. The smaller my load the less likely to get clean. Ive adapted to only have large loads but I still do not feel my clothes are getting clean. I often have to run the load a second time to not only remove ordinary day-of-wearing smells (very noticeable in socks for example) but to get them all wet and free of soapy/linty-like spots left on the clothes from the washer (most notable on black leggings, dress pants, etc). I always do my towels and bedding separate from daily clothing, so this is not coming from having a mixed load. I have also noticed that the load takes much longer (up to 2 hours) for my washing cycle. How is this energy efficient? It uses less water but more electricity? I miss my old fully-immerse-in-water washing machine that washed in under an hour! Love the dry that I bought with this but not the washing machine!! I do not recommend this washing machine!!

We purchased a Maytag Dryer with the lint vent on top on March 21, 2014 from ABC Warehouse in Ann Arbor, MI. Whoever engineered this does not dry clothes. Trust me, this will be the last Maytag I buy. There is lint seeping out of the top and when you clean it the lint gets all over the place therefore, my laundry room is always full of dust.

I have been trying to get my refrigerator repaired for over 5 months through the extended service plan I paid for. They sent out a service repairman. He could not repair the refrigerator without some parts so he ordered parts. We waited months to find out he can not get the part anymore that he ordered. So now Maytag Extended Plans and Service Power said they would have to replace the whole refrigerator but every time I call about it, they give me the runaround and say someone will be calling me back within 48 hours.I never get a call back. I give them a few days, then I call back and get the same runaround again. Im getting nowhere with these people. My refrigerator is a $6,500 refrigerator that Im sure they just dont want to replace or offer me anything for that matter. They should abide by the contract I have with them.

Buy this washer! It has the best features! No matter what the setting, your clothes will come out as dirty as you put them in, only with even more odor! I just cannot believe how many different settings they managed to program into this washer, each one delivering the same miserable results. I am so happy that I spent so much money on a washing machine, that in some cases, doesnt even get my clothes wet. Truly amazing technology!

Our Maytag Bravos is 4 years old. Settings are preset at the factory. Besides the glitches others have written, the hot water sensor INSIDE the machine has gone out. This means - no clothes can be washed on the hot setting, and the warm setting gives only lukewarm water. I have had more than one plumber look at the machine, and the consensus is...the internal sensor needs replacement. However, this machine being only 48 months old, I am debating whether or not just to buy a new machine. This is a HE washer, and I am very disappointed in its performance. This is the worst Maytag machine I have ever owned.

I purchased my Bravos (ecoconserve) washing machine in 8/2013 from hhgreg. The problem I have is this grinding noise with the spin cycle. So I unplug the machine because the lock lid light is flashing and wont unlock unless I unplug the machine. I grew up on Maytag so that was the reason I purchased this machine but never again. I am so disappointed in this product. :(

Warranty dept. will not help you! I have been told by technicians sent to service my refrigerator after it spoiled food multiple times from not staying cold. The technician flat out told me that this refrigerator cannot be fixed but they are not allowed to say that it cannot be fixed. They will not return your calls and are just flat out rude. After asking to escalate a call, the rep said the manager will call me right back in a few minutes. Hours went by and I called again five minutes before they closed to speak to someone in management at that moment. This manager told me with no hesitation that they dont always believe what their technicians say because they send out techs that are good, okay, and not good. My first question is why is Maytag confident in the people they are sending to my house time and time again that stay for three hours?! She began to get rude and disrespectful and said, Well, if you had cancer, you wouldnt believe the first thing they say... I am in awe of these remarks. How do you compare a refrigerator to cancer?! I asked for a business address and stated that I would like the address to file with the Better Business Bureau and she told me that they have all the info I need. She refused to let me speak to anyone else. This situation is uncalled for when I have the technician telling me, This refrigerator is not repairable but they wont allow me to say that and Maytag will not make this an easy process for you. Unbelievable!

Ive had my Maytag oven for about 5 years and the oven and burners are still working perfectly. The problem is the light bulbs. One of the light bulbs has a rickety connection because I have to keep twisting the bulb every time I turn it on to keep the light on. My other light bulb burned out and Im not replacing it because Im concerned the problem is in the electrical part where I screw it in, not the bulb itself, so Im leaving it off and am using the other annoying bulb and I installed a lamp under the counter to compensate for the missing light from the other stove bulb. The most important part of the oven are the cooking features so even though the bulb situation is annoying, it cooking features perform well.

I have called numerous times and the satisfaction is out the window. The MOLD is so bad on the gasket that I can not get it off and it just keeps getting worse. My clothes smell musty even after they are washed. Really fed up... I have had different Maytags for at least 40 years and I will not purchase another one at this point. Apparently your customer service is as bad as some of your machines. My word of mouth is not good advertising for you.

I have a Maytag MEDC200XW3 model. Good price reliable and rugged. It washes all the way from my delicates to my husbands heavy fire protective clothing with no problems. Holds lots of clothes with no issues either!

I purchased Model #MHW563HW Frond loading automatic washer a little over 1 year. The options are not for me. The quick wash is way too short 20 minutes, all the rest of the options are 51 minutes to 2 hours & 57 minutes! If you wanted to add some extra minutes to the Quick wash you are out of luck. Normal wash is 55 minutes but can last much longer, it takes forever for this machine to balance which adds time to the process.I had an LG front washer before this one and when the clothes came out they were almost dry, not this washer, they are very wet. Then there is the horrible odor that comes after you use it, Ive tried drying every area making sure there isnt a drop in it. Still the stench is unbearable. Yes it has a Clean Washer with Affresh option which takes an additional 128 minutes and you have to do it at least once a week! Thats a LOT of wasted energy. That just doesnt sound efficient to me, washing the washer. Why??? This washer had great reviews which I read, not one mentioning these issues.

I purchased a Maytag over the range microwave a couple of years ago when I had my kitchen remodeled. I have had it repaired twice already. Each time, it cost over $150. I bought this product with confidence that it was a quality product. To say the least, I am very disappointed and I will never buy this brand again. My previous microwave lasted over 15 years without a single problem. The only reason that I got rid of it was to have matching appliances. It was not a Maytag. I am looking to buy a new microwave and I will be sure to look at the reviews to prevent being suckered again!

In May of 2009, my husband and I bought a new Maytag refrigerator side-by-side, model MSD-2572VEW. The day we bought it, pieces started breaking. The shelves started cracking, and now they are completely falling apart. There are also cracks in the inside walls of the refrigerator. Every single door shelf, inside shelf and wall is falling apart. I have fixed the ice-maker myself several times. I am now going to design and build some new shelves so that we can get as much use out if it as possible before it is unusable. I am angry that a company can make such a horrible product and not have to take responsibility. If my employer ever provided a client anything but the best, we would all be out a job.

Ive had this Maytag microwave for about 4 years and the magnetron had to be replaced. The keypad was replaced three times due to SE code shutting down unit which happened again. When I explained this to Maytag, they said it is out of warranty. I explained to them that the last keypad which was replaced was only 6 months old. They replied but the unit is out of warranty! I would never recommend Maytag or any affiliated companies to anyone.

Purchased a new Maytag washer top load/Dryer set on April 1, 2016. Having trouble uploading receipt but I paid 1,145.83 for set. It took 2 weeks to get it delivered on April 15. 1st use it shook and wobbled even though the load was balanced but Ive read that is a problem with these machines. 1st load of clothes, washer didnt fill with enough water to wash properly - 3-4 inches of water for a full load of jeans. Top 2/3 of clothes hardly got wet! Changed the setting, same problem. Changed the setting again, same problem. I had to stand at washing machine and keep lifting the lid to get more water in the machine. Clothes didnt rotate in machine so all the clothes on top half didnt get cleaned. The spin cycle is scary! You could hear clunking noises and it had nothing to do with load being balanced. Did a small load and same thing with water level and spin cycle. Called Home Depot to pick up both machines on next business day. The dryer lint trap is so long, it made a mess trying to remove the lint even after only 1 load. NEVER AGAIN MAYTAG! Ive never regretted an appliance purchase like I do now. Maytag and April Fools day are a perfect match. Only its for real and not a joke.

I bought a Maytag Bravos washer in March 2015. Over the summer I had two items, both cotton t-shirts come out of the washer badly stretched and torn. Other items have come out badly stretched, but not destroyed. After the second shirt was destroyed, I called Maytag (Sept. 2015). A young man was sent over. He ran the diagnostic, finding nothing wrong. He did not check the agitator. He reported back that it must be the way I loaded the machine. I use the Normal and Active Wear settings, leaving the center clear. My loads are very small. Under these conditions items should not get caught. Maytag stands by their claim that it is my fault. I only figured out what was actually happening when I saw an item caught.

Maytag Centennial 3.4 top-loader was purchased at Home Depot. It has never worked yet. On 4/28/12, the third weekend, I sat home for the servicemen to fix this junk machine. The first two times, the machine didn’t work ten minutes after they left and today they went to the wrong address. I have much more important things to do than to sit around and wait for someone to figure out what is wrong with this machine. It would have been cheaper for me to junk this brand new machine and buy a washer from a company that makes washers that work!

I wish I had never bought a Maytag refrigerator! Nothing but problems. The ice maker does not work, water leaked 3 times onto our wood floor. Finally, I disconnected the control panel so I have an ice/water dispenser that is useless just like the refrigerator. I dont think the Maytag man is sitting around from lack of work, maybe laziness. Dont buy a Maytag.

Maytag model MBF1958XEQ1 frost build up and ice build up bottom freezer 2011 model. Recently refrigerator not able to stay cold. Contacted Associated Service Corp. because my fridge had a ten year warranty on the compressor only. It cost me $377 dollars to have a service tech change the circuit board and remove a rubber drain valve that was blocking the excess water drain to the evaporator tray. It is working well now but will keep looking for ice build up.

Maytag XL Washer - My new machine is awful as well. Black clothes are smeared with I dont know what... looks like dirt. The wrinkle cycle doesnt work and the bedding cycle forget. Wish I read reviews... silly me.

I purchased a new gas range in Nov 2013, but didnt use it until April because I was remodeling a house I had just bought. When I used it to cook Easter dinner, my meal was cold; the oven heats, then shuts off. Maytag has sent service techs 3 times. They have replaced the control board and the DSI module and ordered another part, for which we have been waiting over 3 weeks. Now they tell me it will be here next week. Maytag obviously cannot fix the NEW range, but they refuse to replace it. They deem it to be repairable though they cannot repair it. Customer service claims to be sympathetic, but will do nothing except schedule another service call and offer to extend my service warranty. What good is a service warranty if they cant repair the appliance? If youre smart, youll steer clear of Maytag and Whirlpool appliances. They are total CRAP.

Bravo XL washer and dryer - I had the washer approx 2 months before it leaked water all over the laundry room. The company replaced the washer after two weeks. Now the dryer has gone out after two years. If it cost me the amount stated by other consumers I wont be fixing it.

At two different times today I was left on hold for thirty minutes each. I was told the compressor only had a year warranty on it, cant do anything about it. I then went online to Maytag web page and it read only on compressor the warranty had ten years. I called them after a very long wait and was told that was just started with the ten year warranty. I have owned many different refrigerators never heard of compressor only lasting 5 years. The serviceman who came out to tell me compressor was bad said the name Maytag used to stand for something but now stands for junk. Worse customer service, worse product.

I bought my black refrigerator in 2006. It has ice in the door and freezer on left side and refrigerator on right. I have not had any problem with my refrigerator and it continues to serve me well. When I need to buy another one, I will probably get a stainless that doesnt show handprints.

I bought a Maytag dishwasher, when I bought my house (7/2010). I live alone and I use my dishwasher only once a week or once every two weeks. After 3 years of working perfect, it stopped working. I had someone come look at it. After troubleshooting with the basic steps, making sure the water was correctly hooked up, a fuse was not the problem. The dishwasher door was shut completely. He took the racks and all movable parts, & thought something, a piece of glass, etc, was stuck in the drain. Nope. After reading these reviews I realize it is got to be the control panel because the start button will not come on and all these people have the similar problem. It just stopped. Period. The panel lights come on, but not the stop button. I am a single person as stated and on disability and on a very tight budget. I bought a Maytag because of the name and reputation. How long would it have lasted under normal use, say a family of 4, using it nightly? Certainly less than a year. I have no idea what to do now. I cannot afford a repairman, & I am certain it is the control panel on the dishwasher. I do of course have all the model numbers, etc & papers, when I bought it. I can provide proper paperwork, when contacted.

I purchased a Maytag refrigerator from a local business (Decker and Sons in Grand Rapids, Michigan). The fridge is a French door style with the freezer on the bottom and a water dispenser/ice maker in the left door. In the 19 months weve owned the unit weve had to have service three times. One time for the freezer door not shutting correctly, and two times because the refrigerator portion quit cooling (freezer was fine). Both times it was due to something breaking that defrosts the area behind the vegetable drawers.Both times all of our food went bad. Second time it took almost two weeks to fix (Diamond was the repair service). Now, after the service, the left door doesnt shut correctly. The quality of the unit is so questionable that I hesitate to fill it back up with food. Its just plain old junk. Luckily, we purchased a five year warranty when we purchased it...but we thought the service would be performed by the shop where we bought it, but its farmed out to other repair providers.

Product: Maytag MFI2665XEM Ice2O 25.5. Bought this refrigerator on Feb. 2013 at Home Depot. Maytag cannot repair the heat exchanger as it is a discontinued model. Our only option: Purchase another comparable current model refrigerator with a full price of $2,199.00. It will be sold to us for a discount price of $1,308.00 with free delivery. NJ tax and installation not included. This is a two year old refrigerator with orig over $2000. We had requested for a repair since August 2015. We had spoiled food expenses and rented a temporary refrigerator. Numerous attempts to repair and order the parts to no avail. The excuse is either they ordered the wrong part and eventually was told its been discontinued. Our warranty was automatically canceled. We have spent numerous hours with the Maytag customer service and was given a promise to find the part overseas as well to get the appliance fixed. Finally, this morning of November 2, 2015, we were given the final Im sorry and this is all we can offer you, to buy another refrigerator from us. It appears that this is a defective model but we have not received any recall letters or warning about it. This needs to be addressed as this is an unacceptable practice and deceiving to the consumers, and certainly unfair for people like us who work very hard to pay for this appliances. We cannot afford another $1500 refrigerator. We are now stuck with this worthless, stainless steel junk in our kitchen.

I write this as the repairman is fixing my Neptune washer. As with many other complaints, I was experiencing the awful mold smell with the only fix being leaving the washer door open when not in use. This works but for the past few years a switch on the front broke which means we have had to leave the top off the washer and rig it every time we used it. Sometimes it would work and sometimes an error code would show and I would have to just turn to spin and finish that way. At the same time in 2005, I purchased all Maytag appliances. First the microwave went out then the ice maker broke and is still broken, then the dishwasher went out and had to be replaced. Washer broke so basically the only thing that has had no issues is the oven and all happened just outside the five-year warranty. Never again will I buy Maytag.

The microwave is 5 years 6 months since purchase model MMV4203DS. Fire started at rack clip left front rack, was cooking bacon. Called Maytag and according to them and manual on page 3 is only for 2-level cooking to avoid damage to microwave oven. DOES NOT SAY WILL CATCH FIRE OR THE RACK CAUSES SPARKS AND BACON SHOULD NOT BE COOKED IN A MAYTAG MICROWAVE. But according to Representatives of MAYTAG ** its my fault for not reading my manual. YES AND NOT HAVING THE SERIAL NUMBER THAT IS ON A PAPER TAG IN THE WHIP ZONE. The was gone from keeping it clean faded out. So I cannot be helped without the model and serial number.

Bought a Maytag HD top load washing 11/4/17. Within the first month the machine began to make a loud squealing noise during the wash cycle. A repairman came out 2 times before finally replacing the gearbox and tub. Within the last month or so the problem began again, another repairman came out twice, and once again, had to replace the gearbox and tub. When he left I ran a load and the machine sounded like a war was occurring inside of it. Very loud banging and grinding... heck I was wishing for just the squealing back! Maytag refuses to replace the machine and just keeps sending out repair people. The Maytag name once stood for quality but that was long ago.

Purchased a Maytag front loader and matching dryer in Sears and have had nothing but problems with both since the beginning. Now that the warranty has run out we have even more problems and doing laundry has become stressful. Big lemons. Wish I had kept my Kenmore units. Now looking into reviews for other brands, may go back to the Kenmore brand too. NOTHING can be as bad as Maytag.

Fridge model # MSF25D2EAB00. I have had the fridge 3 years and 2/3 shelves have crumbled to pieces, the compressor has gone, the ice bucket crumbled, the ice maker stopped working, once ice maker was fixed it got stuck on crush, and now I am trying to order another shelf because it has also crumbled like the rest and this is in a household of 1 person! I am just getting the run around... I have been redirected to 3 different numbers now (800-344-1274, 866-368-6478, and 877-468-2371) and now I had a rude customer service rep so I asked if I could speak with someone else and I am now on eternal rot on hold. Pretty sure he didnt even transfer me and Im just sitting on hold on his line while he is laughing. Time to hang up and try again another day. #un**believableI was also told that if I purchased the extended warranty plan that it would cover the crappy shelves in the future so I did and now they are telling me it doesnt cover them and it only gives me a discount on them. MAYTAG YOU OWE ME A NEW FRIDGE... THIS ONE IS A LEMON! I have no clue what my order number is or where my receipt is at the moment but I could get a copy Im sure because I purchased it on my HomeDepot credit card so if you want it let me know and I will provide it to you then.

We bought all new appliances for our remodel. I wish I could return this dishwasher. It has a problem with the door staying closed. I added images of how we are able to make it work. A service person is coming by tomorrow to put a new latch on it (I read several reviews saying the latch is messed up). So I made sure the service person is coming with the part. I called Home Depot when the problem started (used for up to 5 washes or so). And Home Depot wont return it! I called Maytag and they tried selling me an extended warranty and I asked what about the 10 year warranty the machine is supposed to come with? I guess thats a joke as the lady told me I should of read the fine print. So buyers beware! I wish I would of know about Maytag. I would have about a Samsung instead!!!

I purchased this machine (Maytag Bravos XL MVWX700XL2 ) about 18 months ago. I was so excited with the looks and the reviews I found on the machine at that time. For the first 14 months I was happy. All of a sudden, it has become the washer from Hades! It twists and almost ruins my clothing. Not to mention, I think it is permanent wrinkles that it puts into things. I washed our comforter on Bulky. The part that must have been at the bottom is completely wrinkled and it also wrecked all of the fill. This was a comforter that it is supposed to be fine to put in the washer. I am attaching pictures in which you can almost plainly see where the comforter was at the bottom. I had a serviceman out a few weeks ago. He said Maytag knows that there is a problem, however, there is no service bulletin that is out yet on it. In addition, he ran all of the codes and told me there is nothing wrong with my machine. That must be why I have to iron almost every piece of clothing in this house. Maytag will hopefully give me decent customer service on this, or I will come unglued. For the price of this washing machine, I expected much more.

I contacted Maytag, and they claimed to know of NO issues with this fridge. I told them its all over the internet, many others with the same fridge and same problem. Anybody up for a class action?

Bought a new Bravo washer and gas dryer; Dryer model mgdb980bg. Bought it September 2013. I have had nothing but problems. The dryer would run for 10 minutes then shut off saying check lint trap. Then once it started going again, it close were even damp. It wouldnt sense so it wouldnt start. Finally it got to the point where I couldnt get my dryer working so I phone repair place. The guy came out and set the temperature. Gauges or sensors were off by over 20 degrees as well our entire starter motor was shot. That was over a month ago and we are still waiting for a part that is apparently back ordered. I call today and they said its a faulty dryer and it could take anywhere from a week to two months to get the part. I am requesting a new dryer.

I love this washer. You can fill all the way or energy setting but either way it does the job. I paid 1200 for a Whirlpool. it was broken within 6 moand couldnt get service repair. With the Maytag it was on sale for 550 cash. It stop spinning. I called for service. They were there in 2 days on time and 20 minutes it was working. It was a needle stopped it. Just reprogrammed and wa-lah!

I got a new washer and dryer for my ex wife and son last August. Its October and the agitator broke off. She is not abusive to things and just the two of them dont produce much laundry. This was just poorly built. Maytag should be ashamed to have built such a poor product. I thought GE had the worst appliances, but Maytag must have hired their engineers. After having had Maytag Highlander washer and dryer for 28 years in our early married life, and continuing to think that Maytag was a quality product, we purchased the Neptune front load washer MAH6700AWW. Let me tell you this IS NOT your mothers washer, nor is this Maytag a quality product. First it was necessary to install water pipe shock arrestors because of the water valve on washer causing shock in the waterline when it closed. The automatic Softener/detergent dispenser didnt work from day one.Coins and etc. constantly kept getting under flippers and couldnt be easily removed. I found that it was impossible to remove the plastic flipper without breaking a plastic mounting tab. On my first call to customer the Maytag Customer Loyalty Team, aka Customer Service (CS), I was told that the plastic flippers were not available as a separate part, and that the entire tub assembly with plastic flippers would need to be replaced. WHAT???????? THATS LUDICROUS. After temporarily securing the broken flipper to the tub, I thought Id call again about a week later to see if the previous answer was correct. On this call, the customer service lady (whose name I have), said the flippers are available and that she would send two at no charge. A few days later two flippers arrived, but were not the correct ones. I then decided to drill two holes in the tub and remounted the broken flipper with two stainless screws as a permanent solution.Two pumps needed to be replaced. One was replaced under warranty and one by myself. The one replaced by me was damaged by a coin that made its way from the tub to the pump. Other washer manufacturers provide a means of trapping such objects before they get to the pump. The wash cycle stopped unexpectedly numerous times without reason, after which the code 5d was displayed. I called Maytag Customer service. The representative didnt know what 5d code meant. Her suggestion was to call a service man. Again, I called later to ask and was told 5d meant excessive suds which wasnt the cause. Might this have been a control problem?There were three incidents of water discharging onto the floor from under the washer over the last two months, which caused water to cover an area of approximately 5 by 12 resulting in extensive cleanup in addition to damage to stored items. Since these occurrences were weeks apart and unpredictable, I knew the problem would be difficult, if not impossible, to diagnose, even by a serviceman. I concluded that it was probably a problem with the control; either filling too long or not emptying the tub before refilling for the next cycle. Thats when I decided to send this troublesome Maytag piece of junk to the landfill.

Purchased a Maytag French door freezer underneath refrigerator 8 years ago. It stopped working because of the circuit board located behind the ice and water compartment on April 7th. Contacted a Maytag repairman, which is a whole other story. Had to order the part, weeks and weeks go by telling us the part is coming. Then a call came from the repair man on June 17th, Maytag no longer makes the part. Meantime we located the part by taking the fridge apart ourselves and ordered it arriving today June 19th. Contacted Maytag - Whirlpool corporate. Answer, We are sorry we no longer make the part, and basically told me after spending $2800.00 8 years ago Im up the creek without a paddle.

Had a brand new Maytag MDB4949 dishwasher installed on 10/20/15. Noticed an acrid smell of burning plastic coming from the pull handle. After going to the reviews I see a pattern of shorting control panel boards melting the ribbon cable. Having repaired Xerox copy machines for 17 years, I recognized the smell of an electronics short and melting plastic. There are 600+ complaints for the same thing. Going to call the store we purchased it from and will escalate from there.

We had a repairman come out and take a torn pillowcase out that was jamming. It worked for a couple of weeks, now refuses to start. We have decided to rid ourselves of the Bravos 300 washing machine and not deal with Maytag any more. I would not advise anyone to buy a washer of this type, as it never really got the clothes clean to begin with.

Have read others reviews and experiences and wish I had visited here first. Our first Maytag washer and dryer set lasted over 25 years with only minor repairs until the transmission started to leak grease and was uneconomical to repair. Our second set only lasted nearly 10 years and were obviously lesser quality. The wife decided that she wanted the best and high tech version. She really liked the features of the Bravos 300. What a mistake! Not even three years old and she has been dealing with the noise and the problem with constant unbalanced loads, intermittent error codes, odors and the forever cleaning requirement. The whites were intermittently getting rust stains until I determined that the underneath side of the top cover around the bleach reservoir had rusted out big time. I replaced the top cover for over $125 plus an afternoon that I will never get back. (Out of warranty, of course). Today the wife called me to say that the washer would not complete the rinse cycle and she could not reset it. We had to pump out the water and pick the wet clothes out. A grinding sound is coming from near the bottom of the machine and sounds expensive. The service man is scheduled to be here day after tomorrow to give me the bad news. My next washer purchase will NOT be a Maytag or any other high tech piece of crap. Simple is better.......

Maytag Bravo XL top load water saver - Purchased this two years ago. This is the worst washer I have spent my hard earned money on. It has ripped clothes, always leaves a lint and soap film on the cloths. We have to re-rinse two to three times especially on black and brown dark clothes. I have raised 7 kids. In the past Maytag has always been the best. I spent a bundle for the matching set and we have to suck it up and buy another set. We wouldnt feel right selling this set to anyone knowing the faulty sales pitch we were mislead into buying this brand. Purchased from Sears. Sears chose not to offer any help in replacing with a different brand.

We inherited this Maytag (Model MGR7662WW) when we bought our house this year. I love this unit. It cooks accurately, its easy to clean and its just rock solid in its performance. I never worry that the cook times are going to be off either. The oven racks are solid and the overall look is nice. Our friends and family love the center grill as much as we do. If I need to pull something off the burner I dont worry that Ill scratch the stove top with this feature. The oven heat is also pretty contained. Our old oven radiated lots of heat through the top. This one doesnt and thats a huge plus. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is that the grills are cracking (not the center one). However, I have no way of knowing if the original buyer damaged them or if its a defect in materials. They still work fine but I will need to replace them at some point. Given the cost of replacing them Ill wait as long as I can.

Worst washer ever. Wish I had read all these reviews before I bought. I have had the same poor experience. Laundry doesnt even get wet while being washed. Agitation does not affect laundry. Just moves back and forth under laundry. Clothes do not come out clean. Feel I was ripped off.

My refrigerator is several years old, and I would buy the same brand when I need a new one, although I would hopefully buy a counter depth one because my kitchen is so small, and the one I have now is kind of big for the space.

Bought a Maytag dishwasher model MDB7749AWM2 on 02 Jan 2012 with no issues whatsoever until three days ago when it stopped working altogether and after doing a series of tests I discovered that Im joining a large and growing list of owners with the same problem. I never have been a fan of digital controls due to their vulnerability to temperature and humidity conditions or high impacts for that matter. Ive owned many dishwashers of various brands for upwards of 10 years on average each. This is the first one not equipped with analog/mechanical controls. Im hoping I can still find more of that type.

I cook a lot so we wanted to purchase a double oven. We purchased this double oven about 10 months ago. Every day I complain about this range. It cooks very uneven. Called Maytag and they sent out a repairman who said I needed to preheat the oven for 25 minutes before putting my food inside. Dont pay any attention to the beep, because when it says it has preheated but it really hasnt. To think you pay that kind of money for such a piece of JUNK!! Also, I have owned 2 other glass top stoves (the last one I owned for 23 years) and never had a scratch on the surface. Theres already a big scratch on this new one. Glass top on this one is such poor quality. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

We purchased the washing machine (MVWB400VQO) on July 9, 2009. Now we must buy a new washing machine as this one is apparently beyond repair, or else the repair costs will far exceed what it would cost to purchase a new machine. We are completely disgusted with its failure, as we paid $822.36, with the delivery fee and the tax. We expected that this machine would last for years, but here we are, 42 months later, having to again invest in a washer. Now that we have a computer and are able to browse your performance reports, we wish we had been able to read them before, in which case we never ever would have bought it at all.Yesterday it spewed water all over our basement, flooding things that should not get wet, providing an atmosphere for encouragement of mold and rust. The motor is gone as the housing is cracked, which was caused by debris getting into it, something that we could not have known or prevented. This is very poor design by your company, in our opinion. We called some repairmen, all useless as apparently the whole machine would have had to be completely dismantled at a rate of $84.00 per hour, and he could not tell us how many hours that would take, to say nothing of finding a new motor for the thing.We will never again buy a Maytag product as they are expensive with a too-short shelf life and there’s nobody who cares when you need help for something that should not have happened at all. I understand Maytag is really not the good old dependable Maytag we used to know and love at all, but rather is now owned by the Whirlpool Corporation, whose products we will never purchase either.I know why that lovable old Maytag repairman we used to see on TV is retired. Its because he could no longer stand the quality (or lack thereof) of the appliances that you are now producing. He is probably home, hiding his head somewhere and hoping nobody will recognize him. Maytag Bravo 300 Quiet Series - Bought this Maytag 5 years ago because Ive always had good experiences with them. After 3 years it started making rattling sounds so we had someone come out and fix it for around $275.00. 2 years later its still rattling, leaving black grease marks and putting holes in the clothes. Will not complete cycle unless it is unplugged, reset and plugged back in. I give up, I just bought an LG. I will never buy another Maytag washer again, still have the matching dryer though.

My machine is only 14 months old and will not even turn on. I opened the lid, and the tub was filled with water and the wet clothes sitting in there. There were only 6 items in there: 3 school skirts and 3 school pants, dripping wet. So I unplugged the unit to try and clear the circuit board - to no avail. The machine will still not turn on. The lights are on, the sensor turns on for about 3 seconds and shut off and everything just sits there. I did not get the extended warranty. My mom still has her Maytag she bought 30 years ago and its running like a champ. Wish I could say the same. I gave my sister my old Maytag - its 25 years old and its still running like a champ. This machine is a LEMON. I will never buy another Maytag again. I am so done with this brand. I hope that a Class Action suit is filed against them.

I would not recommend the Maytag washer with the large tub. It does not clean your clothes. I called Maytag and they do not care as long as it uses as little water as possible! Not a good value for the money!! That was the first time and last time I buy a Maytag... Thats the last $5000 they will get from us!

PURCHASED WASHER FROM LOWES. IT STOPPED WORKING IN 2 WEEKS. CALLED MAYTAG FOR SERVICE. First repair service wanted to charge me. Next repair company Rawlings made 2 visits, looked at washer 1st visit said they had to order top latch. 2nd visit need circuit board. 3 weeks passed no latch, no circuit board, nor repair service. DO NOT BUY A MAYTAG WASHER.

we have trouble with maytag doublre oven. the oven is over 100 degree off set temp and is not consitant. some times high some times low. we have had ae repair out they relaced control board and circuit board same problem still exists. we had turner repair out they took a reading when it hit desires temp but did not stay to see temp rise above or below set temp. turner repair another tech order a temp probe the turner tech put in probe and jst left didnot even check oven. he was pissed off I quess. same problem still exisits. We bought stove from Nebraka furniture mart the said theyont support repair after 30 days. we hope and pray that the tech will report to Maytag (Whirlpool) that the stove is bad and we can get a new one. So far no repair action has helped. We had a repair person out to repair a leak on a whirlpool washer . he also is qualified on stove but not a whirlpool repair authorized repair person. He checkedd the stove and said it is 100 degees off and we need to get a new one. We had 10 year old Kenmore units in the past that were much better and worked faster at both cleaning and drying. We prefer a washer with a agitator and top load. The dryer is preferred to be gas. Both the Maytag washer and dryer we have need constant repairs. Washer for control panel repairs, and dryer for false heat sensing problems. Now they say not to use dryer anti-wrinkle sheets. The washer needs less sheets put in at a time to rinse better. It is a agitator less model.

We bought our Maytag dishwasher because of the topnotch features; such as 10 year warranty, low noise level, maximum cleaning power and it looks great. The dishes come out exceptionally clean and don’t needs to be rinsed prior to putting them in.

My boyfriend and I just recently purchased a Maytag brand washer and dryer set. So far, we are thrilled with our purchase. We got front load units that have an XL barrel so we can use it to wash comforters and larger loads. I have washed many loads and so far, havent noticed a longer time to wash or any issues. I love the fact that my clothes are all getting equally as clean and I can be sure that my items will not be torn or ripped in the process. I would recommend this product to anyone.

We built a new home in 2008 and purchased a Maytag appliance package from Home Depot, including a dishwasher, stove and refrigerator. From the beginning, we had problems with our French door refrigerator (MFC2061HEW; it has been discontinued). Within the first year we had 3 ice makers replaced because it was not making any ice. Now, mind you, we went through Maytag to have their repairman to service our appliance and they set up all the service calls. We limped by for awhile and called a different repairman to come and check the fridge because it was not staying cold or making ice again and, of course, it was out of warranty. The first thing he did was check the freon and we were told that it didnt have enough freon to keep it going, so he recharged it and it worked great. We have had to have the repairman come back again this month because it stopped making ice and the temperature for upper and lower was all over the place. He checked the freon again and said the unit has a slow leak in it and he was unable to fix that. I contacted Maytag because I felt if the first repairman had checked the freon from the beginning, we wouldnt be having this problem. The only suggestion I got from them was call a company with a dye kit test and that they are sorry, but its not under warranty. I dont know about anyone else, but $2000.00 for a fridge that has been a pain since day one is a lot of money to replace. I feel they dont care about their customers and they should be responsible for paying for the repair that should have been caught from the get-go.

I bought a Maytag Bravo washer 11 months ago, and I have had nothing but trouble with it. I have had it worked on twice, and now, Sears is sending me a new one, because it is broken again. I would rather have my money back, go somewhere else, and get a new washer. I will never buy anything from Sears again. They could not send a person out for other repairs for 1 week. Then they would have to send out for parts, because the drum is peeling on the tops. So that means more time to wait for parts to come in, and the machine is not spinning out. The cycles are not washing right; sometimes, they wash a cycle 2 times.Sears does nothing but give you a runaround. And the Morrisville Vt. store manager is so rude. He was talking to me like I was stupid. Now, I have to wait 3 more days before a washer comes in from the warehouse after Sears told me it was coming on 4/24 between 9:45-11:45. Then the manager told me I could take the floor model if I want it today, which has scratches on it. I was hoping someday to buy the dryer to match the washer. But now, I do not want anything to do with the brand. I bought a Maytag refrigerator also last year. Its beautiful. Everything is in my kitchen, and I have been working on getting everything to match. I am raising my 2 grandchildren and am on a fixed income. They treat people awfully at Sears, and it is too bad Maytag works with them.

The washer is not cleaning the laundry. Its a HE my butt. Its been looked at and fixed numerous times. It sits too long and it doesnt really agitate the laundry at all. Laundry is in the exact position when you loaded it when its done. Its the worst washer ever! I can clean the laundry better in the sink!

Since the day I bought the Maytag Bravos XL washer it never worked correctly. An entire year of several repair men, which half said there was something wrong and other half said nothing was wrong with it. Now it sits in my garage as the most expensive paperweight. After repeated requests, the Whirlpool company that owns Maytag now refuses to stand by their product, replace it, refund it or anything at all. They have washed their hands, yet I cannot wash my clothes in it!

I purchased a dishwasher for $741 in December 2012. I called customer service department who told me that I should expect to pay since I did not buy the extended warranty. I thought by buying a high end appliance it would last 5 years without the control panel giving out ($300 cost with installation). Please DO NOT buy this brand!!!

I purchase a Maytag dishwasher from Home Depot on 12/31/11. Based on the their commercials, I thought they were dependable. I did purchase an extended warranty, as I always do with any new appliance. After 2 years, the dishwasher stop working. I contact Home Depot and the extended warranty and was told to contact the manufacturer. Maytag blamed the extended warranty for the problem. They told me they could not help me. And could not help me. I will never ever buy any appliances from Maytag again. This model is M936/110V cord.

On February 2006, I purchased a Maytag Quiet Series 300 Dishwasher and on July 2007, a motor leak. Maytag fixed it for free even though it was out of warranty. Thereafter (December 2008), the touch pad failed and I replaced it for $50. It is now August 2011, and that new touch pad is bad again, and this time, the part is $170. The Maytag will not run and the lighted display will not function from the start button. This was a $450 dishwasher that is now only five years old and useless.In all fairness to Maytag, their customer service is very good and willing to work with customers. Unfortunately, the product is very inferior in my opinion. To have stupid stuff like a control touch pad failing every three years is absurd and the replacement cost makes fixing it a bad investment.I will be going out this weekend and buying a brand-new inexpensive dishwasher that is on sale for $229. This model is not a Whirlpool product but it is a name brand.

This microwave doesnt rotate in use, it only goes back and forth...not as good! I believe the rotating type of microwaves heat your food more evenly, but it might just be a personal preference. I would NOT recommend this type of microwave.

First front loader washer and love it. Saving on water, less tangling of clothes. So far they are quieter than others that I have had. The dryer is almost 10 years old and the washer less than a year. The machine I had previous to this was top loader that had to be replaced, would no longer spin.

We bought a top load washer and the matching dryer. A thermal switch (I think it’s called) blew in the dryer at about two years. Luckily my husband is an electrician, so he took care of that. WASHER-A little after 2 years the plastic “driver hub” stripped And the agitator has stopped working, the door is having trouble locking and it won’t spin fast enough to get the water out of the clothes. I’ve ordered a new “driver hub” for $53! It is a cheap plastic part. Probably 1 cent to make in China. Robbery. This will hopefully resolve all 3 issues I’m having with the washer. They even charged me 9.99 shipping. $2000 later Maytag/Whirlpool should treat their customers like royalty. I will never ever buy another Maytag or other brands associated with Whirlpool ever again.

I bought a Maytag washer 6 years ago. Energy saver. Less water. Nothing ever seemed clean. Always white streaks and I used liquid detergent. So we went out and bought another Maytag with agitator June 2017. Never drains properly. I will never ever buy another Maytag product.

Had it for over ten years, had no problems. We dont use the oven too often but it is simple to operate and has served us well. Easy to clean, stainless steel like looks on the front goes well with our other appliances. Reasonably priced too.

DO NOT PURCHASE UNLESS you want dirty clothes that smell.... Water level not correct, binding laundry together and replaced the same parts with cheap parts over and over... just wanted clean clothes in a no frills washer. NOT with this washer. Owned it 3 yrs and disliked it the first half washed load... $869.00 heap of junk.

The soap dispenser along with the port it slides in becomes molded and is not easy to clean, front loader. I never had a front loader washer with this moldy problem. I have been cleaning it at least once a month,

I have had this washer (top loading washer model MVWX550XW0) almost 2 years. It has ruined some of my clothes. It does not properly wash anything. I have tried every possible solution. I cannot use the HE powder detergent - it will not rinse out. I tried using less than required and double rinse, absolutely did not overload. Even using the HE liquid still did not get clothes clean. I used the number one detergent to the cheaper brand - it makes no difference. I still have to double rinse everything. Small throw rugs will not even get totally wet or clean. I took clothes to the laundromat just to make sure it was the washer. It is this washer. I know I have waited too long to register my complaint, but I have basically thrown away $1200. Also, loads of clothes would take up to 1 & 1/2 to 2 hours to wash. Now that is definitely not energy efficient. I would love for you to pick it up and bring me a standard washer and dryer. I work for a research firm and know when companies really care about their customers. I will be interested to see if the Maytag Man really cares. The only reason I did not check angry is because of my delayed response.

Maytag msd2650kes refrigerator - I replaced compressor switch three times then compressor went out after only almost four years. We bought all new Maytag when remodeling. Never again will we ever be that stupid again.

Besides the fact that it barely agitates or turns over the clothes even on deep fill (which we need every time otherwise a whole HE cycle goes and the top clothes remain DRY), the oh-so-fancy power button stopped working at less than 2 yo! And guess what, because it is not a button or knob, but control panel sensor button you hover over to turn on, the fix is to replace the $400 little control panel box. On a $600 terrible washing machine! We trashed it and bought something else without a faulty button system. Very unhappy. Do not buy this.

Purchased this oven at Lowes on 2/8/2018 for $1925. Worked good until my wife cleaned the lower oven on 11/22/2019. The next morning the oven was locked and nothing would work. We called for service and the repair bill was $194.55. I told the repairman that the oven had a 10 year warranty on it, one year on everything and the rest on the parts only. He said no, and showed me in the warranty book that it only covered two parts. Which was not the two parts he had to replace. If you purchase a oven with self-clean feature, I would recommend that you do not use it.

I bought this machine because it has a (deep water wash), which means there is a lot of water, enough to cover the clothes, at least I thought so, the salesman seemed to think so as well! But no, it does not come close to covering the clothes, false advertising! I must put my clothes in a large bucket, soak the clothes with water, then bring the bucket to the washer and empty it into it, because of the weight of the water, the machine adds almost enough water to cover the clothes.Another big problem with this washer is the fact that if I lift the top in mid-wash, while I do something, not wanting to listen to the irritating sound it makes in my apartment, after 10 minutes it starts to drain and there is no way to stop it, I must wait until it completely drains and restart the machine. This machine has the stench of government on it!!! My advice, keep your old machine.

We purchased the Maytag dishwasher model # MDB4949SDZ almost one year ago. Since the beginning there has been a smell to our drinking glasses when we put drink in them...smells like boiled eggs. We have always used Cascade dishwasher pods, but suddenly our dishes were being left with a gritty feeling film on them and I had to run them under water to rinse them after taking them out of the dishwasher. This model showed on Lowes website that it has a food grinder, but it cannot even get rid of a single kernel of corn that might get left on a plate. After a load is completely washed and you open the door, there is a strong smell of detergent. If you run an EMPTY dishwasher with NO soap it creates an abundance of suds like there is still soap all in the tub!!The repairman came out and called Maytag and they ran a diagnostic check on it and it said everything was okay. He said to run a cup of white vinegar through it and I did. It didnt help. Still lots of suds being produced when I run a cycle with NO dishes and NO soap!!! He said the food grinder doesnt actually grind or dispose of small particles of food, just grease!! What?!!!! We had to PAY $92 for the service call even though it is still under warranty just because the repairman and the Maytag guy on the phone couldnt figure out why this dishwasher is a hunk of junk!!!! Also, the top rack has clips on the side to lower and raise the rack. The outer sides of the top rack will only hold smaller glasses because these clips get in the way. I hate this dishwasher so much!!! My 18 year old Kenmore ran like a charm until Hurricane Harvey flooded our house. I will never buy a Maytag appliance again!!!

Purchased the Maytag Bravos washer and dryer at Home Depot. Previously had a Maytag set that was 25 plus years old that still ran well but was rusting out due flooding. Figured Maytag had great products. Have had mine for 4 years now and had nothing but trouble. Paid countless service calls, mainly on washer, will work for a short while and then stop again. Cant put more than 4 towels, or 3 pairs of pants or basically anything or the codes start popping up. I am so angry that a product I paid a lot of money for is such a piece of crap. Maytag Company has been no help and I see with all the complaints on this site I am not the only one who feels this way. A class action suit would be great!

Purchased washer last Nov. It broke over month ago, tub cracked and would no longer spin. The part took month to get. Same day was repaired. It broke again after 2nd load of wash with the same issue. I want a buy out or a different washer. It also tangled the clothes. Model no WET4027HW0 Purchased from Lowes which had good service.

I have bought Maytag products for years. I have a white Maytag microwave that is about 3 years old. It was given to me at 1 yr. old by my sister-in-law when she decided to splurge and create her dream kitchen and went with stainless. The door handle broke in the first year. We glued it. It just recently completely fell off completely-snapping at both ends. I am calling Maytag and attempting to have it repaired. I am otherwise very pleased with this appliance. I have had other microwaves for many years without this happening. Im hoping they will agree to repair.
